Abelene is a Semi-Fantasy story that combines Artemis Fowl and Sherlock Holmes, giving people a new choice of book when finishing those books.  Of course, the books will be of no relation to one another.  So, no crossovers.  

Abelene is a 14 year old girl (for now) that works as a detective in the city of London.  Some cases are normal, but some, of magical proportions, peak her interest.  Most of these lead to false accusations, but some really are book-worthy, if you catch my drift.

Young Adult book that doesn't overwhelm you with cringe worthy love stories, or traditions repeated by authors on this platform that quickly die out.

Maybe it wasn't fair, but she really would do almost anything for him. Building a life just to leave it behind and starting all over again, however, wasn't included in almost. When she got older she might change her mind. People did change after all, but right now she couldn't see herself marry, have children, watch them grow up and just one day desert them the way Urufu had been forced to do.
'Marry, when did I start thinking about marry?' When Urufu started talking studying together for more than the life she had lived, that's when. 'We haven't even slept together, so what gives me the right to think about marrying him?'
The random thoughts were all excuses. She might have forced the topic upon Kuri, but it wasn't one she liked to linger on. Noriko admitted it to herself. She wanted him, she wanted a life with him, she wanted kids with him, but most of all she wanted him to want her. Maybe it wasn't healthy, but it was what it was.
Short legs and long streets were, as always, a reason for her to be tardy, but now jumbled thoughts made her steps even slower than usual. Half an hour earlier she declined Kuri's offer to share a taxi to their hotel, and by now she already had to apologise quite a few times to people she walked into.
'Attention on your surroundings.' Urufu would have said that. He did, more than once, when they walked in magic greenery to meet Kuri earlier.
She stopped to pretend looking at the view offered by a wide boulevard. In truth it was a rather boring view with an endless line of temples darkening one side and the Kyoto Tower far behind her. She was reminded of an old paper back fantasy her parents had in their shelves, or rather a lot of them, all in hideous colours and written in English. Pratchett or something like that was the author, but a memory lingered of her mother telling her the real author of that scene was far older still.
'Kuri's world. Those books belong to her world, and my parents'.' That meant they belonged to Urufu's as well, and Noriko sulked when she allowed that admission to climb foremost to her mind. That world wasn't hers.
'How do I make mine his to share?' She dug in her pocket for her phone. Why not call him and ask?
'Gods!' The inbox looked like as if she had stayed bedridden for days. 'What's going on? Jeniferu!' There were several messages from the charismatic little monster, and while she was more subdued since her disgusting experience she still retained that natural ability to make friends. Lots and lots of friends. Most of the circles where Noriko kept acquaintances swollen by dozens of new members told their story of Noriko's new won fame.
'It just never ends, does it?' Among the comments were several which still echoed of the chaos last year. While Noriko suspected her life lost most of its familiar obscurity with only her test results being part of the rumour mill, the sheer magnitude of her blindness shocked her. From the moment she got involved with the arrivals her life was turned upside down.
'No, that's not right.' From the moment she made true friends she wanted around her for years and years ahead she became part of their lives. 'I might as well admit it.' She added her own share to the insanity they called high school days. Being one half of the twins including Ryu was more than enough to elevate her fame.
'But I never knew about you.' Or rather she never accepted how much Urufu influenced those around him. Kuri's stardom created an illusion of obscurity. Noriko shook her head and smiled. So she was famous among the Irishima first and second years as well now. She had no right being surprised. They made up the majority of the club after all.
'Third years?' That can't be right. Those names definitely belonged to their seniors. 'Ah, of course!' The first cultural festival. There were messages from members of the student council from that time. There was also one from Nao. Noriko stared at her phone. 'I almost forgot.' Reading his name hurt more than she thought it would. 'Idiot! You should just have told me.' But they would still have broken up. If not now then when he left school to pursue whatever dreams he had.
Her steps brought her out of the perfect grid making up most of central Kyoto. Her hotel lay close by. Whatever thoughts she needed to digest in solitude had to be handled right now. 'Time's running out. Should I tell Kyoko?' That wasn't the question. 'Urufu?' Could couples keep secrets from each other?
Waiting for a taxi to pass her Noriko played with that question in her head. What would the adult answer be? It had to be the adult one, or else she wouldn't be able to stay by Urufu's side.
'Gah! My head hurts! I'm still a child after all.' Suddenly all her wants felt like grand delusions. Life, marriage, children. Such grand dreams when she didn't even know the answer to such a simple question. Two answers. Yes or no. What right did she have to aspire to a lifetime together if she couldn't pick one out of two?
Urufu's voice rang in her head. His admonishing voice, his loving voice, his scared voice, his arrogant voice, but foremost of them all, his caring voice. "Does it have to be easy?" it said. "Must there be just one answer?" it added. "I'll listen to you even you have no answer." The last promise came with a timbre she knew all too well. Almost, she almost had her answer.
"Noriko! I was worried."
'Huh?' That didn't sound like a ghost in her head. Noriko looked up from her phone. 'Urufu!' "I felt like walking," she said.
He rushed to meet her. "Noriko, where have… Noriko, I hope you had fun."
There it was again. This time for real and not just in her head. Urufu's voice held both uncertainty and worries. 'Ah, I understand! He's just older. He doesn't know everything. He worries.' Noriko opened her arms and allowed herself to be swallowed in his embrace. No, small as she was, she swallowed him up as well.
'So that's it! You're not an adult because you know everything. You're an adult because you keep living despite not knowing anything at all.' She made her decision.

If you were transported from this world to another almost identical.

I woke up the next morning with a smile on my face and it isn't just because I didn't get stabbed by a single piece of hay that night. My cheery mood is evident and even Marie mentions it as she ties pretty pink ribbons into my hair. 

My plan to con my way into being the promised child all feels so real now and the sheer joy of having a concrete plan to avoid an early death has left me feeling giddy. Now I don't have to suck up to my emotionless father in hopes of earning an ounce of favor that will pay back in dividends when I'm falsely accused. I had a deadbeat father in my last life, this is nothing new. I've packed all my hard feelings about Emperor Helio into a little box and kicked it to a deep, dark corner of my mind. 

Forget fatherly love, all I want is to continue to enjoy my new, luxurious lifestyle without care. My thoughts wander back to the buttery soft coffee cake I had with fruits this morning, and my mouth starts watering again even though my stomach is full. If I want to continue to enjoy stress-free meals like these, I'm going to need to access the royal library for proper research. 

I stroll past the well-tended rose gardens to the front entrance of my palace, denoted by a white arched walkway with two royal guards standing tall on each side. When they see my small self making my way over, they turn and bow obediently. 

"Your highness," they say in unison. I just wave, using my little kid pass to get out of being excessively formal. 

"Good morning!" I respond. One of the guards, a blonde, handsome man looks familiar but I can't quite place where I've seen him before. 

They look nervous and rightfully so. The last time I had approached the entrance, they denied me from exiting on grounds that it was not safe for me to wander the palace. This time, however, I plan on walking through the arch no matter what. 

"I'm leaving today," I announce first. 

"Your highness, I'm afraid you are not allowed to leave because of your-", a guard starts.

"Because of my safety, right? Well, I thought about what you said last time and I have a solution. From now on whenever I leave the Palace, one of you can accompany me!" I give them my full, megawatt smile and clasp my hands together, but now the guards only look even more unsure. 

"Princess... we are just following orders that we've received," the blonde guard admits, the words looking like they pain him. I nod understandingly, but on the inside, I'm getting ready to go for the throat. 

"Oh?" I respond innocently. "And whose order is that?"

"Lord Amarelius, your highness," the other guard answers. The blonde guard gets a funny expression on his face as he hears Wolfgang's title and I suddenly recall where I saw him. Flashes of memories that night in Bianca's house make my cheerful expression fall from my face. 

"And is he higher or lower ranked than me?" I inquire, my tone no longer retaining the same charm as before. Looking at the young man who had tried to coax me out of the dress cabinet reminds me of how traumatic it was when the guards fetched me from the slums and I do not wish to remember that night.

"Your rank is greater than his in terms of sovereignty, but his is greater than yours when it comes to military powers, your highness," the blonde quickly counters. He has a decent head on his shoulders, but I already knew that from the time he discovered the hidden door to my room.

"Sooo," I say, placing one finger from both hands beside each other. "I'd say that makes us about even, wouldn't you..."

I trail off, waiting for the guards to give their names. The unfamiliar guard appears stressed, a bead of sweat visible under his helmet, while the blondie looks amused. 

"I'm Sir Paul." His voice trembles as he introduces himself. I tsk a little on the inside. That man will not get very far in the military if he is so easily scared by a child like myself. 

"And I am Sir Finn, your highness. And yes, that would make you even," the blonde announces grandly, dipping into a bow. Finn the Fox, I call him in my head.

Now I smile once more. 

"Then until Sir Ama... Amarel, oh you know who I'm speaking of," my youthful tongue tripping over the tongue twister of a last name, "until he personally comes and tells me I am not allowed to leave the Rose Palace, then I will go as I please until then." I almost say kapeesh at the end, but I narrowly realize that it's a word that doesn't exist in this world. 

"My lady," Marie starts nervously. She had been against my plan all morning and now she crept from where she stood behind me to speak.

"It's fine, Marie. Isn't Sir Finn?" I look him dead in the eye.

Finn bursts into a loud, belly grabbing laugh. 

"Indeed, your highness," he responds, wiping a tear from his eye. He is the first of the two guards to move out of my path and the other quickly follows suit, looking like he is about to throw up his breakfast. 

I begin to walk out the archway, feeling extremely triumphant and ready to take on the world. But Finn the Fox was not quite finished yet.

"However, your highness," he begins from behind me and I slow to a stop. "You still need a guard to accompany you to your destination."

I grit my teeth, because he is right. 

"Just for today," I sigh. I don't want to let one, irritating knight ruin what should otherwise be a splendid day. 

This is my first day walking around the royal palace. I'd seen glimpses of this architectural wonder when I was hastily escorted to the Rose Palace but this is the first time I am seeing it in full. My path is covered in dappled sunlight from the overhanging willow trees and maids and servants alike bow when they see me. I almost want to pinch myself for it feels like I'm in a dream rather than reality. 

I am clutching Marie's hand since I don't know where the library is and it isn't long before we come to a stop before a grand, spiral building with guards in front. I stare at the tall structure in shock because it is the tallest building I have ever seen in this world.

"The royal library is quite impressive, isn't it your highness?" Finn asks, smiling at my small form bending over backward to see the entire library. The cool air inside the building is in stark contrast to the outdoor warmth and Finn quietly informs me that the temperature within is carefully regulated by magic so that none of the rare books crumble or yellow. 

The floor to ceiling is covered in shelves of books that extend higher than my eye can see. There hangs in the air, the ever-familiar scent of dust and paper, a constant in any library no matter which world. I wonder how the librarians here can possibly manage to remember where any of the books are in here. I wonder briefly how one would even manage to get a book from the shelves the same height as an average house but I notice a library custodian standing on a floating platform with a balcony that slowly goes up and down the shelf. 

Although I know it exists, I have not seen much magic and I can't help the grin sprouting on my face. I was a real sucker for Harry Potter and other fantasy novels, this is practically a dream come true for Maria! 

"Look! Look at that!" I saw in awe to Marie, pointing at the floating platform. I desperately want to ride it, but I'm sure they would let a child go on the potential dangerous contraption. The man on it, a custodian in a dull gray waistcoat with matching trousers, notices me on the ground and the platform lowers to the floor. His footsteps echo as he walks over to me and I can tell this man recognizes me. After all, there aren't that many other white-haired kids running around the palace that has been the hot topic of palace gossip.

"Your highness," he says nervously, dropping into a low bow. He stands back up straight in a snap and I notice he wears glasses that make him cute in a nerdy way. For the thousandth time, I lament my luck for being reborn as kid instead of as an adult. 

"I'm looking for some fun books to read, with many pictures in them," I say earnestly. "Can you take me there?"

I have no desire to read elementary level books, however, I must operate cautiously and don't want to raise suspicion as a 5-year-old reading books about the history of the Empire and the Holy Church. Marie waits near the grand entrance of the royal library and Finn follows the custodian and I as we meander deeper into the winding mazes of shelves. He stands a good enough distance away that I am certain he cannot hear me when I tug at the custodian's hand and smile.

"Sir," I say, chuckling at how shocked he is to have royalty touch his hand. In truth, I am no better or worse than him, I would have gotten my hand cut off if I had touched him two weeks ago. 

"I actually lied to you earlier." 

His brows crinkle together. 

"O-Oh, your highness." He has no idea how to respond. 

"I'm going to wait here because I am tired of walking, so can you please get my books for me. I do like books with pictures, but I like history books even more."

I hold his hand a little tighter and pout at him a little bit. 

"People will think I'm weird if they see I'm reading adult-level books and I don't want to get made fun of," I say pleadingly. 

I can tell I struck a nerve in the custodian because his back straightens and his face goes serious. 

"There is nothing strange about reading advanced level books, no matter what anyone says. It just means you are an intelligent child!" he says emphatically. Perhaps he faced this kind of teasing as well when he was younger. 

"But I still don't want anyone to know, so when you get me a few books about the Empire and the Holy Church, can you please stack a few children's books on top so no one sees them? Pretty please?" 

He nods vigorously. 

"As you wish, your highness," he replies and his long legs quickly carry him out of view as he fetches my books. 

Finn approaches when he is gone and asks what we discussed. I cheerfully tell him to mind his own business. 

Before long the sound of footsteps echoes once more and the custodian emerges from the narrow space between two bookshelves with a healthy stack of books. But tall Finn stepped ahead of me and scooped them out of the custodian's arms with ease as if he were carrying a pile of feathers. 

"Thank you, Mr. Librarian!" I say with a smile. The man smiles back and he looks friendly enough. I'm sure we will become better acquaintances as I intend to visit often.

I had thought that my life couldn't get worse when I walked in on my fiance cheating on me with my best friend. But after a series of unfortunate events, I opened my eyes in a world that I had only read about in a webnovel, the Erudian Empire, ruled under the domineering, bloody reign of Emperor Helio. 

The worst part?

I wasn't even the main character! Yun took a deep breath and opened the door and carried the suitcase in. Then he remembered. An adult woman who was like faeries from western fantasy-erotism stories.

After sitting the couch in the sofa for a minute, his eyes closed in front of a beautiful woman named Eyşan and fell asleep.

He slept through the whole night, and there were no odd bullshit like the books have a lot. He just slept and thats all. 

Meditating during the storm was perhaps not a good idea.

Gong Yun dreamed a stupid dream. It was not like divine enlightenments from cool movies. 

In his dream, he fought strange creatures and evil people who also use magic. But Yun was really special among them. He was flying over the lightnings and he was using it like Zeus's Punishment. He was like a god of lightning from the Greek Mythology. But all the fantasy style magic techniques were too fancy. Yun even found them a little bit not-scientific (!)

For the first time in his life, he hated people he didn't even know. He fought and killed for a long time with the desire to smash his enemies.

He was shocked when he woke up sweaty and excited at the same time. This was a first and hopefuly last time in his life that, people was dying in his dreams.. in his hands.

There was nothing wrong with his body, and all the fatigue or nonsense left by yesterday's ridiculous magic-meditation was gone. His element level in electricity was still too high compared to before. But thats all.

When Yun checked the room and saw that no one was there, he raised his hand. The bright sparks began coming out of his fingers. 

A few seconds later thick electric currents surrounded his hand. He used to extract these currents on his hands but he couldn't control them like this. Actually he wasn't controlling them, it was not like the stories or movies showed. It was kind of a instinct. He was sharing a common desire with this elements. He was also it was controlling the currents-energy-feelings together. 

It was a work of two sided, not one like the books told over uncountable pages. But it was impossible of a normal human to control a different entity, enegy or system of different logic. How a human can control a thing that wasn't from the same breed. 

So Yun was sharing his everything with this energy and it was controlled by itself at the same time. It was like his master Eren said. Elements were almost like entities with thoughts, feelings and desires.

One day ago, he was just a normal human. Yes, he knew a little bit magic, but he was definitely a human! 
But one day later, he started to understand how the elements, rules, chaos in our Dna and all the logic of this planet works. He even felt that this planet was too hard to understood by these pitiful humans with scientific identities. He felt pity for all the scientific people in the modern society. 

"They were trying to row on a planet without water.* (By T)

Now, as he wished, thick and abundant sized electric currents were traveling in his body like little snakes. On the whole hand, then his arm, even his shoulders, and his chest, they were moving in and out of his body.

Yun tried to close his eyes and feel the electrical energy around him.

"Come on. I've developed so far and you are still the same? There are still slight amounts. Why?"

Gong Yun didn't feel better, he didn't see better, and he couldn't make a special connection to electricity. After he tried, he felt as little and limited amounts of electricity as it used to be. 

Maybe meditating under a big storm was the only shortcut of electric cultivation. But it was too risky. Also there were too many work to do on the coming days.  He frowned after remembering the immigration work of other planet. While thinking about Eren, Yun remembered the sexy mother he forgot completely.

At that very moment, when he thought of it, he rushed into the backroom. 

He was relieved to see Eyşan, who had covered up in the new covers. He even sighed for a few seconds and watched the beautiful woman's sweet sleep, and closed the door.

There was so much to do that day.

He went down the stairs and saw that the old grandma was awake at the market. He took a small bottle of water and started walking quickly.

First he stopped by the bazaar and stopped at the post office. He took the package his mother sent him.

Then he stopped by a restaurant where he had forgotton a book in last week. He took the book and chatted with an old friend who just opened the restourant. 

At 9 o'clock he sat down in a small cafe and had a cup of tea. At that time he was making a list of things he would get for his master on his phone. After half an hour of hard thinking, he finally finished the little research with the strange book he brought with him. But..

*I died as thinking what would've happened if I lived one more time.

Without any friends, without laughter at all, and I'm sure I've never been loved.

No god, no angel, no family, no friend.. Nobody helped me! --- Not even one tiny miracle showed like the movies and books showed us!

I realized that there is no miracle, good luck or perfect coincidences in this life. I gave up of those crap.

I thought everything would end. I'd sleep and rest forever. What a perfect plan for my eternity ha?

That was the fucking plan!

But no. Like Damn Earth wasn't enough, now I must live in this f*cking planet full of "Fantasy Crap".

Everyone keep talking about magic and miracles. "Just shut up would you!"

The village people who talks about evolution, the children blowing fire from their mouth, and the dragons I hear---all of these seem to mocking with me."Don't come closer you piece of.!"

I just want a normal life. I'm sorry but keep away your magic and secondhand miracles from me.  "Wait, I'm not sorry."

'The cutest in the Omniverse?' The being asked without any change in their tone of voice, making it seem like it wasn't an absurd question.

Though that was mainly due to its experience and multiple encounters of the absurd he had previously experienced from other candidates, there were things much more absurd that other candidates had asked or requested before.

'You can certainly become the cutest in the Omniverse, but unfortunately, the points required is higher than what you have and is actually even higher than what any other candidate had ever received.'

His enthusiasm did not decrease despite being told so as he only wanted to confirm the possibility as he wasn't stupid as to think that becoming the cutest was so simple.

"I'm alright with that, but before anything else can you elaborate on things like what world I would be going to, or would I also be able to choose it? Also, I'd like to ask how we would be sent into the world, will we be sent as a newborn or an adult? Can we choose what race we can become, also can we..." question after question was asked not about the abilities and powers he would be able to purchase but about the details on the world he would be going to and the procedures before going.

He knew that abilities, powers, and skills were the most important when going to another world since the majority of protagonists in these types of stories are unfamiliar with hardships and would have immense difficulty adjusting to such a different environment where death is extremely common, though he was imagining typical fantasy worlds with medieval level of technology and human rights, but he knew that the second most important thing was the beginning, where everything starts.

Of the novels he's read, part of them would have the protagonist start in a favorable situation or location such as in the middle of a field with a road leading to a nearby city, or starting off as the child of noble, or even just having overpowered abilities at the start. The other part would be the novels he actually enjoys such as evolution novels where the protagonists start off as the weakest and useless of monsters and have to fight their way through life-threatening monsters to reach the top to survive.

With his experience in reading all those novels, he had asked all those questions and started formulating a plan on how to take advantage of the start of his new life. Midway through his question, the being had interrupted him with an answer he should have expected if he had remembered what they had said near the start.

'Candidate should be pleased to know that all that you have asked is possible due to being included as what you are able to purchase, we understand the importance to the start of your new life and also the reluctance to spend your points on a seemingly temporary thing such as your beginnings.

'We have thus decided to gift a budget of points to all candidates to be spent on the world you desire, how you would be transferred such as becoming a newborn as keeping your current body, the state of your physical being such as being young or old, and the location you would be transferred at, you may also choose the general circumstances of your birth, such as being born into a wealthy or poor family.

'Things such as becoming other races will also be supported by the budget as we do not wish to limit our candidates, and of course, you may use your own points outside of the budget if needed'

His mind was racing as he was thinking of a million things confirming that there were little to no limitations on what he could choose, so he went for the classics.

"Okay then... can you find me a world where it is multiple times the size of the earth and has technology and magic mixed in to create magitech? So kinda like a sci-fi slash fantasy world with monsters and space exploration..."

'Multiple worlds of the description have been found and before you can ask, I am not allowed to reveal the number of worlds of that description due to the rules, at this point you are able to randomize the selection and the world chosen will be locked in. You are also able to add on more points if you were to randomize you would be using 13% of your allocated budget'

13% was still an acceptable amount so he decided to add more details.

"Uhm... Alien civilizations are common?"

'22%, possible worlds have been reduced by 64%'

It was a little surprising that just adding that would increase the cost by 9% and decrease the number of possible worlds by two thirds, but he didn't plan to adjust it as he didn't want to be limited to one world, that was also the reason why he had wanted his starting world to be bigger than the earth.

"Speaking of which, what's the size of the smallest world in amongst all of them if you can tell me?"

'It is 2.032 times bigger than the earth as I assumed on your behalf when you said multiple times bigger'

"Still too small for my liking... Increase it to a minimum of... 3.5 times?" He asked unsurely, though he wanted to go to other planets, he wanted to train himself on his home planet first by experiencing every inch of it.

'Cost increased to 24.5%, possible worlds reduced by an additional 7%'

Luckily it seems like size doesn't matter too much when it comes to selecting a world. Not wanting to spend any more of his free budget of points, he decided to stop there and randomize the world.

"You can go ahead and randomize now...please lady luck...don't screw me over..." While praying to the mischievous god of luck, he hoped that the world he was going too didn't have any unexpected variables, like if the only sapient creatures on his home planet were goblins, he didn't want to conform to goblins definition of cute!

He had slightly regretted not adding the detail that humans are one of the main sapient creatures as he had stupidly assumed that every world would have one, but it was too late now as a big 'Randomizing World...' was seen on his middle monitor.

After a tense couple of seconds which felt like forever, A big blue and green planet that looked totally different from earth appeared on his monitor, it had many more continents than the earth with most of them being even larger than the ones on earth, along with a countless number of islands that covered the planets like pimples.

The two other screens on the monitor lit up as it showed the statistics of the world such as being called Vanterio being 5.49 times bigger than the earth, the major countries in the world, the basic history of the world that even a child would understand and other tidbits of useful information.

It also showed the sapient races in the world which included humans and... humans and...?

On the list that stated 'Sapient Races' there was only one line which said humans, though he was extremely relieved that he didn't get an unexpected race, as even becoming an elf or dwarf would have been fine, he still wanted a diverse number of sapient races since he had asked for a fantasy mixed with sci-fi world.

As if reading his thoughts, the otherworldly being spoke up. 'Sadly, since you did not specify on other races being included, or any race for that matter, I had included worlds that had one main race. The candidate should know that despite the fantasy genre including other races as the norm, fantasy is a much more broad term than that and thus did not affect the search results too much.

He flinched upon hearing so, thinking back on it he has read tons and tons of fantasy books where humans were the only race, such as a novel set in the modern-day where people suddenly get magic powers. He sighed from his blunder and could only plan to be more careful in his wording next time.

'While all I have said is unchangeable, It does not mean that there are no other sapient races in your world, as the information you see is only the basic complementary information we are obliged to provide, and you are able to gain more by spending more of your budget.'

"Wait, so you're saying that other races may exist but they're hidden? Like living in closed-off communities or obscure places?" His eyes turned wide as a bit of hope returned to him as the words reached him.

'Emphasis on 'may exist' as there is still a possibility that they do not, would you be willing to spend some points to find out?'

Though he really wanted to know if other races existed, he didn't want to waste his precious free points and also thought it could be fun if he discovered them on his own rather than cheating.

"No thanks, now let's move on to the next thing, I want to become a newborn in Alcavia, with my parents decently rich and influential, with my gender being female, like as female as possible!!" He increased his volume when asking to be born female to emphasize the importance of that criterion.

Alcavia was an isolated continent and country with a decent distance from other continents and is also renowned for being the most diverse and magitechnologically advanced country in the world due to the greatest minds in the world gathering there.

'From your description, I have set a criterion for your family member to be in the upper-middle-class in relation to Alcavia as a working-class Alcavian citizen could easily become an upper-middle-class citizen in the majority of the world.' 

"I knew it was a great country from the basic information but wow... that puts things in perspective, the cost should be a lot then, how much would it be inclusive of what I already used?" 

'A total of 117.13% of the budget would be used which would exceed the allocated budget, you are able to supplement the exceeded amount with 1.93% 'of your normal points'

"No thanks, I wouldn't even use 0.1% of my normal points no matter the situation, lets compromise and have you decrease the criterion so the range is from the lowest point of the spectrum of the upper-middle-class and above until the budget used reaches 90%"  

'You are of the majority that refuses to use your normal points for your beginnings so I can understand, for your new criterion, I have adjusted it accordingly and there are much fewer results from before'

"Lowest point of the spectrum or not, it's still upper-middle-class, now for the last 10% of my budget... I'd like loving, kind and unrestrictive parents, as much as 10% allows." The reason he wanted that criterion was not due to his previous upbringing. While his parents may not have been the most loving or kind, they properly did their jobs and parents and cared for him a good amount, and he had properly respected and appreciated their effort to raise him, even if he could not say that he loved them very much.

He added that criterion as he wanted to be unrestricted in his actions in his new like and wanted a loving family that properly appreciated a cute little girl, as that was his destiny, nothing will change it. 

'Criterion has been added, would you like to randomize now?' 

"Do it!"

MC: So I can choose anything within my allocated points and imagination?

???: Yes, from Almighty Systems to Evolving Weaponry, to Dominating Cultivation Techniques, anything you desire.

Their trip home was not as quiet as Lawrence expected it to be. As soon as they were adopted Suzanne instantly started chattering in an almost incomprehensible speed with Lissandra, who managed to keep up with her. So, while, Suzanne and Lissandra kept talking, Lawrence and Wallace sat in silence as Wallace drove them to their new home. 
    A few hours passed before Lawrence and Suzanne were introduced to their new home, which was a condo in the apartment complex where Lissandra, Suzanne, and Lawrence had originally met. As soon as they entered the condo, Lawrence was shocked to see that their actual living space was pretty bare. There were just the bare essentials in the living room and didn't seem like a house for a family of four which included two children. This resulted in Lawrence giving both Lissandra and Wallace questioning looks, which both of them noticed whispering that they would talk later. 
    Lawrence voiced his agreement quickly, following Suzanne who had decided to explore their current living space. She quickly ran around the room, enthused that she wasn't sharing a cramped space with 10 other hateful children. The next few hours flew by quickly with both Lissandra and Wallace properly introducing themselves, and with the "house" tour. After eating a homecooked dinner together; which both Suzanna and Lawrence loved, they quickly put an exhausted Suzanne to sleep while Lawrence stayed awake intent on interrogating the couple.
    "So, are you having a good time?" Lissandra asked as she and Wallace sat across from Lawrence in the living room.
    "I'm happy that Suzanne is finally enjoying herself, and that she is happy. As long as she remains like that, I will stay content" Lawrence answered while activating his soul sight. The ability would allow him to determine if they were speaking the truth, by monitoring the minuscule amounts of sin that a person would accumulate when they lied. 
    "That isn't a very healthy way to live, finding happiness in another's happiness is great, but it shouldn't be the only thing that anyone should be focused on, especially when you're a child," Wallace said slightly sadden by Law's dismissal of his feelings.
    "That may be true, but my priority is making sure that my little sister is happy and healthy. She has gone through enough hardships as it is, I will make sure to protect her no matter the expense" Law stated making his viewpoint clear. Lissandra and Wallace looked at each other for a few moments, before releasing a soft sigh.
    "I happy that you put so much importance on your little sister, but I hope as you get to know us, you eventually let us take some of your burdens," Lissandra said softly, and while looking directly into Law's eyes hoping to convey her sincerity. Law was stared at her for a few moments with his soul sight fully activated and a stone-cold look on his face. His gaze unnerved both Lissandra and Wallace because it was as if he could see their very soul, but Lissandra maintained her gaze knowing that she couldn't back down. After a few moments, Law released a soft chuckle while smiling softly. 
    "Yeah, maybe in the future" Lawrence with his expression softening seeing no deceit.
    "Could you explain to me why the house is so bare. I'm sorry if I'm being blunt, but I can't quite understand how you expect to raise a child in this environment. I mean, you don't even have a tv or any toys for Suzanne to play with." Lawrence asked trying to discern Lissandra and Wallace's financial status. Even if his questioned seemed harsh, he had to know so that he could plan for the future.
    "We're planning to move in two weeks. Initially, this place was full of different things, and even a kid's room that would be fit for one child. But we decided that living in a condo wouldn't be the best environment to raise children; especially with the lack of space. So, we decided to buy a house in a suburb around 3 hours away from here, while selling this place. So, we sold most of the items in this place, and planned to allow you and Suzanne decorate your rooms in the new house." Wallace answered stunning Lawrence. 
    'So, they really will be able to take care of us, at least financially' Lawrence thought.
    "I'm sorry for judging you harshly in the beginning, I hope you will forgive me" Lawrence apologized while bowing his head.
    "That isn't your fault, though I certainly did expect your level of maturity. I hope that in the future, you will come to see us as your parents, or at least as your family. Even if you aren't there yet, we want you to know that we truly do love you." Lissandra answered while Wallace nodding along with a small smile on his face.
    "Thank you" Lawrence muttered stunned by the fact that they truly meant everything that she said. Lawrence quickly excused himself and went to his and Suzanne's room, and laid on an empty twin bed. 
    'Maybe I won't have to be so alone here. I can truly have my own, happy little family' Law thought to himself as he went to sleep. 
    The next few months were great for the small family. They had successfully moved into their new house, and Suzanne and Lissandra had gone crazy decorating their new home. Suzanne had painted her entire room a pink, with decorative black flowers, while Lawrence had left the room into original white color and piling his room high with books that covered topics ranging from high-level physics textbooks to lighthearted fantasy novels. This venture drew Wallace's interest, and with his help, his room was pack to the brim with his library. 
    Lawrence had given up trying to appear as a normal child in the first week of living the couple, and they had wholeheartedly accepted he had the maturity of an adult. This didn't, however, stop Lissandra from forcefully gushing over him, and always showering his love and attention. Wallace, on the other hand, had tried to treat him as an adult while still trying to be there for him. 
    Suzanne was pretty much the happiest girl in the world, she had all the attention and love that any child desire in extravagant amounts, resulting in a child that makes Joy from inside out seems depressed in comparison. 
    The final action that broke down his emotional walls, was the day that Lissandra and Wallace threw Suzanne a surprise birthday party. At that moment he experienced a feeling that he never knew before, and he realized that he had a family of his own.
    Moving on, whilst all of this was happening, he didn't neglect to increase his strength. Creating a perfect cultivation technique was something that was going to take him years, to finish because of the sheer volume of different cultivation techniques that were created in the DE universe. Instead of waiting for that to finish and leaving himself vulnerable, he instead decided to multitask. He left 3 of his 5 memory partitions on reading through the millions of cultivation techniques, while another was constantly circulating his soul strengthening technique. After all, an increase in his soul strength would not just increase the number of memory partitions he had access to but, also gave him access to abilities such as telekinesis. But the only problem with was that soul strength increased slowly, and despite reaching the Xiantian stage in a few months, to breakthrough farther would require a few years of world.
    So instead of relaxing, he started researching mind arts because, despite mind arts lacking in attacking power, it was much for diverse and helpful in his current situation. It would allow him to protect his mind while enforcing his ability to keep his secrets. Thus, his last memory partition was reading through around a couple thousand mind techniques.
    'Life's good' Law thought while watching tv in their living room, while his sister doodled in a picture book in front of him. 
    Suddenly the doorbell was rung drawing everyone's attention. Wallace was currently out at work, while Lissandra was home because she had taken a vacation.
    "Law get the door" Lissandra yelled from the kitchen while beginning to cook lunch.
    "Fine, mom" Law yelled back causing a smile to appear on Lissandra's face. As he walked to the door, he was wondering who it could be because Wallace had said that they didn't have anyone coming over today. As he opened the door, he was greeted by a beautiful redhaired woman that looked like a younger version of Aunt May, from Spiderman homecoming.
    "Hello, I'm May Parker, I just wanted to come to introduce myself to my new neighbor," the beautiful redhead said while smiling. 
    'What the f*ck' Law thought looking at one of the most pivotal characters in the Spiderman franchise.

Dear diary
The dream return again, a longing dream of a past that will never come again. Oh how desperately do I wanted that feeling once more, I wonder in this world "She" exist and if "She" does then would this mean that I could once more have the love I so desire?

This time the dream had a bit of an fantasy element to it but regardless for a time within that dream, I once more felt the desire for love. Anticipation of love, giving of love, delirious love, lusty love, wandering love, obsessive love and hatred of love. The torrent of emotions bomabard upon me with pause nor rest, and in that moment I forgot the pain, the agony of love.

In the dream, I dreamed that I was a human in a kingdom of giants, the giant king adopted a daughter of the human descent and I was her friend. For a time, my stay at the kingdom of giant was well received, everyone was nice and I help them in certain tasks that they were too cumbersome to do. The giants height make certain tasks and work rather hard due to the size of the tasks. I even help made some lotion for the women's skin, I know right? So totally isekai cliché. The sisters took to me well, one of them show unrestrained familiarity with me, she was a tomboy I think. The familiarity was to the point of inviting me to sleep alongside her in a tent. In the dream, time is not restrain by reality, so seconds become days, and minutes become weeks, over time our friendship grew into a love of sort. 
She and I would fondle each other beneath the blanket in the castle garden as the star shine above, we enjoy intimacy cuddling, feeding each other. Her name was Bebi, and I was so in love with her. Naturally, to marry a king's daughter even though adopted, certain ranks and some dowry are required.
Fortunately, due to my helpfulness and certain products, I attain a rank of Count in the giant king's court. In my dreamed I married the girl I love, we had endless intimacy, all day and everyday. Alas, love is cruel, love is an illusion, the past is past and it can never return because I woke up.

Today, never have I felt so strongly the desire to return to the US sooner than later to confirm my hypothesis that "She" exist in this reality, and maybe, just maybe I can finally attain that which I have lost in the other reality. Alas, the flight quarantine is still in effect, and there are no flight ticket back to the States, so.....once again I must wait.

Today, I've decided to test my attractiveness in this reality once more. In the other reality, if someone like me walk down on the street, nobody would give a fuck about, the most they would do is probably say hi. Yet in this reality that I am in, my route are generally met with someone pointing and taking picture, and the ones that does it were always girls. Am I really that handsome? Is it possibly one of those world where ugly is handsome and vice versa? No.....surely not!

Because if ugly is handsome, then why do all these billboard model has muscular body and somewhat handsome face? I must be getting paranoid....yes, that must be it!

I decided to go a cafe today and the reaction I received from the female customers was interesting. Naturally, I sweat as I am not a regular to the temperature and weather of Vietnam. I sweat so much that my shirt would stick to my body, and interestingly this is somehow akin to a girl not wearing a bra, because the female customers would take a glance here and there, checking me out. To be absolutely honest, this is a new feeling, not a really bad one but somehow I can feel as though I can related to the monkeys in the zoo that get watched by human visitors. 

Having enough of the attention, and the fact that nobody seem to be interested in a coversation with me or something I decided to leave and headed to a nearby bookstore. There are few public libraries in Vietnam, but they require certain membership to enter, unlike library in the States where one can simply go in to read or browse the contents without needing membership, although one would need a library card for the borrowing of contents and usage of the computer. So, most people just go to bookstore and read from the books there. As with some bookstores, there would be a section where adult magazines are available, and one can sometimes see guys hanging around there to browse through the adult content. Unfortunately of course, this bookstores I went to did not have such section. So I decided to go to a different place, one that I had have an of experience of going to, a long long time ago, a sex toy shop!

Ordering an Uber like service known as Grab, I decided on my destination and arrived at an address near the sex toy shop. As I open the door, it was a refreshing feeling of the cool air conditioning compare to that of the blinding heat outside. Unfortunately, I was Not Prepare! If there is a heaven, then there must be hell because I was greeted with a sight of LGBT atmosphere, posters of barely dressed muscular men in speedos and mosaics private parts adorn the walls of the shop. One posters had a guy in a glitter pink shiny speedos, wearing a pair of bunny ear. Rows of dildos and sex toy for women lean against the walls, and there were two, maybe four different women who loitering around browsing through the merchandise.

However that wasn't yet the worse part. As I make my way in, everyone was looking at me, including this one lady behind the counter, it was as if time was frozen and I'm an exotic creature that never been seen before.
In the end, I never did went and talk to the other customers, there was just something unnerving about this whole thing, the way they look at me, the way they glancing spying at me giving me an image of a dog staring heavily at a piece of steak just quite literally turn me off. I went bought some condom and left the store and on the way home I buy myself a small vanilla cream cake.

Well.....at least it's not a total loss today :D
