One of the bad things about village life was that it would get very dark and windy during the night. Plus Zhou Yu's house was not neighboring with anyone. The closest neighbor was still very far from him. So it would become even quieter and secluded.

Just going to the toilet, Zhou Yu would always feel the cold wind blowing behind him and the shadows of the tree branches were moving in strange patterns as if they were the claws of some strange monsters. It made his heart beat rapidly.

Quickly returning to his room and switching on the light, with the bright light, he was finally able to dispel the fear and carry on the game.

Different to the CG animation, after entering the game, the graphics quality of the game clearly reduced at least two levels. Although it was still in 3D, the characters models of the game were very rough. It was just like Grand Theft Auto III.

But this was actually quite reasonable. If the gameplay graphic was as good as its CG animation, then the game would be as good as those high-quality games. It would not be a tier-two game.

The reason why it was compared to GTA 3, was that this game also seemed to focus on the open world, The level of the detail of the game was also similar.

The 3D version of Luhua village was much more interesting than the 2D version of it. Entering the villagers' houses would always give Zhou Yu a feeling of adventure. It was just that he had never been to other villagers' houses before, so he didn't know if the internal of the villagers' houses were similar to the game.

The game story started out very slow. The group of troubled students was playing around in the village, enjoying the scenery of the countryside after they got off the bus.

Camping, BBQing on the riverside, signing, and dancing, it could be said that the story was not scary again all. But instead, it had a "disgusting" romantic feeling. Only after a statue was accidentally discovered by a girl, did the story started to move toward the irretrievable abyss of terror.

The strange heart changing story, the eerie sacrifice ritual, a slovenly Taoist... Many clues and characters with different personalities constantly emerged one after another. It slowly wove a lifelike terrifying story.

As the game progressed, the troubled college students began to die one after another gradually. Every death CG animation would push the atmosphere of menace to another level.

Zhou Yu had been playing for the game for two days now. Although he still hadn't finished the game, the main storyline of the game gradually became clear to him.

The main story of the game was adapted from the story "Judge Lu" in the book "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio". After the adaptation, the story became the occult tale that had been told by the villagers of Luhua village for many generations. The deaths of the main character's classmates were all because of this tale.

The people who were dead would have some parts of their internal organs gone missing. Heart, liver, lung, kidney, spleen, etc… the missing body parts were even enough to make a new person.

Based on the current clues, the most suspicious person would be the slovenly Taoist, however, from an experienced game player's perspective, this Taoist should be friendly like Gandalf in the lord of the rings.

Once Zhou Yu started playing the game, it was very hard for him to stop playing it. Especially when he couldn't finish it. So he even stopped writing the light novel and fully focused only on playing the horror game for several days.

Just when he was concentrating on playing the game, his bedroom door was suddenly opened. Although it was in the daytime, it still made Zhou Yu, whose attention was completely attracted by the scary game, suddenly screamed like a little girl. But Zhou Yu's reaction made both Zhou Shuyu and He Yuanyuan burst out laughing.

"Haha, why you scream like a little girl, don't tell me that you are watching something that is not appropriate for kids."

Hearing what she said, He Yuanyuan moved closer and removed the headsets so the audio could be played through speakers. Then both girls started to watch the CG animation as if they were watching a horror movie.

'How brave are they. Are they not supposed to be scared of horror movies?' Zhou Yu was speechless. Perhaps they had already seen many horror movies, otherwise, they would not have applied for the directing course.

It was indeed the ruined temple near the village, even the old tree next to it was exactly the same.

Some time ago, they both even went to that place to check if they could use the place to make a movie. The success of the aircraft launching video made them can't hold back their passions for directing a new movie, and they had been thinking about making a new movie idea every day.

However, they didn't expect that they hadn't even started filming, the otaku who refused to leave his house already had a finished product.

It was not a bad CG animation. The background music was very tense, and the visual effect was also top-notch.

Under the old style lanterns, the scary murals were looming on the screen, making the entire animation looked more realistic and terrifying.

The entire CG animation didn't show any signs of ghosts, but it still could still make people sweat in fear. It meant that it was a good horror movie.

Only after they played the game, were they shocked to find that they had become the characters in the game!

In this horror game, Zhou Shuyu's character and He Yuanyuan's character played important roles. The former one was the wife of the scholar Zhu Erdan, the later one was the ghost that swapped her head with the wife of Zhu Erdan.

Seeing the characters that looked exactly like them, embarked on a bizarre adventure in the game, causing an irresistible sense of immersion. Although both newbie players struggled at the beginning, eventually completed the first game PC game in their lives.

Of course, when they encountered some areas that they really didn't know to play through, they would ask Zhou Yu this otaku for some advice.

They didn't know how to tell if a game was good or bad. But they really like the story of the game. There were sad but beautiful love stories, scary story plots, surprising twists, and endings... All of them made them marvel that it was such a good movie script.

It seemed like that otaku wasn't bragging about himself when he said that he was a writer. He indeed had that kind of talent.

"Yuanyuan, what do you think if we use this story as our movie script?"

"Don't be silly, they must have worked very hard on this game, and they probably want to sell it. There was no way that they would give the script to us."

He Yuanyuan could still think sensibly. Because she knew that making games usually required a lot of investment. Plus there were around 30 minutes of CG animation in total, so there was no way that they would do it for free. At least, they would need to get their investment back.

However, what she didn't expect was that Zhou Shuyu was right this time.

Zhou Yu, a reclusive otaku, who did not like to go out of his house, was one day forced out of his house by a series of unexpected events.

Haruto stood straight after he washed his face. He looked into his reflection in the mirror. There, he saw a young man with short black hair and average face. It's not to the point that people call him ugly nor handsome. It's between the two, the face of an average mob character.

Despite that he possessed a well built body. He was extremely athletic as he trained his body to its limit everyday. 

He joined many clubs to find what he enjoyed the most. He joined Kendo, Karate, Judo, Basketball, Track and Field, etc. but he didn't find what he wanted to do. Well he did enjoyed it a little, but in truth, deep inside him he already know what he wants the most.

He wants a very thrilling adventures where he would discover a lot of new things. But there's almost no place that's left for him to discover in this world except the world under the sea. He always love to watched an adventure genre movies where the main character would discover a path below the earth. He also watched those documentaries about the new planets that were discovered or the new species found under the sea. 

A lot of time had passed and he's a university student. 

Haruto nodded at his look. He turned around and wear a casual clothes. Picking up his bag, he exited his room and walked straight to the university he's attending. 

He seriously listened and took down notes from the lectures of his professors. During the lectures, he felt his phone vibrated which was inside his pocket. 

He looked at it and saw his friend sent him a message.

'Wanna hit a karaoke?' 

He read the message and sent his reply. It's really boring and he wanted to do something to passed his time. After that, he went back to listen to the professor.

"Hais... Rin dump you!" 

A man in his early twenties said while passing Haruto a cigarette. He's Haruto's friend since highschool, Iori Matsuda.

"Yeah." 

Haruto nodded and received the cigarette. He put it in his mouth and lit it up. 

"It's hard to find a girl that's compatible to you." 

Iori said while blowing a smoke. He already introduced a lot of girls to Haruto but those girls didn't even stay at him for a long time.

What to say? 

Haruto have lot of good qualities but there's one thing that girls don't like about him. How to say this? Girls always says that he's a chuuni. 

Chuuni? Yeah, as in 8th Grader Syndrome. 

Iori sometimes found Haruto spacing out muttering things like "I want to go to another world" or "I will accomplish that things" or something like "I feel like I've been born in the wrong era". 

He knows that Haruto was an adventurous man that's why he decided to recommend him to become a Seaman. But Haruto declined and said that he just want to watched a lot of movies and write books. 

He doesn't really get Haruto. In highschool, Haruto joined a lot of sports club and excel in it but he eventually quit. And then, Haruto started watching movies then anime. Then, he would get some news that Haruto tried bungee jump and other extreme activities alone. These news freak him out and Yuki. All in all, Haruto did many things that he haven't tried up until now. 

"How about Yuki?" 

"Nope, she's a friend, I don't want to ruin our friendship." 

Haruto said. He like Yuki, as a friend. He doesn't have any romantic feelings for her so being a friend was enough for him. 

"Let's not talk about that! Let's go to karaoke and enjoy!" 

Iori shook his head. 

"Sure." 

Haruto followed behind him as both of them went to the nearest karaoke.

It's already dark when Haruto returned to his apartment. 

He then felt his phone vibrated. He checked and saw that someone send him a link to an app.

He tap the link and his screen turned black.

"What?! Don't tell me... It's a scam!"

After a few moments, the screen returned and there's a new app added to his phone.

"What?! Just like that I already installed the app!" 

He felt strange to this app. It has a mysterious feeling that he couldn't describe. 

Feeling this, he search the name of the app in internet. But no matter what he do he couldn't find the same app. Then, he checked the message on his phone and saw that it was already gone. 

"What the hell is this?" 

He muttered while looking at the small black serpent icon of the app. 

"God World Game...?"

It was the first time he heard this game. 

It must be some sort of virus, right?

The mysterious vibe he's feeling was urging him to tap the icon. 

"Well, there's nothing to lose." 

He said as he tap the icon of the game.

Once again, the screen turned black and row of words slowly appeared.

[Welcome to the God World Game!]

The words were written in a very plain font. 

Soon, the words disappeared and new words appeared.

[Checking the player's stats!]

A red light flashes from his phone. It scanned his body from head to toe.

"Wha-What the hell is that?!" 

He was surprised that he almost loosen his grip on his phone. 

Once again, words appeared in his phone but this words were different from before.

He saw his figure on the left and his stats on the right. He doesn't have any idea how the hell did this game know his name and his body figure.

No, don't tell me... that light from before scanned his body and base on that the game wrote his stats in numbers like in the other games.

"This...?"

Haruto looked at it with a frown. This game really have high features. Since, it doesn't hurt him he tap the words [Orlando Continent]. 

As soon as he tap his phone, it emitted a bright white light and covered his entire body. 

Swoosh!

The light disappeared in just a few seconds but Haruto also disappeared along with the white light.

In an unknown place, a white light appeared in the middle of a forest. It brought down a humanoid figure.

Thud!

"Argh!" Haruto held his head as he felt a slight pain. 

"What was that?"

He saw his phone on the ground. He reached out and picked it up. He put it inside his pocket before he stood up and scanned his surroundings. 

"Where am I?" 

His brain was working to its limit. Various ideas kept coming in his mind about his situation. 

He finally understood that he arrived in another world because of that strange game. 

"Isn't this what I want?"

He couldn't help but tremble in excitement. He checked his phone and saw something that he needs.

Haruto read with a frown on his face. He had an idea about what's happening in this world.

Zombie outbreak, huh?

It's like those movies that he watched before so he had a general idea what he should do. 

And the hint... He should find and kill some zombies before he dissect it. 

He doesn't have any weapon right now. So he have to be extra careful of his surroundings. The word "Mutated" made him feel unease. It mist those zombies and animals that's stronger than ordinary people. 

It's still daylight and it made him easy to exit this forest. 

In just 30 minutes, he arrived in the nearest city, the Galgon City.

Zombies were walking around everywhere around the city. The tall buildings looked like it were abandoned for a long time. Lights were flickering in some of the buildings. Trash were around and it smell like a rotten piece of meat. 

"Whoa! This looks really bad!" 

Haruto muttered as he hid his body at the entrance of the city. He observed the zombies and found that they were too slow. Swinging around while walking. 

Gulp!

Looking at the rotten corpse, he felt that he was about to puke everything that he ate this morning.

Haruto was bored of his everyday life. He wants to change something from him. 

He wants to go on adventures and discover new things. 

One day, someone send him a link to a game called [God World Game].

He installed the game thinking that it wouldn't brought him any harm. 

He wouldn't expect that this game would brought him a new things that he haven't experience before.

It was a weird feeling. Felt kinda like floating in a pool of warm water that stung like a cold breeze. I couldn't look around, I tried, but I was stuck lookin forwards. 

I ain't gonna lie, that shit was cool lookin. You know those videos people post on YouTube of how a wormhole would look?

It was just like that.

Course by this point I was cursin my buddy Hayden for droppin acid in my drink. Wouldn't be the first time he pulled some stupid shit like this.

Thing is, just when I thought I was just havin a bad trip and it's all end soon, that damned Monkey King popped up in front of me, grinning like a kid with a new toy.

"You're not hallucinating Jake. I'm giving you an adventure!" He then starting laughing again. I tried talkin back but, again, couldn't move.

I tell ya. I hate feelin helpless mor'n anything.

"Oh worry not Jake, you'll enjoy it! I won't leave you helpless." With that he pulled three hairs from the back of his head. Then he flicked his hand and a ring appeared. He touched the hairs to the ring and the hairs disappeared.

"There, you'll have three wishes. Use them well." He kept smilin while he did all that. I don't know why, maybe it's cause I'd seen all his movies, but that smile gave me the creeps.

"Hmmm..." Monkey King crouched down in front of me and scratched his head, lookin like he was thinkin bout somethin. "You're appearance should not be a problem, but the world you're from produces no Qi..."

All I could think was 'No shit, cause this ain't the movies.'

"*sigh*, I will just have to remake your body."

'You're gonna do what now?'

With that said, he smacked his forehead and opened his mouth. A little light came out, looked a lit up firefly. He flicked his finger and it flew at me. I panicked, but remember, I can't move. 

The little light goes into my forehead. Next thing I know a bunch of images, sounds, feelings, symbols, and lights start dancin around in my head.

"There, now you've got some basic knowledge, a storage ring, and three wishes from yours truly. Last but not least-" a round fruit, looked like a peach, appeared in his hand, "a new body!"

He shoved the peach lookin thing into my forehead too. That warm water feeling went away, actually, I couldn't feel a damn thing. Between all that stuff dancin in my head and now this peachy thing dissolving into what seemed to be numb-tingly sensations, I got a bit overwhelmed.

I blacked out. Last thing I remember, was that fuckin Monkey giggling.

"Wake Up!" 

Somethin's pokin me. 

"Do you think he's dead?"

"I dunno, poke him again." Poked again.

"Ugh, wh-" I rubbed my face.

"Waaagghh! Zombie!" "Run!" "Get the Elder!"

"What the shit?" I looked around. Blue sky, fluffy clouds, sun peaking out from behind them. 'This ain't my bed...'

I sat up quick. Truly looking around, I caught sight of a few kids running towards some buildings while screaming. There were some mountains in the distance. 

"Elder! Come quick! There's a dead guy chasing us!" 

'Am I dead?' I looked down, except for some funny lookin clothes, I didn't appear to be rotting...

*wooossh* 

I looked back towards the kids and caught site of something rising up from the village.

'What the fuck? Is that a person?'

As it got closer, it became clearer.

'Holy shit! That dude can fly!'

He landed next to the children and looked around all stern like with his hands up. Then he saw me and looked confused. He looked at the kids, then looked around again, and started walking towards me.

I tried to stand up, but my body was stiff, so I fell over. The guy started walking faster, still looking confused, but now also slightly concerned.

"Are you okay?" I looked up from the ground when he asked. That wasn't English. How did I know what he said?

"What?" Now I looked confused too. I finally managed to get standing. Then I noticed my headache.

Old dude was now about 3 meters away, looking me up and down like I was some sort of beast. Given his look, I looked at me too, checking my hands and then feeling my face.

No fangs, horns, claws or fur...

I crossed my arms and looked back at him.

Then I noticed he was looking behind me. So I looked behind me. Nothing.

"I'm... alright... where am I?" Since he wasn't talking I figured why not ask.

Apparently I startled him, cause he shook and took a step back before answering in a worried voice. "You're just outside of Ming Village."

I looked at him, looking at me, and again looked over my shoulder. Still nothing there. I raised an eyebrow and looked back at him.

"Is there something I'm not seeing, sir?" I was getting concerned now.

"Are you human?" He asked, raising his hands again. Is this dude crazy? Of course I'm human.

"As far as I know. Why?" This time I really was worried, did I miss something?

The guy didn't say anything this time, just looked at me like I was stupid. Then, condescendingly asked "Then was is that thing attached to you?"

Attached to me? I reached over my shoulder, nothing there. Then a though occurred to me. That fuckin Monkey said "new body", I grabbed my butt. Fuck. I have a tail...

I looked back at the other dude in horror, then ignored him. 

"That fuckin Monkey! I've never done anything to that cocksucker and he just up and decides to snatch me up and drop me in the middle of fuckin no where without any explanation! I'm gonna fuckin kill his bitch ass soon as I see him again. A tail? A fuckin tail? The fuck am I gonna do with a goddamned tail!"

I’d just gotten home from the bar.

After a shower and some food, I was kicking back on the couch watching some magic Kungfu flick on Netflix.

That Monkey king always makes me laugh.

I was half awake when I noticed the dude on screen looking at the audience, he seemed all serious.

Then I sat up straight. The dude was talking, to me. Wtf?!

“Jake, you ready for my next great mischief?”

I rubbed my eyes and then turned off the TV.

‘That’s it, no more kungfu tonight.’

I got off the couch and just as I turned toward the bed, the TV turned back on...

“You aren’t getting away that easy!” Monkey King laughed.

As I looked over my shoulder all I saw was a bright light and then darkness.

Abducted from his home in Texas. Jake now faces a world of magic, kungfu, prideful warriors, cold eyed women, and a long path back to his couch and favorite Bar.

Assuming he survives all that and the Antics of the Monkey King, hopefully, he will make it back.

"That is great! Just what we needed to make another floor!" excitedly said Five. He quickly added with a serious tone, "But don't do it again in the future. Attacking beasts, even if they are injured is dangerous. Remember that before you reach a high enough level, I would rather have you be observers! Even going out alone at night is already dangerous! If you keep encountering these situations, I would have to cancel your nightly excursions."

The harpies quickly lowered their heads, not knowing what to say. Clearly, they did not even attempt something dangerous but since the lie was already out, it was too late for regrets. 'Hmmp, you even scold us when we do something good... Master is really a mean person!' pouted Alice inside her heart.

"But still, these items can give us quite a bit of DP. Is there something you want?" asked Five in a softer tone. After giving them the stick, it was time to give them the carrot.

"Really? Can we get to watch more of the TV? Can we watch more Master Chef?" excitedly asked Alice.

During the three nights of being grounded at the dungeon, the harpies were restless and naturally, they ended up annoying Five. As a result, the latter had no choice but to take out things to entertain them and could finally have some peace as he showed them some movies.

There were no actual TVs in the dungeon, but the dungeon core could project a screen and display anything. Through the dungeon shop, he simply bought a few movies at the cost of 100 DP. The harpies immediately took interest in those; not only were the movies entertaining, but they also gave them an opportunity to take a glimpse at the real world.

However, the one downside of this was that Five had no other choice but to stay with them. He spent most of his time studying the different combinations of monsters for his dungeon, but he needed the dungeon core to do so. While the core could certainly do multiple things at once, with the background noise of the movies, Five could not help but eventually join the harpies into watching the TV. To him, it was just like procrastinating, but fortunately, there was no rush in building his dungeon; he could take his time and enjoy himself.

While just three nights had passed, the harpies had already found their own preferences. Alice naturally preferred action and adventure movies while Angela would prefer to watch some drama or romantic movies. As for Ariel, she preferred thriller movies.

They all had their own preferences but most of the time, they would all agree to watch the TV together and the middle ground they found was cooking shows. After the feast they had, the harpies became curious about what other delicacies there were that they could enjoy. Their everyday meal was already delicious but when looking at all the dishes from the shows, they would salivate and hope that Five would make another feast. 

With the few DP Five gave them every day, there was still a long way before they would be able to afford these dishes. Little did Five know that the harpies not only watched the cooking shows to satisfy their own interest but also because of a little harmless scheme put forward by Alice. Since they could not afford this type of meal, they simply had to tempt Five! And what better was there than to watch those shows right next to him? Based on Five's personality, Alice firmly believed that if they successfully tempted him, he would at least share with them. Who asked him to give them a taste of these delicacies? They simply could not be satisfied with normal food anymore and could only scheme to eat them again.

"No. Don't listen to Alice master! But we do indeed have a request. Is it possible to teach some crafting techniques to Angela?" asked Ariel as she pinched Alice, warning her to let her speak.

"Crafting?" asked Five as his face lit up. Indeed, crafting would be a good option for Angela. It was obvious that she did not enjoy fighting but that did not mean she was useless. Just like most popular RPGs, New Earth also had elements of crafting. It was normally meant for players but considering what Five had seen, it might be possible for NPCs to also learn it.

"Yes! If you look into the dungeon shop, there are many books that could be purchased to learn the basics of any crafting discipline. There are also recipes and plans that can be purchased!" continued Ariel.

"Oh?" Five nodded and looked toward Angela. The dungeon shop simply had too many items for sales for him to know about everything. He had been browsing through the shop since day 1 and had yet to uncover all of its content. At the moment, he was not only looking at the monsters he could purchase but also the skills he could acquire to build up his own character. Unfortunately, having a wide range of choices just made things harder for Five as there were simply too many skills.

Angela shyly stepped forward and spoke with a quiet voice, "yes master. If possible, I would like to learn some skills to still be useful…"

Seeing the shy harpy speak, Five immediately felt her sincerity. She genuinely wanted to learn some skills and contribute to the dungeon. Angela's case had been sitting at the back of Five's mind since that day. The harpies held a special place in his heart and even if Angela wanted to simply stay in her room and do nothing, Five would have allowed it. However, it seemed that she was eager to help and she had already found a way to do so! A faint warm feeling rose in Five's heart as he looked at Angela.

"Of course you can. There is no need to ask for my permission. As long as you like it, you can purchase anything related to crafting. What discipline do you want to learn?" 

"Eh… I am willing to learn anything… As long as it is not blacksmithing, you can choose for me," said the harpy as she tried to sound assertive.

"Anything but blacksmithing?" murmured Five. He did not know why she chose so but it was just a small detail. "Then what about alchemy? I think it would be very useful for us if you can make some elixirs."

"If it's ok with you…"

With a kind smile, Five opened his interface and immediately purchase two books; "Introduction to alchemy" and "Encyclopaedia of plants and animals". From their title, they were both appropriate for a beginner to try alchemy. He quickly handed them to Angela who hurriedly bowed.

"Learn these first. I will keep the items in my inventory for the moment. If you need them, just tell me. We can buy the raw materials from the shop but there are also a lot of herbs scattered in the forest. When you go out at night, try to collect some for your own experiment," said Five.

The harpy nodded and displaying a bright smile. She looked at the books full of anticipation. It will only be a few days later when she would face constant failure that she would realize that crafting was not that easy.

"This aside, we have another thing to show you, master," said Ariel. She quickly cupped her hands and approached Five.

The latter confusedly looked at her and responded by opening his hands. 

"Here," Ariel opened her hands, allowing a black feather to fall within Five's hands.

"What is this?" asked Five as he grabbed the feather. The black feather was relatively small, but it was clearly too large to come from an actual bird. 

"It comes from my wings. We discovered that we could pluck out one of our feathers. If we are not wrong, they also count as materials and can be used for crafting…" explained Ariel as she tried to avoid Five's gaze.

"From your wings?" Five's mind went blank. 'Weren't the harpies' wings considered as their private parts? I know that women like to compare themselves but what were they doing for them to even pluck out feathers.' A naughty thought crossed his mind as he quickly scolded himself for starting to have this type of thoughts. 'Better not think about how they discovered that…'

It was only after the initial dirty thought went away that Five realized the importance of the feather. He immediately looked at Dreidus who was quietly observing them.

"Do you know what that means Dreidus? What do you think?"

The lich moved his hands to his chin; he looked like he was caressing a non-existing beard. "If I am not wrong, the black feather should be an item obtained from the death of a harpy? So that means, it is possible to obtain the drops without killing the monsters?"

"That's also what I am thinking but is it just a coincidence?"

"What coincidence? We can also take out a feather!" exclaimed Alice as she showed a black feather and placed it into Five's hand.

Angela also looked through one of the pockets of her dress and took out a black feather.

"You girls… How could you be so reckless! Don't just pull out your feathers like that. Who knows if they can grow back?" exclaimed Five as he looked at the harpies with a worrying look.

"This is very interesting… Does that mean I can also take one of my bones?" asked Dreidus as he examined the feathers.

"Shall we investigate that? What about using a few skeletons to run some tests?" proposed Five.

As he heard that, Dreidus' eyes dimmed a little. The skeletons who were essentially under his commands were going to be sacrificed. While it was true that they were undead monsters and did not really feel any pain, Dreidus was still pained as he saw that Five was going to sacrifice his monsters.

However, he understood the importance of the test. They could obtain valuable information about the monsters and if Five had decided to sacrifice a monster not serving under him, he would have immediately agreed to it. The problem was that aside from the harpies who were special, there were no other monsters.

In the end, he knew what he needed to do: "No problem, I will immediately call a few skeletons so we can do some tests, or would you rather summon new ones?"

After being betrayed, framed and kicked down to the ground, our protagonist was sentenced to life imprisonment. But a few days later, a global disaster occurred, people from all nations migrated to underground refuges.

 "Let’s go, let’s go! One more!" With Zhao Yu raising his beer cup, the young blonde and the other raised their cup as well, and downed it all at once.
 "Muwahaha! Feels good!" Seeing the young blonde and the other finish their drinks, Zhao Yu laughed in satisfaction. The blonde’s name was Zhou Yang, and he was sitting with all the delinquents from Yuxi Alley. There was no friendship without conflict. Zhou Yang and the others had already become Zhao Yu’s loyal followers, and had already finished many special missions for him. Zhao Yu obviously did not treat them badly.  "I don’t know!" Shouhou said frankly. "It’s just a guess!"
 "Get outta here!" Zhou Yang cursed at Shouhou. "From another city, peh! I’d guess it was someone inside the bank! It’s called an inside job, get it? It’s a professional term!"
 "Why?" Zhao Yu asked curiously again.
 "Isn’t it obvious?" Zhou Yang slapped his chest. "It’s always like this in the movies, right?"
 "Keke…" Zhao Yu raised his empty cup at the two. "That’s enough, let’s just drink!"
 "Oh?" Zhou Yang glanced at Zhao Yu’s empty beer cup. "Boss, you don’t have any alcohol, let me add some for you!"
 "No need!" Zhao Yu laughed. "I’m toasting you guys with an empty cup! If you guys refuse, I can just use the beer cup to smash your guys’ heads!"
 Zhou Yang and Shouhou looked at each other, then immediately raised their cup and downed at once, spilling some beer on their clothes.
 "That’s it!" Zhao Yu smirked then changed the topic. "Guys, there’s something else I want to tell you! I’m pretty rich, so I want to do some business! Help me out. What should I buy?"
 "A chestnut shop!" Baldie immediately answered without a pause, "Sweetened chestnuts! I’ve done this business before, boss. You should open a chestnut shop! Get a good spot, Shunfeng street or Yuxi Alley, they both work!"
 "A barbershop!" Shouhou immediately followed. "I worked as a barber before, and even though my skill level was average, I definitely made money!"
 "It’s summer now," Zhou Yang answered. "You can buy a small swimming pool! I was a swimming coach. You can open a summer swimming class. I guarantee you’ll make enough for an iPhone!"
 "God! "Zhao Yu was suddenly speechless and immediately scoffed, "Do you guys have any ambition at all? I’m talking big business. Big, get it?"
 "Then…a big swimming pool?!" Zhou Yang asked in confusion.
 "Jesus." Zhao Yu nearly fell over in exasperation. He slammed the table in anger. "Bigger, okay? I’m talking millions! Huge businesses! Get it?" Clink, clang! suddenly there was a huge commotion as the group fell over in shock at the table.
 "Boss!" Zhou Yang was the first to get up. He latched onto Zhao Yu’s leg. "Are you a messiah sent by God? A few million? A few delinquents like ourselves…"
 "Who dares to say we delinquents are sly and selfish!" Zhao Yu feigned pride. "We, as delinquents, can also be honorable and generous! Other people look down on us, but we can’t look down on ourselves!" Within moments, Zhao Yu looked like he had gained a halo, as if his body was glowing in greatness. The way the delinquents looked at Zhao Yu had already turned to admiration.
 "How about this, you guys keep an eye out for me," Zhao Yu said. "See if you guys can find any good places for a bar, okay? A bar, a karaoke, a barbershop, I can do them all! Buying a storefront works, but borrowing one is the best."
 "Woah!" All the delinquents were in awe, swaying a bit in shock.
 Zhou Yang was the first to speak. "Boss, I really picked the right person to follow! We are truly taken care of by you. And to think we can do some huge businesses as well. Hahaha! A toast! What are we waiting for?" Everyone raised their cups and drank well into the night.
 Zhao Yu drunkenly returned home at 11:00 at night. He immediately fell asleep in bed, snoring into the night.
 The colleagues in the police station were still working tirelessly. In order to find the culprit of the bank robbery and the truth behind the vacuum-sealed female corpse, everyone was working their hardest! The truth was, it was not that Zhao Yu did not want to help his teammates solve the case, but he really was not in the right shape to do so. Whether it was investigating the crime scene or investigating a clue, his mind was currently a complete mess. He was unable to focus. But only Zhao Yu knew why. The truth was that it was because of the mysterious "Kun" hexagram.
 Who cared about the bank robbery? Or his two-hundred thousand yuan? The only thing Zhao Yu cared about was whether what happened to Qu Ping would fall upon him or his teammates. The reason for his constant fear and agitation was because he was worried that someone would plot against him or his teammates due to matters related to Zhao Qing. With this on his mind, he obviously had no energy to think about the complicated case at hand.

 With this off of his shoulders, Zhao Yu felt like he was about to collapse. He knew that in his condition, there was no way for him to investigate any cases, so he might as well go out and relax. He went and found Zhou Yang and the others. He drank until they were able to erase the remaining worry in his heart.
 The next day, Zhao Yu woke up before dawn, and after a hot shower, felt exceedingly relaxed. He pulled out a cigarette and lit it, thinking to himself confidently, "A new day has begun. Bank robbers, are you guys ready? Your nemesis is here. Muwahaha! A new hexagram…go, go, go!"
 Following a fit of violent coughing, the hexagram explanation started. Yet after hearing it, Zhao Yu’s confidence was completely shattered.
 The system read in a calm voice, "Kun-Kan Hexagram. Kun for earth and Kan for water…"
