During the earliest days of being with my future wife; I had many Tenshi learning stories and Succubus stories to read.  I made a short list of stories I thought would be inspiring or educational.  

Story telling would be an important part of my life during the child raising decades.

It was this adventure story that caught my sympathy more than the others.

People at work complain that the corporations expected so much these days.  How the people at the top get benefits and travel and fine meals.

As a woman in marketing, those things are a part of business travel.  So often, you reach a point where you hardly think to those nice things as 'nice' anymore.  They are constant formalities with a sales goal attached.

So it amused me when I was forced to take a vacation.  Something about 'new workplace' guidelines.
I landed a very nice itinerary for a bargain price.  Two weeks at an artificial island resort.  Far away from everything.  A true vacation.  Disconnected from constant marketing discussion and updates.

The story starts at an airport.  The last airport before reaching that freshly crafted Island.

All of my luggage was missing.  I only had what I was wearing.

There were Kiosk stores at the airport.  The prices were high (obviously).  The clerk made an earnest sales pitch to something very premium (the most deluxe model available).
The clerk waited with a fixed smile.  Her eyes down toward the counter.  Until they rang up the charges to my personal credit.  Then it a fast sequence of being registered as the official owner ( the garment actively initialized while touching my skin).

I had a new small travel bag with new essentials; and in it I had a Resort-Amorphic Adaptive Beach Towel.

I did not realize how lucky I was.  How that Artificial towel with artificial intelligence was going help me.  Because my vacation was about to reach multi-planar levels of trials and adventure.

On vacation, you can meet people well outside the usual. One business innovator makes his new friend a partner. Wealthy Clients can have perfect portraits. Hence, this Harry Potter Fan-fiction is like that and my new original work, Exalted Warlock is like that as well. So, if you do not like that, go somewhere else, and stop bitching. 

What I want is for Caelum to grow as a character, meet new people, go on adventures, solve mysteries. You can forget Harry Potter's adventure, I am not going to be like every other author who is going off Harry Potter's adventure, little timeline. Caelum, Fred, George, and who they meet along the way are doing their own things. 

Don't get the wrong idea, constructive criticism and feedback are always welcomed! I will even put that on my front page. I am new at this stuff, and I would appreciate your help along the way. No, cross that out, I love it when helpful tips and advice come my way!

All in all, the reason why I got into writing is that I love a good adventure, I love a brand new world, with a sparkaling magic system. I have and I shall, till the end of times. So, that is what I want in my stories, and once again constructive criticism and feedback are always welcomed!

The leather armor was a bit big but with the various straps on, it felt extremely … comfortable. Almost as if it was handmade for him. Aiden was surprised and he made a note in his heart to ask Jovian whether it was handmade or not. He tied the shortsword by his side and walked proudly towards the Adventure Guild along with Yannis. Yannis is the son of Louis de Graffe and Jovian's adventuring buddy. He was also a Silver grade adventurer and had agreed to become Aiden's tutor for a short amount of time. 
Yannis was a man in his early twenties with a sleek face. He looked like a foreigner in this area of land but in reality, it was his father who was a foreigner. His eyes and hair were a strange yellow and his long arms almost made him look like a snake. He too wore a leather armor but it was much more detailed and fitting than Aiden's but there were a few similarities too.
'Guess, Jovian made my armor from the same armorsmith from whom Yannis made his. Not only that, Jovian also told me that Yannis is as cunning as a snake and agile like a deer. I must learn a few tricks from him. Hmph!!'
Aiden pumped his feet in anticipation. 
Yannis' glanced at Aiden from the corner of his eyes and a faint smile spread over his face. 
"Say, Aiden. I heard you were a troublemaker in these parts of the city. What kind of things have you done that they even gave you the title of The Troublemaker?" he said in a questioning tone.
Aiden looked at him for a moment and a thought flashed across his head, 'Did he read my mind…' but then he shook it away. 'Maybe I'm famous!' he thought, narcissistically.
"So?" Yannis continued.
Aiden scratched his head and replied, "Well, aside from threatening and robbing, I've pretty much done everything."

"Nah! Forget it. You didn't have the chance of studying so you obviously won't know something 'high' like that. Anyway, have you ever trespassed in other's territory?" 
"Eh… you do know that isn't something to say aloud? More to a stranger." Aiden frowned as if asking Yannis whether he thought Aiden was an idiot. 
A vein popped in Yannis temple and he understood one thing for sure in this small exchange of word, 'This kid may not be literate but he is dangerously witty…'
With a sigh, Yannis could only silently take Aiden towards the Adventure Guild. There were times when the passerby looked at Aiden in his new leather armor in awe and his little friends gawked and even followed him for a little distance before Aiden charged at them with his shortsword in wide draw. 
"Run away, you mutts! For I'm the Demon King of Asphergard!!" Aiden would shout at the kids as he aimlessly slashed in the air.
In those times, Yannis would squint his eyes and think to himself whether or not this kid was truly uneducated or not. Because, he knew that there really was a Demon King in an area called Asphergard, only that the name of the place is highly confidential and would never be brought out by simple kids.

Adventure Guild 
Aiden and Yannis entered the Adventure Guild and found it bustling with activity. Men and women of different age groups were quite identifiable in the guild and everyone was carrying at least one weapon. Aiden looked around and saw burly men drinking jugs and bottles of hard wine, knights in their shiny armor with their faces covered in metal helms and carrying large longswords and battleaxes while busty ladies wearing revealing clothes and carrying sharp daggers or large magical staffs went about their tasks or looking around for companions for quests. There were even elderlies who taught young generations, mostly orphans or children of adventurers-in-missions, and others who either sold minor accessories. It was a real sight to behold and it amazed Aiden how the Guild could fit all these people in such a small square area.
The truth is that the Guild might look weak and small from outside but when inside, it will generally show the eloquence and beauty of the Myriad State, the place where the Adventure Guild emerged out from. Almost all Adventure Guilds are magnificent in comparison to their respective areas. 
"Come with me. Let's go see the Chief."
"The Chief?" 
"Yes, he is the head of the Lexington branch of the Adventure Guild and is the only Gold ranked adventurer in this measly town of Lexington. He is very powerful and quite witty. Both of you would be pleased to meet each other, I'm sure of it."
Aiden squinted his eyes and asked in a questioning tone, "You're no astrologer." He replied simply but Yannis only smiled at him.
Aiden's frown deepened but he didn't retort. 
Both of them headed towards the upper floor of the Adventure Guild, towards the executive area of the Guild. On the way, Aiden looked around and saw the Quest/Notice Board of the Adventure Guild. Like in his brother's tales, the board was filled with white paper, each of them a quest with its specific requirements, rewards and whatnot. But among everything, there was one paper which stood out the most among everyone. 
It was a paper with a golden lining and border. It was written with a special black ink, the black so eye-catchy that all the other paper's writing seemed to dim in its comparison. A special scent wafted out of the paper, attracting the attention of all the adventurers. Not only that, even the writing was really cursive with a hint of royalty imbedded into it. Almost immediately Aiden understood what that quest was about. It was the quest which Jovian mentioned yesterday night. The Call of Duty by Prince Michael. Unfortunately, before he could scan the quest more clearly, he was pulled away by Yannis towards the nest floor.
The Guild was three stories high. The ground floor was for all the common adventurers, quest board and quest issuance counter and all. It also had a cafeteria, a bar and a small inn for foreign adventurers. The first floor was the arsenal and the logistic area. It held all the resources of the guild and all business transactions between trading companies and commercial house take place. The second floor was the place where all the administrative works were done. It was a highly restricted area and it was the place where the chief resided. 
Yannis brought Aiden towards the Chief's room. He gave his Adventuring Pendant to his assistant who looked at it carefully for a few seconds. The assistant was a middle-aged lady with a chiseled face and skin as white as milk with long blonde hair draping down her shoulders like waterfall. She was busty, her cleavage a feast for the eyes but her emerald eyes were as sharp as swords. One look from her was all it took for Yannis to flinch his gaze away from her boobs. 
Aiden too glanced at her boobs once, but his heart was still purer than Yannis. But what did attract his gaze was her hand. She was one-handed, her right hand was missing and it seemed that she had a little difficulty writing with only one hand but she seemed okay. Aiden's heart twitched in pain as he gazed at the empty sleeve. Just the thought of his brother returning with an injury like that would wrench his heart out of his chest. 
The other thing which attracted Aiden's attention was the silver pendant which hung on her neck. It was a Silver Adventuring Pendant but it also had a clear distinction from Yannis or Jovian's. It had a red mark around its corner. It meant that it was an Honor Pendant, a pendant awarded due to an adventurer's good deed in whether saving a town from a disease or destroying a major beast tide or any other act of justice and good. Most commonly, it was gifted to exceptional adventurers, martyred. 
'How did she get that? Who is she?'

Therefore, with his half-broken shackles and a mysterious entity from the Abyss haunting him, the kid wanders the world trying to find answers on why he is so different that the others, to fulfill his destiny and in the midst of it, trying to find his real family.

Prime Minister Eric of Veva. And even in pain Aero is smirking like he felt funny looking at Eric.
Aero then muttered under his labored breath
'Feast of the Western gate. That bastard Eric wanted to kill me' Now he remembers why he was at the Western Gate
The moment his mind thinks of it, he was there again, this time looking at the event like he was an omniscient god, from third perspective.
He was attending a feast for his release from the Divine Prison of Veva. However, his attendance is required and he would not be released until he attend.
He pushes his mind further and he finally remembers a bit more about the Feast of the Western Gate.
At that time, he had a spy in the enemy camp, a general of the Vevaian army colluding with him in an effort to free him from his captivity in Veva.
That General is General Kyle, one of the influential general in Vevaian army.
There seems to be a disagreement between them though he couldn't remember why.
The moment he thinks of why, another memory flashed by of his battle with Kyle, with him fanning his fan on his face, looking down on Kyle.
At that time, he was the strategist for Vanheim and Kyle was the General tasked with the invasion of Vanheim.
He lost and was sentenced to death by the King of Vetten but escaped from his execution during the chaos of the war between Vetten and Vanheim
He was then recruited by Eric to counter Aero.
It was only a flash of memory but it instantly reveals the relationship between them two.
They met again in Veva when he was captured by the military of Veva after sacrificing himself to save his sworn brother.
Kyle at first wanted to shred him apart.
But in the end, Kyle has decided to throw his lot with him and defected to Vanheim.
Aero opened back his eyes up, this time there is a confident and domineering air about him and his eyes seems to shine with wisdom.
He remembers himself. He is Aero the strategist that brought Kin George to the throne, fighting off the noble influence, making the King of Vanheim the sole authority of the kingdom.
He is strategist Aero that fought on two invasion force, planning victory from thousands of miles away.
He is the strategist that repel the invasion of Vetten, persuading Duke Bradheim to join forces with the Orcs, and the same strategist that planned the eventual invasion of Vetten and its subsequent annexation.
'I am Aero, the designer of Great Vanheim, the Divine Strategist of Vanheim!' He declared to himself and his eyes has this fire of ambition lit up.
 Aero slowly getting up. He felt something coming out from his nose. He wipes it out and he could see golden liquid.
'Not red blood' He ask himself. The moment he asks that question, another memory surged into his mind like a tidal wave.
It was like he was assaulted by memories as his head is pulsing with aching pains of the veins around his head.
He was transported to an island as he sees himself bleeding on the shore of some island.
Behind him is the raging seas and looking down on him is a large man with a white beard, his eyes radiated power and his left hand is wielding a trident that appears to have the abilities to summons storms and command the seas.
He knows who that person is. Poseidon, the Earthshaker, the Bringer of Storms and the God of the Sea.
He remembers Poseidon stabbing him in his makeshift island and took away his sword, as he almost breathed his last on some unknown island.
Then he remembers Athena, The Bearer of the Aegis, The Goddess of Wisdom sending him to the Underworld to gain the favor of the Gods.
He remembers how he had save Thetis from Kreon, the prison guard of Hera custom made prison for Thetis.
He also remembers how Thetis have taken him as her son and told him the way to beat the three headed dog that guarded the entrance to the Underworld by bathing in the Styx
He remembers then how he defeated the three headed dog of the Underworld and how he met Hades
He finished his journey in the Underworlds and he breathed fresh air once again
'Oh' Then he smiles.
He did not know why he is smiling. He then said to himself
'What a glorious life that I have lived' he said it to himself. It is his memory and the more he looks at it, he could feel confidence is building up in his heart and his soul.
The way he carried himself now is slightly different and the air emanating around him is an air of a powerful person that could intimidate anyone.
He stabilizes himself and then look at his hip.
He felt that sensation behind his back before.
He touches it and brought it out of his sheath expertly as he reached behind him and brought the saber in front of him.
He slashes it forward and the wind ripped apart. It is a heavy saber and full of striking power. He felt familiar with it and he smiles.
Now, he recognizes it. That is his sword.
'The Howling Dragon Saber' he muttered.
It is the saber he got from King George as his reward in winning against Vetten. He had been using it since he lost his Sword of Mars to Poseidon.
He then sheathed it back.
The saber is sheathed in a red sheath. Now, that he had basic knowledge of who he is, he is trying to make sense the scene in front of him.
He looks in front of him and all he could see is a sea of people.  There are even some people in the hills slowly waking up
Probably tens of thousands of people all over the vast land. They all behaved like him. They all groggily trying to stand up like they were all awaking from a long sleep.
Aero saw a young woman not far away from him. He saw how the woman is struggling to get up.
'I should try to help her and ask her whether she knows anything' he thought to himself as he walk to that woman.
Unbeknown to him, one the distance, another person is walking toward him. This man has a sharp and cold eyes but no killing intent.
But it is clear from his gaze, that he knows who Aero is.
However, Aero still did not recognize the man as he did not even know someone is slowly approaching him right now.
Aero was about to hold that woman up but just as he takes one step, that memory about the Feast at Western Gate once again enter his mind.

So, here is today chapter. The vibe of this new arc is different because it is supposed to be a different book or a new chapter for the story itself.
But since that would be confusing I merged it into Age of Adventure current page. The vibe of the story would be different
Some people might like the new vibe, and some people probably don't.
Anyway, there is something I need to ask the readers.  Because I am writing three stories at the same time right now I am heavily overtaxed.
My fingers are aching and sometimes my eyes hurt.
So, I am asking a vote here. I really hope there is a poll feature in web novel but there still isn't. So, what I am asking you all to vote on is this.
I usually post any new chapter for the month on the sixth day of the month. I might have to extend that to seven for one of the stories.
Though I did not decide which story would have one-day delay than the others.
Of course I might be able to handle the pressure next month. But if there is a delay then don't be shocked since I am announcing it here.
If you would like other story to be delayed send some gifts or just commented in the comment section. I would ask this question on the other two story too.
I guess this is it. This chapter would will be setting up the new stage of Aero adventure. If you did not guess it by now, yes, Aero forgot about Amelia…and even his own real identity as Daniel.
All of this will be slowly revealed and I will not be giving you all the answer. You have to piece it all together as the story unravels.
