I was craving some grilled sandwich, since afternoon. So, as soon as the clock struck five, I set out , to my newest favourite sandwich shop in the city. I was the first customer of the day. The owner along with her friends who were having a conversation welcomed me and I placed my order. They decided to invite me into the conversation and I decided to play my usual game. Lost Tourist :)

" your name ? 

"Anjana" I flashed my most innocent smile. They all introduced themselves.

"so, are you from outside Kerala ? "

You see, my accent is the biggest aid to my disguises. No one, ever, believes that I understand and speak Malayalam, even though am a native who never even travelled outside the state.

"no. am from Mumbai" I lie easily.

"oh, where in Mumbai ?" the handsomest hunk

"ahhhhm, Andheri ??"

"that's great" says the owner who goes straight into the kitchen to bring the chef back with her. 
" he is also from Andheri "

Am already struck in the head. What's the possibility of meeting a person from a place you randomly choose ????
"aha...!" I give him a stiff smile. No, don't ask me questions. I would never say Andheri in this lifetime, I swear!

"Andheri West or East ?"  now the chef.

Can I take it back ? Can I ? How would I know if Andheri has west , east, south or north...? I mean, generally there are four directions,,,,,,sigh,,, let's take a pic.
"Andheri west"

"awesome, I was born and brought up in there . So where exactly in Andheri west ?"

They both are going back from the hunt. They lived at a small village, Valhand. Valhand is in Valha's city region.
Everyday Nare and his sister Kire are hunting together. They always hunting because they need the money to enter the academy at Capital City Kaleo.
Valhand doesn't have a mage academy. When they already fifteen, they always left the village and went to the other city academies. That's why there aren't many young people here
"It's pretty tiring right?"
"Yes it is brother."
Everyday always the same. I always went hunting with my sister to get some money. Because we have a dream becoming the best mage in the world. But before that i need to work really really hard.
Sunlight hits my skin, it feels so hot today. Even though it was just raining yesterday. And now it's cloudy still that hot.
"It's sure is pretty hot right Kire?"
"Mhm." she wiped her sweat.
Suddenly a kid with a blue scarf appears infront of the village's front gate.
"You look like a mess, Nare."
"Ah Leo, what's up. Like always we are hunting."
Leo Crystfall, he is my bestfriend and also my rival. I think he is the strongest between us five. He can use ice and wind magic. He also have a strong elemental weapon.  He is also a smart and caring person, even though sometimes he is a cold person. Well if i can say he is the perfect one in our team.
"But you look like a trash right now. You should go take a bath and today let's just take the day off."
Like always his mouth can't shut up.
"Okay okay, i know i smell like trash. Well then good bye. Let's go Kire."
"Yes brother."
After leaving Leo, Nare and Kire are going to the village's main street. They are going to sell the material they got after the hunt.
"There you go Miss Kathy, twelve wild boar skin and three elemental core."
"Eh, today you get alot of good stuff huh. Three elemental core is worth three gold coin and twelve wild boar skin is worth twenty four silver coin. That's all for today, thank you Ciguerl."
"No problem miss."
"We got a lot today brother. Usually we only got around twenty silver coin." said Kire.
"Well that's because of lucky. Today we got three elemental core from the wild boar. That's pretty rare material to get. I know that we can strengthen our elemental weapon with that. But i think we don't need to right now."
"That's because you overdo it brother. But thank God we got a lot. By the way brother, why do you act cold to Leo?"
"Why? Well it's normal between us right? I mean he is being cold towards me too."
Kire hold Nare's hand. "It's 'his' normal attitude not yours. You don't need to acting cold to anybody."
Kire stared at Nare as if begging not to do it again.
"Huh, fine fine. I mean even though we are best friend, i still hate his cold attitude. Yeah he is strong, he can do everything i can't, he is the best at doing anything. But i won't lose to him, i will not give up."
Suddenly Kire slap Nare's back. "That's not what i mean. I know he is cold, but he is a good friend." Kire's face blushed.
"Uh huh, and why's your face blushing."
"Oh oh, nothing."
"Hee really?"
Nare know that Kire likes Leo from the beginning. She like him when we were still 8, it's the first time we met Leo in Heljen. Well because of him too we can get our elemental weapon stronger.
"Let's go home then?"
"Okay brother."
It's been a tiring day, not just today but everyday. Five of us always hunting everyday to get money. Me and Kire always hunting wild boar everyday, Shone and Gina are hunting Earth Hyiena together, and Leo... i don't know how he get money but when he get money, he always get more than us.
"Damn, he's always one step ahead of me."
"What is it brother?"
"Nothing Kire. By the way, what are you going to cook for dinner?"
"How about meat pie?"
"That's it, cook that for us. Give me two portion more than yours."
"Like always huh, alright just for today brother. We can't waste our food stock for only one food."
"Yah yah i understand and starving here."
"Alright alright i'm going."
Luckily I learned the recipe from Leo. Kire smiled. Well i'm gonna make the best meat pie ever to beat Leo's meat pie.
While Kire is preparing for the food, Nare is going to the house backyard. He always practice everytime he got back from hunting. He try to expand his mana capacity. He meditated for one hour every day.
"It's windy now and not that hot anymore. What a condition is this, so relaxing." Nare closed his eyes and started to meditate.
I've done this like a hundred times, not only a hundred but a thousand time. Nare thought. I know that my weakness is mana capacity, i can't use magic too much or i will get exhausted real quick. I need to focus and relax, i know i can't beat that guy in an instant. But i believe that one day i will surpass him.
Every saturday and sunday Nare always jogging and doing lots of exercise to increasing his stamina. Every monday to friday he always hunting to train his elemental weapon skill and elemental magic skill. He know if he does that every day, he can surpass Leo.
Maybe what i think might be wrong. But i know it's not impossible to surpass him. I also have a spar with Shone every time i'm going to hut. And my record is 120 win and 119 lose. It's not a good record though, but at least not that bad. My record spar with Leo is 0 win, that's all i got. Every single time i spar with him i can't win once. He is a monster genius that is undefeated.
Well that's probably because mine is fire and his is ice. But i still don't know what if 3000 degree of fire were frozen by -3000 degree of ice who will win? I don't know and i really want to know that. But i can't use 3000 degree of fire because it's just like a plasma. That's a persona fire magic, usually a rank AAA mage or higher can use it.
'Persona' magic is can be used after they got awakened. Every student that attends magic academy is always awakened. Their rank increased and their power is getting stronger. They give awakened so our body is strong enough to be an adventurer.
Probably the leader of this country really wants to explore this world after people can't get out of the island for 300 years. The rumours said that outside of Sezezu there's a lot of magic monster. They want to exterminate them and expand Sezezu region.
But as far as i know, there are very few adventurers who return to Sezezu after they left. Don't know if the rest are dead or keep adventuring, but their condition is unknown. After people left Sezezu, the government couldn't detect them. Maybe because there is no signal.
Well for me, i didn't really care for the money. I just need money so we can go to capital in a good condition. Even though i know that they got dormitory in every magic academy, but if we want to do something else such as eating and other stuff, it cost a lot in the capital city.
I know that my power is still weak if i compare it to them. But still, i believe i can get stronger than ever. Just a little bit more training and it's all done. Besides i've got a good elemental weapon now. After three time upgrading it in Heljen and now it's stronger than ever.
I also can use water magic now after two years of training. I train water magic because i need to balance my magic. After having a big damage magic, i need to improve my defense too. I just realized that since my 100 lost to Leo. I always weak at defense even though my attack is strong, that's what he said to me. Thanks to that now i've got a better elemental weapon and water magic.
"I'm done brother." Kire shouted from the kitchen.
"Alright i'm coming."
I sat down and start to eating.
"No way! This is the best meat pie i've ever eat." Nare shouted
"Shhh you're too loud. Well thanks, it's because Leo taught me before."
"Him again huh. He can do every thing in this world, what can't he do?"
"Maybe there's something we don't know brother."
Yes, he did not tell us of his past. We still don't know his past, where he came from, where is his family or other thing. The only thing we know is that he is our friend and has the same dream as us.
"Well, from now on i'm going to be stronger than him. Not only him, every one else in this world. I'm going to surpass every one."
"Hee, i don't know whether it's your confidence or just bragging. But i believe you will become stronger." Kire smiled.
"Heheh, tomorrow let's go hunt again and tomorrow we will get at least five gold coin."
"Hm, alright!"
"Let's eat for now. I'm too hungry right now."
I believe it, nothing is impossible for me. Not just me, but every one. I believe i can be the best mage in the world, i will surpass anyone. I need to be stronger to protect my friend too. And there is no turning back this time, only one who has a goal can achieve it. And that is me.

After the 'World End' tragedy. The world have been restored. Year 323, there is a kid from a small village. His name is Nare Ciguerl.

Nare Ciguerl is a child from a very small village, Valhand. He has the same dream with his friends which is going to the Capital City Kaleo to become the best mage in the world.

Everyday they always hunting to get money and going adventure together. They also train their power everyday tirelessly.

In every person's life, in every individual's life, memories will exist. Good memories, bad memories or even just your average everyday memories, they all exist and no one can really get rid of them. No matter how hard you try to forget them, it will always stay somewhere in your mind. Trust me, I'm sure someone has tried before, not gonna assume though. Memories are something that you take until the day you day. Maybe even after you die! Maybe even in the hell or heaven, they will always stay with you. 

My most favourite memories will always, always be with my biological mother. The memories may be a little unclear and blurry, after all I was only two when she left the world urgently to fly to the sky, maybe god had some  duties to give her, but her smile and hugs will never vanish. 

She always kissed me on the cheeks and bended down to my level to comfort me when I was crying like she was an angel from the heaven. She was an angel from heaven, only from heaven. 

That is the only reason why I believe in god, heaven and hell. If god and heaven hadn't existed , I don't know who would create such a beautiful human being and where she had came from. I'm so thankful to god for letting her be in my life. Out of the seven billion lives on Earth, she was apart of mine. The other person who gets to meet her will be lucky, won't they be? The god who's gender is mysterious allowed me to make memories with her. Now I can think about the amazing memories I had with her all the time endlessly. 

I truly loved her, she truly loved me, we wouldn't change a thing about each other. Those memories were old and unclear but if I was give a choice to get rid of those memories for something else, I would definitely say no.

Everyday felt so short yet so long. Before I knew it the day would end, when I was waiting to see her, the time would feel like in slo-motion. It felt like a dream, too good to be true.  Whether she was near or far, it seemed like she was in front me. 

I remember that day. 

The day when I opened my eyes to the big world for the first ever time. 
It was the first memory created in my mind. Most people don't remember those memories, perhaps they were just too young but I remembered that part the best. 

I still picture the bright lights that blinded my eyes and how I started to cry naturally. 

The next thing I saw with my small eyes was my mother, sobbing in tears of joy when seeing me. She smiled and picked me up with her tearful eyes, then she looked at the doctors and nurses like she was grateful. I couldn't at that time but if I could with my tiny eyes and mouth, I would've smiled back at her. Though I think it would look a little ugly. Babies don't come with cute faces when they just get delivered after all, instead , they look like mini potatoes at first. 

Since that day, everyday became a new memory with my mother. 

She cared for me, every birthday that I celebrated, mine or my mother's, became a moment that I could never shake off my mind. When I drew a picture of us, when we went to picnics, when I would give letters and cards to her, those times I will never forget. 

When it was my birthday every year, my mother would take me to a beautiful garden near the river at the countryside. It had soft and long grass, flowers all around and the Sun always shined brightly around there. 

There was a small and cozy cottage with trees surrounding it nearby and we stayed there for the week comfortably. 

We ate honey cereal with milk or sometimes pancakes in the morning, macaroni and cheese for lunch, pasta for dinner and my leftover cake as desert after dinner everyday until there was none left.

Sometimes my mother would eat salad because of her illness, she wanted to take care of her body. At that time, I didn't know why she would eat a few vegetables alone. 

All day activities we liked to do was drawing, painting, singing and sleeping. We would do drawing and painting contests to see who had 'better' artworks. This was fun and took a part of our day. Singing songs all day long while running across the grass, it was nice. 

Having the warm sun shine all over me, butterflies flying around. 

I felt so comfortable, so happy, so joyful.

I still recall that day when we went to the mountains.

My mother was always told not to go climbing, it would affect her health. She knew she shouldn't have. But knowing how she was not gonna be in the world one day, that I would lose the opportunity to see the top of mountain with her. She couldn't imagine that. Her mother and father used to bring her to the mountains when she was young once a year, she wanted me to also experience it, she wouldn't allow herself to not. 

So up we went, she bought this baby carrier so that I would be in front of her being carried the entire time. She packed all my necessary things and set off. It was rocky, it was cold, it was then warm. But nothing stopped her until we reach the top. She snapped a picture of us and she started crying while hugging me. I just called out her name, " mommi, mommi." 

Going down was a problem and she didn't have enough strength left so she called for a helicopter to bring us down. That helicopter rides was long and endless but I can't complain, I could never be as happy. 

If I could re-experience those times again, how could I say no?

The smile I had on my face can never be that bright again, just like that time. 

But my mother left, she left this planet too early, way too early for me to be able to make more memories with her. And automatically, those memories became the old memories in my life... If only she was still here... we could've made more memories that could fill up an entire room. 

Now I can't see her in the day, only at sleep. I always sleep early and wake up late, when I can't sleep, I won't just wake up, I would try my hardest to fall asleep again. 

To see her again, to see her more again, to always see her everyday when I wake up and when I fall asleep....


I am 15 now. This goes without saying that I should have new memories, after all 13 years of my life was living without my mother. Good memories, bad memories, either one, they were both my new memories. 

With my adopted parents.... I didn't have much  good or special memories with them. Every time we went on a trip, it never felt the same, you know? I didn't feel special with them. They weren't the same person, they didn't give the same aura that my mother gave off. 

For years with my adopted parents, I would just smile. I didn't actually make very good memories with them, most of them I have already forgotten. I know because I always think of the memories with my mother in my sleep so I can remember them forever on repeat but I never recalled the moments with my adopted parents. 

At least he was there, he made brand new memories for me. He made pain itself less painful. Everyday seemed like a new memory and moment with him. I wanted to freeze time in those memories, just like how I wanted with my mother. 

He felt like my mother, but he wasn't. 

He really wasn't and I know it. 

I just don't want to lose him like I lost my mother.

Snow had always knew that her parents weren’t her real parents. She knew that they just raised her after her mother had passed away on the hospital bed when she was only two. Nevertheless, she still pretended that she didn’t know about the adoption, even if she knew very well. Her adopted parents were doctors from top hospitals and were very serious and strict about not only their jobs but also their entire life. One day in Snow’s  childhood, she was chasing after a fluffy but big dog and bumped into a boy. That boy’s name was Joon Woo. Ever since that day, the two became the bestest of friends who were unseperable. One day, when Snow was just twelve and Joon Woo was sixteen, Joon Woo joined a boy group to be an idol. As he wanted to share the news with his best friend, he failed to. He had a gut feeling that if he did tell her, their friendship will drift away to different worlds. He knew very well that Snow was never comfortable around people who were ‘better’ than her in fear of constantly being compared. He never told her years and she never found out. Even though she noticed their similar features, she always told herself the two people were different. However, Joon Woo started to always act weird. For example, he would try to hide his face when they were out in public and his schedules were always cramped and busy. She always kept her head with the thoughts but whenever he ocasionally comes to her school to study with her, her uneasiness faded and she could only smile. A new transfer comes to the school and he is very handsome, soon he comes to like Snow. Joon Woo being protective, he makes sure that the new transfer student won’t touch her and a love triangle starts to take place.  Meanwhile, all was going well until the day Snow’s parents were involved in a medical incident which made them go to court. All Snow could do was to cry even though she actually knew the truth about the incident and how her parents were innocent but there stood her childhood friend. Joon Woo dragged her to the court to say what she knew before Min Jun could help her and he got the idea. On the other hand, she did but before the court was settled, people had already seen Joon Woo’s face. Facing the rumours and gossip wasn’t easy as Joon Woo told her not to believe them. She wasn’t sure what to believe. She finally concludes that her best friend was hiding things from her. What else did he hide from her? Through all the pressure and stress, Snow fails her exam and was scared to face her parents. She knew that she would be lectured and this time, she didn’t have the courage to face Joon Woo for help and motivation. Not knowing what to do, Snow runs away from home and stays at a small cottage for a year only to chase after a fluffy and big dog that looked like the one that brought her to meet Joon woo. Coincidentally, Snow bumps into the same friend she broke ties with a year ago. As she forgave him for the secret he hid from her , the two get mixed up in each other’s life again and gets even closer this time.

"He came and went with the shadows every night. I didn't know who he was, what he wanted, or even what he was. My spine would tingle, I would get the strange restlessness you get when your sixth sense tells you someone is watching you. And that is how I knew he was there, watching me. 

I was not afraid, but rather, uneasy. I never called for help, never told anyone. Perhaps a part of me felt like there was a possibility I had gotten so majorly depressed that my mind started conjuring hallucinations. There was no need to bother people with something that was likely a figment of my imagination.

And so it went on, night after night - him watching me, me watching him watching him."

It feels like ages since I've last written. Starting a new diary because I seem to have lost my old one. God I hope my parents don't find it. Actually, I really hope no one finds it and I've just misplaced it somewhere. It's so me to be careless and useless like this. I'm a goner if anyone finds my deepest darkest thoughts, especially my parents and the people I call my 'best friends'.

*sigh* Sometimes my life feels like a monochrome, devoid of any colour. Black and white, just like the keys of the piano I love. Everyday, I go to school, come home and revise then sleep. Everyday is a monotonous routine that drains me so much. You won't believe how hard it is to drag myself out of bed every morning, to drag myself to school. 

Every morning, I search for signs that the day is going to be a good day. I don't know what I'm looking for - a rainbow, mum's special omelette for breakfast, even my parents nagging me a little less is a good sign. I tell myself it's going to be a better day. 'Maybe today, my friends will criticise me less. Maybe today, my parents won't go off at me again.' But everyday is the same dark cycle. It's like the sun has set and never risen in my life. I can't remember the last time I was truly happy. Is there a meaning to this life? 

I don't know if I'm going crazy. These past few nights, I feel like there's someone watching me in the dark as I lay in bed. Tossing in bed for hours before I can finally fall asleep isn't a new thing to me. But this is the first time I've had hallucinations. It's the same thing every night. After I switch off my bedroom lights and climb into bed, after a while, I'll get the same feeling - that someone's watching. I wasn't scared, just uneasy. It's the tingle down your spine, that restlessness and uneasiness you get when you feel like someone has their eyes on you. 

And last night, I finally saw him, a shadow in the dark, the barely visible silhouette of a person. I lay in bed, barely daring to breathe. I think he knew I was watching him back too. (I think it's a he because he looked tall and masculine, but I can't be sure, so for the purpose of this entry I'll just have to assume its gender heh) So that night, I lay in bed, watching him watch me, until I finally fell asleep.

My mind is brimming with questions. Who, or rather, what is he, it? What does he want from me? Is it just my mind playing tricks on me? Although I've had this same paranoid feeling the past few nights, this is the first time I've actually seen something. I've never had any supernatural experiences before, so I doubt it's a ghost or evil spirit of some sort. 

I tried to google 'dark person in the shadows' and got a lot of search results for 'shadow people'. Apparently they're shadow beings thirsty for blood as they can't be reborn without it. Not even halfway through the article I got so scared I just exited Chrome. Please don't be some bloodthirsty evil being. My heart is racing and my skin is crawling even as I write this. I hate how easily scared of paranormal things I am. 

I'm just going to end this entry here because all this paranormal talk is scaring me more than I'd like. It's almost 2am in the morning. Time to sleep, or try, I guess. I wonder if he will come again tonight?

He is the dark, the darkness is my friend, I told myself. At least, unlike everyone in my life, he has yet to make me feel sad. Falling asleep under his watch pretending I had a guardian angel, that was one of the better memories I had of my darkest days."

For the past few nights, Avery thinks she's been seeing things. A silhouette in the dark, watching her. Who, no what is he?

"You are the laziest person on this world. Wake up and get ready for the movie", Raghav shouted as he entered the room wearing a towel.

Aarushi his love or you can say the beats of his heart. She slowly woke up and went to the bathroom to get freshen up. Raghav used to do PUJA, he used to inflame a lamp everyday.

He got ready, soon (after 20 mins) Aarushi also got ready. As they were about to leave Raghav saw the PUJA lamp was extinguished in half way. "Baby burn it again", Raghav asked Aarushi.
"I'm down, I can't do it now", She said staring at him from the upper gaps of her specs.

It was very strange for Raghav. "You will do it oneday", He thought. Raghav inflamed the left part and after that they left for the movie. 
He thought if girls can't worship during their periods then why do they participate themselves in other works? If this stereotype is that important give every girls or ladies a leave of 4-5 days every month. But no ! because if its happens society will get offended and obviously the sentiments of society is much more important than the freedom of a girl or a person. 
Raghav hardly gives any damn what society needs or what will this society think if he does something which is appropriate. 
#AFTER_3_YEARS.

They married eachother. It was a Friday, release day of a new movie. "Oyee ! the laziest person get up qnd get ready fast", Raghav shouted. 
Aarushi bathed and came out, Raghav was waiting for her to inflame the lamp for the PUJA he use to do everyday. She came without any awkwardness, this time she smiled when he asked her to inflame the lamp. For the first time her periods didn't stop her to worship her Gods. 
Both lightened up the lamp together. Raghav was happy but Aarushi was happier that day. 
Their love as a fuel was flammable enough to turn every stereotypes into ashes and when something turns into ashes then that can't be fired again.

"Why the hell can't you do it right? You idiot." Shouts a pig.
"I-I'm sorry sir." I answer a pig. That pig is the floor head at the software company I work at, everyday he would come shouting just to show his dominance. He's one of those old fashioned 'you have to yell to seem powerful' people, but everyone knew he's an idiot.
Why can't I do it? Why? Well maybe it's cause you change your instructions every hour you fat pig.
"I'm cutting today from your paycheck." He shouts.
"B-but that's crazy, all I did was just a rewrite, you can't possible cut a day for—"
"Don't talk back to me!" He interrupts. "Just do your bloody job and be happy you're not fired."
"Fucking pig." I murmur to myself
"What?"
"N-nothing..."
He looks at me for a few more seconds then turns around and leaves.
Phew, that was close, he may be a pig but I still need my job. However when I do go rich I'll definitely have him assassinated.

Now some might go 'this is just a random thought' or 'I wouldn't actually kill anyone'. Not me. If I knew for sure I would get away with it I would set that asshole on fire and barbecue his own meat on it. A normal piece of meat however; not THAT 'meat'. I may not be right in the head but I have no perversions of such.

We wrap up work at about six in the afternoon, after which I head straight home, but god knows I can't head home safely, we can't have that can we?
On my way home every single day without fail I have to get bombarded with a series of street performers who think they can actually play to save their lives. I'm no virtuoso myself but I have a set of functioning ears that can distinguish music from noise, and that was nothing but noise. Yet our neighborhood was crowded with them, for some reason people just keep giving them money, are they deaf? I once got fed up and approached one of them.

"Enough. Please stop I'm sick of hearing your shitty playing everyday. Each and everyday I come home tired and you're just over there drumming away like a...a monkey having a seizure, drum away somewhere else." I told one of them, and you know what he said.

He asked me for 1500$ to stop his noise pollution; the audacity those people have. 

After trudging through the way home I arrive at my place where my wife awaits for me, it's a kind of waiting not much different than a jail guard awaiting the return of his prisoner after his break. She would always go something like 'I need money.' Or 'Your dog shat on the carpet again.' Or 'there's no dinner today, I'm going out.' Or on a good day she'd just be out already. I don't recall the last time she greeted me now that I think about it, that's what you get from being forced into an arranged marriage I guess.

I walk through the front door greeted today by perhaps the only ray of sunshine I know of.

"How you doin' boy?" I say to my dog in a sound not that of a 41 year old man, but who cares, certainly not anyone in this world.

That's normally how my day goes. I go into bed, sleep it out, then next thing tomorrow I'm off to work passing by the same annoying musicians and sound of drilling...wait drilling?

"Sorry sir, this street is under repair, please take another route." Says the yellow helmeted standing in front of a working site, looks like a sewer pipe got busted or something, today will actually be the first day I take a different route to work, that might not be so bad, one sure does need a breath of fresh air.

As such I take the parallel to the right street with the intention to cross left after about two or three intersections. As I walk down the street I look at people around me, most in suits heading to work, they're all either grinning or occupied. It really gives you a feeling of vulnerability, but I know the better, having fallen for that trap many times before I know, each and every human is a piece of shit, and I'm the biggest piece of shit of them all; and that is a fact.

I reach the intersection I have to cross and wait out for the traffic sign to change, as soon as it changes I start crossing over with about three other people, when suddenly I hear a squeaking sound from afar.

"Watch out!" Someone shouts.
I look out in the other direction and see it, a truck running rampant out of control, and it's headed straight at the woman in front of me. She's just within pushing range, I'm sure that if I just give her a slight push she'll be out of the way, I'm also pretty athletic myself as I used to play baseball in high school. Such a quick reflex would be nothing to me, but in the end I decide not to do it. There's a chance I might get hit and honestly seeing someone die doesn't sound so bad, she's probably another horrible person anyways.

As such I immediately take 2 steps back and fix my eyes on the woman to enjoy the show, after all such a sight you only get every so often, then I hear another tire creek, her final creek of de—

"HAAAAAH!"
What the hell?
I breathe heavily, what the hell just happened, ah, it must've been a nightmare. Ah thank go—
"Who're you thanking you scum." A feminine voice calls to me.

I look in front of me and there lies a girl sitting on a chair made out of rocks, she's dressed as a shrine maiden but it really doesn't fit the rest of her image, she was grinning a very vile grin, I don't think I've ever seen a smile that foul before.

"Who the hell are you?" I shout before looking around, how could I have not noticed it before, where is...everything?

Pitch black all across the board, actually what even am I standing on? Am I...

"Dead? Yes you are." She says while playing with her hair.

"I was actually gonna say 'am I still dreaming' but I guess dead wo— no wait how did you..."

"Hear that? Nothing hides here, your thoughts are as loud as your voice." She wears a bored expression on her face, I guess she must've explained this a thousand times before.

"Well what is this place exactly?" I ask
"The after life." She says while still playing with her hair. "You believe in reincarnation right? Well in this world you get what you believe in. So you're being incarnated."

"What? Really?!" I kinda wish I had believed in something nicer.

"That's rude, reincarnation is the most fair system after all." Damn, I forgot about that thought thing. "Well anyways bla bla bla you're getting incarnated into a rat bye."

"What? Hey hey hey hey wait wait, don't I even get a choice in this? Why a rat?" That bitch, do your job properly!

"You sure have balls calling the person incarnating you as a bitch." oh shit! "Well what did you expect a scum like you would reincarnate as? You left a woman to die just to watch her only a moment ago. What did you think you were gonna be? A unicorn?"

"Y-yeah I guess that's true, but isn't there like...mercy and stuff?" You know? You hear a lot about that stuff often, mercy and stuff like that.

"Do you recall showing mercy to that poor lady?"

"Hey it's not like I pushed her."

"Ah this is taking too much time, let's get this over with." She brings out a book and opens it. "Let's see, non-humans...hmm then animals section, rodents...and yup here it is rats. Bye." She presses a button in the book and I immediately start to feel my existence fading.

"Oh right two quick things." She continues.
"One, you'll retain your conscious and memories as punishment so you could realize your pathetic existence. Two, the world you're incarnating two has magic systems and stuff like that I can't be bothered to explain, figure them out quickly or you'll get hunted quite quickly." 

Wait we're not incarnating to this world?

"Bye bye."

Brady is a 41 year old employee at an app development company who hates his life, he hates his boss, his house, his wife, himself and public performers. 

Then one day as he’s going to work an accident happens leading to his death, he then gets reincarnated as a rat in a fantasy world due to his foul improper life.

He soon discovers the rat community in his black death-stricken world and their trials and decides to enact his revenge on the humans he hates the most. But as a rat....what can he do?

Few days later since Michael joined them, Gabriel is still in his room, he has ate but only during the time Michael and Angeline are patrolling but he still has not spoke to anyone until Raphael decided to read his mind one day when he goes out to eat at the dining room alone. Raphael found out that it was a shock for him when he found out about Michael and Angeline because he has been telling his friends about her, even decided to move to live with her, and he felt embarrassed when Michael announced his relationship. Raphael went to speak to him even if he is not responding.

Raphael: Gabriel, I know you're shocked about Michael and Angeline but I was too, even Marius. I'm sure your friends will understand too, it is not something to be embarrassed about because we all experience the same. Everyone would feel heart broken if they see someone they love being with someone else, and I am sure your friends know that too. It is common. You don't need to sulk in your room the whole day everyday to get her, you won't really get her if you just shut yourself in your room, and does nothing. Besides, even married people get divorce or annulment. (as he learned from other people while reading their minds). Just because she is with someone else right now, does not mean she won't be with you. Do you really want to shut yourself inside your room and not spent time with her or talk to her?

Gabriel finally opened the door and spoke.

Gabriel: I... I'm sorry, I just did not know what to do. This is the first time I ever felt this way. I'm also scared that I might just hurt her feelings if I talk to her and it is hard for me to see her being happy with someone else. I love her so much that it hurts so much. I will try my best to control my feelings, and start talking to her again.

After finally able to convince Gabriel, they both realised how dirty his room got ever since he shut himself in his room, and they also both realised how big the house is and they need someone to look after the house, like cleaning the garden as the garden's grass are growing and some weeds are growing as well, even the times when they are busy, someone always needs to wash the dishes and Angeline is always cooking and when she is tired, they always need to buy food delivery, which is not healthy most of the time. They will need 2 helper in the house. Raphael contacted Angeline as Angeline and Michael are patrolling and Marius is at work. Angeline then talked to Michael about it and Angeline sent a message to Marius. Angeline knows 2 who can be willing to help them as most of her mom's friends are working as part time helper and some are full time, and some are still looking or on call helper. Angeline decided to call them and offered them a job to work for them as their helper at the house. They will both work full time but since one of them, Sanya has her own family living together with them, she will only go to work at their house from Tuesday to Saturday, 8 hours a day, while the other one, Celine works whole day from Sunday to Thursday and will live with them as the chief helper, like a butler but not a maid. Both of them agreed to work for them, well, the offer is a bit higher, the one who works 8 hrs a day will be paid £15 per hour, which is £120 a day. She receives her salary of £600 weekly. Then, the other one will be paid weekly of £1000, which is £200 per day, but her work is whole day with 8 hours of sleep. She will cook, do the laundry (wash and dry on the washing machine, hang them up, fold them, and iron them), do their bed, wash the dishes after dinner, buy groceries, etc. The other one will clean the rooms (sweep the floor everyday and mop every Saturday), and clean the toilet every Tuesday, wash the dishes after breakfast and after lunch). For the garden, the men will take care of that as Angeline told them that a man should do the garden cleaning as it needs someone strong enough or muscular enough to use the machine to clear and cut the grass. Angeline will cook from time to time when the other cook is busy with other chores. The men will take turn cleaning the garden every month. First month will be Michael and Marius, second will be Raphael and Gabriel, then Michael and Marius again. When they finally finished planning regarding the housekeeping for the house and setting up the timetable, and also cleaning the whole house the whole day as the first step, everyone decided to take the day off and go out the whole day. Celine and Sanya took the day off as well, since Raphael told them they will be out the whole day overnight and they don't need to help at home that day until they come back the next day. Angeline then realised they need to get a house blessing to ensure that nothing bad will happen. So Angeline prayed before leaving the house for a while and cast a protection and light spell all over, so she can see what is going on even when they are not around.

Angeline: This is the first time we are all going out together.
Michael: Yup. It is and it has been more than a week already since I joined you guys.
Marius: Yes, and I am going to be our photographer guys. Let's have some pictures.
Gabriel: Nice idea.
Raphael: I wonder what it is like. This is my first time going out with some friends here in your country.
Angeline: Oh right. Don't worry, it is fun. I am sure you will enjoy it.
Raphael: Okay, thanks Angeline.

Michael pulled Angeline towards him inside their big van (spacious inside like a caravan or small house).

Michael: Let's sit here.
Angeline: Okay, but aren't you supposed to drive?
Michael: Oh, you guys didn't hire a driver?
Raphael: I only bought the van as Angeline suggested when we bought the house, we had a customised van specifically made for us. We just got it yesterday.
Michael: Okay, I will drive. Angeline, do you want to sit with me at the front or stay here?
Angeline: I will see, hmmm.. does the seat at the front convertible to bed?
Raphael: I think it is, it is convertible for the driver too in case we all get tired and need to rest, we can park somewhere and get rest.
Angeline: Okay, I will sit at the front, but I need to take some snacks.
Marius: You still like food. Go on a diet.
Angeline: Hmmmppff. I will go on a diet when I need to but right now, I need energy since we are all going to have fun.
Michael: Wait! Where are we going?

Angeline, A simple 28 years old woman is trying to look for a boyfriend to become her husband and was given the responsibility to become the heir of the Mother Pearl that grants the owner the ability to use magic. Who will be able to catch her heart among the men around her: The strong, mystical, and gorgeous prince of the sea, Raphael; the handsome, smart, and rich director, Michael; the friendly,  clever, and muscular musician, Gabriel; the famous talented, and attractive celebrity, Uriel; or the humble womaniser, and average looking photographer, Marius.

After the frenzied slaughter he killed a total of 22 wolf and he was now roasting on of the wolf while enjoying the meal. 

He has so many wounds and scratches but none of it is life threatening, He bandaged himself up and ate. Now staring at the bonfire. 

He reorganize his thoughts and think of the status again on his mind and saw it in front of it again.

So this is the system. I wonder if dad has this system also? Is this the reason why some people get so strong like that lady? No matter I'll ask someone if I saw someone with powers.

After studying the system he asked the system for navigation and he discovered that the system can also store items for him with a limit of 30 Items where he stored some food and water, and also the scythe he can make it appear when he thought of the scythe if he want to draw it in his inventory.

He walk towards on the close stream of river to wash himself up, he removed his clothes and jumped onto the river. On a few meters not far from him on the edge of the river he heard a scream after he jumped and stood up and he stare at that direction. 

And he saw a figure that made him stunned but after a second he was sent flying and slammed on a nearby rock. 

He  coughed blood and shouted "What are you doing?" only to see the goddess earlier from the small lake that slaughtered the basilisk staring at him coldly radiating killing intent.

He was stunned and was gonna try to explain but a gush of power ran towards him he dodge quickly and the rock shattered.

"Hey are you crazy? I didn't even know that you are here why are you doing this? Are you gonna kill me!? I didn't even saw a thing just your face! I'm sorry!" He shouted on the top of his lungs because he knew this lady will really kill him if he didn't wake her up on her frenzy state.

The lady heard him and was stunned, she realized that it was really unreasonable to kill someone for the crimes he didn't even commit, then he looked at the young man on the bowing position no daring to look at him. 

Her killing intent diminished a little but only a little and she spoke. "Why are you here?" She asked.

Regal then replied "Coz I want to take a bath after killing those wolves, the lake isn't yours right?" 
While still bowing Regal is sweating because he knew how strong is this lady. 

The lady heard of her answer and was stunned realizing how silly her question was. She's not on her clan and this is not here property this is the wilderness. 

She blushed with shamed too bad Regal can't see it. She quickly put some clothes on.
"Okay I forgive you because it is not your intention, but if you followed me earlier or harbor malicious thoughts i'll kill you without hesitation" Radiating some of her killing intent. Regal was in a cold sweat but sighed.

"May I ask Ms. name? And why are you here what's this place?" Regal asked.

The lady ignored him and slowly walking away. 

"Hey please I don't know anything about this place and I don't know anyone I just want to ask some directions" He shouted while putting his clothes from his inventory and ran towards the lady. 

The lady looked at him and seeing the sincerity and the bewildered expression with a tinge of like seeing light at an extremely long tunnel she relaxed her vigilance.

"I can't tell you my name, but if you're asking where is this you're in the world of absolute beginning, and this forest is called helix forest" She calmly replied.

Regal then asked again. "Helix forest? Sorry I don't know anything about the outside world. This is my first time venturing the outside world" He then smiled awkwardly bowing it's head like a silly child.

"You never been to outside world? This forest it called the Helix forest, because some said it spiral and twist around the Three realms of the whole Universe. Some says it's connected to Almighty realm, Origin realm and Desolate realm of nothingness. How did you got here then?" She patiently replied seeing Regal like a lost kid.

Regal then thought for a sec before hesitating and replied "I can't really say due to the circumstances but I got here due to some mysterious event that happened". Because Regal is naturally vigilant that if someone somehow knew what happen to him he might get tortured for that secret that even he doesn't know how it happen.

She then thought for a sec and didn't asked further they were strangers after all anyone  has it's own secret she then started walking away from him.

Regal then spoke again. "Wait miss!"

"What now?" While frowning at Regal.

"Can you tell me where's the nearest town here? I don't really know the direction, Just tell me where's the nearest town please". Regal spoke.

She then thought for a moment raising her vigilance if this man harbors any ill intent towards her, but when she thought of a moment on the lake where he was pitifully running but when he has no choice but to fight he'll fight. He didn't even beg for his life the courage even in facing death. This man has some character at least, and he can't hurt me so it's okay to let him tag along on this boring journey.

"Alright I'm going to nearest town also, and as I can see that you're pitifully weak, I'll give you the privilege to tag with along with me, but if you do anything funny I'll kill you understand?" She said radiating killing intent but not that fierce when compared to they were on the river then walk away calmly.

Regal eyes lit up then bowed sincerely "Thank you! My name is Regal, thank you for saving me earlier even tho I know it's a menial task for you. You still save me" then walk a little bit close following her.

2 days after their journey he finished the quest which rewarded him as a newbie reward 5 stat points he can allocate. But he didn't allocate his points yet. Other than hunting asking questions about the world. On he also asked her if she knew about the leveling system that grants people power. 

He also realized that this goddess like lady isn't as cold as she looked on the outside she's pretty amiable to be exact. She's just naturally vigilant and what was shocking was she's the same age as him


The she was surprised on that question, she wasn't surprise because that this knowledge is a secret. She was surprise because everyone even mortal knew of this knowledge. She then explain that this system is blessed by the God Jabek, And God Thymos to gain powers and have the capability to fight others and also the final pilgrimage at the end of the Road the Dome of Pandemonium.

He also learned a lot this past few days. And he got a new quest that he will have to do everyday or else he will be punished by the system which he doesn't dare to experience.

You know all my life I was that guy who was average in every way. I wanted to be good at sports,school, social stuff. 
  The only two thing I was good at was being a coward and fighting. 
  It was really hard trying to stop from breaking everyone's face. 

You see my family was from India and I was that kid that the whole family depended on. 
From the moment I was born, I had my whole life planned ahead of me. My mom was like "my son is going to be a doctor" , my dad was like " he is going to make the family proud". 
      I always felt off whenever someone told me what I want to become in the future. I always said doctor no matter what, it was like I was a machine that was programmed to become a doctor and I could never become anything else. Everyday a little tiny voice in my heart would say that tell your parents you want to become an author. But that voice died a little every single day, when I looked at my parents that had a smile on their face. 
    
    On top of the fact that they were at each other's throats everyday. You know when every kid says that they are the glue that keeps their family together. In my case I was that glue, everyday I had to abandon what I wanted to make them happy, to make my parents happy that was reason of living. 

That's just at home in school it was different, in my culture you were required to never cut your hair and to cover it with a piece of cloth called a turban. 
There were two versions kid version and adult versions. The kid versions was the one I wore until I was 13. The first couple of days of school was fine, but then people got curious and asked about it, I told them about it and I had gained friends. 

Then a couple of months later the shit in my life skyrocketed, one day I saw my one of my "friends" Joshua, bully a scrawny little kid that wore glasses. I the naive person, I  told him to stop and he asked if I really was going to help this nerd and I said that he was being a bully he backed off. Now me and the scrawny kid whose name was Eli became friends and we remained like that for a couple of weeks. 

   Until one day I reached my classroom and my classmates were whispering at me and my teacher was looking at me like I killed her child. She screamed at me and forcefully grabbed my hand and took me to the principals office. I was confused as hell, until I saw Ethan and Joshua with his group of friends. They looked at me and I swear I saw a smug smile on both of their faces before they started sobbing out of nowhere and the next thing I know my parents are being called. I asked what happen and the teacher looked at me and said don't even act like you don't know what happen and I thought you were a nice kid, I am ashamed to be your teacher.

I had an uneasy smile on my face, when my parents got there. The principal looked at them with a grim smile and said Mr and Mrs Singh I am ashamed to tell you that your child has been using some horrible language. I was stunned and denied it. Now the person who I thought was my best friend looked at the principal and said he is lying I heard him calling Joshua and me little a holes. I was completely stunned and everything just turned into a complete blur for me. Until my parents and me got home and I barely took one step into the house and my mom and dad took their shoes and started beating me with them saying" how dare you do this" and after all we have done for you. We have you food and clothing and this is how you repay us. I kept denying it but they didn't listen at all. I had bruises all over. Next day I was about to confront Eli about it but I saw him chatting away with Joshua and his group of punks. He saw me and said" look the loser has arrived, sorry Ethan it was you or me and honestly who would want to be friends with a guy like you". 
     From that day on I completely resigned to fate, everyday I would go next to a girl and she would be like " ewww stay away from me you creep" or when we had an assignment " I can believe I am with Ethan" and let's not forget about the trust friend that always says I feel so bad for you. 
        I just ignored as always crying myself to sleep and whenever coming home from the bus, put a nice smile to keep my parents away. I always stayed at the very brink of breaking down, but as always you guessed it, I had to stay strong for my parents. 

One day I met an old man on the street, he felt like a tree not like those strong trees. He had the calming presence of one, like a place where you can relax and take a deep relaxing fresh breath of air from.

He asked me " hey kid you all right" I said " yeah sorry I was just disoriented a little". He said if something was bothering me. For some reason I felt like this old man could take what happen and not just give me some crappy philosophy. He had a look if astonishment on his face as I told Hume what was happening. He looked at me in the eyes and asked why don't I just ignore my parents and do what I want. I said " if I don't fulfill their dreams, who will". 

" They are in their late fifties, everyday when I get the courage ready, they bring me gifts, medical books, laptops. It gets harder and harder because I can see them becoming more and more desperate in their eyes. I can only hope to have better luck in my next life". By the time I was done he looked at me as if I was a puzzle he couldn't figure out. 

   He gave a hearty laugh out loud and gained this twinkle in his eye and  he gained this aura around him that told me this was now a fierce dragon that has regained his reason to live. He said" 
Child you are an enigma and I appreciate that and also thank you for giving this old man a reason to keep on  fighting. 
 
As I grew older I eventually forgot about that old man, I just kept on moving. 
I felt like I was going through an eternal blizzard and I was just a tiny flame on the verge of flickering out. 

One day I saw these 2 guys fighting over which book is better, they called it manga and I was very bored so I searched it up. That day I felt like I discovered an whole new world. It was amazing, I loved all these manga and movies Naruto, Bleach, One piece, MCU, DC and all the other amazing pieces of works out there. I always imagined to go and travel these worlds to do what I want. They were my solace in my life. Something I could do and nobody could bother me. I became a therapist because I wanted to help people with their issues and I wanted to be someone that people could rely on and even though I had no one that I could rely on. I mean I still can't believe I am reliving my life as I am coming back from work like seriously. " I swear I need to stop having these internal monologues". All of a sudden a bunch of pedestrians start screaming at me to watch out. I being the dumb froze because I was confused and then I felt it the force of a literal ton hits my back and I go flying and for a split second I felt unimaginable amount of pain coursing through my body. When I hit the ground, my body was already numb and I knew I wouldn't survive. So I closed my eyes and waited and there it was I felt free, like free free it felt like all your life you have been moving with one leg and one arm tied behind and you have a giant boulder on your back. I was at peace I had done it I was free, but just no the way I wanted to be.
