In the beginning of the school year, Serenity Luope and Adrian Weila were assigned to the same dorm room. Shocked at first, Serenity starts being vigilant towards him. Unexpectedly, Adrian falls first. 
Let's see where this rollercoaster of feelings will take them.

We got back to SNPC and once again Mary showed me the way back to my dorm. She helped me get all my stuff to the porch of my dorm. "Thanks Mary, I guess I'll see you later." "No problem, if you ever need to talk about anything, my office is room 319 and my number is 469-764-8972." "Thanks Mary." 


       I started bringing my stuff in my room of the dorm when my dorm mates noticed how much I had. "We could help you if you want." Max said. "We could?" asked Melanie to David. Max elbowed Melanie, "Yes, we could." "Thank you, I really appreciate it." I said. "Cool, so what can we do to help?" Melanie asked. "Just bring my stuff outside of my room, I can take care of the rest." "You got it." Max said. 


       Soon enough all of my stuff was put up in my room the way

 I wanted it to be. "Thanks guys, you didn't have to do that." I said after I was done. "Hey, that's what friends are for." Max replied with  a smile. "It's nice to know I have friends here. I'm still not used to living here and having supernatural powers." "You'll get used to it eventually." Melanie said right before she hugged me.


       "So you start your classes tomorrow right?" David asked. "Yeah, I'm a little nervous. I've never had supernatural classes before. What are they like?" "Well, in supernatural classes they teach us how to use our powers. The more we learn about them and practice them, the stronger they get." David said. "They also teach us some spells to use when defending ourselves, or spells to use in general." Max added. "Some spells take up more energy than others. Some are really easy to cast, others aren't." Melanie said. "I guess that doesn't sound so bad." I said. 


       "So, what are your classes?" Melanie asked. "My first period is advanced math and fire magic. My second period is advanced english and emotion control. My third period is advanced chemistry and basic spells. My fourth period is advanced history and weather control. My fifth period is magical self defense. My sixth period is  sun/light magic. My seventh period is art and my eighth period is a cooking class."


       "The cooking class sounds fun. Does that mean you'll cook for us?" Max asked with a hopeful smile. I laughed "Sure, just not everyday."  "Speaking of cooking, we really need to eat dinner. Any suggestions?" Melanie said. "Lasagna?" David asked. "I don't know how to make lasagna." Max said. "I usually cook because these two have no cooking ability." Max explained. "Oh. Well, I know how to make lasagna. I could show you how." I offered. "That would be great, thanks." Max replied.


       Max and I went to the store within the supernatural community to get what we needed. When we arrived back at the dorm we started cooking. We put the lasagna in the oven and talked while we waited for it to be ready. 


       "Have you always known you were a supernatural being?" I asked. "No, I found out when I was thirteen years old. I thought it was super cool when all of the sudden I could talk to my dog. My parents caught me talking to him one day and sent me here. I've been here ever since." "That sounds terrible. Do you ever miss your parents?" I asked concerned. "Yeah, but we talk on the phone almost every day and video chat a few times every now and then." 


       "Well at least you can still talk to your parents." I said sadly. "I'm sorry you lost parents. I can't even imagine the pain it puts you through." "Yeah, it's really hard going on in life without them. The first night I came here I cried for two hours. I just want my parents back so badly. I can't believe they're really gone." I felt my eyes start to water then I looked down at my feet. A single tear rolled down my face. Max tilted my head back up and wiped my tear away. "You'll get through this, I promise." Max wrapped me in a tight bear hug. The timer on the oven went off. Max let me go and took the lasagna out of the oven. "Wow that smells good." He looked at me "It's gonna be ok." he said sympathetically. "Eventually." I replied with a sad smile. 


       I wiped the rest of my tears away and called out "Dinner's ready!" Melanie and David came in and we all ate our dinner. After dinner David did the dishes, Max wiped down the counters, Melanie swept the floor, and I took the trash out.


       I was standing outside by the trashcan when a shadow-like creature appeared, at first I thought I was seeing things but then it tried to attack me. On instinct I shot a small ball of light at it and it disappeared, leaving behind a small black rock. I picked it up and put it in my pocket.


       When I went back inside I said goodnight to everyone then went to bed. I don't know what that shadow thing was or why it left behind that rock, but I was tired and had to be up early the next day for my new school.

"What do you think vegan zombies eat?" a girl said as I walked into my dorm room, I'd like to assume she's my roommate mostly because she's the only one in the room, she's currently sitting on a bed to the right side of the room talking on her cellphone. I took that to mean the left side of the room was mine. When she saw me step into the room she quickly waved at me.

"Hey, my new roomy just showed up, I'll talk to you later." With that, she hangs up her cell phone, gets off her bed and walks over to me, to stand directly in front of me.

"Welcome, I'm Luna." she then stretches her hand out towards me, I put my hand into hers to shake it, as I doing that I realize I haven't sneezed once since I've been in the room with her meaning she's a witch as well. That's so awesome. I as I let go of her hand I smile and say "Hi I'm Hazel." 

she lets my hand go. "It's nice to meet you. would it be weird to assume your a witch like me." she asks me looking at me with her bight blue eyes, 

"Nope, I'm actually really glad my roommate is a witch, I don't know how I'd act if you were a different supernatural creature, not that it would be weird or anything. maybe I just wouldn't be able to hold in my excitement with the whole always being around so many humans or something." I said with one huge breath.

Luna looked at me for a second before laughing and saying "Woah. and here I thought you would be the quiet one out of the two of us. Hey is this your first stop?." 

I blinked at her a little before saying and twidling my thumbs "Not really, I checked out the nurse's office first." I said looking away from her.

Luna suddenly gasped at me. "Your the girl who fainted in front of the school a few hours ago." she said, I could tell if she was looking at me because my head was turned but I'd assume she was. 

I felt my head dip and I swallowed a little before saying "yeah." 

Luna moved to kneel in front of me, "That really scared some people, few people thought someone put a curse on you or something. What happened? If you don't mind me asking." 

"It's my gift, I don't know how to, I just don't know." I looked at her, I didn't know how or want to say about it, It wasn't like it was something I couldn't control that wasn't it, it was more like I wasn't strong enough. 

"I get it, my gift is kind an asshole too." Luna said softly to me, 

"It just takes practice and getting stronger to handle it." I nodded at her,

"yeah the nurse gave me this bracelet." I said while holding my wrist out to her.

"That's nice, what exactly is your gift, ya know since we're talking about it," Luna asked 

"I can sneeze out supernatural creatures, it's kind of cool talking about it but it's a whole different ball when your actually experiencing it," I said to her, Luna suddenly stood up and moved a little more into the room, 

"I get what you mean." she bit the left side of her cheek, held out her hand as if she was reaching for something. I tilted my head at her. I saw something move from the corner on my eye to see, a green stuff Lizard flies into her waiting hand. I felt my mouth drop, I quickly closed and was about to say something however she spoke first. 

"Little things like this are easy, but when I get sad or angry, that when the real trouble begins, I just can't control it, but this is nothing to want some of the other students to have to go through." She said to me holding the lizard close to her. 

I was going to say something but she continued to speak.

"Enough of this sad talk, Let me show you the dining hall, so you know where to get food and all that good stuff." She said placing the lizard on a chair I hadn't noticed until now, she turned to leave the room, but before I went to follow her I wanted to look around the room at first.

There were two beds, one on each side of the room. at the end of the bed, there were desks and a table in the middle of the room with small chairs surrounding it. it seemed pretty cozy, I took out my phone and quickly send a picture to my family before I forgot. This dimension has amazing service. 

"Hazel come on, we should enjoy the dinning all before all the other students get here," Luna called to me from the hall. "Coming," I yelled back to her and started to walk out of the room.

We made it into the dining hall, and I can honestly say I like the dorm room better, why because I wasn't sneezing in there.

"ACHOO!! ACHOO!! ACHOO!!" I had sneezed about 20 times different time at this point, I was surrounded by a little more than 40 students, which was fine thanks to this bracelet nurse Jess gave me, about four sneezes for a were-creature, as I got more in control with my gift I'd be able to tell which exactly were-creature it is, five sneezes is a fairy, they aren't nearly as small as I'd imagine. apparently, they can change their size it a defense mechanism, six is for mermaids, they're pretty rare even for this school.

Luna told me the school has an underwater section for them, but as I'm told they don't really socialize with different species, because even though this is a place to learn, doesn't mean everyone gets along. Vampires and werewolves fight all the time here, big shocker there.

Eight sneezes is a banshee and nine is a Leprechaun apparently they grow about the same height as human do and when they turn a certain age the shrink they usually have red or black hair and beautiful green eyes. I'm finding out that if the supernatural creature seems at a high power level I sneeze more, more maybe I'm over thinking this and the number has nothing to do with anything.

"HELLO!" Luna shouted at me while waving a hand in front of my face. 

"Does she do that a lot?" Brett asked, he's one of ten male born banshees, that goes to this school, banshees are usually female, meeting him is a real honor. Luna looked to him.

"I don't know, I legit met her like an hour ago." she said to him, while shugging she shoulders. 

"sorry, I was thinking and I don't do that a lot." I said sheepishly a while lying about the end bit, they didn't need to know that.

"She's lying." A girl said as she was walking past the table we were currently sitting at, and went to sit at her own table she looked like a real life barbie doll, I mean that in the nicest way.

"That's Mackenzie O'Brien, she's basically a lie detector," Brett said, as he finished his sandwich. 

"What? Exactly is she though." I was kind of confused, I didn't sneeze once, that's weird, right?

"She's one of the gifted, she's human. that's probably why you didn't sneeze." Luna said, oh wow I've never met a gifted before that's cool, this is entire school is school. 

"Hey, did you two get your class schedule yet?" Brett asked us, Luna and I looked at each other before looking back at him

"Brett that's literally the first thing we got." Brett's eyes went wide and he stood from the table immediately started running out of the dinning hall to get his schedule, he yelled '"bye" and was gone. It took Luna and me about a second to burst out laughing.

"Come on, I'll introduce you to a few friends, and then we should probably unpack and set up the dorm. so, we can get it out of the way."

Luna and I were at her friend's dorm about to knock when we heard "You're lucky you have a date at all. you'll wear what I tell you to wear!" Luna let out a small laugh, before just going ahead and opening the door anyway, inside the room were two girls and a guy they all looked a bit older than me.

I let out a small sneeze, and was able to tell the guy was a werewolf, I looked to the side to see a girl was laying down on the bed to the left side of the room looking at the guy and the girl standing in the middle of the room, they were having a stare down. Luna grabbed my hand and lead me closer to the girl laying down.

"What'd we miss?" Luna asked the girl and pulled me to sit down with her on the floor, all while we could still get a good look at the fight happening in front of us. 

" Zeric got Avalon a date this weekend with Carter Mathew's." The girl said, Luna looked impressed, "How'd that happen?"

"I'm not entirely sure." the girl said rolling on her back and looking up at the ceiling. 

"Ugh, you're unbelievable," Avalon said crossing her arms and looking at the girl on the bed and probably just realizing that we were in the room. 

"Luna! Zeric is being a jerk." Avalon wined at her.

"Sorry but he's right you have no idea how to dress cute." Avalon's mouth dropped.

"Mandy, you're on my side right?" Avalon asked, looking at the girl on the bed, whose name I just found is Mandy. 

"It's whatever, I say let her wear whatever she wants if she wants to go on her first date dressed as a farmer let her," Mandy says with a laugh.

"Dressed like a farmer," Avalon said quietly, she was making a sad face and pouting her lips. she quickly turned to Zeric and walked over to him, grabbed the outfit in his hand and walked into the bathroom connected to the room. 

Did we have a bathroom in our dorm? I've gotta check when we get back later. 

"You think we were a little harsh on her?" Luna asked, "I mean if he really likes her, he'll like her no matter what she wears." Luna continued.

"True, but honestly," Zeric says but stops to look at the bathroom door to make sure it's still closed before walking over to us, "I just did this to mess with Carter," He says with a knowing smirk. 

"No way!" Mandy says as she rolls back to her side with a huge smile.

"How is that possible?" Luna asked 

"Apparently, since he's been attending this school, he's had a witch block the bond, so he could focus on his studies or something," Zeric says as he rolls his eyes.

"I'm so confused," I stated looking at them weirdly. Zeric tiled his head at me and Mandy just giggled, Luna leaned closer to me and whispered: "They're mates." I felt my eyes widen, and I slapped a hand over my mouth and removed it a little and said, "That's so cute."

Hazel Sparks Smith is a witch, kind of.
Well one is training. She can sneeze out supernatural Creatures. However, she isn't very good at remembering spells or even casting them. She can't fly a broom stick, doesn't even have her magical partner yet.
 
Fliss Academy a school for the supernatural. Lucky for Hazel she get a full scholarship. Because of her crazy old grandmother, who just so happens to be one of the greatest witches to ever live.

Let's just hope Hazel can live up too the hype.

The following morning Cat woke up in the hospital and was confused of why she was here and 
suddenly realized that a car had hit her when she was running to the bus stop. Cat's father was
worried sick for her daughter's health and he canceled the meeting he had at his company to stay by her side. The owner of the car got informed the person he had hit was awake now and for them to discuss an outcome and possibly a solution. Cat just suffered minor injuries and will be able to go home today and just need to keep in mind if anything worsen Cat will need to be checked by the hospital again. The owner of the car, William is the CEO of a company Cat's dad partnered with. While they talked about what he should do to make up to Cat. Cat gotten in a sadder mood of what happened and decided to tell her father what happened when they got home. She didn't listen to what her father and he dude had to say.
          William CEO of the company had some business he needed to attend to and asked his secretary to attend the business with the car issue. Cat soon got ready to get back home and on her way back home she asked her father if she can move out of her house and live in the dormitory. Cat explained the reason to her father, how Alexa stole her boyfriend and couldn't see them together. Her father agreed and makes sure that she know that he loves her and she deserves better than what her boyfriend, now ex, did to her. Cat hugged her father and told him she love him too. The rest of the ride home was quiet. Since it was still afternoon, Cat have decided to get the paper works to live in the dorm and packed her stuff at her house. She waited till the next day and got informed that her request have been approved and now Cat can finally live without her step sister and step mom. Cat said goodbye to her father and sat in the car while the driver drove her to her school campus grounds. 
           Cat thanked her driver to drop her there and left with her luggage. She was told by the school that she will be having two roommates. She asked the lady at the dorm where her room was and overheard by a girl walking past. 
The girl walking pass, Sally "Oh my god, are u also in room 301?" 
Cat asked her "Yes and may I ask that if you know where that is?" 
Sally knew where that was "Ya, of course that's where I live and are you my new roommate?"
Cat finally relieved that someone knew what it was "Yes, I got put in room 301b and do u know how the rooms work" 
   (By now they have totally ignored the lady Cat was tryin to ask help from)
Sally said "Of course I do, so the room area is split into three equal sections or you can call it rooms, and theres also a kitchen/eating area and and a couch place for us to relax. And by the way did I mention Rose, she is our other roommate, recently got a tv in the couch area and she will be willing to share it with us." 
Cat said  "Omg that's so cool if it's okay for you can you bring me to our room(s)"
Sally was happy she was able to help someone "Yea totally I was gonna go there anyways so why not"
Cat felt grateful and thanked her "Oki thanks a lot, by the way how rude of me I forgot to introduce me. My name is Catherine and u can call me Cat for short and what is your name miss?"
Sally said "My name is Sally (obviously) and nice to meet you" 
Cat nervously said "Nice to meet you too Sally and can we go now I'm kinda a little hungry and I don't wanna hurt my tummy's feelings"
Sally laughed "Haha of course your so humorous by the way" 
            They ended the conversation and Sally lead Cat to their rooms. It was bigger then expected and cat looked around. 
Cat, "So this is where it is"
Sally, "Yea do u like it?"
Cat, "Yes I absolutely adore the cute decorations" 
              The door was opened again and Rose walked in. 
Rose whispers to Sally, "who is this" 
Sally, "Oh this is Cat and she is our new roommate she just got here today" 
Cat, "Hi I'm Cat and I heard your name was Rose. Nice to meet u." 
Rose, "Nice to meet you too, Cat" 
Sally, "Anyways since it's Cat's first day here let's talk about our self and relax in the comfortable couch" 
              They sat down and had a conversation. While they talked Cat had a cup of Ramon noodles that she made from the kitchen area. That was what all they had.
Sally said "I'll start with myself. My name is Sally Brown everyone call me 'brownie' haha yummy. I'm 20 years old and is in this college for 3 years now and I majoring in the scientist field."
Rose added "Ok, now I'll introduce myself, my name is Rose Jones and people tend to call me rosy. I'm in the technology field and know my way around computer and is also good at hacking computer systems' database. Is currently 21 and been in this college for three years I probably skipped two grades so yeah" 
Cat continued "Okie now it's my turn *took another sip of the Ramon noodle soup*. First of all nice to meet both of you. My name is Cat and is will be turning 18 in December. I'm in the business and financial field. I'm in this college for two years now. My father excepted a lot from me so he hired tutors when I was three and was homeschooled until college with is two years ago that I went to a real 'school'. Anyways it's getting late now do you guys mind if I get going on unpacking my stuff" 
Sally said "Yea sure sorry for holding you so long"
Rose included "Ya go ahead"
Cat left "Oki thanks talk to ya soon"
                Cat went in her room and unpacked her stuff. She took a shower after the long day and decided to call it a day until she realized when the CEO of that whatever so company, William left her a business card with his info on it and told her if she ever needed help she can go find him, it just like William (Will for short) owed him a favor. Cat didn't think to much of it at that time. She still had work the next day so she need to sleep early. Cat's schedule was always so regular like she was never late and never missed a day or school or work, even when she was sick so told herself she can do it and won't let sickness become an excuse for her laziness. She fell asleep on her laptop after a while of  reviewing her classwork and homework from last week.

Catherine is just a normal collage girl who works part time at a coffee shop. Things all changed for her when she found out her boyfriend was cheating on her with her step sister, Alexa. Due to the reason Catherine (Cat for short) ran out in the rain and got hit by a car............she woke up and found her self ending up in a hospital....the driver was there and they figured a solution...........

The next day, Emma and Wyatt take Jackson with them to Savvy Threads. Jackson didn't really want to go, but Emma insisted that he should at least try doing anything other than laying in bed. When they get there, Emma greets Matilda and Emily. "Go on" Emma says to Jackson, "at least be nice to Emily".
  Jackson sighs and says "What's up, Emily?".
  Emily responds by nervously waving a hand in the air while wearing a fake smile. "Uh... hey?" Emily says. 
  "Somehow, that's exactly the response I expected" Jackson says. 
  "Look, Jackson" Emily says, "it's not that I hate you or anything... but I also don't recall us particularly getting along super well. Like, we haven't really spoken all that much to each other".
  "Oh thank god" Jackson says. "The feeling is mutual". Jackson then looks at Emma and asks "Can I go now?".
  "No" Emma says, "try actually getting along with people...".
  Jackson groans and then says "Fine! I don't even know what to talk about here".
  "Sucks that you and Aeris... broke up" Emily says, trying to find something to talk about. There was a long awkward silence, then Emily says "This is awkward".
  "Yeah, I'm waiting outside of the store now..." Jackson says as he points his thumb at the door. 
  "... Anyways" Wyatt says, "any job opening for here, Matilda?".
  "Oh, yes" Matilda says. "We'll have to schedule a time for you to talk to Dylan about the job, that way he can interview you and stuff. If he decides you can take the job, you can work as my assistant".
  "Hopefully it works out then" Emma says. 
  "It'll be cool and all having a familiar face to work with" Emily says, "but I also imagine it'll start being a little awkward staying here".
  "Why's that?" Emma asks. 
  "I dunno" Emily says. "I don't really think I'd have much to talk about. So if you do get the job here, don't be surprised if it's constantly quiet".
  "Anyways" Matilda says, "Dylan should be here tomorrow morning before noon. If you want to stop by to talk with him then, you're free to come".
  "Tomorrow morning, got it!" Wyatt says. 
  As the two of them leave, Emma waves at Matilda and Emily. "Thanks again, Matilda!" Emma says. "And see you later, Emily!".
  "Yeah" Emily says, "take care".
  "I'm glad to see you two are getting along" Matilda says to Emily. 

  "Can we go back finally?" Jackson asks as the two of them leave the store.
  "Yes, we can go back" Wyatt says. 
  "Good" Jackson replies. "It's cold out here".
  "You could've stayed inside, you know?" Emma asks.
  "Yeah, but that involves talking to people" Jackson says. After the three of them get back to the dorm, Jackson asks "So, how do you plan on keeping Emma hidden in the dorm for so long?".
  Wyatt shrugs and says "It's been working so far".
  "Well..." Jackson says, "I know she doesn't have a place to return to, so make sure you don't let anybody else know that we're keeping Emma here. If the school finds out, they'll probably be furious". Immediately after that, a loud knock is heard on the door of the dorm. "Do... you usually get visitors?" Jackson asks. 
  "N-no... not really" Wyatt says. Wyatt stands up to answer the door, but the door suddenly swings open. 
  "Wyatt!" Darren says as he opens the door. Darren then notices Jackson and Wyatt sitting in a room with Emma. "Oh, I'm sorry..." Darren says as he awkwardly closes the door. 
  "No, wait!" Wyatt says, "it's not what you think! I can explain!".
  "Yes, please do explain" Jackson says. "Knowing you, it won't be a very good explanation".
  Darren opens the door again, then walks inside the room. "What's going on?".
  "Well..." Wyatt says, "Emma doesn't have a place to stay, so I'm keeping her here".
  "Uh-huh..." Darren says. "You know this is the boy's dorm, right?".
  "Y-Yeah" Wyatt says. 
  "So... is she your girlfriend?" Darren asks. 
  "Y-Yeah..." Wyatt says. 
  "And there it is" Jackson says, "the perfect explanation for a misunderstanding!".
  "So that's why you're keeping her here!" Darren says. 
  "Wait, no! I-" Wyatt says. 
  "Look, I get it" Darren says. "I won't tell a soul".
  "I don't think you are getting it..." Wyatt says in frustration. "So how'd you know which dorm is mine?".
  "Oh, that's easy!" Darren says. "I knocked on every door and bursted into everyone's room shouting your name like an idiot!".
  "... Really?" Wyatt asks. 
  "No..." Darren says. "I asked Ms. Weber to look up your name of the dorm list... did you honestly think I'd do that?".
  "Pfft- I like this guy!" Jackson says. 
  "Ayyy!" Darren says as he makes a finger gun gesture at Jackson. "So, you are?".
  "Jackson Lonny" Jackson says. "I'm in the same class as Wyatt... and in the club too, I guess".
  "Oh yeah, aren't you that laibah kid everyone was talking about?" Darren asks. 
  "Yep" Jackson says. 
  "Oh... so how many of us here are laibah?" Darren asks. 
  "In this room?" Wyatt asks. "I'm the only human here at the moment...".
  "Oh, so you're a laibah too?" Darren asks as he looks at Emma. 
  "Y-Yeah..." Emma says. "I believe I already introduced myself to you before. I'm Emma Frey".
  "Darren Forray" Darren says as he forces Emma to shake his hand.
  "What'd you wanna come here to talk about?" Wyatt asks. 
  "Right" Darren says, "so around this time, people in high school and stuff usually come to colleges like these to see what their possible future college looks like. Earlier today, I ran into a certain someone who also wanted to see you".
  "Me?" Wyatt asks.
  "I told him to wait by the gate and I'll bring you to him" Darren says, "but seeing as to how it'll be dangerous to keep going in and out with your girlfriend over there, I'll try bringing him to you".
  "Wait, who is it?" Wyatt asks. However, Darren leaves without answering. After a long silence, Darren comes back with a rather big surprise. "K-Kemal!?" Wyatt asks. "What are you doing here!?".
  "Kemal?" Jackson asks. 
  "So this is your brother?" Emma asks. 
  "Brother!?" Jackson asks. "Holy hopping hell, there's two of them!?".
  "What's up, Wyatt?" Kemal asks. 
  "H-how'd you get down here?" Wyatt asks. "Is mom okay? What are you doing all the way out here?".
  "Whoa, slow down there" Kemal says. "Let's see if I can answer these questions first. Umm... I took the city bus, mom is fine, and I'm here to check out what kinda school you go to".
  "So mom and dad are doing fine then?" Wyatt asks. 
  "Well, dad is still a grumpy old man, but yeah" Kemal says. "In fact, they're both better than fine now. Dad got a promotion, mom got a raise and we're financially stable for the first time ever. In fact, they're doing so well that I'm finally able to leave my job and come to school".
  "W-What?" Wyatt asks. 
  "I'll be coming here next year" Kemal says. "I've gotta look out for my little brother, don't I?".
  "But you'll be a year lower than him..." Jackson says. "It'll be more like he's watching out for you".
  "Same difference" Kemal says. 
  "N-no... no it is not..." Jackson says.

  "I-it's f-fine..." Emma says. Emma then thinks about the words Kemal said, "Future sister in law" and laughs nervously again. 
  "This room is kinda cramped, ain't it?" Kemal asks.
  "Gee, I wonder why" Jackson says. "Couldn't be the fact that it was designed to only hold two people at a time, yet here we are with five people...".
  "Is there anyone else I should meet?" Kemal asks. 
  "Oh yeah!" Darren says. "Wyatt actually has a bunch of friends now!".
  "Really?" Kemal asks. 
  "I know, it's surprising isn't it?" Darren asks. "He was always so quiet and awkward when we were all just little kids!".

  "Yeah" Kemal says. "Probably the most freedom we've ever had in our lives, to be honest".
  "Maybe I can actually look for other career opportunities now..." Wyatt says. 
  "You mean... like Matilda's suggestion of being a teacher?" Emma asks. 
  "Yeah" Wyatt says, "maybe I should look into that after all. I was worried about getting into a job that was too far from home, because I was sure mom and dad would need my help by the time I graduated".

However, dad never really got angry. He did tell me that involving myself with too many laibah would drag me into trouble like it did with Darren, but all that trouble wasn't Darren's fault. He knows we get along with laibah well, and he doesn't hate it. He's just constantly worried that we're getting into fights".
  "And if he knew Wyatt was dating one?" Jackson asks. 
  "Yeah..." Kemal says, "I always thought he'd get so mad about us being friends with laibah, that he'd probably pop a vein. However, he's surprisingly okay with it. I'm sure as long as Wyatt stays out of trouble, he won't have any problems with accepting Emma".
  "See?" Darren says, "you're practically all set up then! There won't be any issues if you two get married!".
  "M-m-married!?" Emma panics. 
  "Pfft- HA HA HA HA HA!" Jackson laughs out loud. "Man, this is really helping me cheer up!".

  "It's official" Jackson says as he slowly stops laughing, "you're idiots".
  Now Kemal makes a finger gun gesture at Jackson and says "That's pretty mean".
  "I like you guys" Jackson says. "You say some silly stuff, AND you embarrass both Emma and Wyatt. This is quite the show!".

"Elizabeth, the principal will see you now." said the lady behind the desk of the Nightingale academy private school.

Standing up with a sigh she walked into the room that had the principal's name on it.

"Miss Elizabeth Cole, I presume."

"Um, yes ma'am." Liz mumbled nervously.

"Take a seat." the principal ordered.

Not hesitating Liz sat down in the leather chair in front of the principal's desk. The principal pulled a stack of papers out of a drawer in her desk. Motioning to a few papers, "This it the paperwork stating what room you will stay in, who your roommate is and where the dorm is located." Motioning to other paperwork in the pile she lifted up a map, "We have arranged for a guide to take you to all of your classes but this will get you everywhere you need to be if you lose your guide, it's a map of the entire school grounds."

She pulled up something on the computer and printed it out. "This is your schedule, there are five classes. You will of course have English, Math, Science, and History the last class is the one you chose which is chorus. Does that sound correct to you?" she asks Liz.

"Yes, yes ma'am." she stumbles out as she looks at all the papers the principal is handing to her. "Your guide will take you to your room and he will make sure you are situated. Have a nice day." says the principal as she turns back to her computer.

Liz sits there for a moment then gathers her papers, gets up and walks out.

"Are you Elizabeth?" asks a lanky young man standing next to the front desk as she is closing the door.

He is about five foot eight, tan, green eyes and has silverish hair.

"Liz." she mumbles as he looks at her questioningly.

"Call me Liz." she clarifies.

"Whatever just follow me." he states.

She looks at the ground nervously then straightens and moves closer.

He leads her out of the office and to the female dorms without saying a word. When they stop he says "My name is Grey. Just don't think this makes us friends since you know my name."

"Where are my bags?" Liz asks trying to push her nerves aside.

"They are in your room. Your roommate should be up there waiting for you as well."

"How do I know which room is mine?" she asks her voice giving away that she is slightly scared.

He smiled sensing her fear, "Remember that piece of paper the principal gave you. If you look at it there will be a number match that number to the number on the door and that is your room."

"Oh, yeah sorry. I forgot." she says quietly as she shuffles through the papers in her arms, locating the paper with her dorm information on it.

Grey hands her a key. "This is the key that will get you in. Have a lovely day." he says sarcastically as he turns to leave.

"Wait," she calls. "what about showing me around?"

"That's what a map is for."

"But the principal said that you would show me around."

Grey sighs heavily, "Get your roommate to do it I have more important things to do." he states as he walks off leaving her alone.

"Oh, yeah okay, um thanks for all your help." she says when he is out of earshot. After looking at the papers, and asking a few people if she was on the right floor, she finds her room, and taking a deep breath she walks in.

                   ------

Liz looked around and took in the dorm. It was roomy. She walked down a small hallway and found the kitchen on one side and a locked door on the other that Liz realized was a bathroom after she put her ear to the door and heard water running.

Walking further through the hall she entered the actual room that she was to sleep in, one side was decorated with posters and quotes and the other she presumed was hers as the bed held all her bags and belongings that she had brought with her.

Walking over to the bed she set down all her papers, no sooner had she done that she heard a door open behind her.

"Oh, I hadn't realized that you would be here yet I thought I still had time." said Liz's roommate as she walked out of the bathroom in her towels.

"Oh, um, yeah, my guide kind of gave me the map tour, so it was over fast." Liz said shyly as she watched her room mate get dressed.

"I'm Crystal. I'll be your roommate until one of us leaves." She said smiling "do you mind if i call you Eliza?" she asked liz.

Liz smiled, grateful to have met someone who was actually kind to her, "No, i don't. You said Crystal right?"

Crystal smiled "Yup that's me, pretty as a diamond." she chucked. "I'm just kidding."

Liz gave a quiet laugh. "I know I just got here so do you mind if I have a few minutes to unpack and get cleaned up?"

Crystal smiled, "Not a problem, I need to go by the supermarket anyway and get a few groceries, my numbers on the fridge if you need anything don't be afraid to call."

With that, Crystal tied up her shoes and walked out the door humming a song that Liz recognized.

Once Crystal was gone Liz began unpacking. She set up her bed and got all her clothes into the dresser beside it. Looking around at all her stuff she smiled, satisfied.

Realizing that she had only spent 15 minutes getting all her stuff together and Crystal probably wouldn't be back for a while she got into the shower.

After her shower Liz got dressed and sat on her bed not knowing what to do. She remembered seeing a park on the way to the dorms from the office and decided that she was going to go for a walk to clear her head. So she wrote a note to Crystal explaining where she was going, put it on the fridge and headed out the door to the park.

Grey finally gets back to the dorm room after showing the new girl to the female dorm rooms. As he is walking into the room Jack is walking out of the shower with nothing but a towel on. He stops in the middle of the room and looks at Grey.

"Where have you been?" he asks Grey.

"Got called to the office to show a new girl around campus but I just dropped her off at the dorms and left her in the hands of her roommate. Why what's up man?" he answered. As he was talking Jack had gotten dressed and thrown on a coat.

"What was her name and room number?" asked Jack hastedly.

"Her name is Elizabeth and I don't know here room number I didn't care to know, so I didn't ask. Where are you going?" replied Grey

"I'm going out for a walk. Please don't follow and definitely don't let the pack follow do you understand Grey." stated Jack firmly.

"Yes, I do Frost." responded Grey submissively.

Without another word, Jack leaves the room.

Making his way over to the female dorms, Jack walks around trying to see if he can pick up the scent of the new girl. As he gets there he picks up her scent and follows it to the park that is in the middle of the campus. There he sees a brunette, who looks to be about five foot four, sitting all by herself on the little swing set that is across from the picnic area. Walking over to the swing he looks at her, "May I sit?" he asks sweetly.

She is taken back by his kindness being that no one except for her roommate has been kind to her since she had gotten to the school.

"You can if you would like." she says quietly.

"Are you a new student here?" asks Jack as he sits in the swing next to her.

"Yes, I just got here this morning." she relaxed a bit.

He looks at her, smiling and asks "So how are you liking it so far?"

She looks at the ground nervously and says "Well I guess it's nice. The principal seem a little strict and the guy who showed me to the dorms wasn't all that nice. Everyone seems cool but they don't want to help they just blow me off like I'm nothing. Oh by the way my name is Elizabeth Cole but you can call me Liz if you want."

"Liz," he says testing the name, "Liz, I like that, it's a very pretty name. You can call me Jack my full name is Jack Crowe but everyone seems to call me Jack Frost or Frost." offering his hand for her to shake.

She looks at him sideways and giggles "That's cute." accepting his hand.

"So tomorrow if you don't have any plans would you like me to show you around campus?" he asks stumbling on his words.

She blushes "That sounds nice, thank you Mr. Frost." she says teasingly feeling oddly comfortable in his presence.

"Yeah any time. Are your eyes two different colors?" Jack asks.

"Yes, I hate it. I think it is horrible!" she answers getting kind of defensive.

Looking at her with a slight blush and a small smile he says "Well this might come off a little weird since we just met but I think your eyes are beautiful. Again I'm sorry if that's a little weird."

Her eyes light up and she starts to blush really hard and says as she stumbles on her words "It's not weird I think it's nice and the idea that you are blushing makes it cute."

"Would you like me to go." Jack asks her as he realizes that maybe he interrupted her alone time or thinking that maybe she didn't want him there. "I feel like I interrupted something?"

She looks at him and gets very hyper "No, no, no, please stay. I don't understand but you being here is very calming, I like it. It's the first time I've felt like this in a while and it's nice. Please don't go." She almost whispers the last part.

He smiles and says "Okay I'll stay then. Actually, why don't we go to the coffee shop just a little ways that way." he suggests pointing down the street. "It's starting to get dark out and it gets cold here at night."

She looks at him, just noticing how chilly it was starting to get out. "Okay, yeah, that sounds nice."

They both get up and start heading over to the coffee shop.

About half way there she slips her hand into his. He looks at her surprised and she immediately takes her hand away, "I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking. I shouldn't have done that we just met. I don't know what came over me. You must think I'm weird now."

They both stop and he gently grabs her hand and looks at her with a smile, "It's not weird trust me, for some odd reason I feel a connection between us and I've wanted to do the same thing but didn't want to freak you out."

She blushes and they start walking again. They don't say anything else till they get to the coffee shop.

             ------

They find a seat near the window and the waitress walks over to their table with a smile, "What can I get you two tonight?" she asks in a southern accent.

Liz smiles at the waitress, "I would like a mint hot chocolate please."

Writing that down the waitress turns to Jack, "Okay, and how about you sir?"

Jack looks at the waitress "I would like a cup of hot green tea."

The waitress says "I will have your drinks right out to you."

Liz looks at the waitress and says "Thank you"

The waitress walks off and Jack looks at Liz "What are you looking at?" she asks blushing.

He smiles, blushing lightly again, "You're beautiful sorry if me saying that is weird."

She smiles at him and takes his hand then says "No its not I think it is sweet."

The waitress comes back after a few minutes with their drinks "Here is your hot chocolate ma'am, and here is your tea sir." she says as she places the drinks in front of them.


"So do you have any plans for tomorrow?" Jack asks as he blows on his tea.  Liz looks up from her drink "No not as of right now. Why?" she asks with a grin knowing what was going on.
"I was wondering if you wanted to do something tomorrow." says as he takes a sip of his tea. Liz smiles "I would love too."

After they finish their drinks and Jack pays, and they leave. As he is walking Liz back to the female dorms he asks her "So are we still on for tomorrow?"

"Yes, I almost forgot, I was having so much fun." she says blushing, "I guess it's time to say goodnight." as the reach the front of the dorm building.

"Goodnight sweet dreams I will meet you here at 8 in the morning,if that's okay with you?" he states questioningly.

"Yes that's good," Liz replies smiling. "good night Jack." she says as she gives him a hug, then walks inside. Smiling he turns and goes back to his dorm, and the only thing he could think of was Liz.

As Jack opens the door to his room Grey starts laughing and says "So how was your date?"

Jack gets into the room and closes the door then says "It was nice."

Grey looks at him and says "Wow you're actually admitting it that's a first."

"Yeah why wouldn't I?" Jack looks at him as he starts getting undressed.

Grey shrugs and reply "Because I thought you might want to play it safe especially with the four hooligans running around."

As Jack gets under his covers he says "Don't ruin my good mood." He smiles as he pictures Liz's eyes, "I will worry about that in the morning. So goodnight and turn out that damned light."

Grey does as he is told then goes to bed.

♡ L I L Y 'S POV ♡

I waited with anticipation for the teacher to announce my name and my patner's. My hands became clammy as I feared of being patnered up with my worse nightmare.

Really Mr Ramroch do we really need a patner for that stupid project. God please don't make cockroach (Mr Ramroch) partner up Asher and I that would be hell, and I had enough of it.

I call him cockroach because of his surname and he kinda reminds me of one, don't ask why. I didn't have any hard feelings against him it was just a nickname that suits him well. 

Mr Ramroch started calling out the names, taking his time as the names rolled off his tongue.

"Daphne and Connor," " Liz and Joe," Brad and Ellis" "Asher and Lily" 

Okay maybe now I do have hard feelings for him

Why God, what did I do to deserve this! I have been nothing but good, I help those in need,I pray every night, okay that was a lie,but I do study and get good grades.... I mean sure I curse but I don't say it out loud, okay that was another lie also. Sure I said some mean stuff about Asher but he deserves it ... thinking about cursing if only I could curse that stupid teacher.

"Mr Ramroch can I have another partner who is not an idiot" Asher said suddenly getting me out of the tantrum I was having in my head. 

My head swiftly turned around and I glared daggers at his head making sure he could feel the hate I was radiating. His eyes held an odd gleam I couldn't decipher as he gave me one of his cocky little smirks.

How dare that fucker I'm a straight A student! His the one that's the idiot I mean he sleeps around with different girls and I'm pretty sure he doesn't use protection. So ha who's the idiot now. I taunted in my head, something I wouldn't dare say out loud.

My head snapped back to the front as I faced my now worse teacher. I tried to have the most convincing look I could muster. Maybe he'll take pity on me and make me switch patner's. 

" Mr Ramroch I kinda agree with him on this one except for the idiot part we all know I'm anything but an idiot, plus Asher and I don't get along so it would be difficult to do the project" I told Mr Ramroch hoping he'll take the bait.

"No! No one is switching partners!" Mr Ramroch yelled. His eyes darkened in rage as he looked between Asher and I.

Well bring the whole roof down then sir,no need to shout.

Was it that difficult to switch up partners? Fucking teachers and their cliche ways of bringing enemies together

Asher started cursing at the back of me being all dramatic. I mean I'm sure he'll leave all the work for me to do anyway, so why get all worked up.

The dude got the better end of this anyway, with me being the top student and all but I had to get an imbecile who barely takes part in class. One who hates my guts and thinks I'm revolting.

" Now everyone get close to your partner to discuss more on the project" Mr Ramroch announced shooing us to our patners.

This is it, this is how I'm going to die young. And I never even got to have a boyfriend 

I got up to sit by Asher because that A hole didn't want to leave his seat. He had an impassive look on his face

He suddenly turned towards me with a sneer on his face. His mouth curling into a snarl as he looked at me in disgust.

" Don't say a word to me, wait for me to speak to you first before you can speak got it" he says

" I said DO YOU GET IT!" He said roughly his face now inches from mine. 

My breath hitched as I swiftly turned my head to the other side not expecting him to be that close.

"Yeees Asher I got it." I stuttered my voice coming out in a feeble mutter

It's sad really, I'm a 19 year old who is still afraid of her bully. God I don't know why I can never stand up to him. Well he is 6'1 and has a lot of muscle while I look like a toothpick. Plus I'm all by myself. I don't have any friends who attend this school.

"We will discuss about this project at my penthouse, don't bring your slutty friend with you" he said 

My eyebrows scrunched in confusion as I thought of who he must be referring to. It must be Rose since she and her brother are my only friends 

But Rose isn't a slut, she's very much of an introvert who loves playing video games and movies while her brother is the most friendly and outgoing guy I have ever met. 

They are pretty cool to hang out with, to bad they take courses online and doesn't attend the same college as me.

"Hey Bitch I'm talking to you!" He sneered

"Sorry Asher didn't hear you" I stuttered back

"What were you thinking about? Was it one of your many fucktoys?" He growled. His eyes held a glint of anger before he hide it with a nonchalant look.

My mouth slacken as I looked at him in shock. I wasn't expecting him to say that or think so low of me. Oh who am I kidding Asher has always thought low of me so this shouldn't be a shock to me.

But he was far from the truth, I was still a virgin for crying out loud, I never even had my first kiss. I was innocent in more ways than one, something I was proud of. 

But who is he referring to if it isn't me? What gave him the conclusion that I had fucktoys? 

He must have seen my confused face because he elaborated "the different guys who come out of your dorm room"

He must have seen the guys coming in the dorm for Sonia. But why is this a problem to him anyway and how did he know about guys coming in and out of my dorm room?

She keeps bringing different guys to our room. Maybe he thinks they are my guys,great maybe everyone thinks the same. 

I should really speak to Sonia about this, it's starting to be a problem. It's not like she would listen to me anyway, we don't get along. 

"You know you're kinda cute when you're in your own world." He said lowly catching me off guard that I almost didn't hear him. It seemed like it wasn't meant for me to hear it.
