  I would love to have some cool powers and be able to live how I wanted to live. I guess dragons are pretty cool and they can do whatever they want, but it would kinda suck to be a slime though". 
  
  After everything went black, he thought it was strange since he could move around, except he was trapped in a circular object. "Why can't I get out? Why do I feel lighter? and why do I have claws as hands!"

The universe is in warring period every God needs to participate on every war the Universe gone to. The war give birth to many Middle gods. and a huge number of low gods, their enemy are the dragons who invaded the universe because of it's resources, but they didn't expect gods is also a merciless existence.

The universe have 2,000 Gods who governs it, the dragons has their whole colony invade the universe has 10,000 of them! They though the advantage is on their side but they got it all wrong. The god race also waited long enough for this opportunity! 

Dragons blood can Increase they're power, dragon meat can strengthen their psyche,  dragon scales can be use for their equipment and their hearts can raise their prolong god's life!

The God race sealed the universe and hunt down dragon's endlessly, the dragon expect a feast, but they expect that were they will be the main dish. They begone to panic and try to hide. The Gods number and strength are low so they can't catch up to them.

The feast satisfy everyone and the middle grade god managed advance to 'Advance Middle Grade Gods' but one thing they did not forgot! The High ranking dragons can't be found anywhere. They plan not to open and don't let the dragons leave the universe.

After the hunt of dragons, hundred of century had passed. A certain Advance Mid-God is floating on the outer space, his face has the look of loneliness. He stop the space to and look at the large bluish white star can be seen. He look around and found 9 medium size star. 

He got an idea of merging to make a new planet. But something is a miss, he then muttered to himself." Wait, medium size star can't be this close." after thinking for a while (after 1 year!!) "hah!? dragons really is full of greed ha?" he caught every dragons who are feeding inside the stars.

He observe the stars characteristic, two green, two blue, one red, there is also two chilly white star, and two brown star. 

He thenn try to merge the stars, he cool the hot red star a bit first, then he add the brown star on it, the he make the first star cool down to make and solidify the star, then it form a magma like surface when it surround the red star. 

Then another brown star he solidify it too, but not as rocky as the first one, he then put it on the the surface of the so call mantle of the planet, He then wave his finger make the crust develop several cone shape lands, similar to the mountains on the 9 mountains of Immortals.

He also make the other part of the crust indent making a canal like space, he then take the blue star. The star is a bit weird, It emits light, it send a scorching heat to nearby, but it compose of liquid substance!! he then freeze the star! he melt it, then remove all it's impurities, (it's fresh and taste better than mineral water) then spread it on his planet, spreading on every corner of the planet, it then go straight to the canal he made earlier. He then solidify and cool down the green star, he murmur a few hours, the star then turn brown and become pulverize it, with a longer look, It looks like a countless seeds, he then scatter it around his planet. 

The weirdest star of all is the ice cold star that released a freezing atmosphere, he make the star shrank and so little that it can be fit on his planet, he put in on the bottom side of the planet, the ice chunk instantly freeze the whole continent it spread 30 kilometer on the sea and make the temperature of ocean 100 kilometers away to ice continent drop to 10°c-15°c.

He then look at the whining dragons. He took out his weapon, It's a reaper, it's blade Is silver and the handle is brown like a wood and near the blade there's a fresh looking leaf, it was obvious that it's the world tree's branch!

He cut the dragon's neck clean, then sacrifice the blood on the planet. This kind of sacrifice was enough making a group of advance Middle-God gasp, it can also cause jealousy on the other race such as Fenkings-the universal wolf, the Immortals who travel universe to universe, and other race who like fighting. On the other hand, unlike other race, God race are not greedy. They will share what they have on other gods.

"This planet shall be call as Hermes" The blood swallow the planet, but did not make contact on the planets surface, it made an atmosphere that is relaxing. After those actions he made, a blinding light shine from his body. He look at his body then smile "Oh hoho! the beginner higher Realm God." He brush his beard and his mustache "It's not that bad. I should take those dragon's memories too."

After he took their memories, he found out that there is a lot universal race who has been eradicated by this race. Universal dragon's like to eat stars. They'll secluded their self in one star for decades, after many years the star will be nowhere. the race who is living on that universe try to retaliate, but what are they chance against dragons?

This triggered the god's irritation, it's good that they wipe them clean. He look at his newly made planet the dragon's blood is still dripping on it, he took out his gigantic cauldron at started to refine it, the size of mid grade star's can make a high grade planet, what will happen if 9 mid grade stars is merge? Even though universal dragon's feed on it, it's still 9 of them!

After refining the planet, the it come out of the cauldron the look of it is beautiful, mountains is full of trees the land has grasslands, rivers and falls is created, the reddish atmosphere then become blue, the ocean floor has a lot of seaweed, the planet then started to be attract by the gravitational force of It's star. "Something's missing. It is still lonely." He then took a white like clay on his jade like bag. He formed a miniature of every beast he knows of, and the beast that the dragons eradicated.

The planet becomes lively. The planet Hermes is now a planet he becomes so proud, he smile wide he then took the dragons body, he took the dragon eyes, dragon heart, It's bone and scales! he then squeeze it's body for more blood. He refine it to a good wine. He then cut its body into fine meat, he poor some wine on it then started to smoke the meat. The smoke then spread to their universe. 

All gods drooled and strode to the place where it came from, what surprise them is a large planet [author: 300 times the size of earth] It's too hard to make a planet that suitable for they're creations(descendant) that big!! Then there's a god who is currently sitting on it's side. 

A distorted space on his front has formed a table like thing, layer of smokey meat is arranged well on that space, diamond glass which they can smell it's fragrance this far. Dragon Blood wine!!! The person who is sitting suddenly open his eyes and speak like an ancient. 

"You guys finally came, this meats are the meats of 9 high dragon who escape and hide, I smoked them and refine it's blood as wine, to celebrate my advance as high God, and for the creation of Planet Hermes!! Fang Zheng immediately asked, "Is there a rough time for it?"
Unfortunately, Sun Yushu had only heard bits and pieces of it—there was nothing worthwhile from him anymore. 
"Is this important?"
"Sorry for letting you down this time. I've always wanted to repay you for saving me last time."
Sun Yushu was regretful—if he had known this would happen, he would have paid more attention back then.
Fang Zheng thanked Sun Yushu and told him not to force it. However, he still had Sun Yushu look out for more details regarding the time of the sanitization. They both hung up after that.
The Tongjiang Bridge!
Right after the call, Fang Zheng picked up his phone and searched for recent news regarding the Tongjiang Bridge. 
However, there was nothing worthwhile online. 
They were old news. 
The widely-reported opening of the Tongjiang Bridge. 
There were also reports of cars falling off the bridge and into the river, and how it had been sealed off till the present day. No one could go near it.
Nonetheless, according to Sun Yushu, people were dying every day on the Tongjiang Bridge. New corpses were fished up from the downstream on a daily basis but news about it had been contained by the authorities. 
These two points contradicted each other—how could people die every day after the bridge had been sealed off? 
How were they murdered?
Fang Zheng typed on his phone again. This time, he searched for related news about the area around the Tongjiang Bridge. 
There were new clues from the search.
"Closure of the river?"
"Closure of the upstream?"
"Cleaning of the sediment in the river?"
Fang Zheng frowned. 
They were actually planning to cut the river off… given the generosity of the budget, the cool, shades-clad men and their organization must be adamant to solve the issue of the Tongjiang Bridge once and for all.

Or did it mean… a war against whatever that was in there was about to begin?
Fang Zheng repeatedly mumbled, "Tongjiang Bridge," as he contemplated which scenario was more possible. 
Fang Zheng had already come across the terror of the Tongjiang Bridge. 
The experience he had from the Dead Man's Meal was still fresh in his mind… As he thought about it, Fang Zheng's stomach started experiencing reflux and cramps. He had dry heaving.
If it was a war… There could be a chance to get some of that Gray Qi—it was of no use to anyone else anyway. Since the cool, shades-clad men would definitely appear on the Tongjiang Bridge anyway, he could get a sweet deal off them too. 
He had to aim for the right timing when the 'mandatory sanitization' happened on the Tongjiang Bridge—not only was it for the Gray Qi, but it was also an opportunity to learn more about the cool, shades-clad men. Fang Zheng planned that after that night, he would go near the Tongjiang Bridge himself for observation.

Today is the day I meet my uncle. Let's hope he's not a disappointment like my dad. Roy, seems so pathetic so I'm not having my expectations too high but from what's been described, this man who is the brother of the man who is the father of me, sounds so cool! 
He is very well trained in magic and has agreed to teaching me.
This is so awesome!
Suddenly I heard a doorbell. Yes they have doorbells in this world. It's actually a mechanical system where you press the button and then it rings a bell built in the wall, I believe. It's actually genius, I'm surprised that our world never had something like that until the 19th century. But then there is also the knocking thing.  
Due to the small size of the house, you can pretty much hear it in every room if someones hear. I think it has to do with the shape, which is why the sound is so loud. But it doesn't surprise me as magic allows for difficult construction problems to become easy.
You don't like the shape of the bricks, just use magic to reshape it.  
But who cares about that stuff despite how interesting it is. It's him! He'll help me learn magic and thus get closer to getting rich and famous! And defeating the demon but money and fame is way more important than that boring stuff. 
I enthusiastically ran to the door and opened it only to face disappointment. 
It was Kath and her idiot brother Leon.
"Luck, your sister, Kath and, Leon will be learning with your uncle."
The news my mother told me was quite...
Disappointing. I have to train with this idiot, if it was just Sarah and Kath I would've been fine but Leon will end up burning down the house.
"Why are you two learning with me?"


"Leon's an idiot."

What sort of flawed logic is that. Is that stupid that he can't see his own mistakes and problems?!

It seems like he has too much pride in himself. But since I don't want to set off any lan.dmines, I just ignored him.

"ANSWER ME! YOU THINK I'M STUPID DON'T YOU?!"
"You're not stupid." I said reluctantly. I have to lie to shut him up. I feel bad for everyone in his family.
Kath let out a sigh on hearing me say that. At least he's quiet now.
"Well you see, after dad found out Leon learned magic he was actually impressed that he didn't do anything stupid with it but he was really happy to know I knew magic.
When your father told ours about how your uncle will be teaching, he wanted me to learn with him.
Then Leon begged dad to let him go with me and started to throw a tantrum crying for the whole day."
"Leon, You're an idiot"
He started to scream until my mother told him off and he suddenly become a good boy.
"I'm very sorry Mrs Bastray. I promise I shall follow the rules of your house."
Is screaming allowed in his house?! 
My sister came down and was surprised.
"Luck, I didn't know you have friends!"
Sarah, my sister was only 3 years older than me at age 8. She has red hair and blue eyes and is popular with the kids around her age. So of course she would be surprised for me, who barely talks to people, to have friends. Huh, I'm still the same antisocial person as I've always been apparently. 
 And she often makes fun of me so it's not like that comment was weird. Kath is the least annoying from the people I know my age. She hasn't done anything annoying so far.
On the other hand, Leon is an idiot and Sarah just criticises me for everything.
I once tried to help make dinner and she didn't touch it saying I would've caused her to get food poisoning.
And she was right as that day everyone except her got food poisoning
But despite the bad parts she is still protective like an older sister should be. When she found out that I've gained a level she went crazy.
I was practising my magic one day and she asked me if I ever levelled up and when I said I did she went to tell our parents. Dad was just laughing it off and said it was good for me learn of how the world is really like and my mother was angry until I told her it was a slime and I was protecting Leon.
I heard a door open.
HE WAS HERE!
But something unexpected.
They're twins!
This is bad! He reminds me of Roy, my father. No! I can't judge him because they look the same. He looks cool.
"Is there something wrong with me as I'm seeing two of your dad!"
"I think my dad might be a twin"
"WHOA! This is my first time seeing a twin, which one is which. It must've been very difficult for his mother to have to be pregnant for twice as long."
He just said something stupid again
It was obvious which one of them is my father. My uncle had a silver beard while my dad shaves and my uncle has a cut scar on his right eye. But they both laughed which also adds to proves his stupidity. Despite being 6 years old his intelligence definitely had to be below average. Even his sister who is the same age as me realised the stupid words he said. 
Actually I think Kath is above average intelligence as she likes to read long books, at age 5.
After things calmed down slightly the uncle introduced himself.
"My name is Ron and I'm as you can see Luck's uncle. I am a government adventurer of Yelgard and my brother tells me you lot want to learn magic right!"
"Yes!" Leon screamed while me and Kath just said it normally and Sarah said it like she was dead. What a weirdo.
"I see so you wish to harness the great power within you. But are you strong enough! It is tough path that is dangerous and may make you turn to the side of evil!"
Oh my Ember, that's so cringe. 
But he's so cool! 
A cape materialises behind him. What was it? Illusion magic?
AND HE'S EVEN MORE COOL.
And he reveals that is right arm is entirely metallic and an eyepatch formed on his right eye.
Everyone was shocked except my parents.
THIS IS SO COOL!!!!!

Why does he have to say such cringy stuff?!
"WHOAAA! Luck's uncle looks so cool! How'd you do that!"
"Why it's very advanced magic. Spatial magic! I created a pocket dimension, a space that I have complete control of and only I can access, It's third tier magic.
Magic is separated into 4 tiers with rumours of a fifth tier existing:
First tier magic is manipulating the 4 main elements of the world.
Second tier is  magic is manipulating matter created from the 4 elements for example metal, healing magic etc.
Third tier is manipulating forces that are beyond the 4 elements.
Fourth tier is manipulating the foundations of reality itself, there are very few types of these and it is so difficult that only a few in recorded history have ever performed it but we know it exists for example manipulation of time itself. In the legends the 10 grand wizards were users of this tier of magic.
A fifth tier is theoretically possible but if it truly exists only the Gods will be able to use it."
It might sound too much but I wish to achieve the 4th tier of magic and since I was sent here by a goddess I might possibly be able to use 5th? Unless it's used by the Ancient Ones that Ember mentioned.
I hope I can meet them, or not. I don't know myself.
But manipulation of reality itself? Could something like that truly be possible!
Isn't spatial magic considered reality manipulation?

"HAHAHA, so you wish to learn of the great story of how that beast stole my arm. You see many years ago I was on a mission to defeat an evil dragon who brought a tyrannical reign to a village and I lost it in combat against the tyrant however I managed to kill it and liberate the village."
Is this idiot using words like liberate to a 5 year old child, but thankfully I think everyone understood it, even Leon which seemed impossible.
"Hey! You're lying to the kids. I remember exactly what happened. It happened last year when you were on a mission to fight the Spider Queen. You see kids, the spider queen decided to fight the country so Ron had to kill her. However he got captured by the queen and started to cry like a baby. The queen got annoyed and ate his arm. His team members had to come and save him. Thankfully the new spider queen is more peaceful."
A spider ate his WHOLE arm. How big are they in this world?!!
"You ruined my glory. Fine lets go back to the training so first of all I have to check how much potential you all have. The higher potential in magic the easier it is for you to train and learn more advanced spells. Even if you don't have great potential you can still learn powerful magic but you have to work extra hard!"
The method for checking 'potential' is a bit odd: He has to put his hand on our back and use some magic spell.
Well actually he had a symbol drawn on his gloves that glowed when using the spell.
I think that's what allows him to check.
He slowly went through each of us making comments such as "nice" or "that's great".
It seems we all have decent potential.
He got to me and said something odd:
"Roy, I have to talk about your son!" With a look of fear on his face.
Could it be my potential was trash, OR that its so great that he can't even believe it himself but I couldn't hear his conversation with my dad.

"Your son is a breaker. He has great magic in him, too much. His potential is extremely high but, he's beyond any breaker I've seen. His power is comparable to the dragons. 
"How could this be, he doesn't seem to show any strength like that. But then I've heard that breakers don't show strength unless they let their emotions take over. Also,
 YOU MET THE ELEMENTAL DRAGONS, why do you get to do the cool stuff! I should've been an adventurer but I met Elise not that I'm complaining about being married and stuff!"
"Yes I met the dragons but I can't go into more detail as that's government secrets!
But that boy scares me, normally if a child is born with great power it is usually sealed until they are strong enough to wield it properly but I don't think a seal great enough exists to seal this power.
If only the 10 great wizards still remained than maybe. The only thing we can do is teach him how to control it. However be warned, if he loses control of his emotions, it may be that he gets people seriously hurt, that is why breakers are feared! And he's one beyond all others. I won't report this to any official unless I have to but I'm telling you Roy, this can be a problem in the future!"
"I'll be sure to remember all of this but I still don't understand why? Why does he have power that according to you, rival the great dragons."
"I'm not sure exactly but I got an idea but I don't think you'll like it. You see, the 10 wizards of past were real and had such great power that even the dragons bowed down to them. They were almost seen as Gods however they, according to legend, were reincarnated beings brought to the world by the goddess.
According to the legends, the goddess Ember brought people from another world, one separate from Xaltrey, and gave a fraction of her power to the reincarnated beings."
"You're telling me that my son, Luck, is a reincarnated being who will become as strong as the great wizards? Despite how much it makes sense I don't want to believe it. But if it is true then I guess I have no choice but to accept it. He still is my son even if he is someone else at the same time."
"I'm sorry but I can't think of any other explanation but I think he will become a great man who might even bring peace to this world!"
"You're right! I just have to support him whether he becomes a hero or not we have to help him control this power!"
"And it'll begin with me training him!"

Xaltrey, a world that will soon fall into the grasps of cataclysm. 

Yet a hero exists, a being who reincarnated to this world.
The reincarnate is called Alex, a loser to society. He contributed nothing. He was nothing in the eyes of others.  Until one day he got killed.

He met the goddess of the Xaltrey asked of him to defeat the evil demon Yazuro however the problem is he has to start from a newborn child in a poor family and has to work his way up to the strength required by age 30 or else the demon will win. 

A journey of magic and monsters, evil and good, heroes and demons. Starting with nothing, he has to conquer the ways of this world. 

Yet there are greater evils yet to be discovered.

Alvaro looked at the table and true enough there was an iPod and headphones on top.
"Were you listening to music?" Asked Alvaro but then he thought better of it and asked "How can you get iPods here?"
Merlin looked at the iPod and then at the boys. "I do keep a close eye on your side of the universe. Sometimes I bring back little things that are useful or make my life more pleasant."
"How do you charge it?" asked Alberto.
Merlin looked at him and smiled. "I see you are good at spotting things out of place," said Merlin. "I also got a solar panel system. It's very useful."
"What type of music were you listening to?" Asked Alvaro wandering what on earth would a wizard out of a Disney movie like to hear.
"Right now I was listening to Linkin Park" The two boys jaws dropped. "What....." said Alvaro, "Cool!" said Alberto, who liked the band.
"I would have thought you were more of a Beethoven type" said Alvaro.
Merlin smiled and said, " Vivaldi actually, but I do keep an ear out for all sorts of music. If you like music, apart from the American or European scene, you'll be amazed at what comes out of Africa, India or South America."
Merlin walked closer to the boys and smiled at them. It was a grand-dad type of smile. Nice, and showing that he was really happy to see them. "I'm so glad that you two found your brothers. It's more important that you could ever imagine".
"What's an iPod?" just then boomed the voice of Alvaro the Dragon. The boy turned and saw the head of the dragons inside the room. They were using the round windows higher up to get their heads in. Alberto grabbed the player and showed it to the dragon who forced his eyes a bit and said "Ah, one of those little gadgets. I'll never understand Merlin's liking of them. There' perfectly good musicians here."
"But can they play non stop for hours and hours music of hundreds of different types?" Asked Merlin.
"Well no." Said the dragon "But they taste better!" and he bursted out laughing. He stopped when he realised no one else was laughing, not even Alberto the dragon who was shaking his head. "Hey, it's just a joke. I've never eaten a musician. Their guitars are too crunchy!" and he bursted out laughing again. This time Alvaro who liked the joke also laughed.
"Do I have to remind every one here that some dragons are actually killing people and these jokes are tasteless." Said Alberto the dragon.
"Tasteless!!!" Shouted Alvaro the dragon and laughed even louder.
"That's enough." Said Merlin. "Alberto is quite right. It's no laughing matter."
The two Alvaros quiet down and looked embarrassed.
"What's this about dragons killing people?" Asked Alberto.
"It's the reason why I sent for both of you." Answered Merlin. "It started happening about a year ago. At first it was rumours from the mountain that people here did not believe, but then there was attacks on humans tending their flock at the foot of the mountains, and three weeks ago they attacked the village. It was terrible." Merlin looked down to hide the sadness in his eyes and the boys could feel the pain and shame from their dragons.
Alberto turned and looked up to his dragon brother. "Don't feel ashamed. It wasn't you." He said.
"But it was dragons! My own people doing something as terrible as that! How can I not...".
"Because it wasn't you or your people." Said Alberto quieting the dragon. The two dragons and Merlin looked at Alberto."You have the voice." Said Merlin. Alberto was going to ask what he meant by that when Alvaro said "How can you know it wasn't his people? You just got here."
"I can feel it. Look, come out with me." He said grabbing his brother by the arm and walking out into the square.
"Look at the mountains and feel your dragon at the same time. You know how you can feel things that are alive? What's inside those mountains is a bit like a dragon but feels very different."
Alvaro walked to his dragon birth brother and touched his front leg while looking at the mountains. He could feel the life around him. His dragon shone like a bright light as did his brother, Merlin and Alberto the dragon, but the mountains simply looked like mountains. He didn't feel anything from them. He looked at his dragon and with his mind he asked is he could feel something, but Alvaro the dragon could not feel a thing either.
"Sorry. I don't know what you mean." Said Alvaro to his brother.
The two Albertos looked a bit surprised. "Why can't he feel what I feel?" Asked Alberto to Merlin.
"The combination of powers of the souls of the Dragon Birth Brothers is different each time. You probably are much more aware of life than most others," said Merlin. "But you are lucky you two are human brothers as that means you can share experiences. Grab your brother's hand and feel the mountains."
Alberto did what Merlin asked and looked at the mountains. To Alvaro it was like changing from a black and white old TV program to a modern 3D movie. The town was full of colour, the dragons shone brightly in their own colours but with eddies of other colours crossing their bodies very similar to Merlin who's colours seems to have a slow rhythm. His brother Alberto was a mixture of Merlin and the dragons but with spirals of light of different colours coming out of his body at different places. "Wow. Those must be the chakras mum talks about." just then he noticed he also had them. "Well?" Asked his brother "Do you feel it now?" Alvaro, who had forgotten all about the mountains, looked at them. He could see colours and feel the mountains alive and also something like Alvaro and Alberto the dragons but darker, denser, looking back at him. The darkness came towards him and he felt scared, letting go of his brother's hand.
"Don't worry." Said his brother "It's like it's coming here but it never reaches. I don't think it can even see us."
"Now I known what it felt like when Sauron spots Frodo in the first film of The Lord of the Rings." Said Alvaro.
"Who's Sauron?" asked his dragon "I don't think I like him."
"It's a fictional character from a book in their dimension." Said Merlin "A good book I have to say. Better than the film."
Merlin then walked to Alberto and said "I'm glad you decided to come."
"How come I don't have any special powers?" asked Alvaro.
"You do. All dragon birth brothers have. It's just you haven't found it yet. Don't worry, it will come. Let's go back inside now. I have a story to tell and a favour to ask."
They walked with Merlin back into the house, the dragon using the dragon windows to look inside.

Merlin sat at the table and asked the boys to sit. "Would you like to drink something?" He asked.
"Can I have a Coke please?" Asked Alberto.
"And me some Nestea please." Said Alvaro.
Merlin looked at them and told them that even though he knew about those drinks he usually didn't bring food back from their dimension. The boys settled for some fresh water.

"I think there's a very strong power which I don't know that has changed the dragons and it's using them to attack the peoples of this land." Merlin told them. "One of the weak points of dragons is that they are self centred and their ego can be used by trickery to change them. Only dragons who have found their Birth Brothers have the strength and balance not to fall for this trick." He looked at the boys and smiled. "It's why we had to get you. Alvaro the dragon is old enough to know how to open interdimensional doors so he went to look for you Alvaro. We have been lucky that both of you came."
"Yes. Something kept telling me that Alberto had to come." Said Alvaro.
"That would be me." Said Alberto.
"No it wasn't. I think it was myself, but from another time."
Merlin looked at him and said "I think you are getting close to your special power Alvaro." He then turned to both boys and continued, "We now need you to go and find out what it is that it's changing the dragons. As you have not been to school here and have not been trained I will need to give you skills that will allow you to survive attacks and difficult situations."
"Great!" Said Alvaro. "What skills are we going to get?"
"I think that's really up to you. Whatever it is it has to be something that will protect you and will come out of your heart. Don't use logic to choose. Use your heart."
"I know, I know!" Shouted Alberto.
"Are you sure?" Asked Merlin "That was a bit quick."
"Yes, yes. I know, I know." Said Alberto with a smile on his face.
"Ok. What is it?"
"I want to be a Ninja!"
Merlin though for a while and asked, "the Japanese assassins from the middle ages? A strange choice for a young boy."
Alberto stared at him,"assassins? I don't think so." Said Alberto. "Warriors with a code of honour more like it."
"Project your idea of a ninja to me please. Do it like when you talk to your dragon brother."
Alberto closed his eyes and thought of the best ninja he could think of.
"Who's Naruto?" Asked Merlin. Alvaro quickly explained about the TV series and Merlin laughed "Hehehe. I think it's a good choice."
He then got up and in his hand a beam of light appeared. He touched Alberto with this light which jumped and enveloped him, it shone brightly making Alberto nearly disappear. When Alberto appeared again he was dress in black, like a Ninja. He looked down and with wide opened eyes a shouted, "cool!"
"You should have the skills of my idea of a Ninja and your Naruto. Try them please."
Alberto who was still looking down at himself looked up and said "Ok. Here it goes." He ran across the room with his arms stretched behind him, got to the wall, ran up the wall and nearly at the top he did a somersault falling back down and gently landing on his feet. He then, with hardly any effort, jumped on top of his dragon. "Wooo hoooo!!" He shouted.

Alvaro closed his mouth and decided he had to think of something as cool as that, but better.
"That's the wrong way to do it." Said Alvaro the dragon, reading his mind. "Use your heart, not logic."
Alvaro then quieted his thoughts and stopped looking at his brother. He felt a presence that seem really familiar and a voice that said "Be yourself and I'll be there." Alvaro looked at his dragon and asked "Was that you?"
"No it wasn't, but I also heard that." They both looked at Merlin. He smiled and said "Whatever it was, it wasn't me."
Just then Alvaro knew what he wanted to be. "Ok. I'm ready." He said. "I want to be a wizard."
Merlin seemed to relax and said "Fantastic! I could see it in you." The beam of light appeared in his hand and he walked towards Alvaro. As before, the light seem to reach out and surround the boy. It shone brightly and then Alvaro reappeared. He looked just like he did before.
"Don't worry about the clothes. We wizard don't have a dress code, we simply choose the most comfy stuff. Look at your back."
Alvaro reaches behind him. "A Staff!" He took it out and saw it was a beam of light.
"Try it please." Said Merlin.
"How? Don't I need any magic spells like Alohomora or Avada Ked...."
"Don't even think that!" Shouted Merlin. "The words themselves don't do anything but the idea behind does and you have the power to make that idea true."
"Sorry." Said Alvaro looking quite upset realising what he nearly said.
"Ok. I think I have the idea." He turned to his brother who was looking at him, and he pointed the staff at him. Alberto clothes changed to girls clothes.
"Eh! That's not funny. Get my clothes back!" When the two Alvaros stopped laughing, he did so.
Merlin smiling said, "you have to be careful with that. One of the reasons spells are used is so that no mistakes are done. In reality you don't need them to make magic but you do have to be extra careful."
Merlin asked them to follow him out into the square, and then, turning to all four of them, he asked them to go to the mountains and find out what was changing the dragons. They had to find out and come back. Under no circumstances were they to confront whatever it was. And in case of trouble, to come straight back. He said this last bit looking at the dragons who nodded but he still worried that the would meet dangers head on. They were dragon brothers after all.

The boys climbed on the dragons and Alberto said, "Alvaro, can you do something about a saddle? It's a bit uncomfortable sitting here on a bare back."
"What? Why me?" Responded his brother.
"You can just make one. Imagine a good one and make some magic please."
Alvaro thought about it for a while and said "Ok. Here goes..." He pointed the staff to Alberto's dragon (who closed his eyes just in case) and a beam of light jumped to the dragon.
Alberto looked down and saw he was sitting in a saddle that held his feet and legs and had a type of console in front. "What's the Playstation for?" He asked his brother.
"It's not a Playstation. It's a flight console." Alvaro replied smiling. "It shows altitude and objects around you. That way you can see stuff at night or in a cloud. Like a radar but better."

"Ok. Here we go." Said Alberto the dragon as he took off and then headed toward the mountains followed by Alvaro and his dragon brother. Alvaro looked behind to see the town getting smaller and smaller. He switched on the console and saw that the mountains even though big where still faraway. Alberto the dragon shone gold with the sun light and his brother had a big smile on his face. Alvaro also smiled. He was having a real life adventure in a real dragon.

This story was one that my father told my brother and me when we were kids, hopefully you get some entertainment out of it.
