Our skinless "soon to become" hero finally calmed down. 
He didn't have his answer, but who does?
This question did the job.

He tried to  remember what the voice in his head said back them, but he couldn't.
He tried again to fail when he wanted to leave his grave. An invisible barrier blocked him.
And now that he was away from his tomb rather than just in front of it like at the start, the moving skeleton remembered that he had to write, with his finger? he guessed, an choose an username.

One hour later, our nameless hero was still standing for this designation, the first part at least.
In gaming history, the hardest riddle, the enigma above all, the ultime puzzle, the shame of Batman, the question so hard that it brings many hours of gameplay just by it's presence at a point that many developers include it in there schematic diagram as a must have is: What is your name?
If you ever wondered why almost no puzzle game ask you your name, it's because it would break the difficulty ladder before it even started. 

In games, names precede everything; have you heard of ...; it's the first thing you know about a player, so it's an important choice.
Most of players have a method or a username following them for years.
There is two factors that can make the worst of that already hellish question: the size and the restrictions.

A size is a factor which is pretty normal and it's most likely that someone is bothered by a minimum number of characters than the maximum.
It's rare to find a multiplayer game where it's allowed to have a name with less than three characters.

The second factor is pretty random between games and can easily influence originality and the annoyance of the first factor. Restrictions are up to the developers, but some of them seems to unleash their sadistic pulsions throughout those.
Firstly, what characters are allowed? 
Accents, numbers, signs, emojis and others are not always allowed.
Secondly, can we put punctuation?
It's not the same at all, "We're gonna eat, kids!" and "We're gonna eat kids!" that's a simple example, but some players take themselves for artists or just want their names to be a message. For those, it really matters, even though it's stupid.
And lastly, it's rarer, but can we put capital letters as we want?
That's globally the three kind of restrictions that one can encounter while creating an username, but there's another type:
-"This username already exists"-
the "player type" of restriction.

S'Quest wasn't a game with an impossibility to have the same name twice and more, but it was informing you that you're not the first one to choose it. 
Obviously, it would not told you when someone didn't bother and took the same name as you.
Except, if someone truly wanted an exclusivity, there was an option to pay real money to lock your username once you had chose it.

Our nameless protagonist had met the two kind of message at a point that he couldn't count anymore.
He would have accepted to share his username with anybody, but some *sshole had bought it.
The game was old of only three weeks and it has already reached that point where his old username which wasn't that much of a name, but just nice to pronounce, AcIce. 
He had originally took thirty minutes to find it a couple of years ago.
 
AcIce was a mix of a few things that he liked: his favorite character of One Piece, R.I.P. Ace, puns and his favourite dish, which is mint ice cream. 
When he had created this name, he thought that it would be cool to be both a pyromancer and a creomancer until he found out that it was bad investing and sucked in PvP.
But even though, the name stayed. 
He liked it.

There's nothing to gain crying over spilled milk, did he thought.
But soon after that, our nameless hero changed his minds.
Allot of the names he would categorize as at least fine were locked.

Our "soon to become" hero would never know, but soon enough a company had found a business to make with this system.
That company had named itself A Name to Remember and bought a large number of name just to sold them at higher price.
They firstly bought popular names which were simply cool or belonged to popular e-sport gamers like Faker.

The fact is that the one who couldn't name himself AcIce was not able to name itself at all.
His pride wouldn't have allowed him to pay real money for something like a name and so, he had to find out a new username.

To do that, our "soon to become" hero used his old code. 
It was a set of rules that he made back in his childhood to make nice usernames.
1. Nothing else than letters
2. No personal information 
3. He must like it
He thought that it wasn't that hard to fulfill.
But it was.

Simple names were taken, cool names were locked and our nameless protagonist's imagination was reaching it's borders.
When it reached that those borders, he sought for inspiration rather than imagination. Since he was in the Greek server, he might as well name himself to respect the themes.
But a new problem arose: he had shitty memory and didn't much about Greece, the old one and it's mythology.

In the book that our skinless protagonist read, sometimes the hero experienced a rebirth and most of the time his memory seemed like enforced. 
At their place, he would hardly remember much than the memes of the year.

Imagination was not viable and memory neither. 
The list of allies grew thinner by the minute. But what could be a saviour soon came out as an struck of lightning.

Our nameless protagonist was feeling like a noob for caring so much for just a name and began to curse himself and the game.
"Who's the f*cking old slut's best client that pooped this idea of locked names? Is that game founded by EA? I thought that they closed after the scandal of their remake of The Witcher. What a joke. Like my life."
Then it struck; A joke! he thought then realize. Since all of this is a joke, my username might as well be!

Pull my finger, Chuck Norris fact, YouTube rewind of 2023, Soviet Russia, Hong Kong to China, Harambe, American presidents, Dragonball Evolution, SJW, things that shouldn't be joke about, If a joke was cringy, the more it would be the better it was. 
Our protagonist wasn't really good with mythical knowledges, but when it cames to puns he could say without being arrogant that he could hold his ground. But it would be funnier to say it sounding as arrogant as possible so he could say that if he claimed to be second, none would claim first or that he was unparalleled under the heavens.
One of our protagonist goal in life was to achieve a joke of the 36 degree, at the proper sense.
To do this he had elaborated a theory which is that joke were kind of like the excellent movie Inception, to be more meta, it is needed to do a joke inside a joke.
Our nameless protagonist choose that since this game is a joke, it would be the perfect ground for the "perfect" joke and it would add a free layer of meta.

To reach that goal, a strong name was needed.
To find it the information about if the username was locked or taken would be a nice clue because there was no way that salary man would find out a really strong name by themselves.
The username schematic diagram  of our nameless protagonist see itself grew bigger by the minute.
1. Nothing else than letters

3. EA reference 
4. Religion reference
5. Be meta
6. He must like it

The first two steps were easy.
The reference to a meme as dead as the company it laughs of was simple.
It was a little harder for the religion reference since there was many.
Being meta would be the challenge of the task and the last step would be owing the hazard.

World€Ating? God€Ating? €->£? ->$? ->E?
GoddEAth? DEAthagent? EAngel?
Nah, it didn't really worked nor sounded good enough.
GoddEAth sounded quite like goddess or goodness, in fact.
By the way, changing E for $, € or £ was breaking the first rule.
Our nameless protagonist realize how amazing were his parents for having giving him his name.

Out of boringness, our "soon to become" hero's feet began to walk in the little circle that he could walk on top of his grave.
It didn't help much.
After a few more circles, our skinless protagonist tried a few random words which weren't really conform to his new schematic diagram, but he didn't care anymore.
He tried a few puns like Nameless, Skinless and even username, but in vain.
They were locked.

"Who the fuck would pay for those names? Really!? Is 1234 taken too!?"
(He actually tried)
"Stop messing with me! This isn't real! It's..."
Suddenly, there was a new struck of lightning in that brainless head.
It almost seemed like there was a cumulonimbus instead of a brain.
In fact, a rotten brain may look like it...
But that's not the point, our "soon to not be anymore" nameless protagonist was trying a new username and it worked.

"Would you like to take that name?"
"Yes."
"You're the first one to create it, would you like to pay to lock it so that you're the only one with it?"
"That won't be necessary."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes! I want to play the game!"
"Welcome MEssiAhrounder."

From then, if someone asked MEssiAhrounder wtf is that name, he would answer that he doesn't mind being called Messy, but nothing else. 
Jokes shouldn't be explained.

For a letter that I did not read, that I received by a accident I got a work that ain’t one in a game that didn’t feel like one.
Yet, a mix of “fortunate” coincidences that were adding up, some NPCs & players who knew things that they shouldn’t and a timely sense of déjà-vu convinced me to look further.

Aaron just woke up from a deep slumber that seemed impossible and unreal to him, but he fastly ignored this and decided to focus on it later, the same thing for the development of his soul and how much time he had.. Right now he needed to develop everything that served as a help for him, specifically a new type of race, a body, some tools to facilitate his development and last but not least the damn system.

He already made some math and decided to use 14 develop-helps or what they are called for the system and the remaining to create the other things, right now what he needed the most was cheats. 

He also arrived at the conclusion that if he didn't develop of his own a race and a body it would probably give him the human race and a normal body,and he didn't want that. He knew that when arriving in the world of Eden there was needed some kind of preparation to not be obliterated from existence immediately, so he arrived at the conclusion to not use every help for the system only. 

There was just a problem, how to use the helps if he didn't even have those kind of interfaces of the system to help him?

"Hey Jerky, how do I use those help things? Also, what happened to my body and how much time do I have left?" Aaron asked, impatient, as always he lacked too much information and he wasn't afraid of the thundering killing intent that would come with the answer.

[To use the helps that the gods has donated you, just ask me. For the other two questions, as I said earlier other superior beings has given your soul a boost that made you unconscious for 2 days, so you have exactly 27 days, 15 hours and 13 minutes left until the reincarnation in Eden. Please note that even if you finish earlier, you will remain here anyway] The long answer made the spiritual body of Aaron go to its knees making cracks on the ground totally black, like its sorroundings.

Aaron grinned, he had a lot of time left, so he just got straight to the point. The effect of the killing intent had already faded and he got up.

"Jerky, use fourteen of the twenty helps I have and develop a complete system, estimate how much time it will take"

[Calculating...the estimated time is 5 five days and 12 hours. In this span of time I will not answer any questions or be able to help the ant in any way. Are you sure?]

"Obviously!" The kid was hyped for his new creation, even if it wasn't actually HIS creation, but whatever. Also, he was slowly getting sure that Jerky was some kind of godly system used for reincarnation from the shitty gods, so he decided to not treat him so badly anymore,after all it wasn't his fault being created as such a d*ck, and so he called him "Joseph", because he liked names with the J.

In that span of five days he also decided to train his soul, so he sitted on the ground and got in that standby state, not knowing that people were yet again observing him and thinking about his arrival in the new world.

'The humans, or all the races, will probably be like those from Earth. I also think that I should not trust them much, from how Jerk- Joseph described them they are extremely evil and pretty suicidal, but are the most popolous race in Eden so I will try to manipulate them. I think that I will try to get deep connections with the dragons, they seem the less bad in there and they are also one of the most powerful and prideful bastards down there, but in the end they shouldn't be so evil if they're like some novels. I should also get information about those demons'

"Oh noble hero, as always you have done a splendid job against the demons!" A creepy old man with some kind of religious robes and a big wand said at a young boy in a shiny and fancy armor with a shinier and "cooler" sword in his hands.

"Haha! There's no need for compliments! I just did my job by destroying those foolish beasts!" The young boy replied while putting away the sword full of pride.

Behind these two people was a battlefield full of corpses,blood and craters. We are currently in the west side of the Human Empire, where the borders with the Demon Empire are, the young boy is the Hero Of Pride, or just called the Sword of the Church by some people. He is one of the four heroes summoned in Eden by the Human Empire,precisely the Church of Pity,  to exterminate the demons that should be the bad people in this story. 

His name is Coral Shore..seems like a name made from someone without fantasy. He is by all means a handsome young man, with pure blonde hair and celestial eyes. His build has a good six packs thanks to the training he went under in order to become officially a hero, he was originally a playboy back on Earth and also a member of the Student Council of his school, he was in the same city as Aaron but not the same school, so they don't(fortunately..?) know each other.

Coral and the creepy man were walking side by side in the battlefield, arriving in a few minutes at a gargantuan camp where you could see a lot of people, male or female, in normal armor doing normal things for the military like training or hunting for food on their own.

The two were talking about the situation of the Empire.

"Lord Hero, it's a blessing that I got assigned to escorting you here, without your effort we wouldn't have never cleared the enemy troops!"

"Don't worry old man, it was nothing, they were like ants to me."

"No, Lord Hero, thanks to your summoning our situation got for the better. I respect your feats until now. Also, your military value is extreme, and your stats are closing the five hundreds point! Bless the gods that answered our prayers!"

"Well, that beauty of a goddess was really sweet to me, so I'm just doing my job, also, I like this world, partly because you are all true respectful and trustful people!"

"Obviously, you are truly our saviour, it's the minimun treating you like this!"
And so, under his hood, the old man grinned while perfectly hiding his face and continuously talking with that façade of his. This "old man" is one of the cardinals of the Church of Pity with his over 200 years.

"Also, old man, that strange black jewel that you used while fighting one of the five Squad Captains of the demons was truly cool! You should let me try it sometimes"

"When the day will come, Lord Hero, you will have it too"
He is also the guardian of one of the "Blessed Jewels of Heaven", an extremely important resource of the Human Empire.

Aaron got up by a powerful sound that copied that of a ticking clock, so he opened his before jumping back from the excitement. There was some kind of panel in front of him, with a red color and black at the edges. There was written something also black, that surprised him even more.

[Development of the Unique(Evolving) Helper System completed! Host ufficially selected, soul completely absorbed...to continue the programming of the system please touch the screen]

Aaron slowly moved his hand and touched the panel, which disappeared in a millisecond before reappering instantly with a new "warning" message

[WARNING! The system needs a powerful and knowledgeable soul to coexist as a part of the soul of the current Host - - - searching for a fitting soul - - - One soul identified in the mini-dimensional zone: - Lurr, the All Knowing and Almighty System - . Absorb the soul?  (Y) (N)]

Aaron was completely dumbfounded, again! This was incredible, no..unbelievable! He was trying to adapt to the new knowledge but it was extremely difficult with this kind of thing.

In the end, he just sighed in defeat and continued to read while opening his completely purple glowing eyes.

'WHAT? I NEED A SOUL?!' Aaron was panicking, where could he find a soul now? But then, he completely readed the part and started grinning in satisfaction

'Absorbing the soul of another system that is also a god will probably bring me a lot of problems, but also a gigantic quantiy of power, so let's do this, but obviously, in a cool manner!'

"SYSTEM! I HEREBY CONFIRM THE EXECUTION OF THE SOUL OF LURR THE DAMNED!"
[-What the hell are you talking about, little ant? And how do you know my name? I didn't tell you-]
[ ...? ]

'Aaah shit'  "Whatever, just absorb the soul" - [Soul Absorption initialized]
[-Wait! What the he- What the fuck's going on? What did you do? You damned bratty soul, you just confirmed war against the gods! You are doomed! Remember my words, you are doomed!-]

"Yeah, yeah whatever. Just don't talk" The destroying aura that just the voice of Lurr exuded was now completely gone and slowly the cries and the laughs of the strange system with emotions got more and more distant, until you couldn't even hear them anymore.

[Absorption of - Lurr, the All Knowing and Almighty System - completed, the mini dimensional zone will collapse in five days, 59 hours and 59 minutes. Completely merged the soul of the System with that of the Host, upgraded the soul of the Host to the Pseudo-god rank]

Time passed. She didn't know how much, but it passed. She wasn't aware of time in the darkness she found herself in. She was drifting between the realm of sleep and consciousness. She had stopped thinking of anything when she started to lose more and more information about her past life. The only thing that remained was her love for anime. She was happy for that. Still she was disappointed that she couldn't remember her life. Did she have loving parents? Was she great in school? Did she have lots of friends? She couldn't remember. Even her very last and recent memory was fading away at a rapid pace. It seemed like the longer she stayed in that dark space the faster her memories faded. There was no fighting it and she didn't have the strength to be stubborn. She would just let it happen. She figured that she didn't need her memories anymore. She wasn't alive anymore after all. 

More time passed and all she could remember was the animes and manga she loved so much. She wondered why they were all she remembered. Was she holding on to them. How could she hold onto the memories of fictional stories and not to those of her daily life? Was she so in love with these Japanese animations? 

Either way it was nice having those memories. She was always happy in them. At least she kept happy memories. Plus it was a way to pass time. In a space where she was unaware of time having something exciting to think about would do a lot of good. 

She had seen a lot of anime. She started to count them off as a way to distract herself. 

Naruto. Dragon Ball. One Piece. Full Metal Alchemist. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Fairy Tail. Rave Master . One Punch Man. Attack on Titan. Tokyo Ghoul. Mob Psycho 100. My Hero Academia. 

The list went on an on. She was obviously a fan of action and adventure. She hardly watched any romance and the only girlie anime she ever watched was Sailor Moon. Even that had some action. 

At some point when she was going through the names of some characters she felt the pressure on her body suddenly shift. She was startled out of her thoughts and tried to figure out what was going in. It felt as if the liquid she was in was suddenly draining away. What would happen to her if it were all gone? She still wasn't sure where she was. Yes she had thought about the possibility of being reborn  but she didn't get her hopes up. Not too high anyways. 

When the liquid was gone she felt intense pressure on her entire body. The sensation was very odd bordering on painful. She didn't know what to do as she felt herself being forcefully pushed towards an odd light. 

She noted that her situation would sound very cliche. If she could laugh she would. 

After some very odd minutes she felt very exposed. She didn't know what the hell she just went through, but she was hoping never to go through it again. The entire experience was weird and frightful. She shivered once cold air blew on her. She found that she could move again. She still felt weak, but not as much as the last time. She could hear voices although she wasn't clear on what they were saying. Her hearing wasn't up to date. It was a frustrating feeling not being able to hear. All the voices sounded muffled. 

Suddenly she felt a sharp pain on her behind and let out a pained yelp. She could hear the wailing of a child even through her muffled hearing It sounded so close by too.

Actually the second she yelped the child started to wail. 

Hold on a minute. 

She was crying. She was wailing like a child. 

Hold on a goddamn minute. 

Why were there hands all over her? Why did she feel so exposed? Why was she crying? 

She struggled to open her eyes and regretted the second she did. She saw a blinding light and immediately closed her eyes as a sharp pain shot through her. Damn lights. 

She felt herself being handed over to another set of arms. 

She wanted to sigh and exclaim in joy all at the same time. 

It seems she was now a baby and that meant that awful experience she went through was her birth. 

May it never happen again. 

So she was reincarnated. 

She heard a soft voice. By this time her hearing was very clear and she could make out the voice to be female. She dared open  her eyes again and was met with amazing rose gold orbs staring back at her. She had never seen anyone with such an eye color. Maybe because that wasn't possible. Well at least not in her old world.

The woman staring down at her smiled a loving smile and she wanted to return one. That was her mother. Only a mother would smile like that. She thought her mother was beautiful. Pale skin with amazing rose gold eyes and Platinum Blonde hair. How she hoped she turned out as beautiful as her mother. 

As she was admiring her mother there was a loud bang that made her jump. She tried to look in the direction it came from but her angle prevented that. 

"Honey are you alright? Is the baby ok? Are you both ok? "

It was obviously a man's voice and he sounded very worried and excited at the same time. 

"Yes we're fine" her mother giggled. "Please don't be so loud you'll startle her"

She heard the shuffle of shoes on tile and soon a handsome young man was in her vision. He had silver spiky hair and gleaming red eyes. She blinked as she looked at him.. A beautiful mother and handsome father. She was a very lucky person. With those genes she was sure to be a looker in the future. 

A big goofy grin spread across her father's face as he stared down at her. She was aware of a finger being wiggled into her tiny hands and gripped onto it tightly. 

"She's got a mighty grip" her father boomed in laughter as he dangeled her hands above her. 

Another person entered her vision. He was dressed in all white and had a mask over his face. 

"Again, congratulations on your beautiful daughter Mr and Mrs Kiddo. Do you have a name for her? If not would you like to go through some suggestions? "

The husband and wife glanced at eachother before looking at their newborn.

"What do you suggest Nico? " the husband asked. 

The wife, Nico, gently stroked her baby's hair with a smile. 

"I was thinking Shino. It's derived from Shinobu which means endurance. What about you Shiro? "

The man stroked his none existent beard in thought. 

"I was thinking Hīrō which means Hero"

"We can use both can't we? It's not unknown for a child to have two names"

"Good point" Shiro nodded. "I guess it's settled then. Our little girl's name shall be Shino Hīrō Kiddo"

"The enduring hero" Nico smiled happily at her infant. 

The newly named infant cracked a small smile. She liked her name. She thought it was cool. Seeing as she had a Japanese name and both her parents did as well she knew she was Japanese. For some odd reason she was having no problem understanding the language. She wasn't going to question it. Better not look a gifted horse in the mouth. She would stay grateful for having a second chance at life in her favorite country. And for having parents who loved her. 

Shino spent around a week at the hospital. Her mother needed to recover and she needed to go through the proper check ups. Her father was there every day all though not the entire day. He had work to do after all. She wanted to know what he did for a living, but with everything going on she never once heard him mention anything that would hint towards what he did for a living. She'll find out at some point. 

Her days in the hospital weren't all that exciting and she was yearning to get out of there and see where she would be living from now on. 

The day finally came. She was shuffled into some cute baby clothes and her father led both her and her mother out of the hospital and to his car. Shino was impressed by the model. She had never seen anything like it before. It looked like a hybrid between an SUV and a Rolls Royce. It was painted a sleek black and just looked amazing.




The small family got into the car and set off to their home. Shino was in her mother's arms with a good view of everything passing by. She watched multiple buildings pass by. Each had their own design and purpose. She didn't pay them any more attention than she needed. The buildings looked normal. The streets looked normal. Everything seemed normal 

The car stopped at a red light and she continued to stare out the window. There was a small park down the road. Kids were running around while parents sat with watchful gazes. There was this one kid with horns playing with another that had snakelike skin. She blinked upon seeing them and tried to get a better look. She didn't know if what she was seeing was real or if her eyes were playing tricks on her. The car started to move again and the kids were soon out of view. She dwelled on what she just saw as she continued to eye her passing surroundings. Those kids really had animal like features. Her attention was soon directed to a passing billboard. On it displayed a bulking blonde figure with hands on his hips dressed in a red hero costume. He had the  cape and everything. His eyes could not be seen. All she saw was shadows. He had two pointy bangs that reminded her of a rabbit  . 

She recognized the  figure. He is someone she had seen millions of time. She had read about him and watched him do amazing things. 

The man was All Might. 

She saw All Might proudly displayed on a billboard. She put that together with the kids she saw and came to an immediate conclusion. 

She was lucky enough to be reincarnated into her favorite anime. 

She was in the world where 80% of the population had super powers known as quirks.. 

She was in the world where being a super hero is a real and highly respected job. 

She was in the world of My Hero Academia.

So where do we go after we die? There are a lot of theories on that matter

Most people all over the world assume that the dead move on to the after life. The good people end up in heaven while the bad have to suffer in hell. Others assumed that you just wake up in paradise or something. She even remembered someone saying that maybe you get to watch over the lives of those you love. And others like the Hindus and Buddhists believe in reincarnation. They believed that someone who died with good karma they would be reborn into a good life. Those who did not have good karma end up with a bad life. 

Like any normal anime fan that had read a ton of reincarnation fan fiction of course the thought of being reincarnated into a cool anime world crossed her mind...

Once they were done on resuming their current forms, Alex and his Companions slowly walked out of the alley as they approached their apartment.

"This… doesn't look like a place for the heroes…" The sobbing woman said as she looked at the place that they arrived at. "Is it really fine that your place is like this?"

".…" The sobbing woman's words were somewhat right, as the apartment in front of them looked nothing like the ideal place for any Hero Team.

"Of course it is fine." Alex replied with a straight face. "This place is perfect you know. This is far from the main portion of the Grand Portion City, and very few people pass by here. That just means that very few will disturb us here!

".…" Alina, Queen Mother, and the sobbing woman did not say anything as they stared at Alex.

Only Asteria had the gall to talk, and what she said grated on Alex's nerves. 

"You just bought this apartment because you could not afford anything else."

"Shut up…" Alex muttered as he opened the door to their apartment.

For the sake of his pride, Alex did not try to observe the state of his apartment, although there really are some questionable things in the apartment that he bought.

"Don't look around like you are in a haunted house." Alex said as he saw the sobbing woman looking around her warily. "This place is safe, so there is no need to worry. Oh, and there's internet here too, so you can browse anything while you are here."

"Is that so? Well thank you then…" The sobbing woman wanted to continue talking, but her speech stopped as she fell asleep on the spot.


"What the hell?" Alex looked at Queen Mother, who looked back at Alex quizically. "Queen Mother, why did you force this woman to fall asleep? I need to talk with her yet Hell, we do not even know her name yet."

Queen Mother, who was caught in act the act injecting the sobbing woman with the sleep-inducing chemical, only tilted her head as she and Alina gave Alex looks of scorn.



"Didn't you see her condition?" Queen Mother said as Alina led the woman to  one of the beds. "She clearly was rattled by what had happened to her! Staying up for any longer will just be detrimental to her. Just.. let her sleep now, ok? If you want to talk to her, then just do it tomorrow."

"...Fine." Alex replied as he let out a yawn. "Maybe it is time for me to sleep too." Alex stood up as he approached his room, only for him to perk up as he remembered something.

"Oh right, I need to do some grocery first." Alex said as he placed a palm on his forehead. He then washed his face with some cold water as he approached the door. "Hey, I will go out for a bit first. Expect me to bring back some snacks later."

Alex then proceeded to leave the apartment while WEARING HIS HERO COSTUME.

"Alex, why are you going out in your costume?" Alina inquired as she saw what Alex was doing. "Do you want to patrol again?"

"Hey, its nothing like that!" Alex replied as he wilted under Alina's intense gaze. "I… just want to go to the grocery while wearing my costume… Doing that feels cool, you know."

"Hmph, boys." Asteria and Alina muttered at the same time as they shook her head. 

"Just… don't do anything weird, ok?" Alina said as she went to the kitchen.

Rumbling sounds could be heard there as the gluttonous swordswoman started to cook up something. "Come back fast, or I might finish up this dish that I will cook."

"Well, you always eat up everything that you cook by yourself." Alex muttered before dodging the cooking spatula thrown by Alina. "Ok! I am sorry! Its not my fault that your 'Nom nom nom' abilities are too god-like!"


Alex then proceeded to run to the grocery as fast as he could.

A few minutes later.

The cashier who price scanned Alex's goods stared at Alex intently as he handed the goods back to him.

"You a new Hero?" The cashier asked as Alex was about to leave the door.

"Uh, yes I am." Alex said as he closed the door. "Watch the news tomorrow morning. You will see me there."

Alex then proceeded to leave the store with a smug expression on his face, as if he just succeeded on doing something important.

When Alex went back to the apartment, he immediately went to sleep.

He slept for approximately 5 hours before he was woken up by a primal  shout of rage.


"You dumbasses! Don't you dare mock my love for Honey! I swear, I will beat you two up!"

Even if he was feeling sleepy now, Alex was sure that the voice came from Asteria herself.

Alex stood up as he rubbed his bleary eyes.

He then gritted his teeth as he decided to give Asteria some good ol' smacking once he catches her.

"Asteria, what the hell are you doing?" Alex said as he approached Asteria's location.

"Why are you shouti-" Alex then froze on his tracks as he saw Asteria doing something unfathomable to him.

The fairy queen, the very manifestation of nature itself, one of the main proponents of anything natural, was currently using a computer.

To say that the sight of Asteria using a computer at the middle of the night with everyone asleep was an understatement by itself.

Both Alex and Asteria stared at each other, as they tried to ascertain the current situation.

Asteria's cornered expression somehow satisfied Alex, as he was sure that he just caught her her doing something mischievous.

"Was Asteria looking a some kind of fairy p**n? Wait, does something like that even exist?" Alex thought to himself as he looked at Asteria.

 After 5 minutes of looking, Alex shouted out too, as his face wore an expression of pure rage.

"They named me Squidhard and Humboldt? What the f**k are these guys from SHA are smoking? They all suck!"

It took Alex some minutes to calm down, with Asteria laughing behind him.

"Hmph, don't laugh. You just got temp banned, right?" Alex said as he read the remaining comments on the Superhumans Online Discussion Thread(SODT).
"Well, that is just temporary." Asteria replied as she bobbed Alex on his head. "What you should worry now is the attention that you guys got."

"... You're right." Alex said as his eyes narrowed.

If what the people said as the SOBD was right, then Alex's actions were already known by many.

For Alex and his Companions, this might be a good thing, but right now, Alex had the feeling that the arrest that they made will complicate matters in the Grand Point City.

"But before you get worried about your newfound publicity, you should get worried about your Hero Names first!" Asteria said as she started to giggle again. "If you don't fix it quickly, you will surely be remembered as Humboldt forever!"


"Ugh." Alex shook his head as he realized that he must not waste any time now.

"Go, and chat with this Kingfisher guy." Alex said as he glanced at Asteria. "Tell him that we want our names changed, and that we want it now."

"...Ok." Asteria replied as she flew towards the keyboard.

Alex then watched in fascination as Asteria skipped all over the keyboard, as it seemed like she was using her body to type.

I suddenly opened my eyes as I felt a stinging sensation on my shoulder. Im not in the void anymore; I am in a room? A classroom? And for some reason everyone is staring at me?

"Simon Grey is present... make sure to stay awake in class." A middle aged woman spoke as she continued to read out names.

I looked around me to find that everyone seemed to be around 16 years old, and all of them wore immaculate rose coloured blazers and black pants and skirts. The blazers seemed so eye catching, I just looked at them and I could see the individual strands of rose coloured fabrics sewn together in perfection. Not a single strand was out of place and the blazers were all tightly fitted to their persons. It was like a movie, the lights shone on the handsome boys and the pretty girls, emphasising their 'light', their importance. Their clothes reflected the gentle lights to give off a subtle aura like glow of confidence and power.

I couldn't help but feel out of place. I mean seriously? I was on my death bed a while ago. I wasn't important, otherwise I would have had family to visit me. But nope, I was alone for practically a year; no friends, no family. But now I felt like I was surrounded  by the most powerful people in the world!

"James House."

"Present" a black haired youth spoke. He seemed to be familiar. He has the same name as my main character, what a coincidence.

"Piece of shit that doesn't even have an ability." A buff looking guy at the back corner of the room spoke.

"What's your problem, Jack?" A skinny kid with glasses asked in an annoyed voice.

'Ugggghhhhh... I wrote this scene. This is from my novel isn't it?'

"Don't worry, Dan. I can take a small blow to my ego." James comforted.

Come to think about it, I sort of remember the name 'Simon Grey'... he was definitely the guy I killed off in the 'siege'. He was the 21st of C-class, born to the head of the Grey family: Martin Grey. As things go, he never really had that much of a role in the story, he duelled James once, but was defeated easily. After a while, I decided to just kill him off when the 'ODC' attacked the school. 

'O wait! This place is 'Haven', the main setting of my novel!' Most Of the novel takes place in the school for the elite. Everyone had to get through relentless testing to get into this place, which is how James got in; by acing all of the non-Visualisation tests.

"Huh? You chicken? Piece of shit doesn't even have a backbone."

"Oiii! What did James ever do to you?!" Dan shouted angrily as he clutched his fists.

This is the scene that the protagonist meets with the female lead. Welp, James is gonna get beaten up bad... but as a C-class, I can't really help.

Suddenly a holographic screen popped up in front of me, it was out of this world. The individual pixels all seemed to be 100 times smaller than anything in the market! The photons tinged blue just like in any other sci-fi setting, and gave off a cool feeling.

'Wait... these are the same stat settings I used for my novel characters... DAMN! My stats are great!' Well for reference, an average person has '1' in all stats, the average Haven student has '3' in all stats, and a top grade genius would have anywhere from 5-7 in all stats. A single '8' stat was enough for people to faint, and a '9' was virtually impossible except for the female lead and some of the harem candidates.

"Haha, dumbest of lads no no no, you can't see it because if another try's to steal or have your card and use it to look, they can't even if they try to use it. it becomes a useless card with nothing to show and they can't see your stats, and if your hero card it taken or lost you could also go replace it easily for a new hero card like nothing if something bad happens to it.. You would just have to pay a small fee to get a new one.
