The library was an old three-story building that use to be a factory. It was donated over fifty years ago. And was one of the older building in the area. It had been updated in the last few years with new walls, stairs, and wiring. However, they had kept the worn wood floors and it still had a cool, well-used and comfortable feel to it.

She walked over to the front counter where the librarian, Mrs. Chen, sat working on the computer.

"Hello, Lina. I heard you finally got assigned independent study. It took those kooks up in the English department long enough, heh?"

"You're telling me. I didn't know how many more of those idiots I could take without counseling." She thought about how that could be taken for a moment. "The students, that is, Mrs. Chen."

"Sure. Your class time doesn't start until tomorrow, so I assume you're here for your book."

"It finally came in?!"

She smiled and reached beneath the counter.

"Just this morning. Blood by GRAY."She shook her head but handed her the book. "Sometimes I wonder if I should be worried about you."

Lina laugh. The game and the book was sort of along the same vane but different. The book focuses more on how one could tell if you could make potions in real life. That is if you had blood. The author of the book offer list and guilds on taking a potion from a game and make money.

"Shoo, now," she said, waving her hands. "You're terrible."

She took the book and walked to the back corner of the room where the wide oak stairs led up to the second floor and her special reading spot. She ran her hand up the smooth banister as she walked up, loving the feel of the cool wood. The library had always been a quiet spot she had used to think and relax since she had come to the college three years ago. She used it to get away from all of the whispers and names.

At the top of the stairs, she walked through the maze of books to a dimly lit far corner. The shelves formed a natural hallway that prevented anyone from seeing the corner unless they actually walked through. It held a large beige chair big enough for two and a standing light next to it. She never worried about anyone being there because the idiots on campus barely walked through the reference books on the first floor, let alone the second floor where most of the romance, fiction, mystery, horror, fantasy, and science fiction books were held.

She set her bag on the floor beside the chair and plopped down, pulling her legs up under her. She didn't need the light yet, so she opened her new book and began reading.

Zheira tapped the car window of their red Ferrari and waited for the raindrops to race down. It's been over eight hours since they hit the road. She kinda missed the comfort of her bed in Angleton, but instead of drowning in her emotions, she contented herself by staring at the dull line-up of trees in the corner of the lane.

Robert, her skinny father, looked at the rear-view mirror and felt guilty. Her daughter's back was bent on the soft foam of her seat, yawning at each second. They shouldn't have brought her with them but Melinda, her petite mother, was overreacting. They'll be in New York for a month and she didn't want to leave Zheira all by herself. 

He sighed. "You okay there, Zhe?" His voice was loud and throaty for such a small man. 

"Yeah!" Zheira raised her thumb with a cute smile.

Melinda pressed the bridge of her round glasses. "Is there anything wrong, honey?" Her thin brows draw together.

"Nah! it's nothing to worry about." His grip on the gear level tightened.

"That's good to hear." Melinda tied her dark curly hair. "Just so you know, I'm not angry. You can calm down. Just making sure everything's fine."

Sighing out of relief, Robert murmured, "Hope this trip comes to an end. Her mood keeps switching at each second." He loosened his tie and swallowed hard.

"You saying something?"

An awkward smile curved his pale lips. "It's nothing, hon!" He tried sounding cool, though, there's an edge to his voice.

Zheira didn't mind them. She's way too busy wishing to be on a soft bed and relax her body. Especially her back. It's starting to give her pain as they travel farther.

Out of boredom, she started reading on her iPhone. It's the only thing she could do best. Losing herself in the world of fiction.

"Love is a common mistake, we, ladies make. We let ourselves be captured, be vulnerable, and be crazy. Expecting that men would do the same." She read those lines thrice in her head and whispered it twice.

Melinda turned. "You reading again?" When Zheira nodded, she merely simpered. "That's lovely, Zhe. But, as your mother, I want you to not only read fictitious books. Business books are better, and they'll also give you important lessons. After all, you are the heir to our mining business. You needed all the info you can get."

"Oh, come on, hon! That book is boring. They don't even teach you anything important—" He cleared his throat when his wife glared at him. "Just kidding. Zheira, your mother's right. At least, balance reading fiction and nonfiction books."

Zheira looked down. "I'm only seventeen. Those books bore me too much, mom. I'll learn those next year or the year after the next," she whispered while playing with her fingers.

"That is the silliest excuse I've ever heard, Zheira. Those books will not only help you be a good businessman but will also boost your confidence. Look at you, you've been concealing yourself with that jacket of yours. Do you think that is okay? You need to learn everything before it's too late. I'm warning you, Zheira. If I see you reading that fiction book again, I'll confiscate your phone." Her voice was sharp but controlled. As much as possible, she's trying not to hurt her that much. She wished for her daughter to realize that there's more to life than hiding in a piece of cloth. 

Tears trickled passed Zheira's cheeks. Melinda sighed and wiped her tears. "Stop crying now. This is for your own good, Zhe. It's not always that we're alive to keep you safe. You need to learn to be independent. You're turning eighteen two days from now, but you're still a crybaby." She touched her chin gently. "Now look at me."

Zheira shook her head repeatedly. Melinda raised Zheira's head, but she closed her eyes tightly. 

"Zheira!" Her round eyes bulged.

Trembling, Zhiera slowly opened her eyes. A wild gasp escaped her throat when their eyes locked. At first, Zheira could only see the reflection of her eyes. Its blue iris has a slit-like shape in the center and was stained with red crystal-like particles. Until, a dancing figure appeared in Melinda's black irises. It was her younger self. She was turning and humming while carrying a cute baby girl with golden hair.

Melinda smiled. "I loved you even when you're still a child and that would never change, Zheira. If you can't feel it with the way we treat you, look straight into our eyes and our memories will convince you." She planted a soft kiss on her forehead before sitting straight on the passenger's seat.

Robert pinched her wife's hand. "That's so sweet of you, hon!" He smiled, showing off his yellowish teeth.

Silence enveloped them for a while. Zhiera was clenching her fist so hard. Her nails dug deeper into her skin. Tears were falling endlessly from her eyes. She leaned her head on the window. She's aware why her mother got to do that. Her doubts about their love were something they couldn't bear. But, what she couldn't understand was that memory thing. Melinda's aware that she hated seeing through people. It made her feel like a monster, and her eyes were enough for her to be treated like one.

A ring broke the pressured silence. It came from Robert's phone. "Hello? This is Robert Martin of ABC Company. How may I help you?" 

Zheira started reading once more. Though, she couldn't understand a word, she didn't stop. She's just distracting herself from the hatred rising in her soul. Like a snake uncoiling itself. She loathed everything about herself. From her red eyes down to her long legs.

Robert ended the call. "The Mason's are on their way, hon. They want us to be in Ippudo Westside before five minutes."

"They're really early. Let's head there first." She crossed her arms.

"How about Zheira?" He jerked his head to the back. At the mention of her name, she looked at them.

"She can stay in the car."

"We might be there for an hour. She'll be bored."

"What do you suggest? She'll stay in the hotel all by herself? That's not a good idea, hon. She's not used to be alone."

"How can you teach her to be independent if you keep treating her like a baby? Stop worrying about her. She'll not try sneaking out of the hotel, anyway."

It took a while before Melinda could decide. "Fine." She bit her lip. "If something bad happen, it'll be your fault."

Zheira's heart started racing. For the first time, she'll be all alone. She didn't know how it feels, but she's willing to find out.

When they turned in a narrow street, they found themselves jammed in traffic. Robert glanced at his wristwatch and looked anxiously at the line-up of cars before them. 

"We're going to be late," Robert said while massaging his temple.

Melinda patted his shoulder. "Just calm down. This is out of our control, you know. Traffic is inevitable."

"But how about the Mason?"

"You know, for a man you're soft-hearted. Stop thinking about them. We've been traveling for a day and we're willing to sacrifice our rest just for them. They can afford to wait for a while."

After their short argument, Zheira asked, "Mom, where are we?" Her voice was shaking while she watched a lot of people passing through the corner.

"Where in Timesquare at New York. Is there a problem?" she asked, noticing the sweats in her daughter's forehead.

Zheira shook her head and looked at the windshield. The cars were starting to move. She caught a glimpse of the big banners on the buildings. Mostly, they were advertisements for a certain product. What she loved was the big billboard, airing different trailers of movies she hadn't got time to watch. When they're in Angleton, all she did was to fill her eyes with new movies or else read new books and sip a cup of coffee. She missed it now.

It didn't take long before they stopped beside a tall building. It has a red banner just at its third layer and has neat lettering of CasaBlanca. From its first and last letter was a round thing that was painted green.

Melinda reminded her, "Don't ever go out without us. Understand?" She raised her tabby forefinger and shook it dangerously. Zheira nodded.

"Well then. Let's go." She then proceeded outside.

Zheira wore her black sunglasses and facemask. As much as possible, no one must see her bare skin. 

Two bonsai pine tree was facing each other in the corner of the gate, shaded by a red rooftop engraved by the hotel's name.

Melinda was talking to a guard just by the glass door. After a while, she patted the guard before going out. They bid their goodbyes to Zheira, planting a kiss on her cheeks and forehead. Reminding her once more to not stroll anywhere unless they return.

The moment the car moved away from her, she found herself shuddering. The guard looked at her with furrowed brows. Without any question, she was told to follow him and as they enter, her mind could only think of the possibility that this would be a long day.

Zheira's life of concealment is about to change. The seventeen-year-old introverted girl set foot in New York with her parents, unknowing that she will have to leave them. A new personality will awaken as she will find herself draining the life of her father. Filled with remorse, she will seek the truth of her identity, only to be trap in a memory. 

Wallowing in her demise, she will meet a perfectly handsome stranger who will revive the gift he'd given to her a long time ago, that will make her realize what she's capable of. She soon discovers that there are gifts she can't be grateful for, not when it is a curse disguised as a blessing.

An Xiaxia stood outside the ward. She was going to check up on Su Xiaomo, but just happened to walk in on their lovey-dovey interaction. She then sat down on the bench outside in frustration.
A tall figure walked past her. The person paused when he recognized her. "An Xiaxia?"
"Hm?" An Xiaxia looked up.
It was Yin Qinghan.
He had lost quite a few pounds, but his eyes remained bright and clear. The smile he gave An Xiaxia was very pleasant.
It was one of those hearty smiles.
"What are you doing here? Still not feeling well?"
An Xiaxia shook her head. "I'm fine. I'm here for a friend of mine."
"I see… You know what, I haven't thanked you properly for your help last time. How about we grab something to eat?" Yin Qinghan said with a smile.
An Xiaxia declined politely. "Glad to help. Don't worry about it. He saved me once before."
Come to think of it, fate was really a remarkable thing.
That time when she lost a lot of blood and the blood bank didn't have the matching blood type, Qi Yue had saved her life by donating his own blood.
"By the way, what's the relationship between Qi Yue and Qi Yanxi like now? Still awkward?"
"Just about the same as before. After all, people like us… are not welcomed in this society…" Yin Qinghan smiled self-mockingly.
An Xiaxia consoled him right away. "Don't say that. People are gradually becoming more open-minded and all love needs to be respected and blessed regardless of its form. Maybe the majority of people still don't understand you now, but I believe that eventually, they'll see that your love is as precious as everyone else's."
Yin Qinghan chuckled. "You're as… innocent as before."
"… Are you calling me stupid?"
"No, no, I mean it, every word."
An Xiaxia sighed. "Actually, I'm a slash fiction writer… you know, stories about romance between guys. A lot of readers like this genre. I have an autograph event next week in the city library with a famous writer. Her work is of this type as well! I believe that more and more people will begin to accept it!"
The look on Yin Qinghan's face turned a little strange. "Which day is your event?"
"Saturday."
"Morning or afternoon?"
"Afternoon…"
"… What's your pseudonym?"
An Xiaxia thought that an odd question. "Um… It's 'Break Stones on My Chest.' Do you know it? Have you read my books?"
"No… I'm that writer in the same event with you. I'm 'Princess Hanhan'…" said Yin Qinghan with an impassive face.
They exchanged looks… 
They both shuddered… 
An Xiaxia felt frozen by the awkwardness.
"Heh… you're a writer, too!"
"Hahaha…" Yin Qinghan played along and smiled, his facial muscles very rigid.
"I always thought 'Princess' was a woman…"
"And I thought you were a man…"
The two forced smiles and chatted some more about writing fiction.
A man with an imposing manner walked unhurriedly toward them down the corridor.
Seeing that they were chatting happily, the look in his eyes turned cold, which seemed to even cool the air. The two stopped talking.
An Xiaxia explained right away, "Nothing is going on between us!"
Yin Qinghan, on the other hand, never missed a chance to stir things up. Smiling wickedly, he said, "Actually… we do have a tiny something going on."
With a grim face, Sheng Yize grabbed An Xiaxia by her wrist and dragged her to a VIP ward that was always kept for him.
An Xiaxia was pushed onto the bed and the man's intimidating voice rang out. "So, he's your type?"


As an anti-fan of the idol group, Starry Night, An Xiaxia is happy to spend her time online slandering lead singer Sheng Yize.

Hey guys, I have some important announcements to make. 

I tried my best to get some planning done over the last couple of days and I am excited to say that I have a lot of cool events planned. There are going to be amazing chapters with unique scenes and fights that I have not seen in any other novel! Most importantly, The plot is going to pick-up and Michael is going to start laying the foundations for his empire. I know that it took some time but it is not easy to do kingdom building in modern times. So yeah Michael needed to get a lot of prep-work done first. 

Also, I want to talk about comments. I always try my best to reply to comments but I am going to stop replying to comments that ask about the future. First of all, you will get the answer in the future chapters so why spoil it for everyone else? Please be patient. But I will continue to answer questions that are genuine doubts. 
 
Another thing I want to talk about is Harem. I am not a big fan of harems and I actually avoid books in the romance genre. However, I have left the plot open to romance so we will see. But Harem is probably not going to happen. 

Lastly, I will start talking about different countries, religions, and companies. I want to keep the original names for countries bc I think it is important for the plot. I hope you guys understand that this is fiction and that I do not mean to offend any country. There will also be encounters with religions and again I respect everyone and do not mean to be offensive. I changed the names of companies using a very sophisticated strategy (Wubur, Pintel, Koogle etc ) to avoid legal troubles. 

So if you are someone that is very sensitive about the aforementioned topics then I do not recommend this novel. Even though I will try to avoid offensive remarks, I cannot be perfect.

The three children working on the Lego castle heard some thuds and other loud noises coming from downstairs but nobody was crying so they ignored it.
"This has to be the worst babysitter we've ever had," Violet sighed as she put together a turret.
"Probably," her twin agreed. "I hope Aunt Jen and Uncle Cameron come back soon."
They all turned toward the digital clock in the room. It was only 9:02 PM and the party wasn't supposed to be over until 10. It would be a while yet.
"I hope Mom and Dad don't run into Grandma and Grandpa Hale," she said worriedly.
Violet had been thinking about this a lot since she found out the party was to celebrate Hale Investments' 100th anniversary. The company had their last name on it so it had obviously been in the family for a long time.
Dad never talked about his parents but she deduced they were alive somewhere because Grandma Hall was dead and Mom talked about her all the time. She obviously missed her mother. Dad didn't seem to miss his parents at all.
She had wondered why for the longest time until she overheard a couple of her teachers gossiping in third grade. They had been whispering about how she was one of the secret children from a big scandal eight years earlier.
Apparently, her dad took over the company by force to kick his father out because he didn't approve of her mom and wanted him to marry someone else. After hearing that it all clicked into place. That scary man her dad argued with the day he took her to work back in preschool must have been her grandfather.
Not that Violet cared. She had no desire to see someone who disrespected her mother or didn't approve of her or her brothers' existence.
Noah tilted his head in confusion. "Why wouldn't you want that?"
"We've never met them," Kaleb explained. "My dad hates them."
"Only because they hate us and Mom," she added quickly.
She didn't want Noah thinking her dad was simply being petty. He had definitely made the right choice. Violet loved her family and couldn't imagine it being any different than it was. Her parents were perfect together; anyone who couldn't see that was an idiot.
"How could anyone hate you?"
Violet smiled at the earnestness in her friend's voice. He seemed genuinely offended on their behalf.
"I think it's because Mom isn't rich," Kaleb said with a shrug. "I've heard people talk about Dad before. Apparently he was a pretty big deal before we were born."
"He's still a pretty big deal, dummy. Don't you know he was the youngest Fortune 500 CEO ever?"
He frowned. "No. How do you even know that?"
"Don't you remember when Dad had to give that interview for a business magazine? They gave him a copy and I happened to read it. Dad is super smart; he's practically a legend in the business world," Violet said proudly.
She thought it was pretty cool her dad had accomplished so much, especially since he did it for the sake of their mom. Apparently he had always been a mushy romantic. Just looking at the way he acted around his wife and children you would never suspect he was such a big shot.
Kaleb raised an eyebrow at her. "You read something from a grownups magazine when you were like six? Why am I not surprised."
Violet stuck her tongue out at him. Her brother was always teasing her for how much she loved to read. She would read anything she could get her hands on, okay?
Fiction, nonfiction…it didn't matter. Books were how she survived being alone at school. Sometimes she sat with her brother and his friends at lunch but they were so noisy. She typically preferred spending her lunchtime in the library since fourth graders and second graders had different lunchtimes and she couldn't hang out with Noah.
She had actually run out of interesting books to read at the elementary school's library so her mother started taking her to the public library every week to get more challenging reading material. Violet always kept one or two of those books in her backpack so she wouldn't get bored.
"I think it's cool that you read so much," Noah said absentmindedly as he focused on building the Lego dragon.  "You get your homework done faster than anybody because of how fast you can read. I'm jealous."
This was true. Violet and Kaleb had roughly the same amount of homework even though they had different teachers and she always finished hers in one fourth of the time that it took him. He had complained about it more than once because she got to go play while he was still working at the kitchen table under his mother's watchful eye.
She shrugged. "You say that but kids call me a freak for finishing workbooks in class so quickly. Sometimes my teachers think I'm cheating on tests too. I'm not though; I'm just fast."
"Well that's dumb. They shouldn't give you a hard time for being smarter than them," Noah said as if it should be completely obvious. 
That's exactly what she thought, even if she wouldn't admit it aloud. Her mom always told her it wasn't polite to brag when she said things like that.
"People don't like what they can't do themselves," Kaleb said gruffly. "That's on them, Vi, not you."
Violet felt an overwhelming surge of affection for her brother. Normally he wasn't so great with words but she definitely felt his fierce love for her from those words, even if they weren't conventional. She leaned over to kiss his cheek.
"Thanks, Kal," she said with a bright smile.
Kaleb turned red. "Don't do that; it's embarrassing!"
She couldn't see what the big deal was. Cheek kisses happened all the time in their family. He didn't seem to mind when Mom did it. Then again, she normally only did it at home. Noah was watching.
He didn't seem happy about it either. A sulky expression made its way onto his face. "Where's my kiss? I said basically the same thing he did!"
"You're not my brother," Violet said as she rolled her eyes.
It was completely obvious. Mom said you weren't supposed to kiss people outside your family until you got older, advising her to save it for someone she was in love with. She couldn't even imagine something that far off.
Noah grumbled but didn't have an adequate response for that so they went back to building the castle in silence.

An old man was sitting in the waiting room of an operation room, he is around late-sixties and is wearing a hospital gown. Even with his age and strange attire, he still has a refined air about him. As he is waiting and reading a magazine another man comes in, much younger in his mid-thirties, dressed in a doctors gown with a mask and rubber gloves.

The doctor says, "Old Man Drake, are you sure you want to go through with the procedure? I know you are excited and treat this as your baby, but with your age, along with this being the first time this type of operation is being done on a human, there may be complications." 

The old man slowly puts down his magazine and looks at the doctor, "Little Matthew, once we get this through human testing, and a successful attempt, we will be able to market this, we already have many investors foaming at the mouth ready to give us their money. I have 100% trust in the bio chip, and you as a brain surgeon of many years."

The Doctor, Matthew, sighs and nods his head at the old mans stubbornness. He waves his hand towards the operation room. The old man stands up and grabs an ornate metal cane next to him and makes his way towards the room, at a slow, yet measured pace.

The old man enters the room and, his cane is taken by one nurse, while another comes and helps him on the operating table. The doctor comes in shortly after the old man. his eyes flash as he looks at the old man on the table, then determination fills them. 

The doctor motions to the nurses to put him under, and begins the operation.

My eyes go dark, this may be the last time I ever open them, yet I do not care, for whenever I think of the thing I invented and spent many years of my life bringing into being, I cannot help but feel giddy like a child receiving a new toy.

I, Andrew Drake, along with a team of well respected scientist, have created a bio chip, a computer for your brain. Through much trial and error, we have finally developed two final designs, One for public commerce which is nice but very basic, and a very heavily modified custom version, equal to even the best quantum computers.

I myself spent many years working on an A.I. to help me govern the bio chip, for I am old and am sometimes forgetful. It will be unique to me because I have not leaked the source code, nor even shown anyone it yet.

I agreed to be the first to do the operation, because many others have families they need to care about. I am old, I have outlived my wife, and my son is more than old enough to take care of himself. I have written my will just in case.

After what feels like seconds, I am blinded by a bright white light above my head, I feel groggy and I say, "Damn, did I finally go to heaven?" This elicits a few chuckles from the doctor and nurses, it was just the ceiling light above my head.

I turn my head to Doctor Matthew, "Was it a success?" My heart is calm but my mind is running frantically. Doctor Matthew smiles and says, "Yes old man, Yes it was." This is followed by tons of check ups, and many logic test to see if I turned stupid.

Thankfully, I did not. A week later I am sent home with a clean bill of health. I get home and then start to work, adding my A.I. So that I will have many things setup. A day later, it is up and running and I get the first message!

My chip, the special one has many added features that the normal ones do not, For example, cutting edge scanner technology, and a using a very peculiar process, we managed to be able to have a storage of a gegobyte, in such a small space, naturally only one can be produced over ten years, where I have the only one, and a second one is in progress.

Naturally I could store the whole internet if I so choose, but I won't, because the downloading would take longer than I have left to live. I start with having my personal library stored and uploaded. This only takes a couple hours, The scanners have a range of around one kilometer, pretty large, but hey, it is great. It does not need for me to open the books and completely scan the books.

I have over five hundred thousand books, varying from simple dictionaries, to advanced medical books. I would have more, but I limited only to non-fiction books, and some of the more famous literary works. There are even simple books describing how to make a fire, and other simple survival needs.

My colleagues would always joke about my book collection, and call me Thoth. Yet I would always joke that I don't have the chip yet, the knowledge isn't mine yet. Now I have it, at the tip of my mine whenever I need.

But sadly it is not completely true, it is like having a search engine in your brain, you have it there, but it takes a second to find it, and you cant formulate your own thoughts from it like normal memories and knowledge.

I will still have to read it like a book, but now it is all on the tip of my finger, with a thought and a few seconds, any topic I want will be brought up. Over the next few days I download some E-books for leisure and some other books to supplement the database. 

The news has been blowing up recently, some conspiracies about people disappearing in bright blue lights, it isn't too wide because there have only been some small cases of less noticeable people. People call it a hoax, some blame aliens.

I personally do not pay it much attention, but recently it has been going crazy because the president of the United States, during the State of the Union address, was surrounded in blue light and "Abducted" I front of many people, leading to mass panic. This lead to serious investigations into other situations, and all of the people who disappeared, have been reported to have bouts of dizziness and see "Blue Squares with squiggly white lines."

The numbers of people disappearing seem rather low for now though and the patterns as of who are targeted, are seemingly random. A month passes, and no one else have reported anything. I have been in the meantime reading personal books, while downloading some research assistants.

I've bought a drone and I have an overlay of its camera over my eyes, having the feeling of watching things from a birds eye view is kinda cool. At this moment I am hit with a bout of dizziness. I see blue squares with white squiggly lines. My heart drops, this has been denoted as a death sentence, no one knows what happens after.

I have my bio chip replay what just happened, and I am hit with dizziness as the same blue squares appear again. I still cannot see them, it is as if looking at them is what causes the dizziness. I know that this means there is almost no hope to change it in the limited twenty-four hour timeline. 

I start making the calls, sadly my son is unreachable, He is currently in France right now conducting a business deal, and my calls won't connect through. I hope I can see him one last time before I go. I go and sit in my room in my favorite reading chair.

I close my eyes and wait for tomorrow.

Conspiracies anywhere from aliens to terrorist threats abound, yet no one knew the truth.

People quickly dug up any information about people who disappeared, looking for signs about it. 

Even with governments trying to suppress the panic, it was found out that people would report seeing visions of blank blue squares and have bouts of nausea.

They would then be reported missing twenty-four hours later. Andrew Drake had these symptoms, so unaware of what was to come, he prepared for the worst.

- This story is mainly related to the game, but it's in a different universe, where it's the same character, but with additional characters added, with a different story, and different outcome, hence why it's called an AU.
- This has nothing to do with IF (Inverted Fate, which is a very cool, neat story written by Dorked), and it's not an AU in another AU. The name sounds like it's from IF, but it's not.
- This is the first out of the trilogy of Consoled Fate Origins. After that is routes for CF (like genocide, pacifist and neutral routes).
- It's a work in progress, sorry. Ya gonna have to wait.
- This book WILL contain some slang, and unnecessary words (also known as swear words). Please read at your caution.
- Now, a lot of people might complain about the fact that Chara is a girl. Technically, the gender is not classified, so I'm just going with the random. Sorry if it disturbs or dissatisfied you (and no, not anything related to LGBTQ).
- Sorry for short chapters. Just the way I write.
- Sorry for plot-holes. I'll try to get those fixed up and explained thoroughly to solve any misconceptions. Please ask away if you're confused at any part!

* The concept of this AU, as I said before, is in the story of Undertale, the original game. An AU, or an Alternate Universe, is a universe where all the characters have same characteristics of the original game, but different story, and named locations. An Alternative Timeline is simply the story of Undertale, still, except there is a change in a timeline that basically creates a new story, with the same character. The story Consoled Fate though, is really in the middle, as there is a "change" in the timeline, but the change in the timeline changed the whole story, and the characters with different characteristics, and the story itself. So really, there is not an official way to say how Consoled Fate is, AU or AT. I have trouble trying to determine the possibility of the route of the story as I'm a 14 years old trying to write this. So after thinking about this topic for quite some time, I decided to called this story an alternate universe timeline, as it combines the concept of both types of story. The story here is 100% by me (besides that Undertale recreation part) although there might be some parts where it might sound like copying, but I really did this by myself.

* A lot of these concepts are also drawn (although I'm not good at art), and sometimes stories can be redrawn into a comic or animated. I would love to animate sections of the story, but I just need to learn about animating. Feel free to do artwork/redraws/comics! I would love to see your creativity!

* This was all mainly all by me, but was inspired from the good part of the Undertale community, and the beautiful game itself, I suppose. The idea of creating an AU was already in mind for me the day I watched these Undertale's creative world, where it has a nice written story, and a solid plot. These good side of the community helped me to take an inspirational step, and create this story right here. I also enjoyed writing a lot about fiction, so I thought writing this would be a perfect idea for a bored 14 years old to do. All the plot was laid out by me, and the art concept (which can be found later on) was also by me. The idea though, didn't come from me. It came from the respected owner of Undertale (whom was Toby "Radiation" Fox), and the creators of these awesome Undertale communities. That's what made me decide to do this.

* The story is always going through revisions and therefore, not all events are officials. The roles for later books can be changed, which causes the story to take a different route. Therefore, I lose progress, which forces me to rewrite that whole specific character. That's why some things are not always being constantly updated (I plan a lot of these plots mentally).
