Anna's POV... 


Four months... Four freaking months and I am back on my feet and ready to go back home. Ella was with me and so was my mother and my adorable Alfred. Mom said Dad stayed back and would come back with Isa when she was done with her exams for the semester. I still can't believe Isa was done with high school and she's in her second year in college. Wow! Time sure does run fast. 


Mrs Grace helped me pack my things. She wasn't going back home with me because the doctor said I was okay but should avoid tiresome activities. Ella was carrying Alfred and we were heading out when I suddenly remembered I don't own a car.

 I turned to Ella, "How are we going to go home?"


"Oh huh... Ben's taking us home." 


At the mention of that name, I suddenly felt a lump forming in my throat. I hated him so much. How could someone just claim to be my husband right out of nowhere and I won't remember? Sure I did have a son but I doubt it was with him and even if he's the father, he sure as hell is definitely NOT my husband. I must have had him out of wedlock which I'm cool with but I don't need some low class douche claiming he's my husband when I know for sure he isn't and will NEVER be. He's just so irksome to be with me. 



As we got out of the hospital, there was a black SUV waiting for us. Mr Brown eyes and irksome douche came out to opened the front door for me but I rolled my eyes at him as I  opened the back door and climbed into the car.


 I couldn't help but notice his reaction when Alfred saw him. He struggled out of Ella's grip as he leaned into Mr Brown eyes "Dadda"

 He threw him into air and caught him back. "Hey buddy, how are you?"

 "Pwine" he said flashing him a toothy grin.

 I couldn't help but get lost at how adorable they both looked. No! That's wrong! He's a stupid douche! When I looked back at them, he was ruffling Alfred's hair. That's it! 



     I got out of the car and grabbed my son from him and glared at him "DON'T TOUCH MY SON AGAIN, YOU HEAR ME?" Ella and my mom quickly gasped at my sudden outburst but I didn't care. I took Alfred and sat at the last seat of the SUV and waited for the others to get in. Soon they did and the drive to the house was quiet which was weird but I liked it.

 We pulled up in front of a huge house, probably a four bedroom duplex or five even. I shrugged as I took in the beauty of the house. As soon as I stepped in, a woman who should be in her late forties approached me while smiling, "Oh Anna dear, welcome home. I made your favorite, Chicken taquitos. You'll love it" she grinned from ear to ear and I could see tears glistening in her eyes but I just shrugged it. I hugged her back and I already liked her, she seems friendly even though she acts like she's known me for quite some time now. 

"Uhh... sorry, you must be?" 

"Ms Williams," 
"But you can call me Carol if you wish" 

"Ms Williams is fine by me" 

"No problem dear." She smiled softly before going back inside the house to god-knows-where. 


I was lost gaping at the house and something felt so familiar about it but I couldn't make out what it was. I was brought out of my thought when someone cleared his throat. Of course, 'Mr Brown eyed douche'. "I'll just uhh... take you on a tour around the house." 

"I'll find my way" I snapped back and it made Alfred flinch in my arms while he was sleeping. I sighed and looked back at Mr Brown eyed douche, "Where's his room? I want to lay him there." My voice was quite cold and I liked it. That's the best way to treat people like him who know no shame. 

"Right this way" He led me through a staircase and into a room with boyish designs. Blue walls with light blue cloud-like designs on it. On one side of the wall was a drawing of Spongebob and Patrick, on the other was that of Tom and Jerry while behind was a drawing of Marvel superheroes. Wow! So cool... His bed was a red car with the drawing of The Incredibles on it. This is so cool and it's what I would want for my son. It speaks my taste and I love it. Well, I'm not going to let Mr Brown eyed douche know that of course. I moved swiftly to the bed or should I say car *chuckles* and laid Alfred on it. Then I pulled the blanket to cover him. 


As I walked out of the room, I noticed Ella carried a sleeping child in her arms. "I... it's that yours?" 

She chuckled before replying, "Yeah" 

"Wow, she's so beautiful. You told me stories about her yet you refused to let me see her. You're such a bitch" I rolled my eyes playfully. 


She chuckled, "She was with her grandma." 

"Okay I'll let this one pass."


 I gave her a knowing look with which she giggled as she stared down her phone, "I'll be going now. My baby papa needs me." She winked at me and it was my turn to giggle.

At last, I let him show me around the house ONLY because it's his house and I don't know my way around it yet. I had entered all three rooms; Ms Williams', Alfred's and the guest room. I guess mine is the guest room but was shocked when I stepped into the last room and I literally saw my being in the room, I mean seriously everything in the room seems like me and it seems like I've lived in it before. I gasp when I saw my properties neatly arranged in the room. "And this is–" He paused and took a deep breath. Before he could complete his sentence, I lashed out and he was taken aback. 


"What the hell! Do not tell me I lived in the same room as you!" He didn't reply. Oh my God! "This is Insane! You're lying. I accept the fact that you claim to be my child's 'father' and live under the same roof but you're taking things way too far! What the actual f*ck is your problem? I AM NEVER LIVING IN THE SAME ROOM AS YOU AND THAT IS FINAL. I AM MOVING TO THE GUEST ROOM OR IF POSSIBLE, I'LL LIVE WITH MY SON! But you–" I paused to laugh sarcastically, "You must be dreaming boy" 

With that, I flung my hair right at his face and dashed towards the walk-in closet. "You even put our clothes all in one place! You're a freaking psycho!" I brought out a blue box and started throwing my clothes inside. There's no way in hell I'm living in his room. I've tried enough to live in his house. How much more does he want, Geez! So annoying. It seems I had more clothes here so I brought out a duffel bag and shoved my shoes in it. With one last glance at the closet seeing everything there was his, I stormed out of the closet and met him still rooted to the same spot with his head hung low. I scoffed and stormed out of the room while bumping my shoulder with his. 


I dragged my bags along the hallway into Alfred's room. I sighed when I saw how peaceful he looked in his sleep. I moved over to him and placed a kiss on his forehead. "I love you baby" I dropped my bags beside his toy Range Rover and laid on his bed. Wow! Didn't expect to fit in the bed. I pulled him closer to me and slowly I fell asleep while holding my baby in my arms.

I woke up to the feeling of someone poking my breast and stomach while giggling. I slowly opened my eyes only to find Alfred staring at me with amused eyes. "Hey buddy"


 "Dadda calls me buddy" he grinned from ear to ear. On the mention of 'Dadda' I became infuriated but didn't want to show it in front of my little boy. Don't want to scare him after being away for two freaking years. 

I only smiled softly at him, "How are you baby" 

"Pwine Mamma" 

"Sleep well, yeah?" He nodded continuously while smiling and he looked to cute and just like me. "Aren't you an adorable thing?" I said using a baby voice while pinching his cheeks. He blushed and his look replicated mine when I blush. I can't believe I have a smaller male version of me. 

"Mamma" 

"Yes baby" 

"I wanno bathe" I chuckled at his use of words, 

"Okay. Do you 'wanno' bathe with mommy?" I asked imitating his tone. 

"Yes yes yes" 

I chuckled at his childishness, "Let's go then". 

I wanted to help him remove his clothes but he stopped me, "Dadda taught me how to do it." 

I watched in amusement as he pulled his shorts down then his shirt followed by his socks before looking at me with those adorable eyes of his. I pulled my hair into a messy bun as I went into the bathroom with him.

Right in cue Ms Williams came into the room,  "Hey kiddo, it's time to eat breakfast. Daddy's waiting for you."

Minutes later, Rico and Ash are having a Pokémon battle. Litleo, Piplup, Pikachu, Rapidash, and Lycanroc are watching them, cheering for them.
    "I'm a strong Pokémon trainer here, so I'll go easy on you, Rico," Ash said to Rico in cool seriousness.
    "Alright then," Rico replied back in cool seriousness, "What's your Pokémon?" His Lucario then responded in seriousness. In response, Ash get a Poké Ball from his Pokébelt, and threw it, calling, "Lucario, I choose you!" His Lucario then come out of its Poké Ball, and it stepped into battle in seriousness.
   "What?" Rico commented in stunned and amazed upon knowing that Ash also had a Lucario, "You had a Lucario too?" 
   "Yup, but I'll tell you how I got it later," Ash replied in coolness, "Alright, shall we battle?" Stunned by this, Rico seriously nodded in agreement with him in confidence and determination. Meanwhile, a girl and her Pokémon, Axew, was watching them from a tree branch, observing them and their Pokémon.
   Back at the fields, the battle had began.
    "But first," Ash said to Rico, in cool serious- ness, "Let's spice it up to the max!" 
   "Like what?" Rico retorted in serious coolness. Ash then responded by reacting his Keystone in his Mega Bracelet to his Lucario's Megastone. That Megastone, however, wasn't an ordinary Lucario Megastone, but a special one, called the Mega Lucario X, a.k.a. the Dragon Hunter.
    "Wha-What are you doing?" Rico asked him in stunning and amazed.
    "This is Mega Evolution," Ash introduced in cool seriousness, "A fourth and third Pokémon evolution that requires bond to do so." Then to his Lucario, "Alright, Lucario, Mega Evolve!" His Lucario then mega evolved, changing its body, form, and size. It then had additional dragon-related designs, and had a dragon-designed sword in its back. After all that, Lucario had finished mega evolving, responding in serious coolness, and make a cool pose.
    "Woah, that's totally different from an ordinary Lucario," Rico commented in stunning and amazed.
    "This is Mega Lucario X," Ash explained in cool seriousness, "Also known as the Dragon Hunter. A Fighting, Steel, and Dragon-type Pokémon." Upon hearing all these types, that girl, named Iris, thought in stunning and amazed, "What? A Dragon-type?"This interrupted their Pokémon battle. Alerted by this, Ash get a shuriken from his pocket and threw it towards the tree branch where Iris was standing on, producing a cut through the wood itself and then hit the main tree log, scaring the life out of Iris. The cut was about 2 centimeters from the edge. Rico was stunned and amazed by this, thinking, "What the...? That almost cut through the branch." Iris then sighed softly in relief, but her weight caused the branch to crack and then, snapped, plunging her and her Pokémon to the ground, hitting her front first with pain.
   "Uh, not you again," Ash said to her seriously. Getting up and dusting herself off, Iris greeted him in innocence, "Uh, hi, Ash."
    "Hi there, Iris," Ash brightly greeted her back, "It's good to see you again." His Pikachu then responded in greeting. Axew then greeted Pikachu back.
    "Uh, who's that girl?" Rico asked Ash in confusion.
    "Oh, that's Iris, my friend from Unova," Ash brightly introduced Iris to him. Then to Iris, "Iris, this is Rico Titus, my friend from the Philas Region. He just recently moved here." In response, Rico and Iris exchanged handshakes to each other as Ash smiled in approval. After that, Iris asked Ash in curiosity, "Hey, Ash, what's that new form of Lucario of yours?"
   "That's Mega Lucario X, Dragon Hunter," Ash replied in positivity, "A Fighting, Steel, and Dragon-type Pokémon."
   "What?" Iris responded in stunning, "Three types in one?"
   "Yup," Ash brightly replied, "It's a rare thing to most Pokémon." After that, Ash and Rico went back to battle as Iris and her Pokémon are watching them.
   And so, the battle resumes, with Ash having his first move, "Alright, Lucario, use Aura Sphere!" His Lucario then used Aura Sphere, putting its hands together and creates a blue ball of energy in between them. It then fires the ball at Lucario. 
   "Lucario, dodge it!" Rico commanded his Lucario in serious coolness. His Lucario then dodged the Aura Sphere in speed, missing the attack and the Aura Sphere, had struck some trees, causing a blue explosion.
   "Wow, that's fast," Ash commented in cool seriousness, "Oh, take this!" Then to his Lucario, "Lucario, use Dragon Blade!" His Lucario then used Dragon Blade, drawing its dragon-designed sword and swings it around. It then slash to Lucario. In fear, Rico closed his eyes in flinching, but his Lucario, with great bond, blocked the Mega Lucario X's attack with its arms, trying to resist it. Rico then came out of his flinching state and realized that. Iris and her Pokémon are then stunned and amazed by this.
   "What?" Rico thought in amazement, "Lucario can defend me?" Both Lucarios then discharged to each other and clashed again, and discharged again. 
    "Oh, yeah, take this!" Ash responded in cool seriousness, "Lucario, use Aura Sphere!" His Lucario then used Aura Sphere, putting its hands together and creates a blue ball of energy in between them. It then fires the ball at Lucario, who then tried to block it with its arms, but the Aura Sphere exploded in reaction, creating a dark-to-light smoke that clouds them. Everyone then took cover from its shock wave, and then opened themselves as the smoke clears. And in it, Rico's Lucario was defeated. Upon seeing it, Rico was stunned by it, commenting, "What? Defeated?" His Lucario then responded in fainted defeated. Iris was amazed by this.
   "Well, it wasn't easy to win against me," Ash seriously responded, "That requires a lot of training and bond." His Lucario then reverted back to its original form, amazing Iris once more. Calling back his Lucario, Rico calmly and softly responded, "Oh, I understand you, Ash." Then to his Lucario, "Well, great job, Lucario. Have some rest;" he then put it back in his Pokébelt.
    "Well, that was a fun battle," Rico brightly commented, "I wished to be stronger like you. Let's battle next time."
   "Now that's the spirit!" Ash brightly replied. His Pikachu and Lucario then responded in happiness. This follows a short silence, with 2 male Unfezants flying across the sky together, and leaves falling from a tree, as if it's the season of autumn.
   "So, Iris," Ash asked Iris, "Where's Cilan by the way?" Scratching her head in thinking, Iris answered, "'Well, he said he had some "investigation" to do, so he'll be not visiting us for a while;"' she then makes some quotation gestures on the "investigation" part. Confused by this, Ash retorted, "What investigation?"

This is the fiction story of an ordinary kid, who had humble beginnings, and aspire to become a strong Pokemon trainer. And along the way, he will meet new people, Pokémon, places, and even travel to other strange places where his true identity will slowly unfold, and new skills to acquire.

The next day we were called to the USJ.
I was excited very much for this day to come. It will link me to 'All for One' I will get to see Shigaraki Tomura.
I was excited because of my new costume too.. It is fully made of titanium fibres. It feels a little cold, but I guess I will get adjusted to it.
Momo was looking more awesome. I changed both of our hero suits from the original ones. 
I am wearing a black and white jacket and a black trousers. I possibly tried to cover my bruises a s much as possible. 
My 'Handkerchief of Zero' is a black pattern, but it looks like a cool tattoo, so I'm definitely trying to hide it from my classmates.
"Hey, Shoto-kun ,what are you doing?" suddenly Momo asked.
"Just thinking a couple of things. This is our first field practise in the USJ after all."
"You are right, I feel a little nervous too. But I'm excited for what I'm about to learn today." she gave a bright smile that could make my day.
I suddenly looked at Bakugo. He was trying to pick a fight with Deku still now. I will do something  about them.
The last lesson I can remember from Osaka-nee was that even if I was as powerful as a god, I could not bring happiness without teamwork. 
She said, "The only thing that I do not have are friends and teamwork. But promise me that you will do a good teamwork no matter what."
"Yes, I promise." that was the last thing I said to Osaka-nee.

I decided to form a team, but I will not do it now. Firstly, I will start by being a secret hero in the city. A hero without any identity. Then I will form a team, but I will still not reveal my true identity to my team. They may not have trust in me at first, but I will win their trust by my own way. Then.... I will make them stronger....
I looked forward and saw the Space Hero Thirteen.
Everyone were amazed to see him. He instructed us about our works and took us more inside the USJ until all we saw some people.
Finally, the time has come.
The students were surprised to see them.
"Everyone, they are real villains! This is not a drill. Act highest on the defense!" shouted the space hero.
His quirk the Black Hole is rather very strong when I see it so closely. 
The villains were outnumbering us. I quickly turned invisible as soon as everyone got into combat.
I pulled off my jacket and put it inside my system's hyperdimensional pocket. Then I pulled out my secret hero costume. It was a red jacket and a toxic mask with some badass designs.

When I came out in this costume, most of the students thought of me as a villain as it was pretty villainish.
I did not do anything in particular, I just acted to ignore the fight, but I used my supernatural powers to avoid serious injuries both for me and my team.
The space hero suddenly looked at me and tried to attack me. I quickly became invisible.

Then I teleported to another spot, my invisible was undone.
A villain quickly engaged me as I did not look like one of their members. This time I held his face with my right hand and evaporated him right away with my purplish red flames.
Seeing me killing a villain, the students and the heroes were confused.
 A black purple portal opened in front of my classmates.
OH, I have been waiting for that to come.
I have to go there quickly or it might hurt my friends...
The thing that came out was the monster who was actually a person. He was the "NOMU."

The afternoon sun shone brightly over Imperial with a constant cool breeze. Zhao Ya'Er's car finally parks in front of a shopping mall and the doors push open.
A valet worker walks over to the car, but he slightly tilt his head at the four women. Each woman was laughing at one another like no one else in the world mattered. However, what he does not know it that, they had just had a heartfelt moment.
On the way to the shopping mall, they were quiet and decided to enjoy the scenery, but Zhao Ya'Er decided to brighten the quiet mood. She played famous songs from the olden days that her mother and aunt often listened to.
When the first song played, Zhao Ya'Er went into singer mode and pour her heart out into singing. After the first two chorus, Yue Ling shrugs her shoulder and joins in with her friend.
Seeing that Yue Ling and Zhao Ya'Er did not care, Madam Lu and Madam Zhao glance at one another. Both middle-aged women were speechless at first, but in the next second they were the ones singing like there was no tomorrow in the backseat.
Remembering what happened during the long drive, Zhao Ya'Er laughs as she hands her car keys to the valet worker. She then joins Yue Ling, her mother, and aunt near the curbside.
The four women finally calm themselves down. If they continue to laugh, those passing by and sees them will only think they had become crazy.
Yue Ling wipes her tearful eyes and turn to face the shopping mall. She quietly gasp when she saw the abstract structure with windows of all sizes.
This is the same shopping mall she had come with Lu Tian when they encountered Balance. If she remembers correctly, this out of the world building is owned by one of Lu Tian's close friend.
What was his name again? Ah, that's right, Zhi Yifan.
"Ladies, shall we go spoil ourselves?"
Interrupting Yue Ling's thoughts, Zhao Ya'Er spoke cheerfully as she locks one arm with Yue Ling's. Even before the retired model could answer, she was already pulling Yue Ling towards the mall entrance.
Like time had rewind to their moment at Harmony Destination Spa, Madam Lu and Madam Zhao were struck dumbfounded being left behind again.
No matter how many times they tried to get close to Yue Ling, Zhao Ya'Er would suddenly appear and keep Yue Ling all to herself.
"Ya! Wait for us too!"
Madam Lu calls after and sped walk to catch up to the two younger women. Without any care, she strongly but at the same time gently pushes her niece to the side and lock her arm with her daughter-in-law.
She smiles and looked as if nothing had happened. Her other hand lightly pat Yue Ling's arm and she spoke sweetly.
"Ah Ling, no need to worry. Anything you like, I, your mother-in-law will buy it for you."
Yue Ling parted her lips to say something, but before she could, she felt another arm lock with her other arm. She turns to see who it is, and she is met with Madam Zhao's cheesy grin that was the same as her daughter's.
"Your mother-in-law is right. Today, we are going to spoil you even if you don't want us to."

Yue Ling was left baffled by the two women. She wanted to tell them it was okay, and she could pay for herself as she is not short on money, but… Seeing their happy and serious expressions, she couldn't bring herself to ruin their good mood.
Unable to tell them, she could only nod her head agreeingly. If she were to really tell them no, she knows that she will never hear the end of it.
Once they are actually shopping, she will sneak in and pay for their things as they have been too good to her.
As Madam Lu and Madam Zhao held Yue Ling arm in arm, it was Zhao Ya'Er's turn to be dumbfounded.
She could not believe that her aunt and mother actually snatched Yue Ling away from her. How can they do this to her? All she wanted to do was spend time with her best friend and sister-in-law, is that too much to ask?
However, knowing that she cannot fend off the two women, she heaves a sigh. She will wait until they are distracted and then squeeze her way and steal Yue Ling back.
Upon entering the shopping mall, the place was not as crowded as it was a workday. It didn't take long before the four women arrived in front of a store. This store had two huge floor-to-ceiling windows and a glass double door in the center.
When Yue Ling saw this store, a faint and soft smile curls on her lip. It was her store. Her brand De L'amour was carved in bold white letters at the top and really stood out.
Looking at the display windows, she notice that it was different from the last time she had come here.
Inside both of the display windows, there were two mannequins on either side of a large portrait. However, these two portraits were not of anyone else, but herself.
One was of her during her photoshoot for Beauty's magazine cover as the other was of her wearing her closing design for the Fall Fashion Show.
She was grateful that the visual merchandiser took the time to even put up her portraits.
However, what Yue Ling did not know is that it was done by Liu Shan.
The assistant had been waiting for the day she revealed herself as the owner and designer of De L'amour. He wanted to hang her photo in all of her stores to let the world know what a capable woman and gem she is.
"Ah Ling, there is something I need to tell you."
Madam Lu spoke as she looks at her daughter-in-law. Her hand lowers and she holds onto the girl's hand.
"I have been a huge fan of De L'amour since it first started. Even when it was only at its starting point."
She softly chuckles and her other hand pats over the back of Yue Ling's hand.

Hearing her sudden words, Yue Ling's eyebrows arch up and shock flash on her face. She stares at Madam Lu before her eyes turned moist and she chokes out her words.
"You are Z?"
She could not believe what she is hearing at all.
When she first started De L'amour, it was only a small boutique, but she always had a mysterious buyer by the name Z. Even though her skills from back then were not as great as now, this mysterious person was always the first to support her.
Even when her brand became a big hit, Z never stopped supporting her designs. She told herself that one day she will meet this mysterious person and pay him or her back for all the faith they had in her.
If she told Liu Shan to look for Z, maybe she would have met Madam Lu a long time ago.
Seeing Yue Ling's tearful eyes, Madam Lu lightly pat the girl's hand again. She sighs a smile and softly spoke.

Mysterious disappearance of Alia Stark.
Murder or Government cover up?
That's right readers the world renown inventor Alia Stark disappeared 2 days ago in the middle of Washington DC, by in the middle I mean she literally disappeared in the Capital Building.
Alia Stark was a war hero she served on the front lines with Captain Steven Rogers or as most know him Captain America. She was a howling commando along with a brilliant inventor that saved so many soldiers lives with the invention of bullet proof vests. 
She went to the Capital building to discuss with some members of Congress in a meeting according to her father Howard Stark. She was seen entering the building by over 100 witnesses and seen by several people in the building as well. No one saw her leave she just disappeared. What was she discussing you may asks. Well while I personally do not believe women should be allowed into politics.(A/N: General 1950s POV)  she was trying to stop an act from being passed. And I agree with her, this act will threaten our nation. It has been dubed operation paper clip, it is a plan to let Nazi scientists into the government to work for us. Please note several of the scientists have several war crimes ranging from genocide to illegal human experimentation.
Not to mention according to Howard Stark his daughter Alia went to discuss a plan and designs that would make the need for the German scientists obsolete. The plans and designs disappeared with Alia Stark and were beloved to have been on her person. Seeing as how she disappeared in this kinda of scenario several people are calling it a government cover up and it only seems like it.
There is currently a nation wide hunt for any information on her if you know anything please contact your local authorities.

"What is going on!" Dwight D. Eisenhower shouts angrily.
"We don't know sir." A secret service says
"You don't know! Why are there protesters outside the White House front lawn!" Eisenhower shouts.
Suddenly a secretary runs into the office and whispers into his ear.
"Of all the places  she could have disappeared it had to be the Capital Building!?" Eisenhower says
"Yes sir." The secretary says
"Get me the director of the FBI and the CIA, they better find her. Start telling the people it was a plot by the soviets. To steal the technology she had the designs for on her person." Eisenhower says sounding exhausted.

A genius programer named mike destined to die early at the age of 60 was hit by a truck.

An now we can see the one of the most ridiculous existences explore the endless path and infinite cosmos. As the new reborn goddess Sandstorm begins her Odyssey.   


I have seen a lot of different anime and read several thousands of books at this point. I will probably take inspiration for things and not even know it especially since my naming sense is trash. 
I also want to say besides Fateoria, my Mc, and the people in Fareoria it is likely I will not own any of the other worlds or stories that my character will interact with.

Just how terrible is my luck? I didn't let anyone see my card, that's for sure. So this pairing must be a coincidence, right? I turned my head forward again when I saw my opponent for Round 1.


The guy earlier who was wearing formal clothing, coal black hair and white skin, was my opponent. Even I can tell that he's a veteran at this.


I just released a heavy sigh in front of this dilemma I'm facing right now. 


"I guess we could struggle for a bit. But I have to tell Ayano Katachi that our chances of winning is very slim."

I reached my hands to my pocket and pulled out my card. 

"I guess, this is useless now."

I stood up, walked towards the trash can and dropped the card there. When I dropped it, the back cover of the card was shown. It was pretty, but I think It's very showy. As expected of the rich guys.

For some reason, I can't get my eyes off that back cover. Somethings not really right! 

"I see!"

At that time, I realized. I was fooled!

To confirm my hypothesis, I ran towards a beginner, and asked them to see their card. The card number is 18, but I don't care about that! I flipped the card and saw the back cover, and like I thought! This is rigged!

For further confirmation, I asked a random rich guy to let me see their card. He's so arrogant and was I about to give up but in the end, he let me see his card. I flipped the card again to the back cover. I just clicked my tongue because of my anger and clenched my fist.

It's confirmed! This lottery is rigged!

When the moment I was about to go to the platform, I noticed that the light is bright. It's not the normal brightness you'll see at an event room. The room was dark, so It's practical to use a bulb that's not really bright.

The reason for the bright light is for the announcer to see the back of our cards. For some reason, there are different kinds of designs at the back cover. 

Why would they bother to create different designs to each cards for beginners while the veterans don't have any designs at all? For creativity? I doubt that.

I checked my card again and compared it to the card of the other beginner that I borrowed earlier. My card has a yellow background design and a black main design, forming curves and other kinds of lines.

While this card that I borrowed has a light green background design and a black main design. I noticed that the background designs is a light colored, I confirmed at the other beginners. I asked them to let me see their cards for a while. Out of 10 people that I asked, there are exactly 10 people who has a light colored background design.

I don't think It's a coincidence. While the background design is indeed light colored, the main design is all black. I think they made it black so that It will stand out. 

Normally, a dark color will stand out more if It was paired with light colors. That means that there's something hidden at the black design.

So that the announcer will easily see the number of our cards, they made the light brighter, and made some kind of signal with the black design, so he can know our numbers.

But what kind of signal could this back covers possess? Directly writing numbers on it would be too obvious, but If they came up with something too hard, the announcer would have a hard time deciphering it.


As if our numbers can be written as a bunch of lines. Wait, a bunch of lines? I looked at the back cover again, but this time, I focused my eyes to the curve lines.


After I discovered the truth, I crumpled my own card and mixed up feelings was welling inside me. Anger, Regret, and more! 


The numbers could be converted to lines. The curve lines was our numbers all along, since their light is bright and the background color is light colored, he could easily see it. 

If our numbers would be converted to lines, It would be... The Roman Numerals! At first glance, the curve lines looks like a normal design. But that's where everyone's wrong!

The number 26 was written at the back of the card, but instead of the numerical form, they made it like this XII VI! With this, they can convert the number 26 to a bunch of curve lines.

It's not easily noticeable, for two reasons. No one really suspected this lottery to be rigged so there's no reason for them to suspect the back design! Second, even if someone would suspect it like me, they wouldn't look at the back of the card. Why?

Because he's too focused to the number and protecting the number he got! And if he looked at the back of the card, the announcer will see his number! I just clenched my fist because of the regret and anger that I'm feeling right now.

I'm so stupid! Checking the back of the card didn't even crossed my mind! Now that I already raised my hand, I can't just complain and demand that the lottery should be restarted.

In the first place, I don't have any solid proof. Even if I show them this card, they can just feign ignorance and say, "That's only a design."

I just looked at the ceiling, accepting the fact that I'm completely cornered. So this is utter defeat, huh? 

"Round 1, Ryota Kaneshiro's group, Sunflowers V.S Araragi Hideki's group, Cherry Blossoms. May you have a fair match with no regrets."




                  

                   END OF CHAPTER 11

Araragi Hideki is an ordinary high school boy and he attends a prestigious high school called Ahogane High School. But his normal life all changed when he was asked by the popular girl called Ayano Katachi, to be their school idol manager. With that, Araragi Hideki enters the world of Idol Managing.

"It's so gorgeous!" Mary exclaimed putting a hand over her mouth. Apparently this was her first time to actually see it. "How could they afford to have something like this?" She asked looking at John. 

John was equally surprised. He shook his head slowly in response. "How should I know. Something like that has got to be worth thousands. Rolland and I made the same amounts at work, so I know he couldn't afford it."

Hanna cupped the perfectly round locket tenderly in her hands. It's beautifully ornate designs sparkled in the sun light as it appeared lifelike and flawless to the onlookers. The background, behind the platinum dragon, appeared to be intricately detailed gold snowflakes mixed together with ice crystal formations. The platinum base allowed for the gold objects to stand out and be depicted with out a single flaw or inaccuracy to be found. The locket had a strikingly beautiful thin mariner chain, that despite its size, it appeared to be extremely durable. 

The platinum Chines dragon looping around to bite its tail was also no exception. The dragon's image had been raised up slightly above the golden wintery designs to make it stand out even more. Every single scale, every flowing tendril coming off its head, along with each tooth and claw could be seen in perfect detail. Not a single item was miss-sized or misshapen. One could even see the angry expression in the dragons eyes as it bit down on its own tail. 

She had never seen something so glamorous as this before. However, the symbol of the Chines dragon bitting it's tail looked very familiar to her. She studied it carefully tilting it from side to side in her cupped hands, but nothing came to mind. It was one of those moments that you knew you were going to remember it hours later, while doing something random, and feel silly for not recalling it sooner. Such a curious symbol. 

Hanna then carefully pried open the golden snap lock on the locket. It slid open much easier than she had anticipated and it's henges opened effortlessly. Inside was a single colored image on the right side of the locket's interior. The image was of her father and mother smiling as they held a small bundled baby, presumably Hanna caught in toothless mid laughter, in between them. Behind them was a vast open landscape of bright reddish brown rocks and rusty sand. It looked just like the area to the south of town. 

Seeing the happy image, Hanna started to tear up again. Up until now every photo or memory of her parents had been burned away from their home. She was so overjoyed to be able to see them once again. 

On the opposite side of the lockets interior was a short paragraph written in fancy flowing and looped wording. 

It said: "To our most cherished daughter, Hanna Marshal, born April 2, 2264, at Tharsis Royal Hospital. We will love you with all of our hearts forever, no matter what may come. We wish that your future be as bright as your smiles! Loved eternally by Rolland and Dalia Marshal."

Hanna smiled happily as she closed the locket and clutched it close to her heart. She looked up at the two rocky graves in front of her. 

"Thank you." Hanna whispered shakily. 

"We can stay here as long as you need." John said to Hanna as he walked over to the police building wall. "I can keep an eye out for trouble. So just take all the time you need."

"That's right sweetie." Mary said patting Hanna's back softly. "Today is for them."

The rest of he morning rolled by quickly. Hanna was able to get her feelings out and emotions let go. By the time noon came, the suns rays started to make the exposed gravesite hot. Saying her goodbyes until the next time, the three of them returned home. 

Hanna was sitting a the kitchen table with her new locket resting in the table in front of her. The Weathers had decided to leave open the doors and windows to let the warm air freshen up the house and a gentle breeze wafted in. The sounds of Mary working on something in the kitchen let Hanna know that everything was alright. She kept tracing the dragons image with her finger thoughtfully. She couldn't turn her gaze away from it's dazzling beauty.

"Where have I seen you before?" She whispered to the dragon. 

Something as unique as a looping dragon bitting it's tail should have been an easy thing to remember. There wasn't anything like it in town or in any books that she had read. Yet she felt as if she had seen it a thousand times before today.

Just then Hanna heard the sound of Mary's footsteps coming through the kitchen from the garage. She looked up to see Mary carrying a small sowing kit on top of a cardboard box labeled: Fabrics. 

"I want you to keep the locket with you, but it's much to valuable and noticeable to have on in public." Mary said to Hanna as she set the box into the table. "So we are going to make a suede covering for the locket. This way it won't scratch up the locket or irritate your skin." 

"Ok. That would be a good idea." Hanna replied leaning forward onto the table to peer in to the box. 

Mary opened the box revealing a vast variety of fabric patches, scraps and half used rolls. She had to dig around inside for a good while until she found the suede fabrics she had been searching for.

"Ah, there we go." Mary said lifting out three differently colored fabrics. "Which color would you like your lockets covering to be?"

Hanna reaches out to stroke the soft fibers of the suede cloth. It felt nice on her rugged finger tips. As playing outside all the time tends to do such a thing. A memory of her mother complaining about having rough hands popped into her mind. Hanna quickly tried to forget about it, before her emotions returned and focused back on the fabrics. 

"This sky blue one is very nice, but I think it's to noticeable and easy to get dirty." Mary continued flattening the fabrics onto the table. "If It were me, I would pick between the other two colors. The dark forest green or the russet colors."

Hanna inwardly agreed with Mary's assessment. The blue was pretty, but it did already appear to have a scuff mark on it. The   dark forest green was very nice. It gave off a shady cool, yet lushness vibe at the same time. The russet had a more earthly tone to it and struck her to hold a slight affinity to the photograph inside. 

"I'm not sure of which one to pick." Hanna said after a brief pause after hearing Mary's question. "I like them both a lot."

"Well then, how about we use both of them." Mary replied picking up both of the cloths. "We can stitch them together with equal halves. That way if you feel like having a different color on, you can just flip the locket over."

"That sounds nice." Hanna replied giving a small grin. The first one all day.

Mary smiled back, happy to see that her mood was improving. "Alright then. Let me just get out a good thread to stitch them together with." Mary said opening the sowing kit. 

"I want to sow the covering if you'll let me." Hanna asked. "But I think you are going to have to show me how to sow it together. Mother never taught me."

Mary nodded knowingly. "That's perfectly fine. Actually, every time your family had damaged clothing, your mother would come to me as well. She didn't know how to sow either." 

"Really? How come?" Hanna asked curiously as she watched Mary still watching for the right thread. 

Mary pulled out a white spool of thread, but put it aside. Along with a black, blue and red thread spools that she had already removed. It looked like there was a lot of odds and ends stuffed into the kit and made it hard to find things. Organization wasn't one of Mary's best qualities. 

"Oh, I am not sure." Mary replied, still rooting around in the kit. "She said that growing up her family was well off and could afford to just buy a new bits of clothing." 

"That must have cost a lot." Hanna answered. "The market here doesn't have a lot of good clothes."

"Ah, here it is! I knew it was in there somewhere." Mary exclaimed. She pulled out a dark tan colored, thickly shaped, spool of thread. "I thought that this would look nice with the two colors. Like a vine tying a tree and rock together."

"I like that idea." Hanna replied thoughtfully. "So what needle do I need to use?"

"Well, the needles eye needs to be big enough for the thread to fit. Yet not so big that the needle is to hard to push through the fabric. Suede is not all that strong and it could get ripped." Mary explained pulling out the appropriate needle to use. "Firstly, we need to make sure that the fabrics will cover the entire locket. Don't want it be noticed. So to do this we will cover the locket with two large square cloths, one color on each side."

Mary explained this as she performed the described actions to Hanna. Hanna careful watched every motion she did. 

"Next, take the thread and needle and start stitching them together at the top of the locket, but leave a tinny gap away from the chain. We will need to make a hole there so you can wear it." Mary explained starting to thread the fabrics together as the locket lay in between them. She poked the thread through the russet fabric and then into the green fabric behind. "Then make sure that you keep the thread as close together as possible. That way it looks neat and there are no gaps." She said as she reversed this action, going back into the green fabric and into the russet. "See how close I made the thread?"

Hanna inspected the work carefully. "I think so. Can you keep going so I can make sure I would do it right?"

"Sure." Mary replied. "I'll do the first half, then you can try. Just stop when you get three quarters of the way around. There is an additional step we need to do."

"Alright." Hanna replied watching Mary get back to work on the stitching.

Mary finished up her share in no time and handed the project to Hanna. She carefully did her best to mimic what Mary had done. However, he actions felt clumsy and the needle nearly poked her several times. Luckily she didn't get pricked by the time she got to the three quarters of the way point. Her work looked much more sloppy than Mary's, but it was possible work. 

"Ok, what next?" Hanna asked looking up from her work. 

"Now we cut the thread and tie it off tightly." Mary said taking out scissors to cut the thread. Then skillfully Mary tied a tight knot extremely close to the stitches. "Next, we start new stitching line up at the top, just like the first time." 

Mary then did just that. However, when she got closer to the first thread line, she widened the gap between the stitches. Hanna was about to ask why when Mary spoke. 

"I am doing this so that if you ever need to take the locket out to open it you can. You can just untie the stitching here and pop the locket out of it." Mary explained. "Than it wouldn't be to hard to restitch it back." Mary then tied a small, tight bow at the end of the stitching. "There how does that look?"

"It looks interesting. Are we going to trim off the extra cloth though?" Hanna asked looking at the odd square fabrics. 

Mary chuckled. "Of course silly."

Mary then took the scissors and trimmed away the fabric as close as she dared to the stitching. Then she cut the hole for the necklace chain and the project was complete. 

"There we go. Now put it on. How does it feel?" Mary asked handing it to Hanna. 

Hanna put it on and twiddled it with her fingers as it dangled comfortably on her neck. "I love it! Thank you Mary." She replied letting out a genuine grateful smile.

Several years after major nuclear events, followed by the rise of robotic armies, have caused the world to become post-apocalyptic. The year is 2276 and Earth is now full of anarchy, corruption and death. A lone woman carrying a large backpack, in the shape of a coffin, comes to a small post-apocalyptic town in the middle of Utah whose only existence rides on the Colorado River. There is a dam which provides water, food and transportation to the several thousand people who have been congregating in the re-growing town. Many had hoped to fix the hydroelectric station to rebuild their lives, but corruption brews. 

The lone woman stops at one of the bars and gets into a fight with some local gangsters who were mistreating a young girl outside. Causing her to become at odds with the gangs of the town. This is the instance that first roots our heroine, Lisa Cunningham, to save this town and prompted her to grow her Black Market Empire here! 

However, gangs are the least of her worries! Robotic army’s, rebellion militia, mutated monsters, mad cults, competing companies and lustful men ogled over her all the time!! Not to mention the strange events that slowly begin to happen around the girl, Hanna, that she saved. 

Yet there is more to Lisa than good looks alone. She has come back from over 200 years ago and is learning more about what has happened while she was in cryogenic sleep. How will she be able to survive in a hostile world and reach her own goals?

Ocean was there at the CGA Food Corporation for the welcome party of the new CEO Mr. Calvin Park. As soon as he mentioned his name, an usherette guided him to his seat. It was facing in front of the stage. 

They said that it was not only a welcome party but also a runway event for the newest designs of Bianca. Bianca is one of the newest designers in NY and has been popular as well in Asian countries. 

Bianca decided to put up their main branch here in S City. This is his first time to attend such a fashion show like this.

Ocean heard that this event was part of the CGA Food Corporation. He looked around and found that all the seats were already full. 

The place was suddenly blackout in a few seconds. There was a voice spoke, "Ladies and gentlemen, we would like to welcome you the launch of the newest designs by Bianca. In a count of 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1." then it turned the lights on the stage slowly.

One by the one models of the clothes were walking in the runway. Every dress they wore was exceptionally beautiful.

They were 20 models wearing different styles and designs. It was indeed marvelous and extraordinary. 

A voice spoke, "Now for the most awaited part that everybody will sure definitely will outrage. Here it is…" it suddenly dims the lights on the stage and aloud sounds of the background. 

One light focuses on the entrance runway, a model wearing purple mask walking the runway. She was very outstanding the way she walks, the way she carries the dress and the way she pose.

Everyone was very dumb fold. No audiences can stop their eyes sparkling like a diamond, as Rhianna walked in the runway for the last part of her design. She did not take off her mask, just as she did her modelling job in NY. That was her signature.

Ocean on the other hand, was completely surprise. The woman he wished to see was right in front of him walking like an angel glowing bright in the sky.

Her beautiful proportionally body that conquers everybody's eyes. Models went back to the backstage already; Ocean was still staring at the stage even it ended. He could not imagine that it was right in front his very eyes. 

The host stepped in, "So that was the end of our first part on this even and proceeds to the 2nd part. I would like to introduce to you our newest CEO of CGA Food Corporation. Ladies and gentlemen! Let us all welcome the very young, single and handsome man, CEO Mr. Calvin Park.

He came up to the stage and took the microphone to the host. "Thank you each one of you for witnessing the runway shows with the newest elegant and superb designs by Bianca. And, being here to welcome me as the new CEO of CGA Food Corporation. I would like to thank our father for giving his best to the company. For many years he shared his life, knowledge and success, I will do my best to contribute more as the new CEO. Thank you again everybody and let us enjoy this evening's party." A big round of applause heard as soon as he went down and greeted some guests.

The host continued to spoke after the CEO goes down the stage, "Thank you Mr. Handsome CEO Calvin for the warm speech. To our guests, thank you for tonight and please go to the right side for the foods and wines were to be served."

The people started walking towards the right side as the doors were starting to open one to another. They were foods and beverages set on the side tables. Waiters and waitresses begin their rounds serving beverage to the guests as they came in.

Ocean picked a glass as soon as the waiter came close to him. He was chatting with some guests in that party, talking some business.

Rhianna changed her gown for the party. She already told her brother Calvin that no needs to inform them as his sister. She wanted to separate her life as the daughter and sister of CGA.

She wants to be introducing as a designer Bianca. She glance one more thing at the vanity mirror for the last time. Sab was waiting behind her holding her purple mask with another design. 

She was wearing her own Light Purple off the Shoulder Short Sleeve Evening Dress. She raised her right hand to the back for the mask. Sab quickly hand it to her, she slowly put the simple masquerade purple mask to cover her eyes. 

She got up from the chair and headed out for the party. Sab followed her to the party.

Rhianna came from a surroundings where not too crowded people. She transferred school due to her family decision after her mother passed away. It was her senior year to a new school and new faces that she needs to adjust.

However, she did not expect that her life would change into something she did not imagine. Friendship and love.


He slowly opened his eyes, a glimpse of light from the surrounding. He came to his senses that he was not in his room. He realized that he was in the hut with Rhianna. ‘Oh yeah, Rhianna where is she?’

Ocean felt something of his body. He looked down and saw Rhianna was hugging him and his arm was in hers too. He was trying to recall what happened. He had a fever and Rhianna was talking to him about taking a medicine. From that, he could not remember the rest.

‘They were inside his sleeping bag and … they were naked.’ His mind was blank. ‘Why are they naked?’ Then he recalled that Rhianna was saying something when he was so freaking cold. He could not exactly remember what she said but he can understand why she had to do what she needs to do. Maybe that is why they were naked.

Seji, wake up. Master is calling you." Mei said while waking me up.
"Okayyyyyy. Five minutes moreeeee." I said.
"Master said that he's going to train you Basics of Void." 
"Void...Mhm..WAIT COMING." I said and stood up immediately. Grabbing my jacket, and running down stairs.
"Let's go training old man." I said.
"Go take breakfast first." He said.
"Uh, Fine." I replied.
Serina had made food. It looked tasty. Some types of breads, and some other dishes. Reiz, Sharon and Grim already digged in. Others joined them, including me. The food was tasty. Everyone complimented Serina for her delicious food.
After eating food, I asked master, "Master Zenon. Why they say that Void is rumored power? And why it's only rumor that you possess it?" 
"I'll tell you once we are out in fields for training." He replied.
"Yes sir!" I said. He wasn't wearing his coat today.
"Mei, Alec. I think you guys need training too." Master said.
"But, I don't know how to use vampire magic." Mei said.
"And, I can't hit people. Whenever I try to, it's like something holds me back." Alec said.
"I see." Master said. He puts his Hand on his chin and thinks; "is it also because of seal?" 
"Well, we can train nonetheless." Master said.
"Yes sir!" Mei and Alec replied. 
"I'll ask kiwari to train you, Alec. Oh and can you bring me my coat from my room above?"
"Sure." Alec replied and went up to get his coat.
"Okay listen all. Nobody mention anything about his past to him. He seems to be under possession." Master said.
"Then why you took him in?" Ella asked.
"Maybe, we can figure a way to fix that." Master said.
"Yeah. Can't you do anything about seal?" I asked Ella.
"It's my Grandma about who you are talking about. Her magic is far superior than mine." 
"I see." I said.
"It's fine. I'll look for a way. Until then, watch out what you say to him." Master said.
"yes." Everyone replied. 
"One thing is weird. There was one another magic too. And indeed, a fairy one." Ella replied.
"What you mean?" I asked.
"A fairy seems to be working on illusions and memory tampering recently on Alec. I could sense second fairy magic except my grandma." 
"I see. So, we need to find that fairy for answers."
"It's nearby. If, she was trying to tamper his memories. She must be nearby. Maybe He or She was keeping an eye on him. But, if its nearby. It knows we know about it now." Ella said. 
"Argghhhhh!" A scream from Master's room above. The scream seems to be of Alec. Me, Master and Mei rush to the room and see Alec in shock. 
"What happened Alec?" Master asked.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Are you alright Alec?" Mei asked. 
"Y-Y-ES BU-T-T-T THERE'S A DISGUSTING CREATURE THERE ON WALL!" Alec said while pointing at wall where he saw a cockroach. 
"Uhhh... its just a roach bro.." I said. 
"Oh, Let it be. It will go away itself." Master said. 
"*sigh* You worried us." Mei said.
"let's go down fast. And here your coat master." He shows us But there's another roach crawling inside coat.
"Alec, you are scared of the roach on wall. But not the one crawling inside coat." I asked.
"Eh? Don't joke. I know, you guys are trolling." Alec said. 
Me and Mei said, "No-o, turn coat around." 
"Fine." Alec said and turns his coat around, and goes blank.
"ARGGHHHHHHHHH!!" Alec screamed. 
"Yep, told you no lies." I said. 
"Let's go down." Master said.
"Yeah." Mei said.
"F-f-fine." Alec said while handing coat to master.
We go down stairs...
Kiwari was sitting and relaxing. Maybe, She's tired from killing goblins. 
"Hey, Master. How tough are goblins?" I asked Master.
"Not really much tough. But, they attack in crowds. And if they have a leader. That's a pain." He replied. 
"I see." I replied.
And the door opens. A group of adventurers enters the room. A guy with red hair and some major claw wound on his left cheek. He was wearing red cloths, a red jacket, a red pant and a black tank top inside jacket. Following him there was a girl and a boy. The girl was black haired and wearing a white dress with skirt and some designs. The other guy was also black haired, but he was wearing black shirt and black pants with some designs.
"YOOOOOOO, GRAMPS!" The red haired guy said in joy.
"Hi, Gramps." The girl in the white dress said with smile.
"What's up? Master." The guy in black shirt said. His skin color was pale compared to ours.
"Oh! You guys are back. How was quest?" Master asked them.
"Welcome back! Egan, Rune and Ariel." Serina said.
"Awe thank you, Serina. The quest was fine." The girl in the white dress namely Ariel said.
"It was easy." The red haired guy namely Egan said. 
"Yea easy. Sure. Considering I was the one saving your asses, it wasn't so easy." The black shirt guy namely Rune said.
"Ahah you got our back." Egan said while patting rune's back and laughing loud.
"Sure..." Rune replied. 
"ahahah Nothing less is expected from you three." Master said in joy.
"Oh, Hey Gramps. We have new kids here?" Egan asked while pointing at us.
"Oh, Yes. These are newbies who joined just yesterday. You guys missed seji's song performance." Master said.
"Oh really? Who's seji?" Egan said in enthusiasm.
"Hello, I am seji. Sejiyoi Midaro. Nice to meet you guys." I said and bowed my head.
"I'm Alec Rudsworth. Nice to meet you people. " Alec said and bowed his head.
"Hiiiiii! I am Mei Hazel. Nice to meet you guys." Mei said and bowed her head.
"Awe, Aren't those cute names." Ariel said. 
"I won't say it's cute." I replied. 
"Thank you." Mei replied. 
"Oh, I'm Egan Crimson. Nice to meet you people." Egan replied with a smile
"I'm Rune Bloodsaw." Rune replied.
"My name is Ariel Esriel." Ariel replied and bowed her head.
"Anyway, did you finish the quest? And cleaned the mess?" Master asked.
"Eh? Villagers can clean mess themselves. We were just gone to get rid of dragon." Egan said.
"They will manage. I made sure they can." Rune replied.
"That's why we take you with us." Egan said with Joy again.
"Like I said. I clean your messes." 
"Why kill a dragon?" I asked. 
"I don't like killing my kind either. But, Lately many have been found to lose consciousness and are going mad." Egan said with sorrow.
"Yeah, Villagers said the dragon was kind to them, he would even help them sometimes. And they saw a guy in black robes one day and the dragon went mad. Maybe someone is behind this all..." Rune said with a sorrow face.
"It's sad how some people can kill other beings easily..." Ariel said with a sorrow.
After hearing them I think; black robes guy? Could he be the one after this... one of the underworld lord...
"I see. Well, Anyway, You guys take rest. I'll need your help later on. Right on time. So, don't go on quest tomorrow either." Master said to them.
"Yes, Gramps." They all replied.
"Wait.. Do you guys know more about that black robes guy?" Mei asked while looking down. Like she is mad. Maybe, Because black robes guy was the one who had killed her father.
"Nope, nothing." Egan replied.
"Why you ask?" Rune asked Mei.
"He is the one who killed my father. I need to find him." Mei said with the same expression as before. 
Egan came close to Mei and patted her. He said, "I see. If we find anything we will tell you. And if we find the guy, I'll remember to bring her head to you." 
"Yea, You can trust us. We are a family now." Ariel said.
"Mhm, yes." Mei replied.
"Anyways, I got to take bath for now. See you." Egan said.
Egan came to me and forwarded his fist for fist bump.
We fist bumped. And he said, "You look strong. Let's spar sometime." 
"For sure." I replied. With a fire burning in both our eyes.
He forwarded his fist to Alec too for a fist bump.
"Welcome to Elemental, you all." Egan said and went up stairs with his friends.
"That's a good fighting spirit. Seji. But, Egan, Ariel and Rune are all S class adventurers." Serina said. 
" That's cool." I replied.
"In your language yeah cool. And RUNE! EGAN! ARIEL! YOU WILL TEACH THESE NEWBIES!" Master shouted.
"YES, GRAMPSSSSSSS!" Their voices came from their rooms Above.
"They didn't even bother coming out. Great. Anyways, Seji. We're going out in fields for your practise." Master said.
"Yes sir." I replied. 
"Before we go. Mei and Alec. You guys are free to go questing with Sharon and Grim. But, be back by noon. I have training for you guys too. Let's go now, Seji." Master said.
"Yes, master!" They replied. 
Me and Master go out open in fields. Outside the capital. 
"Seji. Void is a magic in which you can learn every kind of Magic except for a few." Master said.
"Few like?" I asked.
"Few like. Umm. Magic with healing elements. Void users can't use healing spells. We can use for ourselves but to a limited extent. And magic which is bound to special blood lines. Like the blood control of vampires. Blood is not a water type magic. And we can't learn it. It's just a blessing of blood line. But, Magic like. The Dragon's Fierce Power, Dark Demon Magic, Light Angel Magic and much more. We can learn those. We can also use Illusion type, but not as great as fairies. Fairies are excellent at that. While their relative Elves use Weapons and use mana to make weapons, and their attacks strong. Like humans do with swords. Sword reminds me. My good friend can teach you swordsmanship. You can use sword for secondary weapon. I'll ask him to teach you. If you like." 
"That will be great actually! I was looking for a special type of sword. And I understand Void now, but still explain more." 
"We can go to Dwarf blacksmith later on. Tell him what kind of weapon you want, and he will make you. He's best blacksmith I know. Oh, and my friend is from other country. And he wields Single-Edged. But pretty sure he can teach you other types too." Master said.
"I see. Actually, I also wanted to learn single edged." I replied.
I think: That sounds like katana. Would be fun to see if samurais exist here. Well, who am I kidding. There's no way things like that can exist here. 
"Anyways, back to topic. Let me explain you a bit of something before we move on to the actual use of magic." Master said.
"What is it?" I asked being confused.
"You see. Regardless of the races, mana is a natural energy and always raw mana have the color of water and density between smoke and water. Mana is present everywhere and when we intake breath we also intake mana particles. In short it's like an energy present in our bodies." 
"I see. But what that have to do with Void?" I asked.
"Like I said, mana have water colour, or you can say no colour. But, Void users have black mana." 
"Why is it black? And what that have to do with magic?" 
"Normal mana gets converted into magic by visualization, and the Element attributes running in our soul helps to power what we visualized. But, for void we don't have any parameters for magic attribute or any capacity to store all elements. We can change Void mana to whatever we wan't without bothering with magic attribute. For a normal person, when he learns a magic attribute, other magic attributes tends to go weak. But, a few people. Like the Master of top guild currently namely 'Mortals', the Master of Mortals is said to have posses all basic elements. I'm not sure if it's true or false but, he must have practiced a lot with all those magic types to not let them be weak." 
"I see."
"That's not all. Unlike normal mana, void can't put much healing elements in magic. And also Void acts as a curse sometimes. It can go berserk to protect it's chosen user, like it have some kind of consciousness. " Master said with a serious face. 
"That's scary." I replied. 
"Void is not a common power. Only a few are born with it. I only know five people who posses it. Including me and you in those five."
"I see." I said and thought : void is like a hack in game. We can do whatever we want but if we get detected, it would be bad. Like an open invitation to death. 
"Now you know much more about Void. Let's move on to next step." Master said.
"What's next step?" I asked.
"Tell me what you learned so far?" Master asked me.
"Alec taught me how to use Magic. The Hell Fire and I learned this Dark Spear myself." I said.
"Show me everything you know." He said.
"Alright. First, HELL FIRE!" I shouted and black flames cover up the tree.
"Continue." He said.
"DARK SPEARS!" I shouted and Dark spears appeared and went directly in the sky.
"That's better. Continue." Mater said.
"I know how to cover sword or weapons with dark magic." I said.
"We will come to that. Take it slow and show me bare handed magic." He said.
"BLACK HOLE!" I shouted and an idle black hole appeared. No magic was there for it to suck.
"Do you know, Black Vacuum can convert other spells into useable mana?" Master asked me.
"I didn't. It will just suck up spells." I replied.
"Nope. It can convert spells back to mana and supply to user." Master said.
"I see." I replied. 
"Continue." He said.
"Hmm. WIND PUSH!" I shouted and wind thrust me forward by a few meters. 
"That's basic stuff." He replied.
"Yes. Alec didn't teach me much because things escalated quick back then." I replied.
"I see." He said.
"But, is it true that, learning from a demon will turn you into a demon too?" I asked him.
"No. That's just a myth. You can't change races being a normal person. Neither you can be another race being a human nor you can catch up to the magic proportion of magic attributes different races have. But, that only applies to normal people. Though, said that, Magic Attribute proportion doesn't apply to me and you." He said.
"I see. So, that is only a myth."
"Yep. An old myth. Many people know it's not true anymore." Master said.
" I see." I said.
"okay, next anything else you have?" Master asked me. 
"Nothing." I replied. 
"Come near me." Master said.
"okay." I said while walking towards him. I am standing in front of him.
"Blow up." He enchanted, and I went flying away. Back where I was first.
I stand up and ask him, "WHAT WAS THIS FOR OLD MAN?"
"You can't even come close to me. Training lesson one. Land a punch successfully on me." 
"I can use magic?" I asked.
"Indeed." He said.
"That won't take much then!" I said with a smile.
I rush forward towards him again to see what he is doing with his magic actually." 
"Blow up!" He again enchanted. 
I again get blown away. 
"I see. Is there barrier?" 
"Wrong. No barrier. I'm just blowing you away with a little fire and wind. let's just say bombs." He said. 
"I see. Then WIND PUSH 20X!!!" I shouted, and wind bursts from my feet and I go flying towards him. 
Master just got aside! There's a massive tree in front of me coming closer, and I hit my head!
"You should judge your surrounding, and take advantage of them. Otherwise, they are just disadvantage to you." He said.
I stood up and said, "Alright. Old man. I'll be serious now." 
As he said I should take advantage of my surroundings. I lay my back on tree and visualize full Wind push from my back, this will give more thrust and speed to me. Since, I have more surface area to use wind push one this should make me even faster.
"WIND PUSH 20X" I shouted and went flying to him with much more thrust and speed this time. But, he again just got side and dodged easily again. I barely balance myself.
"Adding speed won't change anything. And you misinterpreted my advice. I said take advantage of your surroundings but, also make sure your attacks aren't predictable." He said. 
"I see." I said and think: if I use dark spear to divert him , I can hit him.
"DARK SPEARS!" I summon dark spears from ground and send them to him. I move a little and run toward him. 
He saw dark spears coming towards him and didn't move. Instead, he caught the very first dark spear with his right hand and destroyed other dark spears, He was very quick, I couldn't even reach him when he did that. And with last spear, he sent that towards me! I get terrified for a moment but, I enchant 
"BLACK HOLE!"
Black hole sucked up dark spear which was coming near me. 
"Wiw, saved." I sighed and relived and continued with, "Gramps, how did you catch my dark spear?" I asked.
"You see, I was going to teach you that too. But, since you asked. Let me clarify some more things. We can use magic to cover up ourselves with a thick layer of mana. Which repels any swords or weapon. It's easy. Just imagine mana covering your skin, and it will be harder than steel. I did that with my hand and held your spear from tip easily. But, if weapon covered with magic it won't work." Master said.
"I see. Well, we can do that later. For now, I'll have to punch you. Be ready Grampssssss!!!" I shouted and continued with spells, "MUD WALL!" 
Mud walls appear all around me and Gramps.
"You are limiting your ability by surrounding us." He said.
"I don't think so." I said confidently.
I have surrounded both of us now. If I use wind push I can jump on walls and have better momentum and speed. And continuous moves even if he dodges one or two.
I lay my back on wall and enchant, "WIND PUSH X30" 
I am flying towards him and I'll hit him probably. Almost... 
HE DODGED AGAIN. There's the wall. I crouch in the air, and land with feet on wall. The wall gets cracked. But I continue with "WIND PUSH X30" 
I again fly towards him, and he again dodges. My speed is increasing and this continues for five minutes. It's still going on even faster. But, MASTER IS DODGING ALL OF THEM !? 
I land on a wall and was going to continue but, DANG! THE WALL BROKE !!
I Again fell. 
"That's not going to work out. Your moves were still predictable." Master said. 
I'm breathing heavily. 
"I'll make it work out then."
I again repeat the same spells and it doesn't work. But, this time I make it even faster. 
"WIND PUSH X35" 
It's like flying at 40 Miles per hour. 
"Speed won't help." Master said.
"I'm not sure. ARRRRGHHHHHHHH" I shouted.
This continued for next thirty minutes with no break. 
I stop. I lay on ground. Mud wall spell breaks. I'm breathing heavily and say.
"ALRIGHT! I CAN'T DO IT!" 
"Egan did it in first try." He said. 
I gulp my own saliva and sit and ask, "Seriously?! He's one monster..."
"That's different, he used his dragon form to over size me." He said with a little laugh.
"That's cheating but, now I can imagine how he did that. But, on serious note. How strong is he?" I ask.
"He's very strong. One time he and Ella started fighting. They destroyed whole guild house and trust me, it won't make sense. But, I heard, Their was terror in Ella's eye. At the end of fight, he was holding Ella from her throat and saying something. I don't know what. But, Dragnia, my grandson stopped them. I was out on work that time. And Ella was new. So maybe, she held back, but I don't know, what happened that day. Everybody says it was just a little fight, Including Serina." 
"I see... your grandson sounds strong." I said.
"His mother was dragon. And my son was a human. He's a half dragon. But, his powers most likely surpass mine." 
"I see..."
I'm not surprised that Gramps have a Grandson. What's more shocking is that, Egan was holding Ella from her throat. I was helpless in front of her. 
"But don't worry. They are messy like that always. Anyway, let's go guild house for a little lunch break, and then we will continue. It's been more than an hour since we came here....
