I scroll back up once again and return to my character menu. 'Next up are talents, maps, quests, my personal HUD, and the house(s) sections. I doubt that there's going to be anything in them; besides my personal HUD that I'll need to customize to my liking, but it can't hurt to check.'

With a nod and a shake of my head to get used to my new way of seeing things, I thought to myself, 'This will definitely take some time to get used to.'

'There wasn't anything in the talents section, maps, quests, and the house(s) section; besides an indicator saying…'

Clicking on it didn't show any other information besides what I've already found out for myself. My personal HUD though, now that's what took me a lot of time to configure to my needs. I've got the beginning of a mini-map on the top most right of my vision, a timer counting up to help me keep track of time; because apparently my powers don't come with a clock, at least not yet, a beginning of a quest list under it that'll update me on any future quests that show up…

'I'm so glad I was able to color coordinate things.'

High priority quests are in red, mid priority are yellow, and low priority ones are blue. I've also left the brightness, clarity, and other options that have to do with my senses to it's normal setting.

'It makes sense that changing any one of them will constantly drain my mana. Plus, I'd rather improve them naturally or with other ways somehow. A constant drain on my mana like that might just end up killing me.'

'And getting that after my decision was a bonus.'
The mini-map and coordinating the colors to what I want took awhile. 'Too bad I don't have a compass or something to set up a compass rose to go with my map.' The representation I chose of myself on my mini-map is the generic arrow head, but I colored it a deep purple. The area I'm looking towards has a sort of cone that narrows outwards from myself and my arrow follows the direction of the cone. I'm glad I've figured out how to attach my representation on my map to the area I'm facing. 'That was a b**** and a half to figure out.'

Any updates and notifications that pop up will accumulate on the very bottom left of my HUD with an exclamation point and a number indicator telling me how many updates I'll have to read over when I'm not in a combat scenario or life threatening situation of any kind. I decided that a soft sound will accompany it when I'm not occupied fighting for my life. Otherwise, it'll show up in miniature in the same area and it'll be almost transparent unless I focus on it. It took me a bit to configure it to where If I haven't read it yet, then it'll add itself to the accumulation if it exceeds 5 updates or notifications and the latest update & notification will be at the very top.

The cool thing about having finished exploring my character menu was getting this message.

'I was expecting it, but I'm glad to know that I've got a benchmark to work towards now. Being level 1 isn't so bad and knowing how many status points I'll accumulate after I grow in strength will serve me well.'

With a gesture, I close the screen updates. 'It's time to scout.'

With a skip in my step, I walk out of the cabin and close the door behind me. When I took in my surrounding, I was slightly awestruck. The forest I saw before me was like something out of a movie. The leaves swayed thanks to a gentle breeze. The air was slightly cold as it brushed my exposed skin, but it's the type that can simply be described as revitalizing. I don't know how to describe the trees in detail; since I didn't know anything at all about trees besides basic knowledge and common sense, but they looked taller than normal. But then again, I don't know how tall trees can get. Wandering the forest at night was way different than seeing what I was seeing right now during the day.

"It's as different as night and day."

I paused to myself with a grin at that clever pun. With a sweeping gaze, I look at the grounds of my new home in a new light. There's too much grass all over the decent clearing around the cabin. There's a few sticks, rocks, and bits of metal here and there.
After my look around, I patrolled the area of the clearing near the trees and saw what I expected to see. 'Different small game animals that look like squirrels, some different types of birds, rabbits, hares, and that's a beaver.'

"Cool, a beaver.", with a nod of my head I walk over near a few of the small bits of metal in the ground to try and gather them and store them in one of the rooms in the cabin before I stop.

I slowly lower myself to the ground and crawl against the nearest tree and try to spot the furry brown creature I saw a moment ago. 'There.'

I slowly and quietly adjust myself to not attract it's attention. 'If there's a beaver here, then that means that there's a body of water nearby.'

I follow it's movements with my eyes for awhile and look at the trail it leaves behind. 'I can trace it's game trail… sort of. And then I can find where it lives and that'll be my 2nd source of water. The water from the bathroom sink within the cabin is my 1st. It's good to have multiple sources of food and water that's essential for my continued survival just in case of future complications.'

'What's preventing me from being all gung-ho and tracking it's trail back to where it lives right now are a few facts. Fact #1: I don't know this forest at all. I have a mini-map I can sort of follow, but I don't know how to mark locations yet. Plus, I haven't figured out all there is to my HUD and I don't have a weapon. Fact #2: I'm alone; as far as I can tell, in a deceptively peaceful looking forest. I've read enough stories, books, and I've seen enough TV shows and movies to know that that won't always be the case. Fact #3: I need to somehow hide my tracks, hide my cabin more thoroughly, and set traps only I know the locations of. I also need to hide my future activities from external forces. I don't want to start a fire knowing the smoke will lead others to my location. And the smell of the food I'll be cooking will definitely attract unwanted attention.'

Some in my current situation may think I'm overthinking things, being paranoid, or not enjoying myself. Others might say that I'm not showing my emotions because I'm heartless and/or a loner for looking like I'm enjoying myself. What I'll say to that is that they're not thinking enough. A healthy bit of paranoia can help you, and I'm not trying to open up my emotions at this moment because it won't help me.

Survival is my current goal. Food, water, protecting/hiding/and securing my shelter, and also making sure that whatever or whomever else steps in this forest will barely find a trace of my presence.

With a shake of my head to rid myself of those distracting thoughts, I go back to the bits of metal in the grounds and start digging them out.

After I patted down and covered the last hole I dug with my hands over with the dirt I upended trying to get at the last bit of metal, I placed and brushed off some dirt off the grass to make it look as if I haven't just been digging a small hole in my now relatively clear looking clearing. I quickly gathered what I had and went back in the cabin and placed it in one of the rooms in the 2nd floor that I'll come to name as the storage room. With this new piece of scrap on hand that I've wiped the dirt off of and cleaned as much as I could with the edge of my now dirtied shirt, I've now collected a total of 14 random bits and pieces of metal for future use.

I've also got a good collection of small rocks stacked outside and against one wall of the cabin and next to it is a good stack of branches, sticks, and small twigs.

'With my clearing looking pristine; besides the broken down wooden fences that I'll have to take care of later, it's about time to look for that river.'

After taking a few calming breaths, I ventured forth and walked slowly through the area of the forest I last saw the beaver at and tried to follow what I think looks like it's game trail.

My slow trek through the wilderness was going splendidly, and thankfully I had enough sense to slowly map out the area before I kept on moving. My mini-map was slowly and surely getting updated thanks to my methodical sweeping and assessing gaze. Plus, I didn't want to be caught unawares.
Thankfully I was cautious, because when I passed through some bushes, I spotted my first otherworldly monster.

It took me no time at all to use the sudden adrenaline that coursed through my body to hide behind the nearest tree without making so much as a peep. With agonizing slowness, I peered around the tree and took in the view of this… whatever it was; approximately 15 meters away from me.

The first creature I saw that wasn't an animal that belonged in the forest was a small green humanoid creature that looks like it's height only reach up to my knees. It had a very ugly and scarred face, small tusks jutting out of its small mouth, tiny beady black eyes, and it was wearing what looked like a tiny leather jerkin and dirty scaled shorts. It had scrawny twig-like arms and legs that looks like it was glued onto it's emaciated body. It had a dead rabbit in one hand and a bloody stone dagger in the other.

'I think I'll call that for what it is, a damn goblin…'

'I'm hoping my accumulated fantasy knowledge from video games, books, and movies prove helpful. I'm still a newbie in this world, so I don't think I'll be able to handle a single goblin. I don't know how fast, strong, and intelligent it is.'

'My fantasy knowledge lead me to believe that their stupid yet quick as well as relatively weak. With those limbs, I'd say their weak, but it was able to catch a rabbit with just a stone dagger. So it must be more clever than it looks and fast enough to kill a rabbit. I don't see any traps, there's a small amount of blood in the grass, and the blood on that dagger looks fresh. So it must have just recently killed it.'

I made sure to back away slowly while I swept my gaze around my surroundings. I made sure to keep at least one eye on the goblin that was slowly walking away with its' catch. 'Fantasy knowledge states that if there's one, then there must be more around. I've got to get away unscathed. I don't have a weapon, no helpful knowledge about the goblins of this world, and there could be more of it's kind out here.'

As I released my breath and felt safe after sneaking away from what felt like a dangerous encounter, I felt a sudden chill go up my spine.

'I think I made a mistake.'

I swept my gaze around and after confirming what I thought, I swallowed some saliva in anxiousness and released a breath in frustration.

'F***, I snuck away in a straight line…'

From the bushes, behind a few trees, and from the path I used earlier, was a group of…

zoro was skeptical and wasn't interested in a mystical sword and said low enough " The only sword I need is that can cut my enemies „ sanji was just fanning over Carina and Kaya said " I never thought such a thing could be real it just sounds just out of a fantasy but after seeing so many things I believe it's not a fantasy „

Then nami asked " so what were you doing on that island it's totally inhabited well that's what we thought until Nathan found you „ she looks away blushing a little and said " my boat  actually crashed at that that island after a storm 1 week ago „ 

Then usopp said " so you have been traveling alone all this time „ that made Carina angry and said " I was betrayed by someone who I thought was helping me but he was actually after the sword from the start , when I told him that we might be close to where the sword might be he acted like he was happy but a few nights later I heard him say that after he would get the sword he would kill me , For months  I have been trying to Find it and that Bastard knows the sentiment value I have for the sword he wants to steal it from me how could he „ Carina had was Angry and had tear in her e

Then Nathan said " If you're that close to finding it then see it through to the End Even if you had to do it alone just like you we also have an ambition that drives all of us In our journey , you're strong for going out to sea to find something that has a sentimental value to you And very few people can travel this parts of the sea which are considered really Dangerous , so I say you're strong you just need a little boost to fulfill you're dream „

Then Carina looks at Nathan when Nathan continue " Are you just gonna act all vulnerable are stand straight and move towards your goal if you want we could help a little „ 

Then Carina whipped her tears and said " why would you help me , I have heard Rumours about you helping people ' s during you're hunter days and also believe that you're a good guy but why help me are you also After the ship „ 

Nathan laughed and said " The sword does intrigue me but because you have made you're life goal to get that sword so who am I to get in you're  way just like you I also have a life goal too that is to become the Pirate King „ Then he laughed and his crew smiled or laughed at that and Carina was shocked a little but then smiled 

Then Carina said " well I got nothing more to lose so I will be in you're care for now „Then Robin asked " Carina do you have any clues as to where to look „ Then Carina said " I only got a journal and three books that were addressed to me by my mother , The journal only tells me about how my parents meet„

Then she  gets her bag which she hid under the table and smiled awkwardly " at first I wasn't sure if I could move this ship which was correct so I thought I could sneak in but you showed up but before anything Else I know about you Nathan D cross but what about others „

Everyone then introduced themselves to Carina with Luffy going first then usopp , nami , Kaya , Robin ,. zoro , sanji and finally chopper after introduction were done Nathan said " For now we camp here tonight and see what we can do „

Then Robin again said " Carina you were telling us about those books right „ Then smiled a little and took out 3books and a journal then she said " The novels I just carry with because they are the only belongings that are left for me by my mother , but I have already read them a Thousand time I know this journal has some incoded message to it but I can't seem to find it the only thing I could find was a two digit numbers and that's it I don't understand what does it mean „

Then Carina showed the numbers she found in the journal which made Robin think a little then she said " do you mind if I borrow them just for a little while „ Carina was skeptical and thought a little then inclined so Robin took the journal and the books with her to her  Room 

So the crew just Enjoyed partying and shearing story with Each other and Carina was surprised hearing about some of the adventures that the crew went on and said " Dinosaurs and Giants seriously they Exist I thought Dinosaurs were extinct and Giants are really hard to believe „

Everyone was smiling at Carina ' s reaction then Nathan said " The whole thing is truth  In fact those Giants told us that their is an island filled with giants , the world is diverse place Carina Of you haven't seen things doesn't mean they don't exist you should know grand line is filled with abnormal things that defies logic „

Then Carina smiled and said  " That I have to admit after traveling for so long in these parts of sea I have seen many illogical things from confusing weather to super powered people The world is filled with abnormalities and I like it „ 

Then Everyone laughed at what Carina said then suddenly Robin came and said " Carina I think I might know what that clue that you're looking for is but I would need nami ' s help in this „

Carina was shocked then she said " but how I have been trying to find the clue so long how did you come up with a conclusion so easily „ then Robin said " let me ask you this did you know had any knowledge about navigation skills „

Carina looked confused and said " well my navigation skills are medium I guess that's why I could escape but what's the relationship between that and this „ Nathan ' s eyes widened and said " Those numbers don't tell me „

Robin then said " Exactly at first I thought they were some kind of incoded message that only Carina could understand but when I went through the journal ,    several times The novels were referenced and then I saw a maps  in the beginning of the Novels more seriously which also had one of three numbers that was mentioned so I came to conclusion that these three maps make up a 1 single map of an island nami see the map „

Then Robin hand over the books to nami who looked at it carefully then widened her eyes and runs out of the dinning area and comes back after sometime with rolled up piece of paper 

Then Kaya said " what's that nami „ then Nathan said " isn't that the map of grand line that you took from Buggy so was right to conclude those novels are based on an island that actually Exist „ 

This new revelation shocked Carina and nami  Then search the Map and smiled ,  then she said " The map had coordinates longitude and latitude this place that  the map shows if I  correct then it's few days away from our position „

Then Carina said " How did you find out which took me so long just to find a few numbers that I wasn't even sure about „ Robin smiled and said " Don't be so hard on yourself Carina without you finding out the numbers it wouldn't have been done so quickly navigation skills are nami ' s expertise so that's why it got faster so you were important in this too „

Then Nathan said " so what do you wanna do we told you we would help and we did but if you don't want us to come with you we would just withdraw and move on to our next journey it's you're choice „ 

Carina contemplated and smiled " I can't get their on my own so can you help me some more I would appreciate that „ Everyone smiled at that and Nathan said " Well guys we got a sword to find so let's move now without wasting anymore time nami you're up get Atom moving towards the island „

Then nami said " Aye captain „and she  goes towards the control room to start The ship Nathan then felt a mile away but just shrugged it off and went to nami .

But on the other ship a guy with sinister smile said " found you Carina soon we will meet again just you wait .


Back with Nathan and nami 
nami was looking at the maps while Nathan was controling  the ship when nami said " Nathan according to my map their shouldn't be an island over their only The sea maybe we are wrong about the island „ 

Nathan sensed that Carina was listening so he said " nami their not being an island is the last scenario that I think , before  that I thought it must be an uncharted island or in another condition the island is no longer on the ocean but with in the ocean means the whole sink to the bottom of the sea , This situation can have many scenario but I want to believe that Hector barbossa  was no lunatic and that he really did possessed  Triton sword „

Then nami gave Nathan a dry look and said " is it really about Hector or his super sexy daughter „ Nathan laughed hard and said " oh my babe you getting jealous of a mature women I didn't take you for a jealous type „

Nami  then said " you wish as if I would feel jealous  but you attract a lot of attention and don't play dumb about Vivi she is our good friend so if  you hurt her then I won't forgive you „ Then Nathan said " That's what I love about you , know this you will always be the first in Every way possible without you I would feel Empty „ 

Nami blushed at that and pressed autopilot and grabbed Nathan ' s hand and dragged him to her Room and Nathan had a big smile to his face the rest of the way .

The moment Nathan and nami Entered the room They began to start kissing at the door itself Her tongue fluttered against his, and his hands were deep in the softness of her hair, and it was like time unspooled, He pulled her against him, thinking that he'd never get her close enough, that if he could fold her inside of him, He'd keep her warm, he'd keep her safe, he'd keep her with him, always.

Before nami could recover, Nathan undid her clothes and rolled her onto her back and slipped inside her. After the first thrust he had to hold still, knowing that if he kept moving, if he gave himself up to the exquisite tightness, the heat, he would explode. He wanted her to come at least once more, with him, and he didn't want her to tease him, which she used to do back when their relationship just started so now he was the Incharge and she was his to command .

He reached down and stroked her cheek, then her hair. "Oh, God," she whispered, swiveling her hips in a way he knew would send him right over the edge. She gasped and shut her eyes, . She had one hand on his shoulder, the other slowly stroking his back, from the nape of his neck to the base of his spine.

"You feel so good," she whispered . . . and then Nathan couldn't hold back any longer. He plunged inside her, deep into that maddening clutch, that heat. nami moaned, her hands locked onto his shoulders, her breath against his face, her voice in his ear, urging him on.

"Oh, baby," Nathan gasped as nami  put her lips against his ear, whispering his name over and over, like a chant ,If there was going to be awkwardness, it would come when they'd finished; when they looked down and saw that he was still wearing his socks and she still had her panties hooked around one ankle.

Then both Nathan and nami slipped inside the covers calling it a night cuddling each other under the sheets .

"No doubt, he's going to be late again."

He pulled the cuff up on his left arm to check the time. It's already seven twenty-five, only five minutes left before the meeting time. Heaving a sigh, Leon slumped his back and just walked off the pathway to look for a place where he can stay and wait. Seeing the benches around the area, he chose a table with two folding chairs with a dark parasol for a shade and quickly occupied the seat.

Leon took the black Tote bag off his shoulders and carefuly placed it to the table. From the inside, he took out his laptop and opened it immedeately. One soft press on the power button and the screen opened. While waiting for it to finish powering up, a lady in a uniform of white button shirt with long sleeves with cuffs freely opened and a black sleek apron tied around her waist approached him. She is holding a writing pad.

"What is your order sir," the lady asked in a practiced high energetic voice. 

"Any recommendations?"

The lady listed out the best of their store. Knowing that it is still morning, it would be weird if Leon order some candy colored drinks so he just only ordered coffee with some treats. The lady goes off after bowing, returned to the shop to attend another set of costumers. Now, the laptop finally logged in. 

Reaching out the bag, Leon fished in his hand to search for the bluetooth mouse that he quickly found. Next to it is a cinch bag in a size of his palms. He connected the mouse through the wireless connection and plugged in the broadban. The loading cursor appeared with the connection set-up appearing after. He completed the process and just by that he is now connected to the internet. 

Leon moved the mouse around and pointed the cursor to an animated shortcut icon. Clicking it twice, a window appeared to confirm his identity. In this window, a password bar plus the logo of the copyright showed to which he quickly filled-up. Hitting the [ENTER] key processed the inputted characters.

Click.

The whole screen went black. 

The lady returned with the order. Leon thanked him and proceeded on looking at the monitor. Anyone not familiar with this black screen will surely freak out. But Leon knows that in this type of game, things like blacking out only means that it is booting up. 

It only took a minute before the welcoming message appeared, with the company's logo and team coming after, ending with the site's title and added animations. His eyes glinted upon seeing the familiar interface giving him a warm rush on his chest.

Leon took a sip of his coffee. He typed in his username and password. The game recognized his account and the loading screen appeared. Leon leaned on the chair while waiting for the loading bar to finish, then a group of students found him resting and approached him.

"Good morning," a guy with the light colored hair greeted him. The people around him greeted Leon as well. "Oh, where's Shin?"
