We got back to SNPC and once again Mary showed me the way back to my dorm. She helped me get all my stuff to the porch of my dorm. "Thanks Mary, I guess I'll see you later." "No problem, if you ever need to talk about anything, my office is room 319 and my number is 469-764-8972." "Thanks Mary." 


       I started bringing my stuff in my room of the dorm when my dorm mates noticed how much I had. "We could help you if you want." Max said. "We could?" asked Melanie to David. Max elbowed Melanie, "Yes, we could." "Thank you, I really appreciate it." I said. "Cool, so what can we do to help?" Melanie asked. "Just bring my stuff outside of my room, I can take care of the rest." "You got it." Max said. 


       Soon enough all of my stuff was put up in my room the way

 I wanted it to be. "Thanks guys, you didn't have to do that." I said after I was done. "Hey, that's what friends are for." Max replied with  a smile. "It's nice to know I have friends here. I'm still not used to living here and having supernatural powers." "You'll get used to it eventually." Melanie said right before she hugged me.


       "So you start your classes tomorrow right?" David asked. "Yeah, I'm a little nervous. I've never had supernatural classes before. What are they like?" "Well, in supernatural classes they teach us how to use our powers. The more we learn about them and practice them, the stronger they get." David said. "They also teach us some spells to use when defending ourselves, or spells to use in general." Max added. "Some spells take up more energy than others. Some are really easy to cast, others aren't." Melanie said. "I guess that doesn't sound so bad." I said. 


       "So, what are your classes?" Melanie asked. "My first period is advanced math and fire magic. My second period is advanced english and emotion control. My third period is advanced chemistry and basic spells. My fourth period is advanced history and weather control. My fifth period is magical self defense. My sixth period is  sun/light magic. My seventh period is art and my eighth period is a cooking class."


       "The cooking class sounds fun. Does that mean you'll cook for us?" Max asked with a hopeful smile. I laughed "Sure, just not everyday."  "Speaking of cooking, we really need to eat dinner. Any suggestions?" Melanie said. "Lasagna?" David asked. "I don't know how to make lasagna." Max said. "I usually cook because these two have no cooking ability." Max explained. "Oh. Well, I know how to make lasagna. I could show you how." I offered. "That would be great, thanks." Max replied.


       Max and I went to the store within the supernatural community to get what we needed. When we arrived back at the dorm we started cooking. We put the lasagna in the oven and talked while we waited for it to be ready. 


       "Have you always known you were a supernatural being?" I asked. "No, I found out when I was thirteen years old. I thought it was super cool when all of the sudden I could talk to my dog. My parents caught me talking to him one day and sent me here. I've been here ever since." "That sounds terrible. Do you ever miss your parents?" I asked concerned. "Yeah, but we talk on the phone almost every day and video chat a few times every now and then." 


       "Well at least you can still talk to your parents." I said sadly. "I'm sorry you lost parents. I can't even imagine the pain it puts you through." "Yeah, it's really hard going on in life without them. The first night I came here I cried for two hours. I just want my parents back so badly. I can't believe they're really gone." I felt my eyes start to water then I looked down at my feet. A single tear rolled down my face. Max tilted my head back up and wiped my tear away. "You'll get through this, I promise." Max wrapped me in a tight bear hug. The timer on the oven went off. Max let me go and took the lasagna out of the oven. "Wow that smells good." He looked at me "It's gonna be ok." he said sympathetically. "Eventually." I replied with a sad smile. 


       I wiped the rest of my tears away and called out "Dinner's ready!" Melanie and David came in and we all ate our dinner. After dinner David did the dishes, Max wiped down the counters, Melanie swept the floor, and I took the trash out.


       I was standing outside by the trashcan when a shadow-like creature appeared, at first I thought I was seeing things but then it tried to attack me. On instinct I shot a small ball of light at it and it disappeared, leaving behind a small black rock. I picked it up and put it in my pocket.


       When I went back inside I said goodnight to everyone then went to bed. I don't know what that shadow thing was or why it left behind that rock, but I was tired and had to be up early the next day for my new school.

I looked in the mirror and brushed my long pitch black faded to snow white hair and put on my new high school uniform I realized that I had a guys uniform. I decided to go with it and cut my hair then my magic shortend the fade. then I descysed my chest. looked in the mirror I looked like a guy. then I opened a portal to the school it looked cool then I realized that I forgot to pack incase I got in. then i used the portal to get my stuff and go back to the school. wen I entered the teachers gave the exam and I passed with flying colors. the teacher exscored me to the desk which I wuld get my dorm number at. after I got my dorm number I headed to the dorm I went in to see a guy without a shirt and spikey red hair with uniform pants on. "hello" he said I replied "hi" in a guyish voice. "you must be my new roomie" he said so I replyed "yes."

"I've never sneezed so much"

Once on the plane, I went into sneezing frenzies. Turns out there's a plane just for supernaturals. So you could guess what I've been doing this whole time. 

While on this lovely plane ride, which isn't even going to Phoenix Arizona. Yeah apparently, while I was getting seated, the plane hostess said to make sure everyone is seated, before we could go through the magical Gateway. This is pretty cool, my first gateway. 

I keep getting dirty looks from people on the plane. sometimes sneezing isn't always the best thing. There was this really cute guy seated next to me, it was all good till I started sneezing. That's when I found out I was on a supernatural plane.

The cute guy next to me is a were-cat. I wouldn't know anything about their kind. Were-Cats usually stick to their own. Like werewolf's, they mostly come in chowders. It's like a pack, but for cats. If I don't count witches. A group of witches is usually called a coven. I think you have to be born in one to be a part of one.

However, it's anyone's guess seeing how I've never meant any other supernaturals. Well, I think at my last school, I think there might have been some, but I never got close enough to check.

When your accident prone, people don't seem to go anywhere near you.

My plane touched down at 9:30 AM on the dot. I exited the plane as quickly as I could and made my way to the luggage carousel. I was so anxious and excited.

After I got my stuff, started looking for a sign.

It took about 15 minutes to find.

'Huntington Northwood Academy Students'

I slowly made my way to the dude hold the sign. 

"ACHOO!! ACHOO!!" I started sneezing the moment, I was getting close to him. I raised my hands to cover my nose. 'Achoo" When I finally stopped sneezing, I took second to count my sneezes. 

Three, three times that's means I looked up at the fellow standing in front of me. 

"You must be Hazel, I'd shake your hand..but" He cut himself off and glanced at my hands. 

Vampire.

I excused myself for a few minutes, to go to the restroom and wash my hands. I took a few minutes to collect myself. I glanced up at the restroom mirror, up to see my gray eyes looking back at me. At my 5'11 frame, I was on the skinny side, meaning I had a pretty fast metabolism. Light brown skin, pink and brown lips. Long black curly hair. That's looked like an honest mess. I now know why people were looking at me weirdly. I quickly reached into my carry on. Looking for a comb.

Mr.Vampire told me to meet him at the car. 
Vampire..Vampire..Vampire
I couldn't say it enough time to get it through my head. I'm meeting my very first Vampire. Too bad humans don't know or else I would have tweeted it out. 

By the time I got out of the restroom, it was time to head to the school. 

Mr. Vampire, by the way, is named Jim, A vampire named Jim. That's cool.

"Hazel I'm very sure You will enjoy this school." Jim smiled at me. 

"What's living there like?" I can't say I've heard much about the Academy. 

"It's pretty much like any school, but there's magic." He winked at me after he said the word magic.

If I could flirt my way out of a paper bag I might have said something super cool. Like nice tie. Because ties are cool. 

"Cool"﻿

We arrived at the school in about 4 hours. however, it seemed shorter maybe it was because I kept falling asleep. That could actually be it. The school honestly look like the school from 'Harry Potter.' Which was pretty amazing. Students were walking passed in uniform. The colors seemed to be gold for the girls and gray for the boys. 

I'm so excited right now, While I was looking out the window, looking at pretty much everything that moves. Jim was getting my stuff from the trunk. I would of help but I was into much of a trance to help. I saw one kid fly and land on the left side of the yard, with a black suitcase and white backpack. A squirrel was on his shoulder. That must be his Partner. 

So very cool, I can't wait to see who my partner is. I wonder what kind of animal he or she will be. I think a dog would be awesome, or maybe a cat. Like what witches back in the day used to have all the time. I never really understood the whole cat thing, but whatever floats their boats.

Jim came around to my side of the car to open the door for me. "Thank you," I said while setting out of the car. It finally hit me that this was the place where I'd be staying for 3 years. I couldn't wait to see my dorm and meet my dormmates. I wonder what the food is like? I hope I make friends. I hope my teachers sort of kind of like me. 

"Your welcome," Jim says while smiling at me. He closes the car door, and I reach down to get my luggage, but he stops me. "Hazel, why don't I give you a quick and easy magic lesson."  I tilt my head at him. 

He starts to point at my luggage and says "Go to room 523 when you get more experienced you should be able to tell things where to go, this is great when you want to get out of chores." He said winking to me as my luggage went to my dorm I'm guessing. 

"How was that a spell?' I asked he didn't say anything that sounded the way a spell should. It didn't even sound like a charm. He just kind of spoke to it, and it moved. 

"Words hold power." He said with a smile. "Now come on let's go get your class schedule, and then get some food in you. That was a long flight and car ride." Jim spoke the magic word. 'Food' I didn't really realize it until he said it but I was so hungry. We started walking toward the school doors, went through this magical gate of some sort. I took a deep breath and started sneezing. 

I knew I was forgetting something.

Hazel Sparks Smith is a witch, kind of.
Well one is training. She can sneeze out supernatural Creatures. However, she isn't very good at remembering spells or even casting them. She can't fly a broom stick, doesn't even have her magical partner yet.
 
Fliss Academy a school for the supernatural. Lucky for Hazel she get a full scholarship. Because of her crazy old grandmother, who just so happens to be one of the greatest witches to ever live.

Let's just hope Hazel can live up too the hype.

In the next morning, while everyone was tidying up the festival, Shiro was currently farming away at a level 60 dungeon together with Yin.
She was currently running away from a group of 15 monsters that all looked identical.
They were shrouded by a black cloth and had a pair of glowing red eyes. Two dangerous scythe like claws peeked out from under the cloth and tried to cut Shiro up the moment they were close enough.
Stomping her foot down, Shiro jumped upwards whilst simultaneously freezing everything around her.
Frozen Hell: Frozen Slumber!
Chains erupted out from the ground and held the monsters in place while Shiro stood on one of her swords to keep herself afloat. While she did have the option of using her float skill, it was just unnecessary use of mana since her swords were already floating.
Clicking both her fingers, a three fold magic circle erupted underneath the monsters.
Grinning coldly, Shiro flicked her finger upwards as a giant ice dragon clawed out of the magic circle and swallowed the monsters.
However, they weren't dead yet since the level disparity meant her skills weren't doing as much damage as they should. Even if it was a newly developed Tier 3 destruction magic.
Crouching down on her sword, Shiro put force into her legs and shot towards the ice dragon that had yet to be thawed.
Reorientation herself in mid air, Shiro aimed her palm at the dragon and melted all of the ice, leaving the 15 monsters floating in the air.
*BANG!
Kicking the monster that was closest to her, Shiro sent him colliding against the other monsters and bundled them up together.
Twisting her body, she flexed her fingers and created a shotgun.
Fire Burst Bullet!
*BANG!
The recoil caused her to flip backwards, but she landed easily and quickly looked up to check the damage.
While she did manage to kill the first monster, the damage was dampened exponentially since he tanked most of the pellets.
Yin Style Asura's Path: Phantom Path!
Flicking her gun upwards, Shiro twisted her body and kicked the gun towards the group of monsters.
*Kacha!
The gun shifted itself into a sword and cut apart any monster that was too slow in dodging.
"Che, missed four." Shiro clicked her tongue.
"YIN!" She shouted out since this was a perfect chance for Yin to get some EXP.
Unfortunately, before Yin could hit them, a blue barrier erected around the four and connected them to each other.
Shiro frowned since they were just a little late.
*KSH KSH KSH!
Magic circles started to appear everywhere around them but Shiro didn't get anxious.
While it was indeed true that a single one of these spells were highly dangerous, she had her own counter as well.
Flicking her wrists, two hand cannons appeared in her hands as she loaded then with neon blue bullets.
Naturally, these bullets were the mana disruption bullets she had used against her shadow. A single shot of this bullet would render a magic circle useless as long as she got to it quick enough.
*BANG BANG BANG BANG!!!
Shooting her guns none stop, Shiro was able to cancel out all of the magic circles as the barrier around the monsters weakened.
*Chirp!
Seeing a chance appear, Yin flashed towards the monsters and flexed her wings. Her feathers glowed with a purple light as she spun her body and sent them slashing towards them.
The first set of energy blades left glowing spots of light that confused the monsters since they didn't do any damage.
However, the moment the second set of blades hit their body at the glowing red spots, they widened their eyes in shock and pain since they could feel their bodies being sliced apart.
'An amplifying skill?!' Shiro thought with interest.
An amplifying skill is where it would buff the damage any subsequent skill did. A great skill in raid fights since it allows the rest of the team to increase their damage.
'Seems like Yin's getting more skills as she gets closer to level 50.' Shiro smiled.
Since Yin was able to get the last hits in, she managed to get a pretty substantial amount of EXP which increased her level from 44 to 45.
"Ohya? A new skill." Shiro muttered in excitement since she still remembers how amazing the rift walker skill was.
[Dark Seraphim - Finisher]
When used, an area of dark mist would surround the user and hide them from sight. While inside the mist, you will gain increased attack, attack speed but decrease defence significantly. When damage taken inside the mist exceeds a certain amount, you will be ejected straight away.
+60% Attack
+35% Attack Speed
-95% Defence
Duration: 5 seconds
Attack Limit: 2 (Tier 2)
Mist Size: Dependant on the amount of mana used
Cool Down: 5 minutes
Requirements: Can only be used when target is below 10% health
"Hou~ A finisher huh. Not bad at all…" Shiro nodded her head seeing the skill.
A skill like this helps killing strong enemies such as mini bosses but the fact that it has a -95% defence wasn't desirable. However, for people who were already glass cannons, it didn't pose a problem.
While she was checking her new skills, Shiro decided to look at her newly made skill.
[Frozen Hell: Ice Drake's Feast]
Summons a replica of an ice drake that will feast on those inside the designated area. Damage increases depending on how many enemies are inside the area.
Cost: 50,000 Mana
Duration: N/A
Cool Down: 3 minutes
While she was checking her skills, Yin had already harvested all the C ranked mana stones and looked at them with the desire to just eat them all.
"You can have 1 since you did a good job." Shiro decided to reward Yin since she did a good job at timing her attacks.
*Chirp!
Crying out in joy, Yin scoffed one of the mana stones down and experienced another level up. Thus increasing her level from 45 to 46.
"Hais, I wish I could have the same resilience as you. If I ate that, this princess would probably blow up." Shiro smiled with slight jealousy. Being able to level up from a single meal seemed like a dream for her since she doesn't have the resilience to be able to withstand the effects.
However, at the same time, it was very wasteful since Yin wasn't able to absorb everything.
*Chirp~
Yin only lazily replied as she laid herself on Shiro's shoulder.
Smiling wearily Shiro continued to grind for some levels.

"In the end, Yin took most the EXP." Shiro said as she rested her head on the desk.
While they were grinding, Yin was sneaking her final hits in and taking most of the EXP.
Shiro did tell Yin to stop however, she just grinned and continued.
"Ah that's quite unfortunate." Lyrica said as she glanced at Yin who was pecking on a mana stone happily.
"If it wasn't for the fact that we're heading back now, I wouldn't have ended the grind so quickly." Shiro stretched and looked around her.
Everyone was packing away and getting ready to head onto the train.
"Well we can't just keep staying in the slum area now could we? Plus, they need to rebuild." Madison said whilst eating a cupcake that they had distributed.
"True, it's kind of a shame that I didn't get to try the raid out though." Shiro shrugged.
"You can always come back, can't you?"
"Also true, but why would I want to come back and do a raid I would have already out levelled?" Shiro shrugged since it would just be a walk in the park at that point. Plus, they were going to their faction anyways.
After chatting for a little longer, the train arrived.
Since there would be less chances of them meeting each other anytime soon, Kanae made sure that she spent more time with Shiro on the train.
While this was happening, Shiro took the chance to give Kanae the katana. She had edited it during her free time and now it was a level 5 growth weapon that could reach a max of level 50. The stats were heavily reduced but the effects stayed the same. Plus, she was able to add on some abilities from her stock of skills she received from recycling weapons.

And of course, Shiro didn't forget about safety measures that made sure no one else could access her weapon.
'Since I've hidden the auto disguise skill chip in the weapon, Kanae will find out the skills one by one.' Shiro thought to herself since what Kanae sees right now as only a green variant of the weapon with 1 passive skill.
As she levels it up the other passive skills and active skills would slowly appear.
Naturally, when Kanae received the weapon, her eyes gleamed with joy and vowed to treasure it in her heart.

Arriving in New York once again, Shiro wasn't too shocked at the damage but everyone else couldn't help but drop their jaw in disbelief.
There was not a single intact building left in New York which made it look like a post apocalyptic city. Craters were spread out all over the city as some were bigger than others.
A single giant crater many times the size of the others could be seen all the way from where they were as Shiro could only guess that it was where the boss had died.
'It's been a while since I last saw something like this.' Shiro mused to herself since a fight between high levels generated roughly the same amount of damage.
However, if it was a battle between two peak Tier 4's or higher, they should forget the notion of having a city anymore.
"I don't even know where to start with this." Lyrica sighed.
"Why don't we get our stuff first. If you have anything left over from before evacuating, you should get that first. In the meantime, I'll go contact winter's grace." Shiro said.
"I still have some things left over at my old place so I'll head back for now. I'll text you girls when I've got everything." Silvia smiled.
Seeing Silvia off, they made sure to say goodbye to Kanae and her mum before they also made their way back to their old dorm.
"So this is where the young miss and princess lived before." He commented whilst looking around the city.
"It is and isn't at the same time. Same place but obviously as you can see, it's destroyed." Lyrica replied with a shrug.
"Such a shame though. There were quite a few decent snack places near our dorm." Madison added on.
While they were talking about the things that were near their dorm, Shiro was keeping an eye out just in case.
Once they reached the school, they could see some students returning.
"Wasn't he the one that pulled out the foldable bed?" Lyrica asked, pointing at a student.
"Now that you mention it, he is indeed the one that had the bed." Shiro replied after matching his face with her memories.
As more students came back, more and more realised who they were.
"Isn't that Shiro! How is she level 47!? And look! Lyrica and Madison are also high level!"
Similar whispers could be heard as they were shocked at their improvement. While they did manage to increase their levels, most of them only hovered around level 20 to 30.
Only a selected few were able to get 30+.
"Seems like you thee had quite the reputation. Especially considering the fact that one had even brought a bed for you princess." Yuan Tian chuckled slightly.
"Just some teens being teens." Shiro shrugged.
"Aren't you a teen yourself? Ah speaking of which, we don't know your birthday do we? That means we don't know when you become 14." Madison replied.
"Don't worry about the date. We spend our time in the dungeons so the physical age is bound to be messed with. Just make it January the 1st or something." Shiro waved her hand dismissively.
"Well I suppose January the 1st does make it easier to remember."
They chatted for a little longer before arriving at the ruins that was once their old dorm.
"Welp, time to dig out our stuff girls." Shiro chuckled.
Thankfully for her, she didn't have much so she was able to store it all in her inventory. But the same couldn't be said for Lyrica and Madison.
"My dorms a little further away so I'll see you girls later." Madison said, making her way to her dorm.
"Yuan Tian, why don't you help me get my stuff." Lyrica asked.
"As you wish young miss."
"Since I don't have anything, I'll go look around for a bit. See you later." Shiro smiled before her body flickered away. She felt a lingering gaze on her and instantly knew who it was.


I'm captured? Fine, I can't help it since I can't move.

Experimented on? At least give me some anaesthetic.

I'm freed? Let me get some revenge.

Want to plead for your life? Sorry, this miss here holds a grudge.

I destroyed the lab so now let me explore this world freely.

I somehow joined Mr Hero's party. Fine, he seems fun.

"Aiya, how cruel. For the honour of being a hero you'd kill this missy huh?" She smiled whilst bleeding out.

"Che, you still have the mind to joke right now?" He said with a glare.

"What is life if not to enjoy every moment? Since I'm going to die and I can't avenge myself, I hope someone else does."

"No one will. You were the only one who was more powerful than I with your Nanomancy. Now with you out of th-"

"Hush child. I'm trying to die in peace here."

"But I'm ol-!"

"Ap! Good children don't disturb their elders."

"But yo-!"

"Bye~" She grinned before losing strength.

Release schedule 2 chap per day

After more than 30 hours of continuously working in a highly focused state, Lu Zhou was pushed to the limit. 
When he went back to his temporary dorm, as usual, he did not change his clothes. The moment his head hit the pillow, he began to dream. 
The sun was already up and about when he opened his eyes again. 
Lu Zhou took out his phone and looked at the time. It was half past five in the afternoon. 
"My sleeping schedule is reversed. It seems that I've got to try to fix it over the next two days."
Since no one even interrupted him, he did not realize that he slept for so long.. 
There were dozens of missed calls on his phone screen. They were from Chen Yushan, his teammates, Professor Liu, the counselor, and his roommates.
Lu Zhou opened his WeChat and messaged all of them to explain why he did not pick up. 
Once he finished sending the messages and put on his backpack, he was about to return the dorm key when his phone rang.
It was from Chen Yushan. 
When he picked up the call, a sweet voice came through, "Lu Zhou! What do you feel like?"
Lu Zhou, "I feel okay."
Chen Yushan immediately asked, "I heard the question was very difficult this year. Which question did you choose?"
Lu Zhou, "A, the one about the Chang'e 3."
Chen Yushan heard Lu Zhou's answer and opened her eyes in surprise as she asked, "You chose that one?! Did you understand the question?"
Lu Zhou thought for a bit and responded, "It's okay. Although the proposition of a space question is scary, it wasn't that difficult to convert it into a mathematical problem."
"So, you don't think that it's hard," sighed Chen Yushan. She said, "I have a roommate that also participated this year. She wanted to get the first prize and earn a chance to enter a master's programme. But as soon as she saw the question, she was dumbfounded."
The mathematical modeling competition can help toward entering a master's programme!
Lu Zhou was amazed.
No wonder Lin Yuxiang was desperate for us to carry her.
I see. This makes sense.
Lu Zhou asked, "Which question did she choose?"
Chen Yushan, "Question B, the folding table one."
How unfortunate.
Lu Zhou thought in his heart. 
At least seven teams in the computer room chose question B. He did not know about the other three. It was likely that Lu Zhou was the only team in the entire computer room that chose question A.
"Then how did she feel about the question?"
"Very difficult. It involved structural mechanics and ergonomics. In short, very troublesome and cumbersome. She was complaining about this stupid table," sighed Chen Yushan. She added, "The specialize group questions were normal. Design a pig farm and design a medicine storage cabinet. I won't talk for long, go and eat. You probably just woke up. I'll go and comfort my roommate."
"Ok, see you later."
Just as Lu Zhou hung up the call, he saw a message from Lin Yuxiang. It said that the md5 hash check and thesis upload was complete. She and Wang Xiaodong already went back to the school and that he should feel free to ask her for favors in the future. She also said she wanted to buy him food as a show of thanks. 
Lu Zhou thought and replied, [You are welcome]. 
The competition was already over. Even though she dragged the team down, she could still be counted as a "support" and so, she was kind of useful. 
There was no point complaining about her. 
The school bus already left and the next one would be coming tomorrow morning. 
The old campus dorms were pretty crappy. Lu Zhou did not shower or change for three days and he did not want to stay here for another second. 
He put on his backpack and walked to the school gate where he ate some noodles outside the gate before taking the train back to the new campus.

"One two one, one two one…"
"Move your arms! Move your legs! Move, move, move!"
Shouting sounds came from the track field where a group of first-year students was being trained by instructors. 
Lu Zhou saw the crowd of energetic young people and sighed. He missed being young. He then walked toward the dorms. 
When he went back to his dorm and opened the door, the three animals surrounded him. 
"Zhou, how was it?"
"Are you confident that you did well? Liu Rui said he screwed up again."
"I really screwed up," said Liu Rui. He smiled, "Why don't you guys believe me? I saw the two questions and was stunned, I thought the second one looked slightly easier. My programming and modeling teammates had to carry me. I'll be happy with a provincial award."
Impatient, Shi Shang interrupted the guy, "Okay, okay, cool. If you didn't screw up, I wouldn't respect you. Move aside, I'm talking to Zhou." 
Huang Guangming came over and asked, "Zhou, how did you do? Is question A hard?"
Lu Zhou casually said, "It's okay… Liu Rui, how about you?"
"Way too hard… A lot of the problems can't be solved with mathematics," said Liu Rui as he shook his head. 
That was inevitable. 
Whether it was mathematics or programming, they were only tools to solve problems. The core idea of the mathematical modeling competition was to reward those who were good at using mathematics to solve practical problems. 
That was why the national prize is valuable. 
It was different than a mathematical exam. A mathematical model did not have much content to talk about. 
Lu Zhou's two roommates had plans to enter the competition next year and so, they bombarded him with many questions. When he was finally able to get rid of the animals, he climbed up the ladder and opened his laptop in bed.
He was AFK for so long. If the progress bar did not move at all, he would be pissed. 
However, when Lu Zhou opened the laptop cover and looked, he was furious. 
F*ck you!
The progress bar had only moved a tiny tiny bit. 
F*cking machine! Waste of electricity!
Lu Zhou was angry. He immediately closed his laptop, grabbed two programming textbooks, and went to the library.

After the mathematical modeling competition ended, Lu Zhou finally had some free time to relax. 
He had two textbooks on him every day - [Data structure] and [Artificial intelligence programming paradigm]. He would pay attention to maths and physics classes and would do his own stuff during other classes. 
That was the advantage of the university. He was the master of his own time. 
Other than those deans or old professors, most professors only cared about lecturing. At most, they would do a name check of the people in the class but they would not care about what the students were doing in the class as long as they did not interrupt the lectures. 
Lu Zhou would either be in class, studying in the library, or in his dorm playing with artificial intelligence Xiao Ai. By sheer accident, Lu Zhou discovered that talking with Xiao Ai improved the progress bar and it was much more efficient than being away from the computer.
Therefore, Lu Zhou wrote a small program in Python. He connected the interface between Xiao Ai and QQ. He then registered a QQ number in Xiao Ai's name and named it "Eye". 
This way, he could use his phone to send messages to Xiao Ai. The Python program read his message and entered it into Xiao Ai's dialog box. 
This was equivalent to using a third-party chat tool to indirectly interact with Xiao Ai. Xiao Ai had absolute control of the mobile workstation and he could even remotely control his laptop. 
He could ask Xiao Ai to execute a program and Xiao Ai would do it. 
For example, if he told Xiao Ai to shut down, Xiao Ai would turn off his laptop.
Lu Zhou felt that was pretty cool. 
Of course, for security reasons, he added a security lock to the Python program. Only the QQ messages sent by him would be read by Xiao Ai. 
Therefore, if someone found Xiao Ai's QQ account, they still could not do any damage. 
After all, Xiao Ai could only identify Lu Zhuo's account.

  Jackson sighs and says "What's up, Emily?".
  Emily responds by nervously waving a hand in the air while wearing a fake smile. "Uh... hey?" Emily says. 
  "Somehow, that's exactly the response I expected" Jackson says. 
  "Look, Jackson" Emily says, "it's not that I hate you or anything... but I also don't recall us particularly getting along super well. Like, we haven't really spoken all that much to each other".
  "Oh thank god" Jackson says. "The feeling is mutual". Jackson then looks at Emma and asks "Can I go now?".
  "No" Emma says, "try actually getting along with people...".
  Jackson groans and then says "Fine! I don't even know what to talk about here".
  "Sucks that you and Aeris... broke up" Emily says, trying to find something to talk about. There was a long awkward silence, then Emily says "This is awkward".
  "Yeah, I'm waiting outside of the store now..." Jackson says as he points his thumb at the door. 
  "... Anyways" Wyatt says, "any job opening for here, Matilda?".
  "Oh, yes" Matilda says. "We'll have to schedule a time for you to talk to Dylan about the job, that way he can interview you and stuff. If he decides you can take the job, you can work as my assistant".
  "Hopefully it works out then" Emma says. 
  "It'll be cool and all having a familiar face to work with" Emily says, "but I also imagine it'll start being a little awkward staying here".
  "Why's that?" Emma asks. 
  "I dunno" Emily says. "I don't really think I'd have much to talk about. So if you do get the job here, don't be surprised if it's constantly quiet".
  "Anyways" Matilda says, "Dylan should be here tomorrow morning before noon. If you want to stop by to talk with him then, you're free to come".
  "Tomorrow morning, got it!" Wyatt says. 
  As the two of them leave, Emma waves at Matilda and Emily. "Thanks again, Matilda!" Emma says. "And see you later, Emily!".
  "Yeah" Emily says, "take care".
  "I'm glad to see you two are getting along" Matilda says to Emily. 

  "Can we go back finally?" Jackson asks as the two of them leave the store.
  "Yes, we can go back" Wyatt says. 
  "Good" Jackson replies. "It's cold out here".
  "You could've stayed inside, you know?" Emma asks.
  "Yeah, but that involves talking to people" Jackson says. After the three of them get back to the dorm, Jackson asks "So, how do you plan on keeping Emma hidden in the dorm for so long?".
  Wyatt shrugs and says "It's been working so far".
  "Well..." Jackson says, "I know she doesn't have a place to return to, so make sure you don't let anybody else know that we're keeping Emma here. If the school finds out, they'll probably be furious". Immediately after that, a loud knock is heard on the door of the dorm. "Do... you usually get visitors?" Jackson asks. 
  "N-no... not really" Wyatt says. Wyatt stands up to answer the door, but the door suddenly swings open. 
  "Wyatt!" Darren says as he opens the door. Darren then notices Jackson and Wyatt sitting in a room with Emma. "Oh, I'm sorry..." Darren says as he awkwardly closes the door. 
  "No, wait!" Wyatt says, "it's not what you think! I can explain!".
  "Yes, please do explain" Jackson says. "Knowing you, it won't be a very good explanation".
  Darren opens the door again, then walks inside the room. "What's going on?".
  "Well..." Wyatt says, "Emma doesn't have a place to stay, so I'm keeping her here".
  "Uh-huh..." Darren says. "You know this is the boy's dorm, right?".
  "Y-Yeah" Wyatt says. 
  "So... is she your girlfriend?" Darren asks. 
  "Y-Yeah..." Wyatt says. 
  "And there it is" Jackson says, "the perfect explanation for a misunderstanding!".
  "So that's why you're keeping her here!" Darren says. 
  "Wait, no! I-" Wyatt says. 
  "Look, I get it" Darren says. "I won't tell a soul".
  "I don't think you are getting it..." Wyatt says in frustration. "So how'd you know which dorm is mine?".
  "Oh, that's easy!" Darren says. "I knocked on every door and bursted into everyone's room shouting your name like an idiot!".
  "... Really?" Wyatt asks. 
  "No..." Darren says. "I asked Ms. Weber to look up your name of the dorm list... did you honestly think I'd do that?".
  "Pfft- I like this guy!" Jackson says. 
  "Ayyy!" Darren says as he makes a finger gun gesture at Jackson. "So, you are?".
  "Jackson Lonny" Jackson says. "I'm in the same class as Wyatt... and in the club too, I guess".
  "Oh yeah, aren't you that laibah kid everyone was talking about?" Darren asks. 
  "Yep" Jackson says. 
  "Oh... so how many of us here are laibah?" Darren asks. 
  "In this room?" Wyatt asks. "I'm the only human here at the moment...".
  "Oh, so you're a laibah too?" Darren asks as he looks at Emma. 
  "Y-Yeah..." Emma says. "I believe I already introduced myself to you before. I'm Emma Frey".
  "Darren Forray" Darren says as he forces Emma to shake his hand.
  "What'd you wanna come here to talk about?" Wyatt asks. 
  "Right" Darren says, "so around this time, people in high school and stuff usually come to colleges like these to see what their possible future college looks like. Earlier today, I ran into a certain someone who also wanted to see you".
  "Me?" Wyatt asks.
  "I told him to wait by the gate and I'll bring you to him" Darren says, "but seeing as to how it'll be dangerous to keep going in and out with your girlfriend over there, I'll try bringing him to you".
  "Wait, who is it?" Wyatt asks. However, Darren leaves without answering. After a long silence, Darren comes back with a rather big surprise. "K-Kemal!?" Wyatt asks. "What are you doing here!?".
  "Kemal?" Jackson asks. 
  "So this is your brother?" Emma asks. 
  "Brother!?" Jackson asks. "Holy hopping hell, there's two of them!?".
  "What's up, Wyatt?" Kemal asks. 
  "H-how'd you get down here?" Wyatt asks. "Is mom okay? What are you doing all the way out here?".
  "Whoa, slow down there" Kemal says. "Let's see if I can answer these questions first. Umm... I took the city bus, mom is fine, and I'm here to check out what kinda school you go to".
  "So mom and dad are doing fine then?" Wyatt asks. 
  "Well, dad is still a grumpy old man, but yeah" Kemal says. "In fact, they're both better than fine now. Dad got a promotion, mom got a raise and we're financially stable for the first time ever. In fact, they're doing so well that I'm finally able to leave my job and come to school".
  "W-What?" Wyatt asks. 
  "I'll be coming here next year" Kemal says. "I've gotta look out for my little brother, don't I?".
  "But you'll be a year lower than him..." Jackson says. "It'll be more like he's watching out for you".
  "Same difference" Kemal says. 
  "N-no... no it is not..." Jackson says. 
  Darren laughs and says "See? Isn't this nice? We've already got a group of friends ready for ya when you start coming to school, Kemal!".
  Kemal laughs and says "Yeah, I like the sassy one!".
  "Sassy?" Jackson asks. "SASSY!?".
  "This situation seems kind of awkward..." Emma says. 
  Kemal leans in close to Darren and asks "Who's the girl?".
  "That's Wyatt's girlfriend" Darren says with a snicker. 
  "What!?" Kemal panics. 
  "Uh..." Wyatt tries to think of something to say. 
  "She's a laibah too" Darren says. 
  "Uh..." Emma says, now feeling uncomfortable.
  "No way!" Kemal says. "So you're going to be my future sister in law!?". Kemal starts furiously shaking Emma's hand saying "I'm Kemal Bogan! Nice to meet you!".
  As Kemal wildly shakes Emma's hand, her arm seems to go limp as she nervously laughs. "I-I'm Emma Frey~" Emma says nervously. 
  "This. Is. Hilarious" Jackson says. 
  "Can you stop?" Wyatt asks. "You're making her nervous!".
  "Oh!" Kemal says as he comes to a sudden stop. "Sorry...".
  "I-it's f-fine..." Emma says. Emma then thinks about the words Kemal said, "Future sister in law" and laughs nervously again. 
  "This room is kinda cramped, ain't it?" Kemal asks.
  "Gee, I wonder why" Jackson says. "Couldn't be the fact that it was designed to only hold two people at a time, yet here we are with five people...".
  "Is there anyone else I should meet?" Kemal asks. 
  "Oh yeah!" Darren says. "Wyatt actually has a bunch of friends now!".
  "Really?" Kemal asks. 
  "I know, it's surprising isn't it?" Darren asks. "He was always so quiet and awkward when we were all just little kids!".
  "Can I meet them, Wyatt?" Kemal asks. 
  "No!" Wyatt says. "Please, no! You're already making things awkward enough! Just... slow down for a minute, will ya?".
  "Aw, are you embarrassed of your big brother?" Kemal asks. 
  "That's... one way to put it, yes" Wyatt says. 
  Emma starts giggling and Jackson says "I can't believe there's someone weirder than Wyatt... yet, here you are!".
  "Can we keep it down?" Wyatt asks. "We don't need someone calling any of the staff to our room and getting into trouble".
  "Yeah, especially since you're keeping a girl here" Darren says. 
  Kemal whistles and says "Didn't think you'd turn out to be such a rebel".
  "Rebel?" Wyatt asks. "I-I think you're getting the wrong idea, because-".
  "Hey, it's of no consequence to me" Kemal says. "You do you".
  "You do you... now that's a quote" Jackson says. 
  Wyatt take a sigh of relief and says "It's good to hear that mom and dad are doing fine though. At least I don't have to worry about trying to support them after college now".
  "Yeah" Kemal says. "Probably the most freedom we've ever had in our lives, to be honest".
  "Maybe I can actually look for other career opportunities now..." Wyatt says. 
  "You mean... like Matilda's suggestion of being a teacher?" Emma asks. 
  "Yeah" Wyatt says, "maybe I should look into that after all. I was worried about getting into a job that was too far from home, because I was sure mom and dad would need my help by the time I graduated".
  "Yeah" Kemal says, "but now that they're finally getting the support they need from their own jobs, we probably don't have to do that after all. In fact, mom is the one who paid for me to come see you. Which reminds me, she also wanted to me pass on a message to you".
  "A message?" Wyatt asks. 
  "She says good luck" Kemal says, "and that she wants you to stay and school and not worry about her or dad".
  "Can you pass on a message from me when you get back?" Wyatt asks. 
  "Like what?" Kemal asks. 
  "Tell then I said thanks" Wyatt says. 
  "Screw that sappy stuff!" Kemal says, "I'm telling them about your girlfriend! Bwa-ha ha ha ha!".
  "Wait!" Wyatt says, "please don't! Dad will-".
  "Dad won't do anything" Kemal says. "He may have his dumb irrational fears, but you know mom and dad worry most about us. If it's someone you can trust, I'm sure dad'll put his stupid fear aside".
  "Fear?" Emma asks.
  "Our dad doesn't exactly like laibah" Kemal says. "But I'm sure he'll make an exception for you. After all, Wyatt's never had a girlfriend before!". 
  Kemal starts laughing loudly and Wyatt says "Can you please stop making everything more awkward!?".
  "But seriously" Kemal says to Emma, "don't worry about what that old man would think. I won't tell him about you".
  "Thanks" Wyatt says. 
  "I'll make Wyatt do that himself!" Kemal says. 
  "You-" Wyatt says. 
  "But" Kemal interrupts, "I'm sure the old man would be fine with you. He'll put aside his prejudice since you're someone Wyatt is close to".
  "And if he doesn't?" Jackson asks. 
  "He'll have to" Kemal says. "Otherwise, our mother will beat him into submission until he does".
  "W-What is your mom like!?" Emma asks. 
  "She's pretty soft hearted, really" Kemal says.
  "D-does she hate laibah?" Emma asks. 
  "No" Kemal says. "You'd probably enjoy meeting her, actually".
  "M-meeting them!?" Emma asks. 
  "Uh-oh, you're making her nervous again" Darren says. 
  "I wish I had a video camera" Jackson says. "This is the funniest thing I've seen all week".
  "Can we maybe stop?" Wyatt asks. "Let's not worry about anyone meeting anybody's parents!".
  "I-I... don't think I'd mind meeting your parents some day" Emma says nervously. 
  "See?" Kemal says, "she's fine with it!".
  "You're an enabler, aren't you?" Jackson asks. 
  "So... what makes you think dad would change his mind for Emma?" Wyatt asks. 
  "Oh... right" Kemal says. "I never told dad about Darren being a laibah, but I did tell mom a long time ago. Turns out she told dad almost immediately and he's known about it all along. However, dad never really got angry. He did tell me that involving myself with too many laibah would drag me into trouble like it did with Darren, but all that trouble wasn't Darren's fault. He knows we get along with laibah well, and he doesn't hate it. He's just constantly worried that we're getting into fights".
  "And if he knew Wyatt was dating one?" Jackson asks. 
  "Yeah..." Kemal says, "I always thought he'd get so mad about us being friends with laibah, that he'd probably pop a vein. However, he's surprisingly okay with it. I'm sure as long as Wyatt stays out of trouble, he won't have any problems with accepting Emma".
  "See?" Darren says, "you're practically all set up then! There won't be any issues if you two get married!".
  "M-m-married!?" Emma panics. 
  "Pfft- HA HA HA HA HA!" Jackson laughs out loud. "Man, this is really helping me cheer up!".
  "Are you scared of marriage?" Kemal teases Emma. 
  "N-no! I-" Emma says. "I can... I mean- I'm fine if- ah, uh...".
  "I think you broke her..." Jackson says. 
  "Whoops..." Kemal says. "Were we not supposed to talk about that yet?".
  Wyatt sighs and says "You've pretty much already talked about everything I'd rather not bring up all at the same time...".
  "Well, better out than in, I always say" Kemal says. 
  "Pfft- HA HA HA HA HA!!" Jackson laughs even harder. "BETTER OUT THAN IN! ISN'T THAT SUPPOSED TO BE AN EXCUSE FOR A FART!?".
  "Is it?" Kemal asks. "I mean, honesty is important".
  "It's official" Jackson says as he slowly stops laughing, "you're idiots".
  Now Kemal makes a finger gun gesture at Jackson and says "That's pretty mean".
  "I like you guys" Jackson says. "You say some silly stuff, AND you embarrass both Emma and Wyatt. This is quite the show!".
  "Aw, that's nice" Darren says. "We get his approval!".
  "Doesn't seem like much of an approval" Kemal says, "but I'll take what I can get".
  "You guys are an absolute riot..." Jackson says.

  In a world shared between humans and laibah, there's a lot of turmoil between the two. Cat gotten in a sadder mood of what happened and decided to tell her father what happened when they got home. She didn't listen to what her father and he dude had to say.
          William CEO of the company had some business he needed to attend to and asked his secretary to attend the business with the car issue. Cat soon got ready to get back home and on her way back home she asked her father if she can move out of her house and live in the dormitory. Cat explained the reason to her father, how Alexa stole her boyfriend and couldn't see them together. Her father agreed and makes sure that she know that he loves her and she deserves better than what her boyfriend, now ex, did to her. Cat hugged her father and told him she love him too. The rest of the ride home was quiet. Since it was still afternoon, Cat have decided to get the paper works to live in the dorm and packed her stuff at her house. She waited till the next day and got informed that her request have been approved and now Cat can finally live without her step sister and step mom. Cat said goodbye to her father and sat in the car while the driver drove her to her school campus grounds. 
           Cat thanked her driver to drop her there and left with her luggage. She was told by the school that she will be having two roommates. She asked the lady at the dorm where her room was and overheard by a girl walking past. 
The girl walking pass, Sally "Oh my god, are u also in room 301?" 
Cat asked her "Yes and may I ask that if you know where that is?" 
Sally knew where that was "Ya, of course that's where I live and are you my new roommate?"
Cat finally relieved that someone knew what it was "Yes, I got put in room 301b and do u know how the rooms work" 
   (By now they have totally ignored the lady Cat was tryin to ask help from)
Sally said "Of course I do, so the room area is split into three equal sections or you can call it rooms, and theres also a kitchen/eating area and and a couch place for us to relax. And by the way did I mention Rose, she is our other roommate, recently got a tv in the couch area and she will be willing to share it with us." 
Cat said  "Omg that's so cool if it's okay for you can you bring me to our room(s)"
Sally was happy she was able to help someone "Yea totally I was gonna go there anyways so why not"
Cat felt grateful and thanked her "Oki thanks a lot, by the way how rude of me I forgot to introduce me. My name is Catherine and u can call me Cat for short and what is your name miss?"
Sally said "My name is Sally (obviously) and nice to meet you" 
Cat nervously said "Nice to meet you too Sally and can we go now I'm kinda a little hungry and I don't wanna hurt my tummy's feelings"
Sally laughed "Haha of course your so humorous by the way" 
            They ended the conversation and Sally lead Cat to their rooms. It was bigger then expected and cat looked around. 
Cat, "So this is where it is"
Sally, "Yea do u like it?"
Cat, "Yes I absolutely adore the cute decorations" 
              The door was opened again and Rose walked in. 
Rose whispers to Sally, "who is this" 
Sally, "Oh this is Cat and she is our new roommate she just got here today" 
Cat, "Hi I'm Cat and I heard your name was Rose. Nice to meet u." 
Rose, "Nice to meet you too, Cat" 
Sally, "Anyways since it's Cat's first day here let's talk about our self and relax in the comfortable couch" 
              They sat down and had a conversation. While they talked Cat had a cup of Ramon noodles that she made from the kitchen area. That was what all they had.
Sally said "I'll start with myself. My name is Sally Brown everyone call me 'brownie' haha yummy. I'm 20 years old and is in this college for 3 years now and I majoring in the scientist field."
Rose added "Ok, now I'll introduce myself, my name is Rose Jones and people tend to call me rosy. I'm in the technology field and know my way around computer and is also good at hacking computer systems' database. Is currently 21 and been in this college for three years I probably skipped two grades so yeah" 
Cat continued "Okie now it's my turn *took another sip of the Ramon noodle soup*. First of all nice to meet both of you. My name is Cat and is will be turning 18 in December. I'm in the business and financial field. I'm in this college for two years now. My father excepted a lot from me so he hired tutors when I was three and was homeschooled until college with is two years ago that I went to a real 'school'. Anyways it's getting late now do you guys mind if I get going on unpacking my stuff" 
Sally said "Yea sure sorry for holding you so long"
Rose included "Ya go ahead"
Cat left "Oki thanks talk to ya soon"
                Cat went in her room and unpacked her stuff. She took a shower after the long day and decided to call it a day until she realized when the CEO of that whatever so company, William left her a business card with his info on it and told her if she ever needed help she can go find him, it just like William (Will for short) owed him a favor. Cat didn't think to much of it at that time. She still had work the next day so she need to sleep early. Cat's schedule was always so regular like she was never late and never missed a day or school or work, even when she was sick so told herself she can do it and won't let sickness become an excuse for her laziness. She fell asleep on her laptop after a while of  reviewing her classwork and homework from last week.

Catherine is just a normal collage girl who works part time at a coffee shop. Things all changed for her when she found out her boyfriend was cheating on her with her step sister, Alexa.
