I couldn't finish this novel, even with limited free access. The female lead is arguably the most clueless in Webnovel history (feel free to verify). The male lead is incredibly immature, acting like a child in a grown man's body. A particularly disturbing chapter stands out, where the nursing mother leaves her child to reunite with her ex-fiancé and baby daddy. She consumes alcohol to prove she's not lightheaded, and the male lead takes advantage of her in that state (dismissed as a one-night stand). The next morning, he asks, "So you have milk?" – a cringe-worthy and gross moment. The entire novel is riddled with uncomfortable lines, leaving me questioning the editorial process. It's surprising that this novel received a winning position in Cupid's Quill, making me wonder if the reviewer was, ironically, under the influence.

Damian is an *ss, that's all I gotta say. But overall, this is a good book! There were no grammatical errors or anything that could’ve ruin the reader’s enjoyment. Truly a marvelous book! Please keep up the good work!

Read up to Chapter 20 and about to give up. As another review has mentioned, the ML is well... chauvinistic. He (and his dad and kinda also his mom) has been gas lighting the FL as if she's the only one who has made a mistake. He and his dad pretty much think that infidelity is acceptable because ML is a man, but ML loses his mind thinking FL betrayed him with his friend. He has also not shown any changes from the main point of conflict with FL to two years after. FL so far has been interchangeably strong then weak/naive. Grammar is ok; you can still follow what's going on. I wonder if there will be improvement in the story and characters but I don't know if I can read until the end to find out.

Cheating before wedding is totally wrong .. .and the female lead is right in leaving him but she shouldn't have leave her parents also. .. she's shouldn't have hide from her parents. .. the male lead I don't know what to think of him to have him thinking that he didn't do anything wrong .. .. if he cheated before marriage how will it be after marriage .. .. so disappointing 😔
