Chapter 105: her plans

At 11:30, Karina relaxed on the balcony terrace while watching a drama on her laptop. The girl sat back in her chair, propping up her laptop with her legs crossed lazily.

"I think I should carry out that plan now before it's too late. I need to contact Damian... Make sure he doesn't come here this afternoon," she thought to herself, then grabbed her phone from the table and called Damian.

"Hey, Karina?" Damian greeted from the phone, his voice sounding relaxed yet with a hint of footsteps as if he was walking. "Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, everything's fine," Karina replied lazily. "I'm just too lazy to do anything... I easily get tired so I haven't even been to the kitchen to warm up the food I cooked this morning. But I'll ask Anna to warm it up if you want to have lunch here," she continued, then bit her lower lip, seeming nervous.
