"Can't you explain?" Adriana asked curtly.

"I am indeed at fault," Valerie murmured, her face turned away.

"In that case, don't make the mistake again by accepting Samuel. It's like you're truly challenging Damian and his family... You both have faults... You shouldn't keep hurting each other constantly," Adriana sighed. "I'm just thinking about Daniel. You can marry someone other than Damian or Samuel if you want to try your luck... But now is not the right time... focus on Daniel, don't rob him of his happiness... Let him play with Damian as much as he wants, learn without intending to take him away from you, right?"

"Father," Valerie said shortly, with concern.
