/ Anime & Comics / Dimensional Chat Group: Speed-o'-Light
Synopsis
Transmigrating as Kizaru, living in the world of One Piece for decades, he eventually rose to the rank of Admiral, his strength near invincible
Living with the philosophy of "I've been chasing pirates my whole life, can't I just enjoy myself for a bit?" Kizaru slacked off at work, skimped on missions, and bedded many girls
Just as Kizaru thought his life would continue peacefully like this, a dimensional chat group suddenly invited him to join!
Good news was, Kizaru seems to know all the members of the group
Another was; there was no group leader or admins—everyone in the group is truly equal
"Hmm, maybe it's time to rise again."

Pretty mid 1. Has harem and tag was not added 2. Some chapters were poorly designed like tony 3. There is really no story going on at all. 4. He is pretty much just chasing girls and thats about it
surprisingly decent. there are 1 or 2 chapters where the English was poorly written in some parts but overall its good. i also liked the dialogue between the chat members since it felt fun and didn't make me cringe like a majority of the other novels of this type do. I'm really glad this mc wasn't the cringy indifferent villain who either wants se xual favors or acts like a douche for no reason but to seem cool like a majority of this type portray. I'm really hoping he goes to each of their worlds in the future for longer periods and interacts more in person with the members. as for a negative, honestly it could have just been an oc/si story. being kizaru doesn't add anything to the story beyond not dying at the starter village as easily. but at least the mc worked for his experience and skills before getting the system/chat thing so i can respect that. so overall, i enjoyed reading up to ch40, just wish theychapters were longer since it took me only 2 hours to speed through this. or maybe i should learn to read slower.

Story is very good. But very slow release schedule for a translated story.(correct me if I’m wrong about the translation part) I would recommend waiting until it has at least 100 chapters. The chapters are also small. But it’s addicting and will hurt you at the end of each chapter.
The idea and story in the first chapters was nice but after chapter 50 it degraded greatly. As if continuation was written by some first grader.
Reveal SpoilerThe quality of the lead man leans more towards aggravation than satisfaction, as does all of the world building. The tone is poorly conveyed. I think it's meant to be humorous, but there isn't anything funny actually being said or described. In fact, the more build up there is to the punch line the more cringe the joke.
started out pretty good, but after chapter 50 ish, it feels like every chapter has been chopped up into 10 chapters, so nothing happens for long stretches. One chapter a day with maybe 500-1000words per chapter, where a "fight" can take up multiple chapters.
very funny and very entertaining, the only thing I could complain about is that the chapters are too short for my taste, I hope they can be longer and maybe have faster updates.

So far the story is pretty interesting. Having an MC who isn't that interested in conquering the world or something like that is a nice change of pace. The chat group not having an administrator and the MC not being the only transmigrator in the group is also an interesting departure from the normal chat group formula. I look forward to seeing where this story goes from here.
