Chapter 57: 57: S.H.I.E.L.D

As Tony had boasted, once he contacted Stark Industries, it didn't take long for the nearest U.S. military base to dispatch an armed helicopter to pick him up.

And considering Kizaru's height, they sent a large helicopter capable of transporting armored vehicles.

The base commander clearly wanted to curry favor with Tony, but Tony, eager to return home, directly ordered the pilot to take him to the airport so he could board his private jet back to the U.S.

"Finally, I'm leaving this godforsaken place! Hello, Pepper, it's Tony. Yes, I'm on my way back to New York. Don't worry, the only thing you need to do now is call the party company and tell them I need the most extravagant pool party ever! Just like we've done before!"

Tony couldn't wait to make his calls, starting with his ever-reliable assistant, Pepper Potts, followed by Stark Industries' top executives and those annoying folks at the Pentagon.

There was still much to do, such as dealing with the plummeting stock price of Stark Industries and the loss of many contracts caused by his disappearance.

The former wasn't a huge issue. Stark Industries was essentially a family business, and for a genius like Tony, fixing the stock price was as simple as releasing a few pieces of good news.

The real trouble was the lost contracts. While Tony had already decided, thanks to Yinsen's advice, to stop manufacturing weapons, many of the canceled orders were for legitimate industrial products.

Still, none of this could dampen Tony's spirits.

He even had time to brag to Kizaru about his escapades, claiming he could handle three women in one night. The veteran of Pleasure Districts, Kizaru, merely smiled without saying a word.

Even someone like Nami—who looked like a fragile porcelain doll in Kizaru's eyes—was far from the physical capabilities of ordinary people in the Marvel universe. If Tony, with his frail physique, ended up in the hands of those wild women, he probably wouldn't last two rounds.

What Kizaru didn't know was that while he was accompanying Tony back to the U.S., all information about him had already been delivered to a certain bald man with one eye.

Tony wasn't just the U.S. military's top weapons supplier; he was also the son of Howard Stark, one of the founders of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Anything unusual involving Tony was of interest to Nick Fury, the current director of S.H.I.E.L.D.

When Fury first heard about Tony's disappearance, he was already preparing to rescue him. However, before he could act, he received news that Tony had been saved—and by a mysterious three-meter-tall man.

Three meters tall?

The first thing Nick Fury thought of was either a cyborg or an alien. As S.H.I.E.L.D.'s director, he was no stranger to either.

But the appearance of an unknown cyborg or alien around Tony Stark was something worth serious attention.

What was his goal?

Tony Stark? Stark Industries? Or Howard Stark, the founder of S.H.I.E.L.D.?

"Notify Agent Romanoff to come over," Nick Fury instructed Phil Coulson after a moment of thought.

Even if it was just out of respect for S.H.I.E.L.D.'s founder, Fury needed to uncover the identity of the man accompanying Tony Stark.

Given Fury's understanding of Tony, the best candidate for this job was Agent Natasha Romanoff.

While Fury was preparing to dispatch someone to investigate Kizaru's background, Kizaru himself was at one of Stark Industries' villas, experiencing the pool party that Tony had so enthusiastically recommended.

"Ladies and gentlemen! Let's welcome my new friend, Kizaru!"

Wearing a Hawaiian shirt and swim trunks, Tony stood at the highest point of the pool and shouted to the crowd.

Surrounding the pool were countless glamorous poolside women and various celebrities and business moguls invited to the party.

As Tony's voice faded, Kizaru, also dressed in a Hawaiian shirt and swim trunks, stepped out of the villa. His towering three-meter height stunned everyone present.

Even the typically bold poolside women, who would normally swarm any guest of honor, hesitated—not because Kizaru wasn't attractive, but because his three-meter frame was intimidating in a world where most people didn't even reach two meters.

"Wow, he's so tall! Is it even possible for someone to grow that tall?"

"Hey, aren't you going to try your luck? He's Stark's new friend!"

"No way, he looks terrifying! You'd get skewered!"

...

Although the party's music didn't stop, Kizaru's appearance caused a momentary silence in the crowd, followed by hushed whispers.

"This man saved my life from those damned terrorists," Tony announced loudly, his tone playful yet sincere. "While the friendship between us is priceless, I can't let him leave without some kind of gesture... So here's a welcome gift for Kizaru, now that he's here in New York!"

As a seasoned party animal and a renowned playboy across New York and the entire United States, Tony was well-prepared for situations like this where the atmosphere grew a little cold.

With a clap of his hands, six servers rolled out a series of luggage racks covered by black cloth, bringing them to Kizaru and gesturing for him to unveil the "wrapping" of his gift himself.

Already guessing what it might be, Kizaru obligingly lifted the cloth, revealing stacks upon stacks of cash filling one of the luggage racks to the brim.

There were six luggage racks in total, each carrying over 100 kilograms of cash, adding up to a total of 1,050 kilograms.

One hundred million dollars!

The moment this mountain of cash appeared, everyone except Tony and Kizaru collectively held their breath.

Even wealthy businessmen with net worths over $100 million had rarely, if ever, seen this much cash in one place. The sight left the poolside women breathless, and even the celebrities invited to the party were no exception.

What's that?

You think a three-meter-tall giant looks intimidating?

Well, with $100 million on the table, the poolside women didn't care if he was three meters tall—or three meters long. They were fearless.

"Kizaru!"

The women swarmed around Kizaru at lightning speed, each one desperate to attach themselves to him.

"In addition, I'm personally offering 5% of Stark Industries' shares and officially hiring Kizaru as Stark Industries' security consultant!"

Seeing even the women who had been surrounding him begin to flock to Kizaru, Tony remained unbothered and casually dropped another bombshell announcement.

This declaration sent the entire party into a frenzy!

A 5% stake in Stark Industries was enough to make Kizaru the largest individual shareholder after Tony himself.

Chapter 58: 58: Natasha's Dilemma

Surrounded by a throng of poolside women, Kizaru handled the situation with effortless ease. While these women couldn't compare to Stussy, the Queen of Pleasure Districts, or even the top courtesans back in his world, they had their own unique charm—being bold, uninhibited, and numerous. Even Kizaru witnessed a few new tricks he had never encountered before.

Moreover, Kizaru was well-versed in social dynamics. Since it was Tony's money being spent, he splurged the $100 million without a shred of guilt.

The pool party continued for seven consecutive days. Women came and went in waves, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves—except for one person: Tony's long-suffering secretary, Pepper Potts.

"Tony! How much longer are you planning to mess around like this?"

Pepper barged in, dragging along her new assistant. It wasn't the pool parties that annoyed her; she had long since grown accustomed to Tony's playboy antics. But ignoring Stark Industries' mountain of work for an entire week? That was something she couldn't tolerate.

Tony wasn't just Stark Industries' CEO—he was also the brain behind its R&D. Without him, the company might not grind to a complete halt, but it would certainly feel the strain.

"Uh... oh, Pepper. What's up?"

Tony greeted her drunkenly, slurring his words. A pink lampshade, left behind by some poolside girl, sat perched atop his head.

Even the special arc reactor in his chest, which he initially took great care to keep hidden, was now fully exposed.

"There's a mountain of work at the office waiting for you!"

Pepper, visibly frustrated, helped the drunken Tony to his feet, ignoring the smell of alcohol clinging to him.

Meanwhile, her new assistant stole a glance toward the far side of the pool.

There stood the three-meter-tall "giant," Kizaru, handing out cash to a group of eager women. Seven days of partying had left even the seasoned Tony looking haggard, yet Kizaru still appeared full of energy.

"Don't rush, everyone gets a share… Oh, you're Lily, right? An old friend now. Not bad last night. I'll give you an 80."

Kizaru scribbled "80" on a slip of paper, handed it to the blonde, and casually gave her a playful pat.

The blonde, thrilled with her score, leaned in for a kiss before happily heading off to collect her $800,000 reward from one of the servers.

"Kizaru! Don't forget about me!"

A redhead nearby, clearly envious, clung to Kizaru's arm and playfully begged for attention.

"Marianne, was it? Your performance wasn't great last night. But since it's your first time, I'll give you a 75."

Kizaru scratched his chin, scribbled "75" on another slip, and handed it to her. Despite the lower score, Marianne seemed satisfied.

Watching this unfold, Natasha Romanoff couldn't help but smirk slightly. She felt confident that someone like Kizaru wouldn't be too hard to deal with.

Once Pepper managed to drag Tony off to clean up, Natasha adjusted her outfit slightly—lowering the neckline just enough—and let out a soft laugh as she approached Kizaru.

"Kizaru…"

Natasha decided to introduce herself under the guise of Pepper's new assistant. For now, her priority was to investigate Kizaru's background without blowing her cover. Stark Industries wasn't her only target; revealing S.H.I.E.L.D.'s involvement prematurely could complicate things.

"Hm? What's your name again? Ah, never mind, not important," Kizaru replied lazily, giving her a once-over. "I was about to leave, but I think you're worth staying for a few more hours. Come on, let's not waste time."

What Natasha didn't expect was that Kizaru didn't even bother to learn her identity before pulling her along after just one glance, leading her straight toward his room.

In her line of work, Natasha had encountered plenty of lecherous targets. But even someone like Tony Stark wasn't as blunt as Kizaru.

As a top-tier agent, Natasha kept her composure and didn't act rashly, avoiding exposing her true identity. Instead, she realized this could be a prime opportunity to dig deeper into Kizaru's background. So, she allowed herself to be led into his room.

"How about taking a shower first?"

Natasha bit her lip and gave him an unusually seductive smile. Normally, she wouldn't resort to such tactics so quickly. However, Kizaru seemed less complicated to deal with than she had initially thought. Even if things escalated, she was confident in her ability to extricate herself. This made it easier to play the part of a gold-digger cozying up to him.

"Hmm? Sure, why not? Like I said, you're worth it~," Kizaru chuckled, wrapping an arm around her waist as they entered the room, taking advantage of the situation as he spoke.

Once Kizaru disappeared into the bathroom, Natasha sat on the edge of the large bed with a sweet smile, watching him leave. But as soon as the door closed, her smile vanished, replaced with a cold determination.

She immediately began searching the room.

Kizaru had been staying in this luxurious suite for the past seven days. Anything he had brought with him would likely be stored here. If she wanted to uncover his identity, thoroughly searching the room was a solid plan.

Her first stop was the wardrobe. She ran her fingers over the navy uniform and admiral's coat hanging there. The material was unlike anything she'd ever encountered—extremely durable yet flexible.

The garments, which resembled military uniforms, had been clearly modified multiple times. Even Natasha, with her trained eye, could see the adjustments were designed to optimize combat functionality.

Quietly, she used her spy tools to record the details of the clothing before moving on.

However, Natasha quickly grew frustrated. Despite combing through the room, she found nothing that could offer a clue about Kizaru's origins.

Not even a stray hair.

Given what she knew about Kizaru so far, Natasha highly doubted that someone who had spent seven days cycling through over a hundred poolside women was obsessive enough to clean up every strand of hair.

It seemed far more likely that his body was unique. If he was a cyborg or an alien, this might explain why his hair—or any other biological material—was nowhere to be found.

Left with no better options, Natasha decided to collect some similarly colored hairs from the room and store them in a small vial. Then, she begrudgingly turned to the trash can, hoping to find… discarded "raincoats" as DNA samples.

"What the—?! This pervert doesn't even use protection?!"

After sifting through the trash and finding nothing but tissues, Natasha couldn't help but curse out loud. Extracting any trace of Kizaru's DNA was proving to be a near-impossible task.
