He would make Kizaru understand—
In the face of his unparalleled brute force, even a Navy Admiral was nothing but a weakling!
A mere stepping stone on his path to becoming the strongest!
"…How terrifying~…"
For the first time, Kizaru showed a hint of seriousness.
This level of aura…
Even among top-tier powerhouses, it was enough to be a genuine threat.
The true terrifying aspect of Conqueror's Haki wasn't just the passive suppression of the weak.
The real horror lay in its ability to boost a fighter's combat power—far beyond what was normally possible.
And the crucial factor that determined its strength?
It wasn't talent.
It wasn't training.
It was the wielder's belief in themselves.
The more absolute their self-confidence—the more of a megalomaniac they were—the stronger their Conqueror's Haki became.
And right now, Bullet fit all of those conditions.
His Conqueror's Haki had reached its peak, a level where even top fighters would instinctively avoid direct confrontation.
"Fusion: Iceberg Destruction Cannon!"
With a roar, Bullet shattered a massive iceberg beside him.
Chunks of frozen rock, each the size of a house, merged into his arm, forming a colossal gauntlet.
His Haki-infused fist pulsed with dark energy as he surged forward.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Each step shattered the ice beneath him.
Every time his foot hit the ground, the frozen floor cracked into thousands of web-like fractures.
"Hmm… Three-tenths power? No, better make it 40%… just to be safe."
Kizaru calmly lifted his leg.
"Divine Speed Kick."
The instant an unfathomably bright light erupted from Kizaru's leg—
Bullet's body froze.
His Observation Haki screamed danger.
An instinctive, primal fear surged through him.
If that kick landed—
He would die.
But his resolve did not waver.
Eyes wide with battle-mania, Bullet unleashed a thunderous roar, swinging his massive ice-arm with full force.
BOOOOOOOM!!!
A cataclysmic impact shook the entire prison.
The walls of Impel Down trembled violently.
If the structure weren't so heavily reinforced, the entire underground fortress might have collapsed from the sheer force of their clash.
Icebergs that had been frozen for centuries shattered like brittle glass.
In an instant—
A crater tens of meters deep and over fifty meters wide was blasted into the ground.
And at its very edge—
Bullet, his body torn and battered, lay embedded in the opposite wall of Level 5, completely motionless.
"Impressive… You're still alive after that?"
Kizaru mused, tilting his head.
In terms of sheer durability, Bullet might actually be one of the toughest opponents he had ever faced.
"…Hmm. No, wait."
After a moment of thought, he muttered,
"I should probably go and beat up Kaido again… Just to double-check."
Kizaru clicked his tongue in admiration.
Having an insane amount of Armament Haki really was useful.
Any normal fighter would've been completely obliterated by that last attack.
But Bullet?
He had managed to block it—simply by pouring out an absurd amount of Haki.
Still…
This was the limit.
Even for a "Demon's Heir," there was only so much punishment a body could take—
Or so Kizaru thought.
"I… HAVEN'T… LOST… YET!"
What happened next genuinely caught Kizaru off guard.
The man he assumed was finished—
The man who should've been incapable of standing—
Broke free from the wall and faced him once more.
"…Seriously? Do you really need to go this far?"
Kizaru's eyes narrowed slightly.
He could tell—Bullet was pushing himself past his absolute limits.
Twenty years of hellish training had forged his monstrous physique and Haki into something even Kizaru had to acknowledge.
Honestly, even if Prime Garp or Whitebeard stood before Bullet right now, the fight would be a toss-up—maybe a 60/40 split at best.
But the moment Bullet unshakable confidence was broken…
Even Magellan or Gion might have a chance to defeat him.
"I'M NOT DONE! I HAVE ONE LAST MOVE! IF I USE THAT, I CAN WIN!"
Bullet dropped to the frozen ground, his body trembling.
Then—
The entire fifth level of Impel Down began to shake.
Mountains of ice collapsed.
The unbreakable frozen surface fractured into countless shards.
As if pulled by an unseen force, massive chunks of ice rushed toward Bullet's location.
"…Whoa now. This is getting flashy."
Kizaru whistled, genuinely impressed.
The Grand Line was full of colossal creatures.
In comparison, twenty-meter-tall giants were nothing.
He had seen island-swallowing Goldfish, 5,000-meter-long Sea Kings, and even Zunesha, the walking island.
But no matter how many times he witnessed such absurdities—
They never failed to amaze him.
"ICE TITAN!"
The monstrous form finally emerged—
A towering colossus of solid ice, at least 200-300 meters tall.
One of its hands alone was larger than a Marine battleship.
Its massive, hulking body loomed like an ancient frozen god, a relic from a forgotten age.
And there was no doubt—
One punch from this thing could flatten an army.
"…This guy just won't quit, huh?"
Kizaru sighed, rubbing his chin.
Barrett was already beyond his limit.
And yet—
Even now—
Even on the verge of collapse—
He was still fighting.
"…Fine. I'll show you my full power."
Kizaru's voice dropped, unusually serious.
"…Though, I hope Impel Down is sturdy enough to survive this."
He muttered to himself, then reconsidered.
"Seven-tenths… no, eight-tenths power."
Barrett, however, heard none of it.
At this point, he was barely conscious.
His body, his Haki, and his indomitable will—
Everything he had built over two decades…
All of it had been poured into this final attack!
"DEMON GOD'S SHATTERING FIST: SHOCKWAVE!!!"
The Ice Titan hurled its gigantic fist straight at Kizaru.
At that exact moment—
Barrett's body completely broke down.
But even as his vision blurred—
Even as his mind faded—
His eyes remained locked on Kizaru, desperate to see him fall.
Even Roger never killed an Admiral.
If he could do it…
Then wouldn't that mean he had finally… surpassed Roger?
"ULTIMATE LIGHT."
Kizaru raised a single finger.
A simple, soft whisper.
And then—
Light.
Blinding, absolute, all-encompassing light.
Endless, blinding light swallowed Impel Down.
For a moment, the entire prison seemed to lose its color—reduced to nothing but sheer, absolute radiance.
And then—
As the brilliance began to fade—
The colossal Ice Titan started to collapse.
A gaping hole, over three meters in diameter, had pierced straight through it.
But that wasn't all.
Behind that thick layer of ice—behind two layers of Armament Haki—
Barrett was gone.
Completely erased.
And even more terrifying—
If one looked straight up through the hole—
They could see the sky.
Kizaru's attack had pierced through all five levels of Impel Down.
From Level Five, through Level Four, Three, Two, and One—
Through the fortress at the top of the prison—
Straight into the open air above the Calm Belt.
"Ahh… maybe that was a bit much."
Kizaru scratched his head, sounding almost… bothered.
Power growing too fast wasn't always a good thing.
In his mind, he had expected this blast to pierce through Level Four at most—
But to shoot clean through the entire prison?
That was a bit excessive.
Still…
His Observation Haki told him he hadn't injured anyone else.
Well—
Not exactly.
Anyone directly hit by that blast wouldn't have been injured.
They would've been erased from existence.
And a heavily injured Bullet was certainly not among the survivors.
—
Level Four: Blazing Hell
As the overwhelming light finally faded, consciousness slowly returned to those who had been caught in its wake.
"Was that… Kizaru?"
Gion was the first to react.
Her gaze followed the perfectly round hole in the ground.
Then—
She looked up.
Every single floor above them had an identical, precision-cut hole.
Even the clouds in the sky had a small, circular gap where the attack had passed through.
It wasn't hard to imagine just how powerful that blast had been.
Even as a candidate for Admiral, Gion had never heard of an attack this absurd.
"What… just happened?"
Magellan, still recovering from his wounds, groggily opened his eyes.
Then—
He saw the hole.
A hole that cut through almost the entire Impel Down.
"…I must be seeing things."
No one knew Impel Down better than Magellan.
He had guarded it for decades.
He understood its unbreakable architecture.
And yet—
This hole was real.
Someone had actually blasted through the prison.
"…There's no fucking way."
Gion, however, simply stared in awe.
"…So this is a Marine Admiral."
For a long moment, she stood frozen.
But rather than feeling discouraged, a fire ignited in her heart.
She had to get stronger.
Stronger than ten times what she was now.
Only then could she stand alongside Kizaru—
Instead of just watching his back.
Magellan, meanwhile, twitched.
"…You've got to be kidding me."
If all Marine Admirals were this powerful, then the Four Emperors would be—
Playing poker in Level Six right now.
The remaining guards slowly gathered, murmuring amongst themselves.
They had just witnessed the full power of an Admiral.
And now—
They were utterly convinced.
A Marine Admiral… was invincible.
The prisoners of Level Six?
No matter how dangerous—
No matter how monstrous—
What could they possibly do against this?
Level Six – Eternal Hell
The prisoners had finally come to an agreement.
Under the watchful intimidation of the strongest among them, they had set aside their differences.
Their first priority was escaping Impel Down.
Everything else—grudges, ambitions, betrayals—
Could wait until they were free.
"That bastard should be fighting the Admiral by now."
Shiryu muttered, eyes flickering toward the ceiling.
"When the noise stops, we rush up together."
By this point, he had made his decision—
No longer fearing Kizaru's strength.
No way.
No matter how terrifying Kizaru was—
How could one Marine Admiral handle an army of Level Six monsters?
Even Douglas Bullet—a man Shiryu already considered dead—
Had once been a dominant force on the seas.
Even if he couldn't defeat Kizaru, he could at least weaken him.
Yes.
Let Bullet drain Kizaru's stamina—
Then Shiryu would strike with the full force of Eternal Hell's worst criminals.
That was the plan.
That was the—
"…Why is it so quiet?"
Catarina Devon—the Crescent Moon Hunter—
Looked up at the passage above them.
Ever since Bullet had rushed into battle—
The entire prison had been shaking from their fight.
Both Bullet and Kizaru were true monsters.
Even the thickest walls of Impel Down trembled beneath their power.
But now—
Everything was silent.
Too silent.
Not even a whisper reached Level Six.
Even through Observation Haki, they felt nothing.
"…Heh heh heh… hic! Are we finally—hic!—fighting?"
Vasco Shot—the Heavy Drinker—stumbled forward, his face red with intoxication.
The moment he had been freed, he had somehow found several bottles of liquor in a dark corner of the prison.
One unfortunate prisoner had tried to take some from him.
They were beaten to death with a sake jug.
"It's dead silent. Move now!"
Shiryu's expression darkened.
He had been hoping Bullet could at least stall Kizaru—
Force him to exert himself.
But now?
It had barely been any time at all, and Bullet was already gone.
Some fools still believed Bullet had won—
That Kizaru had lost.
But Shiryu never had any expectations for him.
He knew better.
Long before he became Chief Warden, he had seen dozens of infamous pirates—
All personally captured by Kizaru.
No matter how strong they were—
They had all fallen.
In fact—
At least one-third of the prisoners right here in Level Six—
Had been thrown into Impel Down by Kizaru himself.
That was why so many criminals were willing to listen to Shiryu.
Even with Redfield backing him, it wouldn't have been so easy to convince them all.
But their hatred of Kizaru?
That was the key.
—
"…I have a bad feeling about this."
A low, gravelly voice broke the tense silence.
Patrick Redfield—the legendary Red Count—
Had already discarded his prison uniform.
Now, he stood leaning on his cane-like umbrella—
Gazing toward Level Five.
The last time he had felt this uneasy—
Was during his fight with Kong.
He had barely defeated the former Fleet Admiral.
And then—
Garp arrived.
—
But unlike Redfield—
The other prisoners had no such instincts.
They had waited too long in the dark.
They were impatient.
They were hungry.
And now—
They were ready to run.
