I’m a new to writing and I try to update one chapter a day, hopefully I’ll update more as I get used to writing.

Hi, this is me, NixxxiE. I'm the author of this Novel, Serendipity - A Chance Encounter..
I made this thinking that you may have some questions for me about the novel or about me. I will try to answer them. 4. What do you like to do when you're not writing?
** I read a lot. I used to watch KDramas too but now only seldom. I also chat on discord whenever I'm not writing. Actually, you know what, I can't write because I'm on discord. It's a distraction but I still do it. LMAO.
5. How many hours a day do you write?
** That depends because sometimes I write and then pause, write again and then stop. But let's just say... whenever I'm not doing house chores and working my main job, I write. If I'm being productive, I could write for 2-4 hours a day for a few chapters or longer if I can write more. With and without distractions.
6. When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
** I don't exactly know... maybe now? LOL. Because I used to compose poems when I was younger but the first story I wrote was 2017. I enjoyed it but I just started writing again in January of this year. I guess when people started reading my novel and I received some good reviews and comments, that's when I felt that I wanted to be a writer.
7. Do you hide any secrets in your book that only a few people will find?
** Hmmm... I write subtle hints but if I don't want to reveal any information yet, I don't overdo it. Sometimes, there are readers who guessed it right even without me pointing it out obviously.
9. How many chapters will it be?
** I'm not sure yet, probably around 200-400 chapters. It's hard to guess especially because, when I write, there will be some ideas that would suddenly come to mind. So it's unpredictable.
10. U recently said that u too are engaged. So is there moments in the story that had happened to u especially the couple moments?
**None actually. I don't think there were couple scenes that really happened in real life that I incorporated in the story. Although there were some wherein, depending on my mood, I would channel it to my character. An example was when Samantha suddenly became sick that Daniel had to bring her to his penthouse, the truth was, I was also sick that time. I was literally having allergic rhinitis and a slight fever. I was feeling so bad that time but I still wanted to write so I could upload a chapter for my readers and I ended up making her sick too. LOL So, in a way, what happens to me in real life affects my writing.

In regards to the story I've realized that there are some things that might be a bit confusing to the readers so i'm going to clarify them here instead of forcing these details into the story.

Pacing-

The book is pretty fast-paced because I suck at transitions but I'll try my best to make sure everything that needs to be explained gets an explanation. With that being said, Ill welcome any questions you guys might put in the comment section and ill try to get to them as soon as I see them. 
Plotline-

The actual story starts in the last chapter of volume one and goes into volume two. However, Cerin's real life story starts in volume three. I would suggest reading volume two because volume one was just how the others passed away but volume two actually shows their personalities and how they influence the MC. 
As the author, I would insist that you guys try to get through volume two but to get a feel of the actual story I would suggest getting to the middle of volume three before making the call. Volume One was fun to write but it doesn't really have much to do with the story. 
Place and time:
The characters are mostly in the modern world but ill avoid making any real-life references as its a personal peeve of mine whenever I see them in novels. The customs and stuff are kind of all over the place and whatever I found cool while I was writing it so I don't think you'll need any background knowledge to understand the character's actions, but if I think you do I'll make sure it's clearly explained. 
There is magic in the world but the majority of people cannot use it and do not know about it. The direction I want to take the magic in my fictional world is a sort of hidden world within the world. 

Different Cerins:
The Cerins when there are multiple of them will be referred to as their number of seniority which is decided by the order in which they arrived in the jade star.
While the Ninth ( the MC) lives out her life she DOES NOT have contact with the other Cerins, save for a few special occurrences, but she does have their memories and she can fully master their skills  through special actions.

Genre-
This is mainly a slice of life with a bit of wish fulfillment but not a lot of face slapping cause its tiresome to write. There might be a bit of romance in the future but there definitively wont be any for a while as the MC barely has enough of a personality in the beginning to support herself, never mind a significant other in person to person interactions. There is also the fact that I don't think I'm that great at writing romance so I tend to avoid it. 
As well there is a hint of a game elements that comes into play while she gains the different Cerin's skills. as well as a fantasy element when it comes to mastering the skills of a particular cerin...more detail in the book though.....(Hopefully. if not, ill update this place.)

Update speed-

Honestly whenever I get to it. I enjoy writing and I try to do it as much as possible but I couldn't do it if I thought of it as a responsibility since I already have so many of them irl so please be understaqnding.

The first was a successful career woman with a shameful past.

 The second was a famous  musician with an awful personality. 

The third was a short tempered martial artist  born in the wrong time period. 

The fourth was a misunderstood girl forced on to the wrong path to become a witch.

 The fifth was  a doctor with a deceptive personality.

 The sixth was a lazy girl with paradoxical ambition to be a fashion designer. 

The seventh was a single minded chef from a family of gourmets.

 The eighth was hard working judge with a frozen heart. 

The ninth came after the eighth deaths of the same named women and her story has only just begun.

The first questions were still pretty normal:

There were several more questions and they got a little more detailed the further he got but after twenty or so questions the content suddenly got … strange.
[Have you had a crush on someone? If yes, what was that person like? If no, what kind of person would you fall in love with?]
[Have you ever kissed someone? If yes, what kind of kiss did you share?]
[Have you been in a relationship? If yes, for how long? And how far have you gone?]
[Have you ever had sex? Were you on top or —]
Su Yan instantly stopped reading. By now, his whole face was red. Who would ask such questions when trying to set up a test for writing?!
One might suspect that this was the doing of a certain fujoshi in the headquarters of Heaven Corporation and, in fact, that wasn't totally wrong. It was just that Official Lu Shen hadn't set this up consciously. The problem was rather that she had written into the application form that the system was meant to help Su Yan further his skills and experiences. For a system related to an occupation, furthering skills would have been enough.
Now, with the addition of furthering experiences, the system had to somehow interpret this. And what were experiences related to being an author of bl stories? With the suggested prerequisite of only writing what you knew as long as you weren't an old-stager in the business, the Lovely Writing System had set 'experiencing everything related to bl' as one of the requirements for Su Yan's journey to success.
Ah, what one thoughtless entry of an official could cause …
Thankfully, Su Yan knew nothing of the inner workings of either the Heaven Corporation or the Lovely Writing System. He could only see the rather strange questions in front of him.
He seriously began to wonder if this thing was really something dirty and was just disguised as a tool to help writers. He looked over to Nie Chang and wanted to ask what he thought but finally decided against it. Nie Chang loved to tease people. If he showed him, he'd probably have to answer all these questions. Where would his face be then?
Nah, let's just answer it in case it's really something related to writing. And it's Nie Chang's notebook anyway. If something happens he can just repair it again. Yes, Su Yan had complete trust in Nie Chang's skills and didn't mind giving him a bit more to do.
He started answering the questions with a serious attitude. Who knew? It might have something to do with writing romance subplots or something like that. Unfortunately, Su Yan had to admit that he might really need some help with that. He actually had to answer most of the questions with a decisive no.
Finally, he answered the last question. He sighed with relief. Any more and he wouldn't be able to take it anymore. What was it with women nowadays? He had a stable job and, if he might say so himself, he wasn't bad-looking. Why none of them take him into consideration?
The Lovely Writing System didn't pay any attention to Su Yan's inner turmoil and just started to work:

The [Getting started] task was checked and a new line appeared below: [Read the following web novel and write one new scene of no more than 2000 words that features a romantic encounter.]
Su Yan's face lit up. So that strange test had really been to find out where his problems lay! Maybe romance was something a lot of people had problems with so it was one of the possible first tests? And if he had answered yes everywhere then he probably would have gotten some additional questions to figure out if he had other areas he was bad at.
Su Yan had managed to explain to himself what all this was about. It seemed perfectly normal to him but he was in for a surprise.
He opened the web novel the Lovely Writing System had provided and started with chapter 1. He didn't even read the synopsis. After all, a story chosen by this awesome program that was supposed to help him become a better author should be a great work of fiction, no?
Thus, he started reading right off the bat and tried to take note of every possible pairing. After some chapters, he began to frown. This was somehow … strange? This was obviously a romance web novel but … Why did it seem like the main pairing were two men?
The poor Su Yan who had never even heard of bl novels before was suddenly confronted with something like this. He really couldn't understand. Thus, he just read further. Maybe there would be some great revelation that that supposed 'crown prince' was, in fact, a crown princess. Hadn't he heard of that somewhere? What did they call it? Gender bender or something like that? It seemed one of his co-workers had mentioned that once. He hadn't really paid attention, though. It just wasn't the kind of story he would like.
But the web novel suggested by the system seemed to lean toward the funny side anyway so maybe the author had thought that would get a few good laughs from the readers? Su Yan read chapter after chapter until he hit the end of volume 1 but the big revelation never came.
Frowning, he went back to the front page and had a look at the tags. There were some and most of them weren't anything he knew. What was that 'yaoi' and what did the acronym 'bl' mean?
Su Yan opened Baidu and typed that strange acronym in. Then, he got the second shock that night. He had clicked on the images and videos since he thought he might get it faster that way. Indeed he did. There were actually quite a few search results and all of them had one thing in common: They showed two men. And they were doing it with each other.
Su Yan forcefully closed the notebook. Somehow, he felt corrupted now.

Su Yan always wanted to be an author. Being moved by his determination (Well, in fact, she was just an avid reader of his fan-fictions and wanted him to write full time …) official Shen Lu grants the aspiring author a system: The Lovely Writing System!
Finding a strange app on his beloved notebook, Su Yan is sure he has fallen prey to a hacker. But why is this strange app issuing tasks related to his favorite hobby? Wait … What? He is supposed to write BL?! And what is this shitty task about experiencing story immersion?! No! He’d rather not become an author if that means he also has to become a shou!

Q 1: How did you come up with this story?
A: Well, I always had a story like this in mind. I always imagined myself as the main character of whatever book I was reading and once I saw a drama that used that same premise, I decided to write my own. 

Q 2: Are any of your characters based on real people?" 
A: Only Hannah and the first characters in the first chapters like her brother, her parents, her friend and her crush. 

Q 3: When is the romance going to start?
A: Haha. The way I see it, since Hannah is from the real world, normally people don't fall in love at first sight; sometimes they begin as friends or know of each other but never really talked to one another. I want Hannah to get used to her new surroundings first, once that's done I'll come up with more lovey-dovey stuff so please be patient with me. Haha.

Q 4: Do you have a specific number of chapters already planned out or do you come up with stuff as you go along?
A little bit of both. I already have events planned out but the stuff that happens in the middle, before the event, I come up with those as I go along.  

Q 5: Will you ship Hannah with anyone or will she be the one doing the shipping?
A: As you already know, she ships Min-Joon and Yu-Na, but her being shipped with anyone? Hmm...you're going to have to keep reading to find out. 

Q 6: Is it hard keeping the pace of the story consistent when you must be excited about future plot points?
A: Definitely! I sometimes re-read the chapters I've posted just for the fun of it and notice I changed someone's name or skipped over an important detail. I get scared and a bit embarrassed. I'm sure I must have confused a lot of my readers. Sorry about that!

Q 7: What do you want for this novel?
A: That's kind of a vague question. Haha. I guess that I'd like my novel to get higher in the power ranking so more people can read it, and maybe even get "Where you are" in the front page recommendations, but that's just my wishful thinking.

Q 8: Do you already have the ending planned out?
A: Kind of. I have 4 scenarios in mind right now. I'm still debating on which one to use though. 

Q 9: (Its not a question) I like your writing style.
A: Thank you so much. Sometimes I get self conscious about my writing because I feel like I write too much dialogue and don't write enough details to explain the surroundings. I sometimes feel sloppy but thank you for your compliment. 

Q 10: Why did you title it "Where you are?"
A: I had other titles in mind but somehow it ended up with that one.
Q: What other titles did you have in mind?
A: I had a few, like:
1. Somewhere far away
2.He could be the one
3.The story of us
4. Life after you
5. Never been in love
6. Three simple words

Q 11: (Not a question) I don't understand Dae-Hyun's personality.
A: Hahaha. To be honest, me neither. I wanted to make him a nice guy but he somehow I ended up making him like a younger version of Min-Joon. I guess we'll unravel his personality together. Haha.

Chapter 7. Contract (3)

When Rei's parents came home, they were surprised to see a middle aged man in their home. 

"Um, Rei, who is this?" his mother asked him pointing at Nagamo-san.

"Mom, I wanted to tell you after it was published but, actually he is my editor and he is here for the contract signing"

"Published?"

"Contract?"

His father and mother were both confused by those words and Rei had to give them an explanation.

After knowing Rei's book was going to publish, his mother was jumping with joy and hugged Rei tightly and said.

"Rei, oh Rei! I am very happy for you. I can't believe your book is going to be published. I know you definitely had that talent"

His father didn't say anything but you could clearly see that, he was smiling inwardly and had a happy mood.

After greetings, his mother invited Nagamo-san to eat sushi they had bought back.

If it was a normal occasion, his mother wouldn't have done that but today was a happy occasion, especially for his mother, her son's book was going to be published, how can she not be happy.

Nagamo-san also didn't reject it as it will be too disrespectful and he was also somewhat hungry, as it was already dinner time.

While eating sushi, his mother and father kept asking Nagamo-san questions and Rei was sitting listening to them.

His parents were rather curious about his sudden book and wanted to ask some questions to ensure themselves.

"Nagamo-san, can you tell me about my son's novel and will it be successful or not?" his father asked.

"The chances of his novel succeeding are very high, you could trust my experience as a senior editor, your son's novel was very good and as your son is only 16 year old, it will create a good publicity, I don't think there is any chance for the novel to fail"

"Really!"

Nagamo-san nodded and his parents expression was filled with relief. As parents, they wanted their son to succeed and Nagamo-san had already given them his business card proving his identity as a senior editor.

"Well, you see although you said that our son's novel would sell, I am still somewhat doubtful about my son writing a novel. Until now, he was never interested in books, he was instead interested in celebrities till now"

Rei was previously aspiring to be a celebrity and had never read books. His sudden change had also perplexed his parents.

Rei was also troubled by this, he didn't gave it much thought but his change would surely have surprised his parents.

While trying to maintain a calm face, he said.

"Recently, I read a book and it quickly engrossed me. That's why I thought of writing, I don't know that my novel would be published suddenly"

"Is that so"

"So, that's why you are holed up in your room this past month"

Although his father and mother somewhat believed it, Nagamo-san had a troubled expression.

He had previously seen those celebrity posters in Rei's room but because of «Your name», he had forgotten about it. 

Now, he was told that Rei had only started writing a month ago, he was greatly stunned by this.

He had never seen this kind of situation in his 15 years of editing career.

Rei had a disposition of a veteran author and considering Rei's age, he had thought that he had at least been writing for 2-3 years to write that kind of story.

But now that he knew that Rei had just started writing for 1 month, he can't help but doubt his ears.

"Um, I am just asking to confirm but Is it really true that Rei had been only writing for a month"

"Yeah, he was always interested in celebrities instead of books"

"I never thought that he will be able to write a book"

After confirming, Nagamo-san can't help but fall into monetary shock.

His thoughts were in mess.

If a high school student will be able to write that kind of story, then we can say that he is a genius but if a high school student wrote that kind of story in just a month and he wasn't even into books till now, no he wrote two top novels in just a month, he can't be called just a genius, he is a genius that can only born once in thousand years.

'Maybe, Sakura Island can get itself a new world class author'

Nagamo-san thought that as he glanced towards Rei.

At first, he was worried that Rei maybe one of those one-hit wonders, although his story was top level, he was just a 16 year old.

He had seen many people like him who wrote good novels at first and succeed early in life but due to various reasons, they soon fade away from the light and just became a memory.

He was really afraid that Rei would also be like these authors, he liked Rei both as a author and a person, he didn't wanted him to fail.

But after reading «Your name», he was sure that Rei was not those one-hit wonders. 

Although he had not read the ending yet, he can tell that the story is top class.

It had everything a book should have. It has love, drama and the little bit of mystery which will make the readers engrossed for a long time.

They will not be able to close the book without knowing the ending. It was that type of story.

While talking to his parents, Nagamo-san occasionally took glances at Rei.

The atmosphere was friendly but Nagamo-san insides were burning from passion.

In his mind, he was thinking of the resources he need to deploy to promote his novel and he also have to convince Rei to let him publish «Your name». 
He can tell that Rei was reluctant to have him read «Your name», he didn't knew the reason behind it but he was dame adamant to publish this novel.

He wanted to see this novel in the bookstores. He was sure that it will make a great impact on the market.

No, both his book and the name Yuuki will surely have great impact in the writers community.

I have no write to demand anyone's attention if you read this or not. I have spent the last couple weeks just not writing, feeling down watching all the stuff in the world and I don't blame anyone from just skipping past this inactive writer one bit. 
But, if you care about where the story is going I do have good news. This last week I have been straining myself every night to begin writing the entire story anew. It's made my hair recede two inches and I'm only turning 18 this year. 
I am hoping to expand greatly upon the story I had begun. And an estimated growth of the story is making each chapter longer and more diverse. An example would be the first chapter which I expanded into nearly three. 
If that means each chapter gets that care I have the basic layout of nearly sixteen chapters of better story layout... I hope. I will be stopping this novel and starting a new one. What the name will be, I honestly have no clue what a good name would be.

I honestly have no idea, but the first chapter will be posted in the next couple hours. June 16 is the date, and by today somethin will be decided. If you haven't completely lost faith in me, like myself, you are more than welcome to start the journey anew again. Or don't, it's all up to you. And if you are dedicated, then please help me pick a name that catches peoples eye. Comment down below which is better, or if they're all terrible give me some new ones. 
Also, if there is a good number of comments, I will let anyone who wants anyone ask me questions about the story. I'll answer anything. If I ever come back to this it may just be a Q and A where I post my ideas and get any input. 
But, who knows, no one may read this and I wouldn't blame them. Me letting the story go as I did was irresponsible, and I'll take the consequences. But that doesn't mean I want to end my story, I enjoy writing too much to give up on it.
