#Tuesday announcement#

Hello everyone, author is here))
I want to take a break today, because due to growing story and continious improvement of MC it is really hard to manually keep track of what changes and what increases. What one ability does and etc. 
Therefore, today I started on creating a software that will help with that issue. I started it in the morning and still doing it now. 
Because, I spent most of my day typing program and sitting while doing so, I don't have strength to write a chapter for a story. It takes on average around 3 to 4 full hours to write a chapter if idea is clear, however lately chapters take longer, due to all foundation laying and story progression.
So, I don't want to write a wacky chapter just for a sake of new chapter. I will continue working on software to keep track of the MC progression and hopefully tomorrow I will do the chapter.

#Wednesday Update#

So, I am still working on software. Saving objects and modifying their copies is huge problem in C# cause it has no direct way of doing and apparently I forgot about it ;_) so... I made vital parts of interface and implemented them but still got stuck with copying objects. Takes a lot of time and I am really tired, but thought that not updating chaps for you for 2 days straight will be bad, so I decided to dedicate less time to software and started finishing chapter I started yesterday. 
After all, today I had to do less things for soft then on Tuesday))   
Without software really hard to keep track of all skills and abilities and other stuff. And paper not very editable in my opinion AND Wednesday chapter was especially heavy on this, but I did it XD .  
Thankfully I started it yesterday, so I was able to make it)))

Anyway I am going to continue doing software. See tomorrow. And don't forget to leave your feedback. I always try to read your comments. 

#Thursday update#

Software is nearly finished and I already started filling up info I had manually written or just kept in mind. I wanted to finish it as soon as possible, but rushing will lead only to mistakes. 
So today's chapter will be skipped as well, because previous chapter received some negative feedback, despite me working on it for 2-3 hours, which means I need to polish chapters even harder. 
Also, there was an idea by "WolfLord" about quests and that got me thinking about how can I implement it, because the idea was really good and would fit with next activity(walk in forest).

Chapter 6. Thoughts

"Ren, how is your school going?"

"Ah, it's going well."

Ren answered his mother's question as he was eating dinner. 

"Have your already thought of a university?"

'University!'

Ren slightly frown hearing that question. He had not thought about going to a university. No, he don't know if he really wanted to go to a university or not.

In his previous life, university was the place where everything had started for him and he also didn't have many good memories of it.

Although Ren had those thoughts, he still answered his mother normally.

"I hadn't thought of anything yet."

His mother frowned at Ren's answer and said.

"You are already in your third year and there's less than a year left to the university exams. You have to thought about these things quickly."

"Yes"

Ren simply nodded at his mother's words and noticing that, his mother nagging continued.

"You have to do well in your upcoming midterm exams. If you want to join some cram schools, tell me. I will give you the money for it."

Ren simply nodded at his mother's words but he was frowning inwardly. 

'This was very similar to my last life.'

The conversation Ren was currently having was very similar to his last life. 

At that time, his parents had continued to nag him everyday with a silmilar conversation and Ren had to listen to their words and go to various cram schools.

Although the result was good and Ren was able to get into a literary college because of it but only Ren knew that he had pushed himself to study.

That was not a pleasant phase in his life. It was only after entering the college that he had confronted his parents and decided to write a novel.

"Are you listening to me? If you don't study now, you won't be able to get a job like your father and live a good life."

Ren instinctively frowned at his mother's words. He was really frowning too much but he can't do anything about it when his mother talked about his father in the conversation.

His father was a office worker and he also have a good salary and a high position. He also have a good wife and a son. You can describe him as a happy man but…..

'His seat was empty as usual.'

Ren glanced at his father's seat which was empty. It was like this for at least half of the month. His father would often work overtime and come home late.

You could say that his life was good but it was too tiring. Even if Ren forced himself, he didn't wanted to live that kind of life.

It was simply too exhausting!

"Do you understand? You have to do well in your studies or you will not be able to succeed in life."

Ren wanted to retort her words but he knew it wasn't the time for that. In his previous life, he had a fallout with his parents and they had never met each other till his death.

He didn't wanted to have the same experience in this life. Only after being lonely did he understood the value of parents.

For now, he can only listen to the nagging of his mother while consecutively nodding his head.

'What do I do from now on?'

It was a question Ren was continuously asking himself. His mind was in a mess. It wasn't because of his mother's nagging but because of a sentence that was roaming in his mind.

'You will do well as a author!'

They are the words that Nakai sensei had told him and since then, he had thinking about those words.

Can he really be a author? Can he really write a good story? What are the chances of him succeeding? He can also fail, right.

Those were the thoughts that were roaming in his head. Although he had said that he will continue his career as a author if he get the second chance but he was not sure if he can really walk the path again.

You could say he was insecure. He was afraid of the failure. He didn't wanted to go through the same life again.

'But what can I do if not writing?'

He thought of his earlier conversation with his mother. His mother wished him to go to a university and get a office job but Ren knew he wasn't suitable for it.

He knew that he will not be able to survive in that kind of job. It also wasn't like he was just starting his high school.

He was already in his third year of high school. There wasn't much time left before he had to face society.

He can either go through what his mother said and regret or he he could go through his own path and live a life of no regrets.

It was really obvious what he should choose but he was slightly afraid. 

'The only thing I didn't regret.'

As he was thinking about that, he thought of his previous life. He had many regrets in that life but there was one thing he never regretted, it was choosing his life as a author.

He never regretted that he choosed to become a author until he died. 

While thinking about that, Ren stood up from his bed and opened his laptop.

It was a laptop which was only used by the previous owner to play games but it still had a writing software.

Ren opened the software and wrote the working title on it. 

'Genius.'

He had decided to write the same topic Nakai sensei had told him to but he didn't plan to just write the story based on his essay.

A essay and a novel is a fundamentally different thing. 

A essay consist of the author's own arguments and thoughts about a topic but a novel also have to connect to the readers.

He will have to change the story completely if he wanted his novel to connect with the readers.

'What do I write about?'

He wanted to write about something he can relate to. Genius was a topic that was closely related to his past life but adapting it into a novel is different.

'A story about a genius!'

A story than relates closely to his past life but can he really say that he was a genius.

Ren didn't knew the question to this answer. If he really was a genius, then he shouldn't have failed but he also can't deny that he was called a genius.

If he really believed that he was a genius, then he can't deny that geniuses can also fail.

His mind was in a web of thoughts but before he realised, his hands were already moving.

He was typing words very quickly and soon, he had wrote nearly 5000 words.

He looked at the time, it was already 12. It should have slept already but his mind was wide awake and he wanted to write currently.

'It was a nostalgic feeling.'

While writing, he felt the nostalgic feeling he used to feel in his previous life. He was writing after a long time but he felt like he was again alive.

'It is a good feeling.'

While thinking about that, Ren continued to write

Fame, wealth, prestige, genius, destruction, despair, loss and failure.

Those are the eight words which describes Ren's life completely.

He was hailed as a genius but his arrogance led him to despair. From a genius, he became a failure.

He was just struggling with his life when fate gave him a second chance.

Now, what will he do after he found himself waking up in another world.

　　After an unperceived amount of time, he woke up once again.

　　Yet again he felt disoriented, and a feeling of panic slowly started creeping up on him once more. However, this time, he quickly suppressed those feelings. He knew that once he let himself fall into panic, he would once again grow tired extremely quickly. He did not know why this was the case, but he could feel the tendrils of exhaustion slowly trying to get a hold of him already.

　　Even thinking such simple thoughts caused him to grow increasingly tired. He quickly tried to get what he knew in order before he succumbed to sleep once more.

　　He knew he had been on a tight schedule, finishing his software by double-checking the code so that he could send it to the company the next day. Being a programmer was hard at a time when AIs could write most of the code by themselves, and the only way to earn a living was to constantly come up with new, creative ways of using the coding language, to differentiate your software from those of the AIs.

　　Creativity was the only field in which AIs had not been able to surpass humans… yet.

　　He remembered being extremely exhausted and anxious while working, when he suddenly felt his heart beat at an irregular rhythm. He felt a sudden sharp pain start in his heart as it clenched tightly, then the unbearable pain shot up, through his spine, and he felt his consciousness start slipping away.

　　He felt death approach him.

　　He could not even make a sound.

　　The only thought in his head was, "Am I going to die? Just like this?"

　　He had not known his parents, for he was an orphan. With no relatives to speak of, and because of the immense societal pressure, he had had to start doing part time since very young. Due to always being preoccupied with putting food on the table and paying for his own education, he had extremely few and distant friends, and as for close friends, he had none. Of course, it was self-evident that he had never been in a relationship of any kind.

　　As his life up to that point had flashed before his eyes, he only found himself in school, university, and work, without any rest at any time. It was understandable why he would feel that life was unfair, trivial, and worthless. As though he had served no purpose, made no impact on anyone or anything.

　　The only feeling he had felt before his consciousness had left him, was indignation.

　　Just recalling what had happened previously had already taken up all of his mental strength. He could no longer keep himself conscious. As the bindings of fatigue fully coiled themselves around him, he once more slipped into a deep slumber.

　　When he next awakened, he no longer felt as disoriented as the previous two times.

　　He quickly got to sorting out his thoughts, for he knew that time was limited, and he had to figure out as much as he could before he succumbed once more to whatever was impairing his stamina so severely.

　　He tried to figure out what had happened that had caused him to suddenly undergo a near death experience.

　　After a while of deliberation, he came to the conclusion that he had most likely had a heart attack due to a lack of sleep, exhaustion due to over-working, and severe anxiety over many days. He suddenly felt concerned about whether he still had the job or not, whether they would still pay him for the software he had made or not, whether all the time and effort spent on programming for that software had been in vain or not…

　　No, he should not think in such a manner.

　　He knew that it was a miracle that he had survived, since he had not been able to make any sound to call for help, and almost no one knew where he lived, much less visited him. But after coming to this conclusion, he was even more puzzled.

　　Why couldn't he open his eyes? Why was he cramped in such a confined space? Why was being cramped for such a long time not uncomfortable? Why did the air he was breathing seem to be so viscous? Why did he have such a low amount of stamina? Why did he not feel any hunger at all?

　　Why?

　　He was far more confused now than before. Getting his thoughts in order had not helped at all. He also still had no idea for how to escape his current predicament. He was far too weak to be able to break through whatever was confining him. He did not know what the future held for him.

　　Was he crippled or disabled in some way due to the accident? How much would it cost to cover the medical fees once he was cured? Would he ever be fully cured?

　　No.

　　Stop.

　　He forcefully stopped himself from thinking.

　　He knew his thoughts were going in circles. Worrying would not do anything helpful in the current situation. He was powerless to do anything, and he had to accept it.

　　His ability to stop his thoughts from going awry was one of his strong suits. He had trained himself in meditation when he had started getting overwhelmed with work during high school, and that had come in very handy on a daily basis since he had been able to relax through it.

　　He let all thoughts fade away from his mind, as though uncovering a veil that he never knew was covering him.

　　Then he let that thought fade away as well.

　　He started progressively going deeper and deeper into nothingness as he let his perceptions slowly fade away layer by layer.

　　After a long, unperceived amount of time, he felt calmer than he had ever felt. Suddenly he felt as though there was a slow and steady warm current washing over him, the feeling was almost imperceptibly faint, but he had felt it. And the moment he noticed it, the slight amount of deviation of his focus caused the feeling to instantly disappear like a phantom.

　　As soon as that faint feeling disappeared, the fatigue struck him so strongly that he immediately lost consciousness.

　　Hello everyone, I'm Shaptarshi Joarder, but you can call me Jovian.

　　I hope everyone enjoyed the start of the story.

　　I'm planning on making this story a very long journey where everyone can follow alongside the MC as he lives his life filled with fun and adventure. This story, while it will still have the occasional dark scenes filled with intensity and intrigue, will most of the time strive to be something to help you relax. This is a story about the adventure and fun-filled life of the first magus in a world that only knew cultivation. Lu Zhou briefly looked at the operating system that the artificial intelligence gave him.
Honestly speaking, he was a little disappointed.
The operation method was similar to a Linux desktop distribution. The only advantage was that it was compatible with both Windows and Linux software. It could be operated by using a mouse or by inputting command lines into the dialog box in the center of the screen.
In terms of internet access, it had a built-in unknown browser. It could browse the web and download software and there was no difference from a Windows operating system. 
The shortcoming of this operating system was that it was simply too big. It took up 1TB of disk space and it nearly filled up Lu Zhou's entire laptop!
After all this, Lu Zhou still did not understand what was the use of this thing.
It seemed that there was another dialog box on the lower right corner. It looked like a chat box for "Xiao Ai".
It seemed like one of those pets you talked to on QQ. 
However, Xiao Ai's intelligence worried Lu Zhou. He had briefly tested it and commanded it using a simple language. He asked her to open a computer folder and run a program. Without any problems, it could even auto-completed the program he was typing.
However, these operations could be done by entering command lines and so, it seemed kind of useless.
As for normal conversations, Xiao Ai could only say hello. When it came to difficult sentences, it would often ask, "What does XXX mean?"
It was like a little baby learning how to talk. 
However, it was better than a baby. He would only have to explain to it one time for it to understand and it would never forget anything.
Lu Zhou had not discovered other uses, at least not now. 
As he leaned against the wall behind him, he sighed and thought, "Is the so-called level one artificial intelligence just this? I guess I have to wait for level 2."
It was a lot worse than Google's DisBelief and it was even worse compared to the Deep Blue program from a decade ago. 
Of course, Lu Zhou knew that it was unfair. The former had thousands of servers for support and it basically ran on a supercomputer. The computing power could not be compared to his laptop. 
It was like a person. No matter how logical they were, if they did not have enough brain cells they would still be a retard. 
Emm…
Right now, Xiao Ai was no different than a retard. 
He could only wait to change a better "brain" for it. For example, a server or something. 
However, that was still far away. The laptop could handle level 1 Xiao Ai and he could wait until level 2 before he should upgrade the hardware. 
Lu Zhou sat cross-legged on the bed as he began to study the methods of upgrading the artificial intelligence. 
Simply speaking, he had two paths.
One path was by using general points. The exchange rate between general points and the technology branch experience points was 1:1. 
The other way was by relying on Xiao Ai to do machine learning while he slowly accumulated the experience points needed for Xiao Ai to upgrade. 
Xiao Ai seemed to have a certain level of self-learning ability. Lu Zhou just had to allocate some computing power to self-learning and the program would automatically increase its "intelligence progress bar". 
According to instructions given by Xiao Ai, when the progress bar was filled once, the artificial intelligence technology branch experience would increase by 100. 
Which was saying, if he allocated all the computing power to self-learning and waited for the progress bar to be filled ten times, his technology branch would be upgraded. 
What a slow upgrading method…

It was the last training session for the National Mathematical Modeling Competition and Professor Liu had some important words to say. They were mainly competition regulations, rules, and some other matters that needed attention. 
It was the last training session and Lin Yuxiang came quite timely. Not only did she not arrive late, but she was also the first one there. Wang Xiaodong was in the computer room, figuring out his timetable, so he was slightly late. 
Apparently, the genius had already finished half of the third year subjects in his second year. Other people were still selecting their majors while he was already preparing for graduation. 
After everyone arrived, Professor Liu smiled and walked onto the podium. 
"You guys aren't little kids anymore and so, I won't emphasize on safety issues. I'll briefly talk about the rules of the competition and some things to be aware of."
"The competition has a time period of 72 hours and the requirement is to submit the completed thesis within that time. You guys will be staying up late so I suggest you get a good night's sleep the day before. From my past experience, the person responsible for modeling and writing the thesis can only sleep on the second night. The person coding can't sleep on the second night and can only sleep a few hours in the third night. You guys have to cooperate with your teammates and complete the thesis."
"Modeling, coding, thesis writing. Every single one of those three is important. I've talked about this already so I won't repeat myself."
"The other problem is discipline. During the time frame of the competition, the teams are forbidden to communicate with other teams and the contestants are also forbidden to communicate with teachers. You can use the Internet to download or look at materials, but you cannot message anyone." 
In reality, this rule was not strictly enforced. Some weaker teams would get their teacher to look over the materials but none of them would directly get the teacher to do the question. Good schools had honest teachers but some bad schools…
The teachers might have been worse than the students. 
That statement was no exaggeration. Teaching and doing it yourself were two different things. After all, the coverage area and randomness of the mathematical model was too big. Even professors could not do everything.
"Teacher, what if I searched for answers on Baidu?" asked Lin Yuxiang with her hand raised.
Teacher Liu laughed and he said, "You can try, see if you find anything."
When Lu Zhou heard her, he laughed in his heart.
Anyone that asked that question was someone that knew nothing about mathematical modeling. Not only that they had not experienced the feelings of being dominated by those insanely hard questions, they thought this was similar to Olympic maths when it was nothing like it. 
If a person was given a customer data for a telecommunications company and asked to design products for different customers according to the requirements, where would the person go and search for the answer? Some of the questions were related to the competition's sponsors. If the model that was designed was good enough, the sponsors might just take it and use it. There were no answers for the person to search for. 
Lin Yuxiang's face was slightly red with embarrassment as she pulled down her right hand in. 
Teacher Liu paused for a second before continuing, "The other problem is the team leader. There is no requirement for one. Our school has always secretly acknowledged the first name on the prize list as the captain. But this is just a false title. It doesn't mean anything. According to previous competitions, the captain is generally held by the person writing the thesis and is responsible for integrating the teammates together. However, you can also set the captain according to your year. What do you guys think?"
Wang Xiaodong pushed his glasses, "Just make it Lu Zhou, I don't care."
Lin Yuxiang was holding her thighs and she nodded. Naturally, she did not have any opinions.

"When the time comes, the school will arrange a school bus to send you guys to the old school where a temporary accommodation will be arranged for you."
"Finally, remember to ask for a permission slip from your instructor and clearly write down the reason for your absence. As for the lectures missed during the competition, you guys will have to think of a way to make up for it." 
"Ask me if you have any questions. If not, you guys can leave."

Chatnoir running off with ladybug to the rooftop and Ladybug had asked whats with his extra powers, Chatnoir had nothing to say but "I don't know what this is but I can say it makes me feel powerful enough to protect you". Chatnoir knew whom it came from and wouldn't want to tell Ladybug of her identity yet after the last meeting. Ladybug hearing her beeping but looked at Chatnoir's ring as his isn't beeping, "Even your miraculous doesn't have a time limit, we gotta talk about this next time Chat" Ladybug leaving off and going to her master for assistance. Chatnoir going home and in his room, he was tired and said the words to his Miraculous, and the strange magic had come from a necklace that appeared on his neck. he looked at the necklace and went up to his bed and found a box under his pillow, it was purple and had a note in it;
         Chatnoir, sorry for the sudden magic occurrence but I thought you may need it in your situation but I'm going to need it back so meet me tonight at the usual.            from Violet 

Chatnoir had waited and came with the necklace on the rooftop, I looked at Chatnoir "hey chat" he was confused at first looked at Viola with her hero suit on and asked the question "So what is this then if it's not your miraculous. I told him "It is! just wait" she stuck her hand out and the set-piece had turned into mist and went into the suit of the owner. Chatnoir found the whole thing cool, "that's awesome but does it have an effect?" I nodded that it doesn't and said: "only the fact that it cuts my power". Chatnoir was happy "That makes sense, can I have that power often, " I told him "No" he kept on begging but my answer doesn't change and he let it off. 
"I only will help if I find you in deep danger and it won't be easy for me to assist you, I'm not offered to help you all the time, I'm your back up okay." 
Chatnoir understood it and had just wanted to watch the skies with Viola. Viola felt so relaxed and asked "So tell how was the experience and don't leave a single detail out" 
Chatnoir looked at her "Whaa! so I'm basically your experiment" Viola Nodded and Chatnoir took the time explaining everything. After two hours of explaining Chatnoir was exhausted and fell on the floor, he knew that he found out a new side of Viola and felt happy about it and scared. Viola left Chatnoir behind for a few seconds and came back with warm drinks and snacks, Viola lent it to Chatnoir-
"Here this is your reward for helping me, your reward will upgrade depending on your progress or achievements" it was a bunch of snacks for Chatnoir. Viola left right after giving him his snacks and he was buried within it. Chatnoir wanted to say something but couldn't and would just keep it to himself until the time, Chatnoir really enjoyed the snacks it was everything he liked. 
   I came back home and breathing heavily on the ground of the slow effects of the charm, it had also drained one-third of my energy after finished transformation although it had been a success. My kwami had worried for me but congratulated me on my success in progress. I had breath and rested myself for a couple of seconds and went into a secret room and started the transformation of the jewel of my necklace and it was a hard improvement and Chatnoir hadn't seen or received Viola's help and well as seen Scarlette at school often. Scarlette had been called in sick for a month, finally the time she came to school she didn't look alright even with her act. Nathaniel and Marc had looked at me with worry and had heard me with an earpiece but I told them I was okay and there are no problems with me and school. and I'd still kept up with helping the story project with the guys and ideas with the help of technology. I was happy with my progress with my secret project, I wanted to tell the guys but they don't know anything about technology much and this might well interfere with their story writing so I still kept it a secret with the guys. Hey everyone, this is a small post I am making to tell you all a little bit about myself, along with the announcement and my reasons for going premium.
I've looked around Webnovel, and I saw a lot of authors listing their IRL reasons for needing money, and hence going premium.
So, I thought I would do the same. I have a great family, and a great relationship, but that is it.
I've been struggling with depression for the past 4 years.
