I wrote this in 15 mins because I was feeling super sad while watching break-up stories on youtube?

Dayeong Lee has been my best friend since preschool. It doesn't matter how many times you've said the same thing she never gets  tired of hearing ridiculous stories. Non judgmental person always has your back and is pretty smart. 
    Her parents are supportive to most of her decisions except her studies. When it comes to her studies her parents have full control. She applied for a scholarship at Hana Academy. Her sophomore year in a new high school without her best friend would be terrible. So she thought.

Who would’ve thought that an unexpected phone call could change the life’s of seven highschoolers forever.

Gu Mengmeng remembered, Lea had once said that to her.
Just that that time…
Sighing, she pushed him aside, "Stop fooling around, you know I wouldn't eat you."
Lea was devastated, seeming to be disappointed by how unmatched Gu Mengmeng was. He patted his tummy, mumbling to himself, "It's definitely very yummy, why would she not like it?"
Gu Mengmeng was really speechless. First Barete, then Elvis, now Lea. What's wrong with the males of the beast world? There is an abundance of resources, so much to eat, why must they suggest for others to eat themselves? Do they think they are damned mantises?"
Gu Mengmeng sat back into Elvis' arms, looking at Lea, "Sit down, let's eat something together."
Lea nodded and sat cross-legged beside Elvis, his elbows on his knees, hands on his cheeks, smiling at Gu Mengmeng, "Are you planning on eating me after feeding me till I'm fat?"
Gu Mengmeng raised her tiny fist, gesturing like she was about to his someone, "Don't agitate me, I just gave birth and can't take scared, you keep telling me damned horror stories about eating others, if you scare me until I can't produce more milk, I will fight to the death with you for my son."
Lea shrugged, finally getting this topic over and done with. 
Gu Mengmeng scooped a large piece of meat for Elvis, "You took care of the five of us for a whole day but I didn't see you eat anything. It was probably hard on you during my pregnancy, you're tired, aren't you?"
Elvis did not reject, because winter was indeed going to be over, and the food kept in the cave was sufficient for them to consume until the prey comes out during the wet season. 
To prevent food wastage, Elvis chewed the bones with pieces before swallowing whole, because he realized that cooked bones were much easier to digest than raw bones. Rather than throwing away which is a pity, he would consume it. So, he had often secretly picked up the leftover bones Gu Mengmeng had chewed on and ate them, trying to save as much food for Gu Mengmeng as possible. 
Gu Mengmeng had already gotten used to Elvis' habit of not spitting out his bones after eating them, so she usually picked the meat with fewer bones for him, fearing that he might get indigestion and form a stone or something. 
Elvis swallowed his food, pecking Gu Mengmeng on the cheek, "How can I be considered to be suffering compared to what you have gone through?"
Gu Mengmeng smiled, feeling very warm inside. 
She had an older sister who had a white-collar job in a company before her wedding, with a salary slightly lower than ten thousand, feeling very confident wherever she went. However, she got pregnant shortly after her marriage and her husband wanted to take care of the baby at home, which she agreed to. However, once she quit her job, it was not easy to go back to work. Waiting for labor while being pregnant, waiting for the child to go to preschool after giving birth, waiting for the child to go to primary school after preschool. However, her husband cheated on her even before the child went to primary school because he had enough of the ruckus the child made and the complaints the wife had. He still asked his wife, "Which man is willing to go back home every day to look at a faded old woman?"
Her older sister said, how could he not consider the ties between husband and wife? After all, she had given birth for him. 
However, the man gave a snort of contempt, replying with a question, "Which woman can't give birth? It has originally been your duty."
That time, the older sister carried the child out and chugged beer after beer, crying to Gu Mengmeng: I'm not afraid to suffer with him, to suffer for him, I'm afraid that he can't see everything I have done. I never wanted to live in luxury, I just wanted some words of comfort. 


Going for a swim, she ends up in an ancient wild Beast World and ends up being brought home by a handsome wolf.
She wants to stick to the handsome wolf, stock some salt, farm some land, look at some handsome men and grow old like that, but the handsome wolf pounces on her every day.
What? He wants her to have babies?
NO~ NO~ NO~ There is no happy ending to interspecies marriages, hurry and let go of me handsome wolf~

I'm not sure why I hadn't thought of this earlier as most my stories are basically Fantasy with a capital F so let me get right into it. What separates 'Fantasy' from 'Contemporary' works isn't just where it's set but also the level of contrivances that are allowed.

As I've said before, every story allows a certain level of contrived scenarios where Destiny and Fate are actually a thing. Fantasy stories in particular work best when you go all in on your imagination.

I know you all have had it drilled into your brains that a certain level of 'realism' is needed even in a fantasy story. However, what most mean by that isn't adding the laws of physics to your story but keeping it internally consistent with clear laws and limits.

I'm pretty sure you guys don't need a rundown in how society works because fantasy societies work the same way expect they have the word 'Magic' added to them. Do NOT rip off Elves and Dwarves from the Lord of the Rings and flex the creative muscles in your brain a little. There's no limit to the kind of magical races you can make in a Fantasy!

This also applies to magic. However, people only remember limitations more than what a persons using Magic System can generally do since 'magic is omnipotent unless proven otherwise'. There will be no narrative stakes or tension if you can't even make sure random nobodies aren't shooting off nukes and your main character isn't invincible beyond measure.

There are people who tend to overthink about how to write Fantasy since it's such a popular genre everyone and their dog is writing. You don't need someone else's guideline to write a Fantasy since most good Author's base them out of existing literature of the past or modern ones they are retelling using their own tropes and characters.

You'll never get anywhere if you need someone else to flex your creativity when looking into the past brings forth many mystical stories and myths that all wouldn't be possible without a little bit of magic sprinkled onto them. The classic LitRPG genre with stuff like Guilds and Adventures is popular to use nowadays but only because you don't have to explain much in a story that's so easy to figure out.

If you're going to use the LitRPG setting with dungeons and dragons, make sure you make it character driven and focus on people rather than explaining how fireballs work. The only reason Slime Reincarnation (That Time I Reincarnating As A Slime) or Sword Dad (I Was A Sword When I Reincarnated) are so popular is because behind the Power Fantasy are well-written and diverse characters.

If you want to write your own Fantasy World unique to only you, then it's best to start researching ways to ground it with your audience. These days people want to read about 'people' more than someone dumping lore about a fictional world they don't care about. Even pure Fantasy stories needs a protagonist that can be the reader's eyes and ears.

Now, thanks to the Isekai Boom, you may think that a main character HAS to be reincarnated for basically no reason whatsoever. However, that is ill-advised as people reincarnated for trivial reasons bore the audience to death. There's this Fantasy story about this non-reincarnated girl who was raised by Death himself in a regular medieval magic world, causing her to be a mix of creepy and cute all at the same time. This is an example of the kind of plots which are interesting BECAUSE their MC is a member of this world but special rather than some random guy from Earth who just so happens to be Isekai'd.

Isekai can be done right when the main character's rebirth or transportation into this world holds some sort of meaning. However, it can turn into a very boring story with maybe one or two gimmicks if you aren't even thinking of an ending for it.

Getting back to the main point: You seriously won't be able to write a Fantasy properly unless you at least know something about characters (If you haven't already figured that out already).

How the life of this character, under the special upbringing that only those of your Fantasy World go through, is interesting to the reader depends of where you take the tropes of your regular Fantasy.

You can go the 'Epic Fantasy' route, then copying the Hero's Journey is fine as long as you switch it up a bit. As long as you understand the fundamentals of a Hero's Journey and not look at it as the ONLY WAY TO TELL A STORY then you're on the right track.

Those who are wondering what a Hero's Journey is can find the link at the bottom. Also try searching for Dan Harmon's Story Circle for a more character driven version of it on YouTube. Anyway, this trope is basically the origin of the whole 'Chosen One' trope.

As for what I meant by Epic Fantasy, it is actually quite beloved type of story for many who love the Fantasy genre. It could be about the journey about a chosen one destined to defeat a Big Baddy like Eragon, Lord of the Rings, etc. There are even shorter and more simplified versions of this which is basically where the 'Hero Vs Demon King' trope came from. As long as there's a quest fraught with danger then people would love to read about a chosen one being able to win against their foes.

Another route you can take is Dark Fantasy, where all the lovely tales of HP Lovecraft comes from. His stories may lean more on the spectrum of supernatural tales about Dark Gods and Cults but the way everything seems to be ripped out of a nightmare is what I'm trying to focus on. If a regular Fantasy is like a dream then a Dark Fantasy is one you'd rather avoid since the world is screwed up.

And I don't mean the characters are screwed up or insane by any means, I literally mean either the Magic System or how society works is genuinely screwed up. Read 'Dungeon Seeker' as an example of this (Warning: Don't read it if you don't want to pollute your innocent mind with all the corruption in this story). Either way, it could be the Magic System relies on the blood of orphans, or it could be you have to kill a loved every time you cast a spell. The main point is that this Fantasy World is just hell.

Now, I could move on to Urban Fantasy and other sub-genres, but that would be wasting my time and yours since TV Tropes exists for a reason. Just remember what I've said and have a clear goal in beginning and end planned for your character's development and you'll be fine. There's nothing better than a story that's focused after all.

This is a story I worked on ages ago that has been refined and edited by adding foreshadowing to events while also simplifying the power system better than before. This story can be considered a prequel to An Adventure Beyond Greatness as it takes place years prior to the events of that story.

Short Synopsis:
After retiring from the battlefield, my life became empty and lifeless. The regrets of my past haunt me in my sleep. Then a change occurred, a King from another world summoned me to fight for his kingdom, but I died even before I could give him my answer. Now, after a fake God allowed me to reincarnate (albeit imperfectly) with my memories intact, into a world filled with magic and swords.

Long Synopsis:
This is about a flawed protagonist who only knew to rely on others and not socialise who gets a second chance to change himself in order to live the life he aimed for in his past life. The narrator isn’t exactly trustworthy since it is purely in his bias perspective while other perspectives given by others fill in the blanks that he either leaves out or twists to suit the situation.

The story itself can be considered a parody of Isekai’s classic tropes which are given a sense of reality as time goes by. As there exists no ‘Demon Lord’, there is also no black and white, only characters opinions and counter-opinions throughout the story.

In 2018, I came to Canada on January 2nd and it had been two days before the winter semester started. The reason why I came to Canada was to study English, so I took the language training program named "ELP" in the University of Winnipeg.

Let me introduce myself first. I have a hobby of making videos. I prefer to take videos rather than photos. Since I came to Canada, I have taken videos with my friends and I posted them on Youtube. The other personal trait is that I have no confidence in speaking to someone, especially to girls. It is hard for me to start a conversation with someone. Scrolling through Facebook, Twitter, IG, YouTube. That's my everyday life. I rarely go out and I don't socialize that much with other persons, in short I am introvert. I work as a call center agent meaning I get to talk to a lot of customers over the phone, yup I'm introvert but I'm really doing well and this is the best practice for me.


Laying down in my bed scrolling through IG, I tried searching for some Thai idols or artist (btw I am so obsessed with BL series so most of the artist i tend to follow on IG are ones who act in the series I've watched and interested to), I follow tap follow one after another.


*Ding* notification sound and it's from IG. I hurried and check what it is "Haii S (@haii) has requested to follow you. ", It's a thai name, I checked the profile of the person since it seems the name is familiar but really can't recall. "Gash" I murmured and chuckled, who would've thought that a public figure will follow me on IG? I am so excited. "I know this person! He is part of the cast of TTTS S2." I said to myself still feeling excited. I checked if he also followed other fans, yes he does but he only followed few of them. Like why? How? As far as I know if you want to follow someone on IG it's either their profile shows on the suggested persons or you go to their profile (take note! My account is private so if you follow me you have to actually send a request) like really why? Am I just imagining things? I accepted the request, once done I visited my own profile and checked the persons who followed me and tadaaa~ he is one of them. I am so happy, I feel so excited, he is the first celebrity who followed me on social media!


That person don't update or post pictures everyday to his timeline but he updates his stories. I always watch his stories always. 


"You're so cute P, fighting! Will support you always" I replied to one of his stories. No reply, not even sure if he sees it. He has a lot of fans for sure that messages him every time and I am just one of those fans. 


Day by day, whenever I see his stories or whenever he upload pictures ai either leave a comment or reply to it (not all actually, I'm not that shameless you know?) 


*Months, weeks and days passed*

My life is pretty much the same. *Ding* I got notification again on IG, someone replied to my DMs "Thank you". My heart almost dropped, yes I know that it's just 'thank you' but if someone popular replied to your messages, won't you feel so happy? 


"No problem P, How are you? Are you tired P? Get some rest" I replied to that person (I'm acting so composed but in reality I. AM. NOT. I feel so happy, really). I stare at it for a while and close the App, I know he won't reply again. 


*ding*

"Tired but I'm fine, thank you" while reading this my heart just dropped, it literally did. 

"I see, get some rest P. Su su na kha 💙" I replied 

He just 'liked' the reply I sent. It doesn't matter since he replied to my DMs so I'm all good and happy. I was so happy that night that I didn't notice the time and it's already morning.


Many days have passed and he never replied to any of my DMs again, maybe he is just busy? I don't know but I won't stop pestering him, he has a lot of fans who do that to him too and i'm sure he also ignores them the way he does to me.

"haii liked your post" I almost shout but i giggled instead someone's still sleeping. That was the biggest improvement for how many days have passed. I was so happy and feels so good but I don't know if there will be next time or that will be the first and last time that he will like my post.
