Hi guys, this an idea, if you want to write this story just comment and tell me. I could give you some feedback or tips.

These are some plots I think of that I would love to see someone develop or let me know if they have seen a ‘good’ presentation of it!

The next day, a crowd of Black Stars all wearing suits and some other curious rumourmongers, including the entertainment news media, flocked together near the conference centre. The Black Stars waved huge banners of their Boss Iris in support of her.

Police officers prevented them from getting anywhere near the entrance. At first, the officers were alarmed by the group of suits-wearing people. They thought that a triad group had come to terrorize the international business conference. 

Fortunately, the Black Stars quickly explained that they were fans of the celebrity turned interpreter Iris Long, and that they usually wore suits to support her. Only when the police verified this information that the Black Stars were allowed to stay.

The entertainment news media tried to get media passes, but the officials of the international business conference rejected their requests. Only approved business-related media outlets were allowed inside. So the entertainment news correspondents had to make do in standing and waiting outside with the rest of the Black Stars and rumourmongers.

Thankfully, the police didn't drive them away. As long as they didn't get too rowdy, didn't create trouble or danger to the arriving delegates, and stayed at the spot the police indicated, they were allowed to stay. The police, however, tightly monitored them and kept them under control.

When the arriving delegates saw the crowd outside, their vehicles all slowed down in curiosity. Seeing the banners, the Chinese delegates immediately knew that the people came for Iris Long.

The foreign delegates had no idea what was going on. They thought that the people were protesters against the international business conference. Protests were not unheard of at important international events like this.

It was only when they were informed that the crowd came for the beautiful interpreter from yesterday that they were once again amazed. They heard from their Chinese counterparts that Iris Long was a celebrity, but it only hit them now seeing her fans and the media gathered outside for her.

Finally, a car stopped in front of the crowd. The rear window opened and Iris stuck her head out.

Loud screams and shrieks sounded as she waved at the crowd. The Black Stars waved their banners and jumped up and down in excitement while squealing.

"Kyaaaaah! Boss Iris, we love you so much!"

"You're so beautiful, Boss Iris! You're amazing!"

"Please do your best on interpreting today at the conference! We can't wait to hear more about your awesomeness!"

"Say something in French, please!!! In English too!!! So cool, boss!!!"

All the cameras were pointed at her, snapping photos and filming, while the entertainment news correspondents shouted questions.

"Iris Long, are you planning to leave showbiz and work as an interpreter instead?"

"How did you manage to become appointed as an official interpreter of the international business conference? Did your future grandfather-in-law, Sir Lu Jianhong, used his connections to get you this position?"

"You know English and French. What other languages do you know?"

The media people were starting to get disorderly, so the police officers immediately went on high alert and formed a tight encirclement around them. 

Having the view of their boss partially obstructed by the police, the Black Stars glared at the media. Some of them even started arguing with the paparazzi. Fortunately, the acting leader quickly calmed her fellow Black Stars. She instructed them to form a separate group from the media. They distanced themselves to make it clear to the police that they intended to follow the rules unlike the media who were starting to get out of hand.

"I'm sorry, everyone! I can't greet you properly right now. I have to go inside because I'm going to be late otherwise," Iris said from inside the car. "Thank you for coming! Please don't stay out under the sun for too long. It's very hot! Take care!"

"Please don't mind us, Boss Iris! Hurry up and go inside! We don't want to get you into trouble!"

"Don't worry about us, boss! We just wanted to see you today! Now that we've seen you, we're already happy!"

Iris gave them a blinding smile. "Thank you very much, everyone! I'll work hard today!" She blew them a kiss before the window closed up and the car drove away.

"Uwah! I caught her kiss! I caught it!" A young female Black Star grabbed the imaginary kiss from the air and pressed it against her chest.

"No way! I was the one who caught it!"

Some of the police officers looked at the ridiculous argument between the fans in amusement. They started to relax when Iris was gone. However, they still kept a close watch on the crowd, especially the entertainment news media. Their kind, especially the paparazzi, were known to sneak inside without authorization just to document any juicy story.

The media were very unsatisfied that Iris left without answering even just one question from them. But they couldn't do anything about it. Only business news correspondents were allowed inside.

Later, the second day of the international business conference officially started.

Iris attended the China-Malaysia conference in the morning as the official interpreter. Jin Corporation and Long Industries were also present.

It wasn't like the opening ceremony and the China-France conference yesterday where she did consecutive interpretation, which was speaking after a speaker paused. 

This time, the delegates requested for her to do a simultaneous interpretation instead. It meant that she had to translate while the speaker was still speaking. Her voice would be transmitted through headphones the delegates had to wear.

It was more comfortable for the speakers, especially the ones doing presentations, because they could talk without any interruptions. Simultaneous interpretations were also ideal for conferences like this for a more natural flow. 

However, this method put a lot of strain on interpreters. Even though Iris insisted that she could do it for the entire duration of the conference, her two professors rejected the idea. They warned her that there were documented interpreters who collapsed because they did simultaneous interpretations for more than an hour without rest. 

It was actually very dangerous. As a result, Iris and Professor Hisakawa would take turns interpreting every thirty minutes for this conference.

Finally, the China-Malaysia business conference began. Iris and Professor Hisakawa sat together at their designated seats. She brought a tablet and a stylus for taking notes while Professor Hisakawa had a notebook and a pen.

The Malaysian language was something that she only recently learned, so she wasn't as confident in using it compared to the languages she already knew in her past life. Fortunately, she had a talent in acquiring languages easily.

She interpreted in both Mandarin and Malaysian, taking turns with Professor Hisakawa throughout the entire conference.

There were Chinese Malaysian delegates in attendance, but they still needed an interpreter because of the differences in Standard Mandarin and Malaysian Mandarin.

Because Iris wasn't very used to the Malaysian language, she encountered some difficulties while interpreting. Whether it was not so accurate translations or taking a couple seconds longer to provide the interpretation, things didn't go as smoothly as yesterday.

After the conference, Iris sat back in her chair and released a big sigh. She also gulped water to soothe her throat.

"That was challenging," she whispered.

"Indeed," Professor Hisakawa replied. Then he looked at his notes. "Although the delegates think that you did well, your performance this morning is not up to Cross Academy standards. You made too many less than ideal translations and the hesitations are painful to listen to. This level is not much better than average interpreters. You get a C- from me for this conference. You need to improve on your Malay. Always aim for an A+."

"I understand, Professor."

"You noticed the difference between your performance and mine, right? Learn from how I interpreted and improve your own techniques."

"Yes, Professor. I will."

Iris felt disappointed in herself for her less than stellar performance. She was determined to do better next time.

Lunch time. 

She didn't speak much during this time to rest her vocal cords. She ate with the two professors and then reviewed for the next conference in the afternoon.

When she heard that there were still some Black Stars waiting for her outside, she became alarmed. It was a hot summer day. She asked someone to order some food and drinks for them and to encourage them to find some shade under the blazing sun. And even though she didn't have very good feelings for the entertainment news media and the rumourmongers, she also instructed to give them food and drinks just because it was too hot outside.

The Black Stars were very touched by her thoughtfulness. Even the media felt more inclined to write good things about her because of the food.

After lunch, it was time for the China-Japan conference.

Just like in the morning, the delegates requested for a simultaneous interpretation. Iris and Professor Hisakawa would take turns once again every thirty minutes or so.

Iris felt more confident about her Japanese language skills. During her past life as Evelina, she was actually more fluent in it than Mandarin.

When Jin Liwei stepped on the stage for his presentation, her interpretation was on point. The two actually rehearsed together before. She had memorized his entire presentation and of course her interpretation for it as well. This was the only time that Professor Hisakawa allowed her to interpret the whole way.

Iris also couldn't help but smile stupidly while watching her darling during his presentation. He looked so handsome that she almost ran to the stage to hug him.

"Concentrate!" Professor Hisakawa rebuked her when her voice started sounding giggly.

It instantly brought her back to earth. She blushed a little before clearing her head from anything besides her job as an interpreter.

"Good." Professor Hisakawa nodded when he saw that she returned to a focused state.

He would've given full marks to her performance in this China-Japan conference if it wasn't for this brief attention lapse.

'Oh well. She's a woman in love,' was all he could say to himself.

Finally, the China-Japan conference ended, and so did the second day of the international business conference.

Firstly, it was because the Galaxy Supernova Award was the real deal. Fang Zhao was the only person from Yanzhou among the winners—and he was only in his 20s. He had tremendous potential. The prize cemented Fang Zhao's transition from an entertainment celebrity to a genuine artist.

He wanted to see if his friends thought his new outfit was artistic enough. Should he get a new hairdo too?
In Huangzhou, after completing his second lecture, Fang Zhao had a huge backlog of messages to go through.
First, Fang Zhao read the email from the Galaxy Awards organizing committee and confirmed that it was a notification of his win. The email also asked Fang Zhao to respond with his address. The invitation to the prize ceremony would be delivered within 12 hours of organizers receiving his address.
After responding with the address of his dorm room at HuangArt, Fang Zhao responded to some of the other messages. While he was doing so, he got a call from Huangcheng TV's Channel Nine.
Huangcheng TV's programming wasn't heavy on commercial and entertainment content, and its Channel Nine specialized in high-brow documentaries. A small portion of its best work ended up in government archives and labeled with a golden sticker. 
Channel Nine was making a documentary about the curing of the Hull virus. It was a gold-sticker production.
As the composer of the music that paved the way for a cure to the Hull virus, Fang Zhao was naturally one of the key interviewees.
"We've already dispatched a team to shoot in Yanzhou. We're wondering when would be a good time for Mr. Fang? It's just going to be a straightforward interview and some additional filming. Half an hour will suffice. We'll also film you going about your day, but our cameraman won't be intrusive," the producer from Channel Nine said.
Crews had already been dispatched to all 12 continents. There were people involved in the project to cure the Hull virus on every single continent who needed to be filmed, but the team sent to Yanzhou had a heavier workload. When Fang Zhao had composed the "100-Year Period of Destruction" series, he had been working for an entertainment company in Yanzhou. The Yanzhou crew also had to film Fang Zhao's fellow team members who had helped create the virtual idol Polar Light.
"No problem," Fang Zhao said.
"Then when might you be free, Mr. Fang? Let's set up a time. We can conduct the interview at HuangArt. We'll send our team over."
"How about tomorrow at 4 p.m.? I have class in the morning and a one-hour lecture in the afternoon that's being broadcast live. The lecture ends at 3:30. I can start filming at 4."
"Great, let's make it tomorrow at 4 p.m., then."
After making the appointment with Channel Nine, Fang Zhao called Nanfeng to brief him so he could start getting ready.
Already ecstatic about Fang Zhao's Supernova win, when Nanfeng learned about the Channel Nine interview, he profusely promised his boss that he would be on his best behavior and not reflect poorly on Fang Zhao.

Yanzhou's entertainment media put its ability to judge where the winds were blowing and to bullsh*t accordingly on full display. Once word that Fang Zhao had won a Galaxy Supernova award got out, they started putting him on a pedestal. Most of the viewers for the final lecture were from Yanzhou, folks who were curious and eager to witness the spectacle.
The 10 winners of the Supernova prize hailed from nine of the world's 12 continents. There were two winners from Huangzhou.
Media outlets from those nine continents went all out in their self-promotion, eager not to be outdone by their competitors.
The comments section for Fang Zhao's live webcast was flooded with congratulatory messages, but Fang Zhao didn't study them carefully. Instead, he completed his lecture series according to his lesson plan before smiling at the camera and thanking viewers for their good wishes.
After going offline, Fang Zhao got a video call from Xue Jing.
"Fang Zhao, have you received your invitation to the awards ceremony?" asked Xue Jing.
"I have. It was delivered to my dorm room last night," said Fang Zhao.
"Good. Remember to be humble when you attend the presentation ceremony. You carried yourself well during today's lecture. Keep it up."
Xue Jing was worried, having read all the inflated coverage by the shameless media. He was concerned that Fang Zhao might be swayed and get a swollen head. He figured if he had won the Supernova at such a young age, he would have felt like he was God. Many senior artists who had won Galaxy awards in the past would be attending the presentation ceremony, and Xue Jing didn't want Fang Zhao to leave a bad impression.
Fang Zhao knew what Xue Jing was thinking. He was about to respond when an alert popped up on his bracelet and caught his attention.
"Teacher Xue..." Fang Zhao said.
"Listen to me, don't dress like a rock star at the awards ceremony. Just pick something simple and elegant."
"I understand. Teacher Xue, I wanted to..."
"I'm not done yet. Listen, kid. The venue will be filled with senior artists. Regardless of whether they are award winners, their presence means they have made significant contributions and racked up accomplishments in their respective fields. Watch your behavior before them," Xue Jing continued.
"I understand, Teacher Xue..."
"Let me finish first!" Xue Jing scolded before realizing he might have been too harsh. He paused and asked, "What was it you wanted to say?"
"Teacher Xue, you've won the Galaxy World Medal. It was announced two minutes ago," Fang Zhao said. 
The Galaxy World Medal wasn't awarded every year. It wasn't uncommon for there to be a three- to five-year gap between winners.
The reason that Xue Jing worked so hard at his age to accumulate even more accomplishments and make greater contributions to his field was to win a Galaxy World Medal, which was the pinnacle of any artist's career.
Judging simply from how many outstanding pieces he had and his influence as a composer, Xue Jing paled in comparison to musicians like Mo Lang. In contrast, his range was also limited. There were other competent composers who specialized in the same genre. He fell just short in terms of artistic achievement. But all these years, he had kept toiling away. 
Xue Jing applied for a Galaxy World Medal every three years. He had applied this year as well. That was why he wasn't a member of the organizing committee for this year's Galaxy Awards and hadn't joined the selection panel for the Supernova award. 
News had not been forthcoming, so Xue Jing figured he had been passed on again. Little did he know...
Xue Jing froze when he heard what Fang Zhao had said.
Xue Jing's assistant looked on with concern. He had just received official word of the prize, but Xue Jing was on the phone with Fang Zhao, so he hadn't interrupted.
The assistant handed him a glass of warm water. "Venerable Xue, calm down! Have a sip of water first!"
Xue Jing's eye gradually focused on the glass. He accepted it, but his hands kept shivering. The glass was only half full. By the time it had reached his mouth, another half had been lost to the trembling.
He also accidentally hung up on Fang Zhao at some point.
When Fang Zhao called back, it was Xue Jing's assistant who answered.
"Venerable Xue is just in shock. He needs some time to recover," the assistant said as he cast a glance at his boss, still paralyzed in his chair.
"Good to know." Fang Zhao had been worried that Xue Jing was so emotional he had collapsed or something.
Nanfeng was already waiting when Fang Zhao emerged from the classroom.
"Boss, the folks from Channel Nine are here."
The crew from Channel Nine was standing by. The venue for the interview was a quiet park within the HuangArt campus. The questions posed to Fang Zhao weren't as pointed as the ones he had learned to expect from entertainment journalists; they mainly revolved around his creative process and the Hull virus.
Fang Zhao answered in detail.
A giddy Nanfeng delivered tea to his boss and the interviewer.
After the interview, most of the crew left. "If we need additional footage, we'll reach out ahead of time. Does that work for you, Mr. Fang?" the producer asked.
"No problem." Fang Zhao was willing to work with the crew on minor details like that.
One cameraman remained to tail Fang Zhao and shoot him as he went about his daily routine.
"Fang Zhao, just go about your business as usual. Pretend that I don't exist. If you think something is off-limits, just let me know."
The cameraman followed Fang Zhao back to his dorm room. The first thing he noticed was the Fiery Bird gaming helmet.
To prepare for the Channel Nine shoot, Nanfeng had wiped many of Fang Zhao's personal items repeatedly, especially the gaming helmet.
"Wow! Fiery Bird's limited-edition souped-up eighth-gen gaming helmet! It's no longer available for sale!" The cameraman was a Fiery Bird fan as well. His gaze became fixated on the helmet.
"Nowadays, only celebrities like you who work with Fiery Bird can get one. Can I take a look?" the cameraman asked, looking at Fang Zhao expectantly.
"Of course," Fang Zhao said, nodding.
"Can I take a picture of it?"
"Sure."
"Thanks so much! Oh, Mr. Fang, just do your own thing. I've set up the camera already. It will follow you automatically. I'm just going to sit here and not interrupt your work."
The cameraman cradled the gaming helmet like a baby. He was giddily taking a selfie with it when he felt something was off. He scanned the room and his gaze met that of the curly-haired dog lying next to Fang Zhao's feet.
"That dog is looking at me. I feel like it wants to bite me," the cameraman whispered to Nanfeng.
Nanfeng, who had been pondering what to wear to the Galaxy Awards presentation ceremony, glanced at Curly Hair and said, "Little Curly Hair is such a good boy. Why would you think that?"
"No, I really think it has something against me. Look, it's still staring at me."
"Why don't you switch places?" Nanfeng suggested.
The cameraman broke his promise of sitting still and moved to another chair, still cradling the gaming helmet. Yet Curly Hair's gaze lingered.
The cameraman poked Nanfeng and whispered, "It's staring at me again."
Curly Hair kept on staring, snorting every few minutes or so. 
The cameraman panicked. What did I do wrong? Why do you keep staring at me?

"What are you waitng for Anna?"

Meng Yiling sneered but Anna ignore her and started her presentation. "We are going gradually down in the market which is like you probably know, a pretty bad thing."

The audience laughed, well of course Meng Yiling didn't find that funny. She knew that if she wanted to be the Ceo, she will have to make Anna nervous and fail. "How do you plan to change that fact? By humor?"

Anna smiled to her "Thank for the question Miss Yiling. You should know that humor is something great to appease the cold ambiance in our company." Everyone who worked with Anna would agree with that. Her meeting were always energetic and calm but professional and useful. "Anyway, to recover from the loss, we should fisrt of all, lower our production cost. Our materials are way too much expensive."

The people nodded in agreement but as always Meng Yiling had a long face. "But we search quality. The material may be expensive but their quality is high."

One person from resource departement raised the voice "Actually, they aren't. We studied the wood and tissue that we used. It could fragment easily. Our product are now lower qualified than before."

Whispers were heard. Everyone knew that it was Meng Yiling that chose the new materials. One asked a question. "So, we lowered our prices because our wood is expensive?"

Anna coughed to get the attention back to her. "It's not only the wood but all the materials. Also the market of the furniture is going down slowly. We don't have any other branch execpt entertainment in our company."

Meng Yiling crossed her and yawn "So?"

Anna sighed "Well, if we could add a branch in the technology, it would help."

Meng Yiling grinned as she thought that she found a enormous mistake in Anna's idea "Didn't we already buy small companies ?"

Anna nodded "We did but we didn't give enough budget for them to get succesful. It would help us make profit if we could change the budget plan. Since our materials are poor in quality and way to much expensive, we could take that money invaste it."

All looks were now on Meng Yiling. They related the loss to her, she was the one to ask for these materials and the one to dp the budget plan. The old Ceo Wu was listening quietly to Anna presentation. Until now, he would have chose Meng Yiling but knowing now that the loss of money was made by her he was quite reculant.

The audience clapped their hands and one commented her presentation "Wow, that was a great presentation better than Miss Yiling's one. I hope you could work as our Ceo and somehow close the deal with the Chen Enterprise."

'That's gonna be a piece of cake.' Anna thought innerly. She smiled to the guy and nodded in agreement.

Meng Yiling laughed "Will see next time if you can still do better than me!"

The old CEO Wu slapped the table "With your arrogant attitudes, I don't think there'll be a next time. You won't be Ceo Meng Yiling, not in the Moonlight Company!"

Su Anna ran away from her evil stepmother and stepsister. Later on, she was cheates on and found herself in Paris with and handsome Ceo.

I almost got blinded by the sudden brightness of the screen. One by one, the list of choices of foods appeared. There are even dozens of filters to select to narrow down the food that you want to eat from breakfast meals right until midnight snacks.

Bert ordered a bunch of dishes and a bucket size soda right away. Assuming Bert would pay for it, I ordered some dishes I saw on the internet like that Wagyu steak and also a bucket size mountain dew.

Five minutes into ordering, someone came knocking on the door. It was the catering crew and one by one they entered with trays of food and literally two bucket size drinks. 

"How much did you pay for this really?" (Raven)

"I don't know. Let me check." (Bert)

Bert unlocked his tablet and showed me the balance. The estimated amount is about two hundred thousand gold coins. The last transaction amounted fifty thousand gold coins.

"How did you get this large amount of money?" (Raven)

"Well, if you check your tablet too, we have thirty thousand gold coins of balance each at the start. Remember that I told you about the Gladiators fighting on the screen, I gambled on three matches and won. Here let me show you. 'Screen:Arena Mode." (Bert)

List of matches appeared on the screen. Bert explained that they are having a hundred arena battles per day. There is only three chances per day that you can bet on matches and he won three times.

"The other way to earn gold coins here is to join the arena battles. I almost tried it before but Richard suggested to do it another time since he wants to tell us the rules and regulations around here. Plus, we need to get you a Gladiator avatar too so you can join in the fun." (Bert)

"So we are waiting for this Butler guy. Then why the heck did you choose me? I don't have any other fighting skills so I can't help you with that." (Raven)

"Reason huh? Well, you are my best friend after all. I trust you, and I got the feeling I need reliable allies for me to be successful. That's what I saw on an interview for motivational speakers hehe. Look dude, I told you, we have a chance to get rich here. Remember the money I gave you, it came from here. I exchanged two hundred gold coins for real world money and that became a hundred thousand dollars." (Bert)

"Really? That's awesome." (Raven)

I have thirty thousand gold coins and converted that's going to be fifteen million. That's a lot of money. Bert is right. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

We waited for almost an hour before someone  knocked on the door again. This time, it was not human when Raven opened the door. Richard The Butler is a ghost  wearing butler suit and the only thing that stopped me from freaking out is the name tag he is wearing.

"Apologies for disturbing your meal gentlemen. May I come in please?" (Richard)

Bert yeah joyfully and let the ghost in. 

"I don't want to waste your time since I can feel that Master Robert wanted to go the arena as soon as possible. As you know you did not get to participate the Grand Coliseum through normal means so technically you are an outsider. I already made up a video presentation of what you need to know before going in. Please do your best not to ask your questions during the presentation and save it until after in which I will answer to my utmost abilities. Enjoy tonight's entertainment. The video started off a little too old for my taste with the cinema countdown. It is a twenty minute video presentation full of what we can expect moving on. In my head, I just summarize the important parts.

No. 1: The Grand Coliseum is the host for every kind of species for the whole universe. So it's basically Vegas and the whole universe is the customer. They are also a Bounty Hunter organization. I have to look up the specific details later.

No. 2: Everything in the Grand Coliseum can be bought and always will be negotiable by gold coins. 

No. 3: Cheating is extremely forbidden and will result to immediate punishment. Immediate punishment equals to being excommunicated and will receive a hundred lashes using a god whip. Customers may die in the process.

No. 4: Only customers with an official tablet can enter and exit the premises and also enjoy the benefits the establishment provides.

No. 5: The Grand Coliseum will provide a viewing gallery for customers to use. Customers must pay a hundred gold coins each for the extended use of the room. Failure to pay will result to punishments all leading up to excommunication.

No. 6: Evey customer must participate into Arena Battles at least three times and Expedition once every month using their Gladiator avatars. Failure to participate will result to punishments all leading up to excommunication.

No. 7: There is a rule for every customer not to publicize the identity of the Grand Coliseum unless the customer will sign an agreement that they will need to buy a tablet for each individual with whom they are going to share the information.

No. 8: Every other details and updates are available on the tablet.

It's like discovering a powerful genie but instead of three wishes, you can have unlimited wishes as long as you can pay gold coins.

"What if you can't provide what the customer wanted, impossible things like bringing a person back from the dead or make someone fall in love with you, what would you then?" (Bert)

That's right. There are simply things that is impossible to provide. However, discovering this huge game, I don't know what's the limit of being impossible.

Richard The Butler was stunned for a moment before laughing crazily as if heard the biggest joke of the year.

In a place where you can buy your wildest dreams and turn it into reality, how much would you sacrifice?

Raven Claude will have to figure out and choose whether to face reality or start a new life savoring the glory fighting in the Grand Coliseum.
