Liya and Jacob were having their breakfast.

"Mommy can we go buy more books?" Jacob asked after while putting down his mug he just drank milk from.

Liya wiped his lips with a napkin, "Sure sweetie. We'll go to the university bookstore after lunch, okay?"

By this time, Liya was already used to Jacob's unusually fast learning. He would ask her to buy more books every now and then that his room was getting cramped from all the books he's finished.

"Baby, what do you say we donate the books you're done with to the university students?"

"Okay Mommy. I want to come with you!" Jacob said with sparkling eyes.

Liya giggled and pinched his cheek. "But not today. We have to ask for permission first."

Liya drove off Jacob to preschool after breakfast. She didn't go to the gym today because she planned to buy the latest gadgets for her son. He was quickly learning new things and she thought he now needed his own desktop computer and laptop, cellphone, and a new tablet. The tablet Jacob uses was an old one and right just in time, a new model of tablet was recently released.

She was checking out a display of the tablet when she recognized someone currently exiting the store who, by the looks of it, was just done buying.

She left her spot, ran up to the person and grabbed his arm. "Ghost." Liya said, her voice almost a whisper.

The person who was initially confused instantly panicked, but his eyes showed a dangerous glint.

"I don't mean any harm." She shook her head, trying to make him understand that her intentions were not evil.

The person was still tensed so she introduced herself. "My name is Liya Fain, sister of Liem Fain, CEO of Fain Group. I'm also a major shareholder of 3LG. If that's not enough--"

"Okay, Liya Fain, if that's even really your name, how do you know me?" He asked, relaxing a bit, but still had his guard up.

Well shit. What does she say now? She just grabbed him without even thinking!

"Let's find a place to sit down first and then we can chat, okay?"

He squinted his eyes but nonetheless agreed.

Liya led him to a common family restaurant to make him feel less threatened. The more people surrounding them, the more he'd feel at ease.

They only ordered coffee, just not to be rude to the waitress. They just stared at each other, waiting for the waitress to arrive with their coffee and leave them alone, so they can finally start their talk.

The man was beautiful. His face had hints of feminine but his overall image was manly. Not as manly as Gabe or Axel, but still built. She internally blushed when she thought of Axel.

Not long after…

"So, Miss Liya Fain, what do you know?"  He asked while staring directly at her eyes.

"Anton Gauer, online alias Ghost. Both parents are German. You moved here with your mother after the divorce." Liya answered, observing his reaction. And like she expected, he tensed up.

"I can't tell you how I got to know you and these things, and I might seem suspicious and untrustworthy. But trust me on one thing. Your lover is a cheater. Don't reveal your identity." She told him cautiously. She waited for him to talk, but it looked like he had no intentions of responding so she got up and walked away.

Anton Gauer was a very popular and notorious hacker. Of course, nobody knew who he was, people only knew him by his codename Ghost.

The public branded him a hero, but the authorities regarded him a criminal. Ghost spent his free time exposing illegal behind-the-scene activities by prominent companies, injustice caused by bribed lawyers and judges, and many more.

The list of people he offended included high-ranking officials and rich tycoons, a hell lot of them. They put a bounty for Ghost's identity in the black market but none was successful.

None, until his lover betrayed him and died clueless. Liya learned of his identity the day he was found dead. Apparently, Anton Gauer, famously known for his online alias Ghost, was killed in a hit-and-run. A premeditated plan by an organization he ruthlessly ruined by exposing their dirty deeds.

One question remained unanswered. How were they able to identify him? He was, afterall, one of the best.

It remained a mystery until a year later, when a rookie, but still an exceptional one who claimed to be a fan of Ghost, exposed what really transpired. Anton revealed his identity to his long-time lover from highschool, but the partner he's been with through most of his life rat him off to the people he's offended. It turned out Anton's lover has been cheating all this time and has been wanting to get rid of him, and Anton's revelation was the perfect opportunity.

Anton was a very remarkable hacker. He'd seen and known almost everything about almost everyone, but he never once doubted and intruded on his lover's privacy. Anton's story struck the hearts of many people, Liya included. But as ironic as it sounded, Liya who should've learnt something from Anton's story, was in the end also betrayed by the one person she loved the most.

Having been through something as unbelievable as being reborn, it mattered not even the tiniest bit to her how it happened. Only one thing was on her mind:

She had her baby back.

The little bun has been watching his mom. "Where's Daddy's morning kiss?" Jacob asked.

Axel quickly seconded. "Uhuh, where's mine?"

Liya giggled to their antics. Jacob was innocently clueless while the other one was shameless. She walked up to Axel and kissed his cheek, but at the last moment he turned to her, resulting to their lips touching.

"Mmhh, what a good morning indeed." Axel commented. Liya just giggled again.

"Hey, that's not fair." The two saw Jacob pouting. Why did he only get a kiss on the cheek?

"Jacob, you should only kiss someone's lips if you want to marry the person. So from now on, Mommy's lips only belong to me. Understand?" Axel explained to the little child, his tone was serious but his eyes contained mirth.

Jacob nodded. "Got it, Daddy!"

"Save your lips for the right girl, alright?"

"Okay, Daddy! I'll keep it in mind."

"Good boy." Axel praised him and the little kid earned another pat on his head.

Mr. Kang's name was Hwasik Kang. 
His biggest strength was his rich experience and knowledge. He seemed slow-witted because of his stammering, but Sonjong's description of him made Hyunwoo look at him differently.
Sonjong said, "Mr. Kang was such a fine worker that those who worked with him were scared a bit because he found out the problem once he got down to business."

Only then did Hyunwoo come to realize why Mr. Kang insisted on receiving 500,000 won per month. All he wanted was to find a job to pass time.
He also had a good character with a strong sense of responsibility. Once he was tasked with an assignment, he would carry it out by all means.

"When you retire this weekend, you can come to work at KOVE DREAM starting next week," said Hyunwoo.
"Sure. As for the bonded warehouse, you had better open it as soon as possible. They will hold a judging committee on the approval of the new applications for the bonded warehouses at the end of this month. You must submit the application before the meeting is held."
"Actually, there is a new warehouse under construction now. It will be completed in two months. Don't you think we can submit the application then?"

"No worries. I've been doing it every day for a long time."
"By the way, can we use Unipass to file the declaration? Right now, we pay almost 10 million won for the licensed customs agent's commission."
"Let me take care of that. Looks like our items don't include anything that needs a quarantine inspection, and all the import products need little paperwork," said Hwasik.
"Can you help us with that, Mr. Kang?"
"Sure, why not?"
Hwasik perfectly handled the customs clearance work. He also obtained the Unipass rights in one day then started to process the import declarations without going through the licensed customs agent.

"So, do you want to report him to the administrator of Story Mecca?"
Actually, Story Mecca was pretty generous to the readers' comments posted on its website.

"No, don't do that. You might be in trouble for that, hahaha," said Hyunwoo.
Hyunwoo found something interesting in Yenam's hate comments.

"Director Chen, why didn't you tell me you were coming?!"
Charlie saw the party of people enter and immediately stood up, warmly greeting the chubby person walking in the front.

Chen Da Ming wanted to cry. "If you don't find a voice actor, our producer is going to find their own company. Bro, it took me a lot to give this job to you, I'm under so much pressure, you can't screw me over like this!"

Chen Da Ming didn't care for Charlie's justifications, and asked, "Did you really? Then can I get a demo today? We have to figure this out before the producer finds their own voiceover company!"

He was the assistant director for his animation, "Forest exploration", and naturally hoped everything went smoothly after receiving the prestigious task of finding a dubbing company. But Charlie had been dragging the order, up to the point where the production team had stated they were going to find their own dubbing team. Chen Da Ming had no choice but to make a run personally.
Post-production dubbing was a big job for an animation. It had taken him so much work to get the job of finding a company, how could he let it go to someone else?
Although this "Forest exploration" is a preschool cartoon or an animation that was suitable for preschool students, the production level and budget were both very high.
And there were people among the crew that had already begun discussing broadcasting rights before it was even complete. The incentives in this animation were much more lucrative than one could imagine.

After receiving the demos, Chen Da Ming let out a sigh of relief.
"Li, take good care of director Chen."
Charlie instructed, before returning to the recording studio. He rubbed his hands and explained this animation, "Forest Exploration" to Meng Fan. "I really am missing a few demos for some minor characters, and all-male too. You know it's easy to find female dubbers for animations, and all roles can be replaced by a woman's voice if possible too. It's too hard to find suitable male voices. I originally found you to test out one of the roles, but just now, I discovered you can demo the rest too."
If Meng Fan hadn't been present, he really had to find a few more people, for Charlie really wanted to earn this commission as well.
Afterward, Charlie explained a bit more regarding the popularity of preschool animations evidently because he was worried Meng Fan would feel prejudiced towards dubbing for a kid's movie.
To be honest, the market for preschool animations was much larger than a lot of other animation genres. For example, the most recent animations from this year. Regardless if you rank by highest popularity or most-watched, there were bound to be several preschool animations among the ranks. Like "Peppa Pig", and "Paw Patrol"...
Meng Fan interrupted him, "Director, I can try them all."
As a student in animation, Meng Fan, of course, knew the influence preschool animations had on the market. In terms of economic benefits for animation, they were much more profitable than teen animations and even adult animations. The peripherals alone weren't even comparable to other age groups.
Of course, this didn't really affect Meng Fan. To him, as long as it was a role, he was willing to dub it.

"Okay, then I'll explain this film and help you dissect the roles you're going to play."

"There are a few roles you have to demo for. Although none of them are lead characters, they are still very important. There are five: Grandpa Pine, Professor Duck, Uncle Elephant, Uncle Crocodile, and Principal Tortoise. There are still some more suitable characters in the follow up that don't currently require a demo sample. You only need to record demos for these five important supporting roles."
"Grandpa Pine's specialities are..."
After analyzing all five roles, he instructed Meng Fan to look over the script. The story was simple. Every episode was a short story, and each episode was very short; about 5-6 minutes.
Five or six minutes was just right for a preschooler's attention span, as many preschool animations were this length.
"Then let's go ahead?"
"No problem."
Meng Fan once again entered the recording room in a happy mood.
The first demo was of Grandpa Pine. Meng Fan looked for his tone. Grandpa Pine had an elderly temper, and loved to shake his body to rustle leaves and prank others—Meng Fan couldn't understand as for how he could sustain losing so many leaves—and although he was an old jester, he was very wise. Many characters will go to him for advice when they were upset.
He passed in two tries.
The second role was Professor Duck. This was the most important role out of all five characters, and a character that appeared every second episode. Since it was a duck, Meng fan tried to flatten his voice. But Charlie didn't agree, telling him he didn't have to force an adult's impression of a duck. This dub was meant for children, so a teacher's voice had to be warm, and must have had a touch of certainty to convince the children.
This was the original role Charlie had prepared for Meng fan.
This time, it took four tries before they could continue.
Since this was an important role, its voice demo was a key player in securing this commission.
The three remaining demos all passed with flying colors in two or three tries.
Looking at the time, only 40 minutes had gone by! Most of the time had been spent understanding this animation and the characters. How efficient!
Charlie thought for a moment, then spoke, "Why don't you try narrating?"
Originally, the narrations were supposed to be completed by Charlie himself, and he'd already prepared a demo as well. But thinking about it, Meng Fan felt more suitable, and they had the extra time, too.


To reward Meng Fan for his bravery before his heroic death, the cosmos rewarded him with a 'system', sending him back in time to three months ago, alive.

Kyle and Otis had arrived on a Friday, so they spent the weekend indoors doing nothing in particular. Otis had warmed up to his grandmother, and now called out to her and spoke using the few words he knew.

     "You're up. Is your grandma awake?" Kyle asked as he spotted his three-year-old wander into the kitchen in pajamas.

     "No, nana's sleeping," he muttered in a low voice heading for the long sofa before climbing on top of it and cuddling up with the duvet that had been forgotten in the living room the night before. The young boy had begun to sleep in his grandmother's room while Kyle stayed alone in the attic room that was his when he was a kid. Otis didn't say anything after that, he just stared at the cartoons playing from a DVD on the old tele.

     Kyle didn't mind that Otis had moved to stick close to his grandmother. It was how it was supposed to be. She was the one who knew how to bath him properly and cook meals. She was also able to entertain his childish curiosity and play, a fit that only frustrated Kyle. He knew how to talk to adults, and to an extent, almost adults, but he didn't know how to talk to children at all. He didn't know any blokes like himself who could, so he tried not to beat himself up about it.

     Otis was an on the whim child. Kyle had gotten married to the woman of his dreams, and following the pattern often expected of married couples, they decided to have a child together. Kyle hadn't realized he little he knew his own child until Anastasia left and he couldn't afford preschool and babysitting services. His son was a stranger in many ways, but he was still his son none the less, and Kyle would put in an effort to ease their relationship since the boy's mother had just up and left.

     "Do you know you're going to school today?" Kyle asked, looking from the cup of coffee he was making to his son that was still transfixed by the television.

     "School?" he said, looking over at Kyle. "But we're on holiday," the little boy said with wide eyes.

     Kyle stopped himself from rolling his eyes. Otis' diction annoyed Kyle a bit, and he wasn't sure if it was because he still felt a bit conscious about his own rural accent that never really went away, or if it was because the British accent just sounded so out of place. It hinted at the preppy preschool Otis used to go to before, as well as the cartoons Anastasia made him watch.

     "Yes school," Kyle muttered, stirring the contents in his mug the last time before walking to join Otis on the sofa. It was around seven in the morning, and Kyle had to drop Otis off at the preschool before ten. He had gone to see the place with his mother when he had accompanied her to the grocery store, she maintained. They had filled the registration form after taking a look around.

     "I'll meet Ms. Tess?" Otis asked, and Kyle shook his head, using his free hand to pat Otis' head. The young boy seemed shocked by the reaction and closed his eyes as well as tense up.

     "No, you're going to a new school," Kyle said, watching Otis' eyes for a reaction.

     "New school?"

     "Yes."

      "Oh, okay," Otis muttered as his eyes moved back to the T.V. the gist of new schools and teachers losing his attention.

      Kyle's mother got up soon after and went about giving Otis a bath and making him breakfast. Kyle waited in the living room, prepared to take Otis to school on his first day. His plans after that were simple. He'd work around the house and fix things his mother couldn't get about calling a repairman for before he took a look at his old man's mechanic workshop so that he could draw up a plan to bring it back to life. He also had plans of visiting his father's grave, but that could wait until later into his stay.

     Kyle remembered working with his father after school and through the weekend. He was expecting to be overwhelmed by nostalgia and sadness when about decluttering it. The old man had meant a lot to him, and it stung to know that he couldn't be with him through his last days of extreme pain. He also wasn't able to make it to his funeral—the way he couldn't make it to anything for the past five years.

     "Be safe, have a nice first day." Were Kyle's mother's parting words as Kyle drove out into the road. Otis waved at his grandmother from the back seat in his carrier chair before pressing his hands and face against the car window as his father drove on. There wasn't much to see. Newfront wasn't urban or suburbia, and it was mostly empty planes of land for the most part.

     There were more farm animals than people.

     There were a lot of cows and a lot of horses.

     Kyle used to like bothering the horses as a kid.

     They got closer to the main town hub when started to drive by buildings in shorter intervals. Kyle drove his range rover past the 'busy' streets of the town. Some people stared at the car with confusion, and other people seemed to know who he was since they waved. Kyle tried not to look at anyone, and he kept his eyes on the road until he made it to the building that housed the local preschool.

      The preschool shared a building with daycare and the town's post office. An odd combination. Kyle remembered the old post office. The building had been explained as well as having two floors added to it. The preschool was on the top floor. It had looked a bit sketchy to Kyle, but Kyle's mother assured him it was a good place for Otis.

     "Come on, let's go," Kyle said when he turned the car off and opened the doors. He went to the back to pick Otis up from his seat as well as picking up his day back. He shut the backseat door before pressing the lock on his car keys.

     At first, Kyle wasn't sure where to go, but he spotted a woman with a child that looked just about Otis' age walking into the building. He followed with Otis, climbing up the stairs behind her until they got the top floor. A lady was at the door talking to women as their kids slipped past through them and into the preschool. Kyle stood behind the women with Otis' bag in one hand and the other holding on to his son's left hand.

     No one seemed to notice him until the person at the door—who Kyle assumed was one the two teachers his mother talked about—looked past the ladies she was talking to and locked eyes with him.

     "Oh, you're the new dad!" she said, making the two women with dark brown hair turn to look at him as well.

     Kyle didn't say anything, but he nodding, moving closer since the ladies parted for him.

     "Sorry for ignoring you. I didn't notice you were there," the preschool teacher said before turning her green eyes to Otis.

     "Otis?" she said before grinning at the young boy, and like was with strangers, Otis just stayed quiet and stared at the floor.

     "He's shy," she said, looking back up at Kyle, her shoulder-length black hair bouncing a bit with the motion.

     "Yes, he is," Kyle confirmed, squeezing Otis' hand a bit.

     The teacher didn't seem fazed by that though, she just kept smiling. "He'll open up soon. I'm thinking you should go in with him and talk to Chaska. Maybe he'll be less shy if you stick around for a few minutes," she said, and Kyle nodded, assuming this Chaska person was the other teacher. He shouldn't be hard to spot in the sea of short kids.

     "Oh, and by the way I'm Gabbie," the woman said, making Kyle stop at the door. Gabbie reached out her hand for a handshake, and Kyle let go of Otis' hand to give it to her before letting go. The woman almost immediately looked away, focusing her attention on the other set of parents that had arrived. Kyle never remembered there being so many children when he was younger. Maybe the unrecognizable farms he saw on his way belonged to families with young children that had moved in not too long ago.

     "Come on," he told his son before grabbing on to his hand and pulling him into the preschool with him. The room they walked into was drowned in color and contrasted with the hallway that had red brick walls and gloomy brown paint.

     Kyle looked around for the only adult he assumed would be in the room and his eyes landed on a sturdy figure that was at the far end of the room looking through papers.

     Kyle raised a brow at the man, confused as to why a person that looked like they could pass for a college gym rat was doing in a room filled with noisy children. Putting the doubt at the back of his mind, Kyle approached him with Otis and stopped to the left of him.

     Now standing closer, Kyle noticed that the man had oddly not looked up at them like someone would do when approached. He kept staring at the papers in his hands as if no one was there. The man had tan skin and a toned body. Kyle could tell enough from his out of place clothes that made him look like he was dressed for a morning jog.

     "Excuse me," Kyle said, losing his patience.

     "Excuse me," he repeated when the man didn't look up. Kyle nibbled on his lower lip, feeling an urge to reach out and tug the teacher's man bun, but he didn't. The man, who was probably a few meters taller than his 5'11 was still ignoring him. His dark eyes were still fixed on the paper in his hands. Kyle thought he had finally been noticed when the man dropped a paper, but he had only done that to bend over to scribble on its side.

     "Excuse me," Kyle said again, this time reaching out to touch the man's arm. The man reacted this time, turning sharply and giving Kyle and Otis a wide-eyed stare.

     He looked genuinely surprised.

     "Gabbie said that we should talk to you. Otis is new." As Kyle said those words he watched as the man cocked his head to the side to face him with his right ear.

     Was he deaf—partially?

     "Okay," the young man said. His voice rang clear and a little loud. It was similar to the voice you'd associate with someone with a lot of confidence, but that didn't look like what was at play here. The man avoided eye contact and didn't look like he was asserting authority. Kyle guessed that a better explanation would be that he was projecting his voice not only for other people to hear but for himself to hear as well.

     "You must be Otis," he went on to say, squatting so that he was on the same level with Kyle's son. Kyle wasn't sure whether he should be insulted about the man just going ahead to speak with his son instead of him first, but the direct interaction seemed to corner Otis into talking, and that was a mighty fit.

     "Should I just drop his bag and heads out?" Kyle asked, showing that he was still there, watching the two that had drifted on to a discussion about the class pet hamster and what coloring books they were going to be using in class. Kyle wasn't sure how other adults could be genuinely interested in a discussion like this, but he'd watched teachers, his mother—women in general just seem to fall in line with children. Maybe it was an archaic way to think, but Kyle just felt like it was something of a woman's nature. But here, a man was right in front of him, doing everything he couldn't do and had blamed on him not naturally being cut off for it because of his gender.

     "Drop them at the cupboards at the end. You can leave now, I think Otis will like it here," the man said, looking at Kyle briefly before turning to smile at Otis who smiled back. He looked excited. His new teacher must have promised him a lot.

     "Will do," Kyle said, waving bye at his son after dropping off his bag. He left through the exit but didn't head down the stairs immediately. Debbie was still at the door, but she was alone, so Kyle thought it wouldn't harm to ask her a question.

     "Is Chaska deaf?" Kyle asked before Debbie could ask him how things went.

     "Yes, fully on the left, partially on the right," she explained, tapping her left and right ears. It looked like it was a situation she was used to explaining.

     "Oh."

     "Don't worry about it, he's great at reading lips," she said, giving Kyle a little smile. She must have assumed he was worried about how that would play out with the children.

     "He's great with kids. Otis is talking to him, and Otis barely talks to strangers," Kyle said, wanting to tell Gabbie, but without directly telling her, that he wasn't worried about Chaska with the kids.

     Debbie's smile went from forced to genuine and he nodded in agreement. "Yes, he's wonderful with kids!"

     "Have a safe trip now." Kyle heard her voice say as he turned away and started heading down the stairs.

     Even when Kyle got home and started emptying out his father's shed, he still couldn't get the interaction between Chaska and his son out of his head. Chaska was a man, and Kyle was a man. What made Chaska better with kids than him?

     With a sigh, Kyle wheeled out the last spare tire in the workshop. He was started to think he had run out of excuses for being a shitty parent.

This is a true story of my life so strap in I'm going to tell a long story. 
Starting from the age where and child can start to remember things, 4. The biggest tragedy in my life happened. A car ran me over, of course I lived to tell the tale. But let's tell the story from the beginning. 
So, I was 4 I just got out of preschool. My grandfather came to pick me and we had to cross a street nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Then in an instant a car at full speed hit and knocked me unconscious. I woke up a bit later to find I was stuck under the hood of the car. I heard the paramedics yelling to get the debris off of me. My clothes were burned and infused with my skin, my hand was open as well as my back, I was sent to the hospital where I was set up for surgery to get my wounds treated. Before the operation started I woke up and in MASSIVE amounts of pain, I started to kick and scream, causing my broken bones to sink into the meat of my leg and arm. I was put to sleep by anesthesia only to wake up from my surgery 3 MONTHS later, due to my body needing major internal repairs so I was in a coma, when I woke up I had giant tube going down my throat to "feed" me. I pressed the button to alert the nurse to my room. 
It was very late at the time, the nurse helped me up and I drank a lot of water and ate some food. I was starving and thirsty. 

Thank you for reading my first ever chapter, if you have any tips on how to tell a good story I'll be very grateful.

I saw some concerns about the chapter pacing and a possible time skip. First off my intention for writing this story to go in detail and explain how he became proficient in using all how gifts. I planed on using his younger years to set up his organization. I gave a brief glimpse of his thinking and plans. 
I wanted his travels to start with his parents at a younger age once he masters ligilimency and rudimentary magic. He would go to Japan on one such adventure and be invited to be a day student at mahatakuro school of magic there as it starts at age 7 he would collect info from there go to newt for some time to be introduced to magical beasts, gain their trust and feather materials for his wand.(as I said even though windless magic is better he will maximize his potential in both just like students of modern day Ugandoo. (Excuse my spellings I will fix them later)  
He would set up his elf squadron etc. and a few surprises along the way that I wanted to save for later hint(something related to newt's trunk and the Phoenix-dragon)
I have read other fanfics where they breeze through their pre got warts years and just summarize their mastery in mindsets Bering yo criminals getting money and everything without details. I wanted to make it different.
Just as Batman could defeat anyone with enough prep time.
I wanted the Mac to gain advantage of his prep time and anonymity in his younger years to establish a somewhat sold foothold. 
I had no big time skips planed because my story was supposed to have three volumes first one preschool, second one his schools(yes multiple) third one fighting the hidden organizations and cremating a true safe haven for all things magical.
Now let me know if you want me to continue this route or make a story with a time skip to his school years and make small notes on his accomplishments.
Again he would live with two main identities thanks to his metamorphmagus abilities. One as Dresden and the other as the leader of the brotherhood possible name suggestions are welcome or should I title him Ras-Al-Gul.
So please let me know, also if you notice the grammar errors or some confusing phrases please let me know so that I could fix them. As I said this is the first time I am writing and publishing it. I will try to fix it.
