यह घटना हाल का ही है, जिस पर मुझे अभी भी विश्वास नहीं होता है कि मैंने इसे अपनी आँखों से देखा है। मैं इसे उतना ही समझाऊंगा जितना मैं कर सकता हूं और वह भी आपको समझने में सक्षम होने के लिए।

बात 2017, जून  महीने की है जब मैं अपने फॅमिली के साथ 1 सप्ताह के लिए जम्मू और कश्मीर की पारिवारिक यात्रा पर गया था (भारत में एक बहुत प्रसिद्ध पर्यटन स्थल, इसे दूसरा इंडिया का स्विट्जरलैंड भी कहा जाता है।पहले हमने कटरा, जम्मू में वैष्णोदेवी मंदिर (हिंदू के लिए पवित्र स्थान) के दर्शन के लिए गए।, फिर मेरे पिताजी ने "भदरवाह" नामक एक नई जगह को एक्स्प्लोर करने का फैसला किया। हम पहले भी कश्मीर घुमने आये थे, इसलिए हम इस पर सहमत हो गए। हमने अगले ही दिन कटरा छोड़ दिया, और हम सुबह सात बजे से यात्रा करने लगे।

हम शाम को लगभग 5 बजे भद्रवाह पहुँचे (यह पहुँचने में हमें समय लगा क्योंकि पूरी रास्ता पर्वतों के बिच से होकर गुजरती है, कोई मैदानी क्षेत्र नहीं)। वह बहुत ही खुबसूरत जगह है। वहां की नेचुरल ब्यूटी ने मेरा मन मोह लिया था।

हमने वहां के स्थानीय लोगों से पूछा कि यहाँ के साईट सीन्स के बारे में पूछा, उन्होंने कहा कि अगर हम प्रकृति प्रेमी हैं तो हमें "पादरी पास" घुमने जाना चाहिए। यह जगह वहां से लगभग 40 किमी दूर था। इसलिए, हमने पहले उस जगह को घुमने का फैसला किया।हम अगले दिन पादरी पास के लिए रवाना हुए, 40 किमी की दूरी तय करने में हमें 2 घंटे लग गए क्योंकि वहां की सड़कें बहुत खतरनाक थीं, कभी भी भूस्खलन हो सकता है। जब हम वहां पहुँचे, तो हमने कुछ टेंट देखा, जहाँ लोग टूरिस्ट के लिए छोटा सा कैंटीन जैसा खोल रखा था। हमारे सामने बर्फ से ढंका पहाड़ था, ईमानदारी से, यह बहुत ही मन भावन दृश्य था।

हमने उस जगह पर खूब मौज मस्ती की, दोपहर का भोजन किया, तस्वीरें क्लिक कीं। जब मैंने अजान की आवाज  सुनी उस समय लगभग दोपहर का एक बज रहा होगा। वहां का हर मुसलमान अपनी प्रार्थना करने लगा।अचानक मौसम बदला, वहां के हवाओ में थोड़ी अजीब सी बदलाव आ गयी। उसी क्षण हमने कुछ अप्रत्याशित देखा। आचानक वहां कहीं से 100 से भी जयादा कौवे का झुण्ड आ गया।

किसी को नहीं पता था कि अचानक से कौवे का इतना बड़ा समूह कहां से आ गया। वे कौवे कब्रिस्तान के ठीक ऊपर उड़ने लगे। उन्होंने आकाश में कब्रिस्तान के चारों ओर एक घेरा बना लिया, मैंने उस तस्वीर को क्लिक करने की कोशिश की लेकिन हम सभी का फ़ोन उस समय खुद से स्विच ऑफ हो गया।

हम अभी भी खड़े थे, यह दृश्य सम्मोहित कर देने जैसा था। जैसे ही अजान समाप्त हुई,  वे कौवे उड़ गए और जंगल में गायब हो गए, और हमारा मोबाइल फोन खुद से स्विच ऑन हो गए। यह एक बहुत ही अविश्वसनीय घटना था।

वहां के स्थानीय लोग सामान्य रूप से व्यवहार कर रहे थे जैसे वहां कुछ भी नहीं हुआ हो, ऐसा महसूस हुआ कि वे पहले से ही यह सब जानते थे। कुछ मिनटों के बाद, मैंने एक स्थानीय से इसके बारे में पूछा। "क्या यह हर बार होता है?"।उसने जो कहा, उसने मुझे मुस्कुरा कर कहा, "प्रार्थना में शक्ति है, सर, यह कब्रिस्तान मुस्लिमों का है और वे अपनी प्रार्थनाओं के प्रति वफादार हैं, इतना वफादार कि मृत्यु भी उन्हें रोक नहीं सकती।"

हो सकता है कि उन्होंने इमोशन में आकर कुछ अधिक कह दिया हो, पर वास्तव में यह सब सच था, और मुझे उस समय एक अनोखी शक्ति महसूस हो रही थी।

इसे एक डरावना अनुभव तो नहीं कहेंगे, लेकिन हाँ यह एक विचित्र अनुभव तो जरुर था जिसने मुझे हिलाकर रख दिया।

I took a moment while out of his view to wince and rub my shoulder. I stuffed the very wrinkled bag in the back of my sock drawer without even looking at it. Peeling off the ripped shirt, I threw it in a corner. I had to bend over some to take a look at my shoulder in my dresser mirror. Touching it gingerly, I knew I was going to be sore for the next few days. 

No clean shirts left in my room, which meant nothing to hide the bruise that was working its way across my shoulder. I resented that grip, but knew I wouldn't have stayed to listen to everything if it hadn't been there. And I had promised to listen. 

I had demanded to be treated like a man, and got more than I bargained for. 

His words about possibly becoming a rapist came back to me. He never said he had, only that the struggle in a crowded city was too much for him, how finding mom had been a godsend. 

I really didn't want to ask, was determined not to ask. At the same time I was desperate to ask, to be reassured that my dad was who I always thought he was. 

It was my turn to try and stop the trembling that was the side effect of too much emotion being bottled up for too long. I wanted to rid myself of my jeans and run across the land, paws digging into the earth to spur my speed. I got as far as setting my hand to the button on my jeans. 

Be a man. 

I couldn't run, couldn't go out there without my emotions under control, couldn't stay hiding in my room.  

Fake it until you make it, my mom had whispered to me once when I was younger and starting schooling , sharing a grin with me. She had tried to prep me for manhood even then. Don't let them see you get ruffled, no matter who "they" were. Girls, bullies, my dad...  

I took a deep breath before I went back out to join him. 

He was in the kitchen, cooking up a pan of potatoes, with two steaks sitting on the counter waiting their turn. 

"I threw a load in the washer," he said without turning around. 

"I was going to." 

I was relieved my voice came out steady, even if I still felt shaky. I didn't realize how long I'd been in my room. 

"You can get the next one," he said. I heard the smirk in his voice.

I snorted. Dad always hated doing laundry, not that it was my favorite thing to do either. 

He glanced back at me to see how I was doing. His eyes narrowed slightly as he took in my shoulder, but he said nothing. I could feel it though, the silent words. Be a man. I could feel a certain amount of pride coming from him too. Gad this was awkward. 

"What you gonna drive while you're out there?"

His question caught me by surprise. "I thought you'd drive me up in the truck. After that, I don't know. I'll figure something out."

"Michael down at Split Creek has that old bike of his he's been talking of getting rid of. We should go over and talk to him about it. Bikes are cheap on gas, and you can go off road with that old thing."

That old thing? That "old thing" was a frigging Indian motorcycle that's probably worth a small fortune as an antique. Ten times more valuable because of how well kept it was. 

Michael had a shed out back full of enough spare parts to make a few bikes. Working on the old bikes has been Michael's lifelong hobby, and he was as old as Grandfather. An Indian was a dream bike if there ever was one! Forget the more famous, bigger, or fancier bikes. A bike like that could go  just about anywhere my four paws could take me. 

"Michael will never let his go," I said with complete confidence. 

"Hmmm. We should go talk to him anyway," Dad said as if I already agreed to go. 

Shoulder temporarily forgotten, I just stared at Dad's back as he stirred the potatoes around. 

There was another whole unspoken conversation in that sentence, in his whole purposely casual demeanor. He was offering me the freedom to go that I'd so long craved, tied here by unspoken bonds I always felt, but never understood. No more fighting me. He was giving me his unspoken blessing, offering me the independence of a man.

It was late afternoon when we drove up the dirt road to Michael's. It was a quiet ride; Dad didn't even turn the radio on. Things were still kinda awkward, despite dad keeping that casual attitude that was betrayed by the grip he had on the steering wheel. We walked in silence to the back of the property, to the old shed that was Michael's workshop. 

Dad did most of the talking after the brief hello. Michael commented about how young I'd been last time he'd seen me a few years ago. Michael easily started to shake hands with my dad for the sale of a bike he had just finished putting together. Dad stepped back saying the sale was directly to me. 

The amount was more than reasonable. Michael told me I could make payments as my paychecks came in. The whole thing went down just way to easy. I tried to catch Dad's eye, but he kept looking at parts laying around. 

Michael insisted then on inviting us up to the house, saying he wanted to share a smoke with us. 

Dad agreed too easily. I shot Dad another look, knowing how he barely tolerated the formal smoking ritual. I've never seen him accept an offer to smoke, without at least trying to get out of it without offering offense. My look was ignored as we trudged up to the house as the shadows lengthened into evening.

We sat out back, the old man instructing dad to start a fire while he went in the house for his pipe. Dad kept busy, purposely avoiding me until Michael came back out. The three of us sat around the small fire. Dad still didn't really look at me. 

The old man couldn't share a smoke without sharing stories of some of the close calls he'd had on bikes over his long years. I was being lectured by an old man about bike safety. I kept my features pleasant, nodded respectfully at the right times. 

I could do this. 
Be a man. 
I groaned internally. 

After stories hi-lightning the dangers of riding a bike, there were other stories of how his bikes had saved him on a few occasions. Michael had lived an adventurous life in his time. Some of the stories were really interesting. I found myself asking the occasion question or making comments.

We sat there for a few hours, sharing smoke and stories as dusk came on. I kept throwing glances at dad when I thought the old man wasn't looking. All I got was more of that purposely casual attitude from him with that still-not-looking at you... until finally a slight side glance and a quick smirking grin. 

Be a man. Hang out with the grown men. Don't be the impatient boy I once was. Show respect to your elders... and it was actually pretty cool to do so, not that I'd admit it. 

Michael surprised me with the story of how my mother had used one of his bikes to make her rounds as the local vet, until an elk had attacked it during rut season. 

"I don't know, maybe the elk thought the handlebars were enough like horns to challenge it. There is no explaining an elk in rut." 

Michael paused to blow out smoke, then used the pipe to motion toward the bike we'd made an agreement about, his voice slow and deliberate. 

"Your mother wanted you to have it. May it serve you the same way it served River Woman." 

I was astounded to learn mom had ridden a bike. I never knew! More, mom's old bike was now my new bike, and mom had wanted me to have it. The memory of her silver ghost pushed its way to the forefront of my thoughts. 

This explained the few quiet arguments my parents had had the few weeks before we took to the forest that fateful day, if you could call it arguing. A stiff tone from dad, mom's determined but gentle comment in return, a long silence. I never knew what they were disagreeing about. I glanced at the bike that mom had arranged for me, the bike dad had been against.

Sharing a look with the old man who held the long formal pipe out to me with both hands, I saw respect. I realized that my new steel horse was not merely a purchase. The low price of the old repaired bike was Michael's gift to honor all my mother had done to help the people who couldn't pay full price for her veterinary skills. It was a connection with my mom's past. A gift that honored me as her son, as a man in my own rights. 

I solemnly took the pipe, took a steadying draw. I couldn't look at dad right now, didn't dare. He knew the bike was waiting for me when he suggested we come out here. Dad was honoring my mom's wishes. He was setting me free, giving me the means to go the same way his father had for him. 

Hearing the story about mom had me all emotional, especially after the long day I'd had. I was determined that I was not going to cry at a time when I was being accepted as a man.

Alise wriggled her small frame through the undergrowth taking care not to entangle her long brown hair in the thorns or vines. As she emerged on the outcrop her pale blue eyes took in the surroundings. This was her favorite place the rolling hills and mountains of North Carolina spead before her. The air was crisp and fresh and even held a feint sweetness in it.  From her perch atop the mountain on her families land she always felt like she could just reach out and grab the world. That's why she loved this place and would come here even though she was supposed to be in school. It was worth a scolding from papa and Princible Minsk to bask in the freedom nature offered her. They would tell her about education and such but they just didnt understand. She might only be eleven but Alise Annabelle Thorn knew what she wanted out of this world, more beautiful mountains to sit on. She just couldnt figure why in a country that preached freedom like Pastor John preached Jesus everyone was so hellbent on chaining themselves down. She took in her surroundings again....when they could have this.
 After awhile Alise stood up and brushed off her blue jeans and decided it was a good time to make her way home. She hoped mama wasnt home, papa would give you a few with a belt then be back to laughing. Mama however she sure could smolder for awhile. As she made her way down the mountain she looked up at the sun, it was a good bit past the halfway point. She better take the shortcut home. Normally she avoided it because you had to go through the creepy spot, as Alise called it. The trees where cleared there making a perfect circle and despite being on a mountain side the land was flat except for a hill in the center. Papa said it was probably an Indian burial site but whatever it was it always reminded her of scary movies. Like a ghost or zombie was just icthing to pop out. As she approached the clearing she slowed down and stoped on its rim. Everything was flat and still like always. Yep still creepy. She closed her eyes and made a cross shape with her fingers. "Buried Indian people I come in peace and on behalf of my ancestors I apolgise.", she opened her eyes and froze.
 On the mound in the center of the clearing stood a strange man. He was short not much taller than Alise herself but nearly as thick as he was tall. His clothes seemed to be made of brown and reddish leathers with a wide sturdy looking belt. The belt had many studded green gems in it from the left of his body to the right. he had long black hair that fell to his waist and an equally long beard. Holy beeswax it was a dwarf strait out of a movie, that was the only thought could come to mind. Before she could say anything or muster the courage to move the dwarfs gaze fell on her. He frowned then after a second held up his hands in a non-threating gesture and walked towards her. About ten feet away he stoped and said somthing, she had no idea what he said so she just stared back confused and unsure what she should do. Scratching his beard he frowned again then slapped a fist to his palm. He pointed at his eye and said ,"Hath, hath." oh I get it she thought this is kinda like that Tarzan cartoon, she pointed to her eye "Eye, eye." she responded. He smiled and they repeated the process listing off fingers, elbows, knees and so on untill he had covered about twenty or so parts. She almost started laughing, what in the world was this guy doing, then suddenly thier little game stopped and he spoke,"Ha..ard spee..ak manny rune." Her jaw almost hit the floor,"Holy cow, you just learned to speak english!" Frowning again he said,"Cow...not know...can speak...little few rune." She laughed,"Its word not rune, you must really be a dwarve and a lot smarter than dwarvs in the stories I have read." He shook his head,"No dwarve..short man...far land from..away." She laughed even harder and slapped her thigh,"If your trying to blend in dont learn a language in sixty seconds." He seemed to slump as if defeated by those words, then looked back up to her with determination in his eyes," Secret..dont speak..of me yes." Alise held out her hand to him in the gesture of a hand shake,"Im a little counfused about all the how,where and whens. But ive seen enough tv to know you dont turn down your own personal fantasy friend. Plus you will be living on my mountain how cool is that!" His brow furrowed a little then he held out his hand parralel to hers but not touching," Do not..know much you said..this your mountain?" She grabbed his hand and gave it a good shake,"Sure is, Im Alise by the way. What is your name?" Pulling his hand away nervously he responded,"Dalvin..my name." Her smile widened this was just too cool,"Hey we should find you a place to stay I know of a cave.....wait I shouldnt jump to conclusions. Do you like to live in caves?...that dont sound right either. How sho-" Dalvin held up a hand and cut her off,"Cave..good place...like" She grabbed his hand again and began walking,"Great follow me, I know a good spot not to far away" He resisted at first then conceeded to being pulled along, mumbling somthing in that strange language he had first used.
 After awhile they reached the cave. It was about twelve feet wide and sixteen feet deep with a small stream running doen the center. Alise turned and faced Dalvin holding her arms wide,"Well what do you think pretty nice right?" Dalvin nodded,"Good cave..camp here..you live near...sun go down...soon." Reality came crashing down. Oh crap she needed to get home and fast."I need to get home fast, you will still be here tommorow right? There is soooo much i wana talk about." Dalvin was rummaging through the leather case he had and pulled out a small green stone wrapped in metal bands."First..oath..to no speak of me." Alise was confused,"What do you mean?" Dalvin pointed at the stone,"Hand here..make oath." Alise understood now she placed her hand on the stone,"ok what next?" He looked at her his face growing more stern,"No my name..race..speak to anyone." She nodded,"I swear not to speak of Dalvin the dwarve to anyone." The stone flashed and a jolt went through her body.Alise's eyes went wide,"Holy flippin cow, did you just bind me with magic. Oh my god there is no way im gonna sleep tonight." She was so excited a real spell, what did it do? Wait it was a promise not to talk so what if she tried to say his name,"Pffftttt." She tried a few more times each ending in failure.She giggled, so cool. A tap on her shoulder from Dalvin brought her back to her senses,"You need...to go home...yes? Be carefull...safe..talk tommorow..yes?" It was her turn to slump in defeat,"Yea I do. I will see you tommorow then." She turned and started to walk away then looked back,"Please dont leave me...please" Dalvin nodded reassuringly and with that Alise headed home.

Everyone is always going to another world, not this time though. Dalvin a dwarven minner is fleeing to earth to hide and hopefully stay alive.
    After finding somthing in the mines of his home world he flees to the lost world Earth. However it has changed much over the last 4000 years. Adapting to a new world Dalvin struggles to keep his secrets and his life safe.

After coming inside, Aditi calm down her heart and then go to classroom, she already saw the class so finding the class is not difficult, she come early so she thinks that there will be no one, but to her surprise, lot of students already come, this is specialized B school, the school is somewhat expensive, but they will help students to start there business also, and even if doesn't start business, you can learn lots of things here, and they give admission to only 30 students. After Aditi come, she go and sit on the second row, she read the book "The magic of thinking big" in which the writer tells them to increase confidence sit in the first row, but Aditi doesn't feel that much secure, she think that if someone asks something she can't be able to answer because even though she understands English and can write lots of the time she talk in Hindi and Marathi, so while talking she has accent problem, and on the first day she doesn't want to get ridiculed, now she also wondering is it necessary to join this, but she knew that she needed to come out of her comfort zone, while she is thinking this all students and teacher come inside. The first teacher introduced themselves, and then tell students to tell information about everyone. 
                    Aditi is in middle line, and fortunately for her, one student also introduced himself in Hindi, so she follow his example and introduce herself in Hindi, from this introduction she realized that expect her everyone has the experience of doing business and some of them are on higher post in companies, while some are young and do MBA from good universities, her confidence start collapsing, she is thinking now that if tomorrow she comes or not, but that time teacher starts telling them a story, and because of this her mind get distracted.
                     The teacher ask them is they know who is Dhirubhai Ambani, and everyone answered yes, he is Indian business tycoon, then the teacher said "As you know that Dhirubhai has two sons, when Dhirubhai's property get divided, that time, ICICI Bank's Chairman K.K.Kamath counted the wealth of Ambani's which is approx 90,000 crore INR,  and it is divided between both brothers but now in just 15 years Mukesh Ambani increased his wealth six times, today his wealth is in the house of three lakh crore. while Anil Ambani loses all his wealth and stands on the brink of the bankruptcy, His company has debt about forty-eight thousand crores.
                   They are both learn from there father and their initial state is same then what happened, in business there are lots of things are necessary, you must have creative mind, also you have to well aware, even if you don't have a degree it doesn't matter, but you have to able to read people and also situations. It is not necessary to start business with large capital, it varies from time to time, and it is also not necessary to have lots of time for some business, it is best if you have, large network of friend, but if it is not then don't worry, in today's era we can overcome these easily. For doing business, patience is required, also you must have foresight, also you must have a keen eye to find talents, lots of businessmen are not talented they just know how to manage people. While recruiting you don't need to recruit a large number of people, you may know that the company which made first Android have just 8 employees first, you need to learn how to motivate them and how to win people's heart, also you have basic knowledge of the law and the business you want to do.
                         Right now you may feel overwhelmed, but I am telling you this because if you wanted to start a business then you must be ready to face difficulties, a lot of people think that doing business is gonna be so busy, and you can easily earn money but it is not true. Unlike a salary man, the businessman has no fix holidays, and no fixed salary at the initial stage, so you must have to prepare your mind
               But it is not as difficult at it sound, every person have some basic business skill, even if you don't do any business, so don't worry, Now in first two days we will not teach you but tell you some stories and let you interact with each other and even give you some guidance, unlike school we are not going to teach you, and yes if you have fear that your idea might get stolen then you don't need to directly ask, we will teach you every industry's basic requirement and how to fulfill them, so first ask the question you have and then we will start our next session, and yes everyone must participate in everything.                 Listening to this all the students find their motivation, especially Aditi, because while coming here she is thinking about her shortcomings, but now after listening to this, she realized that there are many things to learn and achieve. She found new confidence she is eager now to learn more and do more things in the future.

Amaya's POV

Wierd.  I didn't expect someone to approach me.  

Alam kong walang gustong makikipag-partner sa akin dahil sa mga sabi-sabi ukol sa akin. Pinag-isipan kong mag-isa nalang siguro akong gagawa ng thesis.  Pero biglang may nag-approach sa akin.  

Hindi ko siya kilala at bigla nalang akong natulala kanina nang tinawag niya ako at kinausap kung pwede ba kaming maging partner sa thesis. 

"Wala na kasing ibang... " sabi niya.  

Right, what was I expecting.  

Last choice pala ako.  Nag-usap kami. Bagohan ata, maybe he did not knew the stories about me kaya nakipagpartner siya sa akin.  Nakakatawa siya, nabulol-bulol kasi siya kanina.  Okay naman siya makatabi,  okay naman siyang maka-usap, okay naman siguro siyang maging partner. 

Okay na yun kaysa sa mag-isa. 

Kinalaunan ay umupo na kami. Lumabas muna yung Prof kaya ang ingay ng room.  

Kami lang atang dalawa ang napakatahimik.  Walang imik. Nakatingin ako sa kanan palayo sa kanya.  Ang awkward. 

Sobrang tahimik namin,   walang buka sa mga bibig. Ang mga kamay niya nasa kanyang tuhod at ang kamay ko ay nasa mesa na tila ba hindi kaming dalawa mapakali sa katahimikan. Kulang nalang may  kroo~ kroo~ na sound effects eh.  

Lumingon siya sa akin. Nagtitigan kami.  Hindi ko alam kung ba't ang tagal niyang nakatitig sa akin hanggang sa bigla siyang suminok.

Nahiya siya ng una, napangiti ako at napangiti rin siya hanggang sa ang ngiti ay naging mga maliliit na mga tawa.    

"Ang tahimik natin kanina," sabi matapos matawa.  

"Pasensya na ha, ganyan lang talaga kasi ako, ang awkward kong tao.  I'm sorry to make you feel awkward," dagdag pa niya.  

"Okay lang naman," sabi ko naman sa kanya sabay ngiti.  Funny.  Cute.

Sam's POV

C'mon Sam, is this all you can do?  

Wala ang prof, at lumabas rin ang ghost.  

Ang tahimik naming dalawa. Ang ingay ng paligid kami lang ata ang nakasarado ang mga bibig.  Napansin kong hindi na ata siya komportable at hindi na napakali. 

I need to do something to break this long tension of awkwardness and silence. 

Tumingin ako sa kanya.  Nagtitigan.  Ang lapit niya pala sa akin. It seems different from seeing her afar.  All you could see is just her dark long hair partially hiding her face.  Up close it's different.  Her hazel eyes are looking into mine. My eyes ran through her face noticing her luscious plump lips. Her cute nose and a beauty mark right above her cheek. She looks different.  Beautiful.

Why, of all time?  

Bigla akong napsinok at napatawa naman siya.  

Good job Sam,  napatawa mo siya! 

Napatawa narin ako.  Ang sarap palang pakinggan ang kanyang mga mahihinang tawa.  

Hindi nagtagal bumalik rin ang professor at nagpatuloy sa kanyang klase.  

Is it just me? Or was that the first time I saw her smile.

"Why don't you eat with us? "  sabi ko sa kanya bago paman siya umalis papuntang cafeteria. 

"I don't think I should... " nagdadalawang-isip siya

Bago paman siya natapos magsalita pinutol ko agad siya. "C'mon, it'll be fun and we could discuss about our thesis during lunch. " 

Ginawa ko ang lahat para mahikayat ko siyang sumama sa amin. Hindi rin nagtagal sumang-ayon narin siya.  

The least thing I want is to get involve with that ghost.  

Paulit-ulit ko yang sinabi sa sarili kanina pero ayaw talaga ng tadhana.  I've already gotten myself into this mess, why not make it worth it.  

Akala ko mahirap siyang makausap dahil sa palagi siyang nag-iisa pero ang dali lang pala.  Ang saya pala niyang tao.

Ayaw ko sanang makihalo sa mga kaibigan ni Sam pero napansin kong desidido talaga siya kaya sumang-ayon nalang ako.  

Papalapit na kami sa mesang kinauupuan ng mga kaibigin ni Sam "Hey, guys," sabi nito sa kanila.  

"This is Amaya,  can she sit with us? " dagdag pa niya.  

"No. " a short strong answer from the thin girl at the corner of the table.

I stiffen at the girl's reply. I never thought they would be this hostile but it seems I was not the only one shocked. Everyone at the table was also. 

"Sam, I think I should go. " I quickly said but he grabbed my arm and in a moment that girl said, "Nahh,  I'm joking!" she suddenly laughed then everyone was laughing.

"You can sit here beside Sam." sabi ng babaeng nakaulo sa harap ng babae kanina.  

"Hi, I don't know if you remember. I'm -" bago paman niya na tapos pinutol ko ang siya at nagsabi, "Angelina,  we've met.  I remember," habang nakangiti. 

Isa-isa silang lahat na nagpapakilala. 

"So,  how true are the rumors?" Hindi na nagpadalos-dalos si Angelina sa pagtanong niya  sa akin.  

"You don't need to answer that, " sabi ni Sam.  Assuring me that it was fine but it was not.  Siguro kailangan ko na talagang ilabas ang katotohanan.  

Hindi ko alam kung anong dapat kong sagutin,  "What rumors are you referring? Sa dinadami-daming rumors tungkol sa akin. "

Nakinig silang lahat at nakatingin sa akin.  
"Totoo bang kayo ni Ivan?" 
Tanong ni Pearl. 

"Hindi, I don't even know a guy named Ivan."


Ania's POV

Nawala lang ako ng saglit naging interrogation na ang nangyari. Wagas din silang makapag-interrogate, mas wagas pa sa pulis. 

Naabutan ko ang sagot ni Ate na wala siyang kakilalang Ivan.  So,  walang Ivan?  Walang secret boyfie na tinatago si Ate sa akin? Sayang eager naman sana akong makita 'tong Ivan na pinagsasabi nila. 

"Hindi mo kakilala si Ivan so ibig sabihin,  hindi totoo ang ibang mga sabi-sabi kaugnay kay Ivan." sabi ni Ate Angelina. 

"So bakit ka nawala bigla?" dagdag pa niya.  

Natahimik si Ate at alam ko kung bakit bigla siyang nawala sa school.    Nakapagmove-on na ako sa pangyayari, tanggap ko naman na patay na ako pero alam kong nanatili parin si Ate sa panahon ng pagkamatay ko. 

Sam's POV

Tinanong siya tungkol sa kanyang biglaan na pagkawala sa University pero naging tahimik siya na tila ba'y may naalala siya. Gayundin ang ghost na mukhang guilty o tila ba may kinalaman siya sa mga pangyayari na iyon.  

Tiningnan ko ulit si Amaya napansin ko ang kanyang naluluhang mga mata.  Mga matang nawalan ng mahal sa buhay.  Mga matang nagsasabing, 'kasalanan ko ang lahat'.  Mga matang kabisadong-kabisado ko. Mga matang taglay ko din, dati.  

"Okay,  I think that's enough.  The food's getting cold and lunch time is almost over so we better hurry." sabi ko sa kanila trying to change the topic.  

Malumanay na ngumiti si Amaya sa akin and mouthed the word thank you as I slightly smiled back at her.

The dense white bones and skulls formed a mountain, at the sight of which, the onlookers would tremble in fear!
A black figure was standing on the top of the mountain of bones and skulls!
When Ghost Deity's incarnation was engulfed by the Soul-Eating Skull, this black figure suddenly opened his eyes!
Without a moment's notice, his eyes turned as scarlet as the sun.
"My incarnation was killed by someone! That's impossible..."

As soon as she walked out the door, Gao Ran called Qin Chu. The latter asked anxiously, "So? Did you find her?"
"Bro, I looked for her high and low but seriously, I didn't find anyone who looked like Huo Mian, not even 30%. Are you sure you saw right?" Gao Ran had gone through countless photos of women, but he didn't find anyone who had features similar to Huo Mian's.
"Okay, I got it." Then, Qin Chu hung up. He frowned; it seemed like things were now more complicated than ever.
