'Uncle?! Who could be the Uncle Aunt Sussy is talking about?! And wasn't I kidnapped? How come I am here?'. Bella thought. She stepped out of the tiny bedroom and was startled to see Mr Andrews, sitting beside the dining table and waving at her. 
"Come dear! Let's haven breakfast… I am really hungry!" Bella rolled her eyes and looked at Andrews.
She quickly brushed her teeth and sat beside Andrews, her gaze fixed upon him… she wanted an explanation!
"Okay! I'll tell you. It was that I happened to pass by when those men took you inside that car. So I followed them and started a fight…." Andrews told Bella the entire incident… everything except the presence of Peter. Andrews did not know why Peter asked him to promise to not utter his name infront of Bella. But Andrews has seen a deep feeling in Peter's eyes towards his little girl!

'Thank you Uncle Andrews!' Said Bella, fully convinced. She was deeply touched knowing there was someone in this world who still cared for her. This feeling can alone make her live longer…
"I happened to meet Aunt Sussy on the way and she offered to help us…" Andrews added to make his little lies more convincing.
Bella gazed at Aunt Sussy and smiled. Aunt Sussy seemed to be nodding her head from one face to the other. She was surprised when Bella talked in signs! What! Can't she speak? Sussy always thought that the young girl just preferred to be silent while she worked harder than anyone she ever saw. Sussy felt sad for the girl, nevertheless she tried to cheer up her mood…
"Come on! Enough with the discussions! Let's have breakfast! I can already hear rumbling sound from my stomach!" Sussy changed the moody atmosphere of the room. The three of them had a silent breakfast and Bella sincerely thanked Aunt Sussy for her generous hospitality.

Aunt Sussy has met Peter too in the library. Even though she never dared to doubt Bella, she knew from the first site of both of them that they were deeply in love. Peter regularly visited the library ever since he first came there. Sussy could see that reading was not his purpose at all. He would stole momentary gazes at Bella now and then and sheepishly wink at Aunt Sussy as an apology. She always liked the young gentleman. But now, seeing he wanted to hide about his presence the previous night, Sussy knew there was something wrong between them. 
"Of Course!! I would love to!" motioned Bella excitedly. Bella too loved working in the library where she could read as much she liked. She knew she was not safe now. Even though she escaped the previous day, she could not entirely depend on her luck each time. And she couldn't endanger the life of Aunt Sussy. She has to get out of here too, soon… before they locate her. But where should she go now?! She was tired of this life where she was temporarily shuttled between people…. Peter looked at the piled up documents beside him. The lady in front of him has done quite a good job. She has done her homework and after studying it thoroughly, he knew he was getting near to his target. But this was not enough. This little evidences they have collected against Mr Fernandez would not even hurt a hair follicle of him. But he has to make it quick. Andrews shared his opinion that he should drive slower, Rebecca. For once, she told him not to worry, because she could see if someone was coming. Without fear and with full fuel, they suddenly came to a dead end. From this well camouflaged cul-de-sac, it has suddenly turned into a kind of secret driveway. Slowly drove inside. A lot of people were inside with a gun. They controlled the routes. An airfield in the middle for which planes were waiting. The goods are stored on the side. There were many different containers in different colors. They stopped in front of the airfield. A man of dark skin and a black beard came to the driver's window. He held the handlebars tensely after Rebecca opened the window. Immediately afterwards, she climbed out onto the roof. At almost 90 kilometres per hour, they continued. Andrews didn't know what the driver was doing, but he worried about her. She jumped on the container on the roof of the car. From there, she ran off. She jumped into the air, where one of the robots on the motorcycles fell to the ground after she landed in front of him. Rebecca almost fell over, but she was able to hold the steering wheel honestly. In the meantime, the other two robots have overtaken them. One on one side and the other on the opposite side. They drove against the container so that it was suspended from the car. Andrews, who changed seats, tried to destroy the robots by driving on the road. Incredibly, he was able to destroy one of these robots that had lost control and collided with one tree. Rebecca was now behind the last robot. The motorcycle struggled to travel even faster, but in the end the two robots drove side by side. Rebecca pushed the enemy to the container, where the motorcycle fell and the robot broke apart. Some of his body parts fell under the trailer. Then one of the tires burst because it hit something sharp. Although it was just a hoop, Andrews felt a jolt in front. He lost control a short time later, so he went to one of these fatteners. Luckily, the car had an R-back, so his bruises aren't very bad. Rebecca stopped briefly, looked at Andrews. For the first time ever, she felt pain and fear in her life. She helped the driver, who was unconscious, out of the car. "What did he capture?" asked Rebecca, so that they could somehow bring him back to life. She approached him, which she kissed him for when he opened his eyes. A romance, as in The Sleeping Beauty. He was like i'm iated. She was also embarrassed when she got up. He, right after that. He had large and deep wounds on his body. The container was destroyed at the door. They stood in front of an almost closed door into which one could see through. Three of us could see a group of wizards in dark coats standing around a circle. One of the members standing around these circles pulled down the hood. You could see the person's face, and Gabriel was amazed. It was Louisanne who was one of the members. Tina makes the remark when she saw Gabriel's face that he knew her. Anne, Tina and Gabriel wondered what the group of wizards would do. The inner circle glowed brightly. Something should come out of the circle. Suddenly they began to say something: "therists". A wind has started to blow through the whole sports room. The front doors flew away, for which the three heroes had been discovered. It was too late, but they did. They stepped in. Gabriel and Tina took out their swords. Anne took out her hands. A dark, black cloud began to form over the circle of the wizards. This took on a shape that had red eyes. They were still talking to their master. Although the wizards had seen the trio, they were not allowed to move, otherwise their mission would fail. The wind blew stronger and Gabriel, who did not give up, was first. The red eyes were directed at Gabriel. Lightning then fell on him, which he was able to fend off with his sword. Gabriel struggled with pain. Anne and Tina, who were repeatedly blown away, tried to get to Gabriel as soon as possible, but the wind didn't make it easy for them. Gabriel fell to the ground heals his sword in the right hand in the air. His hair was scattered. With his last powers, he has severed a sorcerer's leg. Natasha Giroux and her best friend, Sallie Andrews were walking to their lockers after school. They were laughing about a conversation they had in Biology class. 

" Natasha,  what is an ideal boyfriend or husband to you?" Sallie asked. 

Natasha smiled and replied. "I don't even think about it.  I told you every single time."

"But, you're beautiful and every guy wants to be with you.  Even that Queen Bee Taylor gets jealous of you."

"I can never be a good girlfriend or wife to anyone. I just wanted t to be single by choice.  If I do feel lonely,  I'm just gonna keep a dog."

"Whatever Natasha. But your single label is gonna disappear soon." Sallie said as she winked her eye at her best friend. 

Both of them walked out the school and separated ways.  Sallie walked home and Natasha got into her car as her driver opopenedened the door for her.  She was listening to 'Can't Stop The Feeling' by Justin Timberlake in the car on her journey home.  She did not know that what her friend joked about was going to be true. 

Natasha was the daughter of famous businessman Cole Giroux. She was born with a silver spoon in her mouth but she was very humble and kind towards everyone.  That was one reason why everyone loved Natasha, unlike Taylor Hudson who had the heart of rotting a garbage. People who are not equal to her by status and beauty were considered a contagious disease. 

When Natasha got into her home,  she saw her parents talking to Mr and Mrs Watson. Their son, Damien was also there.The Watsons were a very famous family.  Mr Watson  was a businessman just like her father and Mrs Watson or well known as Aubry was a fashion designer known all over the world.  The Watsons were famous for donating for the poor and needy all over the world.  Their son, Damien who was 21 and it was said that he was going to take over his father's business.  

Damien looked like a Greek god to to eyes of most girls and women. Natasha has heard that many girls and women confessed their feelings towards him but all he did was rejecting them rudely.  She sympathised the females who were left heart broken by him.  But Natasha was not mesmerised by his looks.  She knew looks were deceiving. They could be hiding a beast inside the souls of an individual.  

"Hey, Natasha. You're back from  school? The Watsons and we had just finished talking." Mrs Giroux started.

"Yes, Mom.  Hello,  everyone. What brought the Watsons here?  What did you talk about?"

" Um,  Natasha. It's about your marriage with Damien in 2 months." Natasha's eyes widen and she dropped her books she had been holding in her hands due to the shock.  She was supposed to get married to Damien Watson?  At the age of sixteen? 

"Mom,  Dad,  what's wrong with both of you?  I've got to graduate from high school and go to college.  I need to get a job.  I don't want to get married. I told you that years ago."

"Yes dear.  But this is to strengthen the bond of the Giroux and Watsons.  Mr Watson and I are going to be partners and this is part of the deal." Her father said. 

This infuriated Natasha as tears rolled down her cheeks.  She did not expect her own parents to do something like this towards her. 

"Now,  I get it. All you care in your life is your business and not me.  That's why you came up with this deal. You think you can just be happy to see yourself as a top businessman and doing this to me? I wonder what your reaction was when my mother was pregnant with me.  Maybe you wanted to abort me but you couldn't because the media got to know and you needed to keep your reputation."

Natasha just stormed up the stairs to her room.  She locked the door and started sobbing with agony.  She could not believe what her parents had done. Why should she get married at 16? She did not want to be with someone.  She wanted to live alone where no one would disturb her or order her around.  She heard a knock on the door. 

"Honey,  just come out now.  Let me explain." It was her mother. 

"Leave me alone or you'll end up seeing my dead body." Natasha yelled at the top of her voice.  Her mother left and the room was filled with the souls of Natasha's sobbing.  She took up her phone and soaked a number. 

"Hey Natasha! What's up?" Sallies jolly voice was heard on the phone.  

"S...S... Sallie, c. .can you come h.. here now?" Natasha spoke as she wept. She needed to talk to her nest friend in person immediately.

"Redstone is right, Andrews," the goddess said, her voice smooth and light. "You are not allowed to hunt the dead emperor's people."

"But they insulted you, my lady," Andrews argued, not lifting his head. "I would not let such a blatant show of disrespect stand."

"You are simply searching for any reason to have these three killed," the goddess replied. "If you want to kill them, you will need a good reason, such as everyone else does. You cannot simply impose your aggression. That would be murder fueled by your prejudice. I won't stop you, but you'll pay for your misdeeds in the afterlife."

Andrews did not reply.

"Are we so interesting that we would deserve a visit from the young daughter?" Nog questioned.

"My father is dead and gone, Captain Nog," the goddess replied. "I do not wish to be reminded of those times. Please, do not address me in such a way." 

It was an awkward meeting. The goddess simply sat and continued to smile at the pirates as the two followers kept their heads bowed.

"Well, I didn't really have much else to say," the goddess said, breaking the silence. "I wish you three luck."

"We appreciate it," Dart replied. "We'll need all the luck we can get."

"Oh, I'm confident you'll make it to the mainland," the goddess said. "I'm wishing you luck for something else."

The pirates looked at the young woman with questioning glances, but within a blink of an eye she disappeared from their sights.

"You can lift your heads now," Neko told the two fearful worshippers. "Your goddess has left."

The train made it to the city of Mish without any further incident. More industrial park than anything, Mish was a place of factories, mining, and smokey skies. The countryside around the city was littered with mining operations, leading companies to build their facilities close by rather than have resources shipped out. The many smokestacks of the dozens of factories made the area always blanketed in a dreary darkness.

The train pulled into Redstone's private railway where it was directed to a track to rest and let its passengers off. When the doors opened to the small platform of the station, several men in white coats and a couple in navy uniforms were waiting for the passengers.

"Welcome back, sir," the man in front greeted Redstone. "It's always a pleasure having you here."

"Hello, Derek," Redstone replied. "Please take us to the weapons division. I'm not interested in wasting any time on this trip. Things have been less than enjoyable and I wish to go home as soon as I am able."

"Yes, sir," Derek acknowledged. "If you and your guests will just follow me I'll take us to our weapons demonstration hall and we'll get started on the tests you wanted to see."

From the station there was a dedicated trolley that took them to the main research facility. It was a fancy thing, with an interior reminiscent in color of Redstone's office. Everyone sat in wait for a few minutes as the steam engine propelled them along. Redstone's men kept their eyes on the three pirates without distraction.

As they left the trolley and walked through various white halls of the research facility, the trio kept their guards up as there were always Redstone's men behind them. Andrews had spoken at length with the navy men that were present but the pirates were unable to overhear. When the party made it to the testing hall for the demonstration, Andrews also sent a message out via the vacuum mail tube near the door. Behavior the trio would not take lightly.

The testing hall was several hundred yards long. Near the door was a table with many steam-powered weapons and their various necessary accessories or attachments with them. At the far end several targets could be seen placed upon various different materials. Dart and Nog didn't know what they were looking at, but Neko had a decent idea as the mechanic for the ship. The men in white coats were quick to make sure each weapon was ready for testing as the one who had spoken earlier got to the presentation.

"Mr. Redstone, these are the latest prototypes we have in working order," Derek said. "Each of these can be put into production with your approval and we can have one hundred made a day."

"I hope you only brought the ones that can accomplish what I asked," Redstone replied. "We need them to be able to penetrate the armor skin of a fish-man."

"These will do the job with ease," Derek assured him.

After a few final checks to make sure everything was hooked up properly, Derek took a rifle in his hands and took aim. The weapon looked very simple to make with a wooden frame and metal barrel, but the mechanism above the trigger was bulky and had hoses connected to it that led to a machine nearby. 

With a squeeze of the trigger the gun let out a sharp and short-lived hiss of pressure that shot a bullet down range. The ringing of the metal target told of its strike and with a lever pull to his right, the mount for the target followed a railing until it was right in front of the crowd.

"There we are," Derek said. "I'm not the best for aim, but it has clearly shot right through this metal plate. This is the same metal that can be found on armored cars. It will surely be enough force to kill a fish man."

"Surely?" Redstone questioned. "So, you aren't sure then?"

"Well, we don't have any measurements or samples to test," Derek explained. "The best we can do is go by firsthand accounts of what their skin is like."

Redstone gave out a sigh of irritation.

"If that's all we have to work with, then fine," he said. "What about these other weapons? Are they all essentially the same?"

"Some of them are, yes," Derek answered. "These will all be a part of the ship, connected to the regulator and reservoir that we'll outfit below deck. These rifles will likely be set along the railing so that the crew can defend the deck. The larger gun there would be mounted to a place that can overlook the entire ship as it can fire much more rapidly. The rest are a few variances in design. The shortest one fires a collection of steel balls rather than a single bullet."

Redstone thought to himself for a moment before turning to Nog, who seemed a little lost.

"What do you think?" Redstone asked the captain. "Is this strong enough?"

Nog looked at the gun for a moment before gesturing to Neko with her head.

"Go punch that metal plate," Nog told him.

"I wouldn't," Derek advised. "That's incredibly strong armor plating. You'll break your hand."

Neko ignored the researcher and stepped around the tables to the target. With a planting of his feet and twist of the hips he sent his right fist into the metal and it clanged loudly as it was broken from its mount. The armor plate fell to the floor with a racket and Neko turned around right after.

"That feels about right, more or less," he told his crewmates. "These guns should do the trick."

The crowd of Redstone's men were shocked at the display of power, but neither the navy men nor the big boss himself were so surprised.

"There you have it," Redstone said. "These will do. Give one hundred of each of these and send them to Liadreh. The pirate ship will be outfitted with what is necessary and I'll start marketing the rest for limited sale."

As soon as the human calendar reached 1000, the world came down upon them. No longer content with the many islands and scattered dock-towns, the bestial peoples grew violent and lashed out at the main continent. The humans, who exclusively owned the land, fought hard and long to keep their precious footing in the vast water world. But humans proved no match for the brute force and numbers of the beast people.

Those who did not fall were scattered. Forced away from the continent, the remaining humans took refuge among the islands and dock-towns, building upon what the bestial peoples left behind. Although anger and resentment was strong, the power of the human race had become insignificant. In time, life became calm and mankind settled into its new accommodations.

As centuries passed, humans forgot the power and numbers they once possessed. The romantic idea of their own continent became a bedtime story for children. Humans adapted to life at sea and ocean and never did it seem out of the ordinary.
