Ilona kembali ke kedai coffe shop dengan lemas namun di sambut gembira para karyawan teman sepekerjaannya "hebat Lo tong ada pelanggan nyerbu semua isi toko sampe abis ajibb bener Lo bocah" salah satu kawannya berkata seperti itu, namun Ilona bingung 'mereka gila ya itu pasti bukan ulah gw lah jelas- jelas selembarannya ilang gara-gara gw teledor' Ilona bergumam dalam hati. dan bersaam saat Ilona bengong dengan pikirannya yang ruet bos mereka menyapa Ilona dan mengajak Ilona berbincang empat mata. Today was the first day of the second semester in the central Kingdom's magic and knight academy, the finest school in the central Kingdom, located about 4 hours by carriage outside of Kingstead. Originally established as a military training facility the academy is almost entirely self sufficient, with its own well and large food stores and several large dormitories that combined to make the facility feel more like a frontier fortress than the academy it now operated as. Students of all ages would enroll based on performance in the obligatory 3 year primary education, or simply by paying for admission. Mai and her roommate Venessa were part of the former category, having grown up in Kingstead as childhood friends both showed academic prowers and above average magic potential enrolled together and were now second year students in the magic course. 
"Morning Vanessa and Mai!"

Meeting the bright and constantly energetic Rudy on her way to class Mai instantly felt her tiredness blow away, in her opinion it was simply impossible for anyone to not be affected by his bright and cheerful presence.
"Did you girls hear the amazing news? We got 3 new teachers and they're all general subject teachers so we'll meet them all today!"

Having made their way to class on time without issue Mai, Rudy and Vanessa were immediately greeted by another surprise when their classroom teacher started the day out with an announcement.

As their teacher quickly moved the process along none of her students had time to be surprised by the extremely rare occurrence of students transferring in before the person in question walked in the door and introduced herself. The second Mai saw the new transfer student she was awe.

The transfer student was a beastkin girl around her own age with short stature and long brown hair and brown eyes that had an overall mysterious air around her.
"Hello, my name is Mare. There's no reason to get along with me as I was forced to join this class so please just ignore my existence."
Not even looking at anyone the transfer student Mare spoke in a flat and unenthusiastic voice that made Mai really believe she was being forced into joining the class. After her short self introduction the entire class froze, and the transfer student apparently took that as acceptance of her self introduction before sitting down in a random empty chair.

After the slightly awkward start to the day the class went through their moning classes without any more issues, and the new student revealed herself to be a genius able to answer any question the teacher threw her way, but like she indicated in her self introduction she didn't socialize at all.
The morning and noon quietly passed and before anyone knew  it was finally time to meet some of their new teachers in a new personal defence training course. After changing out from their school uniforms into gym clothes their class made their way to one of the countless practice fields that were a tiny bit cold in the autumn wind.
"Welcome to the new personal self defence course, my name is Lux and I will handle anti personnel self defence training."
"And I am Terra Williams, I will handle anti monster personnel self defence training. After an introductory period were we will both be present for instructions, after which will be individual lectures."
As her two new teachers took a moment to introduce themselves and briefly talk about the class Mai took the moment to commit them to memory. The first treacher with the unusual name appeared to be the oldest of them and carried herself with a certain mature and professional aura around her that made Mai naturally take everything she said seriously. The personal self defence teacher stood at around 1 meter and 80 centimeters tall with short white hair and strange amber coloured eyes combined with an athletic scare riddled body that made her have a quite unique appearance. The anti monster self defence trainer in question had long black hair cut in a slightly strange manner where the one side was sort while the rest remained long, and bright slightly unnatural red eyes that reminded Mai more of gemstones than normal eyes. she was of similar height and also had an extremely well trained athletic build visible under her light clotting that seemed to emphasize ease of movement above all else.
"First of all we will need to assess the overall physical fitness of each student, as such we will start the class off with a series of exercises. First off-"
"Why the hell should we do that? I come from a prestigious family of knights, I know how to handle myself."
But as Mai expected some of the class didn't quite take to the new teachers. A group of noble students lead by a viscount youth named Andrew that truly was the example of a noble knight with his tall and solid structure combined with flowing blonde hair and bright blue eyes.
(If only his personality matched the exterior…)
Mai could only help but sigh at her classmates behavior. Ever since the first day of class Andrew and the group that had formed around him had been extremely rude to teachers, using his personal and family connections to act as he pleased, skipping out on class and getting advantageous grades.
"Okay let's do it this way then, anyone that can pass a quick test will be completely executed from class and pass without any issues. How about that?"
Seemingly having expected this issue to pop up the personal defence teacher proposed a way to anyone to get out of training, but as Mai had predicted Andrew didn't take.
"As if! I seems you two are new here so I'll tell you how this works, of you don't want to be fired you will listen to what I say!"
That had happened a few times before, Mai clearly remembered the first time Andrew had used his connections to not only have a teacher fired, but also compealty ruined that person's career. After that incident the unofficial stance of the academy became to ignore anything Andrew did, and just leave him and his group be.
"Yeah how about no. In this class your ass is mine, that means you will listen to my instructions or suffer the consequences."
Completely dropping her warm and caring attitude Mai felt something changed about her new personal defence teacher as she walked towards Andrews group with a large smile on her face.
"This is my class, how you act will entirely decide how enjoyable your experience here is. Now I don't give a shit about your family Andrew, or that your father is a viscount that thinks his pathetic excuse for a son will become a better person just because he cheats his way through this academy. What I care about is the task I have been assigned, and competing it."
With a large smile on her face Lux radiated concentrated bloodlust so strong that even the inexperienced knightling picked up on it.
"W-whatever! I just need to pass your stupid test to be free from class right!? Then let's get on with it!"
"How exilent of you to come to such a conclusion. Now the test is quite simple, you just have to defeat one of your classmates in a light spar, Mare get up here."

After crash landing in what turns out to be a fantasy world, the orbital marine Dax will have to fight the powers that
occupy the world to reclaim the technology that got stranded along with him and eventually repair his crashed ship
to return to his own world.
On the way he discovers the rule breaking power of mana, a special particle that seems naive to the world he now
is a part of. Feeling seriously outgunned Dax places a priority on regaining his lost weaponry that is scattered
throughout the world, ranging in size and effectiveness from electromagnetically powered assault rifles,
powered exoskeletons and autonomous drones from the size of a spying UAV to heavy assault ships.
But the marine is not alone in his search those weapons, the powers of the world he now finds himself a part of is
quickly realizing that something outside their realm of understanding has graced the planet and that those artefacts
trapped inside large floating black sphere’s hold vast strategic value. Dax is then faced with a complex problem,
he must secure the technology that he needs to leave while at the same time make sure the tools of war from his world is not misused at the cost of being made a target by powers he fails to fully understand.

On his way Dax will have run ins with various powers, some of them hostile, some of them a bit more amenable to persuasion and mutual cooperation. After all, what is a knight, king, angel, demon or grand wizard to a railgun or even a tactical class high energy laser in orbit?

They’re soft targets.


For the record, English is not my first language, so there might be some spelling/grammar mistakes here and there. I’ve been getting better at writing over the last year or so, and have plans to go back and edit my old chapters, but it’s really hard to find the time.

Andrews was really happy for the girl. So, my little angel is going to get married. He did not know whether to feel happy or sad... He felt as if the girl abandoned the search of her father's work. But wasn't it in a way right? The poor girl has a right to be happy in her life too.. If she chooses her future this way, he will be on her side. He will bury those pasts and never  allow it's shadow to fall on her as far as she is happy . He was relieved when Lilly told that the boy is really good and going to take great care of Bella. Still, he wanted to bless the couple. But how will he go? He can't go empty handed...  Can he? He might be the only person from the girl's side and he really couldn't make Bella look small in front of her new family. He felt really disappointed that he was so poor and penniless. He has spent his entire life serving at the Mathew's without asking anything in return in a way to punish himself for his evil doings.. but right now, he wanted to earn, to have some money in his hand to buy a gift to his Bella. 
The old man waited for the next dawn to search for all sorts of petty jobs. He didn't mind whatever the job is, as far as the payment was good. He did not mind the burning sun piercing his loose and hanging skin, neither he bothered the mild shower late at nights. He worked day and night and counted the amount he received. 
"Few days more.. and I can really afford to meet her!!" Andrews smiled as he counted the money he has earned so far.

As soon as Jane left Peter's mansion, Peter went to the rose garden. He walked past the rose bushes which all looked dry and withered. He walked across the path that was once led to him by Bella. He opened Lawrence's study. He gazed into the table and was not surprised to find a fresh set of papers piled up on the table that stood out from the dusty old heap..
He took it and smiled as he saw the torn papers from the file that had caught his eye earlier in the after noon.
But to his utter despair, these were not enough.. Yes, this could prove that Fernandez has done something really evil in hiding the real author of the epic novel. But there was still no evidence that he was behind the murder of Lawrence. It was only a vague perception of Peter but he believed it to be true. These papers would not be enough to put Fernandez behind the bars forever. He could still easily get away with it.
'I want this man to pay for his misdeeds .... I want to see him miserable.. I have to play the same act for longer than expected with Jane. But I have to be careful for a while since Fernandez has already started doubting me. Should stay clean for some days until I can pounce on him more powerfully the next time.' Peter thought to himself.

Bella took a shower and came out of the bathroom. She gazed at herself before the long mirror in her room..
Her room...
It was something that she never had since her birth. She remembered the broken piece of mirror on which she looked at her face everyday. She never got ready like a girl but preferred to stuff her long hair into her wig. The wig not only had hid her hair but her entire fear... It was her identity which she had left at Peter's mansion. There were quite a lot of her things that she left there.. her entire past... Those memories that were bitter and her mother's diary. She has left one more thing there which she would never dare to admit.
She touched her bare chest and pointed to her heart. She wished she could fall in love again, but this time with Mark.
The long mirror reflected a strange strength to her.
She sat down to write ...

Pumasok na sila Kuya sa office ni Mama at ako balik sa ginagawa ko. Napatulala ako sa harap ng mga papeles na matatapos ko na pala. Nakakapagod rin palang maging accountant sometimes I realize is this really what I want?

Sa pagtira ko kasama ni Mama ay masaya naman kasi alam kong mag-isa na si Ma at isa pa it make us closer to each other.

I accept the post because I want to help her parang ayon na ang magagawa ko dahil alam kong naging masama akong anak because I didn't do what she wanted me. My mother wants me to take the psychologist board exam and so my father.

Napahinga ako ng malalim at napaisip…

I still didn't do what I really wanted.

Napatingin ako sa labas at eksakto naman na kalalabas lang ni Pola galing sa opisina ni Mama then an idea flickered on my mind.

Maybe this is the right time…


"Pola…" Binuksan niya yung pintuan at nagulat ng makita niya ako sa labas ng pintuan ng apartment namin dati. "Oh Thiara anong ginagawa mo dito? Mag-aalas –onse na…"

"I need your help."


"Salamat talaga Pola, tatanawin ko etong malaking utang na loob."

"Ano ka ba para ka naman others…"

"Oo nga pala magiging ate na kita!" At namula yung mukha ni Pola bago siya napangiti. "Wag ka ngang ganyan…"

"Naku kilala ko si Kuya Tux at sigurado ako kung may dadalhin man siya sa altar ikaw yun at masayang-masaya ako para sa inyo." Niyakap ko siya ng mahigpit.

"Alam kong magiging mahirap ang pakiusap ko pero ngayon pa lang ay nagpapasalamat na ako at humihingi ako ng pasensiya dahil puro problema na lang ang dinudulot ko sa iyo."

"I know that…" At alam ko naman na nagbibiro lang siya sa sinabi niya. 

"But I have to do this because I believe this is the right thing to do."

Tumango si Pola at ngumiti, alam kong naiintindihan niya ako.

"Ikaw na ang bahala kay Mama, paki-alagaan siya at pakibigay na lang etong sulat ko sa kanila."

Tumango si Pola at binigay ko sa kanya ang mga sulat ko. Hindi ko talaga kayang magpaalam sa kanila.

Mahigpit kong hinawakan ang traveling bag ko at naglakad na palayo sa bahay namin.

Bago ko tapusin ang sinimulan ko kailangan ko munang may puntahan.

Kailangan ko siyang puntahan para ikapapanatag ng sarili ko…

Tinitigan pa niya ako kanina at halos mangawit na ako sa kakangiti sa kanya. Nagbago na ba ang hitsura ko sa loob ng dalawang buwan? 

Naglalakad na siya papalapit sa akin at lalo akong napangiti.

"Thiara?"

Napatango ako, akala ko nakalimutan na ako ni… "Aling Susan!"

"Naku pagpasensiyahan mo na at hindi kita masyadong namukhaan dahil alam mo na tumatanda na ako at isa pa'y lalo kang gumaganda!" Hindi pa rin nawawala ang pagiging bolera nitong ni Aling Susan. Hindi naman siguro gumaganda, blooming lang… Kay Keanne? 

"Salamat ho Aling Susan kayo talaga… Kamusta na ho kayo?"

"Halika't pumasok ka para naman makapag-usap tayong bata ka at tiyak matutuwa si Keanne pagnakita ka niya..."

Nagulat ako sa sinabi ni Aling Susan at hindi ko napigilan mapangiti habang naglalakad kami papasok ng bungalow. Totoo kaya yung sinabi Aling Susan na matutuwa nga kaya si Keanne pag nakita niya ako? Kinakabahan tuloy ako lalo… Ano na kayang hitsura niya? 

Aaminin ko I missed this house very much. Wala naman siyang pinagbago, maganda pa rin at napakaayos ng sala…

"Ipagtitimpla muna kina juice at kukuha muna ako ng makakain sa kusina." Tumango ako at naglakad si Aling Susan papunta sa kusina.

Habang hinihintay ko siya ay napasilip ako sa may swimming pool, may nakita akong babaeng nakatalikod at naririnig kong may lalaking tumatawa.

Mukhang masaya yung lalaki at ng nakita ko kung sino.

Bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko at napangiti ako.

Si Keanne…

Ngayon ko lang siya nakitang sobrang saya at kitang-kita sa mukha niya na tawa siya ng tawa.

Napalitan ng lungkot ang naramdaman kong tuwa. Nung mga panahon kasing andito ako at ako ang kasama niya, ni minsan hindi ko siya nakitang naging masaya. Ewan ko pero parang nagseselos ba ako sa babaeng kasama niya.

"Naku nakakatawa talaga silang tignan…"

Napatingin ako sa likuran ko, si Aling Susan na may dalang juice at hotcake.

"Sino po yung kasama ni Keanne?"

"Ah si Ilona, bagong physical therapist ni Keanne." Siya pala ang pinalit ni Mrs. Lacey sa akin at mukhang nagkakasundo sila ni Keanne hindi tulad nung ako pa ang physical therapist niya ako.

Inabot sa akin ni Aling Susan yung juice at uminom ako. "Alam mo bang kakakuha lang ng batang yan ng board exam at nung nalaman niyang kailangan ni Madam ng physical therapist para kay Keanne ay pumunta siya agad dito."

Tumango ako sa sinabi ni Aling Susan at ngumiti kahit na nasasaktan na ako sa nakikita ko. Tinutulungan ni Ilona na maglakad si Keanne at si Keanne hindi mawala ang ngiti sa mukha niya. Napahigpit ako ng hawak sa baso parang hindi ko na kakayanin ang nakikita ko.

"Ahm Aling Susan, kailangan ko na hong umalis."

Napatingin sa akin si Aling Susan at mukhang nagulat. "Ha? Ang bilis naman ata... Hindi mo ba kakamustahin si Keanne?"

Ngumiti ako sa kanya. Hindi na kailangan mukhang okay naman siya. "Naku okay naman ho na siya, pumunta lang ho ako dito para tignan kong may progreso na po sa situation niya at mukhang inaalagaan naman ho siya ni Ilona ng mabuti." Liar! 

Tumango si Aling Susan at buti na lang nakumbinsi ko siya. "Isa pa po malayo pa ho ang pupuntahan ko."

"Saan ka ba pupuntahan hija?"

"Mula ho rito ay didiretso na ho ako ng Baguio."

"Aba'y ang layo... Ano nga palang gagawin mo doon?"

"Mag-aaral ho para sa board exam, may review center ho kasi na pagmamay-ari ang Tito ko dun at nabanggit ko na rin ho ang plano kong yun kay Mrs. Lacey."

Napatango-tango si Aling Susan at napangiti sabay yakap sa akin.

"Ingat ka na lang doon at salamat sa pagbisita mo. Kung makakaluwag ka'y bisitahin mo ulit kami rito at sana'y makapag-usap kayo ni Keanne." Sana nga po…

Tumango ako at ngumiti sa kanya. "Sige po mauuna na ako..."

Naglakad na ako papunta sa pintuan at bago pa ako makalabas narinig ko ang boses ni Keanne. Sa wakas… Sobrang na-miss ko yun…

"Really? Yes! Thank you so much Ilona! Aling Susan may good news ho ako!"
Napapikit ako, sobrang sakit palang marinig yung boses ng taong gusto mo pero hindi siya sa iyo nagpapasalamat. Yes, I admit now, I am falling for Keanne pero mukhang imposible siyang mahulog sa akin…

Nagmadali na akong lumabas ng bahay at dumiretso sa dala kong Chevrolet. Pina-init ko agad yung engine at pinaandar ko yung kotse, pero bago tuliyan akong makalayo ay  sumulyap muna ako sa bungalow nila Keanne.

(Andrew)
"Where did you get that voice jar?" Andrew asks.

"I got it from the black magic market," Samantha replies.

"Huh?" Andrew confused.

"Of course. You don't know. Your a sword bearer, sword bearers are useless when it comes to magic. A black magic market is a place that illegal magic gets sold to. you can basically find anything illegal there," Samantha explains.

"So we're can I find a Black magic market?" Andrew asks

"There's multiple places but the one closest to here is the one at Harrendail Kingdom," says Samantha while putting the jar back into her bag.

"That's where I'm headed, lucky I don't need to turn in the opposite direction to find the BMM (Black Magic Market)," Andrew wiping his forehead from relief.

"So are we done here? if we are, then DIE!" Samantha shouts as she throws a acid potion towards Andrew.

"What?!" Andrew shouts as one of his eyes gets burnt from the acid.

"Hehehe," Samantha chuckles.

"ARRRGGG!" Andrew shouts in pain. 

(Becky)
The Cyclops has collapsed and Becky and the others have came out victorious.

"Ok now onto Andrew. Where is Andrew?" Becky asks.

"I don't know. The only thing I know is that a dash of lighting went across the field while me & the Cyclops were fighting," Cruiser explains.

"Jezzzzzz... Why did you have to take of like that?" Clair asks Cruiser, while healing him.

"Sorry Princess Clair. I won't do a stunt like that ever again," Cruiser apologizes.

Clair and Cruiser start looking at each other and blushing.

"Awkward..." Evan whispers, breaking the romance tension in the air.

"What? Be quiet Evan! What's awkward. Nothing happened and nothing was happening," Clair nervously stuttering nonsense.

"Uh..." says Cruiser.

They both (Clair and Cruiser) Look in the opposite directions of each other.

"Anyway which direction did you see that dash of lighting headed," Becky asks.

"I saw it going that way," Cruiser replies while pointing more in the forest.

While the team was patching themselves up, they hear a loud yell coming from the same direction of light was headed.

ARRRGGG!

"Huh!?" everyone rushes towards the loud noise. When there, they (Clair, Becky, Cruiser & Evan) see Andrew on the floor with his hand covering one of his eyes.

"What have you done!?" Becky shouts aggressively.

"Nothing much. Just accidentally, but accurately spilled magic acid on his (Andrew) eye, making one of his eyes blind forever, Even healing magic can't heal it. HEHEHE!" Samantha chuckles as she takes her leave by casting smoke everywhere and then disappearing into thin air. 

"You! get back here NOW!" Becky shouting at nothing.

"I think she's far gone from here. Her teleportation spell was pretty grand, she could be anywhere within here to Harrendail Kingdom," Evan explains.

Andrew rips a part of clothing from his T-shirt and wraps it over his burnt eye and ties it behind his head.

"How could I be a fool? how could i just let her surprise me like that," says Andrew while sitting on the ground with his head in his arms.

"Hey. Don't be so worked up. You still have us (Clair, Evan & Cruiser) with you, so if you need someone to fall on you got us, ok?" Becky cheering up Andrew.

Andrew looks up towards Becky & the other behind her.

"Yes not all has lost, it's just my eye & plus, I know where I should look when we get to that kingdom that is taking forever to get to. HAHA HAHA!" Andrew laughs, regaining his attitude.

Becky pulls Andrew up onto his feet.

"Welcome back ma dude," says Evan patting Andrews back.

"Same here," says Cruiser.

Andrew looks at Clair.

"Fine. Whatever they said," says Clair.

"Ok let's head out," says Andrew, as he and the others head closer, towards Harrendail Kingdom.

[Walkway]
After a long journey back towards the footpath that they left off, they begin traveling again, getting more closer towards the kingdom.

"Do you know how much distance we could've got? if somebody (Cruiser) didn't plundered into some random forest," Clair hinting towards Cruiser.

"I get it. I'm sorry and won't do it again," Cruiser apologizes.

"Well no time for squabbles. We can't change the past, but we can focus on the present, and the present is us trying to gain much distance by lost time," Andrew explaining the goal, harshly.

"Ok Mr bossy (Andrew)," Clair replies with a attitude.

"See that's the attitude I'm talking about," says Andrew.

"What attitude?" Clair says sarcastically.

"Stop mucking around," orders Becky.

"Wait, me? I didn't do anything," Andrew explains.

"Yes! we have been walking for hours, our legs are tired and to make it worst I have to listen to you two complain, just be quiet," Becky loudly explains the reason why she's mad.

"Woa! so grumpy. Amirite," Andrew looking at his party.

"No one here is in the mood," Evan explains.

"Well. I did tell you, if you want to join me, you have to keep up with me," says Andrew.

Andrew looks at his party (Becky, Clair, Evan & Cruiser), they are all have wobbly legs, sweaty clothes and they all smell. Andrew stops and takes a look around and spots a creek, In that moment Andrew makes a decision.

"Ok. Break time. Everyone let's have a break here. There's a creek beyond the bushes. Girls go first and after men. go wash up, yo stinkyness. Shoo, shoo," Andrew brushing them away with his hand.

"Rude," says Becky while her and the girls take a bath in the lake.
