Hi! For my QI readers, I realised that you didn't get to read how I started writing Spirit Immortal. So below is a short description of myself!


Background about myself and inspirations for writing Spirit Immortal
Currently, I am a university undergraduate, and I have been reading fiction for years. I first got into reading fiction because of anime. Initially, I was a pure anime/manga fan. But I then found out about the existence of light novels. Light novels were far ahead from the existing anime, so I started to binge read translated volumes on Baka-Tsuki. It became somewhat of a drug to me. I kept reading and eventually, fictions had become part of my daily life. However, everything changed when the Yen Press attacked… Suddenly, many of my favourite novels disappeared, and less and less light novel translations surfaced. 

Finding myself in a severe deficit of fictions to read, I found something called Novelupdates. Every few minutes, there was a new novel chapter being released. I was overjoyed. Finally, I was able to satisfy my daily fiction needs. That was how I got into wuxia/xianxia novels. Being ethnically Chinese and fluent in both English and Chinese, there was a great allure for me in these stories. When I was younger, I would frequently watch The Legend of the Condor Heroes and many what we call "wuxia xiaoshuo." So seeing that the traditional stories blend with modern themes was somewhat shocking to me. To think that such a part of the internet existed!

So I started reading a lot of wuxia/xianxia stories. I remember the early days of Coiling Dragon and Stellar Transformations. The friendly competition between Gravitytales and Wuxiaworld. But one day, I encountered Doulou Dalu. For those who have not noticed, Spirit Immortal's cultivation system is inspired by this very novel. The reason being, it was the only cultivation system that I could actually follow. It's a very simplistic system, rank 1-100. The other Wuxia novels cultivation systems confused the heck out of me. However, worry not, Spirit Immortal is not a fanfiction of Doulou Dalu. In fact, other than the cultivation levels, they are nothing alike.

For a while, Doulou Dalu was my favourite novel. To a certain extent, it still is my favourite translated wuxia/xianxia novel. But I started feeling bored. Every single book that I read followed the same format. And after many disappointing stories, I thought to myself… Hey, I could just write something I like!

Thus, the idea of Spirit Immortal started germinating in my mind. It took me over five months to finish plotting the major arcs, characters and finally the ending before I started typing my first word. Majority of the reason why it took so long for me to start writing this story is because of my procrastination and school. Additionally, I didn't know if the story was going to be well received. But eventually, I steeled my mind and said: "Whatever, as long as I am satisfied with the story, who cares?"

So yeah, currently the number one fan of Spirit Immortal is myself, and I can't wait to put the entire story I have in my head into words for all of you to read. It will take time though, so do stick around!


Issues I have had when writing Book Two
I have realised that many of you were unsatisfied with the pace of the story, saying that it is too slow and whatnot. And guess what, I agree! I have been putting the character and world development at the forefront of my story thus slowing down the story progression, However, fret not, now that the first two books are completed, the story progression would begin to expedite as I believe that I have sufficiently developed my characters!

I'm trying to be more descriptive in my writing but that is still a work in progress. Perhaps it would be the greatest hurdle for me but rest assured, I will try my best!

Another major issue I had was time management. I started writing Spirit Immortal during my semester break where I had plenty of time. I even managed to complete Book 1 during that break itself! However, once school started, I had to figure out a way to balance work, personal life and writing Spirit Immortal. There were some days where I only had three hours to efficiently write, proofread and edit my chapter before I deemed it ready to be published. Hence, there might be times where my writing quality dropped slightly but I'm trying my best to ensure that I retain and even improve on my writing quality, so please be patient with me on that one.


Future of Spirit Immortal
Once my semester break hits once more, I will be sitting myself down in order to write as many chapters as I can. Perhaps, eventually, I will take the road of creating a ******* account to allow you guys to read advance chapters and at the same time, give myself some funding to weather through the school days. 

So yeah, I can't thank you guys enough for continuing to stick with me as I continue to write Spirit Immortal. I hope that I will be able to deliver the satisfying fiction that I have conjured up and brought you as much enjoyment as I had in writing this story!

Over a million years ago, the first human contracted with the first Spirit. Ever since then, Spirit use has become commonplace. Humans used Spirits to carry items and start fires. Eventually, even start wars. Thousands upon thousands of years past and one day, one human did the impossible. He transcended his mortality and ascended to the realm above.  

In the present day, the Frie Clan was once a great clan of the Himmel empire. However, a devastating battle ten years ago crippled the clan and their numbers dwindled. To make up for their loss, the upper echelons decided to adopt young orphans and nurture them to become a future pillar of the weakened clan. Shin was one of those orphans. 

Although picked up by the Frie Clan, not all is smooth sailing for Shin and the other orphans...

This is less an Analysis about myself and more about Authors as a whole. I only use myself as reference for the experiences a person can go through while attaining what some people call 'An Artistic Vision'.

But what is an artistic vision? I have gone through many stages as a writer, and the first step I took understanding why I love fiction was what made me less invested in a story filled with great themes but more entertained when events unfolding were simple.

My first work was a mess of a story that, when I look back to, didn't make any coherent sense except within the boundaries of my own mind. This is what taught me that writing with the thought of having another reading and giving feedback on my work was essentially a form of entertaining someone else with fiction.

So as a writer, was I supposed to be an entertainer catering to the masses? This opinion was cut down when I started to write a story that had every right to be able to catch people's eyes with how 'fresh and entertaining' it was, but suddenly found MYSELF not being invested by my story.

It was a strange paradox where what I was passionate about writing wasn't entertaining while the things that were more appealing and mainstream made what I thought to be a hobby more like self-imposed homework… and what everyone here can understand is that doing work is something a regular person would avoid if they were able to.

"I get no pay for becoming an 'entertainer', so why should I?" These were my thoughts as I continued to be on the line between writing for my audience and writing for my own amusement. Eventually, I came to a conclusion. 

"Why do I even write at all? Instead of writing something that definitely won't be a masterpiece, why don't I just read the well-known works of famous authors for my own amusement?" This thought became a unconscious thought, a worm burrowing into my mind without even realising it. I didn't even notice that I had already lost my qualification as an Author.

To write for oneself is to write a diary no one else would ever read. Although many unique ideas can come from writing this way, it ultimately lacks the understanding of readers that an Author shouldn't lack. 

To write for another is also not the right path to becoming one, as being too influenced by the opinions of others can make one fickle. A scene in your story you were proud of today could be something you want to delete tomorrow because it doesn't reach the perfection you are aiming for. If someone criticises some part of your work, then such thoughts will lead to an endless repetition of deleting and redoing pages.

The only way to overcome this paradoxical thought process is by having an artistic vision, and though I may be explaining it like it's an easy thing to achieve or something I fully grasp… In actuality, I don't…

The first artistic vision as a Author was to seek perfection in my storytelling, but the more I learnt about fiction, the more I learned of the purposeful imperfections in works that made them more memorable. To put it simply, even if an painter wants to add every colour of the world to a painting, it will only become jumbled mess if there isn't purpose behind what is being written into a story.

As an 'artist', I realised that I couldn't draw without inspiration to guide me. For I couldn't trust myself that the ideas I came up with by myself would even appeal to a wider audience. I experimented, and found that small touches made a story more worthwhile for my readers.

There was I time I wrote a story about reincartion and yet purposely left out key details about the character's past life like their name or age, even going so far as only including the parts the character was specifically affected by… The results were that a lot more people became invested in the main character's current life because there weren't two names distracting them for who the character currently was. 

They only knew the name of the character after reincarnation, and were therefore more closer to that character than any of the more 'perfected' characters I made before with literally their entire backstory spelled out for the reader.

It was then I remembered something that had truly become forgotten in my brain in the time I had been analysing tropes and what made story's appealing, I had forgotten that fiction wasn't 'art', but storytelling.

Subtext is created when the reader wants to know more about the characters themselves and looks for clues to figure out things that aren't explicitly 'told' to them. When a character is first introduced and they stutter in their interactions, it makes the reader unconsciously think that they aren't used to talking or are scared of something. When writing videos talk about 'show and not tell', it was THIS that they were referring to.

However, a story is essentially the Author 'telling' a reader a story through narration anyway, so how could I leave out information about a character's backstory in their introduction. The answer I found is that no real-life person is 'introduced' this way, most people I meet in real-life are those I can say I 'know' but only when talking about what I have found out about them at present.

It is through interacting that people know more about each other, but how can fictional characters inside my head form meaningful conversations when the entire point of them are to relay exposition that the narrator hasn't yet spoke of. It was hard to get past this problem as an artist, but as a storyteller, I found that the solution to this was changing who 'I' was interacting with.

I wasn't interacting with my characters, nor was I interacting with the fictional world I made. The true person I was interacting with was the individual I was narrating to… The person, who isn't me, that would read the text I was writing down to form a story.

Since I realised I was interacting with my readers through my narrations, I decided to switch things up and make them more lively. Instead of writing a summary of the events unfolding, I changed those events to fit the short attention span of new readers who wanted explosions every second, but as I followed along this path I realised that the 'narrations' I have became less genuine over time as story beats started feeling out of place and my own desire to write waned.

To become a storyteller isn't an easy thing, as I was still bound by the opinions of my audience. I became a comedian that tried to make my readers laugh, but found that my own laughter had died out in the process.

What was I supposed to do when becoming a storyteller was so much similar to becoming an entertainer? My answer was to go back to my roots and find out: What was I before an 'artist'?

I thought long and hard about it, then in a stroke of epiphany I had came to a conclusion: Was I not a kind of 'musician' that sought my own entertainment rather than the acceptance of others? Wasn't story's something I wrote purely for my own enjoyment?

And now, my artistic vision had matured. Rather than trying to 'entertain' an audience, I wanted the future me who had forgotten about my story to look back and enjoy it just as I have enjoyed the works of others.

Whether it be sci-fi, mystery, fantasy, or comedy… I want to look back on the story I told and see something that can make me feel emotions I had forgotten in the years that went by. If it's a Greek Tragedy, then I want to feel the helpless in knowing the flawed perspectives of the world that could caused the tragedy to happen.

Similar things could be said for mystery or fantasy. If I had a purpose when writing a story, then I don't want a glossary which either outright tells me about the world I built. Instead, I want to be entertained, moved, and more intrigued by the story anyone else!

After all, once I've finished writing the story, I am no longer the 'musician' or storyteller. I am the reader!

But even with this realisation, there was a chance I'd relapse if I didn't keep my previous lessons I learned in mind. If I was to chase 'perfection' again and think too hard about whether I'm talented or not, there wouldn't be any stories written to prove that I can overcome those who are only a tiny bit more talented than me but put in less effort.

If I sought too much for recognition and inspiration from outside sources, then I'd might as well send my work to a publisher rather than keeping my work a hobby.

And if I truly wanted to write a story that isn't going to be dropped, then I must plan a consistent story in mind that has a beginning and end. I could only choose to write for my future self rather than the readers that might or may not be interested in my work.

This is a story I worked on ages ago that has been refined and edited by adding foreshadowing to events while also simplifying the power system better than before. This story can be considered a prequel to An Adventure Beyond Greatness as it takes place years prior to the events of that story.

Short Synopsis:
After retiring from the battlefield, my life became empty and lifeless. The regrets of my past haunt me in my sleep. Then a change occurred, a King from another world summoned me to fight for his kingdom, but I died even before I could give him my answer. Now, after a fake God allowed me to reincarnate (albeit imperfectly) with my memories intact, into a world filled with magic and swords.

Long Synopsis:
This is about a flawed protagonist who only knew to rely on others and not socialise who gets a second chance to change himself in order to live the life he aimed for in his past life. The narrator isn’t exactly trustworthy since it is purely in his bias perspective while other perspectives given by others fill in the blanks that he either leaves out or twists to suit the situation.

The story itself can be considered a parody of Isekai’s classic tropes which are given a sense of reality as time goes by. As there exists no ‘Demon Lord’, there is also no black and white, only characters opinions and counter-opinions throughout the story.

The author had an idea when he ate delicious Italian pasta. But the pasta came from Arabistan? Although others say that the Arabs borrowed the idea from China along the Silk Road. One way or another, it would be great if Dara could use pasta as a subject for trade! But in the modern world, hundreds of pasta variants of different shapes, contents, taste and color have already been created and are known. Few can surprise them ?!

But if ... if ..yu Daru move to another place and time?

Place for example, parallel fun! After all, astronomers say that there are 22,000 worlds in the world! But it sounds too fantastic, the genre is a fiction of history ... and not science fiction. Although consciousness could temporarily go to Nirvana ... or begin to travel through the universes ... but this is already from Chinese philosophy and Integral Yoga ... Little scientific. In addition, Dara is not fond of science fiction.

Therefore, as one of our design engineers says, it's better to bomb (that is, work) on your subject. So there must be a story ?! So this world, place Earth, but what time to choose? Paleolithic? This is 48,000 years ago. Then, for sure, there was no wheat ... and probably rice ... Then maybe in the Bronze Age? 3000 years ago? The era of the Late Holocene ... it's cold, the glacier has not yet been ravaged ... Although, wait a minute, the very last glaciation of the Earth itself was the Würezke, and this is 35,000 years ago ?! Or maybe Dara would end up in Sogd or Bactria. The language is more or less like Farsi ?! And it looks like the language of Small-An, Esperanto of the Silk Road, a mixture of Arabic, Monogol, Persian, Chinese, Turkic ...

For example, in the 6-7th century? Or immediately during the battle of the Arabs and the Chinese, who had the main Korean commander? The famous Talas battle ?!

It seems best to send Dara, in the era of antiquity, the first settlement of a modern, straight-walking person, that is, the time began to develop mountain valleys, floodplains, terraces, and foothill valleys. Sowing them with walnut trees and bushes. The beginning of a grandiose project on irrigation of the steppe ... the creation of irrigation canals. Visit of the Chinese monks ... the first century AD and as 5 centuries of the functioning of the Silk Road ...

But here I, as an author, already understand that there are so many different versions of such events - rebirth, getting into another world, a parallel world, into the past or the future ... that is, it turns out, again the plot can become a cliché or cliché. That is not original. On the other hand, in the 21st century it is naive to think that after the masters of the genre of writing short stories, geniuses and just masters who have gotten their hands on the writing of works of art, a new genre can be created.

One way or another, I will not endow the main character with super powers, only those that were in the novel "Magic Coin Jiang." It can be with a part of truncated functions.

Or maybe he'll send Dar to the 7th century ... a couple of years before Li-Ban's trip or while sending Li-Ban to the desert ... but then, it will be difficult for the Chinese, who know a lot about cooking noodles, to surprise them and make your business successful.

I apologize for the sudden question, but do you know about the concept of otherworldly reincarnation?
I had never heard of it until I reincarnated, and I don't think its usage was that common in my former world, but its meaning is just as it sounds: being reincarnated into another world. In most cases, the person affected usually retains the knowledge of their past life, and gets some sort of special power or something.
I don't really get it, but you start a new game with new strength.
And it's not like I was strong in my former life or anything. Ah. Ha. Ha.
For example, on a planet called earth, in a country called Japan, in a place called Tokyo, I was born. Well, I doubt you're really interested, so I'll skip that part. Anyways, this world has a few people like that distributed here and there, and quite a few of them hold some important offices.
Like Hero, or adventurer, or saint, or inventor, or noble, or stuff like that. Apparently those people often follow that pattern.
I wonder how they manage to do such pain-in-the-ass jobs. They're just like normal rocks on the side of the road, and I really don't care, but I can't help but be impressed by their motivation.
If you ask me why I'm saying these things…

Unable to escape the annoying voice by my ear, I stuck my elbow into the bed, and turned over.
The one nagging into my ear was a woman whose clothing was all made with black as the base color.
Her disposition was as cold as a doll's. There's no doubt that she's quite a beauty.

I stick my elbow into my pillow to prop myself up, and looked at the woman who was knitting her eyebrows at me—the Great Demon King, King of Destruction, 『Kanon』's something something knight brigade's member, I think.

"A report! I'm the one who should be angry here, right!? Even though we were dispatched at the same time to all the demon lords, why is it that I'm the only one who can't go back yet…"
"Ah, you sure have it rough…"
"Please quit screwing around! Write. Your. Damn. Report!"
I don't get what's she's trying to say.
Why do I have to do something like that?
Ah, my arm's tired. I once again fell into my pillow. I've wasted some energy on a useless thing.
She violently shakes my shoulders. Her shrieking voice is just way too annoying.
I raise only me head, and look at the woman who's supposed to be from the Great Demon Lord.
For Christ's sake, if you have the time to be doing this, go do your job. Your job.
"Oy, you. Go write the report."
"Wha… what!? W-why do I have… in the first place, what should I write…"
"I'll leave it to you. I'm busy."
I grabbed the cover, but the woman grabbed my arm as I wriggled into it.
Dammit this is a pain. After I've said this much, she still plans on annoying me?
I'm tired. I'm sleepy. I really don't care.
And wait, what sort of report is she on about?
"In the first place, weren't you the one to say it, Demon Lord!? That writing was a pain so you would talk and I would write it all!?"
"… Talking has gotten tiring, so just write whatever you want."
I tossed over the square box that had fallen off of the mattress.
It's my official seal. It seems that I have to stamp it on reports. It's a pain to get up to find it, so, I always keep it under the covers.
Regardless of whether she writes what I speak, or reports whatever she wants, I can see that the contents will be fiction, so there's no point.
The woman frantically moves her arm to catch it, before staring at me with a blank expression.
"… Then, later."
"What!? Wai…. Again, this is… get up!"
This time, I just ignore her screaming voice, and pull the covers over my head.
In a few seconds, my conscious drifts away, and the annoying voice is merely a sound in the distance. My mind escaped my body.
Um, I think there was something I was supposed to say. What was it again?

My name is… Leigie Slaughterdolls. I forgot whatever name I had in Japan long ago.
Once upon a time, on Earth's Japan, I was a Salary Man who dedicated his hours to a company, and now, I'm just a poor, ordinary Demon Lord in service to some Great Demon King.

An Xiaxia rubbed her head, which throbbed with pain, and went back home on an electric bicycle.
She switched on her computer and logged into QQ. Su Xiaomo's message popped up immediately.
"Damn it! I got found out again with the R-18 comics I drew! Aah! Xiaxia, what should I do?!"
Su Xiaomo then sent her a crying emoji thumping its fist on the ground, and An Xiaxia replied with a guffawing emoji as she shook her leg. "So, did you finally get what you wanted and have Mr. He ravish you in bed?" 
She had kept in touch with Su Xiaomo after moving here. While in college, An Xiaxia had had nothing better to do and had decided to write novels for a website. She had had a knack for it, and after a few books, two male characters of a novel somehow gained popularity as a couple. Su Xiaomo then prompted her to write slash fiction for the couple, which immediately made An Xiaxia the slash fiction guru of the website… 
A short while ago, a company had bought the copyright of her novel to turn it into a comic. Since they were looking for a suitable illustrator, she had recommended Su Xiaomo.
Su Xiaomo had done a great job. Since An Xiaxia's novel had been kept pretty "non-physical," there were only two explicit love scenes at most… Su Xiaomo had put all her effort into drawing the scenes, and then, her draft had been discovered by He Jiayu, who was living with her… 
"Screw it… I'm seriously starting to think that He Jiayu doesn't love me at all! He doesn't crave my body!" Su Xiaomo went on howling. "How many years has it been now? I still haven't slept with him yet! I honestly think he has performance issues!"
An Xiaxia found this conversation very awkward. "…Ahem, Momo, have you been acting too reserved? How about trying something wilder?"
"Really? I'll give it a go, then… He's mine tonight!" After making that lofty announcement, Su Xiaomo moved into action decisively.
A rich aroma filled the air. She swallowed and headed for the kitchen.
The weather was too hot and their electricity supply had been erratic these days. The power was down at the moment and the kitchen was as hot as a sauna house. He Jiayu wasn't wearing a top and he stood there bare-chested. Drops of sweat slid down his muscular abdomen and all the way into his trousers… 
Damn… He Jiayu was a cutie with his clothes on and a succubus without them!
Su Xiaomo wipe her mouth and called out happily, "Darling~"
He Jiayu glanced at her and smiled mildly, but wouldn't talk to her.
A chatterbox like Su Xiaomo could die from frustration if she couldn't talk to anyone. She jabbed the tips of her fingers together, looking quite pitiful. "I'm sorry… I won't draw those things again. Forgive me?"
Cutie He's smile was as pleasant as a spring breeze, but no words came out of his mouth.
Seeing that her apology hadn't worked, Su Xiaomo resolved to use her killing move. "Father!"
He Jiayu's hand jolted and he almost threw the spatula away!
Su Xiaomo said obsequiously, "I'll call you father from now on if you forgive me now!"
He Jiayu: … Grow a spine, will you?!
He rolled his eyes at her and Su Xiaomo behaved herself right away.
She watched as the tall and slender He Jiayu stir-fried the vegetables in the wok. Despite his sweat-streaked face, she still found him unbelievably hot.
When the vegetables were cooked, He Jiayu was going to take them out of the wok when he realized that he had forgotten to set out a plate. He frowned a little.
Su Xiaomo saw what he needed right away. "Let me!"
She quickly fetched him a plate, and He Jiayu looked up. Su Xiaomo took this opportunity to pull down the collar of her pajamas, revealing her fair and tender shoulder. She then winked at He Jiayu suggestively. "Do forgive me, for the sake of my beauty!"
He Jiayu blushed right away and his voice turned husky. "Su Xiaomo, do you really think… I won't touch you?"


As an anti-fan of the idol group, Starry Night, An Xiaxia is happy to spend her time online slandering lead singer Sheng Yize. 

But things take an unexpected turn when An Xiaxia starts high school - the Starry Night trio somehow becomes her classmates, and even end up moving into her house. 

Also, the nation’s idol Sheng Yize seems particularly interested in An Xiaxia for some reason...

Romance is a very popular genre in Webnovels. The first thing that come to mind when we talk about romance are the CEO novels. Even though we don't want to admit it, they are the mainstream romance stories in the Webnovel website. 

So why do people love romance stories? I hope you find the answer while reading this chapter.

WWFire: We who read these kind of fantasy novels don't live our lives correctly pal.

FattyBai: I'm a simple guy, I see plot and I drown it in martial arts and manly stuff. Of course, I don't know what feelings are. Can you eat them to increase your cultivation base? *think smart emoticon*

Parasection: I've never experienced romance so i'd fail the moment i'd attempt a story like that.

Zehell2218: Actually, I like to write fighting scene but without romance my reader will kill me. So...yeah I tag it as romance! *joy emoticon*

Elyon knew that "Romance" is not his strong point. He writes a fantasy story with romance, but he can't tell if the romance will be able to attract female readers. Out of curiosity, he asked some of his fellow authors the question "Why do you read romance stories?"

Here are their answers…

Kyosei: Because I am single. 

Reili: To fill my empty void of a love life.

Minrei: Because romance let you feel what is to be loved, plus it is universal you dont need to learn magic or cultivation in order to read.

Bajj: Due to lack of romance irl.

Murakami: I read because I enjoy the friction and conflict between the FL and ML. The insistence vs resistance is naisu.

Qin: I reads romance only for ideas and info.

VlassisBehrakis: I don't read romance novels.

[A/N: Oof I asked the wrong person.]

Elyon then  ̶a̶m̶b̶u̶s̶h̶e̶d̶ asked some readers about their opinion about romance novels.

Yin: I read romance novels because I want that kind of drama to happen to me in real life. But I know it will never happen haha.

A Certain Irresistible Meowlin: I wonder why? And I do read romance novels. Though the chance of me dropping them is also the highest out of all the genres. Every so often I come across a scene that makes me just want to squeal and fangirl.

Elyon decided to dig deeper and asked a few of his senior "romance authors" some questions about their reason for writing romance stories.

The first question is… Why did you choose to write Romance Stories?

Anjeeriku: I'm comfortable writing romance stories compared to other genres. I'm a helpless romantic person and I like novels that can invoke other people's feelings.

Bajj: First of all, I like reading romance story. It was the reason why I read books before and reading other genres comes after. All in all, due to these romance fiction books, I got the opportunity to read more great books with different genre.

MishaK: That's what I read, so write that too.

Zehell2218: Because as reader, I want to read romance novel so when I write, I write romance since my motto is I write what I want to read.

Ikazainudin: The easiest genre. Everyone can relate.

End_of_Era: It wasn't a full on Romance, it was slice of life with romance which I feel was necessary with progression of the characters.

The second question… When you were making your ML and FL, did you imagine yourself as the lead of your story at any given point in time?

Anjeeriku: I would be a liar if I said no. There were instances that I'd put myself in my FL's shoes. Whenever that happens, my writing feels more passionate and truthful that sometimes it was hard to know where my fl starts and where I end. 

Shen Yi, LMD's ML was based on a person I've lost, The One That Got Away so it was sometimes hard not to self-insert whenever there were scenes that need to invoke feelings from readers. 

Bajj: I believe that every character the author was making and breathing life into it, a part of him/her is added to its character. But me imagining of being the ML/FL, never. I'm too pure for that. Kek

MishaK: Yes I did but sometimes. Otherwise you can't infuse emotions in your characters. It is important to understand your characters.

Zehell2218: Yes, I imagine myself as the lead. Of course, I tweak it a bit, such as in age and appearance. But mostly, the characteristics is similar to me.

Ikazainudin: FL and ML character based on what I want to be irl. Yup. I imagine that will be my love story.

End_of_Era: Yes, my leads had some ocassional self insertion.

The third question… If you were to choose some other genre aside from romance, what would you pick?

Anjeeriku: Fantasy. I always look up to those authors who can write fantasy stories/novels well. I believe writing a fantasy novel is harder than writing romance.

Bajj: Horror/thriller/Action. Read GGGB godamnit! [Good Girl Gone Bad]

MishaK: I am writing a Fantasy romance aside from regular vanilla romance *smile emoticon*

Zehell2218: Fantasy, magical realism, fan fiction.

Ikazainudin: Psychological/horror and maybe children story.

End_of_Era: The new genre I'm writing is fantasy/violent .

The fourth and final question… If you were to give a message to your beloved readers, what would it be?

Anjeeriku: I'm sorry for not being inconsistent with updates. Y'all know I love you, but a little consideration and patience as I face this rough patch in my life would be very much appreciated.

Hello Guys! I hope you enjoyed this chapter of WWCG. Personally, I've read a few CEO novels myself. I also read some FL stories like A Slight Smile Is Devastating (Love O2O), Hidden Marriage, Doomed to be Cannon Fodder, Transmigrator meets Reincarnator, A Mistaken Marriage Match: A Generation of Military Counselor, There Is an Angel in That Church (short story), Eight Treasures Trousseau, Grabbing Your Hand, Dragging you Away, A Mistaken Marriage Match: Record of Washed Grievances…

Ai~ there's a few more that I won't add to the list because it will create a wall of text. Well anyways, the reason why I read these stories is to get an idea on "WHY" the ladies love to read them.

Let's just say that it's a unique way to see a world in the eye of a lady (if you are a man of course). When done properly, the execution of the story can capture the hearts of anyone, even male readers. I believe that no matter what gender you are, as long as you find the story interesting then it doesn't matter whether you are a guy or a gal no?

Perhaps, when I'm not too busy to write my stories, I'll once again pick a romance novel to read. Hopefully, I will find another hidden gem that will bring unexpected surprises to anyone who are lucky enough to find them.

Hello my name's kai, I am as normal as one can get have a good job like anime might or might not be an otaku. I don't really have friends nor family but I got over that  pretty long ago. (not sure if that counts as English) I'm currently at my house about to rewatch the five kage summit it was one of my favourite fights in shippuden though as soon as I was about to log in to my computer I heard the roaring sounds of thunder. ( no matter how many times I rewrite this part it still seems rushed ) 

But how wasn't it sunny just know.....with that last thought everything turned to darkness my life flashing before my eyes I could see everything even stuff I didn't remember , my birth my mother her death everything I could see everything 

Just like that I drifted into eternal sleep

When I woke up I was in a room, well I couldn't exactly call in a room seeing as the whiteness seemed to spread to the end of the universe . In front of me was a tall bearded guy looked like he was stressing out about something...wait isn't this a bit too cliche mmm. Well might as well start the conversation 

"Um hello" he looked at me as if he just noticed me here, but I didn't have time to get angry about that. Simply because of those calculating eyes as if   deciding what to do with my entire existence not only that but the aura he gave off it was the aura of nobility the aura of a king one that could erase all of existence to ashes, the aura

"Oh I didn't notice you there young one"ok ok he talked what do I do what do I say. WAIT calm down ok calm down let's take it slowly "hello" I said in the most regular voice I could muster at the moment "wow you calmed town quickly, you are quite the prodigy I must say"he said in a soothing grandpa like voice "thanks, I guess" I replied "so would you mind telling me where I am and how I got here" "ow I should tell you shouldn't i"

After that he kept quiet I chestered him to go on "well a accident happened and you ended up here" "so am I dead?" I asked already knowing the answer "you really are calm for a human aren't you"he said probably trying to change the subject. I eyed him for having no idea how I did it 

"Well yes"then I was right I have read a great amount of novels and fan fiction "I think I know what's going to happen" "you sure know a lot don't you" yep I was right once again "do I get to choose what world I reincarnate in" " haha clever boy yes yes you do" "ok then naruto" yes it may not be the safest or most overpowered world but that's exactly why I chose , it's not a world of God's or weak humans 

"Interisting choice you have made" without allowing me to say anything he continued"I will let you have one wish to help you in the world of ninja shinobi"that was quite an obvious mistake he made there. But anyway this made me think carefully there were a lot of things that could help me like infinite chakra the tentails sealed in me from birth but there was this one

"I'd like the gamer ability please" yep I chose it because it was perfect. Anything less useful would be trash anything more would have made life boring 

"WELL OK GOODBYE THEN" then once again everything turned to into darkness
