The next day, early morning, Baiyi and Mia made their way home in a whirlicote.
Baiyi did not mind going back to Mia's house for a visit but actually, the timing was a little unsuitable. The matter with Undine was not settled yet, his new servant Attie had not fully settled down yet, he had not started making the staff that he wanted to make for Tisdale yet, and even the repair of the black gold armor had to be shelved for a period of time.
But there was nothing that he could do at all. Looking at Mia who draped herself on his arms with her little mouth slightly opened and puppy eyes that were looking at him pitifully, all that he could do was to agree to it. Hastily, he tidied up the matters on hand, set the homeothermal formation properly in the house, left behind a huge amount of gold coins in the house, bought a piece of magic-plated slate and carved a communication formation on it. Since Tisdale was tied down by her work in the workshop, she could not join in on the trip so Baiyi decided to leave the communication tool behind. Worried that she would be lonely staying in such a big mansion, he also left Attie behind to keep Tisdale company as he went on the trip alone with Mia.
Before they left, he purposely bought two sets of beautiful clothes for Mia and dressed her in a youthful and elegant clothes. Then, he rented the most expensive carriage available in the market and the two of them set out early in the morning.
Actually, Mia's house was situated not far from the south of Arfin city. They would arrive in no time if they use the Flying spell but she still insisted on going back in a carriage. Apparently it was so that she could have the feeling of going back home. After some pondering, Baiyi decided to give in to her. After all, it was a good thing if she was willing to spend a long time stuck in a small space together with him, wasn't it?
Other than Mia in the carriage, there were also the plants that were planted in the animal coin banks that Baiyi brought along with him. Although it was quite troublesome to bring all of the plants along, he did not trust Attie and Tisdale to take good care of them at all--- particularly Attie who kept going against his order and insisted on plucking out the newly sprouted tender seedlings. With no other choice, he brought all of them together with him.
In the beginning, Mia high-spiritedly enjoyed the idyllic countryside scenery through the window but after some time, she began to feel bored and started to lie down lazily on the soft seat of the carriage. With her head on Baiyi's thigh and her black long waterfall-like hair spreaded beneath her, she observed the ethereal patterns carved on top of the carriage as she sighed with admiration, "What a spacious couch! It's so steady and the seat is so soft and comfortable. Even the ceiling is carved beautifully with dainty patterns. This is the most comfortable carriage I've ever been in before! Thank you so much, Mr. Hope!"
Duhh! Just this trip itself costs us almost a month income of an ordinary household, you know. Of course it's comfortable! Baiyi thought to himself. Reaching out his hand, he lifted Mia's head before he quickly inserted a soft cushion between her head and his legs, "Use this to pad your head. It'd be softer."
"Mmmmmm..." The little girl sighed in satisfaction, her big eyes squinted slightly. It seemed like she was really enjoying herself.
She was wearing a new aqua blue dress that Baiyi had bought for her yesterday. Although the neckline was relatively higher and her neck was fully covered up, the dress was actually an off-shoulder dress that exposed her round sweet shoulders. Unlike other ordinary dress, the waistline was tight, fully revealing the outline Mia's slender waist. The highlight of the dress was the special dye used to color the clothing. Under the bright sun, patches of light shone from her dress as if it was weaved from the water of a deep blue lake. Coupled with Mia's delicate small face, the dress made her looked even more dazzling and attractive.
Even if the dress was high-necked and long skirted, it was able to fully bring out her beauty to the highest degree.
"Take off your shoes and put your feet up. You will feel much more comfortable that way," Baiyi suggested again.

Still, not aware that she was particularly seductive in such a pose, she even swung her legs in the air unwittingly, causing five certain Walkers in the Void to be banned from speaking again.
"You're a big girl already! Aren't you afraid of being seen by others?" Baiyi cast his eyes away as he instinctively lifted up a hand to pinch her little face.
"Well, there's nobody here other than you. I don't see any problem with it," Mia adopted an indifferent attitude, "Anyway, haven't you already seen my entire body, Mr. Hope?" As she was saying that, she took hold of Baiyi's hand that was going to pinch her cheeks and rubbed her face against it. Then, in a kid-like tone, she purred, "It's still gonna take some time before we reach home. Can you tell me a story pleaseeeee, Mr. Hope?"
Baiyi was enjoying himself very much in such a father-daughter-like moment. Joyously, he caressed Mia's face gently as he asked, "I have many stories, which one do you want to hear? A love story about a girl who loves singing and a boy playing a guitar with a shameless third wheel intruding on their lovely time together?"[1]
The little girl shook her head. It seemed like she did not particularly like that kind of story.
"Then, how about the story of a boy who falls in love with her father's incompatible partner and for the sake of a non-existent hoax, he becomes locked in a deathmatch with his classmates, sister and his own teacher?"[2]
Mia shook her head again. Thw story was too sorrowful for her.
"Alright. What do you think about this one then? A boy bringing his powerful yellow rat around, who works hard and goes all out but always gets disqualified in the semi final of the annual pet contest[3] every year?"
Mia started to become a little upset. She did not understand why Baiyi kept telling her stories that were so glum and gloomy. Unhappily, she lifted her face away from his hand and murmured, "I-I like heroic stories! Like Mr. Hantai the Paladin!"
Err... Is that so? Baiyi pondered and started to have a quick glance over at the group of Walkers in the Void, trying to find somebody who had suitable background stories that would fit Mia's liking. After a while, he became slightly dejected as he discovered that nobody seemed to fit with Mia's heroic fantasy. As for that Mr. Hantai whom Mia mentioned just now, he had already been banned for making comments about wanting to lick her legs some time ago.
Is there anybody else that could be considered as a hero? The Thane? Well, he was recorded as a good person in the history but he's the kind of person who would sacrifice the lives of a few people for the sake the majority... Urghhhh... It's too messy... I'd better not tell her this story.
Perhaps, the Cleric? Wait a minute, he has been banned from speaking, too, with the Paladin. The Archmage? The emperor, *cough* tyrant *cough*, who relied on his weapon to bully the people around him? Errr... He's far from being heroick, I think... The Fairy? Well, she's indeed a hero but she's also the one who created all of the problems in the first place. Oh, yeah, not to mention the fact that she doesn't like Mia too...
"Why don't you just tell her my story?" Seeing Baiyi in dilemma, the Scholar suggested.
Tell her your life story about how you were stuck in the Mage Tower for your entire life to the point that you became single forever?
"You can tell my story! I have a few wonderful assassination stories, remember?" the Assassin joined in as well.
Why should I let Mia know about the sinister means of assassination? How gory would that be!
After a long while, Baiyi decided to talk about the Knight. Although he was a little promiscuous in his past life, but at least he's quite a hero who was positive and always looking forward. There should be no problem telling Mia his story.

It just so happened that he led an elite squad to the enemy camp after they fled and killed the commander of the army, so in the end, the whole troop of 20,000 men immediately plunged into chaos and hastily withdrew their attack all at once.
Well, in a way, he did defeat the enemy all by himself, which was not a hard task for a Demigod Level fighter. But in order to boost his reputation, his own men added extra untrue details onto his story, from him defeating the entire army all by himself to him killing the entire army all by himself. By the time the story reached Mia, it had evolved into him killing the entire 20,000 army with just one slash of his sword.
For that reason, there was a saying that said the real truth was often different than the legends that one used to hear. It was also because of this, that Baiyi did not know how to tell Mia the story of the rest of the Voidwalkers.
Still, Mia was a well-behaved and a sensible child after all. Looking at Baiyi's awkwardness, she stopped acting spoiled and shook his arm gently instead, "How about you just tell me your own story, Mr. Hope?"
"My story?" Baiyi shook his head, "I was just a naive, kind, optimistic, cheerful, generous, positive, humble, introverted, reserved, modest, good man[4] who stayed in one place that has many things that you'd never understand. I don't have any interesting story at all. It's only after I met you that my story started to become lively, Mia."
"I-Is that so?" Mia wrinkled her thin brows slightly, "I guess, you must be pretty lonely before, am I right, Mr. Hope? Hmmm, but it's alright, I'm by your side now.." Then, as Baiyi had suggested just now, she took off the beautiful shoes off her feet and curled up her body on the seat as she quietly laid on Baiyi's thigh with her eyes close, not saying anything anymore.
Baiyi gently stroked her head. His heart filled with emotions.

Qin Yin was indeed beautiful, but Di Jiu did not really think about her. After Zhen Man, he had never fallen for another woman. He had been through countless experiences, so he was already past the stage of purely looking at pretty faces.
Qin Yin wanted to leave the hall where the Sky Screen cards were exchanged. She did not like Di Jiu, yet her master had told her not to leave the hall until he arrived.
This hall was the safest place in the Sky Screen, as no one dared to attack it.
However, not everyone could stay under its protection. Only the people who received a Sky Screen card were eligible to stay there. Although she had not received one, her master was a late-stage Essence Soul Expert, so she was qualified to stay there while she waited.

She had never caught Di Jiu looking at her. Plus, when the Sky Screen opened, Di Jiu rushed out as if he had been avoiding some kind of trouble by hiding inside and had just been waiting for the Sky Screen to open.
Would an obnoxious person like him even try to avoid trouble?
Di Jiu was really fast. He rushed through the middle of a group of Sea Union Foundation Establishment cultivators before they could react or try to stop him.
Di Jiu's speed was so fast that he soon reached the border of the Sky Screen.
The entrance of the Sky Screen was like a waterfall of twisted, void lines of unknown origin. The cultivators that owned Sky Screen cards grabbed their cards one by one, rushed into this twisted void pattern and disappeared.
When Di Jiu rushed into the Sky Screen, the Sea Union Cultivators would not be able to catch up with him anymore. However, Di Jiu unexpectedly slowed down when he reached the Sky Screen border. 
Several Sea Union Cultivators immediately rushed to his side. The Foundation Establishment cultivator with the highest cultivation level raised his hand and took out a black net. "Still want to go, kid?"
Almost as soon as he took out the black net, Di Jiu withdrew his large hammer.

A Korean - American girl named park soo- min had started a journey a lot different from the others . A Kpop journey . It had lots of obstacles , including lack of support from her family itself . Not only did she overcome her obstacles but also started a temporary step towards her dream . She participated in one of the kpop competition in her school and became a School kpop sensation. She felt the sense of fame at a very young age and got exposure to a lot of stuff that happens in an idol's life. Later as a part of a deal with her parents she auditions for a company named LG at the age of 18 and successfully entered as a trainee. There she met a boy name Min Kyungsoo who went on to become her best friend and later they also ended up dating eachother but to their unfortunate they weren't allowed date as trainees. She had a debut in acting alongside Lee Jong-Suk as the male protogonist which also marked her first baeksang awards . She won a Baeksang for her first show itself and garnered a lot of fans worldwide. As a trainee she was going to debut soon in a band named Code Pink . This band was going to introduce a new genre that was called the KZpop in the world . This band contained six members each from various different countries including India. Claire, Zsumi,Sugar,Hanna,Jem and Venus by their stage names were the members of this band . They had a brother band called CodeZ which also had Kyungsoo in it . Claire was the leader of this group while Zsumi or soomin was the maknae . They debut with the song 'Fairytale' which broke all kinds of records . That won the music of the year award at Korean music awards and they also won AWARDS at Grammy's. They all persued their dream and live what they call a fantasy. It all starts with a dream so never stop dreaming!!

Manik Andrea gelisah bergerak ke sana sini tak jelas. Bahu ia angkat. "Y-yaaa... apa gitu, deh, terserah kamu, asalkan bicara, kasi komen juga boleh. Ato kalo mo kasi petuah-petuah juga gue bakal dengerin, kok."
Sekali lagi, Shelly hela napas. Sebenarnya dia juga tak tau kenapa merespon begini ketika tau Andrea ada hubungan dengan Giorge. Atau... dia kesal karena bukan yang pertama tau?
Tangan Andrea terjulur, mengambil roti buatan Shelly yang ada di piring.
"Eh, jangan! Itu udah kotor!" cegah Shelly, meski tidak berhasil.
Andrea sudah terlanjur menggigit roti itu. "Hawah, hatuh hi hantai hgak aga hima mengit. Nom, nom, nom. Glek! Lantai kamar gue kan bersih. Eh ini enak, loh! Bisa dipajang di kafe, nih!" Ditatapnya roti yang sudah tinggal separuh.
"Masa sih enak? Aku belum nyoba, sih. Maunya kamu yang pertama, gitu, soalnya kamu kan spesial bagi aku, Ndre, harus tau yang paling awal."
"Waahh! Tengkyu, Beb!" Andrea peluk erat Shelly, lantas kembali kunyah roti sisa di tangannya.
Namun, Shelly justru lepaskan pelukan dengan sikap jengkel. "Tapi aku nggak spesial buat kamu, ya kan?" Mulutnya mengerucut cemberut.
"Haih, ngapa sih jadi nyinyir?" Andrea kembali mencomot roti lainnya, karena di piring masih ada tiga.
"Abisnya... kamu nggak cerita soal kamu ma Giorge, malah Kak Myren yang-"
"Yah, itu juga gegara Kak Myren mergoki waktu gue lagi diewe ama Giorge di kantor makany-"
"HAH?! Di... diewe... di kantor?" Shelly sampai menutup mulut saking syoknya.
Andrea tepok jidat, merasa tolol. "Beb, udahan dong syoknya." Ia jadi tak enak hati.
"Gimana aku nggak syok, sih Ndre? Tiba-tiba tau kamu ama Giorge udah seintim itu!" Shelly bersandar lemas di pegangan anak tangga.
"Gue... gue sendiri gak tau kudu jelasinnya gimana ama kamu, Beb. Makanya gue gak berani cerita." Andrea duduk di anak tangga. Dua tangan menopang dagu dengan dua lutut ditekuk.
Shelly pun ikut duduk di depannya, meski menghadap ke Andrea. "Aku ini kan sohib kamu, Ndre. Kita dah sohiban sejak kapan, hayo? Kenapa ragu cerita ke aku? Aku bisa tersinggung, loh!"
"Aih, Bebeb... lah dulu kamu ma Kencrut aja gue taunya setelah kamu melendung, ya kan?" balas Andrea.
Kalimat itu berhasil membungkam Shelly beberapa belas detik. "Yah mulai sekarang nggak boleh lagi ada rahasia-rahasiaan di antara kita. Setuju?"
Andrea tampak berpikir-pikir. Pipi digaruk tak jelas. "Eng... gimana, yak?"
"Ihh! Andrea gitu! Ndrea nggak mau anggap aku sohib lagi!" Shelly merajuk.
"Aiihh... iya, iya deh, iya, no secret between us anymore. Deal?" Andrea julurkan satu kelingkingnya.
"Deal!" Shelly tersenyum lebar sembari sambut kelingking Andrea dengan miliknya sendiri. "Ndre, sejak kapan kamu... gituan ama Giorge?"
"First time kami yah waktu gue ngejar bayangan yang gue kira Dante itu. Umm... waktu anak-anak pesta ultah."
"Eh? Baru sebulanan lalu, yah?"
"Hu'um. Emang belum lama, kok. Itu... spontan aja awalnya. Yah, sempet kelahi dulu ma dia sih di mobil karena gue maksa keluar mo kejar Dante."
Shelly gigit bibir bawahnya. Ingin menangis. "Padahal kamu dah janji untuk enggak lagi kalut soal Dante."
"Gue... jujur aja sepulang dari rumah sakit, gue masih stres soal Dante. Masih punya amarah di jiwa gue. Mungkin... Giorge hanya alat gue untuk luapin marah gue. Gue tau ini childish en gak bermoral, gue-"
Shelly sudah memeluk Andrea sambil menangis. "Maaf. Maaf, yah Ndre. Aku payah banget jadi sohib. Dan sekarang aku restui kok kamu ama Giorge. Kamu harus bahagia dengan siapapun pilihan kamu, karena-"
"Kak Myren juga ngomong gitu waktu gue tanya, hehe..." Andrea menepuk-nepuk lembut punggung sang sahabat.
Shelly lepaskan pelukan dan usap air mata. "Kamu boleh ama siapapun. Asalkan kamu bahagia."
"Makasih, Beb. Cuma... masalahnya... gue kagak cinta Giorge. Cinta en hati gue masih full buat Dante."
"Eh? Lalu gimana kalo Giorge-"
"Dia udah tau dari awal kalo gue cuma mo gunain dia untuk pelampiasan doang, kok. Ironis, yah! Gue menyedihkan banget, ya kan?"
Shelly menggeleng seraya senyum hangat. "Enggak. Tiap orang punya cara tersendiri untuk menyembuhkan luka hati. Kalau kalian sudah saling sepakat, maka tak ada yang bisa mencemooh kalian. Jalani aja sampai hati kamu lengkap, Ndre. Paham, kan?"
"Hati gue udah lengkap buat Dante, kok."
"Yah, siapa tau kamu bakalan jatuh cinta ke Giorge, seperti perasaan kamu ke Dante."
"Hahah! Omonganmu nyaris mirip Kak Myren kemarin. Tapi kayaknya susah banget, Beb. Dante udah berakar di gue. Atas ampe bawah."
"Oh ya, kamu pengin curhat apa sih ama Kak Myren? Curhatnya ke aku aja lah, plis."

"Ah, santai aja." Andrea tepuk pelan punggung tangan Shelly. "Gue cuma rada bingung, gue egois kagak sih kalo gue anggep dia Dante? Kadang aja kalo lagi gituan, yang gue sebut malah nama Dante. Gue jahat, gak sih?"
Shelly menyahut setelah diam mendengarkan. "Memangnya Giorge nggak pernah bilang cinta ke kamu?"
"Always, oh my gosh! Ampe gue bosen. Itu pun sejak lama, sejak gue masih di kantor lama!" Andrea putar bola matanya.
"Awh!" pekik Shelly takjub. "Berarti dia cinta banget ama kamu, Ndre!"
"Iya, tapi masalahnya, gue kagak cinta ke dia. Makanya gue pengin tau, gue jahat kagak sih manfaatin dia gitu?" Andrea peluk dua lututnya.
"Cinta punya berbagai macam sisi, Ndre. Sisi bahagia, sisi manis, sisi gelap juga."
"Tapi gue kagak cinta dia, Beb."
"Cinta adalah hal paling misterius di dunia. Kamu harus ingat itu, Ndre. Penyebab cinta takkan pernah diduga-duga. Hati kita ibarat kain, dan cinta adalah air yang menyentuh kain itu, meresap diam-diam tanpa kita sadar, dan tiba-tiba kain kita sudah basah seluruhnya hingga butuh waktu untuk mengeringkannya." Shelly berdogma mengenai cinta.
"Segitunya, Beb," sahut Andrea.
Shelly mengangguk. "Di saat kamu merasa sudah kehilangan cinta, saat itu juga kau sudah mulai mendapatkan cinta lain. Dari keluarga, teman, sahabat baik, dan juga dari orang lain."
Andrea merenung. Kalimat panjang Shelly banyak benarnya, meski ada yang dia ingin sanggah. "Apakah seks berkaitan ama cinta, Beb?"
"Kalau seksmu dengan banyak orang, berganti-ganti, kau tidak mencintai mereka, tapi kau hanya mencintai dirimu sendiri," ucap bijak Shelly. "Tapi kalau kamu hanya dengan Giorge, maka bersiaplah kainmu akan mulai basah."

So once he felt that everything was up to par and the timing was right, he would then begin the process of creating a manga.

Ah Feng stuffed the money he had just received back into the hands of Hu Ting Song. His face turned bitter. "Young master Hu, anyone else would be fine, but him, we really can't!"
They both remembered the night they had run into Meng Fan when they were 'helping' Zhao Chang Gui straighten out Chen Da Qiang. The two wanted to cry at the thought. That feeling of being suppressed by one hand and the pain that followed at any point could not be understood by most people!
They thought about it again and understood why Hu Ting Song was so desperately looking for trouble. It seemed that the victim from the story of "Three thousand is more badass than ten thousand" on campus had been the guy standing in front of them!
Yes, this iron hero could f*cking run ten kilometers. Was that not terrifying!?
Hu Ting Song creased his brows. "You guys are still afraid of him?"
The two nodded in admittance. Cai thought for a moment. "How about, you think about some other ways to deal with him?"

Meng Fan still followed his original plan for the evening stream. There were no more novel illustrations, so he decided to draw some mecha. It was just that he had interacted only with Hua Xia's historical culture growing up. However, at that moment, Manga stripped off all those unnecessary thoughts. In his head, the only thing that was running was the tactics of the war, the size of the opposition and the weapons at his disposal. 

He cradled the assault rifle he was holding in his hands tightly. The city was getting closer and closer.

Suddenly, massive boulders came at them in the air. Manga guessed they were within the range of the enemy's trebuchets.

Looking at the boulders, Manga smiled before giving the signal. 

Mounted on the bow of the ship were 2 turrets of heavy machine guns. The turrets had an ammo box that could hold more than a thousand rounds. The Guns were placed on rotating mounts that could turn any direction for 360 degrees. This was part of Barda's new additions. 

When the trebuchets were coming at them, Tristan forces unleashed the destructive power of the machine guns on the boulders, shredding them before they got close. 

Watching this happen, everyone on the ships was inspired. Siege towers were always a dreaded part of any war. Evasion was largely based on luck, but seeing that there was a way to deal with them finally, they were overjoyed. 

Manga smile as he watched the boulders disintegrate in the air. However, the smile quickly faded as he watched a boulder tear through the air, seemingly unaffected by the hot rounds. 

The moment the boulder struck the ship's capsule, it exploded. With the explosion came the concussive soundwave which knocked everyone in the lead ship down, some even blown completely off the ship.

Manga tried to get up even though his ears were ringing and he was disoriented. Looking around, many of his men were also in similar condition. 

Next came the onslaught of ballistae bolts. They were being fired at the ships and the capsules. 

"The capsules will hold," Manga said as he finally got up. However, a bolt struck a wooden pole next to him. Looking closely, the bolt had a small trinket on top of it that looked like a chicken egg.

Before he could investigate, dark purple gas started coming off the little ticket. Suddenly, Manga found himself unable to breathe no matter how hard he coughed. His throat and nose were being corroded. 

He backtracked as fast as he could trying to get some distance between him and the bolt. As he did, he raised his rifle and started firing at the bolt, he needed to get the thing off his ship. 

It took him an entire clip to completely shatter the bolt and send the package off the ship, but he managed to. He was lucky the bolt had struck the edge of the ship, had it struck the inside, someone would have had to carry it off the ship. 

However, Manga's breathing system was completely corroded, and every breath he took was a pain. He was wheezing and bloody form coming out of his mouth, gaping at death's door. 

A delicate hand landed on his shoulder and started digging its way underneath his armor. Commander Manga was freaked by this, thinking that this was an assassin coming to finish the job. He neither had the strength nor the will to fight him off. Might as well make it quick. 

After a long wait, Manga realized he was not dying. Matter of fact, his breath was back to normal. For a moment he wondered if he was hallucinating, but this could not be a hallucination, could it?

Waking up, he found that he was back on the battlefield. The man that had man-handled him was crouching over another soldier, holding his neck as well. Looking at where the gas had been, Manga was shocked to see 2 figures, each holding a staff, with their arms outstretched. 

The gas that had landed on the ship was being blown away, and there were healers on the job. That must have been how he was back to full compliment. 

Each city-state contributed a part of its elite warriors to this first deployment. They were going to be the best in Tristan. Lord Abu had contributed 10,000 mages. Of these, 2,000 were healers.

For his entire fleet, Manga had 400 ships under his command. As per the arrangement, each ship formed a unit of 250 warriors. Among these, there were 25 mages, 5 being healers. 

For his attack, Manga had deployed 200 ships while the remaining 200 were left as reserves. He would be receiving more reinforcements soon, but for now, he was being cautious. 

Leading up to the attack, Manga had organized his forces into 4 grounds of 50 ships. These ships would attack from the north, east, west, and south, surrounding the city with no way out. 

Manga did not employ some fancy formation for the assault, opting to form a straight line. This was largely due to the shape of the airship. Formations would do more harm than good, causing the ships to obstruct each other. 

There was also the fear factor. He wanted them to see the might of fifty ships coming at them, spread out and covering more ground. 

Finally, Manga had had to consider the siege towers. Grouping together just gave the attackers a juicy opportunity to take out many people at a go. Spreading also gave the ships some form of maneuverability in case they needed to evade. 

The mages that were on high demand, other than healers, were wind mages. Even on this ship, Manga had only gotten one, and he was doing his best to keep the corrosive gases out. 

At the same time, the concussive sounds were still going off all around the ships. It seemed the siege weapons were enchanted with sound magic. There was little they could do about that now. 

Manga realized that among the infected he was among the first to recover. This was no accident since the healer had run to him first as the commander. The bolt had landed around the bow of the ship, which meant the ship's forefront was incapacitated. 

Realizing that he shouldn't be laying around, Manga shot up and ran for the machine guns. He had never used them before but he guessed they were the same as what he was used to. Looking at the crosshair, he guessed its purpose. Aiming, he fired. 

Nothing happened. "D*mn it, why is there a safety switch for everything?" He shouted as he looked for a lever, experiencing Deja Vu. 

Finally, the gun responded. Commander Manga was shocked by the power of the gun as it seemed to come alive. Once as a boy, he had jumped on a bull and tried to ride it. That was a bad mistake that almost cost him life. 

This felt the same as it was back then. The machine transformed into a beast that would not be controlled. The commander was not distraught but thrilled. He unleashed hell as the sweet sound of the rifle drowned out the concussive sounds. 

All this felt so unreal and off this world. To Manga, those people on the ground were no longer people but targets, blobs that he needed to hit. Seeing them explode did not disgust him as it should have but rather excited him, as it reported to him of his successful kill. 

With his people coming to, and the ships making ground, they were finally on top of the walls. The machine guns laid waste of the walls and those people on it, totally suppressing anyone who dared lift a finger. 

Once they were over the city walls, ropes were thrown over the hulls. With Manga at the lead and the ship's machine guns covering them, the warriors descended from the ships using the ropes and engaged the enemy. 

Manga could remember this part well, not long ago he had been in a similar situation, only this time, he had gone off the ship willingly. It felt good to land willingly.

Looking ahead of him, Manga saw that the enemy's armies had amassed to receive them. Poor buggers, the ships had made quick work on their formations, and they were now in disarray. 

Manga did not rush to charge but waited until everyone was off the ship. Now all that remained were the ship operators, the healers, and the ranged attackers. These included the bowmen, the crossbow, machine gun, and ballistae handlers, and mages. 

With the ships leading the charge, The commander let out a loud shout as he charged at the enemy. The target was the marble building overlooking the city. The palace of Yuniah.

This guy is a friendly neighborhood intergalactic spy. Unfortunately, his life is in jeopardy due to his career choice, but his enemies are too wide and too galactic he cannot evade them. So he goes nuclear. 

To start over, he kills his old life but wakes up in an android. Moreover, he also hatches a brilliant plan to make his former life completely disappear, so that he may be considered well and truly dead. 

It's a deadly plan with very low chances of survival but it's all he's got. Will he make it, and more importantly, what kind of new life will he make for himself? 

This is a journey of love, war, and magic. You will also find plenty of Kingdom building going on. A new world and a new lease of life, with nightmares he cannot even begin to fathom.

So, I'm now 5 years old. I'm in Year 1. If I was in Japan, I wouldn't even be going to school. Jesus, my classes are horrible. Everyone keeps treating me like a girl. Heck, even the teachers treat me like one. Well little problems. My friendship with James and Alma is going great. We really bonded over this year. My quirk has also seen some significant growth. I tried infusing the wind element into a paper throwing star, caused it to slice through a curtain. Definitely dangerous. I also find that I could make potions. I thought of Minecraft potion effects and thought 'hey what if I infuse energy and fire element into a water bottle.' First try I caused it to evaporate. Second produce a fire water, drank it by accident and it was like eating concentrated ghost chilli pepper. My tongue is still numb. Milk didn't really work on it. However, I could now produce pepper concentrate on the go. Bound to be useful. The third try, I created a fire resistance potion. Naturally(with me being the avatar) I'm resistant to passive flames. I tested it on an insect. I thought it worked but all it did was make the insect unable to feel temperature. I created a temperature numbing drug. Not bad if I do say so myself. I kept trying until I finally succeeded. Those insects' sacrifices would not be forgotten. My next test was to see if it worked on objects. So, I poured the potion onto a teddy bear and then using my expert control. Almost burned down my house. Yeah, didn't expect for things to go so outta control. Luckily only my bedroom got damaged before mother put out the fire. However, most thing in the room are either water damaged or burn damaged. She decided to flood my room with me in it. She's must me great at her hydro-kinesis. The teddy did survive, so I successfully crafted a potion  of fire resistance. But I won't be doing any more of this. Partially because I might damage the house. But mostly because mother used this as an excuse to sleep with me in the guest bedroom. My father was looking ecstatic, sacrificing his only son just to get some peace 


More importantly, the lives of Kouta's parents. Suggesting that Midoriya's 16 at the time (when they went to their camp outing Midoriya must be 16 at least. Otherwise they did so much in less than a school grade, which  is bullshit.) Kouta's parents must have died when Midoriya was 14. If I am almost the same age as the deku, I have to be able to take on an A/S-rank villain in 9 years. No sweat, Muscular is only like a diluted version of All-Might, Japan's Number 1 hero. Awww Shit. Well I must hope that I'm the same age, but I in some ways, to be part of the MHA world, I kinda need to be in Midoriya's class. 

That aside, time to create a manga and a light novel. Why you may ask, not to get money, but also to make a name and to get some influence. Okay, also money. With my memory retention, I can remember all light novels and plots I have ever seen. And with the manga market saturated with hero manga based on real life. My manga will be an 'original' and 'creative' masterpiece. I can't wait. I'll start with In Another World with My Smartphone. I want publicity, but it doesn't have to be good publicity. My manga will be Dragon ball. This is a classic. With its classical art style and gags, this'll win over the public. Now to convince my parents to get me The Technology.

"Mama, can I have tablet to draw on and watch cat videos." I say in a girlish voice.

"Sorry honey, but I don't think you old enough to have one." She says apologetically.

"Pwease, mama (activate puppy eyes) I really want it. Remember I love you thisssss much" widening my arms in a cute manor.

 She suddenly bolts out the door. Crap, did I overdo it. Well I better write down ten chapters for the light novel. I can't wait for the reaction.

I quickly show the manga I created to my mother and father; they are really impressed with the design as well as the story. They especially like the idea of a kid with a monkey tail and think that a world without quirks is pretty much original. It seems like my mother has some connection with publishers in japan, who knew. She said she would give them a call to see if they would be interested in it while also open a bank account for me.

Crackedhouse Studio, despite the naming sense, is one of the most well respected and influential publishers for Manga, Light novels, magazines and novels. However, anything that interests may be given some support. With branches in major countries around the globe, it allows them to meet with artists. It's an expensive but beneficial to their company in finding new authors.

Although it's competitors, DreamPlanet, slowly gaining popularity, mainly due to their new releases of a few light novels and Manga. Their names are In Another World Without A Quirk, Reincarnated As A Quirkless Sword; Watch Me Rise To The Top, My Wizard Academia and  their most popular manga The Quirk Stealer Skill Is Overpowered. While Crackedhouse Studio struggles to fin an exceptional manga to blow their opposition out of the water, DreamPlanet might steal their spot as number one.

Great, the manga chapter for Hero In Parallel World is late. How am I gonna explain this to the Bossman. God this is a disaster. With the pressure of DreamPlanet, Bossman demanded a decrease for the deadline. We're overburdened. One slipup when he's in a bad mood and I might lose my job. I don't want to work in a black company. Great, another phone call, I hope it's about when I'll get the new chapter.

"Hello this is Okuma Kaori of Crackedhouse studio how may I help you" droned Kaori

"Hello, my name is Shiro Teichi. My daughter created a wonderful manga and would like for your company to publish it. He's a genius 5-year-old. The manga's named Dragon Ball and is likely to gain a lot of popularity. I'll hope (for your sake) that you consider publishing this. Fufufufu." says Teichi.

Shiro Teichi. THE SHIRO TEICHI! The supervillain that devastated Endeavour, hospitalising him. " Y-yes, we would l-love to publish this manga, please submit them to our site and if they meet the criteria, we'll publish it."

"Great, it'll be published under pseudonym called Avatar_Rio. My daughter thought it's fantastic and you do too. Also, you don't have to be so worried. I don't bite... often." replied Teichi before hanging up.

I must tell the Bossman. This is huge.
 
Bossman (will not be named) POV

Kaori just came in panicking. Apparently, THE Shiro Teichi just called saying her daughter, under the fake name Avatar_Rio, wants to upload a manga called 'Drakon Balls' or whatever. I swear the stuff this girl comes up with makes my blood boil. Perhaps it's time to let her go, she's too much of an annoyance. Huh what's this. Somebody called Avatar_Rio just uploaded a manga called Dragon Ball. F@£%. I don't want to piss that woman off. Hopefully decent to the point where i won't get in trouble for publishing it.

~10 minutes later~

This manga is pure genius. It comedic with old school manga style, classic gags and the overall simplicity that you can't find in modern day manga make it wonderful. A 5-year-old created this; I must send somebody to meet this prodigy. I would go myself, but 'that' woman creeps the hell out of me. Kaori looks like you just saved you job.

MC's POV

~2 weeks later~

Looks like they accepted 'my' manga. Time to rake in those Jane Austens (£10 notes). It seems that today I will be meeting with an Editor of Crackedhouse studio. Can't wait. Suddenly, I'm grabbed from behind and before I know it, I'm wearing a summer dress. Ugh. Why does she want to dress me up now. It's bad enough that she makes me get these girly hairstyles... No. Nonononono. I will not meet the editor dressed like this.

*Doorbell rings*

FFS. Why does she want to take away all my dignity.

My father opens the door and invites in the editor. Right now, I am being restrained on my mother's lap.

"Hello, my name Okuma Kaori and I'm the editor sent from Crackedhouse studio. I'm here to speak to the daughter of Shiro Teichi, also known as Avatar_Rio. I'm assuming that the child on Shiro Teichi lap is her darling daughter" Kaori says, giving a bright smile.

What? Is she talking about me. I'm a boy, a boy. What has this woman told you. This defamation and slander. I demand restitution.

"Excuse me Ms, but I'm a boy, a BOY. Not a girl. Ask my father." I reply

I look to my father, All eyes are on him. Hopefully he'll sort this all out. Oh no. The look on my mothers face. It's like she's daring him to agree with me. You can do this, you feel great, you can win this. I keep chanting this over and over. Hoping that this might somewhat negate the inevitable.

"Shiro Kawa is my daughter" he whimpers

"Excuse me husband, I don't think I've heard you. Speak clearly"

"I said Shiro Kawa is my daughter"

The look on my father's face is so pathetic. My mother's face looks proud and happy, grinning from ear to ear. Father... you goddess-damn defeatist.

"Anyway, I'm here to discuss your contract. You will receive £110 for every page drawn and 9.5% royalty when your book is sold. This contract will last a year. At the end of the year it will be renewed. This is so that the amount of money you receive will increase after each year. However, this is dependent on whether or not your manga receives a good response." Kaori states

"What is my anga does bad? Will it be cancelled" I say, tilting my head to the right." Also isn't £110 a little too musch. I'm not complaining but I ant to know why so much."  Rio says (spelling on purpose to make him sound cute to get her off guard)

"The reason is because my boss believes that this manga would do well and that in the future, we will be exclusive partners. And if your manga gets cancelled you could try your luck at another company. But between me and you. I think that this manga is doing great." She replies giving a customer service smile.

There is a total of 519 chapters worth of Dragon ball, with the first 194 being adapted into Dragon ball and the 325 being adapted into Dragon ball Z. The first chapter of dragon ball was 30 pages. That alone is £3,300 but is also an exception. Let's say the average amount of pages was 14 per chapter for the whole of Dragon Ball series(194-1 so 193). I would make £297,220, without royalties, minimum. The Dragon Ball Z chapters also consisted of say 14 pages. I would earn £500,500, without royalties, minimum. I would have to pump out one chapter every week for their magazine and they would adapt every 12.1 chapters into a volume meaning each volume has 192 pages in it. Not bad. I cannot even imagine what the royalties are going to be. And i could easily handle the drawing. Thanks to my adaptable body, I could easily finish a chapter in a day(I don't have to story board and stuff. With memory retention, I can cheat a lot of this.) . This would only decrease as my body becomes more adapted to drawing. So, there is really no downside. Plus, I do not have to waste time story boarding and stuff so that cuts out a lot of it. And all I must do is send in a chapter to make it into their weekly magazine. So, it's 58 chapters per year. Perfect, I knew memory retention was a good choice. However, I do want more royalty.

"Ms, can I get 18% royalties and I'll sign the contract right away."

"Hmmm. Let me make a call and see what I can do." Says Kaori walking out the room. Minutes later she returns. "Okay seems like that's acceptable know time to go over the Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah" [Author goes into the contract, stating a lot of things. Not important.]

As Ms Okuma Kaori leaves, I feel accomplished. With this I'll easily be able to afford my endeavours. But I feel that she thinks I'm a girl. I need to fix that. Picture won't help. If I send them, she might get arrested. I might need to get my birth certificate. But mother locked that down tight. Problem for another day. I'll tell them about the light novel in a few years. Let me create a collection. I doubt anyone will come up with these ideas. And if they do, I'll sue them. Tell them they ripped of my idea and show the a few of the novels. I'll definitely win. Plus, I have my mother. They regret releasing her.

These word mean something. But I'm not sure what. This is my first novel published. And I have very little clue on what to do.

On a white bed, a ten-year-old boy is sitting, his back lying on a pile of soft pillows that support his back so as not to fall.

His body is so fragile and thin it ruptures on anything more than the softest of touches. His hair is wispy broken down to the shoulders.

The boy's face was pale like a tissue, clean yet easily torn. He has just passed his tenth birthday and he was as tiny as a doll, pale with slender limbs. 

A few intravenous cables stuck in his hands. As looked, from his appearance it could be said that he was a patient in this hospital.

And then, despite the sickness, he was reading a book on his hand. More precisely it is a manga book. 

He is reading his most favorite manga, 'Fairy Tail'. However, there were flashes of sadness in both eyes. The manga he read was the last volume of the Fairy Tail manga series, of course, this made him very sad because the things that made his day more meaningful suddenly finished just like that. Moreover, the end of the story was a little not so satisfying for him as he thought there were still many plots that could be developed by the dear mangaka, Hiro Mashima.

Fate is indeed shown no mercy. He is just a child who should live normally and cheerfully with other children out there. Yet, the reality is not as sweet as expected.

Inside this tiny little body, slumber an unknown terrifying disease which makes him only be able to surrender to his fate waiting for his end to arrive.

He was born in one of the most prominent families in his country. His parents had brought famous doctors from all over the world in order to heal their little son. However, their efforts over the years were in vain as the doctors cannot even identify the disease of their child.

On the contrary, the doctors convicted that the life of this child would not live beyond the age of ten.

Thus, the boy decides he will enjoy his remaining lifetime in his own way. He spends his time reading because in the fact reading is his greatest hobby. Especially if what he reads is a novel or manga.

He has read countless novels and manga, and one of them is the Fairy Tail manga. Fairy Tail is his the most favorite manga series, therefore, he is very sad when he receives the last volume of Fairy Tail from his parent.

He sighed deeply as his hand gradually closed the manga he was reading.

"It's time for me too" he lightly laid his body on the bed and hugged his favorite manga on his chest.

It was very painful and tiring. For him during his ten years of life was like an eternal torture. He had held back his strange illness as hard as he could in order to wait to read the final volume of his favorite manga.

Actually, he already felt that his death had arrived yesterday before his tenth birthday, but he did not want to give up because of his abundant love for the Fairy Tail series. He really hopes to be given another day to be able to read the series to the end.

"At least God can still hear" he whispered with his eyes slowly closed as he could feel the light starting to fade and dimmed.

'Why is the Art of Manipulating capped at 80%?' Thought James to himself, he knew that in the manga Lelouch's main power wasn't the Geass, the thing that saved him from countless bad situations was his silver tongue and his intelligence so it couldn't have capped at 80% as this wasn't even a basic skill.

'Let me try this for myself' Thought James as he went to the store's clerk while preparing himself to use for the first time a skill given by the Prodigy System on others.

Putting his most charming smile James told the store's clerk "Good afternoon, I'll take this manga called 'Code Geass'. I heard that today the store has a discounted price for all mangas as they don't sell as much as the other things in the store, such a shame really."

"Really? Nobody told me about a discount today, we have discounts in comics just on Wednesdays as it's a slow day for us. Code Geass is one of the favorites in the store, it's one of my favorites too" The store clerk responded with a polite smile.

'Shit, I think I tried to be 'suave' on my own and I didn't let the skill do its job, let me try this again' Thought James as he felt a little embarrassed but didn't show it in his face.

"My apologies, I may have heard the wrong information. This is really a loss of face for me, how about I treat you with some pastries as soon as you finish your work here and you tell me a little about the next volumes of Code Geass, who knows I may even buy them all" Said James as the words flowed through his mouth.

"It has been some time since someone tried to flirt with me. You know what? I'm in, the name's Stephanie, a pleasure to meet you." The store's clerk that now I know is called Stephanie told me while she had a warm smile on her face.

"Beautiful name for a beautiful lady. I assume you finish working at 7 so I'll be waiting for you at the manga section, we'll go to a nearby cafeteria that I know its opened all night" James told Stephanie as he smiled, picked up his Code Geass manga and went to the manga section again.

'That didn't go as well as I wanted, I need to start trusting the Prodigy System more. I want to know everything this life has to offer and I will not let my doubts hold me down' Thought James as he knew that a part of himself still thinks that he's in a dream.

Shaking his head he brought back the Code Geass manga and put it in its place, picking up another manga called 'One Punch-Man' and started reading it.

What he didn't notice is that a new skill appeared with the other two skills he already had.
