Sighing in relief Robert couldn't hide a smile on his face. It wasn't a smile of hapiness but something sinster like the smile from a villan after defeating the hero. The signs of exhustion was just a farce, thanks to Roberts gamer fruit it doesn't matter if he has 1 HP left or full HP when it comes to mobility.

 Robert is not a human anymore but he didn't believe it to be true until todays battle. Looking down at his torso he couldn't lie to himself anymore. With his rib fragments sticking out here and there on his chest and more than three centimeter deep wounds that didn't bleed he was throughly convinced. 

"Robert are you alive?" Yells Bobby running towards Robert after shooting a marine in the way. 

"Yep I am. You did good job clearing the small fires. Welcome to the crew you have earned it!" Answered Robert with a smile. 

"Really. I-I can join?" Says Bobby with stars in his eyes.

"Yes." Answered Robert shortly in a the tone of authorative manner before grasping Bobby shoulder with his claws in the fully transformed form toward the abandorned marine ship.

"Commodore Nielson.Big trouble!" Yells a moustached marine wearing a captian cloak on his shoulders. 

"Huh. Deal with it yourself. I am busy!" Answers a obese man with a marine tatoo on his bare stormach while waving his hand as if he was warding of a fly. Looking up the moustached marine frowned at Nielsons rude behaviour but held his rebuke in.

Sitting on what could make a throne bow it's head in shame with a a staircase leading up to it sat one of the four marines leaders in the East blue, Commandore George Nielson the head of the marines eighth branch. Ruthless and corrupt to the core none under his leadership didn't fear the commodores wraith. 

"But sir this individual is highly dangerous to the citizins of East Blue and even killed Captian Morgan and Alvidia!" Reports the moustached marine coldly. 

"Who is so daring to kill my nephew!? Offer the highest authorized possible bounty for his capture." Yells Nielson while schattering the wine glass in his hands in fury.  

Nielson orginally could care less about some inhabitants lives but he spent a third of his fortune to make his nephew Morgan to captian to increase his control even futher. Nielson even almost managed to wrestle the western part of East Blue from a another commandore but now he must lick his wounds and return in falliure.  Gritting his teeth Nielson  swore revenge and cursed the culpit and his/her family to die torturously.

A new name became famous overnight and many bounty hunters and pirates scarmbled claim to earn fame from taking the head of the Vulture from East Blue worth 10000 berry.

Kinunutan ng noo si Kelly habang dahan-dahang inihinto ang kotse habang papalapit sa bahay nila. Something's bothering her as she looked at the Craig's residence.

Hindi na ito muling nakabalik dahil nagkaroon ng sakit at hirap nang bumiyahe. Samantalang si Lenny naman ay hindi pa rin bumabalik simula noong umalis ito kasama si Brad. Subalit kahit walang tao roon ay nagpapapunta ng maglilinis ang Mama niya para i-mintina ang ayos at linis ng bahay ng mga Craigs.

"How have you been?" anito sa kaniya.

"Tough," mahina niyang sagot.

Tumango ito, "I can imagine. We feel the same."

Hindi kaagad nakasagot si Kelly nang mula sa front door ay malakas na tumikhim si Kimmy.

Nang lingunin niya ito ay nakita niyang masama ang tinging ipinukol nito kay Lenny bago siya tinitigan, "I heard your car so I went outside. I knew you and Karl would be here once you see the lights are open in this house."

Ibinalik niya ang pansin kay Lenny na nakatingin din kay Kimmy. "I.. didn't expect you to—"

"He came back to bring you an update," putol ni Kimmy sa kaniya.

"Update?"

Ibinalik ni Lenny ang tingin sa kaniya. "I want you to meet someone. Please follow me." Bitbit sa kamay si Karl na nakatingala lang sa kanila ay naglakad si Lenny patungo sa living room.

Si Kelly ay sandaling nilingon si Kimmy na nakasandal sa pinto at nakahalukipkip, "What's happening?"

Kimmy shrugged, "I dont know. That moron won't say anything to me."

Hindi na nagtanong pa si Kelly. Mabilis na siyang sumunod kay Lenny sa living room. Pagkarating doon ay natigilan siya.

A big guy was sitting across the couch wearing a suit. Malaki ang pangangatawan at kulay kape ang balat. A good-looking black man — looking tough and dangerous, too. Like how Brad used to look before, and also Lenny now.

"Kelly, I'd like you to meet Trey Krutz," ani Lenny. "Krutz, this is Kelly and and her son, Karl." Niyuko ni Lenny ang pamangkin at masuyong nginitian.

Kahit siya at nagulat sa sinabi nito. Kung hindi nagtanong si Karl ay siya ang magtatanong.

"Of course, I do. We used to work together."

Hindi nakaligtas sa paningin ni Kelly ang lungkot na dumaan sa mga mata ni Trey nang sabihin nito iyon.

Si Lenny ay muli siyang hinarap, "We arrived this afternoon and we're going back the day after tomorrow. I wasn't supposed to come visit, but Trey needed me to bring him to you."

"What—"

"I'll leave you two here to talk. I'm bringing Karl to your house and stay there for a while"

Hindi na siya nagsalita pang muli nang kargahin ni Lenny ang pamangkin saka siya tinalikuran.

Ilang sandali pa'y naiwan sila ng lalaki sa living area. Humugot siya ng malalim na paghinga bago naupo sa isang sofa kaharap nito matapos siya nitong alalayan. Nang maka-balik na rin ito sa pagkakaupo ay muli itong nagsalita.

"I'm sorry to come unannounced," he started.

She frowned at the man, "It's fine. But I'm confused. Are you here to meet and talk to me?"

"Yes, that is correct."

"Why?"

Matagal bago ito sumagot, ang mga mata ay nakapako lang sa kaniya at tila nag-iisip ito kung papaano sasabihin sa kaniya ng tama ang bagay na nais nitong sabihin. "Because I carry a guilt."

I carry a guilt. Narinig na niya minsan iyon kay Brad, noong sinabi nito sa kaniya ang nangyari sa mission nito sa Afghanistan. When his comrade saved his life. Nanlaki ang mga mata niya. Tulad ba ni Brad ay naroon si Trey para humingi ng tawad dahil iniligtas ito ni Brad dahilan upang— NO!!

"Bernard Craig and I were from the second unit deployed to Cuba almost six years ago. We share the same room along with the other two Marines. We were together as we protected the US Embassy from the rebel group that's terrorizing the city," he started.

Hindi alam ni Kelly kung bakit siya pinanlalamigan sa narinig. Kung ano man ang malalaman niya sa gabing iyon, ay hindi niya alam kung handa ang puso't isip niya.

"Six years ago, these Cuban terrorists attacked the US Embassy, they gunned down some of the soldiers, and set fire to the whole place."

Pumasok sa isip ni Kelly ang narinig na kaguluhan noong huling tumanggap siya ng tawag mula kay Brad. She held her breath.

"It was actually one of those days when these terrorists would go there to attack for the sake of killing themselves. They thought that they can easily seize the U.S. Embassy where a number of Marine soldiers were stationed. They were wrong. We were able to stopped them. Unfortunately in my case, that specific day was not a lucky day. I got shot on my leg several times, resulting to this—" bahagya nitong itinaas ang suot na slacks at doon niya nakita ang prosthetic leg nito. "I was bleeding heavily, but thanks to our medical team, I was still able to get through the pain in the next two days until the military helicopter arrived  to pick up all the wounded soldiers. My last day in Cuba was also the same day when Craig and his squad were scheduled to fly to the Carribean island for their mission. I was actually supposed to come with them. But thanks to my wounds, I was not able to do so."

Napalunok si Kelly nang maramdaman ang panunuyo ng lalamunan at ang pag-gapang ng kilabot sa buo niyang katawan. She didn't need to know all these details... pero may palagay siyang may malalaman siyang mahalagang bagay kaya nanatili siyang nakikinig. Kung may alam si Trey Krutz tungkol kay Brad kaya naroon ito, ay kailangan niyang marinig iyon.

"I'm sorry if it took me five long years to be able to face you, I was actually not planning to do this until I found out about Bernard's father, Mr. Arson Craig, still looking for a lead to his son's disappearance. And you, still waiting for him to come back."

Lalo siyang naguguluhan. Ang nais lang niya ay dumirekta na ito sa nais sabihin.

Muli itong nagpatuloy, "I was discharged from the service after the incident that caused me to lose my leg. Since then, I just learned everything through watching the news. I knew that Bernard and the other Marine soldier were missing in action, but I never thought that..." Trey stopped and took a deep breath. "It must have been hard for you to wait for him these past few years. Not finding the truth about what happened to the missing loved one must have been really depressing."

Huminga siya ng malalim, "What exactly do you want to discuss with me, Mr. Krutz?"

He stared straight into her eyes, "I was one of the guys who last seen Bernard alive, Miss Kelly. And I am the last person he had the oppurtunity to asked a favor."

She frowned again. Pakiramdam niya ay paikot-ikot nalang ang mga sinasabi nito. "What do you mean? What favor?"

"The letter you received for your birthday with the Cuban flower... I wrote it, as per his request."

Pakiramdam ni Kelly ay tinakasan siya ng lakas matapos marinig ang sinabi ng lalaking kaharap. Wala sa sariling napakapit siya sa armrest ng sofa.

"Bernard would always talk about you. He was very happy to learn that you were pregnant, he told everybody," malungkot itong ngumiti. "I think he wanted to write you that letter, but he just didn't have the oppurtunity to do so since the attack at the embassy was really drastic. Bernard and the other six members of his squad was in the meeting for thirty hours, to discuss and plan the mission." He cleared his throat and put his hands on his knees, "I was scheduled to fly to the U.S. Navy hospital ship that afternoon whilst Bernard and his squad were bound to fly to the island in the morning. He was about to get onto that helicopter when he saw me on my wheelchair from afar, watching them leave without me. He ran back and asked me an important favour..."

"If I dont come back alive after this mission, could you please write my future wife a letter? She's celebrating her birthday in three weeks, and I promised her a letter with a flower in it. The flower was pressed into the book I always read and you can find her mail address in the letters under my bed. Please pretend it was me who wrote it, tell her I love her and our unborn baby. She and our baby are the best thing that's ever happened to me, I just want her to know that."

Hindi namamalayan ni Kelly na sunud-sunod nang tumutulo ang luha niya sa magkabila niyang mga pisngi. She was hurt, terribly hurt. Brad knew something bad was going to happen so for one last time, he needed to let her know how much he loved her.

"At first, I hesitated. I didn't want to do it, I didn't want to lie to anyone. But when I heard the news about his disappearance, I started hearing his voice in my mind, reminding me of that favour. He trusted me to do it for him, and so I did. During my confinement at the hospital ship, I did nothing but practice his handwriting. And eventually, I sent you that letter. To grant his one, final wish.

But after learning that you and his family are still searching for him, hoping that he's still alive, I decided to tell you the truth. For a long time, I carried a guilt for giving you false hope. That letter probably gave you an idea that Brad is still alive, I'm sorry about that."

"That letter gave me something to hold on to," she answered as tears continued to fall down her cheeks. "You didn't have to say sorry, so please ease the guilt from your heart." Pumasok sa isip niya noon ang naramdaman ni Brad nang saluhin ng kasama nito ang bala na dapat ay para rito. He carried a guilt even after talking to his comrade's wife. She saw how it hurt him, kaya nais niyang pawiin ang guilt na iyon mula sa lalaking kaharap. Pinahid niya ang mga luha. "Thank you for coming here just to tell me the truth. You didn't have to, you could have just called."

"I just felt like it is just right to do this personally."

She sniffed softly. "Do you also think Brad might be...dead?"

Trey Krutz's face shadowed. "Bernard Craig is currently classified as MIA. As long as there is no body found, or proof that he is gone, we can't conclude that he's dead. He may still be alive... and may return someday. But it is only a presumption, Miss Kelly. You need to always prepare your self about the truth."

Pilit siyang ngumiti, "I know he would be back."

Nanatiling nakatitig sa kaniya si Trey bago ito bumuntong hininga at saka tumango. "Until then, I wish you and Karl hapiness."

"Now that i stand at the top i won't misstreat any of you. Let us enjoy hapiness and sadness together" Chen Xiong said as he looked at his friends with a bright smile on his face.

After that Chen Xiong and his friends spent the rest of the day celebrating at his mansion.
After the celebration with his friends he spent the night with his lover, a beautiful ,blonde cultivator
whose beauty was top on the world and there was no other like her. Her name was Wan Zhing,
a beauty with top talent and the only one who could match with Chen Xiong.

As the next day arose Chen Xiong headed out to find some monsters to fight with in order to help him break through to the divine tribulation and ascend to godhood. He headed towards the deserted plains a scary place with an aura of death around it and it was full of deadly monsters with some of them said to rival even the power of gods.The name of that place was "deserted" plains because there was no one dared to enter exept if they were looking for their own death, but this was not the case for the one who was called the Martial God. He was simply looking for an opponent which could much his unfathomable strenght and help him reach the realm of Gods.

After fighting with some of the deadliest creatures and kept winning with one foot onto the grave  he continued to walk further into the deserted plains to look for more opponents to fight. As he headed deeper and deeper he finaly met the opponent who would help him become a god. It was
a tremendously large dragon with dark scales covering its skin, it's teeth  was sharper than Chen Xiong's sword(which was a divine weapon) and it's tail holded a power wich could destroy mountains and split seas, it's wings were large and tough and could be used as an armor on top of it's scales.

As Chen Xiong walked close to the dragon, the dragon attacked him and with only one swing of his tail he send Chen Xiong flying, but that was not nearly enough to stop the one who achieved the tittle of Martial God. Chen Xiong after getting up he immediately attacked the black dragon without thinking for a second. After that he fought with the dragon for about one hundred days and one hundred nights with their battle coming to an end. Both exhausted and full of life threating injures
decided to bring the battle to an end. Chen Xiong threw his sword at the dragon using a divine technique to instantly kill it but it was to no avail as the dragon dodged by a breath's moment.
Then the dragon immediately took advantage of Chen Xiong's mistake and grabed him with it's tail
to squiz him to death with it's last bit of strenght. After that Chen Xiong whispered at his head
"Is this it for me. I have faced so many hardships and always manage to come out on top with everything i had and now i am about to die due to a simple mistake! No i  refuse to believe, that
I the Martial God will die here i have already come this far and i will be sure to make it through the finish line and become a true God" with that said Chen Xiong gathered the last bit of the remaining qi in his body and concetrated to control his sword and pierce it in the dragon's heart. As the dragon was tired and saw that Chen Xiong was nearly dead he didn't notice the sword till it was inside his heart.

After the battle Chen Xiong was enlightend and was ready to reach the realm of Gods so he headed
back as fast as he could wich took him a while since not too long he escaped death with only a breath.
As he reached home he called for his friend and his lover to guard him till he reaches godhood
since he was weak from the battle before.
One step before the divine tribulation was over and one step before achieving godhood, suddenly as he cultivated he saw a sword coming through his chest he looked back and saw the faces of his friends and lover filled with betrayal.
With the last breath he had, he asked "Why"and the answer he got came out of his lover's mouth Wan Zhing "We have been planning this moment for years to find a chance to kill you and steal all your divine treasures" she said with a disgusting smile.
