Wang Zheng took a deep breath. Instantly, his pupils turned completely red. The black runic mech's aura transformed in an instant. A deep, murderous intent and dark power roiled forth.
Hannibal was shocked. The runic mech was already before his very eyes, and the titanium blade punishingly lancing forward.
TANG.
With a loud sound, Hannibal felt his body shake. F*ck, it was like a completely different person. Berserker?
A very similar situation, but such Ability X could not have such killing power. It was like a soul that had experienced countless deaths and returned from hell itself.
BOOM…
Just a slight waver in his concentration, and the runic mech had already struck out. There was no clear change in the affinity, but it carried a thick layer of blood light.

Before he completely lost consciousness, he had to finish this. Kill!
Hannibal had felt this as well. The opponent's frenzy had a hurriedness to it. Clearly, he had fallen into some state to close this battle. He had encountered too many of these situations.
The Blue Demon mech blocked an attack head on, but immediately used the energy to rise rapidly, drawing the distance apart.

The first step of humanity's contact with the world's powers was awareness. The second step was a borrowing. And now Wang Zheng had reached the third step with his melding. The mighty could control it, using the principles of the power to create even stronger fighting power.
And as for strength, it had no feelings, or bias. It was simply attracted to the strongest desires, the strongest wills, and that gave strength its affinity.
Hannibal was stunned because he felt the frost ability receding. He was gradually losing consciousness and the connection with nature.
This was as horrifying as having his Ability X stolen from him. What was happening?
When he came out of his reverie, he suddenly realized that the ice and fire melded energy was concentrated on the titanium blade.
"Kill!"

A beam of white light swept out. There was no resistance. All was quiet.
In the air, the blue super mech's engine suddenly stalled. The mech split apart in the middle. There were no sparks, and no explosion. It fell apart into an energy vortex and was sucked away.
This was Wang Zheng's strongest move. It was difficult to execute. It was not a forceful meld of ice and fire energy, but instead utilized the resistance between conflicting forces, using the Primordial Regression Technique to fuse them.
Under such interference, Wang Zheng had had no intention of using it at all, but in the end, he had.
This was a flying leap in his level.
Power was like that. Once mastered, it was a slave. That chaotic energy had been completely unleashed, and Wang Zheng felt his body ease. Although he was a little wobbly, he was clear about his own condition.
He had won!
Countless people thronged the streets. Human and giant alike cheered and whooped. In these last few days, the blue demon had floated above the Tita people's heads like the sword of Damocles, ready to reap their lives at any time. And now the demon was finally arrested.
In the presidential palace, Yan Xiaosu was still anxiously pacing. It had been so long, and Wang Zheng's situation had not left him at ease. Previously, Wang Zheng had been extremely confident in battle. He met every opponent with a smile. But this time around, he had shut himself up. Clearly, he was not confident. D*mn, who cared about position and wealth? Life was more important. He really should have stopped him, but d*mn. This matter had escalated until it could not be stopped. If they left, what about Mu Sen and the rest?
That d*mned old alien elder had taken care of them all this time, so that even the cowardly Tyrant Su could not bear to abandon them.

But the super soldier's defeat had lit the fire of confidence in the hearts of Tita Star's citizens. They could defend their homeland, they could triumph over the invaders!

As the translator, I've enjoyed translating this novel and I hope to bring the essence of what the author has tried to portray into the chapters you will read.
To sum it up in 3 words: Mechs! Explosions! Science!
To be perfectly honest, this novel is about your typically overpowered protagonist who does get looked down from time to time but always overcomes the odds with his own special power. He's abit more mature having grown up on his own and just a littttttttle bit dense.
Although it always ends up with him winning, it always happens in an interesting (subjective) and fun way that makes me enjoy reading this.
The novel has elements of lighthearted comedy from time to time and I do chuckle at how direct the humor is.
It's not as smart as say WMW nor does it weave an intricate story much like Ergen's novels. More importantly, its fun and it doesn't try to hide it.


"Look, Yanyan, you can't keep avoiding Ted forever, this is the first day you've met, it's not too late to change your first impression on each other" Celestia said as she continues to put her other clothes on the white-painted pocket doors styled closet with a large mirror in front, she reserved the right side for Lilie's. They decided to share one bedroom even though there are more.
Lilie insisted on it, besides, it will lessen her bad vibes on what happened earlier, she's looking forward to catching up with Celestia and of course, opening her weird feelings toward her another friend, Lance or Ted…or whatever!
She hugs the fluffy white pillow tighter. She hates the way he talks, moves and even types on a cellphone, yet why did she do that? Why did she kiss him?
He even rendered her speechless when she's about to wage a war on that Wei Li…
'Come on Lilie, this trip is not about you, you have to be with Celestia" she reminded herself, slapping her face slightly.
Lilie started taking mental notes on what topics should they discuss to avert the talk about her and Ted.
"So… you and Hannibal eh?" she asked, changing the course of their conversation, Celestia didn't even notice Lilie's well-thought deceit plan.
They have just finished eating lunch below, the hotel offers a buffet meal, and from eating to walking up on the third floor, where their room is located, Lilie never spoke a thing, quite miraculous if you will ask Celestia.
The fourth, also the last floor of the hotel, is reserved for the person or people who stay in the two presidential suites.
Celestia's mind is full of what to say, where to start, and well, practically where to begin with everything on her life. All she knows is that she needed a month to rest, to prepare and to settle down these rumbling feelings of her.
She sits down on Lilie's bed, "Hmm, we had a thing" Celestia replied, unsure, 'I mean he asked me to be his girlfriend when Logan barged in…'
"That emperor is a nice guy. I remember on our childhood days, he admired Logan before, I saw him intentionally make himself the loser on a science fair so that Logan can still have the spot for three consecutive years" the brown-haired woman sighed, "What happened with you two exactly? Logan called me for help, saying he finally found you. I was shocked back then, that's the first time that male creature called me! And I was on a freaking date the moment he called. Then I hurried off to Ainilagary empire, my pilot almost wrecked chaos up in the air." Lilie chuckled, reminiscing the day she found out her dead friend is now alive and kicking.
Many said that Celestia is dead, that she's gone forever, but Lilie and Celestia's children, Aiden and Eden, won't believe any rumor, what they seek is the proof, the body but none resurfaced on those two years.
"Hahaha, thank you for rescuing me. I can imagine the confused look of the gentleman you left," the golden-haired woman replied as she too, joins Yanyan on laying at the white-sheeted bed.
'I guess I miss Yanyan more than I think'
She's the same as before, young, wild and free. Qualities that Celestia admire.
Unlike her who changed drastically, from a nagger to a sealed lipped person. Yanyan stayed the same.
She learned that acting hastily within the palace and with Logan will only cause nothing but problems and drama, lots of it.  
 "Hahaha, it's fine, I was bored talking to him anyway. One of my brother's scheme, he worries I will become a spinster at this rate. What can he do? I'm enjoying life by dating whoever I want." And disposing who she doesn't want.
Seeing herself being tied up too soon, Lilie can't visualize herself, having kids and settling down like Celestia. That's why her support for the upcoming wedding is not that hyped.
Her best friend should enjoy other fish in the sea!
Although she already caught the biggest one…and has another big fish on the hook.
"Good thing you're enjoying right now. I'm sure you won't become a spinster, a long line of men is waiting for you every day!" Celestia responded, her best friend is very pretty, no man will resist a charm like hers!
"You flatter me too much. Anyway, going back, Logan and Hannibal, I can already step your long hair Rapunzel! Millions of girls are dying to be on your spot, I'm not even exaggerating hahaha" Yanyan said, eyeing her with amusement.
"They can switch with mine, being in the middle is not always fun as it seems" Celestia pointed out, it's draining all her energy away. Between the two emperors, Logan who got cured and Hannibal who still, up to this day, is against the idea with the cure like Dominick Feng, it would've been easier if, among the four emperors, it was Hannibal whom she first met.
They share the same principles after all.
Being Helen is a lot easier than being Celestia.
It feels strange though, to think that in this lifetime, she wasn't able to meet Logan in the forest in Thusha, thinking about it, becoming a stranger to Logan and not birthing to the twins, she feels like a hole has been created in her heart, a deep longing that she will run after again and again even if it hurts.
With Hannibal, things are a lot easier, but with Logan, she feels complete even when hurting.
"Hmm. If I were you…" Lilie said and stopped for a bit to think.
Choosing between Logan and Hannibal, Lilie's vote certainly goes to none other than…
"Grayson. My brother of course!" she merrily sits down and claps, having Celestia as her sister-in-law? That's the dream! How come she only thought of that now?
"I can sabotage his upcoming wedding for you," Yanyan replied evilly, a smirk showing on her face. It looks like she will have to play the role of being an evil sister of Grayson Rowan.
'Be prepared my brother's soon to be wife, Daenerys Regan!'
"Pfft, no thanks, your brother is a great man, yes, but I can't sow more discord. Maybe, in my next lifetime! Hahaha" she responded, riding on with the joke of Yanyan.
After laughing too much, sadness still lingers in the atmosphere, momentarily happiness cannot patch up her real feelings. It's like putting on a band-aid in a gunshot wound.
"You know the answer, right? The answer to, between Logan and Hannibal, who do you love more?" Yanyan replied, and she cannot be righter than now. Because truly, she knows, Celestia knows, she just wants to escape.  
A moment passed by, Celestia heaved a long sigh, being an adult has been hard on her, especially when the time seems to stop when it comes to her life, whenever she's on the verge of growing, of being stronger, something, an event or a person always serves as a hindrance.
"Lilie. If this person, say, is incapable of loving, will you stick with him, knowing that he will never reciprocate what you have? Or will you flee yourself from the shackles and find another even if it means being inconsiderate?" she asked while looking at the ceiling, lifting her hands above as if reaching for something unreachable and unknown.
Celestia has no choice anyway, she will marry Logan. She just wants to hear what other people think if they've been put into the same situation.
"I will cling into him. Even if our whole empire, Alutia empire, and my brother, Grayson, don't believe in love anymore, I take the opposite road. No cure can erase love in our system, we are made to love and it will always prevail. They are just fooling themselves, feeling numb for a moment." Lilie huffed, "And if you're talking about Logan, that man still has a heart and believe me, someday, it will all be worth it"
Celestia feels something warm up in her heart, she began hoping again.
Thinking of what happened before, Logan never said why he's extremely angry with Hannibal when he caught them, is it because he's jealous?
'Jealousy huh? That man injected himself the ex-memoria drug to forget about me! He took the cure and never even chased me when all I want is for him, to come running' a small tear escaped from Celestia's eyes, she misses her family and it's only been a day since she left.

She tried to act tough all this time, pretending she's fine, but inside this dimly-lit room, her barriers crumbled. Thinking about Logan has always caused her pain. Why can't that damn man chase her?

At this point, her true feelings uncover, all this time, hidden beneath her heart, it will always be Logan.

Without waiting for Lilie to respond, the lady walked out the door with her hand tightly gripping on her chest, more specifically, to the bluebell of Alutia.

Then he flicks one throwing card towards a training dummy before it stops midair still rotating insanely fast and then it rushes at the training dummies head cutting it cleanly off.

Hannibal: "What a drag, Yo, am I finally done with this ridiculous training?" The boy says to the man in a jester outfit standing beside him.

Fool: "Hahaha! Yes! Yes! Now only a handful of people could match you! Good.." The Jester says with a deranged smile.

'God this guy freaks me out. Thank god this is the last time I'll see him.' Hannibal says to himself making the rest of the Tarot's chuckle.

Hannibal: "Okay… Withdraw." And with those words, the Jester turns into a black tarot card before sinking into my chest

{ Hannibal's Perspective } 

' Hmm… I think it's finally time for me to descend, but where should I go first?'  after pondering on it for a while I decide I will just start in Kuoh Town. And then I snap my fingers, and then red thunder strikes me like I've angered Zeus himself before I find myself in an alleyway, then I hear screaming and yelling

Hannibal: "Ugh, I just got here and I'm already forced into this cliche? Fuck it." Then I slowly start walking towards the sound of the noise and I see 5 men surrounding a stunning girl with dark purple hair and very great assets

"What a drag," I say out loud alerting the 5 men, then the girl also looks at me with pleading eyes for me to save her.

Thug: "Hey get outta here! Mind your business and maybe you'll live longer." He says trying to intimidate me

Hannibal: "If you wanna do that to the girl then you have to pay me 50000 yen," I say with a smile on my face

And then the thugs start bursting into laughter, almost like this is a fucking comedy show

"Haha! Kid, you're something, I'll give you 15 seconds to run and I won't hurt you!" Who I assume is the boss

Slowly walking towards the boss of the thugs, my boots sounding every step and the subtle splashes of water echoing in the alleyway. Every step I take the Thug's become more and more frightened.

"How about you die for me mongrel?" Before I open my hand above his chest and then I use gravity to pull his heart out before crushing it in his face, turning to the other four thugs I look at them before saying

"Fall." Before crushing all their hearts with my hands doing the motion. Finally, I look at the woman

Woman: "P-p-please... Don't hurt me…" she says while blocking her line of sight from me and cowering in the corner of the alleyway

Hannibal: "Did you really think I would save you just to kill you..?" I say with an indifferent expression

Woman: "T-thank you so much, I'll make sure to never speak a word of this to anyone... So I'll be on my wa-" before she could finish speaking I cut her off by saying
Hannibal: "Let me rephrase this, did you really think I would save you for free? How are you gonna repay me." I state

Woman: "Well… I don't have any m-money on me right now so…" looking like she wants to run I speak

Hannibal: "I do need a maid, It would be difficult finding one so now you're my maid. I won't take no for an answer. What's your name?"

Confused, she looks at me for a minute before she clears her throat and adjusts her clothes

"My name is.. Naiomi Oki.." Introducing herself she looks a little bit more docile now but never the less still anxious.

Hannibal:  "Mmm, don't really like it. I'll call you Mika now." With a snap of my fingers, she's suddenly in a french maid outfit similar to Greyfia, except there's a tiny little cross on it.

Taking another look at her again, she has a very pretty face with a mole under her right eye, with purple hair that matches amethyst and skin that radiates youth

"Perfect fit! That looks great on you! I impress myself sometimes." I burst out laughing until I realize that she's looking at me weird.

Hannibal: "Sigh... Nevermind, take me to your house I will explain some things to you." I tell her while walking out of the alleyway. 

Mika: "Umm ughhh… Why do you need to go to my h-house..?" she says 

Hannibal: "Obviously to sleep right?" Then I walk out the alley

The whole way home people gave me and Mika stranges looks to the point she felt embarrassed, and then she opens the door inviting me in I sit on her couch.

With her staring at me before sitting opposite of me she sits there waiting for me to speak

"Do you believe in the supernatural Mika?" I say with an indifferent face, for a moment she looks like she was contemplating what words to say

Mika: "U-um... Well, not until I met you I guess. Why did you come to my house?" she states the last part with a quiet voice.

Hannibal: "Well, I just came down to this place so, and you're not my maid no? What's yours is mine, even your soul."

Mika: "But I'm not even good at being a maid?" 

Hannibal: "Don't care, I'll deal with that later. But for now, I'm going to sleep. Don't wake me up."

And then I get up from the chair I was sitting on and then head into her bedroom and start sleeping.

Her standing outside the room door I can hear her say

"B-but… that's my bed…" 

Hannibal: "Hehe you can hop in if you want!" with a grin and my eyes still closed, she blushes before storming off into the living room and cursing my name

It is my second week in this world, After some 'training' (which was just me putting knowledge in her head)  I've asked Mika to enroll me at Kuoh Academy as a third-year, Today I will unleash [The Tower] onto the world. 

Flying into space, I reach the Thermosphere which is 80-700 KM above ground, and with that, a card magically appears in my hand, this card has a picture of a great tower drawn onto it and then I flick the card a few meters away from me.

And then slowly a giant tower starts constructing itself when it's finished. A great tower made out of stone could be seen hanging upside down, with 10 floors each the size of a state there's more than enough space and facilities to do anything.

Teleporting to the inside of the tower you could see the lobby interior looks like a majestic victorian hall. 
With tall pillars erupting from the dark marble floor to the seemingly infinite roof. I teleport Mika to me

With Mika appearing in front of me she falls on her ass before standing up and dusting herself off

Mika: "Yes Master? Is there anything you need?" surprised again by how much her personality has changed she's more like Grayfia.

Hannibal: "Today I will give you some power to help you serve me better is that okay?" 

Mika: "Yes… thank you." And when she finishes speaking I throw a [Servant Tarot Card] On her right chest

This card will give her the same abilities as a Super class devil with a few more additions.

When the card sinks into her heart, she starts glowing yellow before her body starts changing.

Her hair growing longer all the way to her stomach area and her bust growing bigger with increasing pressure, it stops

Mika: "T-thank you, Master." And with that, I shoo her out of the room and she leaves 

Then I walk to the majestic looking throne at the end of the hall before sitting and then planning my next actions. 

There are 5 more days until the canon starts. What shall I do?

"You called?"
Anoth's voice echoed against the high ceiling of Ashera's court room. Hadar, reclined on his high-backed chair, gazed at his general with the side of his face resting on his knuckles. "Don't you have something to tell me?" the king spoke at length.
Anoth took a deep breath. "Is it about what your Watcher told you?"
"It's about what you've done that prompted a Watcher to visit me."
Anoth stared silently back.
"Do I need to call for your subordinates?" prompted the king. "Or would you man up and say it yourself?"
"We couldn't buy more livestock to feed the Abomination, so we rounded up some from Gaea?"
Hadar scowled. "You mean, you stole livestock from Gaea?"
"The money you gave wasn't enough, so we resorted to ..." Anoth paused for a better word. "Fetching livestock without paying for them," he finished.
"Did you ask for more money from Kohar?"
Anoth shifted his weight to his other leg. "No."
"Why not? If money wasn't enough, why didn't you ask for more? Or did you lose some of it yourself?"
"No, I didn't!" Anoth bellowed in indignation. "I mean ..."
Now that he thought about it, he did lose the last of the funds after getting drunk. How does he admit his shortcoming? Anoth was fumbling for the next words when a voice chimed in from behind.
"If I may speak, sire, it seems Anoth did not lose the money all on his own." It was Kohar who spoke. "Let me present to you a witness."
A fidgety soldier came forward. Anoth had removed this soldier from post after the coward squealed about the Abomination killing his comrade.
"You highness," Beneberak spoke in an unsteady voice, "that the fund meant for the Abomination was misspent was not entirely General Anoth's fault. A soldier, his name Hannibal, connived with the merchants of Ashera to artificially double the price of livestock. As a result, we were only able to buy at most half the livestock budgeted for the Abomination.
Anoth hawed. "I didn't know that."
Beneberak looked around to where Anoth stood. "You sent me off my post, my lord, before I could tell you."
"Oh?" Anoth stroked his chin. "Could it be why Hannibal urged me to get rid of you? That sneak!"
"How did you obtain this information?" the king asked Beneberak.
"I heard it from his own mouth, sire," replied Beneberak, "when Hannibal discussed his scheme with Adoniel."
"You mean Adoniel's in this too?" Anoth could not believe his ears.
"Adoniel?" Hadar's brow furrowed deeper. "Kohar, bring this Adoniel over."
Adoniel appeared collected when he came in, yet somehow looked emotional. His eyes were wide with apprehension.
The king went straight for the kill. "When I ordered livestock brought to the woods, is it true that you and Hannibal had the prices doubled so you could pocket half the money?"
Adoniel's head fell forward. "Yes, my king," he confessed. "I sincerely apologize."
"You don't think apology is enough to make up for it, do you? I can have your head off your shoulder for this."
"I understand, my king." Adoniel's voice cracked. "I shall offer my head if that is what you decide."
"Aren't you being unbelievably meek?" remarked the king. "Where's the toughness of Ashera's soldier?"
"After what we did in Gaea, my king, I've no choice but to prepare for the consequences." Adoniel's face has turned a deep red.
"You mean, after stealing Gaea's livestock?" Hadar clarified.
"No, my king, after our attempt to violate the princess of Gaea, I know I'd be in so much trouble."
"You did what!" The edge in Hadar voice bounced off the ceiling of the courtroom.
"Oh, haven't the General told you yet?" Adoniel looked up. "When the princess of Gaea arrived in the orchard where we scouted for livestock, Hannibal wanted to force the princess of Gaea so much. I couldn't stop him, my king."
Like a river after heavy rainfall, Adoniel burst into uncoerced confession. "However, as it turned out, Gaea's princess was a skilled fighter. When Hannibal was about to die by her spear, I couldn't help myself, my king. I jumped in to save Hannibal and let him have his way with the princess. I couldn't help it, my king. Between my comrade and a foreigner, I could not but choose my comrade no matter how I disagree with him."
For a moment Hadar studied the obsequious soldier, groveling on the floor as he finished. "Whose idea was it to steal livestock from Gaea?"
Heads turned toward Anoth.
Anoth shifted in unease. "It was Hannibal's idea."
"You're not even owning up to this," said the king. "Are you pushing all the blame to Hannibal?"
"You asked whose idea it was! Well, it wasn't mine," Anoth bellowed. "It was my decision, but not my idea. I never thought of stealing livestock from Gaea until Hannibal made the proposal."
Hadar glowered at his general. "Kohar, bring in Hannibal," the king ordered without shifting his gaze.
"My warm and humble greetings, your majesty!" Hannibal brimmed with confidence when he entered.
"Let's get this straight," the king started. "When we procured livestock to send to the woods, did you convince Ashera's merchants to double their price, so you can pocket half the money."
Hannibal swung his hips to one side.
"Yes or no?" the king prompted.
"No, my king," Hannibal replied, "not half, but only a quarter. I have to split it with Adoniel after all. It pays to be truthful to your partner when the both of you pursue a business idea."
Hadar's jaw clenched. "Was it also your idea to steal livestock from Gaea?"
"Yes, my king. After all, what with all the livestock we send to the wild, Ashera's supply may not last long."
"Did you attempt to **** the princess of Gaea?"
"My king, who could resist devouring a succulent fruit when it rolls into your plate? It was perfectly normal for a man to respond to the stirrings of his nature, especially when the object of his urges comes to him on its own."

"Now, pray tell me," the king continued, "is there any reason around Cosmons good enough to keep me from clubbing that head of yours off your shoulders?"
"Yes, my king," Hannibal was swift to reply. "We may have caused you trouble in our foray into Gaea, but we wouldn't have uncovered a very powerful secret otherwise. My king, all this time we've lived in fear of the Abomination, but our incursion into Gaea proved to us that this should never have been the case. At the critical moment when I was about to penetrate the princess of Gaea, their Abominations came out. Yes, my king, Gaea has got some Abominations of their own, and they came to their princess' aid. Somehow the princess has gained control over them. If we could learn their princess' trick, we'd be able to control our Abominations too.
"Yet, not a single grain of this knowledge we would ever learn had we not stepped into Gaea, stolen their livestock and attacked their princess," Hannibal went on. "God's grace absolves me, my king. Now, I hope you, your highness, absolve me as well."
