This is my first book and is a sci-fi detective story please review if you want more like this.

For the aging Fang Ning, moving had always been a troublesome task because every time his rent increased, he would need to move…
After that was browsing through houses and choosing a place, then packing his belongings and getting a moving truck to transport his stuff. 
With the hassle of all these tasks—although he was a bachelor—he would need to spend three to four days to settle down. 
However, though they had a huge household now, it was surprisingly easier to move with over a trillion subordinates under his command. 
It was because all of their belongings were with Sir System—they would be wherever he went. 
That was why he never worried about getting robbed. 
After deciding to move out, the only thing needed was to inform Old Man Zheng who was on Earth, then fly directly to where the Seven Lunar Mansions of the Azure Dragons were and everything would be done. 
As the nodes for the Milky Way Nets Above Snares Below had fallen into place, it was also easier to fly over and land on a nearer node, then teleport themselves over after. 
This was the Milky Way Highway. 
"Where should we stay?" Sir System asked. 
"At the First Mansion of the Horn, of course, there's the beginning of everything," Fang Ning said as a matter-of-factly. 
"And I thought there was something more special to it, is it that simple?"
"It's always been this way."
As they spoke, the Azure Dragon arrived at the First Mansion of the Horn. 
As the long dragon appeared in this empty segment of the Galaxy, starlight had bouts of quivering. 
"Eh, that fellow still remembers me?" Sir System stared at the faraway magnitude 1 star, the First Mansion of the Horn and asked. 
"Can it not remember you? You became so big and buff at the time, you must've left a deep psychological trauma on its little heart," Fang Ning said, dumbstruck.
"I see, I should grow stronger then."
As he spoke, the Azure Dragon started growing bigger and longer and went specifically in front of the star and showed off its wings. 
As expected, the star started to tremble intensely as if it met its worst enemy. 
"No wonder, there are so many saints in the Upper Realm, it's so easy to fool this newly-born planet consciousness," Fang Ning said shaking his head. 
"Alright, it should submit by now," Sir System answered smugly. 
Then, the Azure Dragon flew to another planet and shrunk its body—but not by a lot.
Its dragon head was at the North Pole and its tail at the South Pole, every degree of latitude was circled by the dragon's body. 
"It's not been easy, I can finally stretch my body as I please now," Fang Ning said, satisfied, "Quick, let me see what your System Domain looks like?"
"It'll be done right away."
The entirety of the Azure Dragon's body started to emit rays of bright white light that surrounded the whole unnamed planet. 
"It's done," Sir System replied. 
"This, this is too fast. Are you sure this isn't a pirated version of the System Domain?" Fang Ning was shocked.
"You'll know when you head out and take a look."
Fang Ning floated out of the System Space and was met with a deserted terrain.
The surface of the ground was covered with rocks as a bone-chilling wind kept blowing, it seemed like it was quite a distance from the bright star, the First Mansion of the Horn. 
Over the faraway horizon shone a range of mountains—uh, it was his dragon body. 
"There isn't any difference?" Fang Ning said, puzzled as he looked left and right and found nothing special.
"Uh, sorry, I forgot to add a Dog Eyes buff for you." Sir System apologized. 
System Notification: [The System has unveiled "Spirit Gaze" to share its visual effects with the Host.]
Fang Ning was instantly stunned, after that, he looked down at a boulder nearby. 
As he reached out and swiped, the boulder became a neat stack of building stones. 
"Tsk, it became a world of codes?!" Fang Ning exclaimed in surprise. 
The solid entities before him that he originally saw had all become data objects. 
As an ex-programmer with ten years of experience, he quickly got familiar with it. 
With a mere simple touch of his hand, he managed to change the boulder's object properties to become building stones. 
"Hahaha, this is the extent of my System Domain's prowess, bet you didn't expect that huh? Ah, here, this is an exclusive System programming manual, get back here and quickly get familiar with it, I'll entrust you with the important task of building the System Kingdom," Sir System said proudly. 
A 10m meter thick book then fell to Fang Ning's feet. 
Fang Ning's face paled. 
He said faintly, "This is too sudden, why didn't you let me know earlier so that I can be mentally prepared for this?" 
"Nonsense, if I told you, wouldn't you have sneakily done some preparations?" Sir System was presumptuous. 
Fang Ning had no courage to open the ginormous book, he could not imagine that after going around so long, he still ended up with this impressive job as a programmer!
Truly, what goes around, comes around. 
At this moment, Heavenly Book baby in its bright golden glow similarly flew out of the System Space. 
As soon as it flew out, it pounced on the enormous book. 
A moment later, the huge book disappeared. 
Instantly angered, Sir System burst out. "B*stard, you stupid book, you're causing trouble for me again, that's my System programming manual! Spit it out right now, you know, five hundred experience points were consumed to compile this…" 
 "…" Fang Ning was at a loss for words. 
At that instant, a System Notification appeared in Fang Ning's mind.
[Mythical-level gamebook absorbed System Programming Manual, Mythical-level function, Game World has changed.] 
After that, the Heavenly Book flew into Fang Ning's arms.
"It'll be easier for you now, Master, I repackaged it for you," Heavenly Book baby said as it flipped open its pages. 
"Uh, let me see." 
Fang Ning was overjoyed, he took a look at it and found a game scene on the open pages. 
The scenery in the game corresponded with the view before him. 
No longer were there glaring codes and data and in their place was an actual game. 
Just like playing a simulation building game, he quickly started to build a house on that page. 
Before him, a house appeared simultaneously. 
Sir System muttered sulkily. "Damn it, you can't do this, you're cheating, you have to program with underlying codes, only then will it be effective, playing with these surface visual programming will just waste away your skills."
"What do you know? Visual programming is the trend now." 
"Mmm, I'll build you your System Kingdom right now, what style do you prefer? Gothic, Han and Tang Dynasty-inspired, sci-fi or mystery style?" Fang Ning squatted on a rock while holding Heavenly Book baby closely as he started playing excitedly. 
"I was so blind to have actually created a stupid book like you…" Sir System said weakly. 
"Stop grumbling over there, isn't this a way to encourage a happy working experience? I'll satisfy all your demands, so complain less and work more, are you unhappy to see me relax?" Fang Ning asked distastefully. 
"Build me a sci-fi style one then, I want people to be scared half to death when they see it, but it must also conceal my true nature. Star-destroying cannons, black hole weapons, Milky Way maelstroms…" Sir System finally let Fang Ning go and started listing his demands. 
"No problem, you sure have a lot of ideas, I'll do it for you now." Fang Ning quickly started operating on the game. 
As he operated, the deserted ground started changing unceasingly. 
Pieces of crystal-shaped materials appeared and then started building their future sci-fi base…


Procrastinator extraordinaire, Fang Ning, had lost his consciousness after banging his head on a night of celebration. He woke up to a realization that he no longer had control of his body, as a System had taken it over. Will he eventually regain control of his body or will he be trapped in his body forever? How does he maneuver this situation? What's in store for Fang Ning?

First off, I would like to point out that this is a fannovel of a popular (and loved by myself) military sci-fi shooter called Halo. Most Characters, Settings, Weapons and Locations within this book, are respectfully the property of 343 Industries, I do not own any of the aforementioned, this is a fan project dedicated towards this amazing franchise, not for profit nor publicity.

 I would like to thank Bungie for creating such an amazing game series that has been around for nearly two decades. And thank the wonderful people at 343 Industries who push on hard to uphold the Halo series today. 

I would like to also thank a particular inspiration to me as certain people may be able to infer from the cover and title of this fanbook. Eric Nylund, a great author and one who helped to breathe life into such an amazing franchise, even before Halo CE was released, loved by Halo Fans everywhere. I would also like to thank, and credit Fred Van Lente, who created the four main characters used in this fanbook, Van Lente created the main characters, and I hold no ownership over them. Fred is a great comic and book writer, making amazing works on not just Halo, but numerous Superheroes from the MARVEL franchise.

Chapter 642: negotiation?

"are you sure he didn't do it on purpose?" gu kuangen's face was gloomy as he looked at shi cai ning and asked.

Shi cai ning nodded. "mr. yang tian had a very good evaluation when he was young. he was very easygoing, but there's a rumor that he has a weird habit. if he doesn't finish writing a book, he won't come out of seclusion. i think this rumor is true."

"shall we continue to wait?" gu kuangen frowned and said unhappily.

Shi cai ning pondered for a moment,"... you can send him some sci-fi blockbusters that haven't been shown yet, or you can send him something special to broaden his mind..."

"won't this backfire?" gu kuangen frowned. in the past, mr. yang tian never accepted gifts, and he had a very strange personality.

Shi cai ning nodded, "i've checked his information. although he's famous now, he donates a million dollars every year to some schools that need it. his heart isn't bad, and he's very low-key. besides, it's not like he's giving money. i think this method is feasible."

Gu kuangen smiled. he reached out and stroked her hair. "then we'll do as you say!"

When it came to sci-fi, old man gu loved to watch sci-fi movies the most. even though there were very few sci-fi movies at that time, he was very attentive. every time there was a big movie or a photo exhibition about the moon and the sun, he would keep a copy of the information.

Therefore, there was a thick notebook in the gu family. it was full of information that old man gu had collected. when gu kuangen was young, he had browsed through it and was shocked by the pictures.

Now, it was just the right time to use it. therefore, gu kuangen immediately went back to the old residence and found the large notebook that his grandfather had collected. he asked cheng li to send it to mr. yang tian.

Two days passed.

Gu kuangen was quite optimistic about the project in the field of film and television. if mr. yang tian did not sell the copyright, the project proposal that cai ning had painstakingly worked on would probably be scrapped.

Of course, he did not want such a large ip to fall into the hands of others. therefore, he had to take over the copyright of mr. yang tian's three novels!

On the third day, his assistant called cheng li again. his attitude was very good, saying that he hoped that they would wait for another three days.

Generally speaking, the big-name directors and producers could not stand such a rejection. in the past, many people had insisted on it four or five times, but they did not insist on it anymore.

However, gu kuangen continued to wait. on the fifth day, mr. yang tian's assistant finally told them a piece of good news. mr. yang tian had already come out of seclusion and could meet his guests!

Gu kuangen could not help but look forward to it and excitedly went to meet the guests as promised.

The place was set at mr. yang tian's home.

He was a person who did not like to go out, and gu kuangen understood him.

Shi cai ning did not go with him. when mr. yang tian saw gu kuangen, he immediately smiled and shook his hand, "hello, mr. gu! thanks to old mr. gu's notebook, i was able to complete the ending of the book in my hand! otherwise... i would probably have to go into closed-door cultivation for another month before i could complete it!"

Gu kuangen did not expect yang tian to be so enthusiastic. he maintained his smile and answered him in a neither servile nor overbearing manner.

"hehe, young man, i'm really sorry, sorry!" yang tian laughed. previously, his assistant had said that gu kuangen wanted to buy the copyright of the novel that he had created. he had also asked his assistant to investigate.

He discovered that gu kuangen was the youngest person that the president had ever met. moreover, he was young and had a promising career. the performance of the newly acquired entertainment company was also on the rise.

Mr. yang tian and gu entered the study for more than an hour to discuss secretly. cheng li thought he would be able to take down the copyright of the novel.

10 Classic Superheroes, Ranked By Their Origin Stories

Not everyone is born a hero. In the case of superheroes, it's a singular moment that typically sets the individual on the path to becoming a force for good. That's what is known as the origin story. Whether it's an alien with unbelievable powers or a regular Earthling who's just trying to do the best with their natural talents, each comic book protagonist has an experience that leads them on their heroic path. And boy, have there been a lot of these told for both classic and modern heroes. 

The comic book medium has been going strong for more 75 years, and over those decades hundreds, if not thousands, of superheroes have been introduced. Typically these origin stories have been seen across a variety of media by both passionate comic book fans and people who are just looking for a good tale. And just because a hero is successful doesn't mean that they got off to the best start with their origin stories, but when these tales are told right, they're the stuff of legend. Here are some of the most famous superheroes of all time ranked by how great and epic their origin stories are.

1. The X-Men

Of course, each individual X-Men has their own unique stories, but together the team's origin tale is a classic. As mutants, they were all born with their abilities rather than imbued with them by science, magic or aliens. Consequently, many of these people face mistrust and bigotry from the general population who view them as freaks of nature. However, despite their persecution, they still use their powers to protect the innocent. Brought together by Charles Xavier, the X-Men not only combat threats ranging from fanatical humans to fellow mutants, but their overall mission is to fight for the rights of their fellow mutants and usher in a world of acceptance and peace. So even though their overall story is based in a superhero world, it's memorable because their goals are similar to what many of us want to achieve in real life.

2. The Flash (Barry Allen)

In the 1950s, DC Comics decided to relaunch several of their most successful superheroes from the 1940s as new individuals. The Flash was the first to receive this treatment, being reintroduced in 1956 as forensic scientist Barry Allen. While working late in his lab one night, he was struck by lightning, which subsequently knocked him into shelf full of chemicals. After waking up, he discovered he could run at superhuman speeds, and donning the red and yellow costume that's become much more recognizable than his predecessor's, Barry became the new Flash and built a quite a supporting cast. Visually it's one of the best origins on this list, but it also has a distinct sci-fi feel to it that few DC hero origins had before it. Many non-comic book fans saw this origin told for the first time back in October on the CW series The Flash.

3. Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)

Green Lantern was the second DC hero to be revitalized during the Silver Age of comic books. This time around, test pilot Hal Jordan inherited a special ring after it was bequeathed to him by a dying alien named Abin Sur who had crash-landed on Earth. Unlike the magical ring that the Golden Age Green Lantern wore, Hal Jordan's ring was a product of science that allowed him to use his willpower to fly and make solid constructs with his mind. Inheriting Abin Sur's legacy, Hal became the new Green Lantern of Sector 2814, and the first human to ever join the Green Lantern Corps. Like The Flash, it's memorable for its sci-fi feel, but also to due to how this Green Lantern inherited his heroic legacy from a mysterious visitor (which would later be repeated with Kyle Rayner) whereas his predecessor Alan Scott just sort of stumbled upon his power.

Seen On Screen: In the flawed, but right now only, Green Lantern origin movie with Ryan Reynolds, which hit theaters in 2011.

4. Iron Man

Although the location for Iron Man's origin has changed several times throughout the decades, the story itself has not. While demonstrating some of his creations abroad, Tony Stark was injured and taken captive by enemy soldiers. While in captivity, he was forced to build weapons for these terrorists, but with the help of scientist Ho Yinsen, he built a mechanical suit that allowed him to defeat his captors and escape to freedom. With a renewed perspective on life, Tony uses his new armor to protect the innocent as Iron Man. Not only is it one of best redemption origin stories and full of action as Tony escaped his imprisonment, it also showed that not everyone who becomes a superhero starts out as a moral individual. Sometimes takes a nudge (or in Tony's case nearly dying from shrapnel in your heart) to discover your true potential.

Seen On Screen: Stark's destiny was brought to life by Jon Favreau in 2008's Iron Man, with Robert Downey Jr. in the lead.

5 Captain America

Captain America's origin story wouldn't work well as an anti-drug PSA, but it's an excellent story of trumping over the odds. Steve Rogerswanted to serve in World War II, but his scrawny body and ill health prevented him from enlisting. Fortunately for him, he was chosen as the test subject for Project Rebirth, and after being injected with the Super Soldier Serum, his body became the epitome of physical perfection. Soon after the scientist who created the serum was assassinated by a Nazi spy, leaving the serum's formula lost and making Steve the only one of his kind. He subsequently became Captain America to not only to help defeat the Axis forces, but to become one of the most well-known superheroes in the present-day after being frozen for decades. As mentioned earlier, it's memorable for featuring the little guy rising up to beat the odds, but it also helps that it was an important reflection of the era he was created in and even inspired good to defeat evil in real life.

Well tomorrow is my first day of sophomore year . 
Am I excited?
Nope , not a tinge .
Because I know just how it will be , so there's nothing interesting.
Well yesterday my parents and I just went to the book fare and my dad bought me  "Romeo and Juliet" even though I am not into romance .
I am just more of a fantasy , sci-fi lover . "Percy Jackson "and "Harry Potter", "Maze runner", I know all of them .
My dad says that sophomore year might be a chance to win over someone's heart . I don't think so . So he said that "Romeo And  Juliet" would be a good book to start with but I eventually fell asleep while reading the book and when I woke up I decided to write to you . 

It's kind of amazing to think that I am writing to someone who doesn't know me . I really love writing to you and I hope you love knowing my life too , though it's not too good but hey! I am just trying to make my life work . 
Worthless to say , I don't know why but I am counting on this year . You know there's this type of feeling when you give up your hopes but you still feel like something's going to happen, something interesting. Well , that's kind of a feeling I am having now.
But GUT FEELINGS ARE NOT ALWAYS TRUE.
So let's see what happens tomorrow. I promise I will write you after I come back from school .

In fact, in addition to Central Power, Jiang Chen had a better choice—Yoto Power. However, due to the aftereffects of the nuclear accident, Yoto Power had yet to solve the problem of compensation and aftermath. In a high-end business bar in Shinjuku, a black car stopped at the door.

"Mr. Jiang is my guest. How dare you stop him at the door?"
This sentence was obviously for Jiang Chen because the server cearly didn't understand.
A young man walked out of the bar. He was also in a suit. His proper appearance could be considered handsome, but he was half a head shorter than Jiang Chen. He first lectured the server with a few words then put on a smile and greeted Jiang Chen.
"The hospitality here isn't good. I hope Mr. Jiang can forgive me."
Jiang Chen raised his eyebrows and smiled slightly.
"No worries. Come to speak of it, Mr. Sumitomo arrived first?"
"Allow me to be honest. This business bar is one of Sumitomo's assets. When Mr. Jiang called, we were negotiating with Yoto Power." Sumitomo gestured at the bar. "Please come inside."
Jiang Chen followed him in. "Oh? If you don't mind me asking, what business is it?"
"About the merger and acquisition of the power management rights of a city in the county."
When Sumitomo said that, he was quite confident, so Jiang Chen, who was walking next to him, actually eyed him for a few seconds.
Showing the strength of one's own side without any traces, it seemed that the intelligence of Sumitomo Foundation was certainly quite informed, and they already knew the topic of today's negotiation.
From the layout of the bar, this so-called high-end business bar didn't have the blinding lights and loud music of other bars. The lighting in the lobby was soft and the decor was elegant with a Western design and a touch of traditional style.
Most people who drank there were in business formal attire.
A beautiful waiter took the two to the lounge deep in the bar and respectfully opened the door for the duo.
However, before entering, Sumitomo stopped Jiang Chen and turned to look at him.
"Do you need to take a bath first?"
Jiang Chen paused for a moment then smiled and shook his head. "No, I have a date tonight."
There was only one possibility to take a bath here.
If he had time, he wouldn't mind experiencing their "unique" culture, but since he still needed to attend Liu Yao's premiere, the timing wouldn't necessarily work out.
Sumitomo squeezed his eyebrows at Jiang Chen with an expression that all men would understand, but he obviously misinterpreted.
"That's really a pity. Since Mr. Jiang has other arrangements this evening, I can only treat you next time."
Turning around, Sumitomo winked at the waiter, indicating that she could leave for now. He then smiled and looked at Jiang Chen to invite him into the room.
"Please come in."
Jiang Chen gestured to the bodyguards to stay at the door then he stepped into the private room.
At Shinjuku Piccadilly Cinema, as the first sci-fi masterpiece to go abroad, the premiere of "The Three-Body Problem" was quite grand. Backed by the rich and powerful Future Technology, the crew's budget was more than sufficient. They directly rented out the entrance of Piccadilly Cinema and the most high-end first auditorium.
The premiere was at eight o'clock, but it was just a little after six when the press were already gathered at the entrance as well as special guests, film critics, and fans who received premiere tickets through various channels.
The process of walking the red carpet had yet to begin, but the flash of cameras already colored the night.
For this sci-fi movie from Hua, Nippon sci-fi fans were more surprised than looking forward to it. As early as the release of this film in Hua, trailers and low-pixel versions of the movie had already flowed to other countries.
The special effects technology of Hua was only mediocre at best. In many people's minds, they acquiesced this fact.
And it was precisely because of this that Nippon fans were so surprised since what they saw from the trailer made it completely unimaginable that the film was produced from the hands of Hua filmmakers; it was more likely made from Hollywood studios from across the Pacific.
While interviewing the crew, the reporters didn't ignore the audience.
"I hope it lives up to my expectations. It's my first time attending a premiere."
"Hua has science fiction films? Ha, unbelievable! I must debunk their lies in person..."
"I read that novel. It seems to be good, but I doubt it... I've never heard of this producer. Do they have the ability to put this film on the screen? In my honest opinion, even if it was a Hollywood filmmaker, it's hard to restore some of the details from the book."
"The trailer was good. I hope the movie is the same."
"Shao Feng is so handsome!"
"Liu Yao is so beautiful! Is there a poster of her? Do they sell these at the premiere? Or can they only be bought on Amazon? But it's too late—I want her signature!"
"..."
On the other hand, Liu Yao, who was already wearing her evening gown, stood in front of the media camera with a smile, ready to be interviewed. Unlike her cute appearance when she was around Jiang Chen, she was graceful and elegant, quite a goddess.
Chen Yuqing already made arrangements for what questions could be answered, and what questions should be answered in advance. Although the questions were fired at her like cannonballs, she still responded calmly and comfortably.
However, as time gradually approached eight o'clock, a hint of anxiety was starting to show, and her gorgeous eyes drifted to the entrance of the theater from time to time.
After she finally got rid of the media, Liu Yao returned to the dressing room, weary and exhausted. She still had to walk the red carpet, and she fixed up her makeup. The makeup artist had already been waiting for a long time. Almost as soon as she sat down, she grabbed the brush and foundation and began to work her magic.
Sitting there completely motionless and letting the makeup artist transform her face and hair, she looked at herself in the mirror and squeezed out a beautiful smile.
"Are you ready? My Majesty the Queen." Chen Yuqing, standing next to her, joked.
Liu Yao smiled and hit her best friend jokingly. "Be careful, the Queen will hit your butt. "
After fooling around for a while, Liu Yao got in front of the mirror and carefully checked to see if there were any blemishes. Chen Yuqing stood behind her, coughed, and reminded her, "It's time to take the red carpet."
"Okay."
With a smile, Liu Yao was full of confidence.
It was her first time appearing as the leading actress and walking the red carpet abroad.
However, there was a commotion coming from outside...

On the island on the right side of the aircraft carrier.
This was the command center of the entire aircraft carrier. Of course, Merika had removed all the important equipment, so it was now empty—perfect as a temporary lounge for Hong Dali…
Hong Dali put his head on Li Nianwei's lap while listening to Ling Xiaoyi report the latest news.
Ling Xiaoyi looked at the notebook in her hand and said, "Young Master, right now, the purchase of steel, welding rods, steel pipes, integrated circuit chips, and other manufacturing equipment cost a total of 12 million. Airfreight for the soil, turf, sand for the beach, swimming pool building materials and coconut trees are estimated at about 32 million. Other related costs are currently being calculated, and I believe that the preliminary costs will be available soon."
"So many things and they cost less than 50 million?" Hong Dali was very dissatisfied with the result. "It's too little…"

"Rascal, 45 million and you think it's too little?" The Bureau Chief muttered. "That's 45 million, it's enough for a lot of people to survive for a few lifetimes! You just squandered it without even batting an eyelid!"
"It's really too little…" Hong Dali grinned. "Oh whatever, I'll spend more later… Right, Xiaoyi, take note. Construct a spectators stand outside the football field later. It should surround the field and be enclosed. This island shall be the VIP room!"
Ling Xiaoyi did not know whether to laugh or cry and just nodded her head. "Okay, Young Master." Then, she took note of it in her book.
The Bureau Chief covered his face with his hand.
Goodness, the rascal was getting started again…
Just as expected, Hong Dali continued with his arrangements. "Build some high-class hotels outside the stadium. They should be at least six stars and connect directly to the bottom of the carrier. Then, make some windows on the bottom of the carrier. We should be able to see the scenery underwater. Yes, that should be a somewhat good strategy."
A big hotel on the carrier that leads straight under sea level so it was possible to see the fish in the sea! This prodigal had a really daring imagination!
They had a stadium, high-class hotels, and the sun and beach were next on the list. Hong Dali continued with his instructions. "Lay the beach, plant some trees, flowers, and turf, perhaps make a beach volleyball court or something. Oh yes, broaden the carrier's deck and make the water intake or whatever it's called bigger. We're making a man-made island, after all. Also, build some fishing decks on the water. What else, let me think…"
At that point, Hong Dali stopped to think before continuing. "Yes, there should be some places for other boats to dock. Right, make a floating restaurant. We'll call it 'ALL BLUE!!'"
Refurbishing the carrier into a stadium, high-class hotel, beach volleyball and floating restaurant…
The Bureau Chief continued muttering, "This little rascal is not your normal overkill…" Regardless, he had witnessed something new today…
"O… okay…" Ling Xiaoyi continued taking notes, sweating profusely.
And so, the planning for man-made island Big Fish was somewhat finished. Next was sci-fi Second Fish. Hong Dali asked the Bureau Chief, "Say, Uncle Chief, I intend to install some high-tech weapons on Second Fish. Super-electromagnetic guns, laser weapons, intercontinental missiles, and whatever else we've got! If there are too little, I will be too embarrassed to greet people!"
He finally started talking about the sci-fi carrier, but how was it that his words made one feel like hitting him?
The Bureau Chief just felt like hitting him. "Rascal! Do you think those are like cabbages at the roadside, you can buy as many as you like? Those are all key projects of the State, not something you can get just because you say so!"
"I can't have them?" Hong Dali sniffled and boldly started threatening the Bureau Chief. "I already said I did not want the military rank. I have the rank but no benefits. What use is it if I can't have anything? I quit! You can have the Major General rank back!"
The Bureau Chief took a deep breath…
He really felt like strangling the rascal. The problem was, he could only think about it. In the end, the Bureau Chief still had to say helplessly, "Request for something practical, please. Actually, even if we were to let you have all those weapons, it's not a big deal. The problem is, your carrier does not have enough power. The super-electromagnetic gun needs a lot of electric energy, and the generator of this aircraft carrier is obviously insufficient for it. We do not have such a strong battery in our country at present. I could get you some fighter planes or tanks, though. How about getting some conventional weapons instead?"
"What's interesting about conventional weapons?" Hong Dali pouted. "Chuyin, do you have any new weapons? Something high level! Something super-duper powered! Something that will have people trembling in fear upon hearing its name!"
"Oh." Lin Chuyin, who had been using the computer quietly all along, turned around after hearing what Hong Dali said. She thought about it and said, "The new concept weapons refers to weapons which have different basic principles, damage, destructive power, and way of warfare when compared to conventional weapons. They are usually a new type of weapon that is still under development or being explored as a possibility. The development of technology is bringing about tremendous changes in military weapons and equipment, and it has opened up broad prospects for the development of new non-nuclear weapons. In the near future, newer and more powerful weapon systems will be developed and used in warfare. These weapons are called new concept weapons.
"The new concept weapons that can be theoretically manufactured right now are laser weapons, high-power microwave weapons, particle beam weapons, electromagnetic launching weapons, kinetic energy interceptors, meteorological weapons, cyber warfare weapons, particle genetic weapons, and beam energy weapons."
When the little lass finished speaking, she looked at Hong Dali. "If there aren't any, we can consider making some."
Now! The real show had finally started!
The Bureau Chief secretly laughed and had an inconsolable expression on. "Dali, it's really not that I don't want to give you those. The thing is, the State doesn't have any surplus, either. These weapons are still in development. Unfortunately, progress is slow. If you are really in a hurry, tell me what kind of weapons you want and I'll get some for you? I know that you like things in huge quantities. What do you think?"
This little rascal had many secrets hidden. He had to cooperate, wait, and see. Perhaps there was something in it for him. New concept weapons? New super conventional weapons? Or completely unexpected weapons?
Anyway, it would not disappoint. That was certain—this fellow will share!
"Well…" Hong Dali was slightly disappointed. He sighed and said, "In that case, I'll just make do and take one hundred fighter planes and tanks each. I'll see if I can make anything good out of them."
Damn, this was going against the heavens!
One hundred fighter planes and one hundred tanks! Damn. Does our Heavenly State even have that many?!
"That…" The Bureau Chief hesitated for real this time. "We could get that many for you. The problem is, this carrier cannot fit that many. It's only that big…"
The aircraft carrier was not small, but the only way to carry a hundred fighter planes would be to stack them up…
"All right, then." Hong Dali knew that the Bureau Chief was right. This aircraft carrier probably would not fit so many planes. "In that case, give me twenty fighter planes first. I will use them to ferry visitors. In the future, when my father and mother want to visit, I can use those to fetch them here…."
"Rascal, come on!" The Bureau Chief raged. "You're really going to use fighter planes to pick up visitors! That's a fighter plane! It will cost twenty or thirty thousand for each the moment it takes off! Can't you use a helicopter to pick up visitors?!"
"Using a helicopter for the aircraft carrier?" Hong Dali opened his eyes wide. "Uncle Chief, don't you think that's shameful?"
Eh? What he said actually made sense. I am at a loss as to what to say!
The Bureau Chief was stunned by Hong Dali's response. Finally, he gave in. "Rascal, you win. Twenty it will be!" He turned around instantly, muttering as he dashed off, "This rascal, if I stay a moment longer with him I will be infuriated to the point where it might induce dementia!"
After the Bureau Chief left.
Tang Muxin sat down and signed Lin Chuyin. She asked, "Dali, is there anything else we can do with the two aircraft carriers? I feel that a man-made island and a sci-fi carrier are not enough. The important thing is that these two refurbishments will not be complete in the short term."
"Yes, that's true." As he spoke, Hong Dali rubbed his chin and started thinking.
Tang Muxin was right. Whether it was building the man-made island or the sci-fi carrier, work would take at least a few months to more than a year. Neither could be rushed. The problem was that Hong Dali was still a student. When the holidays ended, he had to return to school.
"I've got it." Hong Dali's eyes lit up. "Let's move the school here! While the sci-fi town is being built on the outer area of Tianjing Mountain, we'll build a school here and get the teachers here. Yes, get the students as well. I estimate space should be sufficient. Anyway, if it's not enough, we'll just add some."
Tang Muxin: "…" Ling Xiaoyi: "…" Li Nianwei: "…"
Fine, this fellow was really a legendary nouveau riche. He really did whatever came to his mind! Moving the entire Tianjing aristocratic school to the carrier, wandering around the world while having class… Damn, it sounded really exciting!
Now that the school was set to be moved onto the aircraft carrier, the next was naturally the most important building, Chenhui Building.
Sure enough, Hong Dali decided without a second thought. "Move Chenhui Building in as well. Right, the laboratory is the most important thing, so put it on Second Fish. Put Caiwei Entertainment on Big Fish. Move these two first, I'll decide on the rest later."
Right, the Bureau Chief did say previously that Hong Dali was getting ready to change the world map.
As it turned out, he was savage. He changed a really huge part of the map this time. All the ocean of the world now belonged to Hong Dali! The goal of transmigration was the sea of stars!
And so, after turning around, Hong Dali muttered while falling asleep, "Oh, then we can wander around the world. This is quite good…" Then he fell asleep…


"I have to squander; otherwise, won't it be a waste of my parent's talent at earning money?" Hong Dali answers a reporter's question matter-of-factly. 

Just after the interview ends, Hong Dali opens the Great Prodigal System's interface and looks at the various good stuff displayed in it. Stroking his chin, he mumbles to himself, "I just need to squander 200 billion yuan more to exchange for the blueprint of the core technology, Engine Destruction, found in the strongest humanoid mecha weapon, Neo Granzon. Looks like I'll have to work harder!"

This is a story I have daydreams about all my life. It is filled with odd things and even more things that mat make you wonder where I got my ideas.

First off a bit about me and my inspirations:

I love Anime, fantasy, sci-fi, medieval times, video games and magic. I had a hard yet privileged life growing up. Got to travel a lot and do a lot of fun stuff but it always came with a price of some sort.

You will see some of my travels shape some of the story. I have 2 kids and work 3 jobs.

Now on to an upload schedule. I will try to do a chapter at least once a week... maybe more if i can find extra time to write. I would expect them to be on either Sunday or Monday evening.
