Basically I pulled a couple of pictures from one of my favorite comic!


Upon entering the shop, Ting Ying glanced around casually. The first thing that caught her eye was the cat god sculpture—it was hard not to notice, as it was simply there, squatting next to the second automatic door, almost like a guardian staring indifferently at the passers-by. 
She got close to it, squatted down, and read the card in front of the sculpture, which told the history of this cat god. She didn't know why, but this sculpture reminded her of the golden cat she had once seen in the church door. She couldn't get the cat out of her mind since then. 
"Can a take a photo of the cat god sculpture?" She asked.
No one responded.
She then asked again. Lu Yiyun answered without raising her head, "Whatever."
Ting Ying took out her phone and took a selfie with the cat god sculpture, then posted it on her WeChat moments. She noticed that Luo Qingyu was still talking to other people. Feeling bored, she wandered outside. She had thought Lu Yiyun was just sitting behind the cashier and playing games with her head down, but then she saw her pen moving quickly, and took a longer look out of curiosity. 
"Wow! You are a great artist!" Ting Ying said in awe.
Lu Yiyun's nose was itchy, which made her want to sneeze, so she rubbed it. She found a long black hair just under her nose. Hearing what Ting Ying said, she blushed a bit. Although she had heard the compliment from her customers a lot recently, she was still not used to it.
"Huh? Are you drawing a comic series on Weibo? Your name is Yun Xin, right?" Ting Ying was looking at the bottom right hand side of the screen and recognized Lu Yiyun's signature. 
Lu Yiyun was shocked. "You know about it?"
"Of course, I am a loyal subscriber!" Ting Ying said excitedly. "Why did it stop? Has it been moved to another website or something?" 
"No, I didn't continue painting because no one saw it." Lu Yiyun then shook her head, seeming upset. 
"But I do! I really like your painting style, and I am kicking myself for missing the final part!" Ting Ying said, pointing to herself. 
Lu Yiyun was delighted. She had not expected to meet a fan here, but she was not used to expressing her feelings. It took her a long time before she finally said, "I'm sorry…"
"No worries. So are you still up to drawing other comics?" Ting Ying asked seriously as she put her arm on the counter.
Lu Yiyun hesitated, then said quietly, "There will probably be one published soon…" She had drawn a short story about Zhang Zian, Kathy, and an Abyssinian cat before, and was pretty satisfied with it. She was thinking about making a longer one based on this short story. 
"Wow! That's great! I sometimes cosplay characters from stories I like. When your comic becomes a hit, what do you say I cosplay the character in it?" Ting Ying asked.

"Then, it's a deal!" Ting Ying clapped, then stood up. "I'll leave you to painting."

Ting Ying was a little bit confused. Apparently, the biggest selling point for the seller was the dancing talent of the cats. If the seller was anyone else, he would definitely sell that point and brag about it. However this shopkeeper didn't take advantage of this fact. On the contrary, he even advised her not to "get the casket and return the pearl." She thought about his words, and realized it was really a good metaphor—the cats were the pearl, and the dancing skill just embellished the value of these cats. It would be totally wrong if you buy the "pearl" when you actually wanted "basket." And because of this, she had a good first impression of the shop owner and started to trust him.
Luo Qingyu, on the other hand, didn't understand the meaning of Zhang Zian's words. All he wanted was to take pictures. He was very disappointed when he heard Zhang Zian, so he kept mumbling, while Zhang Zian just ignored him.

She looked at Fina for a while. The longer she looked at it, the more she liked it. She had to turn her head around, otherwise she could not help herself from touching it. 
There were plenty of kittens in the store, running and playing, rushing beside her feet. There were several kittens friendly with one another, cuddling in a circle, and lovingly licking each others fur. 
She heard something above her head. When she raised her head, she made eye contact with some pairs of eyes. On the dark brown wooden shelf, there were a few cats squatting in a line. The strong bodies, the cute face, and the chocolate brown hair were shining under the light, mysteriously. The eyes in particular looked like they had seen a lot of things throughout history. She didn't know it was an Abyssinian cat. It was just this scene that triggered her memory and reminded her of something, something that used to touch her soul.
Ting Ying turned around and gazed at Zhang Zian, then asked quietly, "Store manager, may I ask how you taught them to dance?"
"Because I am a cat trainer," Zhang Zian responded naturally.

I was prepared to play the loner once again, after all it gave me more time to work on my projects. But at the end, I was aware that having friends would certainly ease my mother's worries. Besides, the prospect of having a pair of cute blond haired and blue eyed girls as friends, was hard to give up. 

"I had already promised you to ask my sister after school" I said calmy. 

We were just waiting for the school day to end, and it seemed that they wanted to remind once again about continuing the story. 

"But you said that last week" Ellie pouted. 

"Yeah, why should we believe you?!" Emma added. 

"Liar!" They both said at the same time with their characteristic twin sync power. 

This again. They were just playing around, but I thought that they had already forgotten about it after this monday. 

I could already see the direction this conversation would take if I left it unattended. They would annoy me to death.

After we became friends, I had told them about how I was writing lots of stories. They were extremely interested when I revealed that some of those stories were about princesses. But until now, I had ignored any pleading they gave me to let them read any. 

"Yes. My mother finally approved my writing, so I'm confident that this story is good enough, and will be popular in the future!" I said confidently while giving them my notebook. 

To bring the stories from my previous world to this one, I have planned since I was little to start with writing books. For that reason, I've worked tirelessly in improving my writing. 

"I love Anna! Emma said when they finished reading my story. 

"Me too! And Elsa is so cool with her ice powers" Ellie added.

"But it would be better with pictures!" The both of them said. 

Of course, if I could get published having pictures on the book was necessary, especially considering that it will be aimed to little girls. 

"I'm glad that you like it. I promise to let you read others stories so you can give me your opinion" I said to them. "Also, I'll ask Hannah to draw some of the princesses, so you can see how they would look" 

"Yay!" They said while giving each other a high five. 

"But don't forget about the comic" Ellie suddenly added with a serious tone, which caught off guard and made me nod absently. 

After that, we talked for a little bit longer until it was time to go home. I said my goodbyes to the twins and went on my way to reunite with Hanna. Who usually waited for me near the school gates. 

"Sammy!" Was all I heard before being lifted off the ground by a strong hug. 

"Hanna, what happened?" I asked. She was clearly excited over something. 

"Our comic. I showed it to my art teacher and she liked it a lot. She even said that it could be published at the local newspaper" She said happily. 

That's surprising. I never even considered this method to get stories getting known to the public. Even if the local newspaper wasn't as popular as other ones, it was still a huge platform. 

"That's amazing big sis!" I said, and I truly mean it. I was really happy about it. 

"I know! Now all we have to do is to finish a couple of comics more, and Miss Eva will do the rest" She said while squeezing me harder. 

"Incredible... But, could you put me down already?" I added after a while with a tired smile. 

"Nope, hehe" She laughed and continued to hug me tight, until our mother finally came to my rescue. 

The conversation towards home was particularly loud. Hanna talked on and on about what her teacher said, and how me and her were going to work all weekend to get the next chapter of our comic ready. 

I didn't complain about it, but I planned to talk with my sister about not getting too carried away. She normally takes my opinion into consideration, so I wasn't that worried about it.

Quirks or even elements of quirks can be classified according to strength as follows:

Utility- Quirk has a range of applications.
Weapon- Quirk has an inherent danger to it, or raises the inherent danger level of the user.
Epic- Innately dangerous or uncounterable. A reincarnation/high healing factor on the level of Wolverine (comics) could be considered Epic without being directly weaponizable.
Mythic- unfathomable. Capable of miracles, like resurrection (likely with a time limit, but still powerful), one man nuke, etc. Yaoyorozu might have a move that pushes her into this territory. The Final Solution.

Another thing to consider with Quirks is the Growth Rate/Type:
Mundane growth rates can vary, but are classified by the fact that they can only grow in the same way a Quirkless person could grow in threat level: exercise for strength and training for skills. 
Other than Mundane growth, Quirks could grow in capacity in age or by a built in mechanic, and are classified from Slow to Godly. Demonic is also applicable, but tends to be used when there is something... wrong... with the mechanic. 
Growth Rate and Type are mostly things to consider for hero candidates, as established heroes are likely to have aged past the need for growth. Another thing to think about when considering growth is equipment compatibility. Some Quirks will increase in growth rate if a suitable tool is paired with them. Consider jet boots on Uraraka, or giving her drones that need less power and noise to function due to neutralized gravity. She could then expand into being a type of sensory hero.

While not directly related to the Quirk Strength, a hero can be classified from F rank to S rank based on a combination of their Quirk Strength and how well they are used. I'd like to call this an Operator Level. As a prime example, consider Mirio Togata of the Big Three recently introduced in the anime. By my reckoning, his phasing Quirk is just a Utility, but his application and precision in using it puts him into upper A if not S rank operator. For another example, there is Uraraka, who also has a Utility Quirk and showed her skill in using it against Bakugou. On the other end of the scale could be All Might, who due to injury, has stepped back in Operator Level due to the time limit incurred. 
I think that the average, untrained hero candidate's Operator Level is around C at best. Those who have trained hard on their own could reach B tier, and the most powerful students will be A. S rank would be veterans of the industry, or given to special talents if one factors in age. As for those who have really simple Quirks, like Deku's mom (no offense) due to innate power levels, are rarely ranked. Still, even the Quirkless could be S ranked if trained well enough. Ever read the Vigilante spinoff? Or heard of Batman? They would be S rank operators without Quirks at all. 

As far as other ways to classify Quirks, look no further than Brandon Sanderson's Reckoners trilogy, which is also a superpowered society. All Might has a time limit, Deku has a power cap or he destroys himself, Iida overheats, Uraraka gets sick, Kaminari short circuits, stuff like that. Kai has a couple of weaknesses that are covered in the prologue, but I'll explain that more viscerally when it comes time for it. 

More on Quirks:
It is a confirmed though unacknowledged phenomenon in canon that there is a lot of instinctive knowledge that comes with having a Quirk. Take Toga (drinks blood for shapeshift creepy girl) or Stain for example. Without instincts driving them to consume blood, they would have gone through life thinking they were Quirkless. Clearly, procedures that come with activation of a Quirk are ingrained into the user. 
Obviously, that is a little different for Deku, who has to figure things out. Things aren't as natural for him. And One for All is a unique Quirk to begin with. 

It is confirmed that there are Quirks that operate directly on Quirks. Three examples are given: All For One, One For All, and Aizawa's Eraser Quirk. While these would be rare, they are clearly not unheard of. Just having a Quirk that operates directly on other Quirks might put your power level into Epic, but with limitations considered, that might be difficult.
