In the end, Lu Zhou did not pick any mission. 
Both mission two and three were inside the scope of consideration. Mission three was a higher priority than mission two even though they both cost around the same amount of time to complete. 
After all, the 20,000 mathematics experience point was really tempting. Furthermore, it also had a 100% blueprint prize probability. When he walked out of the bathroom humming, a cool breeze blew through and his entire body relaxed. He could not help but stretch. 
Samples from the high tech system were really good. Although he did not feel an obvious increase in strength or reaction speed, he felt better physically. 
At least, the fatigue and injury that were accumulated from staying up late were cured by the needle. He went from unhealthy to almost healthy overnight. 
At this moment, the dorm door was suddenly pushed open. Liu Rui and Shi Shang both rushed in as they tried to wake Huang Guangming up. 
"F*ck me, what's wrong with you two."

Nelson woke up with his mind at ease. He dreamt that he graduated from the academy and finally reached his life long dream. Nelson's first action was to sigh as he laments his now bleak future.

Nelson knew that this is his last day to stay here. His eyes looked around the room which he has fought for with endless competitions. He didn't know why but he feels calm as if he has infinite strength after waking up. Nelson knew deep inside that this should be the saddest day in his life, but he still smiled unconsciously.

Nelson ate some cereal before packing his stuff. He only has a few stuff in the room so he finished quite quickly.

Nelson didn't look back as he left his room. Nelson's group of friends surrounded him as he entered the hallway. Immediately, his friends started speaking.

"Woah! Nelson, I didn't know that you're such a brave person. To even dare hook up with a girl inside the male's dorm, I'm full of admiration towards you!"

"Yeah, the thrill must've felt great for the two of you."

"Nelson remember us even after you leave the academy. For such a brave person, you'll surely be a great person in the future"

Nelson's friends started showering him some praises. The first one to speak was Yorl Light, a teen that admires beauty so much. The second to speak was Jorin Maik, his words out of place. And lastly, the third one to speak was Veen Night, a good friend. Though their words irritate Nelson very much, it still warmed his heart after knowing that they didn't throw their friendship away after news of him to be kicked out spread to the male's dorm.

"I didn't do it though..."

Nelson could only whisper this because he knew that his friends would most likely not believe him. Even he himself would doubt it if it weren't for the fact that he is the concerned party.

Nelson walked towards the elevators and his friends followed behind him.

"The Dorm Master is so despicable! He actually directly reported you to the Student Offense Department"

"Yeah, shouldn't he be just giving out punishments like moving you a floor down?"

"Right? How come the Dorm Master is so furious? Sanjek, that bastard, even brought girls to the dorm 2 times. He only got moved 3 floors down if you add it up"

Veen Night was fuming in righteous rage as he spoke first. Second one was Jorin Maik, he agreed immediately as he also felt things seem out of place. Lastly Yorl Light, cursed Sanjek Daran a playboy targeting susceptible transferees.

Sanjek Daran has a history of making 100+ girls cry. He is basically a trash worse than trash in the eyes of the senior female students in the academy. He even once had four timed on one occasion leading to a disaster that almost took his life.

Today, Sanjek Daran would at most two time. He's basically the scum of the academy. If not for the fact that he has above average talent, he would have already been kicked out from all the petitions the academy has been receiving.

Nelson naturally knew the reason why. His emotions remained calm because he has already accepted all of this.

The trio stopped bothering Nelson as they noticed that he's not responding. They can understand his feelings. They know that Nelson must be feeling anxious over this matter.

"You can get through this dude"

"Yeah, we're sure that you'll still become a great person after leaving the academy"

"I hate to admit it, but I can only console you because the academy's decision will most likely not be overthrown"

The trio then thought of ways to console Nelson. Their actions giving Nelson a good laugh. He's really not that desperate yet.

"Haha..."

"What are you laughing at?" x3

"Nothing. Anyway, thanks for the concern"

Nelson's mood lightened up after seeing his friends getting so worked up. They have been through many challenges in the academy together. Now they're still doing all of this for him at his lowest moment.

The elevator is quite fast as it uses magnetic locking and magnetic levitation to move. No need for pulley systems and stuff that slows down the elevator's speed.

They reached the lobby almost immediately. Nelson was greeted with a lobby full of people. He can see many students crowding the place. Most of the students in the crowd are the male occupants of the dorm. While in the minority are some of the interested females who loves to spread the word.

The arrival of the four triggered a domino effect. Hundreds of heads cranked to look. Everyone searched as they looked at a portrait in their hand and compared it to the four.

"It's him!"

Soon a voice sounded out that confirmed everyone's guess. Indeed, that guy is Nelson Hansen, "the guy who challenged the purity of the male's dorm". Like a celebrity, students wearing pins with a big 'NEWS' word took picture of Nelson. Their light blinding the four who was assaulted by the sudden flash.

Nelson cursed at the photographer in his mind. Doesn't that guy have manners? He actually maxed out the luminosity of his flash, Nelson thought.

The trio behind Nelson cursed in their mind too. They really can't believe that someone still uses bright flashes when the camera quality is 4GP(4 Gigapixels) and the camera can even capture clear images from the dark.

The student with the 'NEWS' pin didn't pay attention to their glares. He kept taking pictures as if to spite them.

Nelson's group took much effort to arrive before the exit. Nelson then received an SMS on his phone.

"Nelson Hansen, please proceed to the Student Offense Department's Student Trial Court" — automated SMS Do Not Reply

After glancing at the message, Nelson led the way as they proceeded to the Student Trial Court. Following behind them are the journalists and some gossipers. Many of which wear a 'NEWS' pin on their chest.

The Berdan News Journal is the only organization inside the academy allowed to wear a pin with a big 'NEWS' word on it. They are a stubborn bunch. Some of the seniors of the organization are even willing to record warfares on site.

The one in the lead is the arrogant photographer earlier. He seems to be respected by the others.

Nelson looked at his phone and saw a recent news article published by the Berdan News Journal. His eyes almost popping out of their eye sockets as he saw the ridiculous title.

"Berdan Academy's #1 Playboy Sanjek Daran challenged by someone as this brave person brought a girl inside the Male's Dorm for a night. He's now facing a trial on whether he will be kicked out of the Academy"

What followed is a full 4GP picture of Nelson's foolish face after he was blinded by the flash.

Nelson staggered after he saw how amazing the photographer is in taking silly pictures. He's sure that the photographer is doing this on purpose.

Nelson glared at the photographer following behind them. His face full of hate. He really couldn't expect that for all the pictures the photographer has taken he'll choose the worst one.

The photographer didn't let this chance slip by as he immediately took a photo of Nelson's angry face. Nelson hurriedly looked at his phone repeatedly refreshing the feed.

Sure enough after a few seconds a new article was released.

"The student who brought a girl into the Male's Dorm is such a brute. Look at his normal face"

And then a big 4GP picture of Nelson glaring in the photographer's direction.

Nelson was shocked at how ruthless this photographer is. He is taking dirt and turning it into shit. That photographer is obviously holding a grudge for being glared so ferociously.

Nelson ran toward the Student Trial Court, not wasting anymore time and letting these madmen take advantage of him.

The trio looked at Nelson's scared expression before following behind him closely. The media behind also followed in chase.

A live stream was suddenly played in Nelson's feed as he ran. He saw his back running in the live stream.

A glaring title in bold caught his attention.

"Playboy's challenger can't wait to be expelled from the academy as he ran towards his demise"

Nelson could feel his blood freezing. Just what horrible things have he done to receive such treatment. Nelson almost cried as he ran faster and faster.

Nelson and the trio finally reached the Student Trial Court. After confirming his identity, Nelson entered. His friends left outside to wait for good news.

The media also stopped and set up a camera focused on the Entrance of the Student Trial Court. The live stream full of people watching the show from their dorms, classrooms, and offices.

The reason why many are watching is because this is the first time a student will be expelled for bringing a girl inside the Male's Dorm. Sanjek Daran is the living example of this.

No matter the two times Sanjek Daran brought the girls into the Male's Dorm, he has never been expelled. The student being expelled today is even a talented robot engineer.

Nelson is famous for being a good learner and a talented robot engineer. He has an impression on almost all the Senior Students and some of the professors.

Today may be the day the academy will lose a talented student.

WAKE UP EARLIER / GO TO BED EARLIER

I love mornings. Wake up earlier and use that time to develop healthy habits and get a productive start on your day. Go to bed earlier to get plenty of rest so you can better enjoy your day.

LEARN SOMETHING NEW

A key pillar of personal development is opening yourself to new opportunities, experiences, and knowledge. Learn something new just for fun – go to a cooking class, learn how to sew, buy an online course about Pinterest. Whatever it is, learn something just for fun and for the experience, or learn something you really want to incorporate into your life or business.

INVEST IN YOUR PASSIONS

This is the year! Invest in your passions! No more "this is too expensive." Just compare it to what else you would do with that money, and shift your mindset to that this an investment for your happiness. If it really is too much, save up! So, start a blog, start a business, buy your art supplies. Whatever it is, make yourself happy and invest in your passions. It is not the worst use of your money.

COOK FOR YOURSELF / EAT REAL FOOD

I'm not gonna preach a perfectly healthy diet because everyone is different and everyone enjoys different foods. Make an effort to eat full, balanced meals though, whatever that means for you. It will do wonders.

CREATE A SELF CARE ROUTINE

Incorporate self care into your night or morning routine – journal, read a book, do some skincare, etc

Respect yourself and what you want, so say no more. Stop saying yes to sh*t you hate.
Be more spontaneous and enjoy life in as many ways as possible, so say yes more.

SAVE MORE MONEY

Put aside some money if you can and save for travel, experiences, and your passions!

REDUCE PHONE TIME

be mindful of the time you spend on your phone and on social media. Limit that time and focus on what is in front of you and develop strong, healthy habits. I wrote a post here about how to do a digital detox and being more mindful of your screen time.

START JOURNALING

Journaling is a great way to practice self care and discover yourself through your writing. Search Pinterest for meaningful prompts if you need some inspiration.

LOOK FOR THE GOOD AND PRACTICE GRATITUDE

Your life will completely change if you limit the complaining and instead notice all the good around you, and what you can be thankful for. I saw this example in another post and I love it:
instead of, "ugh it's monday."
try, "it's monday! I am happy and alive and ready for the week!"
Instead of complaining about your day, try and brainstorm good things that happened to you. It will brighten your mood and the world around you.

WORK ON YOUR GOALS DAILY

Don't forget about your goals, and try your best to actively work towards them daily. If you are genuinely making strides towards your goals you will feel amazing. I wrote a post here about how to actually achieve all of your goals.

PUT MORE POSITIVE VIBES INTO THE WORLD

Very similar to what I said about looking for the good, the more positive you are, the happier you will feel. Compliment others just for the heck of it. Help others. Complain less.

Touching the body here and there to inspect for any irregularities, he noticed a small journal hidden inside his cloth. 

As he already the possessor of this body, he brought out the journal and started to read it.

All of a sudden, a mechanical tone sounded in his head.

Ran is truly Amazed by the result of his Modification.

Ran inspected the journal through his eyes.

Ran heart is jumping in joy for his Godly ability. 

Eager to test his ability more, Ran noticed the sudden changes in his body. 

His feeling weaker and his eyes is half close.
 
"I should rest first before I continue..."

Then Ran close his eyes for a short nap.

Since he was fine from being alone inside the woods for this long, he's confident that this location is counted as a part of the save zone.

Which means it will be fine for him to take a short rest to rejuvenate himself before continuing.

After the initial explanation from Harold, we set up an impromptu lecture hall and called those who knew nothing about magic to learn from those who did. Those with more filled out knowledge of magic and its working sat in a circle and talked about which system it likely followed and if it was proven to not follow any system how to set up a new one. 

So it was like a scientist sharing circle while a couple of people that had learned to use the magic of the Void chimed in every so often and then in turn where bombarded by questions. I just stood slightly away from the circle and started a journal over all the different systems of magic and how they could interact and complement each other as they spoke. Dalia came over every so often after helping others with learning magic and said she liked my journal and that I should keep going. 

I don't know why but Dalia's praise made me happy, maybe its that aura of wisdom around her. Like a teacher praising a student. Anywho once the scientist's social circle was ended in favor of hands-on investigation I walked up to them one at a time to ask for revisions on my journal. They pointed out a few mistakes and oversights for example instead of classing the elements in one according to strength to class them based on how broad the elements reach is.

Erm, I can geek out later, I decided while we still have a manageable amount of people and the influx is low to start a registration desk. So that we can have identification, population, and other statistics that would need the mass of population for. Address obviously will wait for later once we have housing, streets and figure out how large this town will end up being. It's doubtful our group of people will grow over the rough estimate of town population due to the diversity, most would likely want a town or even a country to themselves. 

Quickly detailing the desk, stacks of paper and writing utensils in my mind I opened my eyes after the tugging in my chest went away and saw the desk awaiting. Sitting down on a soft chair someone made for the lecture hall I set up some materials for census like clipboards, the form itself, and pens. Also, quills in case they can't write with a pen. Wait, what do I do for the illiterate? 

 I waved over Harold and wrote down my worries. He nodded and called over someone he knew couldn't read or write when she was alive. "Hello Dear. Could you attempt to read this paper for me? We need to test something." Harold spoke very calmly not to alarm her. She looked skeptical but tried. Surprisingly she was able to read it and quickly answered some of the multiple-choice answers and said some answers she needed weren't on there. 

She was still hesitant to try writing but she told us her name was Jillian with no last name. Harold quickly wrote out her name and she quickly learned to write and finished filling out the form after making up a last name for herself. After remembering I didn't have a way to keep the forms organized I made a small filing cabinet and a small tablet. The tablet couldn't do much other than keep the forms organized and give a search function, but it worked.  Harold soon left after grabbing Dalia to help me and went to give a lesson on how to write. 

Dalia handled the forms that were quickly being filled out and filed them away into the cabinet after I entered the information into the tablet. Soon a long line formed and I grabbed a couple of younger-looking people to help Dalia with the forms and to help me enter information into the tablet. I also had to make 4 more chairs, 10 more clipboards, 6 more pens/quills and make some ropes to organize the line slightly.

 We went through the people quickly and soon only had a couple of people left in the line. I had entered the information of almost 60~ ish people and was exhausted. I waved over Dalia and quickly told her I was going to find somewhere to sleep.

"Ok, John and Nora should be making a good amount of tents somewhere near the lecture area. I'll wake you up once we get things a bit more organized. Also, you should do something that will keep people you don't know out of your tent. We don't want some weirdo waltzing in and kidnapping you." Dalia rubbed my head and looked around to see if she could spot the tents from here. I tapped her shoulder and raised the scribbled note to her face. 'How old do you think I am?' Dalia looked at me and patted my head again "17?18? A bit over marriageable age correct?" I gave her a look and wrote on my paper and shoved it in her face. 'I. Am. 25.' 

Dalia took her hand off my head and looked very awkward. "Oh. I am so sorry. You just look really young...." She trailed off and looked away. I noticed her ears were slightly red and realized this really embarrassed her. 'It's ok. This is not the first time it's happened and will definitely not be the last.' I tapped her shoulder and let her read my note and she smiled. "That makes me feel kinda better. But I still feel bad. Tell me if someone bullies you for looking young. I'll beat them into the ground." I felt a smile tug at my lips and smiled before waving and going to find the tents.

John and Nora did well on the tents, Nora despite being an underground dwelling race had camped in tents a good amount being an ambassador for her country when she was alive. She had quickly made a good amount of tents and taught John about them as well. Over half were already claimed and some people had already made changes to the outside and added small yards, pink flamingos, garden gnomes, fake crocodiles that look scarily real, you name it. I found a medium-sized tent that holds two people with cots maybe four max. I set up a cot along the side of the gray tent and made a couple of blankets. 2 thick blankets and a couple of thinner ones to help with overheating. 

I put one of the thick blankets on the other cot on the other side of the tent in case I got a roommate, I also placed half of the thinner ones on the other cot as well. Creating a pair of pillows and setting one on the other cot I made my cot and slipped in and fell asleep rather quickly.

Why do all those systems and gods threaten people with the Void when they want them to do something? I mean with the darkness and everything is nice and quiet why would you hate that?

I mean you would get a bit bored but our protagonist Aline has that covered. With her willpower to survive mentally through a mental asylum, you got to be a little...how to say? Mentally unstable? No that's rude. Different. That's the word. 

Follow Aline in her ascent to godhood, or as her soon to be people say, The Creator of the Void Kingdom.

Eggface shouted at Moroes from a distance before turning his head to shout at the Blacksmith Shop.
Moroes knew that Lord Sherlock was having a big event when he heard about the meeting. Since he started work a year ago, he had attended three meetings. After each meeting, there would be a new batch of warriors. 
The new warriors required training from Moroes, and he would be very busy.
Moroes was happy even though he was kept busy.
Though his salary wasn't high, Moroes was satisfied.
He walked to the entrance of the Dungeon Lord Main Hall, where many warriors had gathered. Each time there was a meeting, those warriors would gather there and say strange things. Moroes had been in the Dungeon for a long time, so he understood what the warriors were saying. For example, "NPC" referred to himself or Simba, and "Instance Dungeon" meant collaboration with Specter College.
He didn't know why the warriors wanted to use such strange terms.
The warriors could only watch outside since they didn't have permission to enter the Dungeon Lord Main Hall. When Moroes entered the Dungeon Lord Main Hall, he saw other employees like Simba, Mufasa, Evelynn, Brainiac, Beast, and Yoda.
Moroes didn't include the pets like the black kitten, parrot, and tortoise.
They were just animals.
Every employee was accounted for. Sherlock walked calmly into the Dungeon Lord Main Hall.
Moroes stood up and looked respectfully at Lord Sherlock. The other employees also showed respect like Moroes, especially the three pets, the black kitten, the parrot, and the tortoise. The tortoise was trembling with excitement, and his eyeballs were flowing with tears.
Moroes listened attentively to Lord Sherlock.
"Good morning, everyone. It's another fine day."
Sherlock cleared his throat before speaking to his employees. Everyone replied to Sherlock's greeting. Then Sherlock said, "We have developed the Dungeon for almost a year. I believe every one of you worked hard for the Dungeon. Whether you have been working here since the start of the Dungeon…"
Moroes braced his chest. He was the first employee to work in Eternal Kingdom.
"…or have just joined recently, Eternal Kingdom will have new developments and opportunities."
Sherlock paused for a while before saying, "We shall recruit more warriors. Three days from now, there will be more members joining our Dungeon. Everyone will be very busy, so please have a good rest because you won't have a chance to have a proper rest." 
Everyone started chatting among themselves. Moroes said worriedly to himself, "I'll have to work overtime. I don't know if there'll be overtime pay. There will be so many new members. It's worrying…"
Lord Sherlock was nonchalant about the chatting of his employees. He patted the table to silence them before saying, "I know everyone is tired. Don't worry, I have tried to lessen your load. I'll inform you about the new scope of your work that will start three days from now."
Sherlock was prepared. For this meeting, he prepared thick documents for each individual employee.
Moroes obtained his document and opened it excitedly. Then he examined it. It read:
"Teacher-Student System Facilitator
When there are more and more members in Eternal Kingdom, the group training becomes obsolete because the warriors have matured. They should be able to train themselves. It's time to release your actual potential. You won't need to teach the residents of Eternal Kingdom. Instead, you will help them find their teachers and undergo one-on-one mentorship…
Mentor consultation fee: 10 bronze coins
Administrative fee for abolishing the teacher-student relationship: 10 silver coins.
Teacher-student rewards:
Teacher reward: Warriors who become teachers can bring their students for Daily Missions. After completing the Daily Missions, Teacher-Student Points will be awarded. When a student's Weapon Level reaches Level 5, the student can choose to graduate, and the teacher will obtain a large amount of Teacher-Student Points. 
Student reward: After obtaining a teacher, the warrior's Weapon Level will increase. The student will also receive Reputation Points, money, and equipment after completing the Teacher-Student Daily Missions."
The Teacher-Student Points could also be used to exchange for items, important titles, and other effects. 
Moroes was taken aback. He asked Sherlock, "Lord Sherlock, I know it's not appropriate to interrupt the meeting. But what position is a Teacher-Student Facilitator? What is the job scope?"
Moroes was nervous. He wasn't going against Lord Sherlock. He was just unsure of his new job scope and was worried he might cause trouble in Eternal Kingdom. Then Lord Sherlock would have a bad impression of him.
Moroes thought Sherlock would praise him and explain the new job scope in detail, but Lord Sherlock waved his hand and said, "Don't be bothered by the job description. Just take a look at the code of professional conduct."
Moroes located the pages that indicated the code of professional conduct for the Teacher-Student Facilitator, which stated:
"Code of Professional Conduct of the Teacher-Student Facilitator
No. 1: Don't interact with the residents of Eternal Kingdom, especially concerning the content of staff meetings.
The prohibited topics are located on the final page of this manual. Please remember them by heart.
No. 2: Smile when the residents of Eternal Kingdom ask you questions because they will sacrifice their lives to protect the Underworld peace in future battles. Before they die, it's not too much to spare some smiles of love and concern for them.
No. 3: Don't discuss anything that is outside the job scope. If you do, the residents will chat with you incessantly. I don't think that you want to be woken up by them in the middle of the night. Please take note. Otherwise, you will bear the consequences.
No. 4: Some residents may display hostile behavior, but don't worry, they aren't able to harm you.
No. 5: If you have any problems, look for the counselor, Frangipani. When you know about his predicament, you will feel happier. 
No. 6: If you have other questions, please ask the secretary, Eggface, or Brainiac.
No. 7: Always be loyal to Lord Sherlock.
No. 8: Don't ask. Even if you ask, there is no answer."
The information was very much in line with Lord Sherlock's personal way of doing things.
Moroes looked at Simba at his side. Simba was also looking befuddled, unable to understand the content of his document. Most likely, his job scope was also changed. 
Most of the employees were befuddled, but one of them was happy. For example, Evelynn.
"Lord Sherlock, are you serious? Am I an employee of Eternal Kingdom?"
"Of course, it's true. The starting salary is low, the working hours are long, and the holidays are reduced. It'll be tiring. I hope that you can take it," Lord Sherlock said earnestly to Evelynn, who nodded her head and indicated that she would work very hard.
"Good. The meeting will end here. Have a good rest for the next two days. You'll work hard for our dream and future three days from now!" Lord Sherlock said excitedly.
Moroes looked at Lord Sherlock in awe. Only Lord Sherlock could make him feel excitement and vigor. He believed that his life would be bright and wonderful if he worked for Lord Sherlock.
"Why didn't Lord Sherlock let me be the chef? Didn't I do a good job?"
When the meeting ended, everyone left the Dungeon Lord Main Hall. Moroes walked with the Blackiron Dwarves on a road in Eternal Kingdom. Mufasa said sadly, "I don't think I can be a Chef Guide. The residents speak strangely, and I'm unable to chat with them for long. Why can't I prepare meals for them?"
Moroes was puzzled. He remembered that Mufasa was employed as a Carpenter, though he spent more time preparing meals.
Moroes didn't say much since Simba didn't complain.
Everyone was like Moroes. Their originally detailed work scope had become that of an abstract instructor. They were no longer teachers for the residents of Eternal Kingdom. Now, they were only required to guide the residents to their appropriate profession and let them learn the skills and knowledge from the more experienced residents.
Basically, they were like standing signposts.
Why did Sherlock not put a signpost instead? Moroes had this question, but he pushed it to the back of his mind. Lord Sherlock must have had his reasons.
Moroes had blind faith in Lord Sherlock.
Though Moroes was befuddled by his new job scope like the other employees, he didn't mind due to his strong trust in Lord Sherlock.
He returned to his residence and started thinking about visiting his wife tomorrow. Lord Sherlock had given them two days of leave because new members would be coming to Eternal Kingdom in three days. Lord Sherlock was a good boss!
Moroes hadn't returned home for a few months. He would bring his hard-earned money and the stories from Eternal Kingdom back to his wife. Eternal Kingdom was the most reputable Dungeon in the Underworld. It would be an honor to work in Eternal Kingdom.
He was considering whether he should deceive his wife and tell her that he was charging in the front during the battle with the Surface World.
While Moroes was thinking of how to curry favor with his wife, he heard knocks at the door.
"Moroes? I have a letter for you."
It was a respectful and dull voice. Moroes recognized that it was the voice of a resident of Eternal Kingdom. When they chatted with him, they would use the same robotic voice. They could have spoken more naturally. 
Moroes was curious why the resident of Eternal Kingdom was at his doorstep. When he opened the door, there would be residents wandering outside. They wanted to come in, but they couldn't. After tens of days, such behavior disappeared. It had been a long time since someone knocked on his door.
Moroes stood up and opened his door, finding a group of gamers standing there.
It was a Gnome who knocked on the door. He held a letter excitedly.
"A Gnome who said she was your wife wanted me to give you this letter."
Moroes was surprised, but he took the letter and tore open the envelope. He was puzzled about why the gamers were still standing at his door. It was then that his eyes caught a glimpse of the letter's content:
"Divorce Agreement."


Sherlock is a new generation Dungeon Lord whose ambition is to become the greatest Devil King and building up the greatest Dungeon in the Underworld.
He summons a group of other-worldly goblins who give themselves strange names, form cliques, engage in commerce, and even fight among themselves.

"I am not certain of what she saw, but I showed a fragment. I showed her the top student of the school: Eulalia Fortunatorum, the girl whom the young Forsaken has been with. The girl who disappeared many years ago, the one who is suspected to be the first victim."

"Why did you show her Eulalia?" The king asks. "Sheila."

"I believe she is her master." Sheila says in a voice filled with certainty. "The Council believes that Eulalia is dead, but no. I do not. Jonathan—that Forsaken, I believe that such treasure is far too important for him to lose."

"Eulalia Fortunatorum. A woman... I forgot how she even looked. But praises about her outstanding performance reached even the castle."

"Everyone knew Eulalia. At least the scholars, and the Council, who will always set her example as the first victim. To set a meaningless campaign of never-ending wordsays regarding the capture of that Warlock." Sheila says, as if to recollect bitter memories, her voice laced with annoyance.

The king sat motionless, like an unmoving paint: tethered and glued. His gaze wandered into nothing, mind lost in deep thought. "Nightmare," he exclaims softly, "the disease—or rather—the curse he inflicted, or no, the curse inflicted by the Ancient Warlock."

"The Nightmare of Zuerst." Sheila says; a mutter to only herself. "The Nightmare... a Heilen... I wonder,"

Faustina found herself trying to understand and study various contexts and concepts that have been nothing but foreign matters that perhaps out of her reach—things that she never thought she'd have to learn, or experience back when she was at Eula's care. She sat by the chair, her elbow prompting over the table as she studies. Pile of books were at the side, stacked up neatly by her schedule for the week. A thick book of theology, philosophy, and history were arranged next to each other, whilst books like biology, literature and of course—magic—was opened in front of her.

It was raining outside, and the night was at its peak. The soft sounds of raindrops trickling down the leaves and vines enveloping the castle walls outside her windows let out a murmuring rustle. The crickets whispered along with winds cooing her into comfort. 

She stopped studying for a while, and pulled her journal from the bottom of the books. She wrote in a beautiful, intricate way—like telling something tentatively over someone—similar to writing a very thoughtful letter; she wrote in cursive:

"Eula," She writes, a bit of a pain in her chest as she writes to her dead master.

"It has been a month ever since I started 'training' as I wish to call it. It composed of things such as Etiquette, Philosophy, Theology, and of course... Magic. Yes, I have been learning magic. All of these were taught in basics, mostly spent in lectures, of course. I also learnt a bit of Literature and Music, but learning has been a bit rushed. I need to study even in weekends, day to night to keep up.

"And will you be proud if I tell you that I actually enjoy it? Learning something new, and of course being aware that it is for the betterment of my future. The teachers that the king picked for me were really nice."

"The teacher for theology was Sheila. She was a good instructor; clear, precise, and very detailed when teaching. But somehow she was very cold. I remember a quote from Holy Bachmernof, "darkness grows strong when light rules." I can remember how I failed to interpret how it meant, and how she sighed in annoyance and exasperation. Her demeanor towards me did not improve over the course of weeks we have been together. I want to be friends with her, if that is possible."

"I have learnt so much from Mrs. Lovellia, my teacher for Etiquette, about socializing more with people, how I need to be good and prompt as a noble lady, well of course IF I was one. But even if I am not, I have taken her words at heart as well. She was a strict instructor, yet very fun and charming."


"That being said, my magic teacher was somebody different. A man named Orwell, a scholar at the Academy. He was also my instructor for History and Philosophy. These subjects were by far the most enjoyable ones. Mr. Orwell has been the one with the closest age to me, and so communicating with him was rather easier compared to talking to the priestess or anyone else. Peculiarly, he was not that inquisitive. Perhaps, he respected my personal space."

Faustina smiled as she closed the leather of her journal. She adjusted the dimly-lit lamp and then repositioning her book in front of her, she slowly turned it to the next page, revealing a certain picture embedded on the book.

The book was the property of Orwell, a book from the academy that he managed to sneak out. She scanned its contents.

Faustina read it carefully. It summed up into how it is a school for magicians from Zuerst and Zweite alike—and most importantly, how it shall give the highest form of education for the 'blessed' and 'chosen ones'. Faustina found herself engrossed in reading, not noticing the knock in her door.

The next page was a picture of a beautiful man, hair of silver and eyes... eyes a beautiful color of purple. The distinct color of the highest form of magic, as Orwell said. 

𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕾𝖈𝖍𝖔𝖔𝖑𝖒𝖆𝖘𝖙𝖊𝖗.

The schoolmaster. It was a picture dating back into year 409, where the academy was founded. It was the year 1000 now. The image was preserved through magic and replicated to many books. Faustina stared in sheer fascination, that she noticed little of the man behind her.

"Studying so late?" The king asks. 

"Noah?"

On a secluded mountain situated upon a kingdom known as Feuersturm, resides a seemingly trifling cabin with an unlikely duo as its inhabitant—a witch, and her apprentice who presumably comes from a clan sought after by slave traders. 

Faustina is a sixteen-year-old girl who fled the slave market with the help of a sickly witch named Eula, who later on trained her as an apprentice for the span of seven years. 

Plagued with a mysterious disease for several years, Eula died despite the efforts Faustina had exerted to cure her; in her last breath, she left an odd request behind. 

"Sustain the king's life. This is your duty. Do not adhere to the prophecy."

To which the odd plea shadowed a bizarre series of events, a consequential sentence; similar to that of a premonition. The same night the phrase was muttered, the chain of events followed:

A warlock's intrusion to their home, with a peculiar yearning to resurrect Eula from the dead...

and the king himself, asking for Faustina’s aid.

The silence demanded by the library was always somehow interrupted. Whether it was students turning pages of old, ancient books, small bouts of whispers, or even doors opening and closing, the silence was never still. However, it wasn't distracting either.
Faibel found himself mindlessly checking the "C" section at least a dozen times, never being able to find what he's looking for. 
He walked back to the entrance of the library, standing tall and impatiently as he waited for the librarian to come back from her office. After a few moments, a short, old lady appeared from a brown door behind the counter. She wore clothes that seemed way too large for her, blending in with every wrinkle on her face. 
Her smile seemed friendly, "What can I do for you dear?" she said in a quiet voice. 
"Would you happen to know about any books that contain information about curses?"
Her face went still, followed by a swallow of fear and a concerned look. "Dear, we don't teach things like that. Curses are forbidden at Princewood." She leaned in a little closer, "But if you truly are curious… The Grandmaster might be able to help."
"Hmm," Faibel adjusted his glasses, looking unamused but thankful. "Thank you." He walked off, unsure of what to do.

It was currently 10am on a Thursday morning; a sunny, but cold day. 10am was a pretty important time of the day. It was the time where most classes would begin, and the day truly started. It was a time where students would finally start to pay attention, and a time where the best breakfast essentials started to be served.
Elysia Gradheart stepped into her classroom, excited to see everyone on time. She dropped a small briefcase on her wooden desk, opening it to take out a few pieces of paper. She looked around the classroom, taking attendance like she usually would. 
Laena, Paris, Atlas, and Leo were all sitting together in the center of the room. All the desks were singled out, but they still managed to find seats open next to each other. Besides, the desks were attached to the chairs, leaving them little room for flexibility. 
Trey and a friend of his sat right behind Atlas, ready to disturb him as much as possible without getting caught. "Psss! Fartpiss!" Trey threw a crumpled piece of paper against Atlas's back.
Atlas turned around annoyingly, seeing Trey and his friend laughing to themselves. He picked up the piece of paper, straightening it out to see a horrible drawing of a person, However, above the drawing Trey wrote 'Osiris' in bold letters, sending a chill down Atlas's spine. 
"Afraid he might get ya!" Trey called out, only receiving an angered face in return.
"Mr. Bright?" Professor Gradheart repeated herself. 
"Yes? Oh, Here. Sorry Professor." Atlas was still annoyed.
Once attendance was finished, Professor Gradheart began today's lecture on common spells and calls to action when in need of health related emergencies. 
"Has anyone here ever performed a spell that healed or assisted another person when in need?" She asked politely, scanning the room for raised hands or nods she wasn't expecting. 
Laena didn't want to, but raised her hand alongside another boy in the class. The boy sat tall in the front row, had a head full of brown curly hair, and splattered with a dozen freckles on each cheek. He seemed confident, almost like he had no doubts he had the highest power level in the class. 
"Excellent!" Professor Gradheart said excitedly. She wasn't expecting anyone to truly reveal themselves. "And what spell might that be... " She paused for a moment while trying to decide on who to call on first. "Mr. Stranton?"
The boy rose from his seat like a councilman at a conference, "I performed the spell 'Physical Enhancement' during a Guild Battle earlier in the year." A confident smirk appeared on his face, "The spell granted my ally a boost in all physical parameters in performance for 30 minutes. A rough estimate of around 500 power level points." He sat back down.
Professor Gradheart seemed intrigued, especially since this was just a second year student. She was aware that kind of spell was quite common around the seniors, but still impressive nevertheless.
"And Ms. Emarin?" 
Laena rose from her seat nervously, gazing at the class waiting for her to speak. She knew she couldn't say when she used the spell, so she avoided that part of her answer. "I, uhm, used the spell 'Healing Light' on an injured friend." She looked at Paris, noticing a shy smile in response, giving her more confidence while standing.  
Professor Gradheart looked shocked, frozen as if she couldn't believe what she just heard. However, keeping her professionalism in place, she snapped out of it faster than anyone could even notice. 
"Healing Light, you say? I am truly surprised a second year student even knows of such a spell." She looked slightly confused for a moment. Healing Light was a spell some of the medical department staff couldn't even complete training for. It was a very simple healing spell, but took a lot of practice and dedication to learn. 
 Laena sat back down as she noticed the boy from before glance at her angrily. His confidence was fully replaced by a look of hatred and cruelty. It's small things like this that can show one's true personality, and the fake persona they display to others.
 Professor Gradheart didn't initially care too much about the students' acquisition of spells, but this time she was particularly curious. "Ms. Emarin, how did you come to learn such a spell? If you don't wish to tell-"
 "My father." Laena cut her off.
 The professor smiled, "Very well. This brings me to today's lecture." She got up from her desk, grabbed a small piece of white chalk, and prepared to give her lecture. 
 During the lecture, she explained how support magic can be just as useful as magic used for combat. Support magic falls into three categories: Restoration, Enhancement and Rejuvenation (RER).
 Restoration is used to physically heal wounds or restore partially lost bodily fluids or properties. Depending on how severe the wounds are, the spell that's cast will be more advanced and require a much greater magic depletion in the caster. For example, the spell Healing Light is a common spell used to fully restore small wounds or one large laceration to the skin. If the injured victim has multiple large wounds, the spell will only heal them partially. 
 Enhancement type magic is the most common type of support magic used in combat and everyday life. It focuses on improving physical or mental abilities for a certain duration of time on a given target or targets. Spells can vary in improvements in strength, defense, focus, alertness, memorization, magical capacity, and so on. Most Enhancement spells will raise the target power level by a given amount of points for their alerted time frame, making teamwork crucial in certain scenarios. The average amount of power level points a common spell raises varies between 250-500. More advanced and rare spells will impact it more, some by up to 5,000.
 Rejuvenation is almost never achieved by average magic users. It is by far the most advanced form of support magic and could take a lifetime to master. There are only a few spells known to ever be casted and most have resulted in death from the caster performing the spell. Rejuvenation spells have the ability of altering someone's age, bringing death back to life, and transferring souls into different bodies. Only one student has ever been recorded to successfully perform a Rejuvenation spell at Princewood; his name was Theodore Selvis, the current Grandmaster of the School.
 "Can anyone tell me the difference between a Unity Patch and a Clearing Remedy?" Professor Gradheart spoke as if not expecting an answer. 
 "Simple really." Bennet Stranton raised his voice as if trying to regain his spot as line leader in a preschool classroom. "A Unity Patch is the most effective way to heal wounds without the use of magic, crafted by mixing together a drop of fresh blood, clay, candle wax, Angelheir, and citrus clover. All swirled together over dark flames."
 "A Clearing Remedy acts the same way, healing internal damage through a liquified-"
 "Yes." Professor Gradheart stopped him before he got carried away. "Well Done, Mr. Stranton."
 The rest of the lecture involved the students attempting to create Unity Patches of their own, with only a few succeeding in the end.

 After class was over, Atlas, Leo and Faibel decided to head to the Plaza for a quick afternoon snack before their next class. Their options were not limited, but they settled on buttered brown bread, a glass of milk, and a small platter of cheese to share. 
 "You guys have any more classes for the day?" Leo asked as he placed a cube of cheese in his mouth, melting it with his breath. 
 "Just one for me. Got a class with Zelle." Atlas said. 
 "No. I have much more important matters to attend to." Faibel looked concerned, "I can't find any information on curses anywhere in the library. Seems like the Grandmaster is my only option."
 The table went silent for a moment, interrupted by Atlas shuffling through his small backpack in search for a journal.
It didn't take long for him to find it considering he looked through it everyday, handing it to Faibel politely, "There's some in here. I never truly understood any of it, but I think you might be able to. Calvin gave this to me a year ago. He called it an Index of some sorts of whatever."
Faibel grabbed it curiously, glancing at the first few pages as quickly as possible. "Atlas." His expression grew wide, almost as if he'd discovered treasured that's been buried for centuries. "This isn't just an index. This is an Alchemic Index!" For the first time during the day, he smiled. "There's only a few of these in the entire world Atlas! These have all the information anyone has ever gained on Magic, Curses, and.." He flipped to the last few pages, "Fusion!"
Atlas and Leo chuckled together, never seeing this side of Faibel during the day.
"Atlas, can I borrow this for a few days? I need to memorise every last detail of this."
"Sure, just bring it back by next week I guess."
Faibel held the journal tightly, took a piece of buttered bread with him, and ran off to his dorm as fast as he could.

For teen Atlas Bright, the art of magic is his entire world. Unfortunately, Atlas is facing several life challenges. He knows nothing about his absent father, has a mother who worries too much, and is shunned by his classmates when they discover he doesn’t have any magic.

As he approaches the end of high school, two options present themselves; an Alchemy school for the gifted, or a University for those who have no magical ability. While Atlas deliberates on what path his life will take, he is visited by an enigmatic stranger who convinces him to apply to Princewood Academy, the most illustrious and hardest Alchemy school to get accepted into. He decides to trust the mysterious stranger, but quickly realizes the path he chose isn’t as easy as it seems.

Huo Congjun quietly read through the resident doctors' biodata and thought about which one to allocate to Ling Ran.
First of all, the doctor had to be a sturdy person. Lu Wenbin could be considered a person who had resigned himself to adversity, but he was only able to persist for two months. It was not quite possible to find a resident doctor with even lower qualifications and an even more obedient personality.
It was also not possible to allocate more resident doctors to Ling Ran. There was a limited number of staff in the Emergency Department. Resident doctors who were slightly over twenty years old were allocated to the other chief physicians, there was not even enough resident doctors left for the associate chief physicians. The attending physicians could only fight for the resident doctors who happened to be free, as though they were fighting for the government's livestock. If Huo Congjun allocated two resident doctors to Ling Ran, it would mean that he allocated two large livestocks in a shared farm to one family. This was very unacceptable, but it was possible because Huo Congjun was highly influential, and because Ling Ran's performance was exceptional.
Apart from that, Huo Congjun also wanted to allocate a more intelligent resident doctor to Ling Ran.
For doctors, their time as resident doctors was the time they got to sharpen their skills the most. It was also the time where they developed their habits as doctors the most. If a resident doctor were to work under a doctor like Huo Congjun, they might become someone who was rash with their words, but would be a hard worker who did not take care of their health. If a resident doctor were to work under a doctor like Doctor Zhou, they might become someone who spoke and acted cautiously, and was able to live every day happily. Working under a doctor like Ling Ran was the most orthodox way of learning skills. Even if they did not master a skill, if they managed to gain 30% or 40% of Ling Ran's skills, their qualifications and merits in the end would allow them to become a chief physician. If they were people of ambition, their development would be very much worth looking forward to.
The most important component of the large Emergency Department Huo Congjun dreamed of were orthopedists. How could he continue with his plans for a large Emergency Department if he could not get a chunk of the Orthopedics Department's high income?
Huo Congjun chose a person, and then decided that he was not the right fit. He then chose another person, and decided that he was not right, too.
He was also a little worried that the residents doctor he chose in the end would get poached. He did not care if an ordinary resident doctor left his position. If he left, so be it. However, if a resident doctor only left his position after the hospital cultivated him for a period of time, it would be a huge loss.
When Huo Congjun thought of this, he decided that the person at hand was not suitable, either.
In the end, there was only one resumé left on his table: Yu Yuan.
She graduated from Tongji Medical College, and had a Master's degree. She had been a resident doctor for almost three years, and had worked with three treatment groups. Even though chance was a factor, it could not be denied that she was not favored by the group leaders of those treatment groups.
Huo Congjun remembered this woman, too. She was of short build and wore large, round glasses. She liked to stare at people with her round eyes...
As a high and mighty department director, Huo Congjun had few chances of meeting resident doctors, but he did spot something good in Yu Yuan's resumé. To obtain a chance for eight months of overseas in-service training, Yu Yuan signed a soul-selling contract with the hospital.
When Huo Congjun saw this, his worries were immediately gone. At most, he would just allocate another person to Ling Ran if she was not the right fit.
When Huo Congjun thought of this, he immediately asked someone to call Yu Yuan over. After he gave her some orders, he then personally escorted her to the operating theater...
Ling Ran had been staying in the operating theater lately to try out this new game of sleeping ten minutes for every four hours he worked. When Huo Congjun considered the fact that the young nurses often took the initiative to measure Ling Ran's blood pressure, heart rate, and other vitals, Huo Congjun just let Ling Ran do his thing.
Meanwhile, Yu Yuan followed Huo Congjun, feeling rather curious. She kept evaluating Ling Ran and his treatment group from behind her black-rimmed, plastic spectacles.
Yes, with one chief surgeon and two assistants, they could be considered a basic treatment group. They only stood out less because Ma Yanlin was a houseman. "Doctor Ling, nice to meet you. I'm Yu Yuan, I specialize in the field of colorectal surgeries, and am from Tongji Medical College."

"Colorectal?!"
Other than Ling Ran, all the other people in the operating theater looked at Yu Yuan in unison. Even Su Jiafu, who was sleeping, felt his buttocks clench. He opened his eyes abruptly and saw Huo Congjun...
Su Jiafu rubbed his eyes repeatedly, quietly lowered his head, and tightened the strings to his pants. He then checked the stool's buckle.
"How could your specialization… be colorectal surgeries?" Huo Congjun made a crude U-turn. He did not remember the word 'colorectal' in her resumé at all.
Yu Yuan smiled calmly and said, "When I was a Master's student, I specialized in emergency medicine. But I am more interested in the field of colorectal surgeries. Meanwhile, those that ranged from the sixth percentile to the twentieth percentile would be classified as Tier 2 journals.
A researcher or a clinician could claim to be an expert if their thesis was published in a Tier 2 journal. If one's thesis was published in a Tier 1 journal, others would call him an expert.
For example, Su Jiafu's greatest wish was to have his thesis published in a Chinese core journal. Most of these journals were not worthy of SCI, which meant that they could not even compare to Tier 4 journals, which were made up of journals in the last fiftieth percentile.
Most researchers did not even dare to dream to have their research papers published in a Tier 1 or even Tier 2 journal.
Huo Congjun remembered how Yu Yuan entered Yun Hua Hospital six or seven years ago. She had come armed with a Master's degree certificate and a thesis published in a Tier 1 journal. However, through the course of her three years of housemanship, Yu Yuan neither published another research paper nor showed her talent as a clinician. She was like a carp that sank to the bottom of a pond, at most making some splashes on the surface of the water. It was like she had become a nobody.
"It's also a very good beginning for you if you start participating in limb replantation surgeries. You can learn something new." Huo Congjun did not know what to say anymore. But one thing was clear: no matter how good a resident doctor was, they would have to perform their tasks in accordance to the department's arrangement unless… they were as good as Ling Ran.

"Yu Yuan, do learn well from Ling Ran. Observe more, ask less, and listen to orders." Huo Congjun's tone was slightly stern, mainly because Ling Ran had no title, and had to rely on Huo Congjun's authority to be able to control his assistants.
Yu Yuan hummed in acknowledgement and adjusted the position of her spectacles. If it were not for the fact that the pair of black plastic spectacles looked too cheap, that movement would have made her appear more attractive.
Even so, Lu Wenbin who had experienced a long draught of loneliness in the operating theater, could not help but strike up a conversation, "Doctor Yu, what did you get from your analysis in your Master's thesis?"
"What do you mean?"
"That thesis about the university's female students' colorectal diseases." 
"Oh." Yu Yuan nodded her head rhythmically and said, as if she was reciting from memory, "44% of the female students had colorectal diseases. Among them, 70% of them were inflicted by hemorrhoids, while basically half of them had anal fissure[2], anal cryptitis[3], and constipation. Further investigation showed that there were two cases of anal fistula[4] and one case of colon polyp[5]."
"You're talking about… female university students?" Lu Wenbin suddenly felt that he had asked the wrong question.
Meanwhile, out of curiosity, Ma Yanlin continued to stir the conversation towards the wrong direction. "Why?"
With both her hands placed flat by her sides, Yu Yuan spoke very logically while evaluating Ling Ran's movements, "In conclusion, one's habits of exercising, taking breakfast, drinking water, eating junk food, and defecating, has a greater effect on colorectal diseases.
