White was a little surprised but she responded "its fine " she smiled brightly "thank you for your help" She added as she left the library. She made her way to her dorm. She sigh seeing only Eve and Rose. "I'm tired, i'm going to sleep" she Say as she went to her bedroom, she put on her PJs and fell on her bed, burying her head in her pillows. "I'm going to read that Book Tomorrow" she Whispered to Herself.

A Man stood in front of a stone, with a White flower in his hand and tears in his eyes.

"I miss you, why'd you leave me?" he ask, muttering under his breath. He bend towards as he placed the white flower on the stone with words engraved. He wore a black suit, and his Brown hair was brush back with gel. He was alone. Well, everybody left, he just stayed there, remembering the happy Times with the person now sleeping under all this dirt and mud.

Rhode walked to the center of the room and extended his right hand.
"…!"
Dazzling magical radiance flickered from the back of his hand like a soothing stream flowing from along his arm to the ground. A summoning ritual formed by three rings unfolded and the ten Soul Cores gradually hovered in midair as though guided by invisible strings. Rhode stood in the middle while lines of system prompt revealed before his eyes.

He was relying on that connection to use Gu Ziling's name in organizing the class. Gu Ziling knew about what his nephew was doing, but it wasn't anything uncommon, and it had no effect on him to help give his nephew a leg up from time to time.
Gu Ming's didn't have any significant accomplishments, but he did know how to talk. He had a special knack for misleading people. Of course, it's not OK to recite back a book, though there was so much content to his bibliography that as long as he always added a little content it could be OK. He well understood what sort of goods the students attending this class were, and so he had quickly hit upon his strategy.
He lectured on the simple and the basic at great length – to a painstaking extreme – taking half the day lecturing on the most basic theory, and giving derivation after derivation. He covered those having a high degree of difficulty with a sentence.

Eastern Wei Academy's so-called advanced studies exam was specifically organized to target jointly conducted specialized training classes. Its purpose was to provide students who stood out from the crowd attending the training classes a chance to proceed to regular study. But, it had gradually become a mere formality those last few years, whether because of the way the classes were being conducted or because of the school. It was not working out at all. It was embarrassing that across thirty years of the advanced studies exam, only two students had ever been selected.
Gu Ming didn't take it seriously and was quite clear with himself about those students of his; there was likely not one among them who could make a complete card. And so, he didn't register the names on the cards, but directly took them cards and wrapped them up inside a paper bag. Oy, tough break, eh? Yeah, but he had to teach three classes! 
After finishing all his classes, Gu Ming ran over to his uncle's office in the Eastern Wei Academy and casually tossed the three paper bags on the desk, before going out to kick back and have a good time.
When Gu Ziling returned to his office to see these three paper bags, he couldn't help furrowing his brow. Gu Ziling was over a half-century old, and his chiseled face had already started to show quite a few wrinkles. Although he knew that it was all a matter for lip service, the formalities must still be gone through. But how would an august professor be left to do that sort of thing?
Gu Ziling pressed the activation button on his wrist apparatus. Compared to Chen Mu's, his device was much more refined and exquisite, only as big as the palm of his hand. It had lots of complex designs carved onto its simple silver background. The three bands were made from the naturally polished skin of the Hardy Domain's sawtooth alligator. There were four card slots on the apparatus. One could tell at a glance that it was worth a considerable amount. 
A translucent screen popped up in front of him activated by the communications card in his apparatus, on which appeared a long list of names. The communications card had been invented just thirty years before, but it was already widely used. There were different grades of communications cards, according to their range beyond line-of-sight. The highest-grade communications cards could accomplish communications across the entire Heavenly Federation without error, but for a price not affordable by ordinary people. For now, what the ordinary resident used was generally a one-star, covering their own city. Gu Ziling wanted a slightly higher grade three-star, to accomplish regional communication.
Gu Ziling lightly tapped one of the names on the screen with a finger wearing a sapphire ring.
After perhaps five seconds, the image of a handsome youth appeared on the screen. His somewhat delayed appearance showed a bit of impassivity, and his eyes were somewhat cool. 
"Are you looking for me for something, Professor?" Zuo Tingyi asked respectfully, though with an icy tone. 
Having known the student himself for a long time, Gu Ziling said, "Come to my office for a bit."
About ten minutes later, Zuo Tingyi arrived at the office. 
"Go through these things." Gu Ziling pointed at the three paper bags on the desk.
Zuo Tingyi grunted assent and began to sort the cards in the bags. It was evident that Zuo Tingyi didn't have the slightest bit of impatience, and Gu Ziling nodded his head in satisfaction. Zuo Tingyi was his favorite student. Not only was he talented and smart with excellent grades, but he was also respectful of his teacher, and did his work meticulously. Nearly all the instructors who had taught him were extremely fond of him, and he conducted himself quite well, sending significant gifts for every holiday. He was practically the perfect student in the eyes of all the teachers.
Zuo Tingyi arranged the cards one by one. These cards were mostly too awful to look at, with errors by the hundreds. Although there was no change in Zuo Tingyi's expression, internally he was rather grudging. For this kind of trifling matter to fall on his head could really put a fellow in a bad mood.

The Sons Of Skanderbeg is an epic-drama, espionage, suspense, and historically accounted for  where significant events, places and names in world history are involved. The story narrates and describes the stunning and horrendous war crimes committed during World War II. Although fiction, the story may be one aspect of war survival that involves the scenes of espionage and daring escapes portrayed by the main character of the story.  It tells about an organized  resistance movement  of German officers with Jewish roots from Albania  who are deployed to different Nazi-occupied  European countries  to assassinate key Nazi officers including Hitler  and  neutralize German military offensive in strategic areas of occupied  territories. The leading surviving characters  Jora, her husband and Qamil, an army make their daring escape from Czechoslovakia to Italy by train to reach Albania.   In the end, Jora’s husband in his struggle against the German Gestapo in the train is killed. Jora is left pregnant and is cradled by Qamil to the end. Exploring and struggling each intrepid circumstance around the enemy lines, the option is to escape or die upon fulfilling their mission after which they have to get to Albania to live a lesser Jewish persecution  and fight with the mother movement based on the land for an absolute freedom.

Huo Shaoheng's arms were as strong as iron as they tightly encircled Gu Nianzhi's waist. How could she forget again? She could only compete with Huo Shaoheng when it came to intelligence but not strength. If she fought him by force, even ten Gu Nianzhis wouldn't be Huo Shaoheng's opponent. Gu Nianzhi pursed her lips, no longer struggling. She merely pretended Huo Shaoheng was her chair and didn't appear like anything was amiss as she focused on watching Jin Wanyi and Gu Yanran not too far away.

Jin Wanyi finished speaking, crossing her arms and raising her chin slightly to look down at the court official. She appeared very imposing. However, the officials sent out by the Imperial Capital High Court this time truly used the most stringent procedures. They did everything by the book and were also very imposing. "Lawyer Jin, the trials concerning estate disputes are not considered as such." The leader of the officials spoke without mincing his words. "Ten years ago, the main property of the Johnson estate dispute in England was in the United States. However, the charge was made in British courts and also accepted. Eight years ago, the main property involved in the Hunras estate dispute in Argentina was mainly based in Australia, but it was also accepted by the Argentine courts. White it is true that most estate disputes are accepted by the local courts where the defendant and the property are located, that's not absolute. So regardless if we are referring to precedents or jurisprudence, it is completely reasonable and legal for Miss Gu Nianzhi to sue Miss Gu Yanran for embezzlement of the Gu estate in the Hua Xia Empire."
Jin Wanyi's face flushed a bit. She had just received Gu Yanran's appointment, so she hadn't had time to do her research yet and was naturally less prepared than the court officials. Also, the international precedents identified by the court staff were all listed in the bibliography of Gu Nianzhi's complaint. They had verified the precedents and entered them into the argument. "Right now, could you and Miss Gu Yanran please sign here, and then Miss Gu Yanran can also hand over her passport." The court official passed the subpoena over to them once again and also took out a receipt for Gu Yanran and Jin Wanyi to sign.
Jin Wanyi glanced at the subpoena and nodded. "Fine, this will do for now." She took out a pen and bent over to sign on the subpoena.
Gu Yanran grew frantic. "Lawyer Jin, how could you sign it?! I didn't even agree to it yet!"
Jin Wanyi's pen paused as she turned around to look at Gu Yanran. "You are the defendant, so your permission or objection is not required when you are being sued by others." The court officials couldn't help bursting out into laughter when they heard this. These words were extremely rude, so Jin Wanyi was basically stabbing a finger at Gu Yanran's nose and calling her legally incompetent.
However, Gu Yanran was very indignant. Back when she was in Barbados, whoever wanted to sue her would really have to consider their own status and power... But Gu Yanran was now in the Hua Xia Empire and under someone else's roof. She had no choice but to bow down. In that moment, Gu Yanran somewhat regretted giving up Barbados and coming to settle in the Hua Xia Empire. But there were many inconveniences in Barbados as well. As a woman holding such a large estate, there was indeed no way for her to stay there forever. Gu Yanran sighed but finally signed the subpoena. After signing it, she took out her Barbados passport from her bag to hand over to the court official. Gu Yanran's expression was unchanged, but she secretly gloated to herself. You think taking my passport will trip me up? I have plenty of passports...
But before she even finished gloating, the court official had already spoken again. "Also your American passport, French passport, British passport, and Brazilian passport. Please hand all of them over."

Was this the feeling of having her thoughts completely read by someone else? Gu Yanran shuddered and couldn't help looking around. It was like there was an eye quietly staring at her from a dark corner. Her entire body went cold, and her limbs stiffened. Her scalp grew numb as her heart pounded.
The court official knew the words written on the complaint were true as soon as they saw Gu Yanran's expression. They smiled at Gu Yanran and urged her once again. Jin Wanyi was also secretly surprised. She never thought that Gu Yanran would be a multi-national citizen. With so many passports, could she just randomly take one and slap someone in the face with it? Gu Yanran and the court officials had a standoff for a moment, but in the end she still unwillingly took out all the passports from her bag. The court officials sorted out all the passports, and after they confirmed everything was correct, they had Gu Yanran sign the receipt for handing over her passports. After the lawsuit concluded, she could use the receipt to obtain her passports back from the court. Gu Yanran had finished signing it, so the court officials finally left the apartment's underground parking lot to return to the courthouse.
Gu Yanran and Jin Wanyi didn't move. They stood beside Gu Yanran's luxury vehicle as they watched the court officials walk into the elevator. The elevator closed and went up, and Jin Wanyi sighed before turning to look at Gu Yanran. "Miss Gu, what on earth is going on? Why is Gu Nianzhi suddenly filing an estate dispute lawsuit against you?"
Gu Yanran finally regretted messing with Gu Nianzhi now. But Gu Yanran couldn't be blamed for this. How was she supposed to know that Gu Nianzhi would have such a lucky fate... Someone set up an intricate web of traps to take her life in Europe, yet she escaped from it alive and even looked completely unscathed... If Gu Yanran hadn't trusted that person's ability and thought that she would be able to kill Gu Nianzhi off, how could she have gotten in over her head with gloating and end up saying that Gu Nianzhi was adopted?

Huo Shaoheng also got out of the car and used the remote to lock the doors. He dragged Gu Nianzhi by the hand towards the elevator.
"Huo Shao, let's do this another day. I need to go back today and sort out my thoughts properly. I will be defending myself in this lawsuit and won't be using another lawyer," Gu Nianzhi said seriously as she stood in front of the elevator doors.

"Empathy in its simplest form is connecting with another being emotionally. To be empathetic is a bit more difficult than being sympathetic. There is a type of 'spiritual' power people claim to have that relates to empathy. They are called Empaths. Empaths, by the way, make great minor characters when you have another character who tries to keep everything hidden, especially from the readers."
Eranoth snorted as he thought about his one friend who isn't a webnovel writer who has shown empathic tendencies. "Actually most of my knowledge about empaths came from him." 
"An empath is someone who can feel what others feel. At the least, they can pick up on the emotions of others and experience them themselves. To the opposite extreme, they can feel the other person's pain, and non-emotional things they feel. Personally, my response is, IT'S MY PAIN DANG IT! LEAVE YOURSELF OUT OF IT!"
"There is lore somewhere out there that basically says the more you empathize with someone the more like them you become. Empathy shifting actually stems from this concept."
Eranoth sighed. "Trust me, this one surprisingly shows up in writing more often than you would think."
"Empathy shifting has many ways to apply it and it isn't very restrictive as empathy can be formed towards objects as well and living beings depending on your world lore. By developing a connection beyond that of a normal Empath; one can not only change their shape, they can change the type of presence they give off as well. There are some dragon legends regarding shapeshifting that fall under this category. Among the very rare non-arrogant dragons there is a species of dragon that will 'disguise' itself as other creatures and live among them. It developed that ability because it uses high amounts of empathy to become the same species. If I recall correctly, they were a species of green dragons. Most dragons however have too much pride to use this form of shapeshifting."
"Empathy shifting is rarely permanent unless desired however it often comes with side effects. Because you empathize to change, some of the things that were empathized will often secretly remain. For example if a human empathy shifted into a dog, after they end the transformation of 'being a dog' on more than just the physical level they may find themselves scratching behind their ears more often as habits are easily formed but hard to break. The longer you empathy shift the more like the creature you will remain when you end the shifting."
"There are a few things to remember with empathy shifting. 
1:The adaption period to learn how to act as the creature is almost non-existent as empathy grants you a piece of the creature's experience. 
2: Partial Empathy shifting is also valid. In fact, it is more common because it is a transition stage between Empath and Empathic Shapeshifter. Partial shifting has less side effects.
3: Side effect and backlash often occur. As I mentioned before habits are easily formed. Backlash of empathy shifting comes from Empathy's supposed opposite, Apathy. Feelings of Apathy (or not caring, which I am an expert of…) while under the effects of Empathy shifting can cause great harm to the user. Form lock mentioned in chapter 3, Amplified side effects, Mutations, Physical or mental harm, Form ejection or rejection, and other things can happen. 
4: It only works if your character can create that bond even if it is only one way.
5: Empathy shifting isn't always appreciated. Some people would find it rather disturbing. After all, it is the "I feel you." Form of shapeshifting. 
6: The methods of forming empathy can easily range from very basic to very adult content. Be wise when you choose your method of forming empathy. Don't let the forming of empathy ruin your story. 
Eranoth shook his head. "You can see why I have had no success with empathy shifting in real life with how apathetic I am… On a side note I finally am on the discord chat! And strangely for the last 20 minutes we have only had two people ghost on the chat. According to my sister it is usually much more rowdy. I am sure I will see what she means soon enough."

It is caused by excessive emotions, suffering, etc and fueled by a desire to drag others into the same suffering."

First: Necromancy, a subject to be addressed later, frequently uses this type of shapeshifting to create undead. You will find this form of power more frequently in books with necromancy. Just know that this type of shifting does not always have to be necromancy. I have seen a few cases where this is not necromancy but cursed transformations.
Second: This is typically a curse type of shapeshifting. So pay attention to what causes it to work and not work. If this type of shapeshifting is generated in too much power then the doom vibe increases exponentially. Usually the more beings involved the stronger it is the more area it affects and so on. If you want a single target curse, rely on less creatures but concentrate the emotions. If you want to go with a AOE more creatures less focus.
Third: This type of shapeshift is usually permanent until curse is broken or death (or in necromancy re-death). Also the new victim usually adds to the strength of the curse. This is usually a very dark and easily lorebreaking method of shapeshifting unless you add ways to counteract it. Most people go with the whole divine light or whatevers.
Fourth: This type of shapeshifting is usually not intentional and is usually more instinctual by nature. It is usually guided by 1 existence but created from the instinct of multiple others.
Fifth: Getting rid of the organizer doesn't always remove the effect. This depends on the nature of the relationship between the organizer and the creatures causing the problem. For example, if the relationship is that the organizer is maintaining the curse, transformation, or undeath then the effect will fade when it is gone. If the organizer is only guiding instead of maintaining the effect, curse, transformation, emotional poison of doom will remain until cleared by removing the source.
If you want an example to see how it works. I explain one example of this in chapter 31 of my book, Jericho the Bard. There are some details before and more details will come as the story progresses.
"Fihew, dark stuff… Just know that Necromancy will eventually have its own chapter, or more… Man, I really should stop writing, it is almost midnight where I am. Let's push through this chapter!"
"The last form of shapeshifting I mentioned in the title is Resonance shifting. It is very very similar to Empathy shifting. The difference is that you are resonating rather than experiencing. Instead of 'feeling like a dog to become a dog', you 'resonate with the existence of a dog to become a dog'.
"One example of Resonance shifting can be found in my book Jericho the Bard in chapters 20-23. While i don't explain it in detail in the book, and I am utilizing a variation of it, it is a decent way to see resonance shifting in action."
"Unlike empathy shifting the resonance doesn't have to be a positive thing. The shapeshifting doesn't have to come from within either. The person can for example have a hostile resonance with cats and end up shifting into a cat. The person can have resonance with a cat in some way, and a practitioner of magic or a deity can tap into that resonance to transform the other."
"This form of shapeshifting uses high mental/emotional/or physical resonance as a base. Basically it can be positive and work similarly to empathy shifting with a few less risks but much harder to control. Or it can be a very curse like shifting type where that resonance creates a punishment of sorts. There was a story a lot time ago, I don't remember what it was called but in that story the person killed an animal and then woke up the next day as that animal because of resonance shifting on a negative way. I think it was a form of divine punishment or something like that. Curse like resonance shifting is often permanent until conditions can be met. These conditions usually entail changing the resonance one felt for the creature they were cursed into."

Note: Due to the nature of the book, there is very little 'story' but I have tried to break it up a bit with story to make it less of a straight info dump.

Under the forced interrogation of his bros, Linley was very honest and revealed the entire story behind him and Alice. This story made those two playboys, Yale and Reynolds, sigh in amazement.

Ever since becoming boyfriend and girlfriend with Alice, although he was separated from her physically during the school term, they made an agreement to meet with each other at the end of every month.

In the blink of an eye, another month passed. December 28th, Linley was in an exceptionally good mood, because he was going to meet with Alice again in Fenlai City.

“Hey, Linley.”

“Yo, David [Da’wei].”

Walking along the road within the Ernst Institute, Linley greeted a number of familiar faces in a friendly fashion.

“Boss, you’re as happy as this, just because you sealed the deal with Alice?” On Linley’s shoulders, Bebe wrinkled his nose. Condescendingly, he said, “Look at that stupid grin. This entire month, you’ve been smiling like an idiot.”

In the past, although Linley wasn’t exactly cold and emotionless, he wasn’t particularly friendly either. But this month, Linley was in an extremely good mood, and so he was often laughing and smiling.

“You little punk, what do you know?” Linley glared at Bebe, before strolling casually into the library. After flipping through two books on wind-style magic, Linley entered a reading booth and began to read.

The reading room was extremely quiet, and in the entire reading room, there was perhaps just twenty or thirty people, spaced far apart from each other.

Linley selected a location off to the side and began to read. At the Ernst Institute library, Linley would read almost anything regarding history, magical beasts, politics, magic…but most of his time was still spent on wind magic.

After all, Linley primarily relied on earth-style and wind-style magic. His earth-style magic had a Saint-level Grand Magus for a personal trainer in the form of Doehring Cowart, but the same couldn’t be said for wind.

While reading, Linley continued to learn and improve, and he often nodded unconsciously.

In the reading room, two hours passed by very quickly. Linley closed the book in front of him. “Grandpa Doehring, it would be a very difficult task to understand all of the profundities of wind-style magic, much less devise a brand new spell of my own.”

When casting magical spells ,usually one would need to have the assistance of a magical incantation to stabilize and launch the spell. Generally, one would just recite the incantation as taught, without needing to understand it. But if one was able to understand the principles behind a spell or perhaps even refine the words to an incantation, or perhaps further refine the usage of spiritual essence, one could allow the efficacy and power of one’s mageforce to reach new heights.

“Naturally. Do you think spells are so easily created?” Doehring Cowart’s voice sounded in Linley’s mind.

“Forget about inventing them for now. I wish I could at least see or learn some spells of the seventh rank. Unfortunately, the Institute is too stingy. Spells of the seventh, eighth, and ninth ranks are restricted and not open for public viewing at all.” Linley was rather dissatisfied, but he also knew very well that behind the Ernst Institute was the Radiant Church. The Radiant Church was not willing to disseminate its most powerful spells to people from other countries.

Linley was fortunate. Thanks to Grandpa Doehring’s guidance, at least for earth-style magic, he had nothing to worry about.

Flipping through the other book on wind magic, Linley continued to read…

“To summarize, all styles of magic, including wind magic, share a commonality in that their spells are formed from mageforce. For example, our wind style’s ‘Wind Blades’, the higher level ‘Chain of Wind Blades’, or the even higher level ‘Wild Dance of Wind Blades’, all the way up to the ninth level spell, ‘Void Extermination Technique’, are all considered to be in one chain of spells. But of course, if the ‘Wind Blades’ spell was developed and advanced in a different direction, down that path, in the end, it will transform into the ‘Dimensional Edge’ spell, that fabled forbidden spell…”

Upon reading this portion which provided details on the ‘Wind Blades’ spell, Linley grew interested.

This book was written from a viewpoint at the highest levels of magic, that sought to classify it systemically. This book was extremely useful to someone who had a narrow grasp of the fundamentals, as it would help them gain a more complete, thorough, systemic grasp of magic.

“The Floating Technique is actually a very simple technique, but using it isn’t simple. That’s because this technique has a strong emphasis on one’s elemental affinity for wind essence. The higher the affinity, the easier one will find it to control wind mageforce and wind elemental essence. This will allow their Floating Technique to be much faster. But by comparison, the ‘Soaring Technique’ is a level higher than this technique. The Floating Technique only allows one to levitate up or down, while the Soaring Technique allows one to soar and fly in the air. Although it looks like it’s omnidirectional, in reality, the Soaring Technique just has a few extra components compared to the Floating Technique, allowing the user to also go forwards, backwards, left, and right. For example, if you want to fly down and right, all you have to do is to control yourself to go both down and right. Frankly speaking, from this line of training, and based on the incantation the Floating Technique uses, in principle it should be fairly easy to figure out what the incantation to the Soaring Technique is.”

Upon reading this, a light went on in Linley’s mind.

Right. The Soaring Technique, compared to the Floating Technique, really just added the additional directional components of left, right, forward, and backward. In essence, it was still controlling wind elemental essence around the body to propel one in the various directions.

“Right, it just adds the components of forwards, backwards, left and right. If this hypothesis is correct, shouldn’t be too hard to extrapolate the incantation for the Soaring Technique.” Linley immediately began to try and mentally work out what the incantation should be.

But of course, whether or not the extrapolated incantation would be correct was something which only experimentation could prove.

Previously, Linley had been under the impression that the Soaring Technique had to allow a person to fly in any which way, and thus the incantation would be quite complex.

But now, given that it just had four more directions compared to the Floating Technique, the level of difficulty for extrapolating the Soaring Technique was much lower.

Linley continued to read, excited.

“Of course, high level magical incantations that could be easily extrapolated are in the minority. For example, the a higher level variant of the Soaring Technique is the Airwings spell, which forces the surrounding air elemental essences to form giant, invisible wings around the caster. This is far more difficult, and its incantation is very different from that of the Soaring Technique. There’s simply no way to extrapolate it at all.”

Linley nodded as well.

The more he read, the more confident Linley was that the author of this book was an expert in researching magical spells, because the explanations this book gave were almost all rooted solidly in the fundaments of magical theory. It gave advice on how to truly understand the mechanisms behind controlling elemental essence and in understanding each magical incantation. But it didn’t say anything about how to improve the power of one’s spells.

Most people, upon seeing how deep and in depth this book went with regards to magical theory and usage of elemental essence, wouldn’t bother to read further.

But Linley understood that if he could understand the reasoning behind each spell, he would naturally also learn how to better control his magic. At that time, the power behind each of his spells would be greater.

“Linley.” Just as Linley was getting absorbed with this book, a clear voice sounded out by his side.

Lifting his head, Linley looked off to the side, where he saw a tall, slender, beautiful girl standing next to him. It was Linley’s good friend, Delia. But the expression on Delia’s face wasn’t too happy.

“Hey Delia, what’s up?” Linley laughed.

Delia bit her lower lips. She was silent for quite a while, before finally asking, “Linley, I hear…you have a girlfriend?” Delia’s eyes, beautiful and large, were firmly fixed upon Linley.
