She especially became scared when the teacher started to pay more attention to her. One day, when she runs from him, she falls into a world of adventure, risk, and abnormalities.

This journey involves my answering of 365 creative writing prompts in a desperate bid to overcome my laziness.

THE SITUATION RIGHT NOW: I've gotten over the majority of my laziness. I'm unlikely to update this much. It's pretty much complete. The novel I'm working on is Dark Seas Leading Demise

Inside the walls, it was complex and overlapping. Despite the chilly darkness, the initial section of the passage was relatively friendly as there were no side roads.
However, another kilometer down the road and the tunnel suddenly split into three branches. Strangely, there were no changes in the Spirit Qi concentration underground, except a slight difference on and below the surface.
Might as well close your eyes and bet on your luck then, Lu Shu thought. There was no obvious right or wrong answer now due to the lack of evidence and clues. With the confidence that he had always been lucky, Lu Shu went on, and, successfully, he got lost…
He drew a deep breath at a familiar fork in the road. What the heck…
How to decide which way he had tried and which he had not in a labyrinth? By markings?
Upon second thoughts, Lu Shu changed into a new set of clothes and removed his cap and mask. Then, he pocketed his Sun mirror, leaving a small volume of divine water for lighting purposes. This way, he would be less recognizable.
Lu Shu was certain that he was not the only person that lost his way in the maze. Thus, it was very likely for him to cross his way with those big organizations, who might be interested in testing his waters.
Although the individual Practitioners had no idea why Nogiwa Takenobu was scared of Lu Shu, the experts knew well that Nogiwa had no other choice given that pitiful conditions of his.
No matter how strong Lu Shu might seem, Li Yixiao would not have to run if he were a Class B too. Two Class B's could definitely defeat Nogiwa Takenobu given enough time. This was the key point from which rational deductions of the entire story could then be made.
But many had already put their guard up against Lu Shu. It was a widely acknowledged fact that overseas remains were tantamount to cold-blooded battlefields where no sympathy existed. The Heavenly Network certainly had their reasons for dispatching so little manpower there.
Nowadays, no one would dare to underestimate Nie Ting. Was he an irrational risk-taker? Definitely not.
Hence, many of them were already starting to devise counter-strategies against Lu Shu's unique techniques…
Those few who happened to bring shades had also handed them over to their leaders…
Truth be told, quite a number brought sunglasses, as the remains were located on a tourist island.
So why not take sunglasses from the individual Practitioners? There were so many of them, thought the big organizations.
As a result, all of their shades were surrendered… How sad! Not only were they forced to be their cannon fodder, they were robbed too!
Nonetheless, gradually, their grudges shifted from big organizations to Lu Shu, the starter of the trouble. As Lu Shu walked along the dimly lit tunnels, he suddenly received a large influx of distress points. It felt…
Others might deem it as a sign of an unforeseen disaster, but to Lu Shu, it was a heaven-sent fortune…
As he ventured further, he left markings on the walls with Corpsedog and Concealed Arrow, to prevent himself from walking the same path over and over again.
Of course, he had to do it in a creative manner. The long trekking was dull and boring, so why not make it more interesting for those people behind?
In the meantime, unaffiliated Practitioners were forced to split up and search for the relic. Half an hour later, those in the front suddenly shouted in surprise, "Look! There are words on the wall!"
Just imagine, you are walking through an empty, monotonous tunnel and suddenly, you notice a line of words on the wall. How would you feel?! Surprise, of course! Finally you've found some useful clues!
As the big organizations at the back sent their people over, a individual Practitioners crowded around a pro who was studying the words with a torchlight in his hand. It was a line of English carvings. "Our expedition discovered this place by chance. We were forced underground by gargoyles but lost our way in the tunnels. On the seventh day, our supplies ran out. We may all die here if we can't go out in time. However, the greatest danger here is not shortage of food and water. We have noticed that our men are disappearing without reason. I"
That made the individual Practitioners' flesh creep!
Why did the sentence end so abruptly? Did he disappear too?! When he was writing that?! All of them drew a startled breath.
It would not be that scary if you read it online. However, it was absolutely a horror story to see it on the wall there.
In their opinion, which expert would crack such a lame joke?!
They looked at one another in shock. Although they did not believe it completely, they were still seized by terror and a feeling of uncertainty…
The expert remained silent for a long moment. He was having a headache at what to do too.
A Class B expert slowly came over from the back of the team. "What happened?"
Then, he took a glimpse of the carvings, and replied calmly, "Go ahead to see whether there are more of this."
Admittedly, power brings along confidence. In this instance, the self-assured would still be able to remain cool-headed, instead of being buried in panic.
The expert immediately trotted forward at a quick step. Yet, he stopped within seconds!
"From Townsend House's distress, +666!"
Out of curiosity, other people moved closer for a good look. There was another line on the wall that read. "I have three points to say about this place…"
They were confused, which three?!
Then they got it, weren't there three bloody points behind?!
Verified, it must be left behind by an expert as a means to relieve them from their boredom. However, how bloody bored were you?! What were you getting out of this?
A few steps forward and there appeared a doraemon scrawled on the wall. "I am doraemon. I will give you a time machine if you let your head duang duang duang on the ground with sincerity."
"From Townsend House's distress, +666!"
"From…"
It was in English too. But since Lu Shu had yet to learn the word "kowtow" and clearly had no idea how to express it, he completed the sentence in his awkward Chinglish.
Yet, does it even make sense that there was a doraemon in the remains?! Besides, what was with your duang duang duang? Don't write it if you don't know the word, can't you?! All of them were dumbstruck by the absurdness.
Instantly, numerous distress points were registered in the background, taking Lu Shu by surprise!
In the meantime, Lu Shu had reached another parting of the road. As the influx of distress points went on, he murmured to himself, "What should I write this time?!"

Magical energy has come to this world; Lu Shu could only stare as one powerhouse after another appear.

Looking at his own peculiar ability, he exhaled a breath of cold air.

"This...is blank."

Antioch walked over.

"Yes. It's something I found in an ancient tomb, around Athens. I don't know why I kept it, I just felt like it was the right thing to do."

Confused, Edward repeatedly checked every side and held it at every angle for any writing or picture. How could something with so much magical power have nothing on it? He kept checking, but nothing appeared.

"I told you, it's blank. In fact, I'll throw it out now."

"No!" Edward shouted, "No, I'll keep it."

"Fine by me," Antioch replied, eyeing Edward suspiciously.

Afterwards, they left the tomb and headed back to the palace.

When they had returned, they saw a group of men waiting for them in the throne room. Upon seeing Antioch, they rushed towards him.

"Sir, it's about time we do something. We need to expand while Rome is weak so that they cannot just swallow us when they have recovered."

"I agree. At the moment, they're embroiled in a civil war between Octavius and Mark Antony. It's the best time to strike."

Raising his hand, Antioch signalled for everyone to be silent, and the noise gradually fell.

"We cannot attack them. If Antony wins, he will come for out heads next. Our best chance is to build up our defensive power, so that they cannot attack," Antioch explained.

Grumbling and mutters of disagreement spread across the room like wildfire, and the noise began to get louder again.

"Quiet! I have made my decision," Antioch bellowed.

Out of nowhere, Edward spoke up.

"I think we should attack."

Everybody turned to him.

"My liege, who is this man?"

"What right does he have to be in this court?"

"Some petty merchant attempting to play politics, I assume."

"Silence! Let my friend here speak."

Hearing Antioch call the man a friend, the nobles were forced to be quiet.

"Thank you. Now as you just heard, I believe we should attack. Firstly, this will weaken Mark Antony and it will be less likely for him to win the war. On top of that, Octavius, if he wins, will be grateful that we helped him and not bother us."

Of course, Edward was making random reasons to attack, since he couldn't just say that he knew Antony would win.

"What do you know of warfare?" one noble couldn't help but question.

"A fair amount."

Edward thought back to his battles with King Uther, and all of the strategies he had seen in History books. These nobles were just rookies in his eyes.

"Surely, Octavius will want the land we have taken back."

"Not if we help him defeat Antony. He will see it as compensation to allow us to keep the land. Of course, we don't want to take too much, or he will demand it back."

All of them turned to Antioch: at the end of the day, he made the final decision.

"Do you believe that we can win?" Antioch asked Edward.

"I know it."

Roman Turkey, City of Tarsus, January of 32 BC

"This battle is vital. We need to do is take the city before Antony's forces arrive. If we don't, we won't have any standing in this war."

After preparing for a couple of months, Commagene had finally declared war on Mark Antony's forces, and while he was busy defending against Octavius, they had marched into Tarsus.

"Prepare the siege weapons!" Antioch shouted.

Outside of Tarsus' stone walls were monstrously large, wooden structures. Intimidating ballistae and a huge trebuchet (which shouldn't have been brought to Europe yet) stood in front of the city. Facing the castle walls, was a looming siege tower, which was slowly being pushed towards them.

Edward clenched his sword. He had decided not to use magic this time around, so that he didn't change the magical world in the future too much. Instead, he currently carried the sword that got stronger with age after Antioch had given it to him. He had named it 'Wisdom' because he remembered a quote, "With age comes wisdom" and he didn't feel like being very creative.

He turned to see Antioch. Shouting bravely to his men, he seemed fearless, but Edward could see his trembling hands.

"Ready! Aim! Fire!"

That was when the battle begun.

Suddenly, flaming balls fired over the stone walls and into the city, indiscriminately destroying anything in its path. Arrows rained down from above onto the soldiers standing on the walls. As soon as the attack started, Commagene's men began pushing the siege towers towards the city as fast as they could.

In response, the soldiers in the city began firing arrows towards the towers and rapidly approaching army.

Edward watched as the arrows seemed to momentarily block all light, and then rained down destruction. Despite many putting their shields up, some arrows managed to pierce through the gaps in the formation and through human flesh.

Men dropped like flies and were trampled by the army that continued to push forwards, their corpses forgotten and made unrecognisable under the masses of boots.

"Push!" the army began chanting.

At first, the chant was weak, with only a few shouting it, but it got progressively louder and more and more joined in, until it became a rhythmic boom.

"Push!"

Finally, they got to the walls and began throwing up ladders and climbing the siege towers.

The defending army tried to push them down with swords and spears, but whilst many fell, crashing down onto the cracked ground below, the defenders were eventually overwhelmed. 

Edward clambered up a ladder with insane speed, and started cutting down any foe that came his way. 

His sword flowed through the air with such agility as he fought with grace; it looked almost as if he was dancing - that was if you could see it at the speeds it travelled at. Due to his strength being so high, every enemy that came his way, was sliced through like their flesh and bones were butter.

Antioch saw Edward's fighting and was blown away by how quick and efficient he was. In the end, Edward almost took out the whole wall himself.

Once the soldiers on the wall were defeated, the army marched through the city, any resistance instantly cut down by Edward.

The army reached the Forum (centre of local government) and charged in. Inside, the politicians cowered behind their guards, who pointed spears towards the army.

"Give it up. The city is ours. Surrender now and keep your life," Edward ordered emotionlessly.

"Guards! Attack them!"

The politicians screamed at their guards to attack so that they could make a getaway. However, the guards just dropped their weapons.

"What are you doing? Attack them!" one politician demanded.

Edward walked up to the politician, who had just shouted.

"We gave you a chance, but you would rather sacrifice your own men to save your life."

Edward whistled and a group of guards came over.

"Take them away, and place their heads on the city walls."

"Please, no! Have mercy!" they began to beg as they were dragged away.

Then, Edward turned to the army.

"Victory!" he shouted.

The men all cheered.

Edward lived a very boring life. But when he died, he was given a second chance at life by a benevolent God: this time with a ridiculously overpowered system and the ability to travel to different franchises.

"More than that, we should look into her background. In the initial research we did about her, we thought she had no lover, but it turned out she had one. There must be more we missed then."
Carl narrowed his eyes, and he didn't have to ask to know Edgar was afraid of asking her.
"Thinking about it, a letter from her cousin at the Academy should arrive soon."
"Yes, it will arrive any time now if she used an ordinary posting service."
Only wealthy nobles could afford to exchange quick letters using messenger birds. Plus, Aron's Academy was just too far from Seritos. Angela couldn't have had the time to send a letter during the journey and, even if she had sent one as soon as she arrived at the Academy, it would arrive a day or two later.
"Bring it to me first before she reads it. I want to know if there's any information on it."
"Okay. I will also find out about her belongings, just in case."
However, Edgar was hesitant.
"Is that necessary? She brought almost nothing, except for what she was wearing."
"Your Grace, in my opinion, intercepting her letter is even worse."
He was right, so Edgar couldn't say anything to that. Actually, everything he was trying to do now wasn't right, and Rubica would most certainly be mad if she ever found out.
'But I cannot ask her right away.'
He didn't know exactly what he was afraid of. Whatever the outcome will be, their relationship which he had managed to keep only barely till now was going to be no more. If it would change for the better, he would not hope for anything more, but if it was going to become worse, he just didn't want to find out.
'I need a safety net.'
He wanted to find a clue that would at least let him guess what Rubica would say when he asks her. He wanted to brace himself and carry it out after calculating how Rubica would take it.
"Just carefully ask the maids so that Rubica wouldn't get to know. Don't make it too big."
"Okay then, I'll ask them if something has happened to her. The smaller the risk, the better."
It was like Carl could read Edgar's mind. The risk he was talking about was probably not about Rubica's heart but Claymore. However, Edgar was just glad to take a step back from that subject.
'Don't be nervous. I still have enough time.'
He decided to look into the matter in time and changed the topic.
"And what about Lord Sesar?"
"The searching party found his camp in the mountains. There were some of his belongings, so they will probably find him today."
"Good, bring him to me as soon as he is found."
After that, Carl left while Edgar sighed. Then, the duke opened a drawer to take out a blueprint. It was time to work on the development of the weapon which he spoke about with the king for a long time.
The king wanted to take the Golden Land from the dragon Ios to solve the kingdom's problem. That was why he had agreed to send the new weapons from Claymore to the southern kingdom. He wanted to dispatch an army for that and steal strategies to fight the monsters and dragons' underlings.
'And research on the plants that only grow in the dragons' territories has to be done as well.'
Maybe Lord Sesar's wish was about to be granted. He could be permitted to write a book on the plants in the dragons' territories. Edgar smiled at the possibility.
Carl was worried something bad might happen if he didn't answer to the king's summon, but actually, he was the one with the power.
The king had proposed attacking Ios from the sky as it was a land dragon that couldn't fly. Edgar called the king a sly old man when he got mad, and the king called Edgar a serpent without any feelings when he got bored, but basically, they did acknowledge each other's capability.
-You want me to make a weapon that can attack the dragon from the sky? Do you want me to die from overwork?
-Hahaha, well, even you are not that smart, right?
The king said slyly.
'That fox.'
Edgar had to try hard to not yell at him. The king was doing it only because he knew Edgar would not refuse, and he was right. Edgar could never say 'I can't.'
'Focus. I must finish it quickly.'
Edgar started to study the blueprint. Making a machine fly was an extremely hard try. A few scientists at the Academy had tried it before, but they all failed. Still, there was no other way to defeat Ios.
-Making the impossible possible. That is the power of Claymore.
Edgar remembered what all of his teachers had told him.
Yes, if birds could fly, why not humans? First, he checked if there were any helpful references among the previous works of the Academy's scientists. Then, he started to draw the blueprint first.
He was going to work on an engine that could fly and test it first.
'I should keep it a secret before I finish it all.'
He decided to name the weapon 'Stella'. He wanted it to be the guiding star in the dark future of the kingdom. However, it was way too dangerous. He was planning to destroy it after driving the dragon out of the Golden Land.
What if it fell into the hands of conquerors?
He didn't want to even think about it. It was good that the king of Seritos only cared about his people's living.
If he could, he was going to make the weapon, get the land, and destroy the weapon and its blueprint while he was still alive. And for that, he had to make it as soon as possible.
However, what was going on? His hand was moving fast, but what he was writing had nothing to do with his work.
-Something needed for work, not necessary but good.
He kept writing it. Rubica had said she had ultimately fallen for Arman after he invented something that wasn't necessary but really made her work easier. He wondered what it was.
-It helped a lot of people.
Now Edgar even drew a circle around it and added a star. He had to focus on the blueprint, but he couldn't help being distracted.
'But what is it?'
To find that out, he had to know what Rubica usually did and what she found difficult. However, she hadn't had any reason to do anything difficult ever since she came to the Claymore Mansion. It was hard to guess without any information.
"Hu."
Edgar sighed and looked at the handkerchief on his table. Imagining Rubica embroidering it herself made him smile. He couldn't even dare to use it and just kept staring at it. She had embroidered the Claymore symbol on every corner, so she must have put a lot of effort into it.
'Wait.'
This is the difficult work I've been looking for!
He immediately wrote a list of things needed for embroidering. Needle, thread, scissors, fabric, frame, etc. Then, he wrote what made embroidering difficult.
-Something that wasn't necessary but made my work easier.
Edgar was going to find what it was and invent it. He then pushed Stella's blueprint aside. Of course, the kingdom's future was important, and the weapon had to be invented.
'But I must survive first!'
What he was trying to invent now was about being creative. It wasn't going to take much time. On the other hand, the development of Stella was going to take at least three, four years. Then, a delay of three, four days wasn't going to be a problem.
He hadn't been able to focus and that wasn't just going to change now, so he decided to work on inventing what was more urgent to him.
Just like that, Edgar postponed what he was supposed to do today to tomorrow for the first time.
-Something that isn't necessary but makes work easier.
His long journey to find it had just begun.

Elise had gotten used to working as a lady-in-waiting, and now Ann could trust her with simple things.
'Will this amount of soap, perfume, and cosmetics be enough for Her Grace?'
She couldn't read the overall flow of the household yet, but she had been assigned to the purchase of simple goods. She checked on the list of things she was supposed to buy from the merchant, who would come in two days, again and again lest she made a mistake.
Moreover, Rubica was working on her plan for the tea meeting that was going to take place in a month.
"Hmm, I think there should be a lot of sweet dessert at the tea meeting."
Rubica wasn't talking to anyone in particular, but Elise replied without noticing it.
"Dessert? Would it be necessary? Tea is so refreshing. I think serving only tea would be enough."
"Ha, ha, ha."
Rubica smiled awkwardly. To Elise, tea was a sweet-smelling drink, but to the others, drinking that bitter drink without a sweet cake was going to be torture.
"Carl said it is not strange to serve dessert at tea meetings."
What Carl had meant was one candy and one cookie per person, but Rubica decided to ignore that.
She thought she had to give out at least a whole cake per person as compensation for drinking that weird drink.

Our places on this earth are divided by oceans setting us apart from one continent to another. Several countries speaking several languages to understand each other. People with several cultures and beliefs. Different personalities and opinions.

In this chaotic world, we live in called real life we search for a place to escape from that reality. To be accepted as who or what we are. We have found that in the music we sing. In the books, we read. In the movies we watch. In the places, we travel and visit. Everywhere in which we get inspiration to face reality head-on.

We write stories or poems to inspire others, reading the words we weave from our own world. For some of us, it is simply an escape from reality into a world in which we can use our imaginations to dream make-believe or to live our secret fantasies or just plain be creative.

Getting on the web gives us more ways to share and get connected to other people with the same kind of thinking from across the ocean. Some of the people we meet along the way give us reasons to smile again. It's where we become friends, get to know them well, and get so close that we even trust them enough to share our own greatest fears.

I was a living a kind of living death when I found solace here on Stories Space. A place to write, camouflaging my hatred and sadness from myself when I was reading all the poetry and fictional fantasies created by the writers. I found another escape from reality and indulged in reading.

My feelings from my own troubles in life had made me feel so empty that only through laughter and reading could I be free and somewhat whole again.

I made my own heaven in purgatory.

A friend told me to write down all of my pains and troubles in poems or stories. Another friend of mine told me to be fierce in my poetry writing. I found friends who helped me give my own life a reason to continue living again through writing.

Writing makes me calm every time my mind gets into a panic mode. The pains and the fears of the unknown are my muses for writing.

When I met someone who understood me and made me feel needed and loved my poetry changed its tune. It made me think of happy thoughts. I got inspired by the things I saw and the happy memories of my childhood that I could write about.

Painful memories and realities were always there and so I wrote about them from time to time.

When that someone left me I continued writing. The same inner muse I had gained I used to keep on writing.

Then, out of nowhere, I got to know you. I became happy again. This time I got even more inspired and more creative, experimenting with my writings.

I set aside my shyness and reservations to write creatively. I still can't overcome some of my shyness and reservation but I am blooming, inspired by you.

You became my muse.

The man in the moon. The stars in my darkest hours. When at night I can't sleep thinking of you calms me to sleep.

The sunshine after the heavy storm. Where all the dead trees come to life again. That keeps me warm when everything gets chilly.

My own little heaven in my real life purgatory.

Voidne is the unluckiest person in the world.  Just like his mother, he needs to work 5 times harder than normal people, just to achieve the same thing.

But one day the unlucky Voidne crossed through a wormhole by a mistake, that sent him into a parallel universe to occupy the body of the Voidne from that universe.

The new parallel universe was more advanced, and a new game was about to get released.  It was a VRMMORPG, that is going to be super popular.  Even companies were going to fight over occupying this game.

I am a 13 year old who loves reading .I thought that I cold give a try in writing and here I am .Never expected anyone to read my book and Thank you to all who read it.I live in India so we have English as our first language so there won't be many grammatical mistakes.We have compulsory creative writing in English so all of us are used to writing lame stories.I know currently nothing much is happening in the story but I can assure that by the weekend the story will get interesting.

what if, your marriage was not your own choice

2 PM…
Nuwa was holding a glass of water in her hand, with a frustrated look on her face, as she grumbled "I've been trying to wake this brat for a whole hour now… That's it, my patience has finally ran out… there's only two hours left for his first appointment with Eina, and this little brat is sleeping like a pig!" 

Opening the door of Argus's room on the second floor, she walked in and splashed the water on his sleeping face, as she shouted "Wake Up, Argus! … Do you have no shame?" 

Waking up with a jolt, Argus saw the fuming face of Nuwa, and sat up straight in an instant, as he asked innocently about the 'injustice' he has suffered, " G-goddess?... why did you do that?!?" 

Nuwa rolled her eyes in frustration, after hearing his innocent question. Taking a deep breath, she commanded "I want to see you freshened up and sitting on the dining table in 20 minutes. Is that clear, young man?"

"Y-yes, mam!" Argus instantly gave her a military salute, with a serious expression on his face. 

Looking at his still sleepy face, messed up grey hair and clothes, as he saluted with a pranked but serious look in his eyes, Nuwa's expression couldn't help but soften a bit, as she thought [aww… isn't this kid just adorable…] but, still spoke in a strict voice "Then your time starts now… get to it."

Getting out of the bed in a frenzy, Argus ran downstairs…

Argus was sitting on the dining table with a cup of strong coffee in his hands, as he asked the goddess sitting in front of him, "Where's Lili?"

"Unlike you, she is a hard working girl… she had left hours ago for the dungeon, along with her party. You'll find her at the Guild." Nuwa replied, after taking a sip from her cup.

With an embarrassed smile on his face, Argus explained, "I was tired from all the training… and I'll be hitting the dungeon today, after I'm done with Miss Eina's lecture…"

"The knowledge Eina will drill into you, will keep you alive in the dungeon, Argus… don't try to villainize her in your mind… people like her, who actually cares, are rare. You won't find another advisor like her in the whole Guild." Nuwa said, with a serious look in her eyes. She knew how lucky she was to run into someone like Eina, the other day.

Argus, himself understood that, having Eina as his advisor was no different than having another blessing. After finishing up his coffee, Argus stood up and said "Okay, Goddess… I'll be leaving now, take care…"

"Wait a few minutes. Since, you said you're going into the dungeon afterwards, I'll pack you something to eat…" Nuwa replied. Seeing Argus nod, she stood up and walked into the kitchen.

It took little more than an hour to reach the Guild's office by Blinking and using Mana Burst. Walking inside, Argus instantly spotted Lili in the waiting area, along with Eina and a white haired dude, grabbed in black. Argus, recognized the guy in an instant, he was Bell Cranel. Walking towards them, Argus decided to greet Eina first "Good afternoon, Miss Eina. I'm sorry, if I'm late…" 

"There you are… We were just waiting for you to show up… Although, you are 15 minutes late, I'll let it slide for today, but try to be punctual next time." Eina stood up and greeted back. In place of her usual gentle demeanor, she had the look of a strict teacher on her face, as she crossed her arms in front of her chest.

"I will, I promise…" Argus replied with an apologetic smile. Right after that, Bell stood up and said with sparkling eyes, "Hello, Master Argus. I'm Bell Cranel, from Hestia Familia and leader of the party Lili's in…  Lili had told us a lot about you. Like how amazing your skills are... and your ability to strategize, almost any battle." As he moved his hand forward for a handshake.

Shaking hands with him, Argus replied with a bright smile of his own "Hey there, Bell. Just Argus will be enough… and thank you, for letting Lili join your party. I left her on her own, in order train so, I really appreciate your help. And I am not that amazing, I'm only a level 1 rookie. All I have are a few fancy tricks, you're probably a lot stronger than me…"

Bell had an embarrassed smile on his face, as Lili looked towards Argus and spoke "Yes that is true… Bell has just leveled up. He's a level 2 now, but, if you two are to fight… I'll still bet my money on you, Master Argus." Lili's statement, surprised Eina a bit, but she thought it was just her trust in the captain of her own Familia.

It was Argus's turn to squeeze out an embarrassed look. Seeing two grown boys, smiling bashfully like pure maidens, Eina decided that, she had enough. "Okay then… since, we are already late for our session, let's get started. Bell, if you'd please excuse us."

"Oh! Yes… Miss Eina, I'll take my leave now… I just wanted to meet Master Argus." Replied Bell as he started jogging towards the exit.

"Just drop the Master…" Argus couldn't help but remind him. Looking towards Lili, Argus spoke "You too, Lili… just Argus is enough."

"Disagreed!" came Lili's retort just a second later. Lili had a really resolute look, as she said that.

Eina, Lili, and Argus were sitting in the counseling room, assigned to Eina. Seeing the two in front of her are ready, Eina spoke "Alright so, there are a 2 things, I'll need to know about you two. One is your parameters but, you can also tell me about you skills or magic, if you feel like it… Don't worry, I can make a vow, that I will not disclose any information about you, if you do tell me about it.
Second is that, I'll need to know about your fighting style and experience in dealing with monsters."

Lili was the first one to go, "I have been a supporter for a while now so, I know a lot about the dungeon and how to deal with monsters in it. I have been to 15th floor once, and I know about the must-have items required to hunt in middle floors. And here's my parameters…" said Lili, as she started writing her parameters on a piece of paper.

Eina's emerald eyes had a surprised look in them, as she gave her first advice, "You seem to have a lot of experience, Lili. But your parameters could use a boost, if you want to dive in the middle floors, even as a supporter… People think that a supporter's role is to just carry things around, but that's not true. A good supporter is someone, who not only carries a lot of weight but, also provides cover fire efficiently and effectively, not only that but, a supporter must also be armed with every tool and item that may, or may not be needed inside the dungeon, and must have mastery in at least one ranged weapon. A single mistake from the supporter's part could result in someone's death. So, you must focus on your parameters too, Lili.
 I see a cross bow hanging on your bag. I'd suggest using a classic bow and arrow. This will help you in, increasing your strength, dexterity, and will also have a small effect in your endurance."

Done saying that, Eina took out some papers, and said "Here… there are some situations written in these. The situations are what you may come across inside the dungeon, from a supporter's prospective. I want you to solve them, and then show me your answers, by the time I finish speaking with Argus." 

Lili had a 'save me' look on her little face, when she saw the thick stack of papers, Eina handed her, and quietly went to work.

Eina turned towards Argus with a curious look in her eyes, and said, "It's your turn, Argus… Although, Lady Nuwa has told me about your situation, but I'd like to hear it from you."

Clearing his throat a little, Argus replied "Yeah… so, I've only been down to 2nd floor and, I don't have much experience in fighting… it has just been more than a week since, I started. My skill set heavily relies on stealth and the element of surprise. I use a short sword with my right hand and a Gladius with my left. In an open battle… let's just say my battle powers suffers a massive decrease, because I'm inexperienced. I also heavily rely on magic to fight, and my battle powers will decrease drastically if, I'm out of mana.
Here are my latest parameters…"

Eina was stunned for a good while, after she saw his parameters. Argus was just a newbie adventurer and had his MAGIC at, what was technically, beyond SSS. Taking a deep breath to calm her raging emotions, she said "Wow… you weren't joking when you said, you heavily rely on your magic, Argus.
You said, you're skill set relies on stealth… but, you also rely magic all the same. You're the first of your kind that I came across. But you have an obvious weakness, and that is your inexperience in open fights. This is the last kind of shortcoming, you should have in the dungeon, because you will engage in open battles inside the dungeon. There is no way around it. So, the best way to solve this issue is to find someone willing to train you.

There are two ways in which you can solve this… First is to find a friend, who's willing to have regular spars with you. Second is that, if you have enough Valis, you can post a quest in the Guild.

There's also your MAGIC status… its insane, to be honest. From the description of your fighting style, I'd say you're a Magic-Assassin…? That may, make you a formidable adventurer outside the dungeon, but your options will be limited inside of it. So, you must learn how fight head-on and, the best way to do this, is by learning from someone." 

Then once again taking out a stack of papers, she passed them to Argus, and said, "There you go, you can take you time to solve them, but do so before going home…"

Then turning towards the, fiercely writing Lili, Eina spoke, "Time's up, Lili… so, How many did you manage to solve…"

"Fi-five! I solved five!" the little one exclaimed in a fluster. Seeing her like that, Eina couldn't help but giggle, as she said in a soothing tone "Don't worry, Lili. I just wanted to see how many, will you be able to solve… and five is a really good number."

Then she started reading her solutions, the more she read, the more surprised she became, and soon that surprise turned into shock. Lili's answers were not only accurate, but also creative and innovative. Some of her strategies were close to the level of the first class adventurers.

Eina had been shocked so much by Argus, that she had developed an 'abnormal resistance' to it. Once, she finished reading those papers, she spoke to the nervous looking Lili, "Your answers were amazing Lili! Bell once told me that, you're the brains of his party but, seeing is believing, I guess… I'm looking forward to see the rest of your solutions."

Half an hour later, Argus spoke with a grin, "Done! And yes… all of them"

"Say what?" Poor Eina was once again shocked. Skeptically, she took his papers and started going through his answers. 

As Argus was solving those situations, he figured out that, he really did had a mind of a great strategist. Despite of his ignorance about most of the monsters, it didn't even took him a minute to think of a doable strategy to defeat them.

Done with reading his answers, Eina exclaimed "You're really good at this, Argus. You strategized 10 situations in 30 minutes, and all of them were doable and stealth based. In my opinion, you and Lili, will make a really strong team. You have a talent for strategizing battles and Lili can strategize everything else… Now I know, about your strengths and weaknesses so, let's end our session here, and do this properly from next time."

"Um…I'd like to talk with, Miss Eina, about something. So, I'll see you at home, Master Argus" Spoke Lili, Looking a little hesitant.

Argus had known Lili for long enough, to figure out that something was off. Looking towards Eina, he saw her nodding at him. Deciding against prying, he said "Okay Lili… See you at home."

Once, Argus was gone, it was just Lili and Eina sitting inside the room. Lili was looking down, thinking how to start the conversation. Seeing her like that, Eina, gently spoke "I understand what you're thinking, Lili."

"Then please, Miss Eina. Tell me what I should do… I can't think of anything. I try, as hard as I can, but…" Lili's eyes started reddening, as she was saying that. She looked really fragile, but those tear stained eyes of hers, held the resolution to do whatever it takes.

With a really soft and gentle look in her eyes, Eina got up from her seat and hugged the trembling little girl. After a few seconds later, she said in a soothing tone "Then let's brainstorm this… I'm sure we'll find a way…"

Argus Clark is a 22 year old college student, doing a 3 year Engineering Diploma in I.T (Information Technology). On the day his final’s report-card came out, his whole life changed, as this was his 5th year, if he didn’t clear all the subjects, he will get expelled according the collage rules. Making the 5 years of his life, nothing but a waste of time. And his worst fear came true, not because he didn’t score enough marks but, because of one stupid mistake.
He got insulted, humiliated, mocked by his parents and, even his younger siblings. But it was that silent rejection, disdain and disregard of his existence which drove to take that leap.
This is the story of a guy who is as calculative as he is careless, silly, irresponsible and naïve in his own ways.

 *NOTE…1. This isn’t a novel, where a guy goes around making girls falling for him with his insane abilities and charisma.

2. MC is a looser with little to no self-esteem, someone who’s trying to put himself back together piece by piece, while also dealing with the regret of committing suicide after realizing just what exactly he has done.

Also….this the first time I am writing a novel....and English is not my native language but I am confident it will be a pleasant experience for the readers. At most there will be a little bit of grammar mistakes and commas (I am not good with them).

Daeva after bumping with Juno, she thought that her behavior wasn't so nice. But when the school bell rings, she snapped out of it and went to her designated room for her subject. Daeva is a fourth year college student in Literature and Creative Writing. She thought of becoming a writer to write literary pieces based on her experiences. Also, she thought that becoming a writer would allow her to have a small chance of interacting with people.

When she was about to enter her room, her Professor bumped into her. Mrs. Sanchez smiled at her. Daeva greeted her good morning and Mrs. Sanchez greeted her in return.

They both entered the room and Daeva sat at the second row. Mrs. Sanchez greeted her class and began discussing a lesson about her subject. She kept blabbing in front while Daeva glanced at the window. She caught a glimpse of Juno who's about to leave the school gates. As she follows Juno with her eyes, she began to feel a sharp pain at her left forearm. She didn't bother looking at it, she knows that it's currently bleeding so she just pulled her black sleeves lower. She returned her attention to her discussing professor and listens to her.

A couple of subjects passed then Daeva's lunch break arrived. She quickly ate at the cafeteria before going to the library. The school's library was enormous. It's also where the book club is rooming. Daeva is a member of the Book club and happens to be a good friend of Kevin, the Book club's president. When Daeva came in, she found Kevin fixing books that weren't returned to the proper shelve. She just picked up some books that were left at the tables and did the same. There weren't too much people in the library for now so she started casually chatting with Kevin.

"Hey Kev, you seem frustrated... What's wrong??" asked Daeva.

"Student School Council Vice President...She destroyed my morning." said Kevin casually.

"What did she do to you?" Daeva felt curious.

"Oh nothing...She just shuted me out... refusing to do some student council duties...or simply take the proposal and leave it to miss President's table... That's all..." Kevin replied.

Daeva didn't asked further what happened...But then, she felt like the person who she bumped with earlier at the hall way was the Vice President.

"The Vice President, was she the campus belle I keep hearing about." Daeva asked.

"Hmm? Yeah, that's her...Why, what's up?" asked Kevin as he finished arranging the books.

"I think she's the pretty blonde girl I bumped with this early morning. She wasn't really polite." Daeva said as she scratches the area where she felt pain while staring at Juno.

Kevin saw Daeva scratched her forearm right bellow her palm. He looked at Daeva with malicious intent. His lips curved up at one side. He then grab Daeva's hand and brought her to the school's clinic. Daeva didn't resisted and just followed Kevin.

The nurse was currently out of the clinic so Daeva's forearm can be treated. She pulled her sleeve up and let Kevin treat her wound. Kevin cleaned the blood off and covered it with bandage. When he was done, Daeva thanked Kevin and they came back to the library. 

There, while Daeva was waiting for her next class like Kevin, they decided to read a book. Daeva picked a random fantasy book while Kevin opened his laptop and read about demons.

"Let's go home together later and just order pizza for dinner, what do you say?" Kevin offered to Daeva.

Daeva just nodded, it's not very often that they go home together. Daeva and Kevin are roommates and oftentimes, Daeva gets home first before Kevin because of his club president duties.

Almost an hour have passed and Kevin closed his laptop. It's time for his next class, Daeva still have over half an hour before her next subject so Kevin just left her. When Kevin left the library, the atmosphere in the library became gloomy. Anyone who's in there felt uncomfortable, some left but some ignored it. Daeva is feeling a bit irritated but what can she do? She can't get rid of them...never...

Daeva kept reading until its just 15min left before her next class. She stood up from her sit and returned the book into one of the shelves. She felt a hand caressed her cheek and hear a chuckle. Daeva ignored it and left the library.

When she's out of the library, she can feel that someone ran "its" fingers on her hair. Her mouth was twitching, slowly forming a malicious grin. She covered her mouth with her hands, then, she took out a face mask from her pants's pocket and covered her grin. She went to her next class as if nothing had happened.

She still have 2 subjects left for her to survive. Her 3rd subject for the day passed as if it was a filler chapter of her day. Nothing very interesting occurred nor the class. But on her final subject of the day: Creative Writing, the class was given an activity and that is to write a poem. The poem have no specific theme but should be rhyming.

Writing poems weren't a problem for Daeva at all. She doesn't limit herself when it comes to writing and its subject. She writes what's in her mind and what she feels. They we're given an hour and when they were done, they are then dismissed. Daeva finished after 30min, she's always the first one to finish. As she passed her work and leaves the room, her professor Mr.Wilson gave her work a read.
