"Man… I got nothing," Shujinkou sighed. The natural confidence the young writer had when he started his task continued to leave him as he stared down at his paper. He could imagine that this was how heroes felt when the situation they try to prevent seems like it does not seem to want to be stopped.  The words were there in his head, but every time he attempted to write them down, doubt appeared to say that it wasn't good enough. "This is hard."
"Told you," Natsuki said.
Shujinkou looked up from the blank sheet of paper and locked eyes with the petite club member sitting next to him. He felt like they were judging his every move, but he also noticed a hint of curiosity emanating from them.
"Writing isn't as easy as you thought, huh?" she added.
"It's not like I thought it was going to be easy, but…" Shujinkou's voice started to trail off. He always that knew it wouldn't be easy, but the irritation from just trying to write down the beginning scenario he envisioned was enough to drive a man crazy.
"One thing all writers got to hate is writing the beginning," Natsuki sympathized. "You got all these ideas that you think is great, but then you realize that if you screw up the beginning then you won't be able to get potential readers to continue. And if you think that it gets any easier after that, then you'd be wrong. Transferring your thought to the paper is harder than brainstorming the ideas in the first place. It can be very frustrating."
"I get it now," Shujinkou weakly chuckled. It had just dawned upon him that the credit he was already giving writers was not enough.
"You also got to keep in mind the differences between the medium you're writing for," Natsuki added.
"What do you mean?" Shujinkou wondered.
"Manga for example has two story-telling devices: the art and the dialogue. The dialogue tells you what's going on and see what a character says or thinks while the art allows you to see how the characters are feeling and what they and the setting looks like. For a novel, you have to explain every little detail without explaining every little detail. You have to find ways to explain appearances, describe the setting and set the tone all while moving the story along," Natsuki explained.
"Man…" Shujinkou mumbled. He could feel his respect for writers' sky rocket once more. "So do you feel this frustrated when writing?"
"Me? Hardly. For a pro like me, writing's as easy as it is to sort out my book collection," Natsuki boasted, turning her attention away from him.
"Well, it looks like I have some major catching up to do," Shujinkou said without any hint of envy. He then started to wonder how the other club members viewed the writing process and what advice they could also give him. "So, how'd it get easier for you?"
"Eh?" Natsuki turned back to him with a flustered look on her face. "Well… uh… Just keep practicing and you'll improve."
With her uncharacteristic delayed response, Shujinkou couldn't help but wonder if she was saying that him or herself.
"If you keep practicing you may be able to start catching up to me in about 5 years," Natsuki laughed.
"Maybe," Shujinkou joined in the laughter.
It was always a treat for him to see Natsuki express her positive emotions more.
"By the way… do you think I could borrow volume 3 of Crash Bandicoot?" Natsuki asked.
"Er…" Shujinkou was afraid to answer that question. He would have been glad to lend her the 3rd volume, except the series was cancelled after the 2nd, ending the entire story on a cliffhanger. He felt pretty devastated upon finding out that harsh truth; there was no telling how Natsuki would respond. Fortunately for him, Sayori's sudden and loud arrival took Natsuki's attention away from him.
"Shujinkouuuuuu!" she beamed. "Can I…?"
"No," Shujinkou bluntly answered.
Shujinkou didn't even need to hear her finish that question. He knew her well enough to know what she was about to ask.
"But I'm hungry and have no money!" she whined.
"I know, but you're always asking me for money for the vending machines and I'm always lending it to you," Shujinkou said.
"I know and that's one of the reasons why you're such a good friend," she grinned.
"Thanks, but as your friend, I think it would be best if I stopped enabling you," Shujinkou said, before completing the sentence in his head, "Plus I got to start being a good friend to my wallet too."
"Just one more time, Shujinkou! Please!" Sayori begged.
"I'm sorry, Sayori, I can't," Shujinkou said, giving her a stern look.
The desperate girl quickly turned her gaze to Natsuki.
"Natsuki, help me out here! Tell him to lend me some money!" Sayori pleaded.
"No," she also answered bluntly.
"Why not?!" Sayori complained.
"Because you still owe me for all the times I lent you money for food," Natsuki chastised.
"You two are being so mean," Sayori pouted.
A tired sigh escaped from Shujinkou's body. Sayori's childish reactions made him feel like he was a father working together with his wife to accomplish telling their kid "no" for the first time. It was at that very moment of clarity when he realized that he should probably apologize to his mother later that day. He then noticed Natsuki digging around her bag and watched her pull out a small bag with a pink cat plastered on the sides.
"Look, if you want to eat so badly, then you can have a couple of these cookies," Natsuki offered.
With lightning fast speed, Sayori snatched the bag with a big smile on her face.
"Thanks Natsuki!" she beamed.
"H-Hold on a sec!" Natsuki huffed, slamming her hands on the desk. "I said only a couple."
"You're the best!" Sayori grinned as she skipped away.
"Sayori! Give them back!" exploded Natsuki. She jumped out of her seat and chased after the satisfied vice-president. As the two played their game of cat-and-mouse, Monika returned to the classroom with a small stack of paper in hand.
"I'm back everyone!" Monika said, announcing her presence. But her words fell on only one set of ears as the cat and mouse focused all of their senses on each other.
Shujinkou watched the surprisingly calm club president scan the room before finally deciding to approach him.  
"Yuri's still not here?" she asked.
Shujinkou shook his head.
"It's not like Yuri to just not show up," Monika said. "I even checked around to find out if she wasn't feeling well but there were no reports of her leaving early.
The club president neatly placed the papers on the teacher's desk and sighed.
"I wonder what's going on with her," she wondered aloud.
"I think she's scared," Shujinkou replied.
Monika turned back to Shujinkou. Despite knowing that Yuri is consistently nervous, she still knew that someone stating she was scared wasn't exactly a good thing.
"Scared? Scared of what?" Monika asked.
"I'm not too sure why, but she really tensed up when some guy showed up in my class earlier," Shujinkou replied.
"Guy?" Monika repeated. "What did he look like?"
Shujinkou closed his eyes and tried to recall the man's features.
"He had swept back black hair, a slight goatee and a small scar across his forehead," Shujinkou described. "I think he was a teacher."
He watched Monika's expression change as he finished his description. It seemed like she had something in mind.
"What are you thinking?" Shujinkou asked.
"Do you know where this man is right now?" Monika questioned.
"No," Shujinkou answered shaking her head.
"Hmm…" Monika turned her attention back to the paperwork she brought in, staring at them with a determined expression. "I think it's time for a club field trip."

Shujinkou is your average high schooler. When he isn't indulging in manga or video games, he's usually loses himself to scenarios in his head. That's how he figured he spend the rest of his high school life until a request from childhood friend, Sayori, changes his life forever. Can Shujinkou cope with being pushed out of his comfort zone and adjust to life in the Literature Club?

Both Ace and Luna sat down in their usual study room within the library, as Ace continued to study papers given by Luna. They were discussing various topics and the common trends of the topics given by Luna's academy in preparation for Ace's high school entrance exam, which will take place in Ace's final year of middle school. Luna took a break going through the messages she has missed from her friends while Ace continued to study.
"Another class disappearance..." Luna said as she browsed the internet through her phone.
"It happened again?" Drawn by the news Ace stopped his studying as he also went on his phone to check the headline.
"Mhm, 17 students vanished out of thin air. It was a school in another province, the very thought is scary but at the same time, it's intriguing... "
"How so?"
"Well, how is our mystery kidnapper snatching all these students? Why are they doing it? Why specifically people aged 16-20 years? Before this class, it was a military soldier that disappeared. So many questions raised from these disappearances. Usually, it would happen every few years at least that's the trend and if I'm right the next disappearance will happen in 3-4 years." Luna took notes in her book as she made a mindmap showcasing it to Ace as he watched Luna closely.
"Well, with this new case now the total count for the disappeared is 432. The methods are unknown obviously. The most surprising part is that the students would vanish when they're inside their classes. Making it impossible for a kidnapper to simply break in without making a noise." Ace explained.
"Exactly! With this disappearance now, We certainly know that it won't happen again in a few years, and we know the military should be safe due to their rare cases of disappearances."
"From memory, there were only 10 military personals that had disappeared." Ace noted
"Even so it's almost guaranteed that the next target is a high school class. But... that means, you'll be at risk. When you think about it you have at least one out of how many high schools in the entire world plus how many classes."
"Huh... you're right... But if this is some ingenious kidnapper I'll be able to fight them off." Ace clenched his fist in front of Luna.
"Hm, maybe you're right. I do prefer if these disappearances stop. I'm starting to think some outside phenomenon is at play here." As Luna placed her hand on her chin forming a thinking gesture.
"Haha... That stuff is only in fantasy novels."
"It's the only speculation I'll have for it." Luna shrugged her shoulders. "Oh, by the way, I ended up starting the disciplinary committee at the academy." Luna changed the topic.
Ace looked surprised, he knew Luna's school had its share of bullying cases as stated previously, but the moment he heard that she has started the committee had caused his eyes to widen.
"Huh...? I thought you were just joking..."
"Well, the situation is starting to get much more annoying and I don't want to spend my years of high school with all these dumb issues going on. Plus if my junior is planning to go to the same school I have to make sure he enjoys the environment."
Ace had his hand on his forehead, he was shocked that Luna had done something that was quite unlike her. He started undergoing every consequence that will come to Luna through his head, then slammed the table, not in anger, but fear showing great concern as he clenched his teeth.
"I told you...! You'll be the main target by opening this up!"
"But you were the one that sounded all for it previously. Why the sudden change of attitude? I get my own classroom so I can write in peace when nothing happens."
"Surely you're not the only current member, right? Knowing you, you probably have thought this through."
Ace sighed, he knew Luna wasn't someone to go down without a fight and is willing to stand her ground. After remembering the situation with her and the other girls he imagined that nothing wrong will happen to her.
"Of course, who do you think you're talking to? I have Elias and a few others. I'm currently the committee captain for founding this group."
"Do you have a teacher backing you guys up as well?"
"Obviously. I got one of the teachers that hold me in high regard.  If things get nasty well the target student may be suspended or expelled. It was one of the best ideas the principle has heard in a long time. Such a simple idea having a group enforcing discipline around the school."
Luna talked as she held high regard in her actions. Despite Ace's concerns, he didn't bother at all to talk back as he fondly enjoyed Luna boasting her achievement holding a smile.
"Well as long as you don't get hurt or anything."
"Nothing will happen to me. I promise you that. Just focus on your studying and eventually we'll go to school together even if it's just for one year by the time you enrol."
Hearing those words seemed to hurt Ace as he hid a saddened expression. He knew that Luna will be much busier once she attends university and is unsure whether he will get to enjoy time with her after school.
"If only I was born a bit earlier..."
"Why does that matter? You and I are talking right now, right? You're a treasured friend to have at times Ace so don't sell your self short. After University I will still talk to you no matter what."
Luna held the most beautiful smile to Ace. The way her apple lips lifted, the way her silver eyes sparkled so brightly it reflected Ace's frozen expression. To him, Luna was the most beautiful person in his eyes.
After a few seconds, Ace looked down to hide his embarrassment he couldn't bear to look at Luna right in the eye.
"Right... haha you're right. I'm just fond of our after school hangouts."
"Haha, I am too." Luna looked at her watched and realised the time. "Aah...! I have a group project coming up so I have to leave early. How about I make it up for you tomorrow? There's something I want to do tomorrow."
"Sure thing. I'll take my leave as well."
"Then let's pack up."

-The Next Day-
"Are you going to the library again Ace?"
A girl's voice called out to Ace as he packed his bag. He looked behind him only to find his cousin Freya in her archery club gear.
"Yeah... Did Aunt say something about my behaviour again?"
"No, not really. As long as you're okay then we're satisfied. You always stay there pretty late though."
"I'm just studying and reading."
"It is a library after all. The Martial Art's club is doing pretty bad without you. Are you joining back anytime soon?"
"No. Not right now."
"Figures. Just let me know you're okay alright? These library visits have been constant lately."
Freya understood this as a way for Ace to cope with his mother's death, continuously studying to take his mind off but in actuality, Ace was simply just seeing Luna almost every day after school.
"I know."
However, this very reason was due to Luna alone as Freya did not know about Ace's activities with her during this time. The moment the school bell rang Ace walked out of school in a hurry being the first one out of everyone to leave. He ran with excitement brimming from his small smile as he headed straight towards the library, he did not want Luna to wait for so long that he poured all his energy into his legs. The first thing he saw in front of the entrance was Luna who waited patiently for Ace to finish school.

-Library-
"Good job on finishing a day of school. They should really make Middle School hours shorter for you guys." Luna smiled.
"Sorry, I'm late." Ace had his hands on his knees gasping for air as he tried his best gasp for air.
"I just got here. Don't worry."
The two went into their usual routine. One would book a study room beforehand so they can talk freely without disturbing anyone in the building. Luna would either recommend a book, study or talk about one of the writers she is currently into and this time she printed out two sheets of paper.
"What's this...?" Ace peeked closer.
"The human's Jar exercise, by one of the writers I told you about."
Hearing that out of context Ace gave a judgemental expression towards Luna.
"What...? Maybe I should've made you wait outside longer."
"Hear me out. It's an exercise to see how fulfilled we are with our lives as of right now. The Jar is an extension of our fulfilments, passions, relationships and essentially our will to look forward to the next day, the next year, and till our death comes."
"..."
"The author created something like a personality quiz, you just tick those options and you'll get a score. Then you use a ruler to draw the line to see how full your jar is on the sheet of paper. After that, you'll read the chapter that correlates to your score on the jar. Doesn't that sound like fun?" Luna asked in an excited tone. "It's so interactive. Such a great way to incorporate technology, reader interaction and most importantly a targetted section of the book just for you."
"This is tedious... a personality quiz, then I have to draw a line to see how full of a jar I have on this sheet of paper. Then I get to read a chapter based on what I got?" Ace asked in an annoyed tone.
"Not a chapter... a book. Don't worry I'll buy the book for you, it's part of a collection of her Digital Books. Besides, I won a writing competition after all so I have a bit of money to spare."
"This is the stupidest thing you have ever suggested I know we've read numerous writers but I bet this one is some idiot risk-taker that-"
"You're wrong about that. The writer right now is really popular. Look here. I hate to say it but it was the girls in my class that recommended it to me, she has at least 20 books ready."
Luna showed the statistics of the writer through her phone. Already the Writer's collection of novels have reached one million views on each book which had caused Ace's eyes to twitch at the sight of the writer's fanbase.
Nevertheless, after looking at Luna so excited, she did not pause the moment she had started her explanation. Ace let out a sigh but held a small smile as he looked at Luna.
"Fine, let's check it out, shall we? Each book there is only $5 so it wouldn't hurt to try..." Ace scratched his head.
Both of them filled out the questionnaire on their phones. They featured at least 200 questions and in some way, they all related to Ace.

"Huh... 45 out of 200..."
Ace drew his line on the sheet of paper. The jar was barely filled, whilst Luna's one was reached halfway mark where she at least answered half of the questions positively.
"Wasn't that fun?"
"...Well, at least you had fun. What's the point of this picture of the jar anyway?"
"Your book makes references to that very jar. I guess it will provide imagery on how you can metaphorically fill it up. Here I sent you the digital book already."
"Well, I guess I can give it a read."
Ace went on his phone where Luna had gifted him the digital book. The titled read 'An Empty Jar. The Start For One To Be Fulfilled.' Both of them spent time reading the book the entire time in the library. The moment Ace had read the first page he started swiping page after page as it already hooked him.
The book described Ace's character as someone less fulfilled. He already had reached a certain condition to eventually fill up his Jar of fulfilment. Finding someone that represented the light to him, even if he did not find that someone there was plenty of ways for him to fill it up.
The reasoning of your life, how can you impact others with yours? What do you want to do in this very life you live? What will be your purpose? Will you enjoy it once you realise it? Let go of the past and make sure today will you grasp every opportunity that comes your way. Cherish the relationships you have, as each person plays a role in shaping your character.
The book asked many questions and provided advice on how Ace can achieve fulfilment so he can be a less empty individual. The moment he swiped to the next page, he had already reached the ending of the novel.
"Aah... that was a good book. I told you it would be fun."
"...It was interesting."
Ace looked at the time and realise how late it was. The time read 8:00 and knew that he had messaged anyone of his late stay. He messaged Freya and looked at Luna wondering if they will be leaving the library.
"Hm... I'm too late for a train. And my Bus comes in 20 minutes. Sorry, you should have said something if it was this late."
"It's fine, I like spending time with you."
"Haha, I knew that already. Come on let's pack up." Luna held a small chuckle.
As both of them walked out of the library, it was already dark as the Moon and the stars had covered the sky. The two of them headed straight for Luna's bus stop as they chattered on the recent events that happened at school. However, time flew by so quickly that they had already reached Luna's destination.
"I'll stay with you until your bus arrives." Ace said.
"That would be for the best."
Ace sat down next to Luna as she looked up in the sky. A usual person would go on their phone to check whatever social media or news but Luna, on the other hand, had her mind elsewhere.  Ace paid close attention to her, the way she looked at the moon, the way she fixed her silky hair, the sight of her was simply breathtaking for Ace, he wished that he can always spend time with Luna like this and hoped that his relationship can go even further than it is now. As soon as Luna noticed Ace's eyes he immediately looked back focusing his sight elsewhere.
"Ah sorry, I just like looking at the sky. It helps me forget about life's problems and worries. Kind of forcing your body to be at peace with itself without meditating."  Luna explained.
"Sorry... I just thought you looked pretty under the moon." Ace's face went red as he let out his thoughts.
"Well, my name is Luna meaning moon. I'm quite immune to flattery but thanks anyway, but I don't see myself as beautiful as you have stated."
"It doesn't matter to me. You're as pretty as the moon."
"Hehe, you need to work on your flattery before you get a girlfriend."
"Ah, I guess you're right." Ace said in an empty tone. He felt quite hurt by Luna's sentence he had always thought of her romantically. Hearing her say that meant that she still saw him as a friend rather than a potential partner.
The bus soon arrived as it drifted forward waiting for its passengers to get off. It was Luna's turn to get on but just before she took a step onto the vehicle, she turned back to Ace with a smile.
"Thanks for doing that activity with me. I'll message tonight for a next hangout if you're interested."
"Always, take care." Ace waved goodbye, receiving a wave back in return.
"Mm get home safe."
The moment the bus left the stop Ace looked up to the moon with disappointment.
"Aah... Am I still seen as a friend...? How long will it take for you to see me in the same way I see you..."
A notification was heard through his phone knowing that it came from Luna. She messaged about the digital book and her thoughts, waiting for Ace to reply on his part.
"I guess if I still get to speak with you still that's all I need..." Ace held a smile
Interaction with Luna was the only thing that left Ace content with his current life. That is... before her disappearance.

A warm sunny day in L.A, Jim is wearing a nice white shirt with a jeans paired with a Nike white shoes, and a sunglasses. Pulling up his car from the garage on the way in his rehearsal for the 3rd season of the popular sitcom in the U.S "The Big Bang Theory". 

Parking in his spot. Walking to the studio, saying "hi" to some crews and to his co workers that he passed by. 

"Good Morning Jim!" said Amanda (his P.A/ manager) 

"Good Morning too Amanda!" Jim said 

"Here is the new script for episode 22, and table read will be in 5 mins." said Amanda 

"Oh ok, thank you, I am gonna go down stairs" Jim said 

Jim walking out of his dressing room, going downstairs for the table reading, holding his coffee while scrolling through Instagram. 

"Jim! How's Last Night??" Johnny asked 

"Ohhh hahahaha, I still have a little hung over but I can still do my job" Jim replied 

"You boys really go to the Bar Last Night Huh??" Kaley sits in the conversation 

"Well, My head hurts and I wanna sleep so badly. Then yeah we did go to the bar" Johnny replied 

"hahahaha nice one Johnny. You should've seen Simon Last Night, he was drunk as hell, he started dancing in the table" Jim said 

"People enough chit chat, we'll start our table read in a minute" Bill Prady walked in front of them and said 

"You Guys need to tell me all later" Kaley said 

"Hahahaha you really are a curious cat" Jim teases her 

The Cast, producers, director and guest stars are sitting on the table 
"Is everyone in here?" mark asked 
Simon and Kunal both rushes too their seats, both wearing shades, and clothes still messed up 

"We're here!!" they both said 

"Sorry we are late, the traffic was horrible" Simon said 

"Yeah" Kunal added 

"Oh ok "If you say so", but next time please don't be late on table read, cause we only do this once in every episode" Mark replied
 
"Sorry Mark, it wont happen next time" Simon replied 

"Yeah we are so sorry" Kunal added 
"Ok lets begin" Chuck said 

After an hour they finished their table read, rehearsals begins..... 

"And that's a cut!! That's for this morning people, lets continue this afternoon", Director Mark announced 

"Nice one people, that was a good rehearsal" Johnny said too the group 

"Simon buddy you good?" Jim asked 

"No I am not good, my head still hurts because of hangover last night. But thanks for asking Jim" Simon replied 

"I told you boys not to go to the bar on Sundays cause we will have rehearsal on Mondays" Penny said 

"Yeah, yeah Kaley, we know" Kunal replied
 
"Jim, can you come to the writers room for a min?" Bill interrupts 

"Oooooohhhhhhh!!!!!!" the group teases 

*Jim stares in confusement* "Um ok Bill" Jim replied 

Jim entered the writers room, there he found Chuck, Mark, Steve and Bill 

"Um why am I here?" Jim asked 

"Jim we are here to tell you, that your character Sheldon will have a love partner in the next season but she will be introduce in the last episode for this season" Chuck said 

"Technically a potential love partner" Steve added 

"We are having auditions this Friday, and as your character Sheldon played by you, we would like that you will be present during the auditions, so that you can find the one woman you can feel connection or chemistry for your character Sheldon" Bill added 

"Oh well sure! Um this will be great for the show and for Sheldon too!! I will be present in the audition" Jim replied 

"Ok nice!! we will see you then in Friday for the auditions" Mark said 

Jim got out to the writers office and walked to his dressing room... 

Days passed by and its Friday the cast only had final rehearsals on the morning cause there would be audition in the afternoon.... 
Jim is walking to the writers room where the audition would take place, holding papers that has the list of auditions, and scrolling through Instagram. Then suddenly 

*Bumps himself in another person* 

"Ouch!" 
"Ah!" 

*papers scattered to the floor* 

"Miss I am so sorry *helping the lady stand up* Are you ok---" Jim stops as he gaze and look upon the beauty of the lady 

"Oh! its ok, you should probably look on where you are going" the lady said 

Jim found himself in a situation he couldn't expect, he kept on staring on the eye of the lady examining how her green eyes dazzle as he looked upon it. 

"Um, Excuse me? Sir?" the lady said snapping him out 

"Ohhh, um-um-um I am very sorry" Jim replied nervous to her 

"Jim the audition will be starting" Amanda pulled him to the room 

As he walks away the image of the woman pictured in his mind. The Auditions went by, there are so many who auditioned and all of them has a potential. But Jim doesn't find himself and his character Sheldon having chemistry with the people who auditioned that passed by. 

"Bill how many more people will auditioned?" Jim asked 

"Only 5 more Jim, You didn't find any potential partner for Sheldon?" Bill asked 
Jim just shooked his head and sighs 

"Ok next person come in" Steve said 
Jim didn't handle his patience, because throughout the audition he kept on think about the lady he just met. Until he didn't handle it and stood up 

"Chuck you all can finish the audition I am gonna go cause I feel sick and you all can pick whom ever you all would like to be the partner of Sheldon" Jim said 

"Oh ok Jim, If you say so" Chuck replied 

He turns his back until 

"Last person please come in" Chuck announced 

He saw the woman who is pictured in his mind entering the room like an angel walking, holding a script. He sat back down in his sit, and just keep on staring on her like a goddess he just cant resist to look away. Chuck and the others are confused 

"Jim I thought you are leaving cause your sick??" Chuck asked

"Hi Everyone! I am Mayim Bialik, 30 years old, and I am a Jew. I have a PhD in neuroscience, from UCLA." 

"Oh that is impressive Ms. Bialik, now lets proceed to the screen test" Mark said 
Jim just stared at her and didn't said a word, he watched her in the screen for the screen test. He couldn't really explain what is happening to him 

"Ok that is good Mayim, we will call you back if you are in job" Chuck said 

"Ok, thank you all for your time" Mayim replied 

Jim watched her as he exited the writers room and as the door shut. he gain his consciousness back in the real world. 

"So Jim do you have someone in mind?" Chuck asked 

"I have, I want Mayim Bialik to play as the potential lover for Sheldon Cooper" Jim said 

"Oh so Mayim Bialik it is!" Chuck replied 

"Great when are we gonna start working?" Jim asked eagerly 

"Whoa, really eager Jim. Do you like her??" Chuck asked with confusion and interest 
"What? No of course not, I am just excited for Sheldon to have a partner, hopefully she would be good for Sheldon" Jim replied nervously but kept the coolness 

"Oh she will be in our last episode table read and also rehearsals" Chuck replied 
"Great! Well gotta go I Still have dinner with some friends" Jim replied 

Jim walks out the writers room still cant stop thinking of Mayim 

"So that's her name, "Mayim" what a unique and beautiful name" Jim said to himself with a little smirk on his face

This is a story I worked on ages ago that has been refined and edited by adding foreshadowing to events while also simplifying the power system better than before. This story can be considered a prequel to An Adventure Beyond Greatness as it takes place years prior to the events of that story.

Short Synopsis:
After retiring from the battlefield, my life became empty and lifeless. The regrets of my past haunt me in my sleep. Then a change occurred, a King from another world summoned me to fight for his kingdom, but I died even before I could give him my answer. Now, after a fake God allowed me to reincarnate (albeit imperfectly) with my memories intact, into a world filled with magic and swords.

Long Synopsis:
This is about a flawed protagonist who only knew to rely on others and not socialise who gets a second chance to change himself in order to live the life he aimed for in his past life. The narrator isn’t exactly trustworthy since it is purely in his bias perspective while other perspectives given by others fill in the blanks that he either leaves out or twists to suit the situation.

The story itself can be considered a parody of Isekai’s classic tropes which are given a sense of reality as time goes by. As there exists no ‘Demon Lord’, there is also no black and white, only characters opinions and counter-opinions throughout the story.

Can you make a novel on a facebook post?
This is the first thing I thought when I'm not online. And this is this is the the 0th chapter of a Webnovel that I'm attempting to create. Well, it's more like a discussion of sorts, focusing on the topic of creation of a character and original characters.
Chapter 0-Webnovels
Part 1
Webnovels are known to be written mostly by Korean writers. The length of how many chapters they can dish out and words written on a single chapter is likely akin to light novels and hardbind novels. I ponder about the thought if a novel can be composed on a platform such as a Facebook post. Probably the next chapter will come after this. I can do this. Okay why do I feel like I've just received a light writer's block just now? Never mind, on the topic of Webnovels. Ah yes where I was.
Typically the Webnovels or content written or created by Koreans seem to be very long take Korean drama as an example, an hour ling montage of exposition shots that you can make an amazing music video out of it, exposition shots that take precision to capture, there are also Webcomics that doesn't know limitations on panel composition and characters that are free running like a platform in their own world which is great not going to lie. And then there's the Webnovels, the longest chapter count I've encountered is 1000+. Yes that is a plus sign I've typed which means it's still ongoing. I just can't seem to compete with these writers knowing my origin as an Asian...wait Korea is also part of assai.
Writing is a free form for every country regardless of the country they're from. Writing is a hobby for most, well not all Americans, there can also be African or Japanese writers as well. I'm thinking of ways to fill up the topic while staying consistent to the words inputted on this long post.
One can only wonder where writers get all the ideas for plots and character interactions. I'll take a guess that it could be inspirations from outside media, such as endless shows and anime on televisions and soap operas, there's also written fiction, books on hardbound copies. Shoot it was actually hardbound not hardbind. I just realized the correct spelling, the first paragraph has that error welp it's there now. Moving on.
I've recently found myself reading a novel called this and i find some parts of it confusing and most part laughable, an MP inspired book as they said. But I don't know the humor of MP. There's also that one light novel that I found entertaining to read from the first episode of the first season up to the last second of the film. The characters and interactions are laughable to an extent that I have chuckled and held my stomach.
Writing should have spaces in between. I forgot to input white spaces for the reader to take a break. One moment, while I make whitespaces...
 
Damn, I can't see the text vividly. I'm typing on a free data phone with a whitish gray background and a white text. I can only imagine how long this would take to read but I do believe there are some fast readers that can swiftly pass through these walls of text. Like how a blade passes through paper.

Does 800 words per minute a bit of overkill when reading too fast? I'm not counting on how many words I've typed so far. So I guess about less than a thousand? Anyways this is more likely a guy just spouting facts for people that want to start reading Webnovels. This can also help you in writing contents on your own chapters, and also read more Webnovels. The longer you read the more experience you'll have on writing. Now moving on to a novel-like starter. Let me have a try.

I stand alone and found a chair by my side. Am I supposed to sit here? That question came up to my thought. But the only thing I see is a white space in front of me devoid of edges. There is an infinitely widespread of a space to.be exact. The edges, well, no edges can be seen not even corners. It seems Like I am floating yet the dim shadow on my foot reminded me that I am standing on a flat surface.

Is this how a Webnovel starts from the 0th chapter? I think of ways on how to create a desk. Maybe a desk would be nice to have right now. A table to lay rest for my arms has worn out.
Then, a table didn't appear. I think having the thought of the table existing would benefit my situation, to have a table right in front me to start working on creating content. One can only appreciate the thought of having a chair to sit upon. But having these thoughts doesn't make the material appear out of thin air. Materializing an item suddenly in a realm where nothing exists isn't an easy task; it might take some inspiration or an imagination for it to work.

Creating a character would be easy for a first timer. The most thing OC creators create is a self-insert character, well most of them perhaps. Some stray from the singular thought of self-insert and instead creating other characters than themselves. There are also others that created characters that are many, too many take one thousand characters, but some characters are forgotten and would somehow get stuck in a shelf somewhere unbeknownst to the creator if it even exists in the first place. And possibly the existence of the forgotten characters slowly fade away as years pass by. I dearly hope that you all remember the characters you've made during your creation phase. It's fine if you don't draw them most of the time, simply talking about them can help their existence on staying relevant.

But on my creation of the OCs, I referenced from outside sources, a fantasy film to be exact. It has questionable dialogue that can only leave the English audience saying "wat". Dilly dally silly sally, what are you saying woman. But the fight scenes, context on the fight scenes and I must say this, in all its glory and composition of music. I daresay in 7 letters. AWESOME with all capital letters. Specially, the original part where the sword became separated when thrown, the remake version is kind of eh for me. I like the one where he throws it. I would recommend for all weapon loving creators.

Part 2

Okay got back from deep thought.
The first set of characters lies on my field of sight screams fantasy in all aspect. Their clothing sense is not known to be the general term of everyday wear. It's a first for character creators to link characters to fantasy rather than reality, but not all of the creators, some of the creators base their characters on reality and real characters. This group is a general term of a chimera fusion from various inspirations of unspeakable names. Not the monstrous kind of chimera, we're not making horror here.

The first one (Terro the Slasher) to exist has a sword strapped on his belt. That very same sword that can project beaming slices from a distance likely from a panda film's opening scene, a pant design that takes from a game character that is fiery as it's counterpart and has a pair of black wings. And an eyeglass that seem to be a hindrance rather than an accessory. The eyewear is covered in a headphone like design, covering one's ears I question the design choice inspiring from a game character that is equal to a blind man. The referenced character is an android and has a number for a name.

After the first run through of his abilities, he's fitting to be called a swordsman. Although, he had troubles encountered when dealing with explosive mines on the ground. Just having your hearing and sight lightly blocked could cause one to lose sensitivity on their one's feet.

And there's the chain on his left leg. Adding a feeling of heaviness when walking, the positive side of it is having a stable stance when firing slice beams out of the sharpness of the blade. I wonder if the belt cross has something to do with religion but ignore its implications. I didn't include religion as part of his identity; I should add it just in case to have more words on his profile information.

The second (Jeff the Disciple) one wears inactive wings covering his kimono, the kimono robe had writings of a spell by the side. Having the power to wield a certain type of flame can make one to question if his hand is affected by the dancing azure hue. It's not that this is linked to certain anime. Why would you think of that? It's linked to various media not just that single anime boy that has a blue flaming katana.

His abilities can be called practical and likely in tune with the first character. Because both characters use a blade, with the first using a blade and the other a katana. The first is a slice thrower and the second a flame bearer. The second one's ability is an area of effect offensive skill. When faced with opponent in medium numbers, like ten individuals for example, the AoE (Area of Effect) skill can take on most of them.

Ah wait. It seems procrastination is trying to call upon my writing soul. Hold up while I yeet that feeling out of the window. Now where was I. Yes the third is a gunner type, he takes inspiration from a certain lass in a certain game that is certainly entertaining and certainly certain that the curtain is blowing while I type this and getting back to him is that he has a cape. Well that was a word salad just now. Anyways, the first two had sleeved jackets or robes that slide down almost near their feet, but this guy wears a cape. He is very reminiscent of a certain scene on a film I talked about in the first place. Although he is sourced from that certain game character that wields two guns and is a bounty hunter and a character from a film that has a red cape.

Did I say that his guns does not fire bullets but little energy balls. The concept of his bullet is to gather energy and shoot it on one concentrated point. Am I making sense or is this typing going to end because I've lost count already. Anyways, you could say he's a natural born hunter.

The third (Daemon the Gunner) aimed his bullets at multiple targets appearing in sequence at the distance. The training room that has been used by the two characters beforehand is an imaginary space field generator. It's a small notebook that can generate an imaginary subspace in front of the holder when a page is turned. Although omnipotent as it is, it could only be used 3 times a day. It was used by the two characters earlier for their training, the test run of the third character firing at moving targets followed up after them. He did well, the damage inflicted can be seen as a water gun spreading when in contact with a target. I see that he is performing as per his ability. The simulation ended, the subspace disappeared and he went to the surface where I'm in.

Another individual steps into the fray but the usage for the imaginary space field generator has been used up. I signaled the remaining characters to stay put as the training room dissipates into nothingness, leaving the notebook to close on its own.

This webnovel is a multiversed one. I had a trouble wit hthe genre picking and stuff. Lots of leads female, male I think mostly are male. By the way. I am the author that made Conceps comic in webtoon. Some of the concepts there may be applied here.

Disclaimer: What do you mean I don't own this?! My…my life now has no meaning. It is but a black, lifeless void of shame and regret, mounted upon the very cusp of my aspirations. Author's Note: Holy. Fucking. Shit. I seriously did not expect to get so much love for chapter 8, like seriously you guys thank you. I noticed that a lot of people loved the fight scenes and the end with Naruto and Monica. I'm glad you liked them, I wanted the last chapter to be a turning point for Naruto on a few different levels. Now not only is he going to be less focused on going home, now he's going to try and make a difference on this world and but at the same time he's going to do it in a way that's different than most other superheroes. He will put people down if he feels it's necessary, unlike most characters like Batman, Superman, or Spider-man. For me, it always seemed kind of stupid in hindsight not to kill of someone like say the Joker or the Green Goblin. I can tell you why they don't, and it's not because of any kind of moral code the writers have that they pass down to their characters. No, the only reason villains aren't killed off is because if you look at it from outside the box, and see it from more of a business man's perspective, it's just not a good idea to kill off a villain, because then the writers have to come up with a new villain every couple of weeks, that and if a character is popular, you just don't kill them off. That's why when on the rare occasion a hero goes "rogue" and kills, it's always a B or C level character that the fans don't mind to see killed off. That and think of all the paraphernalia these villains create: clothes, posters, toys, videogames, etc. If Ditko and Stan Lee had killed off the Green Goblin, or if Bob Kane had killed off the Joker, just imagine how empty the heroes we love would be now in the present day. Sometimes though, especially with the Joker, it just gets ridiculous the crap these guys pull and get away with because of the heroes' moral code. Jason Todd, Barbara Gordon, Gwen Stacey, Sue Dibney, the list goes on. But that's just my opinion I suppose. For those that have been paying attention to the dates in the story, you would know that we've been getting really close to the Avengers Arc. Well, I'm glad to say that that starts this chapter. Finally, is it just me or were there a shit ton of trailers that have come out recently? For starters, anybody else excited for the Atomic Blonde movie? The director will be helming Deadpool 2, and from the trailers I'm honestly impressed with his style, and I hope that transitions over well with DP2. Then we got Thor: Ragnarok and just recently Star Wars: The Last Jedi, both I almost shat my pants when I saw they came out. I'm so excited for the end of the year to roll along, you can't even imagine. Alright, this was long enough of a note, time for the chapter.

Chapter Nine: Low Key

"You call that low key?!"
Those were the first things to leave Illyana's mouth as Naruto entered the room. Said room was the Valid's hotel room, the blood that had once lay in a pool in the hotel doorway was now gone, cleaned up by Naruto's clones. The blonde man walked past the agitated woman, walking into the living room to see Gabrielle, her sleeping son scooped up into her arms. Looking over into the open bedroom door, Naruto could see that Charles was laying on the bed, his body covered by the bed spread. A sudden wave of memories flooded into his head, the clone's experience of dropping off the Acquired and the other AIM experiments at a hospital allowing him to relax knowing that those poor people were now in good hands.
"Hey!" Magik said in a harsh whisper, "Don't ignore me! Do you have any idea what's going on because of your little show? You're all over the news for God's sake!" The blonde finished by pointing at the television, the local news covering the breaking story of a how the city wide war was now over, the rebelling side having been picked off by what reports were calling a 'One Man Army.' The story then shifted over to the coverage going on in Sokovia, the reporter stating that what many believed to be a freak explosion to have gone off in a privately owned military base. The owner of the company running said base, a man named Aldrich Killian, gave a brief statement just moments ago saying that the reason behind the explosion is just as unknown to him as it is to the general public, and that he and the remains of his organization are doing the best they can in their investigation.
Naruto ignored her however, his attention completely on the still balling woman kneeling down in front of him. Crouching down next to her, Naruto hesitated several times before gently placing his hand on Gabrielle's shoulder, "We should go."
Gabrielle's eyes slowly opened, revealing her eyes to be red and puffy from her constant tears of sadness and now happiness. After a moment of thought, the red head nodded slowly, slowly standing up, making sure not to wake her exhausted son, the boy just having fallen asleep in her arms.
Naruto then walked over into the bedroom, slowly walking up to the corpse laying in the bed. Tucking the sheet to where it was under the body, Naruto gently lifted the body bridal style, the sheet nearly spilling onto the floor. Entering the living room once again, Naruto heard Illyana ask Gabrielle where she wanted to go.
"I…I just want to go home." Gabrielle croaked out.
Illyana nodded, "Do you have a picture of it?" Gabrielle nodded, reaching into her pocket to pull out her phone. Unlocking the lock screen, she then began to scroll through her photos before stopping on one in particular. Gabrielle seemed to hesitate for a moment, a small smile spreading across her face for only a moment before she seemed to collect herself. Clicking it so that the picture expanded outwards, she then showed it to the blonde woman in front of her.
It was a family picture, with a younger Charles and Gabrielle standing in front of your standard suburbia household. Upon closer inspection, you could see that Gabrielle looked to be rather far along in a pregnancy, six months at least, with Charles gently caressing her bloated belly, a wide smile on his face as he looked forward.
"Alright, that should be enough. Thank you." Illyana said. Closing her eyes, Magik began to reach out towards the house. Finally, after several seconds, a large portal opened up behind her. Stepping aside, Magik allowed Gabrielle and Herald to walk through first. The red headed woman looked at the portal with slight trepidation before taking a tentative step forward. Feeling nothing abnormal happen to her foot on the other side, Gabrielle then decided to go for it, walking through the portal completely. Illyana and Naruto followed after her, with a handful of clones following after him with the Valid family's luggage in their hands.
As Naruto walked through the portal, he saw that they were now in a British suburbia, each house identical to the other, with the houses stretching on down the neighborhood endlessly. The luggage set down next to the small stairway leading up to the house entrance, Naruto walked up after her. Opening the door, the three walked in. If Naruto was honest with himself, he was slightly surprised with the messiness of the house. Toys were scattered all along the floor, with several different types of books and magazines scattered along several varying table tops. Dust had begun to settle, leaving the house in a rather musty state, as they could see the flying dust particles dancing in the sunlight. Seeing a nearby couch, Naruto walked over towards it. As he made his way in front of the couch, Naruto looked down that the covered face of the man he considered a friend.
"I'm sorry Charles…I truly am." He whispered. Gently he then rested his friend on the couch, making sure the sheet covering him stayed in place as he did.
"I'd like for you to leave now."
Turing around, Naruto could see Gabrielle standing behind him, her left hand holding her right elbow as she looked at the blonde with a slightly scathing look. Naruto looked at Gabrielle for several moments, pondering the right words to say before eventually deciding that it would be best for everyone if he said nothing. Slowly walking past her, Naruto began to walk out the door when he felt someone press against his mental barrier.
"Goodbye…Naruto."
The Shinobi stopped for only a second before continuing his stride down the stairs, "Goodbye, Herald." He thought. Walking towards Illyana he looked up to see that the sun had begun to peek out, showing that a new day had just begun, "Would your friend still be here?" He asked.
Taking a second to look at her watch she said, "Probably not, we can go check though if you want."
Naruto gave a slow nod, "Alright." With that another portal opened, with the two blondes walking through it towards their new destination. Stepping out, Naruto saw that they were now in what looked to be the Australian outback. Looking around, Naruto could see that they were standing next to a small cabin.
"Hey old man! You here?!" Illyana called out, her hands cupped around her mouth to project her voice out a little further. Walking up to the cabin, the girl didn't bother knocking, instead barging in as though she owned the place. Naruto followed after her, the two coming into what looked to be a now abandoned quarters, "He's gone." Illyana said with a sigh, "Sorry."
Naruto didn't respond at first, instead plopping down on a nearby chair. Running his hands through his hair, Naruto said, "Don't apologize."
"So…what're you going to do now?" Illyana asked as she walked up to him, sitting in the chair next to him.
Naruto looked up at the woman, a thoughtful look on his face as he said, "I…don't really know to be honest. All the time I've spent here I haven't really made any plans for what I'll do if it turned out I'd be stuck here permanently. Which in hindsight was pretty stupid. What am I gonna do for money? How am I gonna get a job, I don't have one of those diplomas you people value so much. I'm sure as hell not working for SHIELD. And what about Natasha? We've always had this understanding that I might leave eventually, but now I don't know what we're gonna do."
"Natasha?" Illyana asked.
Naruto nodded, answering the woman absentmindedly, "Yeah, she's my girlfriend. We've been going out for a nearly a year now." The realization of that seemed to dawn on Naruto, "Holy fuck…we've been going out for nearly a year now."
"Is that a bad thing?"
Naruto shook his head, a small smile on his face, "No…no not really."
"Oh. Okay." Illyana said a little awkwardly.
With a sigh, Naruto got up from his seat, "I do know one thing though. It's time I got back in the swing of things, I think it's time I introduced the world to a new kind of hero." Looking down at Magik he smirked, "My kind of hero."
"And what kind of hero are you, exactly?" Illyana asked inquisitively.
"The kind that does what's right…or whatever." Naruto said, rubbing the back of his head bashfully.
Magik got up as well, "Maybe that's how you can make some money, be a hero for hire…or whatever." She finished her sentence with a mocking tone.
"Hero for hire huh?" Naruto asked, an impressed look on his face as he nodded his head approvingly, "I mean…I was a Shinobi for hire back home. Yeah…yeaaaahhh. This is all starting to come together!" Naruto said excitedly, rubbing his hands together slowly as a plan began to form in his head.
"You'll need a hero name, like Iron Man or the Human Torch." Illyana said.
"Human Torch?" Naruto asked.
"Yeah, you know…the superhero from the 30's and 40's? Him and Captain America were really big back then. Them and Namor the Sub-Mariner. Those three are considered the golden age of modern heroes."
"There are ages? I thought these guys popping up now were the first heroes."
Illyana shrugged, "Nah, these guys are bronze age. First you had the golden age like I said, then you had the silver age."
"It seems like you're making this way more complicated than it should be by labeling these things." Naruto said with a bit of a deadpan face.
"I'm not the one labeling things, these are established terms for the different superhero ages." Illyana argued.
"You know what, whatever. I feel like we've lost our train of thought."
"Which was?"
"…I don't know."

MODOK, the strange cyborg now a scrambled mess, his arms torn and shredded, the device carrying his massive cranium nearly fallen apart as well, and blood splattered all over the area, a massive gash on the side of his head gushing out the life liquid like a fountain.
"You…you dare talk down to me Korvac? You are nothing but a failed experiment…something that Killian had almost decided to be thrown out like the garbage you are. You are lucky Ms. Rappaccin took such a liking to you..."
"Yes…I owe much to Monica for what I am today. For without her, I would have never evolved into the higher being that I have become. But now…my savior is gone. Because of that man." After a moment, Korvac continued, "You should have protected her. But your weakness prevented you from doing what you were created to do…"
"That man was more powerful than anyone could have expected! Ho-how coul-…how could I have predicted…What are you doing Korva-" MODOK's sentence was interrupted by the fact that a wave of energy suddenly enveloped him, wiping him out of existence entirely.
"Prepare yourself…Naruto Uzumaki. I shall come for you, soon."

Dank. That's what would best describe the apartment building a handful of drug dealers found themselves working in. The four of them were littered all throughout the room, each doing some kind of task as the radio off in the corner blasted the Jay Z/Kanye West collaboration Watch the Throne. One of the drug dealers, a massive black man whose shirt was still three sizes too big, was sitting on the couch in the middle of the room, a Smith and Wesson revolver being polished in one hand, and a good size pile of various handguns, assault rifles, and shotguns resting next to him. Two others, one a very skinny white man with bleached yellow cornrows and a tight wife beater that was plastered with various colored stains and the other was a man that appeared to be of Asian descent with a New York Mets hoodie that seemed to be experiencing some wear and tear. The two of them were busy counting the stack of wrinkled cash in their hands. Finally, the last dealer was another black dude, his long dreadlocks tied back in a loose ponytail, with a thick curly beard wrapped around his face and a green t-shirt that read Richmond Hill High School, showing that the guy was from Queens. The man was kneeling in front of the coffee table in front of the couch, a scale in front of him as he placed a bag full of white flour like powder on top of it, the number flashing on the screen showing that the bag weighed just over two pounds of cocaine.
"This is about 18 G's; Cottonmouth's gonna dig this man." The man with the dreads said, looking at the massive man on the couch, "What's the name of this supplier again?"
"Don't worry about no 'supplier,' shit whatchu think this is, Breakin' Bad or some shit? Yo' job is make that shit there into chalk and that's it, you gettin' me Grad?"
The now named Grad nodded his head, putting his attention back on the key of cocaine in his hands, "My bad T." As he was about to take the key into the kitchen, a knock echoed through the room. The sound of someone knocking on the door stopped all activity in the room, all four of them looking at the door incredulously. It was no secret what activities were going on in this room, so who'd be stupid enough to knock on the door?"
"Is it the Five-O?" The man in the wife beater asked, getting up from his seat as he reached for the gun stashed in his pants just above his ass.
The Asian man looked at the man that spoke, "Who calls a pig 'Five-O' anymore?"
"Shut up!" T harshly whispered before tossing the revolver he just got done cleaning to Grad, "See who it is."
Grad held the revolver in his hand, looking it over tentatively as he said, "Me…for real?"
"Yes you!" T said harshly, pointing towards the door harshly before reaching down for one of the assault rifles on the couch.
Grad looked around the room, hoping someone would speak up for him so that he wouldn't have to be the one to deal with it, only to see the other two looking at him expectantly, obviously wanting him to answer the door as well. Slowly skulking towards the door, Grad raised the revolver up at the ready as he put his hand of the door. Looking through the peephole, he couldn't see anyone on the other side causing him to sigh in exasperation. Giving a silent curse, he slowly unlatched the door lock before ever so carefully opening the door and peeking out through the crack to see who was on the other side.
