Hey, there, reader! I'm Juliette, and if you are reading this, that means you bought my book about my life from the store that literally no one goes to!
I am 14 years old, and I live in Brody, Texas. I have an older sister named Ashley, she's 16, and two little brothers, they're twins and are 11 years old. Their names are Riley and Ryder. We have two dogs, and their names are Sadie and Darwin.
I live in a two-story house with 5 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 kitchens, 4 bathrooms, a garage, and a beautiful backyard. My brothers share a place, while Ashley and I have our own rooms. We each have our private bathroom, except my brothers share one.
I have a lot of friends, but I am not in the popular kids' group. Most of my friends are not Christian. As a result, sometimes they unintentionally make me uncomfortable with things they say and believe and do. I still love them to death and would die for them.
My best friend lives in a town close by, and her name is Melanie. She is also a Christian, and I know her from our church. We do almost everything together.
I am writing this story in my junior year of high school, but it took place in my freshman year. I decided to share this story to tell people that when someone sacrifices something for you, you don't let that sacrifice be in vain because you are scared. This experience was hard and painful, but the end result was something beautiful and glorious. Now, this is where the story starts...

Juliette was born into a family, who, after her preschool age, went to church. She has little twin siblings, both boys, as well as an older sister. She goes to a public school where most of her friends are Atheist and she feels alone in her religion. But because of the sacrifices of several people, she might be able to change that.

De Xi sighed, she turned to fetch her laptop from her bag. She turned her laptop on and her phone started ringing, she looked at the caller id and found it was Cheng Jiu, she connected it, " hello " De Xi said in a monotonous voice. " Madam all the arrangements are done, the chairman of Xiao Jiahuo High School was very delighted when he heard about your arrival " Cheng Jiu said in a serious tone like a news reader.

" that's good, did you ask him to not tell anyone about my arrival " De Xi asked in a calm voice. " yes Madam I did and he promised that apart from him no one will know about it, and your entry will be after the Chief Guest, you will be the last one to enter so that everyone could know that you are present in the event as well " Cheng Jiu said, while De Xi just hummed in response.

" Jiu, please pick my dress from the G.E. workshop while coming " De Xi said while hanging up, Cheng Jiu was not shocked after she got to know that all the kids from Lu, De, Li and Su family study over here, she understood the reason for such a weird request.

While coming back Cheng Jiu bought breakfast from the restaurant down, it was a simple british brunch. It had a cherry cheese cake and fried bacon with Americano. She exited the elevator to find Chen Gao in front of De Xi's door. She started walking towards him and said " is there something you need sir " She asked in a cold tone, she doesn't know why but she never liked this guy.

" oh! Executive Secretary Cheng, what a pleasant surprise, how come you are here this early. " Chen Gao was surprised to meet Cheng Jiu out, as a curtsy he greeted her with pleasantries, he sort of admired her for the way she can manage to threaten other Executive Secretaries even just with her presence. " well, shouldn't it be me who should ask you this question " Cheng Jiu continued in a cold tone.

" well.. I'm here because Master wanted me to deliver this to Madam " Chen Gao showed Cheng Jiu the bag he was holding. " and why would your Master want to give this to my Madam " Cheng Jiu asked in questioning tone. "well, this is between a couple, how will I know, my job is to deliver it to Madam and that is it " Chen Gao said it in a very respectful tone. 

" I'll have it delivered you may leave Executive Secretary Chen " saying this Cheng Jiu took the bag from his hand, swiped her card and entered with the stuff. She closed the door behind her and walked towards the dining table to set up the dishes. After doing it she went inside the room and called out for De Xi " Madam, brunch is already set on the table, please come and have it. And Madam Executive Secretary Chen left a bag for you, saying CEO Lu asked it to be delivered to you " Cheng Jiu said in a dutiful voice.

" that's fine Jiu, come lets have brunch " saying this De Xi got up and walked out of the room. They together ate the brunch and after that Cheng Jiu asked for a room service, before leaving for her room. It was already 1 in the evening when the room servicing was done. After they left, Cheng Jiu entered and said " Madam before the appointment with Ms.Chang, we have a meeting scheduled with Li Corporation. It will start in half an hour " saying this Cheng Jiu waited for any further orders.

De Xi nodded as she got up and said " please prepare the agenda in next 20 minutes, saying this she entered the bathroom to shower. Cheng Jiu nodded and left, after 10 minutes De Xi came out, her hair wet, she opened the dressing table to search for a hair dryer, but was not able to find it. She took the phone and dialed Cheng Jiu asking her to arrange for a hair dryer.

De Xi who is a internationally recognized lady not just in single field but in enumerated fields. She is a dream woman for all the men not only inside the nation but also outside the nation as well.

But destiny already bounded her in the relationship called marriage and is also gifted with two beautiful and charming children, but this beauty also has a problem no human would want to have...

Liya washed the dishes while Axel tucked Jacob in bed.

"Can I really call you Daddy even though I'm not your son?"

Axel gave him a small smile and nod. "Of course."

"Then, will you live with us from now on? You're now my Daddy. Kids stay where their parents are. But Mommy said you're her friend, not husband. Only husband and wife live together. But you're my Daddy. Why don't you be husband and wife with my Mommy, Daddy?"

Amused, Axel ruffled his hair. "We have to get married first before your Mommy and Daddy become husband and wife. Will you help me?"

Jacob, of course, nodded excitedly.

"Go to sleep, little man." Axel turned off the bedside lamp and exited the room while closing the door.

He saw Liya fixing the books scattered on the couch in the living room. Picking up a book, he read the title and saw the words MOLECULAR BIOLOGY in big bold letters.

He asked. "Biology?"

"Oh. It's not mine, it's Jacob's." Axel was a bit confused but he already had an idea.

"He's...advanced. We had him undergo a test and his result came up with an IQ of 156."

He nodded. It's just what he thought.

"Jacob's father might've been a genius too. Although I'm not sure since I don't know who his father is." She opened up to Axel. She intended to talk about it to him tonight.

They both sat down and Liya began to explain.

"I had him on my 18th birthday. I went out with my then boyfriend and friends to party. I got very drunk so I could only remember bits and pieces, even until now. The next thing I remember was waking up in a hotel room thinking I was with my boyfriend but it wasn't him. I don't have any clue to who the man was. Liem used his connections to access the cctv feed but that certain day was already wiped. They couldn't recover it. It didn't matter to me though because I loved Jacob despite how he came to be."

What a jerk. Axel thought. But thanks to that jerk, a treasure like Jacob was born. And thanks to that jerk being a coward, Liya didn't have a husband.

"I understand. The thing about Jacob calling me Daddy, I don't really mind it. In fact, I quite like it." He smiled at her. He really liked Jacob.

"Thank you. He has only asked me once about his father and never again. But I know he still wanted a Daddy despite not saying it. He really is a very sweet boy, always caring for his Mommy." She choked on her last sentence, fighting off the emotions that wanted to break free. Not a lot of things can move Liya, but Jacob was her weakness.

"Shh, it's okay. C'mere." Axel made her sit on his lap, straddling him. He tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear while wiping off her tears. Liya hugged him, her head on his shoulder, while Axel left gentle pats on her back.

When she finally calmed down, she realized how awkward the position they're in. She could feel little Axel poking her down there. She pulled back from the hug, blushing, and tried to get off him. But Axel didn't let go of her waist.

"I missed you." He said, his voice husky, causing her to blush even more.

"I missed you too." She replied, biting her lower lip.

That was all Axel needed to hear before he smacked his mouth against hers. His tongue savored every inch, tasting her sweet flavor. He sucked her tongue, making her moan. Her moan instantly made his d*ck rock hard. He grinded his raging hard-on to Liya's p*ssy.

Axel was left alone on the couch, his d*ck as hard as ever. He was actually serious when he offered to help her wash up. He sighed, mentally reciting the value of Pi, to divert his mind from the sound of Liya's moans and her face when she came.

Beautiful. He thought. Especially when Liya's lips parted a bit when she came. Imagining her little mouth wrapped around his pen*s while she pleaded with him almost made him come.

"Mmhh, what a good morning indeed." Axel commented. Liya just giggled again.

"Hey, that's not fair." The two saw Jacob pouting. Why did he only get a kiss on the cheek?

"Jacob, you should only kiss someone's lips if you want to marry the person. So from now on, Mommy's lips only belong to me. Understand?" Axel explained to the little child, his tone was serious but his eyes contained mirth.

Jacob nodded. "Got it, Daddy!"

"Save your lips for the right girl, alright?"

"Okay, Daddy! I'll keep it in mind."

"Good boy." Axel praised him and the little kid earned another pat on his head.

These are some of the popular novels which we know. Each of them is very unique in it's own way and have become popular in it's own right. It would be incorrect to call them a failure, as they have correctly captured their intended audience – the Japanese teenage audience. However, when thinking about a broad perspective, these novel become obsolete when it competes on a global level with other web novels, and the majority of the reason for their deficiency is simple – the Protagonist in these novels is a typical Japanese light novel protagonist, who is naïve and a dumb virgin idiot. It is as if he has never received any sex education, and would always talk some naïve things which do not match with his current situation. Their behavior is somewhat correct given that these protagonists are usually high school kids, but the readers have difficulty accepting such an immature protagonist.

Web novels are about accumulating wealth, women and power. So when a reader reads the protagonist behaving like a dumb virgin when a girl approaches him, or when he does not actively seek wealth and power, the reader is bound to get angry and disappointed.

A good example can be found in the following example :

In Tsuki ga Michibiku, the Protagonist Makoto establishes a business half-heartedly, and his business is more like charity to the hyumans, the same hyumans the majority of whom treat him like sh*t and had killed his subordinates. Instead of developing his Asora realm, where we might have enjoyed him developing a realm and being a king or even god, he keeps roaming throughout the world unnecessarily.

Also, he had two beautiful subordinates who are eager to have sex with him, but apparently he sees them as 'sisters' or 'family', so he cannot do that. (Perhaps he has not read any incest hentai, or heard of Kiss X Sis)

Note that this is not just about sex, as there was a very broad scope for plot development in Tsuki ga Michibiku. For example, Makoto could have properly developed the Asora realm, showing us some world building and kingdom building. He could even have married Tomoe and Mio and their kids would have been demi gods who would do various mischiefs in the hyuman realm. There might have even been wars of Asora vs hyumans.

In short, the Japanese protagonists have disappointing characteristics on a global scale, and are not entertaining to read.

* SOLUTION FOR ALL THIS…

Japanese isekai novels have good would building (from light novel and web novel perspective), and this fact cannot be ignored.

My idea is simple, that is to write a fan fiction of a pre-existing light novel or use the basic ideas and rewrite the novel, the only change being the utterly virgin protagonist. The protagonist would simply be 'de-virginized' and re-introduced. This change might seem small but actually opens up a lot of routes for novel writing. (as in Tsuki ga Michibiku example)

The protagonists in these isekai novels are already powerful, and if they are re-written of as being mature, smart and driven by ambition, then they would become warlords, making the story even more interesting to read.

A. What's the purpose of this chapter?
First, this happens:

The 3 soft logouts:
1. Logout through the player menu

This is to give players a heads up on how much time has passed. Players can choose to turn this feature off.

This hints players that they might need these in reality as well. Players can choose to turn this feature off.

The 2 hard logouts:
1. 4 hours of consecutive in-game time
You were given a 30 minutes countdown! You had your heads up!
Go stretch for a moment. Eat something. Drink something. Use the washroom. It doesn't take much time!
2. When a player's body reaches a threshold
Whether it's dehydration, hunger, sleepiness, or the need to use the bathroom
The Hidden Logout Mechanism: 
If a player crashes the game somehow, then that player is logged out immediately. Similar to what happens to cheaters in PUBG. They get booted and banned. 

C. Enhancement
Enhancement in the game <World of Gemcraft> is like injecting water into a water balloon. 
The enhancement is the water, fixated at certain amounts at each enhancement level and type.
The item is like the water balloon. 
Higher tier items are bigger balloons, able to contain more water. 
If the water balloon is able to hold the water in the end, then the enhancement is a success.
If not, then the water balloon bursts, and the item breaks.
The blacksmith is the guy handling the water and the water balloon. 
In John's situation, enhancing a free grey shirt, made of the cheapest material, should be like injecting a tiny little water balloon with 500 mL of water.
It didn't generate an error during the first enhancement. Fine. Maybe with a lot of skill and luck, under special conditions, using special items, it's possible.
But how do you explain a small water balloon holding 2 liters of water?
This is not skills. This is an error! This should never happen.
So the following will run according to the logic of the gaming system:
Player GodMode233 has equipped a new grey shirt.
How should this enhanced grey shirt interact with the environment?
Calculating. This item exceeds the boundaries set for this item. Parameters are now in conflict.
It's like saying x is bigger than five in one statement.
But another statement over there says x is smaller than one at the same time. 
And x must exist. So the program does not know what the result is. 
But we need defined results!
So errors are generated. Conclusion: this is a flawed item that should not exist.
But the item exists! 
So how should this enhanced grey shirt interact with the environment?

And so, the system loops again and again until the run time hits a threshold. 
In the end, John gets booted out of the game. A report is sent. John gets perma-banned. Happily ever after. 

D. Attributes and Stats
Intelligence, Charisma, and Willpower got removed after the game broke.
1. Agility (accuracy of body control, balance, quicker body reaction to thoughts, movement speed, stamina efficiency)
For example, there is a baseball hurling towards a player.
The player with low agility:
Eyes: I see it!
Brain: hand, you got this!
Hand: I'm on it!
Face: Ah! My face! Guys... I caught it...
The player with high agility:
Eyes: I see its trajectory. 
Brain: Easy one. Hand, you got this!
Hand: No probl-
Head: Sorry guys. I flinched and dodged it. 
It is very unlikely for players with high agility to accidentally stab their nose with a straw.
2. Strength (damage multiplier, speed limit, the ability to carry weight (ex. heavy armor)
So if players do accidentally stab their nose with a straw, players with higher strength take more damage
3. Constitution (damage reduction, health total, regeneration, stamina total, tenacity, strength limit)
After players accidentally stab their nose with a straw, players with higher constitution take less damage and regenerate faster

E. Identity
Usually, when players buy an identity, they get an exclusive background story about the character in detail.
In game, the system helps the players identify characters they should know. Also, information about the relationship this NPC and the player, and the NPC's background information are given.
In John's case, he gets none of this help. 
There are 2 possible causes.
1. After the game reset, some items are removed, and players who own those items get a refund. 
John lost his developer drone. The drone had NULL for value. So the system got confused and had no idea how much of what to give to John. Basically a NULL Pointer error. 
What's the NULL Pointer error?
It's basically insisting on ordering a big mac at White Spot. Things can turn real messy.
2. The conversion of the developer character model to the normal player model. 
Shouldn't be possible. But it happened. 

F. So these are the background information in the early chapters. 
I won't add any background information regarding later chapters. Some readers like spoilers, some don't. 
So any background information chapter will look like (Mechanism: Bala Bala)
But then again, if you don't care about the background mechanisms, you wouldn't read up to here. 
And those who actually don't care... they can figure it out later, right?

Monday
Anna awoke in the hospital bed wrapped in Hou YI's arms, as she attempted to ease herself to head to the bathroom, she woke Hou Yi up.
He leant over and gave Anna a kiss on the lips but before she let it get too passionate, she pulled back and quietly said "Darling, remember where we are. Plus I need to use the bathroom."
Hou Yi, allowed Anna to move out of his arms and head to the bathroom. As Anna was entering the bathroom there was a knock on the door, and in came one of the nursing staff, followed by a bodyguard who was bringing in bags and newspapers. Indicating his wife was in the bathroom the nurse, he turned to the bodyguard, taking the bags and the newspapers. He sat the bags down and headed to the couch and sat the newspapers out on the table.
The front-page headlines were telling, even at first glance. However, before he could start reading, he heard noise behind him, and the nurse had settled Anna back on the bed, and was taking her observations.
Once the nurse finished, she quietly said "Madam Hou, that is starting to look better. Your obstetrician will be in just before 9am, so we will arrange for breakfast to be brought in for the two of you."
Hou Yi sat on the bed with his wife, gently taking her in his arms, before she spoke "Thank you."
Once the nurse left, Hou Yi quietly asked "How do you feel. Tell me the truth please, as you scared me yesterday."
"Yi so much better than yesterday. I still feel tired but having that video-conference with Phillipa last night has made things easier." With that Anna twisted and gave Hou Yi a brief kiss.
"Promise me that you are not going to let things get to you like they did. You heard Pip, if you cannot contact the counsellor that she arranged, call her and speak to her."
"Yi, I did not want to …"
In a firm but not harsh voice "Sweetheart, as she told you, you will have setbacks. You know that is reality as well from your work. Most importantly you know I am here; I love you and will do anything to help you. But I am not a mind reader. I can observe things, but I cannot always tell when you need help."
"I know Yi…"
There was a knock on the door and breakfast was brought in and sat down at the table near the couch.
As they moved over to eat breakfast, Anna located the television remote, and turned it on before searching for a news channel. The lead story for her was not surprising, the excesses of Lu Jingho. While factual, they soon moved into a panel discussion about the story.
Hou Yi was watching Anna carefully, seeing how she reacted. As Hou YI had paused eating Anna turned to him, before saying "Yi, calm down I am OK. I just want to see what they have to say, and I am going to read the papers after that."
Anna turned her attention back to the television and started listening to the panel discussion about the allegations against Lu Jingho. Anna was engrossed in what they were saying, which was universally condemning him, but at the same time the journalists were careful to phrase their comments on the basis of "if the allegations can be proven".
Anna found it highly interesting as a means of seeing the difference between the legal system here and in Australia. Criminals were afforded more protection by the law, but at the same time, the whole basis for the legal system was different.
Hou Yi rather than solely focusing on the television, started reading the newspapers. The stories under the headlines matched the articles. Like the debate on the television he could see that the written press were as condemning of Lu JIngho as they were. Hou Yi in considering everything realised that he had no idea of the extent of Lu Jingho's behaviour. Blackmailing his son, abusing children, threatening his ex-wife, misusing company resources, trying to blackmail him, harassing Anna. What else was to come out? Hopefully he will agree to plead to the charges to save people having to give evidence.
One comment made in the television debate made Hou Yi stop. "The only thing that might save him and the Lu Corporation will depend on how many of the alleged victims can be compensated for the acts against them, and the charges not pursued?"


Anna Jones, an Australian travelled with her fiancé Lu Jinhu to marry in his home country, only to find out that she has been duped by him and robbed of everything that she owns. Sure, you can call them superheroes if you must, but they are not that. They are like you and me, expect in their world ordinary is anything but.

People call them EXO users.

People think being an EXO user means you would be treated like a king no matter where you go. What they don't know is that even EXO users are classified into ranks. Based on your rank depends on how you are treated in the world.

Sure it may be possible to increase your rank based on achievements, but that can only get you so far. What you were born with you cannot change. Thus no matter how hard you try, you can only go so far with your EXO.

EXO's can be classified into three different types. Offensive. Defensive. Support. Each has their own perks and limitations, but supports have it the hardest as they don't specialize in either offense or defense. Yet they are the most versatile.

What is an EXO? An EXO is a unique trait or ability that a person awakens somewhere between the ages five and thirteen. The earlier you awaken an EXO, the higher the talent you have.

Countless kids want to have one because having one is a symbol of status. Even if it is a weak one, you are still better than ordinary humans.

Today like every other year marks the start of the school year. The beginning of a new story is just about to begin.

EXO users go to a specialized school to hone their abilities, but even their schools have rankings. A person does not pick their school; they are instead chosen to attend one. The only ones who may pick their school are those with S ranked EXO's.

How does one determine an EXO rank? When you reach the age of fourteen, you may take an exam. This exam happens once every year at the end of the year. The testee will stand in front of twelve examiners who will ask them to display their EXO ability.

After showcasing their ability, they are asked to place their hands on the essence reader. The essence reader will decide the growth rate of the essence within their body.

Based on the growth rate given and the ability shown it is then used to decide the starting rank of the EXO and the possible rank.

An invitation is given to the test taker to join one of the schools used to train EXO users.

Three hundred years ago multiple meteors broke into earth's atmosphere and landed in various places. The meteors change the world. By releasing strange substances into the earth, air, and water the planet started to change. It was not until ten years later that the first batch of superhumans was born. They had abilities that could not be explained. Superspeed. Superstrength. Magic. The superhumans showed the world that all of it was possible. They called the abilities EXO and the people who wielded such an ability, EXO users.

They quickly found out that not every EXO was the same. One EXO user had one EXO ability and what that ability was could be categorized into one of three types. Offensive, Defensive or Support.

The government was the first to act after five years. Every EXO user must be subjected to whole new laws and they must get their abilities under control. Specialized schools were built all across the world that were made to train them. Under the pretense of saying it was to develop their abilities, the government was actually building an army. Humans were not the only ones to change…
