/ Urban / The Billionaire's Sick Wife
概要
A poor girl born with congenital heart disease has not had much hope for the future, but her life takes a sharp turn when a wealthy, handsome man proposes marriage to her following her heart transplant.
It was the most surprising thing to happen to her in her 22 years of life.
Abigail had never thought that Christopher Sherman, a young, multibillionaire businessman, would approach her and express his desire to marry her.
She was ecstatic and accepted his proposal. But little did she know that the 32-year-old handsome guy had a secret reason for wanting to marry her.
Abigail stepped into his world with a lot of hope in her heart. But marrying him was not the happy ending. It was just the beginning.
Will she be able to keep her heart from breaking? What will happen if she discovers his true motive?
=============
"Life was easy before I married you," said Abigail with pain in her eyes. “I was dying, but I was happy.”
“What do you mean?” Christopher clasped her arm. “Stop talking nonsense and eat the medicine,” he hissed, placing a tablet in her palm.
Under his fiery gaze, Abigail cowered.
"Do you find it difficult to meet my demand for a baby? It has been two years, Christopher."
He didn’t answer her question. All he did was stare at her, acting mute.
“Why do I feel like you don’t care about my feelings?” Abigail asked. “Don’t you love me?”
His silence was the clear answer.

レビューを書くHave read all the chapters available so far, 13, and am loving this book so far. I actually planned on not reading it right now, as i have a few others I'm working on, but looked at the first chapter and got hooked! Very few grammar or writing mistakes, maybe 1 so far. Good flow to the story so far. Good characters and dynamics. I am reading another book by the same author (Accidentally Married to a Billionaire) and have loved it so far (over 400 chapters in). Will update my review when I have finished reading the completed book or if I end up not liking it later on.
This story is pretty good. Enjoyed it from the frist point. It has potential like the theme of Queen's return. Good plot. I like the writing style. Quite easy, simple and smooth for understanding. This book is great. Great work author. Will carry out with it.
Ninety some chapters later, and I can't believe I'm still here. 🙃 Sometimes, I yell and get upset over the characters. Yet, I always come back and await for more! Because deep down I 🧡 it! Give it a try and see exactly what I'm talking about. I know you will love it too! 🥰😁🤩
Only read a few chapters and am already kinda addicted to this book 😆😆... Just wanna say, author your book is amazing 😊
As long as it’s our favorite author then we are good to go because we trust her with her work so far am loving the novel it’s heart warming as I read am happy sad and smiling at the same time🥰😚🥲continue with the good work our lovely author🫶❤️
I don't know if its's actually a spoiler or not, but 3 chapters in and I think that the heart Abigail got was from the woman Christopher loved. This is the only plausible explanation for his behaviour.
Bravo author! Bravo. What an interesting book. Each chapter is very worth reading and interesting. [img=recommend][img=recommend] For readers looking for really good books, this is the one. I highly recommend ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
A good and enjoyable story so far, 😍 only a few chapters in but can't be put down, [img=recommend] it will be interesting to see how it plays out between Christopher and Abigail ❤
[img=recommend] Wonderful book, I must say. The synopsis alone was enough to make me engage in the story. The emotions were very well felt. And the provided mystery of the story gives the thrill of unraveling. It's great work so far. To anyone out there, don't hesitate to read this one. Good job author and thanks for sharing your story. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This has been a unique book! I love it! It's almost two books in one! it keeps you engrossed and wanting more than than the two daily chapters. AND I love it when the author acknowledges each and every comment. It shows how much the author values her readers.
I really like this novel. Finally a ML who even though cold at first warmed up to FL. The character development of every character is really nice and I like how the ml didn't turn abusive towards fl like most novels. Made my day after reading another toxic novel before this .😊😊
"The Billionaire's Sick Wife" is a captivating romance novel that delves into themes of love, sacrifice, and resilience. The heart-wrenching story of the billionaire and his ailing wife is beautifully woven with emotional depth and poignant moments. Readers will be swept away by the tender moments of love and the characters' unwavering devotion to each other. A compelling read that will tug at your heartstrings and leave you rooting for love to conquer all.
love this book very much, but only my opinion I do not like when a book exceeds 700 chapters, but overall a very good book enjoying it very much
This is author 's 3rd novel I'm reading. What I like most is the characters are relatable though he/she may be wealthy. The challenges in the relationship is also real and relatable hence making the novel easy to follow. That's author's strength. I just hope it's not too much longer as i like to binge read esp on weekends. Id'd like to see FL get up and fight for territory and not allowing others to dictate her life- not even ML (who, at this point I'm reading is still typically dense male😏)

Ten chapters in, and I have tons of questions and want to know more! 🩷 I like that the ml is mentally stable and seems well balanced. He knows what he wants and is not afraid to say it. At least he is so far. 🤷
