章 125: Dinner Invitation

When Abigail came out of the bathroom, she saw him sitting on the sofa sullenly, reading a business magazine. She was now feeling better and wanted to go home.

Abigail had spent so much time in the hospital that she didn't want to be there any longer.

"I want to go home," she demanded.

"The doctor has advised you to stay here tonight." When he spoke, he didn't take his gaze away from the magazine.

She snorted and sat down on the bed dejectedly. "All they care about is making money. Why should I stay here when I'm fine? If I develop discomfort later, I will return for a check-up."

She started whining. When she noticed he was not paying attention to her, she grew irritated.

"Give me my phone." She extended her hand to him.

He took a look at her hand. "I don't have your phone."

He flipped the page and kept reading.

"You don't have my phone with you! Can you tell me where it is?" She was astounded.
