Author has quite a broad vision for his story la. It starts off exciting and action-packed in the first chapter! And just when you were like, "AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH! Noooooo!" The reader is left guessing, and then, "Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!" I was cheering for the main character la. But ai yah. He will be so rich la. Highly recommend for those with adventurous mind. I gib perfect 5 for good form, world building and character adventure!

The MC is brain dead and the none of the characters show him any respect despite him being the count regent. What's worse is, the MC doesn't even mind the way they treat him. The side characters only exist to second guess and question each and every decision/order of the MC to the point where it makes me question who the count is. They simply treat him like a commoner. And they are all as brain dead as MC to boot. They call a race that battles ferocious monsters in they island all their life 'inferior to humans' and cannot accept the fact that someone from such a race can have higher potential than a human. And then, after the guy proves himself by winning on spar they start fangirling him like he is the most popular host in a host club. The MC doesn't mind all these things but when his older brother calmly explains to him that his mother cant take over his responsibilities because she is a commoner(he meant no harm, he cares a lot about the MC and was only trying to make the MC understand coz he is a pompous 12 year old brat despite the fact that he is supposed to be mentally a lot older). And once even mentions starting a rebellion against capital in public for no real reason.

I don't have any issues with the quality of the writing, or even the basics of the character design. The parts I have an issue with are character development, pacing, and weirdly enough, lack of exposition (which impacts the pacing issue). There is a noticeable lack of atmospheric elements that makes the story pacing feel too fast, like you're reading a bunch of "and then" bullet points. I am at chapter 28 and it has been a year or so in the story and we have moved past the introductory arc and into a school arc. We don't really have a good description or feel for the world he is in, his past life, the kingdom he lives in, or even the city he is supposed to be in control of and the people he is supposed to rule. There are no side conversations by onlookers, street encounters, sales clerks, servants. Characters are introduced out of nowhere with a name and a single action and that's it. the MC summons characters from random places and they just come, and then become background. No real explanation or feel for why they decided to accept, or feel for the personality. It makes the introduction of new characters jarring and feel random. One other thing bugs me, it keeps mentioning the game is in Beta and already has a Beta update. Where are the players? what are the devs doing? what about his friends and past self, since he seems to have gone back in time? Also, as a useful tool but not a necessity, character/attribute screens would be a nice way to get to know the capabilities of the characters. for example the shadow carbuncle teleported that swordsman guy to a mountain out of the city, but the only named skill we have seen from it is "veil of night" which puts up a globe of darkness.

I'm not sure the best way to put it, but the way this is written feels... almost childish? Like, not trying to be mean, but everything from prose to dialogue gives an impression of ungrounded naivety. While not bad, perse, there is a noticeable greenhouse feel to the MC and cardboard cutout feel to every other character. Also needs a little more spice in the background and setting departments. If those things can balance out and improve, this could potentially turn into a fairly decent story.

Pretty interesting concept and I think it'd be a fun read. The first chap, admittedly, was a little confusing and disorienting. The flow of the action was also a little off, probably due to the pacing and excessive input of details in the middle of an action scene. HOWEVER, it does get better by the 2nd chapter. This is the start of his new life and the introduction to the ACTUAL set-up of the story (which was far more interesting than the loose exposition that was the 1st chapter). Also, there seems to be a lot of world-building and kingdom-building going on here and I loveeee those tropes. An over all good read.

A really good story to read. The MC has clear goals, the fight scenes great, the support characters likeable…. Overall really good to spend time on this story. The only negative point to mention is a history of poor updates or haitus for various stories. Likelyhood of updates again?…. Er *peeks at other works by this author*…. Unlikely.

So far so good, chapters are very vivid and immersive. However, the author has a grand history of dropping novels, so I pray and hope that this novel wouldn't met it premature demise. After all, I don't want to see a good novel be buried alive because of author's inconsistency.
