Synopsis

Now this....this is a true breath of fresh air. I admit that as I slog through these endless stories plagued with writing I would be generous to call amateur, I have developed a certain preconception regarding the quality of stories available on this website. But this? This has truly humbled me. The writing is easily several leagues above most of the popular power fantasies that litter this site. The atmosphere and emotion depicted is crisp and to the point. Honestly, I would put the quality of writing over even most published paper-back young adult fiction. The transition to Henry Ortega's encounter with the apologetic killer was amazing. The closing paragraph of the prologue leaved me wanting more. Phenomenal work.
I'm really compelled by horror and thrillers so this was definitely up my alley! Writing Quality: The author has a forceful way of making compelling scenes. Incredible storytelling with generosity given to the reader using fleeceable vocabulary. Story Development: The story is well-organized and a lot of the decisions made by characters both protag- and antag- have meaning. Emotional rollercoasters, are the only explainable metaphor, as you'll never have a dull moment in this series. Character Design: In my opinion, all the characters in the series are humanified in some way. Some show greed, wrath, compassion, or sympathy that give the reader a connection whether they're someone you've grown to hate or love. World Background: The world is personified well, and is deeply engaging as I can see myself in the Lost Continent along with the characters of the series. Excellent imagery and personification by Easy_Tiger. An excellent read for those interested in a thriller, action-packed adventure with tons of danger around every corner!
A hidden gem that shines with darkness captivating its audience the more you read, sending a shiver down your spine at the dark writing style. The action is fantastic, the characters interesting, and I don't just mean the main one. While there is some spelling error, nothing is lost and could be easily fixed. I really look forward to more releases.

Oh god. This novel is freaking awesome. The chapters are nicely named, the prologue, even though it was an info-dump, was written so well that it didn't feel like that at all. The writing quality is superb, and I loved how everything created a sense of tension, from the first chapter. The only things I'd suggest to change are the words "A few years from now". Usually, these words aren't used for describing something that is already happening (in the story timeline, the future is the present), so perhaps change it to something like "In the year 20XX". Just a suggestion, though. Otherwise, great work!

It's like watching Godfather but a whole another level of action. This might be the best mafia book I have ever read (not only in webnovel). The intense fight scenes are very well written. It is a movie, a blockbuster movie. It me feel like John Wick at the beginning but is way more than that. This book portrays the emotions of a hitman and we, readers can experience it like we are in that story. A brilliant piece of work!!!!!!

First of all, this is definitely staying in my library... Secondly, this book is "The Book". Those kind of books that an ordinary noob author like myself would spend a couple of years drafting out before exposing it to public view here on Webnovel, but I am sure there author did not spend that long. Action, thrill and all is definitely my cup of tea and how perfectly did the author of this work put it all together; like a Mozart piece. And if you are a fan of detailed description you should give this book a try.Wanna know why? Because this book gives a description that is NOT boring in any way. The storyline is top-notch, I got intrigued from merely reading the synopsis. Then the prologue is the lengthiest I've come across yet. But who ever said the prologue had to be short? This author is the kind that makes you open your mind to an array of possibilities. So, trust that he has a great deal in store. The writing style is authentic, and alluring the eyes. You just gotta keep reading. Updating stability is alright. And the premise of the world background is pretty good to me, I love how the prologue told us vividly, what happened in past times, and thrills our minds to anticipate the rest of the story flow, of course it followed immediately with present time with no need to dilly-dally thus wasting more precious time. Wow just wow. There aren't many books that can leave me speechless but this one is the newest ace in the deck. I am absolutely amazed at how well you express the characters thoughts and emotions. Most writers have issues expressing emotions in regular books and yet you expressed them effortlessly and in a Martial arts book no less. The fact that the plot is complex makes me love this even more. Most books nowadays are plagued with simplistic, used up, predictable plots that leave me bored. This story had me glued to it for an hour with no breaks. It just had me wanting more and more of it. Absolutely brilliant.
I was pretty shaken up by that first chapter, which was pretty ruthless and brutal but it introduced the story's personality, which was bloody and not for the weak-minded. I like that there's good writing quality and character design. The detail and hook really brought me in and were quite amazing! The potential I see in this novel is high and I can foresee that it will be a fantastic, one-of-a-kind story.
