I read good portion into the book by my suspension of disbelief can only carry me so far. It is fascinating how everyone in the book asks the dumbest questions for exposition. All main characters seem to be naieve and lack any sceptisim when it comes to the "game world" or how the Alex got OP abilities. Characters feel so lifeless especially Alex. I can't speak for the whole book because I had to stop reading.
I like the story so far. using history as a base for a story is always interesting. excited to see where it goes.
Not that unusual Java is actually a tree then remember that professor oak exists.
