Inspecting all the weapons a mercenary company owns can take a gruelling amount of time. Opening boxes, checking data with data, looking for contraband, counting loose bullets and trophies of war.

Fortunately I had nothing to do with that. It had been three hours and Kathrine, the centurion Hailey and I Have been drinking chatting and making merry the whole time. "Ok Aunty, you don't need to throw the knife so hard that it goes through the board. This is the last one. Just aim better and you wont need so much power."

"Hush darling, I'm concentrating." Unlike myself, Kathrine had not improved at the game much these past hours. In result, she missed her first two throws. "Oh sod it." She whispered underneath her breath and threw the knife with enough power, thanks to her family's psionic enhancements, that it cleaved the board in twain.
