Aside from that, the Wood Spirit Constitution could also enable a plant to grow without requiring specific environments. As long as there was nourishment from the spiritual energy, the plants were then able to survive.

Xu Nan nearly gave herself a couple of slaps on the face. She touched a raw nerve, when in fact, she said it without thinking because that was her idea.
"He really is fickle. When he was in high school, I remembered that his dream was to join a religion that allows polygamy," Zhang Yunxi said in all seriousness.
Her words immediately caused all the other women's eyes to brighten up, though they soon concealed that sparkle.
Each of them had their own thoughts in mind and consciously began to change the subject. Despite that, their meaningful interaction allowed them to become closer and closer to each other. Soon, they were as close as a group of sisters.
At that moment, Ouyang Qing let out a cry and pointed to a direction in the sea.
There, a fin was exposed above the surface of the sea and was swimming fast.
"Ah, a shark!" It was only natural that everyone recognized such an iconic creature.
"It's not uncommon for sharks to appear here, as long as they don't attack us," Xu Nan said.
However, contrary to her words, the shark was clearly approaching the island.

Besides, it turned its body and lifted both paws to claw at the shark!
Its strength was so strong that the shark's snout had been resoundingly slapped to one side. Then, it delivered a merciless bite to the shark's fin!
At the same time, Little Gray went for the back and grasped the shark's tail firmly with its wolf paws, ravaging it with a violent bite!
Blood immediately stained the entire sea.

Noah was unaware that three cultivators from the Crystal City had followed him into the forest. He had predicted that Zach and his organization wouldn't leave him alone, but he didn't expect them to catch up with him so soon.
After all, Noah had plenty of experience covering his tracks, and he didn't stop running for entire weeks before settling to cultivate.
Noah continued to avoid every powerful being sensed by his consciousness as he ran through the forest. Some of those presences belonged to magical plants, but he never had the chance to study them as he did his best to leave the area under Crystal City's jurisdiction.
His travel through the forest went smoothly. He didn't meet any problem during his exploration, but the scenery in his vision didn't change even after a few more months passed.
The forest seemed endless. It made sense for the Immortal Lands' environments to be wider, but he didn't expect that a single region could take entire months to cross.
Still, Noah never stopped moving. The heavy aura that covered the environment stirred his black hole to work faster and redirect most of its energy toward his body.
Noah was moving quickly. Ordinary rank 7 cultivators in the gaseous stage wouldn't match his speed unless they used movement techniques, but Noah guessed that they couldn't release much energy in that environment.
Yet, his belief shattered when he sensed a series of presences entering the range of his consciousness.
Surprise filled Noah's mind when he sensed those presences. They vanished after a second, but he could understand their nature during that time. They weren't living beings. They radiated the unmistakable aura of a spell.
'Did they find me?' Noah immediately guessed as he accelerated.
The chance that other cultivators lived in that environment was relatively low, and the likelihood that they had used spells when surrounded by the heavy aura was even lower.
The cultivator who had cast that spell was looking for something, and it was too coincidental that the technique vanished once it touched Noah's consciousness.
Noah ran at full speed. His black hole poured even more energy into his body and filled his dark vessels with dark matter. He became even faster due to that empowerment, but he still failed in shaking off his pursuers.
A series of ghostly wolves appeared in front of him at some point. Those creatures were identical to each other, but a horizontal black line cut them in half before they could howl at Noah.
The Demonic Sword had landed in Noah's hand as soon as the creatures appeared, and Noah didn't hesitate to slash at them. His attack also landed on some trees, but it didn't manage to sever their thick trunks.
The ghostly wolves began to disperse, but Noah jumped past them without even observing their end. He couldn't study his opponent's ability with the heavy aura being a constant threat in that environment.
Noah continued to run until the ground morphed in front of his eyes. Tall weapons came out of the terrain and tried to stab him. Dodging them made Noah slow down, but he persevered in his escape.
'They must be nearby,' Noah thought as he sensed that peculiar aura again.
The attacks that had appeared in front of him exuded the power of the gaseous stage. Noah knew that his pursuers had to be inside the range of his consciousness. However, he couldn't pinpoint their exact location due to their concealing method.
Transparent bubbles fell from the trees at some point. They shone with an azure light when the sky illuminated them, but they appeared empty. Yet, Noah could sense that they contained an immense amount of energy.
Noah tried to dodge the bubbles, but they released intense waves of energy when they exploded on the terrain. He couldn't escape those shockwaves, but his body managed to endure them without suffering grave injuries.
His priority remained to escape, but his mind began to analyze those attacks and their influence on the environment. There was something off in that situation. He couldn't explain how his pursuers could ignore the aura of the leader of the forest.
If his pursuers came from the Crystal City, they had to know the forest and had an idea about its dangerousness. The fact that they launched attacks so uncaringly hinted that the leader of the area wouldn't bother to intervene in those battles.
'They might also be complete idiots,' Noah thought as he continued to dodge attacks and wave his blade to press forward.
Underestimating opponents was a deadly flaw, but overestimating them could lead to similar awful outcomes. Noah respected those who had managed to reach the divine ranks, but the Immortal Lands had already shown him that he couldn't apply his values in that world.
Noah had understood that when he threatened Miss Canson. She was at his same level, but she appeared less experienced than all the powerhouses met in his life.
The natives of the Immortal Lands would have an easier path toward the higher ranks, especially if they had powerful backings. They would never suffer from a lack of knowledge about the ranks, and the environment around them was a paradise for cultivators.
Those favorable conditions often gave birth to idiots, but Noah couldn't bet on that just yet. He continued to run through the forest and waited for something to change.
Three different abilities converged on his position at some point. Ghostly wolves appeared in the distance and started to run toward him. Various weapons came out of the ground and tried to pierce him with their sharp side. Bubbles fell from the trees and released shockwaves that destabilized him.
Noah was ready to slash his way through those spells, but more of them appeared in his vision before he could perform his martial art. A single attack wouldn't be able to pierce them, so Noah felt forced to stop to take care of them.
Black lines flew under the trees' crowns as Noah attacked those abilities. The wolves and weapons weren't a problem since his sharpness could cut them, but the bubbles exploded even if he destroyed them before they touched the ground.
Shockwaves swept Noah and made blood accumulate in his mouth. He had suffered a few light internal injuries during the escape, and he immediately identified the cultivator behind that ability as the main threat.
Three figures appeared above him after he stopped. Noah could sense the peculiar aura again, but that concealing method couldn't hide his opponents from his awareness when they were so close.
Noah recognized Zach among the trio, and his eyes sharpened when he inspected his companions. The purple designs on their white robes revealed who was behind those abilities, and Noah immediately fixed his on the overweight woman.
"We meet again," Zach announced as he gazed toward Noah.
"How did you find me so soon?" Noah asked as he prepared for the imminent battle. "How can you not fear the leader of the forest?"
The three cultivators revealed a cold smile when they heard his questions. Their reactions told Noah that he would receive any answer, but he didn't feel surprised about that.
He wanted to gain a few more pieces of information before going all-out, but it seemed that those cultivators had no intention to speak.

"So, that's how my life ends, what a waste of time it was...". 
These were the last thoughts of a young man, shot by accident in a fight between local gangs. Little did he know that he would soon wake up in another world, a world of cultivation! 
This is the story of the whoreson of a wealthy family, of a transmigrator that had no purpose in his previous life, of a demon that will make power his reason to keep on living.

At the Wolf Range, Jam began to look for Night Rangers to hunt. After reaching the Qi Collecting Stage, Jam had unlocked the ability to use divine sense. And after reaching the Palace Creation Stage, his divine sense's range had grown significantly.

Divine Sense was the ability to extend one's energy outside their body to scan the environment. Aside from scanning an opponent to know their level, divine sense can be used to look for things in the environment. It's like an extra sense that give a cultivator information, without them having to use their natural five senses.

At the Qi Collecting Stage Jam's divine sense had a range of 100 meters. Now that he was at the peak of Palace Creation, he could use his divine sense to detect things up to 10 kilometers from his body. If Jam chose to augment his soul with a soul-enhancing superpower through the use of Divinity, Jam could potentially increase the range of his divine sense's normal range.

However, the most optimal choice Jam could make at the moment — instead of enhancing his natural divine sense range — was to use a superpower like Jared's Void Detection, to be able to cast a wider net when searching, and also search more specifically.

The outer region of the Wolf Range was millions of kilometers long, and Jam didn't want to waste any time. Instead of combing through the mountain with his divine sense, he used Divinity to replicate his classmate Jared's superpower, Void Detection.

Void Detection would let him use the local void to search for Night Rangers. Void Detection worked in a similar way to divine sense. However, at the cost of being worst at detailed micro-inspection, its range was leagues ahead of divine sense. While Jam's Divine sense might only extend up to 10 kilometers, with Void Detection, he could search up to 1,000 kilometers away from himself. 

More important was the fact that Void Detection could search for exactly what Jam wanted; it would filter out all other information aside from what Jam wanted to look for. Divine Sense would send Jam details — from the macro scale like natural formations, to the micro scale, as in the texture of ants —  within the range that Jam let it reach. While this was useful, Jam was searching for Night Rangers at the moment and did not want to waste his time sorting through all the random pieces of information his divine sense would pass on to him.

With the power of Void Detection, Jam found a den of Night Ranger in about ten minutes. All of the Night Rangers in this den were very weak, with the strongest one being comparable to a Palace Creation cultivator. 

However, Jam didn't have any plan as to how he would kill these Night Rangers. Moreover he had never been in a real fight, so, he chose to be cautious and not challenge the den by himself, even if his cumulative strength vastly surpassed those Night Rangers present.

Surrounding the Night Ranger's den, there were several patrols of Night Ranges, presumably watching for intruders to their territory. These creatures were surprisingly intelligent, having a base and patrols surveying their territory. Jam chose to target these patrols until he had enough confidence to fight all of the den by himself.

Now that he was out of the academy, Jam could start practicing his most powerful techniques. In the academy, for fear of causing reckless mayhem, he didn't practicing energy attacks. Little did he know that all the courtyards in the academy were design to let cultivators practice their attacks within them, at least to the Saint Realm.

Jam met with his first patrol of Night Rangers which consisted of 7 wolves. To be safe he chose to start practicing his Styles of Cosmic Bow. This way, he would be able to target these "dangerous" wolves with the safety of distance. Jam used the first skill, Single Shot on every wolf and to his dismay, he realized he had severely overkilled each wolf.

In the patrol, the strongest wolf had been a Palace Foundation Stage demonic beast, even though Jam was using the weakest core skill from the Style of the Cosmic Bow, it still wrecked the wolves' bodies beyond recognition, not to mention the weaker wolves. Everything on the wolves' bodies was destroyed, leaving Jam with no spoils of war.

However Jam didn't dwell on this "mistake" and began to practice the True Demon Form Technique. To practice this technique Jam needed to absorb the demonic energy from the demonic beasts he killed. This technique had to be practiced within minutes of the user completing their kills, or the demonic energy from those killed would dissipate into the environment.

[True Demon Form (Partial Demon Form): Transmute demonic energy into internal demonic power and unlock increasing perfect demonic forms — <1%| Evolvable]

To no one's surprise, the demonic energy from 7 lesser mortal beasts wasn't enough to reach the first level of this technique, Partial Demonification. Jam estimated that he would need to kill several thousand demonic beasts of this level to reach the first level in his technique; killing higher leveled beings would let him progress faster, though.

The True Demon Form technique had three levels. The first level was Partial Demonification, or partial demon form; in this level a cultivator would be able to transform parts of their body into a demon. The next level was Lesser Demonification, where a cultivator would gain a full Lesser Demon Transformation. The final level was Greater Demonification; in this level a cultivator would be able to transform into a True Demon. The technique stated that if a cultivator reached the final form, they would inherit a True Demon Legacy, and potentially be able to advance past this known final form.

Jam ran up to another patrol, this time not using any core skill. Instead he used regular stellar arrows. This time, he managed to kill all the Night Rangers without completely destroying their bodies. However, he needed to work on his aiming, as he had missed the vitals on three out of the ten wolves in this patrol.

Jam didn't do anything to the bodies of these wolves as he didn't know any dissecting skills; he wouldn't want to damaged to body trying to take out the valuable parts. He cultivated his True Demon Form technique until he could not longer continue doing so, then stored the dead wolves in his Space Ring, before moving on to other wolves.

Jam continued to hunt Night Ranger patrols, and after gaining enough confidence, Jam returned to the Night Ranger den. This would be the first real challenge he had to face as there were hundreds of Night Rangers crawling around in the den. 

When Jam was "fighting" with the Night Ranger patrols, it was less of a fight and more of Jam practicing his archery. Not once, did a Night Ranger survive long enough to know that they were being hunted by Jam; he could shoot stellar arrows at rate of a machine gun, and as he killed more and more, his accuracy increased.

This time there was no way Jam would be able to shoot down all the wolves, before they noticed him, so he would have to learn how to shoot while moving and defending.

Jam wasn't an idiot, so he chose to target the strongest wolves, those at the Palace Creation Stage first. The most dangerous part of this operation would start after the wolves discovered him, and Jam didn't want the strongest wolves to be around at that time. 

Jam began firing arrows and managed to take out all 47 Palace Creation Stage Night Rangers, as well as 51 Palace Foundation Stage Night Rangers, before alarming the rest of the wolves.

As soon as the wolves reacted to Jam, he found out just how badly he was underestimating these wolves. There were actually 10 Core Formation Stage Night Rangers hiding within the den. Of course, Jam only found out when they surrounded him, as his divine sense and even void detection, could only detect beings of a lower level cultivation than Jam's own cultivation.

Even though Jam underestimated these wolves, he was no pushover himself. Disregarding the fact that his Stellar arrows couldn't kill these Core Formation Stage Night Rangers, as soon as Jam displayed Single Shot the highest level wolves started to die out. This being his first time shooting targets that actively sought to dodge him, Jam failed to hit some of the wolves several times, but as time passed he grew used to the rhythm of the battle. After disposing  the ten Core Formation Night Rangers, Jam began a complete massacre. At some point the wolves started to retreat, but they were no match for Jam's speed and precision.

Within five minutes of assaulting the Night Ranger's den, Jam could be seen standing alone, next to a pile of wolf corpses, cultivating. With all these dead demonic beasts surrounding Jam, Jam could at last reach the first level of the True Demon Form.

Additionally, now that Jam was able to achieve Partial Demonification, he also reached Dao Contact with the Demon Dao. 

After storing the hundreds of Night Ranger bodies in his Space Ring, Jam began to experiment with Partial Demonification. Changing his chest would give him demon armor. Changing his arms, would give him blade like fingers and elbows. Changing his legs would transform them into a metallic abomination. Last but not least, Jam could demonify his head, but no apparent change took place. In his Partial Demon Form, the part of Jam's body which he demonified would enhanced by multiple folds.

As Jam looked at his Space Ring's contents he didn't know if he should laugh. The mission only asked him to kill fifty Night Rangers; he had already destroyed the territory of one entire pack of Night Rangers, consisting of about 500 wolves. At least the academy would take all these Night Ranger Corpses in exchange for spirit stones.

After he returned, Jam would also need to buy a Space Ring with a larger capacity. 100 cubic meters might be a lot, but looking at how Jam could kill hundreds of demon beasts in mere a mere hours, the space wouldn't hold up.

Follow the adventures of a boy named Jam on his journey to gain a purpose. Thrust onto the world of cultivation because of the silly encouragement of his foster grandmother and his ridiculously one-track-minded self, Jam's adventure is bound to be full of action, comedy, and self discovery. Hopefully, his stupidity will be cured before it affects his life too badly.

Today for the first time we left the cave, my brothers were very curious and playful.
On the other hand, I was more interested in investigating the environment near the cave and looking for things that would help me improve the intensity and quality of our training.
They did not let me get away more than 60 meters from the cave, the 11 female wolves including Natalie separated into groups and followed us closely without wanting to lose sight of us.
It seems that even in its own territory this pack is very careful with its cubs, it does not surprise me since such a large bear could easily come on a whim and kill the cubs.
They must be more worried even after Antonio took the wolves out to hunt, the bear's corpse may seem big but it will soon be over, the wolves did not want to waste anything and ate to their heart's content this week.

I hope they finish soon, I do not know how long we can survive without the main group of hunting and defending the herd, they will return every few days but I would prefer that they stay as long as possible to avoid problems.
This forest has few things that I can use as training tools, I could use the elechos as ropes if I do due process, I should also learn to climb trees.
I should train the muscles of the waist, so that the natural weakness of the wolf is not so strong in me.

I could only find rocks and more ferns, there are no things that can improve my diet, can my body let me use plants and mushrooms as a source of nutrition?
There aren't even ants near here, but there is a river further out than the female wolves let me go.
It seems that I can only steal some meat the next time Antonio brings prey for the herd, I thought I would have a chance to try to hunt.
I started picking up some stones and piling them up where they buried the dead wolf, rock by rock, over and over again before I knew it my brothers and the female wolves nearby were also placing rocks on the ground where they buried to the dead wolf.

Abel used his druid soul's power of the will to send the 5 ravens speeding towards those Tainted, distracting them until they could no longer unleash their lighting ball normally.
Abel unleashed a continuous charging bolt through his hand, and a wave of electric arcs arose from the ground. However, just when he thought his light bolt would take a large chunk of health from his enemy like before, he was caught by surprise. The lightning bolts did not do any damage to the Tainted, and 2 of the injured ones had even stood up and joined the battle again after being struck.
By this point, Abel realized those Tainted had a natural defense towards lighting. They were natural rulers of lighting.
Abel changed the weapon in his hand into a Bane Ash, a dark gold magic staff. Afterward, a powered-up rank 14 Firebolt shot out directly from the top of the magic staff towards those Tainted.
The true power of the Tainted could only be seen during long-distance battles. They were a disaster in close battles, so they were basically hopeless against the spirit guardian knights who had inherited the official knight fighting ability of Abel. 
Even a spirit wolf was more powerful in close distance battles than a Tainted.
Actually, in this battle, the most powerful attacker was not the spirit guardian knights, nor the spirit wolves; it was the poison creeper. It had injected poison upon every single Tainted on the ground, and it had managed to replenish their poison every time they recovered. Although none of the Tainted had been directly poisoned to death, a large chunk of their health was taken up by the poison.
Fire attacks were known as the most powerful spell. Although a rank 13 Firebolt was still the lowest ranking spell among all the fire spells, it could still cause 3-31 fire damage. Basically, every single Firebolt could kill a Tainted.
With as much as 600 points of mana, Abel had enough to keep unleashing Firebolt without a single worry.
Just when Abel thought those Tainted would soon be whipped out, a string of lighting ball struck 2 spirit wolves directly into death protection. Under the glow of the lighting bolt, Abel saw gold Tainted hiding in a dark corner from afar.
Abel's heart dropped when he saw the 2 spirit wolves instantly struck into death protection. The defense of those spirit wolves was even stronger than his since they were the main force of an official druid at the end of the day. Both their attack or defense could hurt an official wizard.

Somewhere deep in a lush forest, a young man wearing tattered and bloodied clothes is dashing through the trees.

As the gap between him and the wolves got closer, his hands glowed white. From a single line, to an angle, then a triangle. That triangle doubled and formed a Solomon star. Runes appeared at the tip of the star as a thin circle enclosed everything. Five out of the runes turned red while one turned green. The white circle quickly turned burgundy. The entire thing formed in two seconds.
With a quick spin, he the mystical circle that kept glowing rotated. Like a flamethrower, a wave of flames burst out of the circle as if it was a portal from hell.

Shrieks of pain resounded on the forest as the wolves who were in the front line were the first one to take a full brunt of the spell as they began to roll on the ground trying to douse off the flames.
Weirdly enough, even though the flames had a wide area of effect, the forest were not burnt. Other than the foliage that were stepped on or the immolated wolves, nothing was burnt.
Rather, the grasses glowed green which quickly turned the air damp and sticky. This slowed the wolves from behind.
Suddenly, the spell circle cracked like glass and the spewing flames died off like a flamethrower out of ammo.
The man who casted the spell had run out of usable mana. But it got the job done.
He began to run away once more.
Fortunately for him, his last spell was really effective and increased the gap by a hundred meters.
In no time, he lost the pack.

The pack of wolves were cunning enough that the only direction for the man to run is towards the center of the forest.
The man realized this, but he had no other choice. It may have been delaying the inevitable, but the more time he has, the more chances that a miracle happens.
Hoping that the wolves were further than he believes them to be, the man trudged on carefully keeping a constant pace. It'd be terrible if he faces even more beasts, or worse, monsters.

His thoughts were in disarray as this kind of phenomenon could only occur on two ways. First is a natural magic treasure is being born. The other is something stronger, or more terrifying than himself, is absorbing the mana in the atmosphere.

It was one of the coldest winters Freeze City has ever gotten. The snow froze over the environment that became too harsh to inhabit and vegetation was scarce. The only thing that kept Freeze City alive was its borders that separated humanity from the rest of the world. Food was distributed in small amounts by the government as crime and poverty increased in numbers. Soon, there were riots and raids that went against the government for their poor decisions. Lives were lost, but in the end, the government managed to control the population by the one thing they had access to: wolves. Of course because of how small their numbers were, they were forced to breed until they had wolves of their own to train and patrol there streets.
In order to properly contain their instincts, scientists built shock collars to stabilize their behavior so they wouldn't turn against them. It wasn't long before they grabbed dogs from nearby stores, shelters and alleyways. Some of them were normal. most were part machine and other became an entirely new species of canine. Unbalanced as the world was, wolves and dogs were used as tools to revive the city, but at the cost of their lives through harsh labor and removing those who didn't fit into Freeze City's rules. Many wolves have heard of place hidden from the Earth that only they can access, an eternal paradise surrounded by meadow-like plains with lakes, flourished trees and snow-topped mountains. Thousands of wolves who heard of this place journey through the cold to find it, only to be left in the freezing cold left for dead. There are so few who believed of such fantasy world and later gave in to the looming oppression, but there are also those who would stop at nothing to be freed by despair and live their own lives, or die trying.

Raised in a lab, Mai is forced to live and work as an enforcer of Freeze City. However, as a deadly pathogen spreads through her facility, Mai and the last surviving canines are forced to wander the lands for survival. She then hears of a fabled place called "Paradise" where all wolves and canines can be free from the nightmares of this world and will do everything in her power to make sure she finds it; but doing so makes her pack a target by those who believe them to be a threat and others who want to spill their blood.
