He had been misunderstood by her all these years yet he didn't complain, even  though she had left him he still kept his promise of protecting her by giving his all to her.

Qin Yue asked, "If he cared for me then why did he do those things back then?"

An Zihao let out a dry chuckle to hismelf, "He claimed to hate you, right? He implied the same words to me but I know what was running within him deep down."

"He was not satisfied with Golden Ages performance, six years you were working under them and they failed to protect you three times. And Han Mufeng's intentions about you were not polite either, he restrained himself because of Li Jin. Bro knew that some day Li Jin would be forced to leave the company and take over his family business, if that were to happen then there would be no one to take care of you."

"He was afraid that you would be taken advantage of, so he bought over NC as he promised you back then. As soon as he bought it over he sent a descent proposal to Godlen Ages to make you switch the company but they turned it down; he gave them many fancy offers but they weren't ready to let go. So, he had to use the means of force to snatch you from the wolves den and make you come back to him."

"For you he altered the company policy and even bought Wen Xiaoxiao over an year ago; he was trying his best to carve NC into a capable agency where he could protect you!"

"Yes, I agree that his methods were cruel but he had no other choice!"

Qin Yue stayed mum; now everything made sense. Seems like he never hated her, she was just overthinking herlsef all these years. While she was mum regretting everything she had did back then An Zihao lit another stick and sucked on it.

"Xiao Yue, tell me, did he deserve any of it? He was made to give up on the one thing he loved the most since his childhood, kick his luxurious life and come to that little village after arguing with his parents, spend all night reading notes about wooing a girl, holding himself back to cope up with your temper tantrums, was he in the need to do any of it?"

"I wish you ever tried to understand him, I wish you cared for him in the way he did." He shoved his hand into his pocket and fished out a ring box from it, passing it to her he continued, "I wish you stayed back to know what gift he had prepared for you!"

Qin Yue's year brimmed eyes froze on the worn out ring box which sat in his hands; accepting it with trembling hands she asked, "This... this is?"

"He prepared to propose you that night you broke up with him!" An Zihao slowly dragged those words out. Qin Yue froze, her mind went blank as she flicked open the little box and saw the ring which it treasured. Qin Yue's whole body slightly trembled as the ring shone in her eyes; for some reason the little box seemed so heavy on her hands.

She wished to go back in time and slap her old self for being so reckless; six years, for a whole course of six years she had been punishing him for her mistakes. She was stupid, she was a down to Earth stupid to give up on him.

Hugging her knees she clutched the little box in her hands as she hurried her head and weeped.

"Take me to him, please!" Qin Yue looked up at An Zihao and spoke in a barely audible voice.

After waiting for the whole evening An Zihao managed to squeeze a ticket for the two of them to Houston where Lu Sheng was still hospitalised. Sitting on her seat Qin Yue looked exhausted as she started out of the window.

Passing her a blanket An Zihao urges her to sleep; even though Qin Yue flashed him a dry smile and agreed to it her eyes were not ready to shut down. Her swollen eyes, draped with sorrow, couldn't wait to see him.

An Zihao had already cautioned her about his condition, he might barely survive but Qin Yue was not ready to give up on him again. This was her only chance to make up for what she ruined, she yearned to get together with him.

All these misunderstandings had cost her a lot of time, even if it meant tearing apart the world or wrecking havoc in the Heavens, she was willing to do anything to buy some time for them.

In the second half of the game with no choice to change the style of play the NC State Wolfpack team came to try to change the outcome of the game and come out as champions, so they knew that if they missed the three-point move less they could change the outcome of the game.
But it was easier said than said, they never had players who used to have a good hit rate on three-point plays, so to hit more they would also have to try harder and make more mistakes.
Since the rebounds were from the Tar Heels team in this game they would be giving the opponents plenty of counterattacking opportunities, but they had no other options than trying to make such moves.
Jake remembered watching this game in his past life, the team Tar Heels also dominated the game he watched, the problem was that they missed many moves and had many turnovers and therefore lost several chances to make more points.
So in this game Jake was keen to own the ball and control and organize the plays for the Tar Heels team, Jake also said he would do that for Coach Smith and received the coach's approval.

The Tar Heels team also missed much less and so by the end of the game, everyone knew who the ACC tournament champion team was.
In that second half, Jake played for 18 minutes and made 17 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds, and 6 steals, with this brilliant performance of Jake the Tar Heels team easily won this game.
Jake had made a quadruple-double with 39 points, 15 assists, 12 rebounds, and 11 steals, after the game all just gathered in the center of the court and celebrated a lot, Jake was congratulated by his teammates for quadruple-double.
Even though everyone was happier to be ACC tournament champions, it was great to win that way because they knew they would not leave without any championships won this season and would try their best to win the NCAA tournament.
Team Tar Heels won this game and became champion by scoring 87 points against only 49 points by Team NC State Wolfpack, Jake remembered that this game in his past life was much harder and Team Tar Heels won with fewer points.
"What an amazing game we saw today here in this final game that decided who is the 1997 ACC tournament champion team, this time the NC State Wolfpack team failed to perform another miracle and their cinderella tale ended today, the Tar Heels team is the champion."
"All merit goes to Jake who got a quadruple-double that will go down in history, and to Antawn Jamison and Serge Zwikker who dominated the game in the painted area in both offense and defense."

A person who lived the life to the maximum even being a person with paralysis, always played his favorite sport basketball, even if alone, follow the story of Jake Smith to be happy with a second chance.
Jake who suffered a lot in his life, was unable to use his legs, lost his mother, was even more optimistic, before his death he received help from the fate that will be his system when he returns to age of 10, now that Jake can do it all over again, he will become a pro at basketball, and give a better life to his mother, and do everything he can to be happy

"Kitiana" Jazmine calls. I turn to see her with a serious look on her face and I know she means business.
"Jessica can you take the twins inside, please" I said, she nodded and took them with her.
"Hello Jazmine. By your serious face... I can see you means that you're here on business" I assumed.
"Yes, and I know you want to hear this. Could we speak in private?" she asks. I nod and she followed me to Gavin's office since he is out in a meeting in another pack. We have a seat and Jazmine takes a deep breath.
"Do you remember six years ago, when we first met. There was an incident with your mate and one of the girls here?" she asks, and I growled at the thought, but nodded my response.
"You also remember that the day of the ceremony of you becoming Lycan queen that same girl was nowhere to be found when Gavin was taken by your 'father'?" she asks, and I begin to think about that day.
"Yes, matter of fact I didn't see her there at the ceremony or when we went to rescue my mate" I admitted.
"Well, if I'm right is because she was working with your father" Jazmine says. I begin to think about the possibilities. She did want my mate and tried all she could to take him away. I wouldn't pass it by her not trying something like this to get him, but how will she know about my father?
"How would she have known about my father? She hasn't been seen for five years or so. She left the pack without permission and is considered now a rogue" I told Jazmine.
"Actually, she was at the barbeque last year. Leila spotted her trying to get inside the pack but stopped her. She attacked Leila and had this in her possession. I believe that your father contacted her when he found out where you were" Jazmine shows me a dagger with a ruby in the middle of the blade. It was a very beautiful blade, but I got a vibe that it was a very dangerous weapon and ancient.
"What kind of blade is this?" I asked her.
"This blade can kill any supernatural being. Vampire, werewolves, witches..." she trailed off and looked away "this was the dagger your father used to kill your mother" she whispered the last part.
"So, Rick gave Samantha this dagger to kill me?" I asked and she nods.
"Yes, but also your husband and your kids. Your father had no idea you were pregnant when the battle went down, but Samantha knew, and she was willing to kill you and your kids, so she could get what she wants" Jazmine explained.
"Where is Samantha now?" I asked.
"I can bring her to you. Leila has her in her dungeon" Jazmine said.
"Bring her tomorrow. I will inform Gavin of everything you have told me, and he will be the one taking a decision on it" I said, and she nodded her head. She turned to leave but stopped and looked at me.
"You have become a great leader Kitiana and I know you will continue until its all passed down to your kids" she smiled and turned opening a portal and leaving. I went inside the pack house and looked for Jessica. I found her in the kitchen giving the twins a snack as she rubbed her pregnant belly. I sighed. So much for planning my wedding and getting the nursery ready for our new baby.

After dinner I gave the kids a bath and Jessica went to rest back in her room. She has been such a great friend and help. When Gavin is not home, she helps me in everything and anything and I greatly appreciate it. After the bath I put the twins to bed. Once I have said goodnight, I go to my room and I find Gavin in the bed sleeping.
'When did he get home?' I thought to myself. I sigh and I turn off the TV and changed to my pajamas on. I actually thought I would get to talk to him and spend time with him after not seeing him in two days, but I guess I could talk to him and spend some time with him tomorrow. I go in the bathroom turning on the shower to the right temperature. I undress myself and I get in. I wash my body and I look at my belly. It's a lot smaller from when I was three months pregnant with the twins yet I still feel tired all the time. After I finished, I turned off the shower and dry myself off. I put on my underwear and my pajamas and I come out of the bathroom when I feel another presence in the room besides Gavin and myself. Before I could even turn around to look, I felt a sharp pain in my neck and my mouth was covered. Everything was becoming a blur until everything went dark.
(Gavin)
I woke up to the twins screaming. I reach to wake up my mate, but she's not there. In fact her side was still made. I looked at the clock by the TV and see its five in the morning. I get up and go check on the boys when Jessica enters the room.
"Where's Kitiana?" Jessica asked.
"I was just going to ask you the same thing. She didn't sleep in the room last night" I told her. I sniffed the air and her scent was very faint.
"Alpha" Kaleb called, and he sounded worried. I followed his gaze and saw that the twins eyes were glowing silver.
"Mom" Alex whispered and that's when I felt it. The pain on my back and I knew that pain very well. My mate was being whipped. Kaleb ran to my side and the boys screamed as they watched me fall to my knees.
"Stay with them" I ordered Kaleb. I went downstairs when I saw a portal open. Jazmine, Leila, Kathie and Kayla stepped out of the portal.
"Your highness" all four of them said simultaneously.
"We have a problem. Samantha escaped with the help of another rogue" Jazmine said.
"Samantha?" I questioned.
"You haven't had the chance to speak with the Luna?" Jazmine asked and I shook my head no.
"No, Kitiana is missing. I can't find her anywhere" I informed them and they looked terrified. After Jazmine filled me in on everything that was done and said she showed me the dagger and that's when I fell to my knees again. I could feel whip after whip being deliver to my mate's back. I couldn't believe the pain she was going through. I need to find her soon. As if reading my mind Kayla spoke.
"We need to find Kitiana, before Samantha kills her and the baby."
"Where do we begin?" I asked.
"Close your eyes. Concentrate on your mate, the bond that you both share. Use your mind and your powers. You are the only one who can find her" Jazmine says as the four of them put a hand on my shoulders and begin to chant. My head hurt while I was trying to concentrate and find my mate. Suddenly I felt her it was like I could see through her eyes. So, I opened the mind link between us.
'Kitiana, baby are you okay?'
'Gavin?'
'Yes, baby is me'
'Gavin stay away. Protect the kids... She's crazy...'
'No Kitten. I will not stay away I will find you and our baby and bring you both back home. The kids are safe. Can you look around and see if you see anything that could let me know where you are?' suddenly a bright light turned on making both of us winced at how bright the light was.
'Use your powers baby'
'I can't she injected me with something. I can't use my powers or heal. I need to wait until whatever she gave me wears off'
'I will find you baby. Hold on please.' Then I saw a flash with words on it 'Clyde, NC.'
Jazmine and the others stopped chanting and looked ready to go.
'Mason get the warriors ready. We're going to get our Luna' I mind liked
'Yes Alpha' he linked back.
"Kathie, I need my kids safe. Please watch over them at all cause." She quickly went upstairs where the kids were.
"We know where she is. Are you ready to get your mate and pup back?" Jazmine asked. I growled my response and she nodded.
"Kitiana said she was injected with something and that's why she can't use her powers or heal. Do you know what they gave her?" I asked Jazmine.
"There's two rare flowers one is called 'Passionflower' and the second is the 'rare blue daisy' but you only use the seeds on the blue daisy. Combining these two flowers together can stop her from using her powers and healing, but too much of this injection can... kill our queen" Jazmine whispered the last three words. I walked outside where the warriors are waiting for me. I stood in front of them and they are all looking at me.
"Our Luna has been taken by one of our ex pack members Samantha Mathews. We found where she is being kept and tortured. We don't know how many people she has with her, but I'm assuming that she has quite enough to go and kidnap our Luna. Kill everyone that's not in our pack and that is not our witches. Come back safe to the pack and your family. Now let's get moving!" I roared. We all shifted to our wolves and went to go safe our Luna. It took us two ours to get to Clyde, NC. You might be asking yourself why didn't we use a portal to get there faster? Well... let me tell you that if you open a portal to a place you have never been before you could end up opening a portal right over a cliff and fall to your death. This is the reason why we preferred to just shift to get there. The witches used their powers to find her and we came to an abandoned building. There were about one hundred rogues maybe one hundred and fifty. I sniffed the air and I could smell my mate's blood.

ELENA P.O.V
=Next morning
*Alarm turns on*
Elena:*sighs*"new day, it's good that I only have one year left"*goes and gets ready quickly*
*prepares breakfast when she finished getting dressed and texted Brandon to come and pick her up*
Brandon replied:"sorry running late 'cause of a problem at home see you in school" 
Elena:"*sighs* nice *textes Susan: plz say that you can pick me up plz*"
Susan replied: "sowwwyyyyyy I can't I had to help my mom in the kitchen I won't be in school until 2 period at least"
Elena:"hmmmmm then I guess I better start walking to school"*gets her things, grabs her keys to lock the front door and walks to school getting there in 30 mins before the bell rings in 5 mins*
=At school 
Elena:"*thinks: since I'm already late let me get my stuff and text Trent to meet me at the library for tutoring this afternoon* *goes to her Locker, puts her stuff in and gets the stuff she needs, then text Trent: hey this is your tutor Elena got your number from the science teacher meet me in the library around 4*"
Brandon:"hey"
Elena:"well hello your late too?"
Brandon:"yeah sorry I couldn't pick you up"
Elena:"not a problem"*closes her locker harshly*
Brandon:"wow your really mad"
Elena:"not at all, see you in class"*walks passed him and goes to class*
TRENT P.O.V
Trent:"*is phone vibrate* hmm?? *checks out message and smiles while reading it* *replies back: sure thing no problem* *saves her number*"
Teacher:"Mr. Trent is it so important what you have in your phone that you have to take it out in this class?"
Trent:"My apology Mr.Sanchez *puts it away* see?? No more phone, continue"
Teacher:"alright"
*trent couldn't help but keep on smiling at the text he just had read while taking notes of the class lecture that the teacher was giving*
Everyone:"*started whispering* omg did Trent just apologize? What is going on? What's happening today?? Is this some sort of joke??"

Trent:"the science teacher gave it to her, and she messaged me to meet her around 4 for tutoring"

Trent:"yup I might even drop her off at her place when we are done so she doesn't have to walk all the way there"

*elena picks up her clothes for the tutoring, goes takes a relaxing shower and starts cooking herself something to eat so she has the energy to do a good job on the first day of been a tutor*
BRANDON P.O.V
Brandon:*thinks: damm it I can't believe she didn't tell me I'm gonna have to go back and give the queen the news*
*goes all the way to the underwolf and reports to the queen*
???:"how's she doing?? Any news on her powers??"
Brandon:"no not yet I'll report when it happens tho, but if she asks what else do I tell her?"
???:"tell her your just like her and say something sweet to make her calm because I believe she won't feel relax when it happens for the first time"

Only 20?!? I almost risked my life there! Anyways, as  the maids were all scrambling about, my father ended up leaving eventually.

Sounds like a bunch of work to me. I sighed internally. Suddenly I see something flash past the window... must've been a bird or something. 

The days passed pretty boringly. I chatted with 88... actually that's the only thing I can talk to. I want to grow up quickly and express all my thoughts and feelings out to this unfair world.

I internally glared at 88 for putting me in this situation in the first place. Maybe I would've ended up in the hospital as a vegetable.

Now was the time to start planning my next plan. This novel revolves around the main character, in that case it's my older sister who I've yet to meet and probably won't meet for a long time.

Actually forget that I'm too tired in this body of mine. As I drifted away to sleep, something was bothering me deep in my mind. 

When I woke up, the maids were ready to tend to my every need. Quite embarrassing but what could I do? I studied at their faces for some entertainment.

Wait didn't I just complete one? Why is there another one so quickl! This 88 was so unreasonable... anyways I looked at a hologram that appeared in my view of vision. The quest details this time were much better than last time.

88, how kind of you to explain it. I scanned the details further. Basically all I had to do this time was befriend one of my brothers. I did hear from the maids that a one of them pass by here every once in a while so it should be a bit easy. But does this mission have a deadline?? 88?

How come the first mission had a death penalty?! This kinda infuriated me. Imagine having to die because you didn't want to puke on your royal dad... yeah can't relate.

A week had gone by and I still haven't seen even a peep of another person other than my maids. "The Princess seems like she wants something?" I heard Sonya say. "Would she perhaps like to go to the garden for some fresh air?" Sonya asked my nanny. Yes! I need to go outside to see if I spot any of my brothers are hanging about.

However my nanny, Araceli seemed unsure about the idea. Understandable, I am a very fragile baby at the moment. I lifted my fists in the air and started squirming. "Maybe..." my nanny said preparing my daily dose of milk. "Aw come on! Don't be such a bummer!" Sonya said picking me up. I decided to smile at her, trying to signal that yes I did want to leave this room I've been in for barely over a week. 

Araceli sighed and eventually gave in. Sonya held me in her arms as we went out. Ugh... what even was this garden. Most of the bushes were dead and there were only a few patches of flowers here and there.

Huh??? Where am I?
