"Rat-a-tat-tat." Debbie was startled by a sudden knock at the door. It was already well past her usual sleeping time and she wondered who could it be at this ungodly hour. She had just unzipped her down jacket. She had no choice but to zip it up again.    

"Who is it?" she called out.

"Young girl, it's me." It sounded like the voice of the village head's wife.    

Her guess was right. When Debbie opened the door, she saw the village head's wife and her handsome son standing outside.

The woman smiled pleasantly on seeing Debbie and asked, "Young girl, did I wake you?"    

Debbie shook her head. "No, it's okay. I hadn't slept yet. Is everything okay?" she answered, confused as to why these two were paying her a visit at night.

The woman turned towards her son. He immediately lifted up something from the ground and handed it to Debbie. "This is our electric warming fan. My mother and I have brought it to you so that you don't get cold,"  he told her coyly.    

"But...no... I can't take this. This is too generous." Debbie was deeply moved. As far as she knew, there was not even a water heater in the village. How on earth did they manage to procure an electric warming fan for her?

She didn't want to prove a burden to anyone, but the village head's wife was having none of it and straightforwardly asked her son to carry the fan into Debbie's room. Before Debbie knew how and what, the boy had already plugged the fan into a socket and the room was filled with the slight hum of its motor.    

"Thank you so much! But if I keep the fan in my room, what about you? You'll be cold at night without it,"  Debbie protested, though she wasn't entirely ungrateful. If she had guessed right, then this might have been the only electric warming fan in the whole village.

With a genuine smile, the woman responded, "We're used to this weather, young girl, but you've come from the big city. You can't fall asleep at night without it. Please sleep tight. We should get going now!"    

Then, she held her son's hand and they left together, leaving Debbie to her confused thoughts.

With the warming fan on, the room was soon filled with a warm ambiance. Sitting at the edge of the bed in her thoughts, Debbie even forgot to lie down.    

She was confused. 'Why does the village head's wife treat me so well? Is Jared's joke true? Does she really want me to stay and marry her son? Truth be told, her son is quite handsome. But...I'm married. I have Carlos. If that's why this whole special-treatment-thing is going on, I'm afraid their wish can't come true, and it's got to stop, ' she mused.

As it turned out, she couldn't be farther from the truth. This was proven when she went to get some hot water.    

It wasn't only the village head's wife who was treating her so well. Debbie found that almost every person of the village who was a part of her life at the moment was being very kind. Even the owner of the house which she was staying in gave her special care. When she walked out of her bedroom and told the hostess that she wanted some hot water, the hostess immediately brought three thermoses to her bedroom.

That wasn't the only thing she did. Earlier, she had prepared a new basin and a clean towel for Debbie too. At the moment, Debbie hadn't thought too much about these new things, because she believed that all the other schoolmates had the same things as hers.    

The notion was broken rather abruptly when after washing her face and wiping her body, she slipped into the bed again. Much to her surprise, the bed didn't feel cold. And the fan couldn't have warmed the bed; it was too low for that.

Debbie sat up and took a careful look. It wasn't until now that she noticed there was an electric blanket on her bed. And moreover, someone had turned it on in advance, so it was already warm enough now.    

A suspicion rose inside her heart again. Unable to hold back her curiosity, she took out her phone and texted Jared and Dixon. She asked cautiously, "Hey guys! Do you two feel cold in your rooms?"

After waiting for a long while, she received Jared's reply. "Of course we feel cold Deb! I couldn't bear it so I've come to sleep in the same bed with Dixon."    

Before Debbie could return him a message, she received a voice message from Jared. "Dude, what the fuck! It is such a cold weather here and I'm freezing to death. What's more, that jerk Dixon asked me to stay in the quilt to warm the bed for him. I'm so pissed!

But I need to stay with someone to keep warm when I sleep, so I have no choice but to tolerate that guy." Though her friends were cold, Debbie couldn't help bursting into a guilty laughter.    

She could vaguely hear Dixon's complaint in the background of the voice message and it was really comical. "Jared, are you a snake? Why is the bed still so cold? You've stayed in it for a long while!"

Judging from their words, Debbie was sure that they didn't have an electric blanket.    

'Am I the only one who has it?' she wondered. To confirm her guess, she texted Gail too. She couldn't sleep right now anyway if she couldn't figure the whole thing out. She wrote, "Gail, are you asleep?"

Soon enough, she received Gail's voice message. They were all too cold to type with their thumbs. "Is that really a question? It's so cold in this bad place. How the hell am I supposed to fall asleep? I shouldn't have brought snacks for the kids. I should have brought something to keep myself warm, such as an electric blanket. I don't even want to get on this cold bed..."    

Debbie paused. After all, Gail was her cousin. Debbie didn't want her to catch a cold or get some serious illness, so she returned a message. "If you can't withstand it, how about you come to my room and we sleep together?"

After waiting for about two minutes, Debbie received Gail's reply. This time, she had resorted to text. "No way! I will never sleep in the same bed with you! Who knows what your body smells like! Not a chance. Damn! What a bad place here! I can't even find an electric blanket anywhere."    

'I have bad smell? Fine! Then just stay in your cold bed!' Debbie angrily repeated Gail's sentence in exasperation. She didn't care about her anymore and decided to sleep.

The next day, the first batch of donated supplies had arrived at the Southon Village. Therefore, Debbie and her schoolmates assembled at a small school and began to distribute the supplies to each household. The supplies were numerous and by the time they were finished, it was already dark. One day had elapsed quickly.    

During the course of her interactions, Debbie also met a few children who didn't have parents and were being raised by their grandparents. She silently gave some money to the grandparents of these families.

One of the children's grandmother was so grateful that she even knelt down in front of Debbie, which startled her, and she quickly lifted the old woman up from the ground. It would have been a touching scene, but Debbie didn't feel comfortable with someone in her feet.    

On the third day, since the second batch of the donated supplies hadn't arrived, the fifteen university students took turns to give classes to the kids there. They shared a lot of things with the kids that they had never heard due to the poor education conditions there. They also sang a lot of popular songs for the kids.

The shabby classroom had become noisy. A lot of villagers had also come to the school and were even standing outside since there wasn't enough space inside. With keen pleasure, they listened to Debbie and Jared singing songs and then listened to Dixon and Gregory telling stories. Everything the students talked about was new and interesting to the villagers.    

On the morning of the fourth day, the second batch of supplies arrived. There were new cotton shoes and clothes in this batch. The university students helped the kids wash their feet and then asked them to try on the new shoes.

Debbie didn't have any mission this afternoon, so she silently went to the yard behind the school on her own. She wanted a breath of fresh air for as long as she could have one. Earlier, she had told the village head's son to help her send out a few postcards. 'Have Kasie and the others received my postcards yet?' she wondered.    

She had just sat down on a big rock and taken out her phone which had no signal, when a person suddenly showed up in front of her, blocking the cool sunlight.

She raised her head and found that it was Gus.    

He was staring at her without saying a word. Debbie looked around and found nobody else here. Confused, she asked, "What do you want?"

Gus kept his eyes on her without responding.    

Debbie got goose bumps by his gaze. "Dammit. Hey, you're a man and I'm a woman. Don't stare at me that way. I'm scared..."

Gus rolled his eyes at her. He snorted, "You're as stupid as all the others!"    

Debbie was rendered speechless. What did he want? 'Is he here to stir up some new trouble for me?' she thought.

With that in mind, Debbie put her phone back and stood up from the big rock. She was about to leave but Gus stopped her. "What's going on between you and Carlos Huo?" Gus had happened to overhear someone's words. Whoever it was, the person had said that Carlos demanded people here give special care to Debbie.    

With Carlos' name being mentioned, Debbie turned around and spat out, "Wimpy kid, just mind your own business and don't poke your big nose where it doesn't belong."

'What? Wimpy kid? Me?'    

Gus' face darkened. If Debbie weren't a woman, he would surely have punched her black and blue now.

After Debbie had walked away, Gus immediately texted his brother. "Curtis, Debbie called me wimpy kid! How dare she do that? I need to go back to Y City now. Arrange for someone to pick me up. I don't want to take that goddamn bus again!"    

The signal was really bad in the village, and Gus had to try several times before the message went through.

A few moments later, Gus received Curtis' reply with only a few words. "Debbie is right. Just stay there."    

Gus was angry at his cold response. He wondered why his brother always sided with Debbie.

He was sure that Curtis loved Colleen, so there shouldn't have been any untoward relationship between Curtis and Debbie. 'When I return home, I need to ask my father if they mistook me and Debbie when we were born. Could it be possible that Debbie is their biological daughter and I'm the wrong one?'    

There were several times when Gus felt like Debbie was Curtis' real younger sister and he himself was the one who had been adopted to protect Debbie.

"Drive this woman out!"

"Throw this woman into the sea!"


When he doesn't know Debbie Nian's true identify, Carlos Huo cold-shoulders her.

As Shriyank started remembering the moments he had spent with him he only came to the conclusion that he was all brawn and if a problem arises he will use power if unable to solve then he will come to us for them help for the brain part so he didn't think much about that.

As Shriyank was pondering over Neeraj words and the evening meet he reached his home which was on plot no. 43 as there was chest size entrance gate in front with a parking space and gate after that in for the house with drawing hall kitchen bedroom and storehouse along with it and rest on the second floor.

As he entered his house he saw his mother preparing the dinner and so he said " Maa i am back."

Hearing his son's voice Anupama Singh turned back smiling replied " Beta How's your day today. " Anupama Singh is 40 years old with elegant and kindly temperament which makes the people around her always blissful, if one can see her closely then can see that she had maintained her body properly as time had not been able to leave much mark on her.

Hearing his mother's question Shriyank replied " Maa it's been tiring day. "

Hearing his son's reply Anupama asked " Only tiring ? "
Seeing his mother is making fun of him Shriyank blamingly replied " Maa that wasn't my fault you did't wake me up at the right time so I was't able to meet him."

Anupama derided and said " Why I am responsible for waking you up you are 16 years old now, you should start taking some responsibility yourself instead of shrinking responsibility and putting blame on me for your actions. "

Seeing his mother's look and words and knowing that he can't win the argument against her so Shriyank changed the topic, and said " Maa can you talk to Nitin's aunt and find out he seems to be quite off today." remembering his conversation with Neeraj

Seeing his son trying to avert the conversation Anupama didn't point out the fact just get along with him and replied " okay i will talk to her tomorrow, It's late today it's not good to disturb someone so late at night. "

Hearing his mother's words Shriyank nodded replied " Okay Maa, I will be going to my room now. Call me when dinner is ready."

As seeing that it's past 9 and the she left her dishes on the gases and came out Anupama replied " Go busy on your own, i will go make the dinner ".  and  she turned and left and went towards the kitchen.
Seeing his mother went to the Kitchen Shriyank also went towards his own room.
Entering the room Shriyank sat on his bed started to remember how he met his friend.

5 years ago during the month of March after the final examination, One day to enjoy the Spring season his mother made him go with him as the excuse of enjoying the flowers but the real reason was he had become a loner due to his ridiculing tone among the class as a result he started befriending the video games and stop going out to play also so as usual his mother bring him to park to make some friends and change his loner behavior so he was forced by his mother to go to the park.

As Shriyank was playing the in his game pad a football hit him and the game pad slipped out my hand. Seeing that the gamepand has slipped Shriyank looked for a person who did this he saw a kid around same age as him went towards the ball started dribbling as nothing had happen seeing that the other person had no intention to apologize he couldn't help but say " Hey shouldn't you apologize after hitting me ? "

After his question Shriyank saw the little kid turned to looked at him and replied  in a emotionless " You are just wimpy kid why should i apologize to you, if you want me to apologize to you then first score a goal against me here."

Seeing that the two kids bickering their guardian also came out to settle the affairs and this is how Anupama Singh and Renuka Kumar became friends as they were both born from high class society so they weren't able to mesh with the people here so they become friends as how it was later part of the story.

As the two ladies came they both started to berate their child and asked them apologize in one hand due to fear of his mother being angry Shriyank simply go ahead and apologized as for Nitin he only replied " Score a goal against me first, i won't apologize to a wimpy kid like you."

Hearing Nitin words Renuka start apologizing as for Shriyank seeing the disdain in his voice he riled up and said " Let's go I will show you i am not a wimpy kid "

Nitin only glanced at him and said "Let's go"
 Seeing the two behave like this both ladies glance at each other smiling in gratitude.

When Ean opened the door I was shocked to see that his usual dirty jeans and polo was replaced with a grey suit and black tie. His hair had gel in it and was loosely falling over his forehead. "Ha I know. Dad told me I had to look good." Then with no warning he pulled me in for a tight hug. I was completely squished. "I have missed you little Sofia." I used to hate it when we were kids but now it was like a source of comfort. "Um Ean why don't we have some tea?" I ask. My voice shaking. "Oh of course. Right this way." He smiles and leads me into a massive dining room and he sits at the head of the table with me in his right. A servant comes over and Ean tells her to get us some tea. I notice Damon come in and stand by the door, his button up shirt and vest on point.  His pocket watch chain hanging out of his pocket. I get chills when Ean puts his hand on mine and asks if I'm alright. "Oh yes. I'm fine just a little tired."
He frowns but then the servant brings our tea.  He doesn't bother to thank her which bothers me so I do. He and the servant look at me with looks of shock. "What's wrong? What did I do?" I ask almost defensively. "Oh it's nothing madam. It's just-" Ean cuts her off.  "Sofia dear,  you didn't do anything wrong.  She is just ignorant." I'm taken aback by this the Ean that I grew up with is messy but kind. The new Ean may look good but he has changed. "She most certainly is not ignorant and I am not your dear. I won't have to answer to that for another year. And you will be lucky if I don't just ignore you then as well. Good day Mr. Gill." I half shouted. I stood up walked to the door stoped looked at Damon and all my troubles vanished. How is it just looking at this person I just met this morning make me feel so good? It's his eyes how calm and reassuring they are. I almost get lost in them. It's him clearing his throat that makes me realize that I'm smiling. I sigh and go out the door. He closes it after following. He walks a steady pace in front of me and holds the door open. After he gets in I burst into tears not even knowing why. He scoots over to where I am and puts his arm around me. Without even thinking I burry my head in his chest and let it all out. And he just lays his head on mine and rubs my back. 


I must have fallen asleep back in the car. I woke to the smell of pasta. I walk downstairs to see Damon with his sleeves rolled up and a white apron on. He's making me dinner. I know it's his job but it still warms me to know that he's doing it for me. "Oh madam, you've awoken. Dinner will be ready in about ten minutes. If you would like to take a evening stroll around the garden that would be fine." I smile and nod. "Wonderful, I shall come get you when the food is ready."  I don't know why he would think that the garden I have in it's wimpy and died out glory would take ten minutes but okay I guess I could just go sit on the swing. When I walk outside wimpy and dry is not what I see. Quite the opposite actually. It's marvelous! The flower beds have been filled with red tulips and the hanging baskets with petunias of red and white. And there are lights hung over the gardens and the swing has a gazebo over it now and where once ugly roses that were never pruned. There is now fabulous white roses all over it and it's all so enchanting. I hardly notice the person standing there waiting for me.

"Let's go", Derek urged
"Go where?" Stephan replied in refute
"After the creature of course"
"No no no c'mon, there's have got to be another way"
"Look Stephan we don't have time for this, I'm not gonna die in here, I'm taking my chances so are you with me" Derek said boldly. 
With stephan still quiet--
"I'm going with you Derek", Lena said softly 
Both of them turned to Stephan with Derek giving him an intense stare like he was in a hurry. 
"Damn it Derek,  you're such a hot head"
"Is that a yes?"
"Goddammit it's a yes, but if we meet that creature again you're fighting it alone" Stephan said in what almost felt like anger. 
"Don't worry we will be fine"
Derek wasn't convinced himself--hell he wasn't even sure what he was doing was the right thing to do but he knew he had to make the decisions considering the people he found himself with. 
Lena *a smart but a shy girl*  Stephan *he hadn't known much about him but was now discovering he was a wimpy kid*

They made their way through the dark passage way with neither of them being able to see a thing. Lena thought "we could have searched around longer to find something like a torch earlier" but she didn't speak up. As they kept moving Stephan thought "why do we keep going when we can't see a thing? What if there is a hole in the ground or a boulder waiting to fall on us?" but he didn't speak up either. 
Gradually they started to sight light at the end of the tunnel*as far as they could see*.

After walking a few minutes they got to where they saw the lights but they were still in the tunnel but this time the tunnel was luminous with electric bubs. Derek tried to think of how this can possibly be but he wasn't much of a brainy explorer so he waved off the thought and instead felt grateful that they can see properly now at least. He wondered what was going through the mind of the others, he knew Lena was a shrewd girl, he wanted to ask Lena what she thought of the lights but he didn't want to trigger Stephan's wimpy attitude, so once again he decided to appreciate the silence. 
Going a couple of minutes more the kids came to a stop. 
"No way you must kidding me!", Stephan exclaimed with the tunnel echoing his voice. 
"Shhhh", Lena motioned to Stephan with a finger on her lips. Then turning to Derek with a look like she was expecting him to say something. Derek just stood frozen backing others and facing the tunnel that had just split into 2 passage way.
"Uhmmm Derek" , Lena leaned forward snapping her fingers in his face as if to wake him up from whatever dream he is in. 
Derek turned to face them with the same calculative expression on his face. Now is the time for him to say something, he knew it but was he gonna do what's safest for them or what was best for them. 
"I think we are gonna have to split up" he finally said. 
"You don't mean that", Stephan replied 
"Yeah i think we should stick together",Lena agreed 
"Look man we are trying to look for a way out,not that we're searching for something, so in this case let's move together okay".
"No Stephan, we are actually looking for something" Derek replied. 
Hearing his words Lena went cold and faint as her sank to the ground,she just remembered, this was just too weird for Stephan almost like he was missing something. 
"I'm sure you remember the writing on the wall Lena"
"What writing Derek? What are we talking about here? What's really going on???" 
Stephan was now going impatient and very frustrated. 
"We found something when you were asleep earlier in that room. I thought we could get out of here without you knowing about this madness but i guess you have to know..."

What if it only takes a quick nap to change your world? It may be exciting, what if it isn't?

Multiple reporters swarmed the entrance of DW-Industries, eagerly waiting for the man who called the press for a very important announcement. Reporters, journalists, and other private detectives all gathered in front of the entrance, as they began to speculate all sorts of ideas. To all the people who were aware of him, Aaron Fernandez, was a man who rarely showed himself to the media or the real world. Despite the fame, money and power, people respected him and his abilities in the pharmaceutical and medical world. Today,  such a man calling the press, was something which further anticipated everyone. 
Everyone's attention was soon drawn to the front, as Aaron, along with Winston and his body guards walked out, and stood in front a small brown podium with a serene look in his eyes. Without any delay, reporters tried to encapsulate him, only to be pushed back by his men. 
Clearing his throat he said,
"I thank you all for coming today. To those who might be wondering why I have called you, I have a very important news to share. Before my announcement, I would like to first offer my condolences to all the victims who had tragically suffered related to the 'Drug Abuse' case. A full scale investigation will be happening and we will make sure, that this never happens again." He replied as he saw multiple reporters raise their hands.
"Mr.Aaron, weren't the these medications thoroughly tested before distributing it in the market?" A lady reporter asked. 
"We have hundreds of medicines sold in the market, and it turns out that there are some who do not appreciate our hard work." Aaron replied confusing the reporters around him. 
"Are you saying that someone tampered with these medicines and sold it illegally to the others?" This time another male reporter asked. This time, the silence was invaded by an uproar, causing all the reporters to immediately note down the details as quickly as they could. This was big news for them.
"Who did it sir?"
"What motives do they have?"
"Do you have any proof of their crimes?"
 Without the slightest pause, all the reporters at once, began to rain down questions on Aaron. Despite the commotion, Aaron slightly raised his hand with a smile, quieting the commotion in an instant. 
"Remain calm everyone. As I had mentioned, a detailed investigation is going on. Even if the supreme court dismissed the case, I swear to the people, I will bring justice to all those victims and their families." He held the podium firmly, as he gazed at the crowd around him. Claps. Not from one, but everyone around him clapped and cheered for him as they all looked towards him in adulation. Aaron was well aware, that not only were his supporters listening, the whole world was listening to the his announcement.
"Thank you everyone, I appreciate it! Today, DW-Industries is about to take a new step towards the future. To those, who had been suffering from cancer, leukemia, and other terrible diseases, I can only hope those who have passed away, rest in peace. However, to those who are alive, DW-Industries has finally found a cure to these diseases." He replied in excitement as everyone around him, whispered to each other in astonishment. A cure for those diseases? With this, everyone was even more curious as to what this cure could possibly be. If such a drug was to be distributed and cure those who were suffering from eternal damnation, it will free them from all suffering. No, it would be a miracle! 

"Sir, what kind of drug or medication is it? Has it already been tested on others?" The same lady reporter earlier asked. 
"Yes, we have done numerous tests, and were able to decide that the cure rate was eighty-five percent." Silence. Everyone became extremely quiet, including those who were watching from their houses. In fact those who were watching, suffering from such conditions, were excited. No. Excitement was just an understatement, they were ready to run across the whole world, swim the seven seas and attain the holy grail. All their dreams were bound to come true. They could finally live a long life! 
"Soon, during the twenty fifth annual business summit, we will reveal the drug as well as it's remaining details. Thank you, and God bless you all!" Waving his hand, he soon left the stunned crowd, heading back into his building. Just as he was about to enter the elevator, he noticed a woman whom he was quite familiar with, walk up to him. 
At first, she rather appeared as someone completely normal. It was only when she was closer, one would notice her splendid appearance. A brunette woman, with hair dripping down to her shoulders, wearing a black coat with a white shirt inside and a black pant, which reached all the way to her ankles, along with brown colored eyes and a tint of red lipstick smeared on her lips. Aaron always appreciated such beauty. Her countenance, however was the quite the opposite.
"I just can't take my eyes off you, Vanessa." Despite the compliment, her face contorted even more, looking away from him. 
"We need to talk," was all she said. 
'Ding'
They both got in the elevator as they headed up towards Aaron's office. 
"I thought we had a deal!" She broke the silence as he looked towards her with a big smile. A smile which sent shivers down her spine. However, her anger never left her eyes. 
"What deal are you talking about Vanessa?" Feigning ignorance, Aaron remained calm. 
"Look, I close the 'Drug Abuse' case, and you return my kids back to me. That was the deal wasn't it?!"
"Ah! You're right, that deal. Well about that sweet heart, I cannot hand your kids over to you, but not just yet." He replied. Soon he stepped out of the elevator, as Vanessa rushed in front of him, standing across him. 
"You cannot do that you bastard! Those are my kids, please I even promised to not divulge any information. Give me back my kids!" She screamed at him. Aaron's demeanor soon turned vicious. Like a black sun, emanating darkness, he grabbed her by the throat and pinned her against the wall, as she began to choke.
"Well well, now I'm really mad at you sweetheart. Fine, how about this, once my new drug is approved by the government, I will then, hand you over your kids. Till then, I will still need you." Letting her go, Aaron soon walked away leaving Vanessa all to herself against the wall. With sweat covering her face, she hit the wall the extreme frustration. Despite the blood dripping off her knuckles, she stared at Aaron's back with hatred in her eyes, and soon walked away from the place.

"Baam, got you! Haha, Sub-Zero wins; fatality. That's twenty wins and zero losses." Freddy replied as he noticed Indra almost smash his controller against the wall in fury. It would seem that his super vision was deemed useless in front of this game, which required multiple combos. What use was fast hands, if he had no idea how to use the right combos? Indra had a prior agreement with Freddy to not look at combos. The usually calm Indra, reached extreme rage, finally calling it quits.
"You happy? What's the point of playing this nonsense if I cannot look up the moves. You're such a coward!" Indra grumbled.
"What are you talking about? You are like a super hero, with powers that are not normal. It is obvious we have to play fair and square. Well, how about this, I will use only one hand to make it easier for you, what do you say?" 
Seeing Freddy's complacent attitude, Indra gripped the controller tightly, accidentally breaking it. As Freddy was dying out of laughter, his phone buzzed incessantly. 
"Hello? Who is this?" He asked, as he picked his phone up. 
"Good afternoon Mr Paine, this is Richard Starling, Indra's friend. Could you pass the phone to him?" Freddy immediately rushed over to Indra and handed him the phone in nervousness.  
 "Hey Wimpy, how are you?" 
"Not too good Indra. Turn the TV on immediately to CNN news channel. It's not good at all." Hearing his hesitation and anxiety, Indra grabbed the remote from the center table and turned it on, and changed the channel. His eyes widened, when he saw and heard Aaron's condolences and his important announcement.  
"Wimpy, this indeed is not good. What are other pharma companies saying on this?" He asked.
"Positive. Everyone is going nuts about this, and the Federal government is ready to hand the patent rights very soon. Indra, if the patent is approved, this will be the start of imminent destruction." Richard replied, on the other side of the line. 
"Damn it, these people don't seem to realize, what this psychopath can do! There is got to be a way to stop this. Well, we still have another two more months. This should give us time to find out what kind of drug they cooked up in that lab. Freddy and I will come to your office tomorrow. I have to go now." Indra replied as he hung up the call. Freddy looked at the TV, and back at Indra who was ready to leave the house hastily. 
"Why do you think it's bad? Isn't it good to find a cure for cancer?" Freddy asked, as he noticed Indra, put his shoes on, ready to leave. 
"You'll understand soon enough, now there is place that we have to go to." 
"Where, and what do I have to do?" Freddy asked again.
"Fred, just shut up and follow me." Indra responded, as he began formulating a plan in his mind. The war has finally begun. Him against DW-Industries. Though he wasn't able to save his people on time, this time however, he swore to save everyone, and bring justice to those who suffered under the tyranny of Aaron's crimes.

Two best friends, Indra and Daemon trained hard since young, persevering and finally attaining the highest known realm; Cosmic realm. However, due to their differences in ideologies, Indra followed the virtuous path, while Daemon followed the evil path. 

Fracturing their relationship, they put their friendship aside and finally confronted each other. Unleashing their final attacks, Indra gets blown away, and manages to escape earth with his life hanging by a thread, only to hibernate in a neutron star while Daemon mysteriously disappears. Unbeknownst to Indra, he wakes up 500 years later.

Follow Indra, as he embarks his journey back to earth to save his people and put an end to Damon's crimes.

"You are demanding too much," Jiang Changxi knitted her brows and said earnestly. 
"I have prepared it for so long, but now it's gone." Ling Hong was so indignant that he ate quite a few mouthfuls of the Drunkard's Spiced Peanut to vent his anger. 
"Stop it. Don't vent your anger by eating even if you are unhappy," Wu Hai covered the dishes on the table and said angrily. 
"Are you a friend of mine? Can't I eat some dishes to vent my anger?" Ling Hong managed to grab a piece of deep-fried chili and then chewed it indignantly, gulping it down in the end. 
"Of course not. I originally intended to drink beer while listening to your sorrowful happenings," Wu Hai said deservedly, "I can eat another two bowls of rice when I hear that you are unhappy." 
"Ho Ho. Stop dreaming." Ling Hong stared at Wu Hai. 
"Indeed. Almost nothing could make you so sad. It's really a waste of my beer," Wu Hai nodded his head and said approvingly. 
"F*ck off." Ling Hong waved his hand angrily. 
"If you really want it, I can give you my signature. Anyhow, I'm also a celebrity," Looking at Ling Hong's manner, Wu Hai suddenly said. 
Of course, Wu Hai still covered the dishes on the table with his hands when he said that. 
"Screw you. I don't want your damn signature." Ling Hong gave a look at Wu Hai contemptuously. 
"My signature is worth a lot of money," Wu Hai said seriously. 
"That's true." Jiang Changxi agreed with Wu Hai once in a blue moon. She still remembered that some wimpy kids surrounded Wu Hai to ask for red packets during the Spring Festival last year. 
Wu Hai had never brought money with him before. So he gave each of the wimpy kids his signature. And Jiang Changxi helped those kids to sell the signatures when she happened to pass by. 
Then, she got a huge amount of money and split it fifty-fifty. 
Queen Jiang was way too idle. 
"I don't want it," Ling Hong waved his hand and said discontentedly. 
"Don't try to grab my dishes when you wave your hand." Wu Hai revealed a manner of "I see through you" and stared at Ling Hong fixedly. 
"I have also treated you to beer many times before. Why are you so stingy?" Ling Hong asked. 
"Yeah, those were your treats. But this time, it's my treat. So according to my rules, you must drink more beer and eat fewer dishes," Wu Hai said primly. 
"…" Ling Hong was made completely speechless. 
"Haha." Jiang Changxi sipped a little Bamboo Liquor and burst into laughter. 
Others were quite accustomed to the cat-and-dog scene among the three people, but Mr. Wei seated beside them couldn't help sighing with emotion. 
"It's so good to be young," Mr. Wei swallowed a big mouthful of beer and said. 
His utterance attracted the attention of Chen Wei, who was drinking at the other side. 
"You are not old, either," said Chen Wei. 
"I'm getting old. My daughter has grown up," Mr. Wei shook his head and said. 
"I still haven't got a girlfriend," said Chen Wei discontentedly. 
"I'm not saying you are old. I just feel that I'm getting old and am becoming a middle-aged man." Mr. Wei explained. 
"You were married at my age. But now, I haven't even got a girlfriend. How dare you say you are old," said Chen Wei. 
Just like Chen Wei said, Mr. Wei had indeed been married when he was at Chen Wei's current age. After all, he wasn't older than Chen Wei by that many years and that was why Chen Wei said he wasn't old at all. 
"Just because I got married and have a kid, I feel like I'm getting old." Mr. Wei said lightly. 
"Lucky that I got married but then divorced," Jiang Changxi said politely on the side. 
"Haha. Yeah, I forgot about you," said Chen Wei. 
"Anyway, I'm still young." Wu Hai shrugged. 
The matter about age could always strike a chord. Following this same subject, other drinkers at the other two tables also began to discuss about age. For an instant, Ling Hong didn't feel so upset anymore. 
Ever since the beer was provided in Yuan Zhou's pub, the atmosphere became more heated when they gathered to drink, as they could now clink glasses. 
Such a heated atmosphere continued until the closing time of the pub. At that time, the customers basically said goodbye while walking out. 
"I'm leaving." Wu Hai waved his hand and headed for his apartment upstairs. 
"Need me to drive you back?" Ling Hong looked at Jiang Changxi and asked. 
"No need. Somebody is coming to pick me up." Jiang Changxi shook her head. 
"Alright. Let me accompany you to the street corner," Ling Hong nodded his head and said. 
"The driver you hired hasn't arrived?" Jiang Changxi didn't refuse his kindness. She tilted her head and asked. 
"No, not yet. I will make the call and hire one when I get to the parking lot," said Ling Hong. "
"Do you need me to send you back?" Jiang Changxi revealed a smile and then said softly. 
"No, no, no. I can go back by myself." Ling Hong waved his hand hurriedly. 
Alright." Jiang Changxi nodded her head and then left in the taxi that had just arrived. 
"She really deserves the name of Queen Jiang." Having been teased by Jiang Changxi, Ling Hong also sobered up from the drunken state. He took out his phone and prepared to ordered a driver for hire to get his car and himself back home. 
He had barely taken his phone out when he found there was a vehicle in the shadow at the street corner. 
It was a red electrically operated tricycle and most importantly, it was running toward Ling Hong. Presumably, he was coming to seek business. 
"Zi". The tricycle parked in front of Ling Hong quickly. And even before he could refuse to take the tricycle, he was astonished by the driver in the tricycle. 
"Grandfather Jia?" Ling Hong looked at Grandfather Jia sitting on the backseat in surprise. 
"Little Ling, finished drinking and came out?" Grandpa Jia nodded his head and then opened the door, preparing to come out. 
"Yeah, I just finished." Ling Hong nodded his head. 
Ling Hong was no longer embarrassed now when he talked with Grandpa Jia. After all, they had spoken about their common interests last time, basketball. 
Therefore, Ling Hong felt quite relaxed when he answered. 
Grandpa Jia nodded his head and said nothing more. For an instant, neither of them knew what to say. 
Not until the breeze blew gently and brought about a little coolness did Ling Hong begin to say, "Grandpa Jia, why are you here since it's so late?" 
Ling Hong had reason to ask so. People who came to drink liquor at night basically had people pick them up or ordered a driver for hire and almost nobody would take such kind of tricycle. 
Besides, Grandpa Jia had never waited here for any business before. 
"Well, yeah. Take this." Having been asked, Grandpa Jia immediately took out a canvas bag and handed it directly to Ling Hong. 
It was the kind of merchandise bag with a logo Brownie printed on the surface. It sounded to be the name of a cake shop. 
"What's this?" Ling Hong received it subconsciously and asked with puzzlement. 
It felt like a notebook or something similar inside and should be valuable. Otherwise, it wouldn't be specially packed in the canvas bag. However, Ling Hong didn't open the bag and see what it was immediately. He was slightly muddled now. 
"Take it out and have a look. You will definitely love it." Grandpa Jia pointed at the thing inside the little canvas bag confidently. 
"Okay, let me have a look." Ling Hong was also very curious. He untied the canvas bag quickly and directly poured out a notebook with a black cover. 
The notebook wasn't big. It was approximately as big as an adult man's palm and as thick as a little finger. On the black cover were several Chinese characters that read Notebook. Judging from the outward appearance, it was a decent notebook. 
The market price was around 30RMB. Of course, it wasn't so expensive as the 96-year-old Filofax loose-leaf notebook produced in the UK, which Ling Hong had bought before. 
"A notebook?" Ling Hong looked at Grandpa Jia with puzzlement. 
"Open it and have a look," Grandpa Jia said smilingly, "The notebook isn't the point." 
"Hua La". Ling Hong opened the notebook and found a line of crooked Chinese characters, which seemed to be written by grade-one pupils, on the blank space of the head page of the notebook. 
It read like this, [Ling Hong: May you drink less liquor and take care of his health.]. The signature at the bottom of the page couldn't be more familiar to him. It was the English name of Shaquille O'Neal. 
Ling Hong stared at the page. The English letters of curlicue and crooked Chinese characters formed a sharp contrast. It was no exaggeration to say even kids in kindergartens could write Chinese characters better than that. However, they looked fairly harmonious together. Even if one of the characters was even split up, they also looked good. 
O'Neil's signature! 
Ling Hong looked at the smile on Grandpa Jia's face. The sentence of [Ling Hong: May you drink less liquor and take care of his health.] was obviously a grammatically wrong sentence. He could totally imagine that O'Neil didn't know what his own writing meant at all. As a big fan of O'Neil, Ling Hong also knew that O'Neil could neither write Chinese characters nor understand any. 
He really couldn't imagine how this Grandpa Jia in front of him made it. 
Ling Hong suddenly smelled the sweetness and fragrance of chocolates leftover on the notebook from the Brownie bag. 
"My sense of smell is really sensitive. Why have I never felt that the cakes from the Brownie Cake Shop are so fragrant? I must find an opportunity to taste it." Ling Hong muttered inwardly. The notebook in his hand felt much heavier than when he first got it. 
Ling Hong couldn't help asking, "Grandfather Jia, how did you get it?" 
"At any sake, I was your grandpa's class monitor. This Grandpa Jia always has some capabilities," Grandpa Jia burst into laughter while saying that. 
The cheerful laughter also made Ling Hong laugh.

Hi there I am Jade Easton and this is my origin story I will be the narrator for this chapter, so let's jump right into it.



I am 14 now. Usually kids don't remember anything about when they were small between age 1 to 4, I guess but for some reason it was different for me. I remember everything in my life clearly not so sure about the part from (age 1-4) it's kind of blur but I do know what happened. Ever since I was small my father wasn't a wealthy man. He failed at everything he did he was a failiure in his life, probably Karma bounces back right but he started to get frustated and started beating me and mom. Every day my Mom used to save me she wouldn't let him hurt me instead she took all the beating herself. My father used to say that I was bad luck, Now that I am older I can understand that she always wanted to divorce him but didn't because she wanted to give me a good life. By the time I was 4 my father divorced my mom and all of our relatives divorced our family too. Now it was just my Mom and me, Our neighbours sure knew everything but never gave a damn about any of that. Mom broke contact with all the neighbours but told me it was my life I could make anyone friend whom I wanted to, but my last life's Karma were there to screw things up for me. None of the kids in my school or my neighbourhood wanted to accept me. They were taught by their parents that I was unlucky I broke my family too, I always walked alone but the only one that never left me was my mom. I felt like I needed to sucide but I stopped whenever I thought about my Mom. She went through so much just to give me a happy life, I owe her so much. I can't die, not now, she have done so much for me I won't die not until I can give her too all that love she gave to me. I spent most of time playing video games, watching pokemon tournaments on television and reading books. My Mom could read me like a book she could tell that I were lonely. So on my 10th birthday she bought me a pokemon it was a charmander. I was so happy I just cried tears filled sith happiness, I hugged her and said I love you mom. When the kid in my neighbourhood saw that I had a pokemon now, they bought pokemon too. They tried bullying me but I wasn't a wimpy kid anymore. I sure was sad and filled with self hatered but I never wasted those 5 years (age5-10). Only other thing I loved except my mom were pokemon, my mom showed me hope, I had a dream of beating the world champion Leon and I was never going to give up.

Kid1: Pidgey
Kid2: oddish
Kid3: poliwag
Kid3: timburr
Kid4: houndour

So they were their pokemons not that interesting but sure they were in majority but would I give up.

Jade: Let's go charmander ember.

Pidgey, Rattata and oddish were defeated instantly now it was just the houndour and poliwag but they were no problem for me and and charmander we totally crushed them. Charmander and I hi-fied but those kids were toxic they told everyone that I was a bully and I hurt all of them. Great now I am even more alone. Charmander was my only friend but he was enough. Tomorrow I was finally graduating from the middle school and also turning 14. Mom and I decided that tomorrow was going to be our last day in the city and we shifted to the Nova region so that I could join The Pokemon Academy. A academy where dreams of aspiring new trainers come true. It was a new era, a era where you had to study in pokemon academies to become a official pokemon trainer.

(Fun fact: Jade was given his name from his mom also he kept his mother's surname instead of his father)
