How's school life like for you? For everyone, it will be slightly different. Some of us will experience things like bullying, others may bask under the limelight and attention from the school population. But ultimately, we are all students, attending the same school to achieve academically. 
For Jaselle and Jason, they began their schooling journey ever since preschool and at that, the same preschool, primary school and up till today, secondary school.
Their relationship with each other grew unexpectedly and many elements they'd have to tackle along the way, was becoming a factor causing their relationship to deteoriate. Will they make it out of this hell and have a happy ending?

We were now living in the heart of the Midwest... my father was a bishop in the Amish church, as was his father before him. My grandfather was getting to old to lead the church which was why we had moved here, so dad could take over for him. Five days after we arrived in November of '04, my grandmother passed away. I remember very little of this experience. I remember the rain and the cold as we stood at the grave site and the sadness that I saw on the faces around me. I remember thinking it odd that my daddy was crying. It was something that my five year old mind couldn't quite grasp. Two weeks after that I turned 6. My brother was 9, and went to school every day. Because the Amish don't use kindergarten or preschool I was still staying at home with my mom and dad. The winter months dragged on and on for me. The best part of every day was my brothers return from school. He was my hero. We did everything together. The farm my father had bought was a 120 acre run down farm. We were living in a shop building that winter as we tried to clear out a wooded area where we wanted to build a house. Before spring though, it was finished and we moved into the new place. It was the first time I experienced having my own room. At first I refused to sleep there. I had always slept with my brother. Looking back now I can see how odd that was. But we had a very close bond. I was 8 before I slept in my own bed. That June, six months after my grandmother had passed, we were called to Kentucky where my grandfather had been staying with family since her passing. This was my first close experience with death. His entire family, children, grandchildren, and great grands, were gathered around his bed when he took his final breath. His passing was peaceful but still a bit confusing for a young mind to grasp. Now another new journey was about to begin. For my father, it was being all alone in running his church. For me, it was school.

Gu Mengmeng remembered, Lea had once said that to her.
Just that that time…
Sighing, she pushed him aside, "Stop fooling around, you know I wouldn't eat you."
Lea was devastated, seeming to be disappointed by how unmatched Gu Mengmeng was. He patted his tummy, mumbling to himself, "It's definitely very yummy, why would she not like it?"
Gu Mengmeng was really speechless. First Barete, then Elvis, now Lea. What's wrong with the males of the beast world? There is an abundance of resources, so much to eat, why must they suggest for others to eat themselves? Do they think they are damned mantises?"
Gu Mengmeng sat back into Elvis' arms, looking at Lea, "Sit down, let's eat something together."
Lea nodded and sat cross-legged beside Elvis, his elbows on his knees, hands on his cheeks, smiling at Gu Mengmeng, "Are you planning on eating me after feeding me till I'm fat?"
Gu Mengmeng raised her tiny fist, gesturing like she was about to his someone, "Don't agitate me, I just gave birth and can't take scared, you keep telling me damned horror stories about eating others, if you scare me until I can't produce more milk, I will fight to the death with you for my son."
Lea shrugged, finally getting this topic over and done with. 
Gu Mengmeng scooped a large piece of meat for Elvis, "You took care of the five of us for a whole day but I didn't see you eat anything. It was probably hard on you during my pregnancy, you're tired, aren't you?"
Elvis did not reject, because winter was indeed going to be over, and the food kept in the cave was sufficient for them to consume until the prey comes out during the wet season. 
To prevent food wastage, Elvis chewed the bones with pieces before swallowing whole, because he realized that cooked bones were much easier to digest than raw bones. Rather than throwing away which is a pity, he would consume it. So, he had often secretly picked up the leftover bones Gu Mengmeng had chewed on and ate them, trying to save as much food for Gu Mengmeng as possible. 
Gu Mengmeng had already gotten used to Elvis' habit of not spitting out his bones after eating them, so she usually picked the meat with fewer bones for him, fearing that he might get indigestion and form a stone or something. 
Elvis swallowed his food, pecking Gu Mengmeng on the cheek, "How can I be considered to be suffering compared to what you have gone through?"
Gu Mengmeng smiled, feeling very warm inside. 
She had an older sister who had a white-collar job in a company before her wedding, with a salary slightly lower than ten thousand, feeling very confident wherever she went. However, she got pregnant shortly after her marriage and her husband wanted to take care of the baby at home, which she agreed to. However, once she quit her job, it was not easy to go back to work. Waiting for labor while being pregnant, waiting for the child to go to preschool after giving birth, waiting for the child to go to primary school after preschool. However, her husband cheated on her even before the child went to primary school because he had enough of the ruckus the child made and the complaints the wife had. He still asked his wife, "Which man is willing to go back home every day to look at a faded old woman?"
Her older sister said, how could he not consider the ties between husband and wife? After all, she had given birth for him.

The next morning
Xia Xiaofu got up late. She jumped out of bed quickly and rushed into the bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth. That morning, she had to send Little Xuyan to report to preschool. How could she be late?
It was all Ou Luoxi's fault.
After washing up, she opened the wardrobe, which was full of trendy female winter clothing. She chose a maple colored coat and put it on.
Just then, the room door opened and Ou Luo Xi walked in.
He wore a white shirt inside, a round-neck dark blue sweater on the outside, and a pair of black slim pants underneath. The simple matching made him easily uphold the male model style in fashion magazines. The bangs in front of his forehead were pushed upwards, revealing a pair of bright black eyes, making him look so clean and handsome that one's hackles would rise.
Xia Xiaofu glanced at him and felt a rush of anger from within, but his haughty look was torturous, and now he had even made her late.
It would leave such a bad impression by being late for the first day of registration at the kindergarten.
"What's the matter? Glaring at me early in the morning." Seeing her puff up her cheeks, Ou Luoxi gave a low laugh. He strode forward and reached out to pull her into his embrace. "I didn't serve you well enough last night, eh?"
When he mentioned last night, Xia Xiaofu's face was immediately dyed light pink. "Let go. You are making me late. This morning is Little Xuyan's first day reporting preschool,"
she said in a coquettish way.
Ou Luoxi looked at the watch on his wrist. "Isn't the reporting time at eight o'clock? Let's go down to have breakfast, and I'll drive you there. You will definitely make it in time."
"Well I guess that's the only way…" Xia Xiaofu murmured and then quickly stopped and turned to look at Ou Luoxi. "You… How do I know that the reporting time was at eight? And...you've never asked me which school Little Xuyan goes to?"
Ou Luoxi let her go, keeping silent.
Xia Xiaofu understood everything at once. All of her blood rushed to her brain, and her voice raised several octaves. She looked at the man in front of her unbelievably, "Ou Luoxi, did you know all about it? No wonder the school only accepted students living in a certain district. It was all part of your plan, wasn't it? You guided me here step by step and took the opportunity to…get me. You really had it all planned out!"
Ou Luoxi reached out his hand and pinched her soft little face. With a soft smile, he said, "If I hadn't done this, would you be obediently eating. Would you even be staying with me?"
"You!"
He pulled her into his arms and coaxed her. "Come on, don't be angry. It's all because I love you so much. I love Little Xuyan so much, and I want to be with you two. Besides, how could I not know where Little Xuyan is studying? Isn't this good? We will take Little Xuyan to and from school together. I think Little Xuyan will be very happy."
Xia Xiaofu was speechless. When did this man become so eloquent?
Besides, it was now useless for her to be angry. Little Xuyan really needed fatherly love and a complete family.
Xia Xiaofu was a little relieved at this thought, but she was still not appeased, so she swung her little pink fist and hammered him hard.

Her cell phone had a browsing record which showed that her cell phone had been touched last night.
She wondered. Did Ou Luoxi touch her cell phone?
What did he do?
Xia Xiaofu went to her text messages, which were empty. She continued scrolling and saw that there were two deleted SMS in the draft box.
She opened them to take a look.
Chen Jingyu's messages from last night and those which Ou Luoxi had sent under her name lay there quietly.
Xia Xiaofu carefully looked them over twice and felt surprised, yet humoured. What was Ou Luoxi trying to do?
The corner of her lips slowly turned up and she placed her cell phone back in her bag. Since he had already returned the text message, then… Well, he had the final say.
Chen Jingyu had helped her a lot, but with the situation now, cutting contact would be the best outcome for them three. As Ou Luoxi said, she wished both him and herself happiness.
I just don't know what kind of mood Ou Luoxi was in when he sent that message last night. The jealous expression on his face must have been exciting to see, Xia Xiaofu thought secretly.

Little Xuyan was sent to preschool. Ou Luoxi and Xia Xiaofu stood by the door and watched as she was led into the classroom by the teacher. Watching their daughter go to school on the first day, they felt both worry and pride, something that only parents could understand.
When they walked out of the school and got back to the car, Ou Luoxi asked, "Do I take you to school?"
Xia Xiaofu nodded. "Yes." She then thought of something and smiled at Ou Luoxi widely. "Ou Luoxi, please get me a car. I want to drive by myself so that it's convenient to go anywhere. I haven't driven very much in these two years with Little Xuyan. I'm almost getting rusty."
Ou Luoxi started the car and glanced at her sideways. "No way."
"Why not?" A car… Xia Xiaofu did not expect him to say no to her. With his current status, a car to him now was just a small case.
"You said by yourself that you are rusty. What if you got into an accident?"
"But I can't not drive forever." Xia Xiaofu was very unhappy and furrowed her eyebrows.
Ou Luoxi reached out his hand and patted her head. "Be good. This topic on driving has no room for discussion. I will be your full-time driver whenever you need one, eh?"
Xia Xiaofu took a sideway glance at his delicate handsome face, then murmured through her pursed red lips, "Hmph," but the corner of her mouth rose quietly, and her heart was filled with sweetness.
She liked the way he was being dominant now.
The car stopped at the school gate, and Ou Luoxi got out from the driver's seat. He went around the car and opened the passenger's door for Xia Xiaofu to get out.
"I'm busy this afternoon. I'll send a driver to pick you up. You can go to my office, and we'll have lunch together."
"Ok," Xia Xiaofu answered. She saw that there were already students and teachers coming, so she waved quickly. "I'll get going first."
"Wait a minute." He clasped her slender white wrists, then leaned over to plant a kiss on her face.


Trying to drown her sorrow with alcohol after her boyfriend hooked up with her sister, Ning Qing ran into the rich and powerful Lu Shaoming in a bar. "I need a wife," Lu said, and the two got their marriage license. 

Soon, she who became a pop star won many pretty boys’ hearts. Singlehandedly, he got rid of all her potential flings and acted innocent. Ning Qing bristled, “Lu Shaoming, what happened to staying out of each other's private life which we talked about?” Turning the light out, he came over her and whispered, "Now our priority is to make a baby."


A moment later, the host appeared on the stage. It was the vice president of the student union's President, a man and a woman.
The woman was very beautiful. She was the first to speak. "Dear leaders, distinguished guests, dear teachers, dear classmates, good afternoon. "
Lu Yilie said sarcastically, "all the orientation parties are like this. It was the same for us when we were in junior high. "

Beauxbatons | 10th January 1986 | 1 PM
Charlus and Henri arrived at Beauxbatons at 10 and were waiting for their friends to go to lunch. Lucas had already arrived, so they were waiting for Lucifer. They were talking about their Winter Break with Lucifer to pass time.
"We played on my broom and played a bunch of board games. A family friend was also there, Neville. We were four people so we could play more games. It was so fun. We ate the sweets pack you gave us. It was very tasty."
"Thanks. Your gift basket was also nice. Is the shop yours? It said Potter Sweets."
Charlus thought for a while. He had forgotten to ask Sirius about who owned the place, so he decided to ask him later.
"I don't know. I'll ask my godfather and tell you."
Lucifer entered the room just then. The three looked at him and let out a breath of relief.
"Thank god you are here. If you took more time, we would go without you."
Lucifer looked at them and saw they weren't bluffing. He put his bag down and started changing to his uniform immediately. It took him a few minutes do it, and after he was done they went to the dining hall.
While they were eating, they discussed their Winter Break. Lucas had been at the manor and had mostly just played with his older brother. Everyone was surprised that Lucas had an older brother, and so he explained that his older brother was actually in Drumstrang since he was going to inherit the Lordship.
Lucifer had gone with his father to the family shops to see how to take care of them. He explained that his father worked with Lucas' family, and that's how they knew each other beforehand.
Both Lucas and Lucifer were angry that Charlus had only invited Henri but not them. Charlus explained that he couldn't find them when they were going home.
After they were done with lunch, Chalrus excused himself and went to the library. He wanted to check if there were any new books on Alchemy. He walked into the library and asked the librarian if there were any new books on Alchemy.
"No. Not that I am aware of."
Charlus was surprised that the reply came from a woman.
"What happened to Old Man Rick?"
"That muggleborn? He was only a temporary staff. What was Madame Maxime thinking? Putting a muggleborn in charge of the valuable books in the library. I have to make sure he didn't steal anything."
Charlus was angry at the librarian for badmouthing the previous librarian.
"He was a lot better than you. You are a very bad person."
He stuck out his tongue and left the library. He had no use with a library that didn't have the books he didn't need anyway. He left the library and went back to the dorm. He lay on his bed and thought about what to do. After thinking for a bit, he took out his Alchemy book Remus had given that Summarized the last 500 years of Alchemy and started reading it.
An hour later, he looked at the time and saw that it was nearing 3. He closed the book and left to the garden. Even after 2 weeks of Winter Break, he still remembered that at 3, all his friends would be in the garden.
He reached the garden 10 minutes before 3 and didn't see any of is friends there, so he sat on a bench and waited for them. A minute later, another person sat beside him. It was Fleur.
"Fleur! How are you?"
Fleur replied, "I'm fine, thank you. How are you?"
"I'm great. I really liked your Christmas gift. I'm even wearing it right now."
Charlus showed Fleur the band on his wrist and Fleur smiled. FLeur then brought her hand below her neck and showed the necklace she was wearing.
"I like your gift too. It was beautiful, but mom was worried it was too expensive."
Charlus simply said, "It wasn't. Thanks for wearing it. So how was your break?"
Fleur was going to start, but their other friends started coming. So Fleur waited for all of them, and they all shared their breaks. Fleur and Charlotte had gone to England for the break because that was the only country that could be covered in such a short time.
Selene was a muggleborn, so she celebrated it the most interesting way. She also celebrated New Years, which everyone else found odd. It was the first time they heard of someone celebrating New Years Day.
They talked for an hour, and then they started playing a board game. Charlus wisely chose to sit it out. He simply sat and watched the others play.
Dinner time approached, and they went to the dining hall and had dinner. After dinner, they went back to their dorms to sleep. Charlus and Henri were getting ready to sleep, while Patrick had already slept. Charlus decided to write a letter to Sirius before sleeping.

It was the day after winter break and Olivia was in 9th grade. Olivia stared down at the test. "One line. One line.", she prayed to herself. "Please don't let me be pregnant!". Olivia stared at the test until she saw a single line appear. She started to breathe a sigh of relief when a thin second pink line appeared next to the first. "FUCK!", Olivia thought. "Oh fuck  fuck fuck fuck fuck! How the fuck did i fuck up this damn much!? What the hell am i going to fucking tell Lisa?" Olivia threw the pregnancy test away and took out her phone. This was her conversation with Lisa, her lesbian girlfriend who fucked her and get her pregnant:
Olivia: "I fucked up, Lisa, I fucking fucked up real fucking bad!"
Lisa: "What's wrong baby ❤️"

To whoever finds this diary, bury me in the woods next to where I buried Lilly. Where I killed her. Goodbye fucking world. It's July 4, 2006, raining very hard. Xiaotu lay in her bed, hugging her blanket with both hands as she looked at Cheng Zhiyan.
"Uh...probably about ten more years."
"How long is ten years??"
"It'll go very fast."
"After I wake up tomorrow, will I be older?" Xiaotu asked hopefully as her eyes started to close.
"Yep, after you wake up tomorrow, you'll be one day closer to ten more years." Cheng Zhiyan tucked her in, and, as he saw her breathing slowly grow more steady, he was relieved. He reached out to turn off the lights, and the bright bedroom instantly grew dark.
"Ten years, huh…"
Cheng Zhiyan lay down as he too started to give the passage of time some careful thought. "Ten years from now, he would be 20 years old. What would he be like as a 20-year-old?"
As he was pondering this, he gradually fell asleep.

Time flew by quickly. In the blink of an eye, winter had arrived. An icy wind blew all the time and the air had become dry and cold. The sun still gave light, but no more blazing heat.
Cheng Zhiyan and Xiaotu both started wearing heavy coats.
Yet…
Cheng Zhiyan frowned when he realized that Xiaotu was wearing a coat that, besides being several sizes smaller than his, was otherwise exactly the same in terms of color and style. He was thoroughly perplexed, and he asked her, "Why are you wearing the same clothes as I am?"
"Brother Orange Juice, this is called a matching couples outfit." Xiaotu answered as she put on her fluffy hat.
"Where did you even learn those ridiculous words?"
"I learned them from the TV." Xiaotu looked at him with a smile on her face.
"You should watch less TV, and read more books." It suddenly dawned on Cheng Zhiyan how harmful TV was to people.
"Besides, as a little girl, you shouldn't wear black clothes like I do. Don't little girls often wear pink clothes?"
"Are you willing to wear pink clothes along with me?" Xiaotu lifted her head up with a hopeful expression as she asked him.
"No way."
"Then I guess I have to keep on wearing black clothes like you do." As Xiaotu smiled at Cheng Zhiyan, she revealed two rows of straight white teeth.
"..."
Cheng Zhiyan had no idea what to answer her.
"Let's go, let's go, Brother Orange Juice. If we don't leave now, we'll be late." Xiaotu tugged at Cheng Zhiyan's sleeve as she desperately tried to drag him outside.
"I know, I'm coming." Cheng Zhiyan walked to his bike, placed Xiaotu on the back, and rode toward the gates to their neighborhood. He asked, "Xiaotu, tomorrow afternoon my school has an event. Do you wanna come?"
"What event?"
"A Christmas party."
"Will there be delicious treats?"
"No."
"Will there be toys?"
"No."
"Will there be other little kids?"
"No."
"Oh…"
"Do you wanna come?"
"Yes," Xiaotu responded in a loud, clear voice.
Cheng Zhiyan couldn't help but burst out laughing as he asked, "Since there won't be any delicious treats or toys, why do you still want to come?"
"Because there will still be Brother Orange Juice!" Xiaotu hugged Cheng Zhiyan's waist as she replied with a smile.
"All right, this was Xiaotu's standard response."
"Do you have a performance, Brother Orange Juice?"
"Yes."
"What sort of performance??"
"You'll find out when you get there." Cheng Zhiyan parked his bike outside the gates of Xiaotu's preschool and urged her to get off quickly. Only after seeing her enter her school did he finally ride off in the direction of his own school.
Before the arrival of Christmas, in order to establish a culturally minded elementary school, Cheng Zhiyan's elementary school had decided to specifically hold a Christmas party and had invited the city officials to attend as well.


“Older brother, what sort of relationship is lovemaking?? Does kissing mean eating the other person’s lips?? How are children born??” The three year old Bai Xiaotu loved to follow Cheng Zhuhai around and ask all sorts of odd questions. The ten year old Cheng Zhiyan was diligent and studious, yet upon hearing these three questions, first he was stunned, then he quickly ran away...

Soon, preschool was over and it was the summer vacation. Then, gradually u realized how I missed my parents, how I missed Jenny.

I used to look forward to the weekends. Because James, auntie and uncle came every week without fail during the whole summer. Most of those days were spent at their house. Soon James became my whole world. His encouraging words were all the strength I needed.

Just like that summer had ended. I was then accustomed to the orphanage I lived in. I made friends there. James's visit every week made me proof among the other orphans. I used to feel sorry for them sometimes. At least I had someone from the life before joining orphanage.

Soon, the new academic year started and some of my friends went to school because someone had sponsored for their education. But, there were a lot of us who were in the other part of the list.

Primary school states for James and he visited that Sunday as usual. Before leaving, he asked, "You should come to school. When will you start?"

I had a very little idea of how the orphanage funded us. I said, "I will have to wait."

"No dear, don't worry, you will go to school starting next week," uncle had crouched down said. He then patted my head.

I looked at James. He was smiling widely like he had achieved something very great. "The seat beside me won't be empty anymore!"

I tried to control my tears but I could not. Auntie must have noticed because she soon carried me in her arms. "You always have us," she had told me back then. And I cried.

That day, when I was playing with James at their home later, I asked him when none was around, "Did you all your parents to help me?"

"Yup! And they said I thought right!" They must be very generous. In fact, they are very kind.

"I remember my parents," I said. He soon crawled over to me and hugged me. "Jessie, I miss them too," he said.

Months passed and it soon winter. I had a visitor on a weekday. I wonder who it would be. But, when I saw James, I couldn't understand why they were here today.

They took me to the park nearby. Then auntie to me in her lap and asked, "Can I be your mom and he your dad?" and she pointed towards uncle. I still could not understand.

"Dear, will you come to our house and live with us from now on?" Uncle asked.

I didn't know what to say. "Jessie, do you like it or not? We will be together always," James said holding my hand.

I smiled and tears were trying to come out of my eyes but this time, I could control them. "I like it very much," I said softly.

"Yay! I love you Jessie! You're the best!" James was excited with a happy face.

"No, you are," I said and then turned to the three of them, "Thank you so much for everything."
And then, we ask hugged together and I had a new family.

"Happy birthday, Jessica!" James wished me and only then did I have remembered the fact. I was suddenly very emotional. This boy, I will never lose him, no matter what.

Mom and dad also wished me then and I let my happy tears fall. Then, I was taken to their familiar home. We celebrated my birthday. I was five years old then. That was the day I called his parents mom and dad. 

Since then, throughout the primary school, James and I were inseparable. Most of the time, I was the preferred child between the two of us. I would get the toy that I liked and James never once objected. But dad would scold the two of us equally if messed up something. 

His parents were a little strict compared to mine. But when they scolded me equally, I felt belonged there rather than feeling wronged. And so, they had become my whole life. It never again felt empty. Even now, after so many years everything that has happened feels so surreal. If not for James, I would have been a completely different person. Someone who would have ended up far worse compared to the me now.

"I think I love you," I told him. The feeling of wanting to be with him for the rest of the time started the day he first visited me at the orphanage.

"You do, and I love you too." Then he walked nearer, "Promise me it'll be the two of us," he asked.

"Promise." 

But was that really possible? "I'm technically your sister," I said. We were old enough to understand certain things.

"Adopted." He stressed. "What I asked them was I wanted to you be with me forever. There will be no one to point on that," he said. Were things really that simple? But listening him say them was all I needed.

I found out that I was pregnant almost a fortnight ago and which woman does not be happy? I wanted to tell him first and I did. But the reaction he gave made me doubt my entire life. First it was a surprise and then, as I waited for his response, I watched his eyes become happy. But before he smiled, a very small and indecipherable frown appeared and he hugged me tight not giving me a chance to read his face anymore. His breathing was quick and heavy. After he released me, I took in the smile on his face; only, I didn't know if I should call it a smile. All there was in his eyes was a hue of sadness.

"What's wrong?" I questioned him directly. His face changed once again. He seemed troubled.

"Nothing," he smiled and added that he was happy.

"You're not," I stated. He is not a fool to think that I would not know when something is wrong. And he would be more wrong to think that I would let this slip.

“Look at me.” I said calmly. He shifted his head but still avoided my eyes. I walked up to him and put my eyes in his line of sight.

“Don’t you know what I mean ‘every day’?”

He took a quick step back. “Jessie, what’s wrong? Why are you like this?” What’s wrong?

An ear piercing sound rang through the room. I slapped hard across the face. Then I noticed that I started crying. Through my blurry eyes, I saw his eyes tearing up too. This was yet another unpleasant first. The first time I was forced to slap him.

“Are you okay?” I asked him lifting my head to see his face. His chin rested on my head and I still did not have a proper look. I tried to move my head slowly in another attempt, but he held me tight, not letting me move. Was he still crying? Perhaps that was why he did not like me seeing him.

When we were kids and something troubled him, he used to find me to let it out. Crying was included sometimes. He did not hide his tears back then. Because, boys did not particularly cry in front of their girls, I questioned him how he saw this once. It was a playful teasing that I aimed at. But, he gave me a serious and truthful confession in return. Mentally I am the stronger one and he told me that crying in front of me never felt like he was lowering himself. That was his level of acceptance.

But everything he is doing now is in a stark controversy to my beliefs.

He spoke after calming himself more, “I’m not.”

[Target Audience]:
This story has 3 volumes. From the name, it is not odd that this is totally based on love. The first volume is a little tragic, the reason why it is under realistic fiction. If tragic romance upsets you, then this might as well.
