"Doris what is it again this morning, so it's because of a dream you woke me up this morning, why won't you dream a bad dream about me when you don't wish me well,tell me" adder Betty. "look sister Betty please am not here for quarrels, let's us pray, we need to pray against this before it's too late" replied Doris. Betty retorted " To hell with your dream and prayer,please don't disturb me again because of this nonsense, I won't warn you again, stop looking for my trouble ooh" she said and immediately turned her back to continue her sleep. Doris looked at her as someone who doesn't know anything, as she added"may god have mercy on you sister Doris, I have delivered my message to you"she said and left. Betty ignored her and continued with her sleep.
  The following morning, Linda said "that reminds me Betty I overheard your conversation with Doris yesterday night,but I was so tired and still feeling very sleepy that was why I couldn't wake, what was the conversation all about?". Betty looked at her saying" is  your sister Mary that woke me up very early, in the middle of the night only to tell me that she had a bad dream about me,you can imagine but trust me now I gave her the piece of my mind ". " no now Betty you shouldn't have,if she had a bad dream all you have to do was to pray with her and cancel it immediately " added Linda. Betty smiled and said "is like you don't know this kind of girls and what they can easily do,why won't she have a bad dream when she don't wish me well,look let me tell you I don't believe in dreams at all" she said shaking her head. Linda stared at her saying "you are wrong, dreams do happen in reality that is if you didn't cancel the dream in prayers,so my dear I will advice you to be careful with yourself and your movement and that reminds me did she tell you about the dream". " no she didn't" Betty said. Linda looked at her saying, " that is actually wrong you should have asked her first,I will ask her myself " Linda added. Betty giggled saying "enjoy". Linda ignored her and awaited patiently for Doris to come back from her morning devotion.
   Few hours later,Doris arrived and retired to her bed. Linda went to her" Doris welcome hope you prayed for me" she said smiling at her. "sure I did sister Linda". Linda started" I overheard you and Betty last night but I was too sleepy to stand up,  so I decided to ask you later,although I already ask her but you know her she doesn't care, am asking what was the dream about?"    Doris looked at her "my sister, that your friend is seriously leading a way to destruction and she has seriously influenced you".  Immediately Linda cut her short" sister Doris am not here for this please, am only here to enquire about the dream that is all, so tell me what happened?". Doris said "I know you wouldn't see anything wrong in what you are doing, anyways let me tell you about the dream, we were in a place like a burial ground or something, putting on all black Cloth, crying,in front of us was a coffin about to be buried, beside the coffin was Betty's portrait or picture, and you know what that means,she  died in the dream" she added with a low voice. Linda immediately said"god forbid nothing will happen to my friend, I haven't still recovered from Rita's death and now Betty, no no it won't happen " she said. Doris smiled " I know but is not in our hands to forbid, is God's hand,that is why I want us to pray against any untimely death in her head but you know her she won't agree". Linda said scared "don't worry I will talk to her" she said and left still scared.
   The following day Linda and Betty were together in the room reading a novel, Linda broke the silence "Doris told me the dream". Betty looked at her" so you have the time to go asking her the dream, what did she tell you? ". " Betty there are things we don't need to take lightly or as a joke, she had a dream you died and we all came for your burial". Immediately Betty started laughing "I said it,there won't be anything good from the dream,I keep on telling you that girl doesn't wish me well, you see,it has now come to the extent of her wishing me dead,please go and tell her, that her dream will never work,Linda are you sure that girl is not a devil in disguise" . Linda said"shut up Betty, shut up,she had a bad dream about you all you need to do is to pray against it,that is all,and not to counter it". Betty looked at her and said angrily "am not praying with her, she can go ahead and dream all the bad dream in this world ,I don't care,in fact am going to warn her for the last time". Linda ignored her and walked pass her sighing.
     Three days later,Betty came back from lectures and met only Doris in the room she walked to her bed and said" Joseph the dreamer,let me warn you for the last time, don't you ever dream on my head again, if you want to me dead why not come out and say it in my face, rather using dream to cover up your evil mind, see don't you ever in this your miserable life try this nonsense again " she said angrily. Doris looked at her  "look Betty I have better things doing with my life,than wishing other people dead" she said and laid down..

Linda lived a reckless life in school which led her to have a life full of regrets and agony,which made her to learn her lessons and doesn't want her daughter to follow her in her destructive ways as she tells her daughter the story of her life

"Keok!"

Leo woke up screaming.

It was a bad dream.

This happened sometimes. Sometimes there were dreams so real that he couldn't even distinguish between the dream and reality for a while after waking up.

"Well, that was a shit dream." 

In his dream, Leo was a falsely accused criminal who received the death penalty.

"Fuck."

Just thinking about it caused him to curse.

Leo sat on his bed and didn't move for a while. 

"…Wait a minute. So I was locked up for 10 years for a murder I didn't commit? In the end, I was sentenced to death."

Leo certainly didn't kill anyone. However, the evidence was perfect. There was the CCTV taken at the crime scene. The weapon with Leo's fingerprints on them. An eyewitness also saw him escaping the crime scene.

"This, damn!"

His body started shaking.

"Wait a minute. It is just a dream. Just think of it as a shit dream…"

But something was wrong. It was too real to be a dream. It felt like he really had been confined in prison as a death row inmate until yesterday.

If it was a dream then who was he now?

Leo looked around.

It was a 3BHK room with a bunk bed and two desks. There was also a small bookcase with a simple structure.

The unique dampness and mouldy smell was still the same.

It was the room he shared with his brother Ben before he graduated from high school.

'What? It feels like I'm reminiscing about a memory that is more than 10 years old. Crazy. This is all due to that realistic dream."

15 years had passed by in his dream. 

But in reality, only a single night had passed. Then what was this sense of incongruity?

"Anyway, I am still a high school student, right? Not a death row inmate?"

Leo calmed his chaotic mind and wanted to check.

"Yes, a mirror!"

Leo mindlessly searched the room for a mirror. He would resolve things after confirming his appearance.

If he didn't look like a high school student but a man in his 30s… Just thinking about it caused him to have goosebumps.

Eventually, he was able to find a small handheld mirror.

"Ugh. A bad taste."

The demon carved on the mirror gave off a bad feeling.

"Did we ever have a mirror like this?"

It might belong to his younger brother. 

The place where he found it was in the bookshelf used by both of them.

"… Phew. Fortunately, I'm still a high school student."

The man in the mirror seemed to be in his late teens.

"Wait a minute. What is this?"

Leo looked around with a strange expression. However, there was nothing.

He looked at the mirror again.

There were a lot of strange letters on it.

Either way, he was indeed a high school student. 

Leo sighed with relief.

He wasn't a falsely accused death row prisoner. He was  Leo, a high school student in the 2nd grade who lived with his older sister and younger brother. Then he started to remember some things.

Unlike his brother, who was a good student, he had a slightly delinquent appearance.

He sometimes missed school and he couldn't exactly say that his grades were good. 

Thus, he was treated as a troublemaker. 

Still, at least he wasn't a high school gangster.

"Um. Has Benalready left?"

He could smell the scent of rice cooking from somewhere. It seemed that his sister,  Helga, was preparing breakfast. He started to realize that he was hungry.

"Leo! Come eat!"

His sister's voice was heard.

Leo scratched his head and headed towards the kitchen.

"..."

Leo's eyes turned red.

Helga asked with surprise.

"What is it? Did you have a scary dream or something?"

Ben, who was sitting opposite to Leo, stared at him before shifting his gaze back to the English words in the book before him.

There wasn't much time remaining for his exam, so even the preparation time while eating was precious.

"Dust entered my eyes."

The menu for breakfast was  stew. There was only a little bit of egg, and didn't contain a single piece of meat.

Helga hesitated before saying.

"… I'm sorry, Big sis  will cook you one with meat when I get paid."

"It really is because dust entered my eyes. Also, Sis's  stew really is the best in the world, so delicious that I would want to eat it before I die."

It was a sincere statement.

He put a spoonful into his mouth and could taste his sister's stew.

It was a dish that he couldn't eat in his dream, after all.

"Oh my, this child. You'll be late. Eat quickly."

Helga laughed as she moved her spoon. She didn't dislike Leo's praise.

Their parents had both died in an accident, so Helga became the sole guardian of Leo and Ben. Despite being a flower in her early 20s, she was working double shifts at the factory.

She didn't wear any makeup but to Leo, she was more beautiful than anyone else in the world.

Leo bit his lip.

'I'll have to get a job straight after graduating high school so I can help Big-sis.'

Then he was startled.

A memory from his dream of being a death row prisoner popped up.

'I graduated from school. I obtained a job with a private security company because I had nothing useful, save my body. And I worked there for two years. Then…'

He was framed and went to jail.

'No! It's a dream, a dream! Damn…!'

Leo turned on the TV to shake off the memories of the death row prisoner.

-The prosecution is looking for the whereabouts of Robert, a prisoner who escaped from Central Prison on the 9th…

Helga shook her head and made a fuss as the news of a horrible criminal was heard.

"Goss. He still isn't caught. It was said that he might be near here. Leo, if you go outside, then only go when it is still light. If someone goes up to you then don't follow them. Do you understand?"

"Naa Sis. I'm grown up. And why don't you say something to Ben?"

"Ben is steady."

"Then I'm bad?"

"Ohuhut!"

Leo and Ben were already high school students, but Helga still viewed them as children.

Leo smiled at his sister's worry and nodded.

"By the way. That person still hasn't been caught? He was clearly caught…"

Robert. A familiar name.

He had stayed in the room next to Leo's for a while.

In order words, a neighbour.

'Of course, that was just in my dream.'

Leo knew why he had such a dream. It was because he kept hearing these things in the news every day.

"Big-bro. Did you eat something bad Robert was caught after committing seven murders three months ago, and broke out of prison just last week. So he hasn't been caught."

Ben, who was eating rice quietly, interrupted.

Leo frowned. Ben was interested in such things. This time, he was wrong.

For sure…

"What are you talking about? Robert  escaped for six months and was caught after committing three more murders."

Ben sighed and said.

"Phew, bro. Don't just read comics. You should watch the news as well. Robert was caught? The police are completely clueless. There is also a pretty good reward.. You must have dreamt about catching him."

Wait a minute.

Didn't Robert clearly get caught after his escape?

He was a complete psycho and quite talkative.

Furthermore, he didn't sleep so he talked about his story until dawn.

After two successful breakouts, he gained the nickname 'King of Jailbreaks.' The place he went and how he escaped were all vivid in Leo's head.

"Robert's nickname isn't King of Jailbreaks?"

Ben moved his index finger to the side of his head and moved it round and round.

"Hey. That isn't something you should do to your Big brother!"

"Ah. It's already 8 o'clock. You should hurry if you don't want to be late. The student manager said he would break your legs with a paddle if you are late again."

Ben got up and ran to his room.

'Indeed, a terrible dream.'

Not even the Pirate King but the King of Jailbreaks.

"If the dream is correct then Robert's accomplice should be caught in S City by now. But he isn't."

Leo unwittingly said the thought that came to his head.

"You must be half-asleep."

Helga laughed.

A few minutes passed.

"Leo."

Helga, who was eating while watching the news, starting shivering like she had seen a ghost.

"Huh?"

"… You were just talking about Robert's  accomplice right?"

"Yes. Why?"

"L-look at that."

Helga pointed to the TV with a trembling hand.

-Breaking news. The accomplice to Robert's escape was caught in S City.

Leo's mouth gaped open. He was so surprised that he didn't notice the falling spoon.

'Wait. What is this? What is this?"

The content of the news was the same as his dream. The evidence was the same as Robert's first escape.

'A dream. It's a dream! Then why is it happening in real life?'

"… Sis. Is that a rerun? This actually happened yesterday, or the day before, right?"

"That… a live broadcast…"

The words stabbed at Leo's chest like a dagger.

It was a dream, so what was this?

A foresight dream? Returning to the past? Or was it just a coincidence?

Helga gazed at Leo with worried eyes.

Leo tried to look bright.

"Haha! I just said it. It came true by chance. Maybe I should go and buy a lottery ticket?"

"Hey ~ you really scared me."

"I have to go to school. Doesn't Sis come home late at night? You should be careful at night."

"My Prince doesn't have to worry, I'll be careful. Have fun at school."

"Yes, Sis."

Leo left the house with his bag.

His laughter instantly disappeared from his face.

According to his dream Robert  shouldn't be far from here.

'I need to confirm if Robert is really there. Only then will I know if that was just a dream.'

He felt sorry for his sister but he wouldn't be able to go to school.

*A year since the Guardian's were called together to do something about Pitch Black*

"It has almost 300 years since Daniel and Katherine Elizabeth were married. They had spoken their vows in a little cabin by a lake in a State neither of them know or remember. They had no official or fancy clothes. No witnesses and no happy ending. They had been together for 2 years on the run before they married. A run away slave and a farmer's daughter," Cupid looked out over the crowd. All the Guardians, Tragedy, Groundhog, all the yeti, all the elves, and a few other spirits that they had met in their 300 years. Everyone wore their normal clothes, except Groundhog who had a little bowtie. They gathered in a cleaned out workshop with little folding chairs. Daydream and Bad Dream stood infront of Cupid facing eachother. Cupid looked at the happy couple and frowned a little.

Daydream asked Cupid to do the wedding, he wanted to refuse but her beautiful face and kind eyes made it impossible for him to tell her no. He really did like her but she had never strayed and that meant her and Daniel deserved each other. He almost remembered the couple. He had matched them in their lives. Back when he still was a hopeless romantic. You see he was probably the third Cupid and one of countless other love spirits. Aphrodite, Venus, Aidin, Valentine and many more in different cultures and places.

Cupid just happened to be a Greek man who died in America and decided to never leave. He, like Tooth, had a small army of baby Cupid's that flew around and did his bidding. He however never left field work because he liked going out and being a part of something. Unlike the Guardians all he needed was someone to believe in romantic love for him to be powerful.

"Like many lover's and dreamers I see daily. These two have decided to make their love permanent with vows. They have waited almost 300 years to be together again and they want to share these vows with you," Cupid held out his arms to show the couple.

Jack had shown Daydream how to modernize their clothes like he had. Daydream wore a baby blue sundress that went just past her knees with a sweetheart neckline and pockets. Her cloak didn't change but she did put arm holes in it so she could wear it more comfortably. Bad Dream already wore modern clothes like Jack so he kept his ripped jeans.

Bad Dream cleared his throat, "I remember the first time I saw you. My owner had sold me away from my mother and father. When I met your father the first thing he did was tell me to never look upon his daughter. Somedays when he would beat me, I would think that I should have listened but I never really believed it. Looking at you didn't make me fall in love. I heard your sweet voice before I ever saw your face. You only had kindness and you only gave sweetness. Even if you daydreamed all the time you were a very feet on the ground kind of girl. You taught me to read and write. You helped me be kinder. Without you, I would have grown into a very different person. So, I am thankful to have known you most of my life and to have loved you just as long. You will forever be my Daydream."

Daydream's eyes filled with tears, "Our past may not have been pretty. It was hard to fall in a forbidden love. It was even harder to run away from my father who I loved dearly," She paused taking a deep breath, "but nothing compared to being without you these last 287 years of being away from you have been the worst. I never want to go through that pain again. I want to constantly look to the future and to be with you always. I love you more than all the stars in the sky!"

"I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride!" Cupid said, and everyone applauded as Bad Dream kissed Daydream.

They then took each other's hand and ran between the chairs and out the doors. Since the reception was to be held in the same room the guests packed up the chairs and moved everything around while the couple got some alone time.

Daydream looked at Bad Dream as they got out the door. Married again, this time infront of all their friends with her father's blessing. She couldn't believe it. "Dan... Bad Dream, I can't believe we are married now!" Daydream smiled hugging her husband.

"I was thinking maybe I should be Daniel Dream instead of Bad Dream since I'm not really on the bad guy's side," he said thoughtfully, "What do you think?" He wrapped his arms around Daydream squeezing her a little.

"I don't care what you call yourself. I just don't want you to ever leave me again," Daydream smiled up at him. "but I do like calling you Daniel. So I will call you Daniel even if the world calls you Bad Dream."

"It's settled then. From now on I am Daniel Dream. I protect and keep the nightmares at bay. Maybe I should work with Sandy?"

Sandy stepped out the door and waved them in. He congragulated them and asked if Daniel would speek to him after. All this using pictures above his head of course. Daniel agreed and they entered the hall.

"Oh, My daisy!" Daydream said looking around. Christmas lights were hung around and a little DJ booth sat infront of a huge DJ booth. A Yeti stood at the huge one and an elf at the tiny one. The dancefloor was painted red and blue with a blended look where some was purple. Easter eggs laid on the tables around the dancefloor with flowers in the center and little candles. Dream sand floated above forming beautiful dreams and Baby tooth fairies danced around the sand. Frost flurries also spun with the dream sand in beautiful art. It was a wonderful sight and although the music was Christmas music it was nice too.

Tragedy stepped forward, she wore her cloak with a red tank crop top and jean shorts. Her long white legs and blood splattered stomach still showing. She looked like snow splattered with blood. Yet somehow she made it look good. Daniel picked up Tragedy and hugged her.

"Without you we would still be lost! Thank you Jeannie! You are an angel," he said squeezing her.

Tragedy patted his back, "Thanks Bro," she laughed, "You two deserve each other and I wish you all the happiness." When he sat her down she went to Daydream, "just remember to cut lose sometimes. You need to take care of yourself and Let go."

Daydream couldn't help but smile. "I will, you do the same. Call me anytime you need a fire put out."

Tragedy sniffed remembering her nose filled with water after her dream. Thank goodness that dream didn't come true.

"What is with that outfit by the way? I went more conservative and you went to show more skin?" Daydream motioned to Tragedy's new look.

"I'm not showing much more and shorts are better than a skirt. I have to keep my creepy appearance," Tragedy laughed shooing them onto the dancefloor.

The happy couple danced first on the floor and then slowly everyone joined in except Tragedy and Jack. Tooth also stood to the side, waiting for Jack.

The past couple of months Jack and Jeannie had little time together because they were helping with the wedding along with doing their jobs. Christmas was a busy time for both of them. Jack spoke first, being speechless was rare for him. "How are you Jeannie?" His memories had been fully restored and anything he missed after his death was covered by Tragedy.

"I'm okay. Kinda scared to live alone in my cave. I have never lived alone before," Jeannie smiled weakly.

"I honestly don't think your friends will move from the cave. It is the best place for the Nightmares and they have a home there," Jack smiled and hugged his sister. "I will also be visiting you a lot. Once Summer comes then I will only have work in the colder places and that is easy. Neither of us will be alone ever again."

Jeannie hugged Jack back, "I am glad! I missed you so much. Now, there is someone waiting for you so go dance with her." She nodded to Tooth. Jack smiled and went to Dance with Tooth.

Jeannie watched the dancing before she noticed him Cupid spoke beside her, "beautiful isn't it?"

Jeannie jumped and stared at him, "You scared me!"

"Good thing you are already dead," He laughed at his own joke. "You know this just proves my theory. Spirits can't find love here. Maybe when we finally pass on."

"You're dark. I am Tragedy and you are Cupid. This is romantic."

"Yeah, in the right light this is romance. However, if you are a man who wholeheartedly believed in love yet never found the one. Then, things like this prove that I never will." he shook his head. "I am kinda tempted to let myself pass on. You know, we are easily replaced. Before you there were probably many Tragedies. After you there will be more. So, why stay?"

Tragedy sighed, "because I love what I do. After 300 years of talking people off the edge and giving them hope, I don't need anyone to do it for me. I don't need romance. However if you do I suggest remembering romance is more than pretty words. It is a partnership. So behave and be kind. It will be hard but try for at least another 200 years. Then you can give up if you still feel that way." She smiled and took his hand taking him to the dancefloor. The party went well and Everyone ended up resting on the floor of the workshop afterwards.

This is a Fanfiction about Rise of the Guardians. It is a cartoon movie that came out years ago staring Jack Frost, North, Tooth, Bunny, and Sandy. The story I started in 2013 and finished 4 years later, is revamped with longer chapters, more complete story arc, and a happier ending! Yay!

Jeannie, Jack's little sister, makes a new friend, someone no one would have ever guessed. Jeannie would do anything to see Jack again. I would classify the different parts as

Jack's Sister- Tragedy/Jeannie's story. Takes place only during the movie. Tragedy/action/drama.

Daydream- Daydream/Katherine's story. Takes place before the movie. Tragedy/romance.

Fire and Water- Daydream and Tragedy together. Takes place after movie. Comedy/Girl flick/Drama.

The Miss Guardians- The whole crew. After the movie. Romance/Drama/Happy Ending.

Eclipse- New Characters. A continuation after movie. Romance/Drama/action/ maybe a little horror and a little tragedy.

I hope that sums it up well. Although, I love this story so I am biased.

Even though I have woken up, the screams of that white-robed woman still resound in my ears.  

What was that? It seemed so real and different from the lewd dream I was having before… Almost as if it was actually happening…

Hmph… well, then that dream changed suddenly and I found inside a strange room and in there, a woman tied to the floor with chains made of some sort of shining metal and her whole body was covered with white clothes and was—  

[S-Shining metal? A-And her body was covered with white clothes? Like, not even her hairs or face were visible to you?]  

Yeah, there was a veil on her face. She was also screaming and crying out for help. I thought to help her but couldn't move my body and then, suddenly, blood starts spurting out from her whole body and she died…   

[S-She died?]  

Yes, there was even a small puddle of blood beneath her…  

[Puddle of blood… W-What happened after that?]  

Well, nothing. I woke up…   

[W-Well Do you remember how the room looked like? Did you, by any chance, see anything peculiar there? And did she say anything other to you? I mean, other than asking for help.]  

Well, I couldn't see the room clearly and no, I can't remember seeing anything strange as well.   

The woman also didn't say anything other than asking for help and to release her…  

But it does not matter what happened or where it happened, right?   

It was just a dream…

"I'm...dreaming?" Catherine replied. 

The scene around her suddenly got blurry as memories rushed into her mind. Everything became clear, her mission, Joshua, the lab they were in and the fact that Jacques spent all his time in the dream world. She nodded to Jacques as she entered the state of lucid dreaming. 

"It took me a while to find you. That's quite the location your group has found," he told her. 
The area began to shake as Catherine's dream was falling apart. She remained calm as this has happened before. However, before her dream completely shattered and she entered the bizarre dream world Jacques waved his hand and interrupted the process. When he did that, she noticed blood was dripping from his arm. 

"Are you all right?" she asked.
"It's nothing, don't worry. However, it's probably better if we don't leave your dream for now. There is something ...troublesome just outside of here," he explained.
"Troublesome? What do you mean?"
"There is a wandering nightmare lurking around you. It attacked me when I tried to enter your dream," he said while showing his arm. 
He had obviously waited to short the wound before healing himself. He was currently a soul projection so by pouring some energy in it, his arm quickly healed. 
"A wandering nightmare? You mentioned those last time too. What exactly are they?" 

Jacques took a deep breath and explained: 
"Well, you're without a doubt familiar with regular nightmares, they're just bad dreams. Nearly all nightmares enter this category. However, there are times when a nightmare can get out of hand. Usually, they appear as a result of high stress or anxiety. Feeding on those bad emotions, they take their time to grow strong. The bad dream becomes recurring while floating around its victim when they're awake. In the most extreme cases, the dreamer could end up dying of a heart attack. When that happens, the nightmare becomes free to roam this world, occasionally finding a new victim."

Catherine scratched her head upon hearing this.  
"I see. And the one right outside of here?" 
"He's roaming around you. Tell me, did you have any nightmare recently?" 
"No, I've been sleeping normally…" she answered and bit her nail. 
Considering the recent events, Joshua must be the one plagued by bad dreams. Come to think of it, he had been working non-stop for days now. Of course, he technically doesn't need to sleep, but resting is still beneficial for spirits. She needed to have a talk with him. The problem was he still didn't want to talk about the incident with Delilah. 

Jacques seemed to understand what she was thinking about. 
"If your spirit is the one plagued by nightmares, the situation is a bit different. He obviously can't die of a heart attack but the nightmare could end up consuming him."  

Catherine nodded in reply. 
"Thank you for the advice. I'll take care of it. However, you still haven't told me what you're doing here. I doubt you just want to say 'hello'. Tell me, are you in need of assistance?" she asked, somewhat worried.  

Hearing this, Jacques' expression became grim. 
"You're right, we did indeed run into an unexpected situation. Actually, Vera and Edward's group are in the same boat as mine.  You probably lucked out finding this place and waiting for a bit. Otherwise, you would most likely have ended up like us by now." 

Catherine was shocked hearing this and instinctively put her hand in front of her mouth. Of the four teams that were sent, only hers was still all right. 

"What happened exactly? Did you encounter a terrible foe and are gravely injured?" 

Jacques shook his head. 
"The good news is, we're all unharmed for now. However, we've been taken captive somewhere."
"By whom?" 
"I have no idea… I see you're confused. Let me start from the beginning. Starting from the surface, my group followed the road underground for several weeks. We had a few incidents involving local creatures but nothing major. Then one day, we exited the labyrinth of rocks that was leading us downwards and came out in a massive area."
"You mean the forest we found?" 
"Not at all. It was a massive cave, a large open space going on for kilometers. We thought we were on the right track and ventured into it. A few hours later, there was an earthquake, you probably felt it too."
"We did indeed, it covered the passage we were taking but created a new one leading to the forest."
"Is that so? Maybe you lucked out then. In any case, we took cover since rocks were falling from the ceiling. I later learned from Edward that the earthquake was provoked by the battle between his group and a creature. They vanquished it eventually but our trouble started soon after. You see, as we progressed, we eventually saw what appeared to be the ruins of a city in the distance. Everyone rejoiced as we thought we were about to reach our destination. However, as we got closer, we were all suddenly overcome by a massive headache and eventually fell unconscious."
"A headache?" 
"To be more precise, I felt it here," Jacques clarified while moving his hair a bit to point a portion of his forehead.
As Catherine looked at the spot he pointed, she seemed to realize something. 
"I see, what happened afterward?" 
"Well, initially, I found myself plunged into a dream, but as you know, yours truly is a master at being active while I'm asleep. I, therefore, managed to become lucid and broke out my dream bubble. In the meantime, my body had been moved. I had been placed in a strange container full of green liquid with some bizarre tube connected to my face that allowed me to breathe. Looking around, I saw not only my teammates but also Vera and Edward's party. I entered their dreams and learned they had gone through a similar ordeal than me. Together we tried to establish a plan. At first, I tried to break us free but even for me waking up was impossible. "
"What about your Guardians?"
"I don't know what happened to them. I can still feel my connection to Ferry but I'm unable to tell you where he is… Anyway, seeing that you were absent, we hoped you hadn't been captured yet. I'm glad we were right about this. Vera suggested I leave the place we were in to find you but my spirit couldn't leave the room we were in, I don't know why."

Catherine recalled the walls of the lab, Joshua mentioned that due to runes, he couldn't pass through them, even in spirit form. 
"But…if that's the case, how did you get here and how did you find me?" she asked, considering the glaring hole that had appeared in Jacques' story. 
"Honestly, I was getting desperate. But be it either luck or fate, an opportunity appeared tonight. It's thanks to your dream just now. You see, my dream technique allows me to roam in the dream world, but it has another advantage: if someone dreams about me, I can establish a connection with them. When you dreamt about the party from a few months ago, my presence in the dream allowed me to let my spirit be guided in your direction. I would normally have been teleported in your dream directly, but the wandering nightmare intercepted me at the last moment. I managed to shake it off and entered this dream."
"This sounds a bit too good to be true…" 
"Catherine, Catherine, Catherine… You should know by now. I'm the luckiest man alive! No matter the situation, an opportunity always presents itself to me!"

Catherine smiled vaguely. 
"If you say so. In any case, you want my help, I presume?"
"If possible, yes. But don't endanger yourself. If you get too close to the city, the same thing will happen to you. If you don't find a solution, head back to the surface to get reinforcements." 
"Anything else you can tell me?"
"I'm afraid not, I've never seen who took us there and the room we're in is sealed."
"I see. I'll do what I can but I can't promise you anything I'm afraid."
"Ha! Don't worry, that's already an improvement. Your help is appreciated!" Jacques replied and added: "I believe our time is up. Contacting people from far away drains my energy much faster, I should head back toward my body."
"Don't lose hope. We'll come for you!" Catherine told him as his body began to vanish.
 
Jacques just had the chance to wave her goodbye before disappearing completely. As for Catherine, she forced herself to wake up, considering what she had just learned, she could no longer afford to relax in the lab. 

Catherine opened her eyes and quickly stood up. She asked Luna for the time, it was close to 7 in the morning. She was a bit groggy so she splashed her face with water. She thought about immediately talking to Joshua but Jacques' warning about the nightmare haunting him made her reconsider. Instead, she headed to the bathroom and took a shower. While washing herself,  she wondered how to best approach the situation. About 10 minutes later, she put clean clothes on and exited the place. She had concluded that a direct approach might be a bad solution so she would carefully bring up the subject. 

When she entered Joshua's soul world, she realized all the ice had vanished and the place had been patched up. She headed for the lab, expecting to find him there but the place was empty. She then saw him a bit further up and headed in his direction. She frowned a bit seeing him in action. Joshua was dressed bizarrely. His head was covered by a beret and he was wearing a shirt with diamond-like motives. His pants had been replaced with a short and his socks were matching his shirt.  He was holding a metal stick and was hitting a ball with it, trying to knock it into a hole. It looked like some sort of game. Catherine asked Luna what that was and the system replied to her 'miniature golf'. Also smoke was coming out of an object he had in his mouth.

Joshua noticed her, took out the cigar out of his mouth and smiled.
"Good morning! You're up early!" he said.
"You seem to enjoy yourself. I thought you would still be in the middle of blowing stuff up."
Joshua grinned, hit the ball with his golf club and put it in the hole.
"I just wanted to be… par with the course," he replied, giggling like an idiot. 
"... What?"
"Nevermind. The truth is I just finished my experiment a few moments ago, so I was waiting for you to wake up and inform you about the situation."

Catherine was a bit surprised, she didn't expect him to finish so soon, considering how damaged his world was when she went to sleep. She smiled at him and told him: 
"I also have important news to report to you." 
"Good, let's exchange information then."
Catherine decided to go first. Ignoring the nightmare situation, she began by recounting Jacques' visit in her dream. Joshua listened with care as he waited for her to finish.
"That spot he mentioned his headache was occurring when he fell asleep..." he began. 
"I'm fairly sure it's the spot the rune in our brain is located." Catherine completed his sentence. 
"Hmm, this is troublesome. It seems that rune acts as some sort of security system that activates once you get close to the city." 
"If that's the case, then Boris should be the only one able to enter since the rune in his body has been destroyed, right?" she asked.
"For the time being, yes."
"For the time being? You mean… you have a way to remove it from our brains?"
"Not currently but thanks to all our recent discoveries, we should be able to design a countermeasure to it."
"So…, you're gonna mess with our brain?" Catherine asked, half-joking.
Joshua shook his head. 
"No, but you are."

After dying, our main character found himself summoned by a young woman. She comes from a long line of summoners and had expected to partner up with a powerful being, like the rest of her family. Instead, she summoned a computer programmer, who from now on will be living inside her head. Powerless, he's unable to help her with the upcoming war. Disappointed that neither of them had been blessed by fate with some divine abilities, he decides to build a computer system inside her head himself.

Time passes by like a wind Xin spends his whole time reading and studying books in this world.

While he was doing this, his neighbor Sohara start coming in his house to teach him everything she knows,

Because of that, they become friends, sometimes Xin cook some food for her.

They spend their time with each doing studying or roaming at the town.going in a mall to do shopping or coming in the market to buy ingredients.

Sometimes Sohara sleep at his house, maybe because it's Xin don't want to be alone in his house he accept her offer.

But Xin notices that Sohara was bad at cooking and some subject.

Last time Xin cooking and Sohara ask him to teach him how to cook.

Because she helps Xin to his study, he generous teach her .. in the end, it was a disaster.

Xin taught her how to cook a simple dish sunny side up egg. In the beginning, everything is normal he put the egg in the pan then fry it.

Seeing this Xin thought that it was too easy for her to cook an egg that's why he let her do anything she wants.

A few minutes later after Xin finish cooking, he places all the food on the table and call for Sohara to eat and then she came.

When Xin was about to eat Sohara give Xin the egg that he cooks.

Xin happy accept it looked normal so he try it.

When Xin spoon fork hit the egg a dark, a dark aura burst from inside of it Xin almost take his weapon and hit it in his shock.

Xin silently stare at the egg then to Sohara's smiling face, he knows that if he eat this egg he will pass out.

So he divided it into two and give the other half to Sohara the ask her to taste it.

She were happy to eat it because she never taste the first food she made.

Xin just stare her to eat and see her reaction, and just like what Xin imagine she pass out.

After that incident Xin never let her cook.

For the subject Sohara were bad at English, when Xin ask her to teach him she barely pronounce the word.

Xin did not understand English well but he is not an idiot, he can tell if the word she said is right.

After knowing Sohara is bad at English he just ask system to teach him but the system only give Xin books and dictionary for learning materials.

Then recommend using modern technology so that he can easily learn.

Just like that he spend his whole month doing everything that look interesting for him, with Sohara whos following him everywhere he goes and went like older sister.

But some things bothered Xin, every two days when Xin sleeping he always dream a girl with blue hair and white dress speaking with him, but Xin can't hear what he was saying.

Xin ask system about his dream but the system only said it was classified so Xin never ask it again.

On his second dream, he awake in the middle of the grassland and the blue girl where there waiting for him.

But his time Xin was shocked that he can now hear her voice.

Xin was surprised and ask her who she was but she didn't say anything.

She said that there are some rules in this dream they can speak to each other but they can't tell there own personal information.

Hearing this Xin never ask her are going about his information.

They both just spent their time there talking to each other telling what they are doing every day.

But Xin only one speaking and the girl only listen to his story.

Xin told her about his garden, what he eats that day or about his friend that can cook poison using egg.

After that first dream Xin gain another friend, 

After he wakes up Xin told Sohara about his dream and the girl in his dream.

But Sohara said that maybe it was only an ordinary dream but Xin keep telling her that he always dream her after that Sohara believed him.

They both try to find what kind of dream he was dreaming but they can't find the answer even on the internet,

So they just let it be because Xin said that kind of dream did not endanger him.

Soon the first semester of school start but in Xin's surprise he and Sohara become classmates.

Both of them elated knowing that they are going to see each other every day.

When Xin first enter the classroom some students taught that he had lost his way but when Xin told them that he was a school student like them all they all shock.

But after the teacher tells them that Xin skip grades they all feel amazed.

While Sohara feel proud for his little friend.

Because Xin was a genius and his appearance all of his classmates fond of him.

Some girls come to him to become a friend and ulterior motive.

Seeing that Sohara try to defend Xin for some bad influence for him.

Gasping for air, she sits on his stomach. the top of him. "Princess, get ready."
Kiyohira freezes. "What?"
Rie looks down at Princess Kiyohira with a smirk. "I will fuck your brain out, Princess. It's long due."
"Wait." It's not him. She's dreaming about a princess. He shakes her awake. "Who are you fucking in your dream?"
"Princess?" She stares at him when he shakes her hard. She realizes that her surrounding is different and more familiar. This is definitely not the tower. Nothing is the same except for the naked Kiyohira in front of her. 
"Who were you kissing in your dream?" He asks her with widened eyes. "Whose body do you love?"
She looks down at herself. She's still wearing clothes, but she's sitting on his lap now. She guesses the situation quickly.
"Tell me now!" Kiyohira is extremely jealous of the person she dreamt about. She even said that she would like that princess back if that princess keeps acting cute. "Who is the princess?"
Now, he has to worry about women too.
Rie grins at him. "I was going to fuck a princess in my dream. You woke me right before the deed."
If he let her keep sleeping, she would have done it with a princess. "You are my wife. Even in your dreams, don't go to other men... "
