I walk through my dreams like I've lived a whole life there, most times they are about a recent book I read. That is one of the things I do a lot and I'm not just saying that I really do read almost all day long. If I'm not reading I am probably watching some movie or anime series, yes you can probably guess I haven't done much with my life. let's start where it all began.

Back in middle school I loved to read books so much so that when I was grounded they took away my books instead of saying I couldn't go out with friends or no tv/games. yes I was a pretty strange kid compared to some being a 12 year old in America at the time(2012 No less). when I was grounded my next best thing was video games because they told stories as well at the time my video game collection was pretty sparce using an old dell business computer that ran windows xp (let's just say I got really good at minesweeper). even before I found books video games were still present. I still remember my mom gifting me an original Xbox she won in a contest it came with one game and it was a racing game not a lot of story just races.

After a while of getting in trouble I got grounded while i was grounded so I lost games as well suffice to say my box of legos was not very entertaining for a 12 year old mainly because I didn't like to make things up myself it felt so tedious that I had to work so hard to make up shapes and other things people already. i also didn't have many friends so instead I slept, and I slept hard. I don't remember much of my dreams then but I do remember one that was about magic and there was a really dark forest that went on forever in a sea of trees, other than that though I don't remember.
A couple of months later I was officially free and it felt like freedom I got to read again, it was so much fun, I would imagine it being like a drowning mans next breath of air. I didn't goto sleep that night instead I stayed up reading, when morning came I was tired but the book just got to THAT PART that is just so interesting and catching you can't stop, i read through that day as well. after dinner I got so tired I slept couldn't keep reading.
the next morning felt so sluggish like the morning after you get drunk but not enough for a hangover. well after a week of being late for school because I was busy reading parents up an sold all my books. ALL of them like really I was almost done reading them! I never read another book until after basic training 4 or 5 years later.
things changed after I lost my collection I switched to video games and because they didn't want me up all night reading whenever Christmas came around it was games instead of books. birthday? video game. my dad was an avid gamer always tried to keep his pc updated and sent old games I could run on my pc to me. me and my dad were always great at games but I could never compete with him, and it totally didn't have to do with me playing the games for the stories instead of for the high scores(of you can't tell this sentence is sarcasm read this again).

flash forward to the start of high school I was big on video games by then my computer had upgraded to a brand new one from my birthday me and my dad built it together good memories there. I remember when i tried to play morrowwind on it. that was when I realised I didn't like challenging games i liked to play and get the story, maybe different endings (those were my favorite).

at the start of high school I didn't really have a lot of friends because I didn't have many in middle school. my dad recommended me to join the ROTC there, he said he did and he had fun when he was in high school. So I did and the first year was fun and it started with ROTC especially when I started competing. I had so much fun I spent 14 hours of day at school I woke up at 5 to get to practice went to school than got home around 7 after the other practice you can imagine I didn't have a lot of time for video games especially because all that practice was physally demanding. 

1 year later 2 year in high school this I would consider the real start of high school for you actually have to do something to pass your classes I met a girl in my math class (insert joke about about girls causing problems in highschool here [ps: this is the joke I'm not sexist]). We started talking about a lot of things our school football team things like that, than we got to books she loved to read book I got to see her library once well less of a library and more of a whole wall of books and all books I wanted to read. her name was Alex I had the biggest crush on her at one point than found out she was lesbian so we kinda grew apart shallow I know but it's high school things like this happen. anyways after seeing those books some of them I used to read myself I started to want to read again, but I had no books i was still forbidden to read so I put my frustration put on video games during this time I was playing a lot of modern warfare 2 I loved the story and the way it flowed but it was really the first game I really played on steam I have logged over 500 hours  on that game alone I got every achievement for single player even the ones for veteran difficulties and also got most for the multiplayer which at this point I had everything unlocked and was max level I loved the multi player.

at this point I was starting to show up late sometimes to practice because I wasn't sleeping early enough. I went one more year like that and over summer I played so many video  games I swear I dreamt about sheaperd in mw2 around this time skyrim came out and I played the heck out of it  (I didn't get as many hours of playtime because 3rd year of high school is the hardest around 200hours). 3rd year rolls around I've dropped out of all practices because it was all boring again nothing new same old stuff. I was still busy keeping my grades up especially that foreign language credit that is needed to graduate.

4th year felt like being a freshman again except youre the one who makes fun of the freshmen.

nothing important happened then so I graduated and I wanted adventure something new so I went and joined the US Airforce. If I knew what I knew about it than I would have waited unroll now to join. long story short my addiction to video games got the better of me some nights during training and I ended up sleeping in, combined with my selective forgetfulness  (I kid you not I forgot my boots one time). luckily I wasn't in that long so I got an entry level discharge (look it up if you don't know) after I got back I found books to read online and read I did but because I didn't have school and at the time no work to deal with

this is about the time where I realised something special about my dreams.

at one point in high school I played a game where you create your own games and other people play them but this wasn't like legos using only blocks this was a program and once they started to abandon the Lego building style I started to learn it you could import meshes from other programs like blender so I started learning how to use it during this time I started dreaming up wire frames i wanted to tell a story using this game a story without words. I spent a long time on this and I can say to this day that I am self taught at how to use blender and that I ended up really famous on that game for my builds

that was the first clue because I was spending so long learning how to use blender I started dreaming up wire frames or if I was having a really hard time with a specific thing I would dream how it looked and be able to re create it the next day.

now after my attempt at trying to get a stable job i went back to reading. It started out with books i had already read then spread and spread till I found whole websites filled with books to read some exciting some not and they all had one HUGE thing in common they were all fiction and that's what I like. the wilder the better.

one day I met a girl and we planned on getting married and we had a kid a beautiful daughter we named Angela love her so much. I don't know what happened after we came out of the hospital after she gave birth she said she was through with me and left. that hurt a lot so I went back to reading and read I did the stories around this time were mainly reincarnation stories in another world I swear I had a dream at one point i was reincarnated into alegasea  (if you don't know you haven't lived).

this is where I realised my dreams make for the best stories and I tried to write a story about a specific dream once or twice. It never turned out well. Now I'm in college for networking taking a Cisco class (super boring) so my dreams are extra vivid further making me want to write those stories out but they never seem to tell the story how I want then to but right now this one is working does this count as 4th wall break? (lol couldn't resist the humor there [and don't say it was bad because you thought it was funny at some point deep deeeep down you just don't know it])

a story about a man and his dreams that might mean he is insane or might just love books too much. don't listen to the voices in your head about this one because the pink platypusbear that sleeps like a bat doesn't like your drugs.

The hunt for the dark elf chief was smooth. So far...

"Heal!"

The two warriors, Carl and Crawford, blocked the dark elf chief.

"These humans dare—!" The dark elf chief cornered the two warriors with his unique sharp movements.

Len fired an arrow at the chief. "Power Shot!"

At this moment, Taeng showed himself in the corner. There was a tiny stone held in Taeng's hand. He threw the stone toward Len's shoulder. Len was hit by the stone, making his aim go a bit off. The result was disastrous.

"Kuaack!"

He pierced the dark elf's shoulder, not his blade. Then the dark elf chief's dagger pierced Carl's neck as the sword struck him in the shoulder. Len realized that something was strange and yelled at Crawford, "Get out! Run away!"

'Now.'

"Where are you going? You should die here." There was a person who blocked their retreat with a cheerful smile. It was Hyeonu.

"W...Why?"

"Why? If you are planning to hit someone in the back, then you should know if you can beat them. Yet you didn't know this?"

"Step aside! Why do you mean by hitting someone in the back?"

"What about 'Let's catch the chief and pretend to kill him by mistake. Our good intentions became twisted'? Wasn't that what you said?"

"...Then?" Len realized the truth and fell into despair.

The fish caught in the net wasn't Hyeonu, who was standing before them, but themselves.

"It is as you are thinking. It is you, not me."

It was a terribly chilling truth. Len pulled out a dagger and charged toward Hyeonu. He only fired arrows from a distance and couldn't compete in close combat with Hyeonu. Len could be killed in a single attack. Yet it didn't happen. Hyeonu wanted to create an indelible memory for Len.

'Don't do this again.'

He wanted to completely trample on this person.

Team Holic's leader, Len, died. He died with a body entirely covered with wounds.

'He probably won't do this again.'

"Human!!" Now there was only the chief left.

"Taeng, buff!"

"Forest's Blessing. Bear's Momentum."

The real battle was starting now. The dark elf chief's movements were swift, but they were simple. Hyeonu reacted decisively to every action. This was the end. The dark elf chief lost to Hyeonu even though he normally abused level 50 players who had priest's buffs applied. Additionally, it was too one-sided.

The dark elf chief was helpless. He didn't succeed with even one attack. It was blocked by Hyeonu every time. In the end, Hyeonu cut into the dark elf chief's abdomen. It wasn't a deep wound, but it was enough to limit his movements.

"A human at most..."

"At most... It is sad. Do you know? Hey~ you're going to die today because of a human." Hyeonu showed off his distinctive stance of a sword on his shoulder and accepted the chief's words.

Hyeonu's provocation worked well. The dark elf chief ignored the wound in his abdomen and ran forward. The chieftain's attacks were significantly slower than they were before. It was as if he were moving through water.

Hyeonu couldn't be affected by these types of attacks. He used exquisite movements to dodge the dark elf chief. Simultaneously, Hyeonu's longsword moved. Tok. The arm holding a dagger fell to the ground.

"Grrrr..." The dark elf chief groaned from the pain of his arm being cut off. No, he tried to do so. However, his neck had already been cut.

[Experience has been acquired.]

'Two levels... good.'

Taeng jumped onto Hyeonu's shoulder. Then he did a high-five with Hyeonu. It was a ceremony of triumph. Hyeonu's big picture was a success.

"Uhahaha!"

"Three inventories."

The result of the big picture was gorgeous. After all, they were professional PK criminals. The penalty resulted in them dropping a lot of expensive equipment. Unfortunately, the priest wasn't a murderer, so only a few miscellaneous items were dropped.

'Isn't it quite profitable?'

Rare items in the level 50 range were worth at least hundreds of thousands of won, no matter how bad they were. If a popular effect was attached, then it could easily exceed one million won.

'I'd love it if all of their items dropped.'

Hyeonu checked each item. There weren't any expensive items apart from the rare items.

"Eh? What is this wealth?"

Then a fairly good item came from Len's inventory.

"A random rare skill book?"

Random rare skill book—Hyeonu had seen it a few times. This item gave a rare rated skill. It was naturally expensive, very much so.

'Should I sell it?'

Hyeonu struggled while holding the skill book in his hand. Should he make money by selling the skill book or use it to possibly get a bigger jackpot?

"I'll go to town first and think about it later."

"Did you sell it?" Yeongchan asked Hyeonu who was scouring his laptop.

"Yes, I'll sell it soon. I only need to subtract the fee of 500."

"You were lucky. How did you meet those guys?"

Hyeonu explained the situation roughly. It was the story of the people who tried to take Hyeonu's items. Yeongchan thought it was ridiculous when he heard it. They had picked the wrong target. They didn't aim for anyone else; they aimed for Gang Hyeonu.

'Trying to catch a madman... Their luck was lousy.' Yeongchan expressed his condolences for those who reached an obvious end.

"Did you shoot a video?"

"A video? I took it."

"Then pass it to me."

He would do something for Hyeonu. Yeongchan received the video Hyeonu had stored on his laptop. Hyeonu disappeared into the cube, and Yeongchan remained alone in the living room.

"This person is a bit lacking, and this one can't be contacted. Shall I raise the price a little bit?"

Yeongchan was looking for someone to make a video of Hyeonu. The thing Hyeonu needed now was publicity. He needed to raise awareness of Hyeonu before his streaming debut. Yeongchan decided to edit some of Hyeonu's gaming videos into a movie. It was the original video from before Hyeonu even opened his mouth. There was nothing more to desire if great editing techniques were added. It was a jackpot.

'A jackpot, naturally.'

"Ah, found it."

One person's name and contact information appeared on Yeongchan's laptop.

"It is expensive but...'

Three million won—some people might think it was too much money spent for editing a video that was only 30 minutes. However, the value of this money... It was not expensive at all considering the value it would bring. Additionally, Ellis Movies was the top among such movie makers. It was a name Yeongchan would never have known if he hadn't been introduced by an acquaintance. The flaw of the job was that there were more conditions aside from money, but Yeongchan believed that Hyeonu's video would suffice.

"It is worth it."

Ellis—among the Arena video makers, he was known as a ghost. He selected the appropriate BGM and edited it frame-by-frame. Sometimes, he stole their vision like a ghost by using a change in color. Ellis hadn't originally planned to be an Arena movie maker. His dream was to be the director of a big blockbuster or a graphic designer who implemented virtual reality games.

In other words, he wanted to be great. Yet reality was grim, and the path he found was Arena. From the moment he stepped into this world, he ran on the road to success. It was to the point where he felt that this had always been his vocation. One day, he had been editing Arena videos like a squirrel when he had a thought. 'This is the life I dreamed of.'

From then on, Ellis' heart removed everything else, and he only touched videos.

"This is crap. This as well. Can PK be done like this? It is clearly just hitting for money."

Ellis sorted out his mail which as usual was piled up today. He couldn't watch all the footage in detail, so he only watched the opening minute.

"Umm... What is this video?"

His hands stopped pressing the delete button after a while. He saw a video he liked. The combat style of the man in the video was terribly tidy. It was a fighting style Ellis had never seen before. No, he had seen it once in the past. That's right, it was in meleegod's videos.

"Yeongchan? Michael introduced him the other day..."

'Yet this isn't him?'

Ellis' thoughts didn't last long. He was immersed in Hyeonu's video. It was a video with no editing, but it was very immersive. Ellis' motivation sparked after a long time.

"From today on, I will be this person's fan."

'I'll do it for him unquestionably!'

The video of this person catching the PK group in reverse was enough. The man's combat style in the video was full of star power. It only needed the addition of his editing.

'This is a jackpot.'

Ellis immediately started the editing. He simply couldn't stand it. It was the first time there was a video that evoked his desire for editing.

"Put this in the background here and zoom in like this! Good! Perfect!"

Ellis' hands became busy. Then Hyeonu's video started changing rapidly. This was the moment when Ellis became Hyeonu's exclusive video editor.

Hyeonu was sitting in a corner of the village. He was feeling troubled. The random rare skill book was something he was reluctant to give up even though it might be useless. He didn't think he would get a good skill if he used it, but he was hesitant to sell it. The price was expensive, but if a useful skill for Hyeonu came out, then it would be very valuable for the future.

At this time, Taeng approached the struggling Hyeonu.

"Master dude. What are you thinking about?" Taeng asked with his distinctive ears wriggling.

Hyeonu confided his concerns to Taeng as he wanted to ask someone for advice. "I have a piece of land. However, it is a land that isn't cleared. In other words, I don't know what the results will be if I plant anything in it."

"So?"

"I'm wondering if I should sell this land or clear it to build a farm."

The moment Hyeonu's story was over, Taeng said, "What will you do if you sell the land?"

Hyeonu paused for a moment before replying, "Huh? I will do farming?"

"Then why sell? Do you have no money?"

"!!!"

'Why do I want to sell this when they already gave me money?'

Hyeonu opened the skill book as soon as he realized this. He used the skill book.

The result of the gamble was a jackpot. This was truly amazing. It had an effect that would only be seen in high-level unique items. 10% defense penetration literally meant ignoring 10% of their armor and defensive skills. It was difficult to show the efficiency at Hyeonu's level because the player's attack power was relatively high while the monsters didn't have much defense.

However, the efficiency was different as the level progressed. Thus, it was a big hit. After all, Hyeonu's goal wasn't to be a mediocre player.

Hyeonu got rid of all the system messages and picked up Taeng. Then he started spinning around. It was an expression of Hyeonu's joy while it was close to torture for Taeng.

"Damn Master dude!! Put me down!!!"

"Thank you! Thank you!!"

"It isn't a waste of money. I think they made it slightly cheap."

Yeongchan also liked the post-edited video. Above all, this was an amazing Ellis movie. Yet somehow, the price was very cheap. It was an unbelievable amount of money for the industry's top expert.

"Well, this means that he likes Hyeonu."

Yeongchan felt it might be okay to move to the next stage.

'Plan: Make Gang Hyeonu a star. Subtitle: Return of the gold spoon.'

It was starting now.

An AI calling itself Schema has assimilated earth into its system. As a consequence, everyone gained access to status screens, power-ups, and skills. This AI turned these concepts from fiction to fact. It's easy to become intoxicated with leveling up and becoming stronger. To some, it's too good to be true like living out a dream.

This is a story I have daydreams about all my life. It is filled with odd things and even more things that mat make you wonder where I got my ideas.

First off a bit about me and my inspirations:

I love Anime, fantasy, sci-fi, medieval times, video games and magic. I had a hard yet privileged life growing up. Got to travel a lot and do a lot of fun stuff but it always came with a price of some sort.

You will see some of my travels shape some of the story. I have 2 kids and work 3 jobs.

Now on to an upload schedule. I will try to do a chapter at least once a week... maybe more if i can find extra time to write. I would expect them to be on either Sunday or Monday evening.

This will be a Fantasy/romance type book set mostly in a made up video game like world. It will be a slow to add new people and there will be a ML eventually emerging. I will let commenters help guide who that will be. It could end up being a full out harem type book as well. Only time will tell for this.

Abby went through the next year in a blur. She forced herself to keep studying because it was the only thing that kept her going. She stopped spending time with her friends and spent way too much time looking through old memories of her sister. 
Photo albums. Home videos. Katie's diaries and social media accounts. It was impossible to accept that she was truly gone even though Abby didn't get her daily random texts anymore. 
Graduation was especially hard. A few of her aunts and uncles had come out for the occasion but it wasn't the same. Her parents should have been there. Katie should have been there. 
Losing her parents had been horrible but at least she had Katie to hold her together. Who was supposed to hold her together now that she had lost her best friend? 
Abby got a well-paid graphic design job right off the bat and buried herself in her work. But when she wasn't able to do that, she decided to finally get to the list of things Katie had always bugged her about watching and reading that she never had time for. 
Comics. Novels. TV shows. She spent several months consuming all that media and frequenting stopping to sob as she wondered which parts her sister had wanted her to see the most. She only recommended things she was certain Abby would like. 
 Once that list was complete, Abby felt like she had lost her sister all over again. There was nothing left that Katie was telling her to do. 
That was how she ended up desperately checking her sister's old Goodreads account for every book she had ever bothered to post a review for, both good and bad. She found herself frequently agreeing with the reviews Katie had left behind. 
Even though not all of the books were her cup of tea, Abby felt a little closer to her sister again. She was a bit confused when she got to From Pastry Chef to Princess though. For the first time, she didn't agree with Katie's review. 
'If you're looking for a cute, cliché fantasy love story with 2-D characters and minimal world-building this is the book for you. (I literally only read it because someone left it behind at the doctor's office and I was stuck waiting for three hours)'
What about these characters was 2-D in her mind? Sure, Prince Alpheus had been pretty boring at first but Catherine du Pont was a riot. Watching him fall for her had actually been pretty fun even though she was frustratingly resistant to him. 
The book was in his point of view, which didn't make a lot of sense. It seemed more like Catherine, who preferred to be called Katie, was the main character. But the synopsis on the back of the novel had clearly indicated this book was about Marcy. 
Abby's heart ached as she read because this Katie reminded her so much of her own. Tears ran down her face as she laughed at some of the things this girl said and did. It was a fantasy novel but she didn't act like she belonged in it at all. 
She was surprised that things like pizza and doughnuts were included in the book, especially since none of the other characters seemed to know anything about them. There were a lot of inconsistencies like that. 
The book's Katie was a know-it-all bookworm with a weird sense of humor just like her sister. And she seemed oddly like one of those transmigrated characters in the comics from the list Katie gave her even though everyone else truly believed she was Catherine du Pont. 
Abby became more and more confused as the story went on. The only reason she hadn't stopped reading at all was because she felt oddly drawn to this character and what she was dealing with. 
More than halfway through the book, she read something so shocking that she dropped it slipped right through her fingers and onto the ground.  
"My name was Katrina Pullman but I had gone by Katie my entire life. I am not from Annalaias or any of the surrounding nations. I am from another world in a place called Arizona. Everything I ever said was from the country…was actually from my home.
"All of my knowledge came from things I learned back home. Jellyfish…politics…card games…hat looms….I want to be a librarian because that was my job before. I died in a carriage accident and somehow woke up in Catherine du Pont's body."
All of the odd things about Katie finally fit together in her husband's mind as she continued to speak but Abby felt like she might pass out after checking the next several pages multiple times to be sure she wasn't hallucinating. 
Was this some kind of sick joke? How would this author have even known that Katrina Pullman died in a car accident? Let alone that she had lived in Arizona and had a sister named Abby? 
There were too many specific details from Katie's life in this book. The author had to have known her but that didn't make sense either. Katie had been such a private person. If they multiply 540 yen to 10 million people then it means that their income can reach 5.4 billion yen each month.
