This is my first book here in Webnovel. This book is a Story Poem, it's all about how you interpret the meaning, depends on what your perspective is when you read the book so, I guess it kinda accommodates every reader. It's the magic of reading really, your own imagination is your limit. I'm game for tips about writing and improving. Phew, once again, we have come to the end of yet another book! Oh god, when I first starting writing, I didn't expect me to take this long to reach this point! Linodo, your pacing is way to slow! Hahahaha! Well, what to do. As you may all expect, I am a novice writer trying to improve his writing skills along the way as I pen down a long webnovel. Thus, I have begun to experiment on changing my writing style slightly as I go along writing this book. I'm not sure if you all have noticed, Book 1 & 2 I had set myself a minimum chapter length of a thousand words. However, for Book 3, I started to challenge myself and set a minimum chapter length of a thousand and five hundred words. Of course, a lot of the chapters in Book 3 exceeded two thousand words unexpectedly due to that change. Hehe.

Another thing that you need to know about me is one day, I hope to gain the skills required to write a story, totally unrelated to Spirit Immortal, so that I can publish it legitimately. Right now, I believe that my writing skills are still not up to par (grammar, sentence structure and overall writing style) so please watch over me as I continue on this journey to improve myself. One day, I hope that I will be able to write that story and earn some income as a part-time writer!

Well, now that the bullshit chatter is out of the way, it's time for some real talk. Look, I'm not one to hype up my future book but honestly, I'm truly afraid of writing Book 4. Not to go into any spoilers, when I planned out the entire story of Spirit Immortal, Book 4 was the pivotal point of the entire story. I'm not sure how my audience, you guys, are going to take Book 4 since it is much different from the earlier books that I have written but you know what, I'm going to go for it anyway. Book 4 will be the hardest book that I will be writing thus far and I truly hope that you guys would enjoy it!

Over a million years ago, the first human contracted with the first Spirit. Ever since then, Spirit use has become commonplace. Humans used Spirits to carry items and start fires. So, as you are well aware, I haven't been able to upload anything as of late. While it was mostly because of trying to get into colleges and dealing with my overzealous schedule of 6 APs and a few internships, I have to attribute most of my lack of motivation to get back to this story due to the fact that I don't like how this book turned out.

If you couldn't tell, about halfway through, school picked up and I was rushing to complete chapters and began producing some absolutely horrendous chapters. Being my first experience writing, I was in over my head. I assumed that I could just wing it and was proven quickly wrong. Another reason is the writing style. After writing college essays 10 hours a day, 8 days a week, my writing style has changed dramatically. I feel like it is much better than the quality I wrote in the book and honestly, I am disappointed with it. Rereading the book and trying to get back into it, I realized how unfocused it was, how it drifted and meandered along. Being me, I can not continue the book without stabbing myself multiple times with shame.

This is not the end, however. I still love writing stories and I want to continue telling the story of Xavier, Persephone, Mordred, and the Hunter. The reason for this announcement is that I will be rewriting the book completely. Working with some of my friends, we feel that we can make a much better story line and develop the characters a lot better. I also believe that my new writing style will make the story more vivid and enjoyable. We are trying to be better prepared, and have a concrete plan to make sure the quality is maintained. So, look forward to reading the rewriting, currently we are working on the storyboarding the first ten chapters and the prologue is close to completion. If all things go well and how I have given up on school (senoritis sucks), we should be releasing the new version within a month or so (making a buffer and ARTWORK).

There is more good news. We have also planned a new story that is completely different from this one. Due to my friend group (mostly me)'s fascination with Warhammer 40k, we are starting a story set in that universe. Since this was decided yesterday, details are hazy, but I can guarantee that it will be awesome.

First let me say this. I want to thank all of you, who supported me on this journey of my first book. Thank you for commenting, voting, reviewing or just silently reading this little book of mine.

I was really happy when I saw that we sometimes even reached rank 30 and the fact that we could hold this book steadily in the top 100.

In the end there are approximately 7.000 of you, who had put this book into your Collections, and we amassed a total of 3,537 Million Views! I have to say, I am really proud of this, but everything has to end.

I know on this website it is really unusual that a book ends after only 250 chapters (363k Words btw.), but I decided this is the best for me right now. 

I had some ideas to continue this story, in the Dragon Ball Universe like that soul prison, the fifth timeline or demon realm. This, of course, before Zeno's fight. 

Obviously, I also thought that his adventures would continue in other Universes like the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Btw. don't ask me what significant event would have happened there as your guess would be as good as mine.

I have always written daily and never planned ahead, which was intentional. I wanted to enjoy this novel as a reader would and therefore never knew where the story was heading.

So, if you were surprised at some plot points, so was I. 
Obviously, my reaction was more like, 'That's a nice idea! Wait, does that even make sense, *flips pages to previous chapters*. Omg! It does! *writes it down*'. Well, most of the times, if it didn't then I blamed a character for being wrong or it was a scheme all along.

There were also some parts of the stories that I was dissatisfied with in hindsight in terms of sentence structure, cringe or plot, but I won't continue the story or change it in any way. 

Although it has its flaws, it just shows the mood, way of thinking and skill I had at that moment and I think I don't want to erase that just to make it the 'perfect' story. I like it how it is.

Writing this story has given me an outlet for my 'creativity', but mostly to escape reality. It is not because I am sad or depressed, it was just that it had been a good way to take a break from everything and have some fun with my imagination, while sharing it with others.

Now on why I am ending this book. 

I didn't experience any tragedies of any sorts, so don't worry, but I still need to close this chapter of my life. (Pun intended)

I wasn't clear on this at the beginning, obviously, but writing a chapter is really time consuming, at least for me. 

In the beginning, I needed 4 hours to write a chapter of ca. 1100 words. In the end I had increased the words per chapter to 1400-1600 words, which btw. conditioned me in pumping up word counts in essays as well.

I currently need 1,5 - 2 hours for a chapter and then another half for editing as English isn't my first language.

It may not sound a lot on a daily basis as I had rarely written more than one chapter in a day, but it accumulates over weeks and months.

I even started to prioritize writing a chapter, instead of doing what I really wanted and needed to do in my free time. Of course, it was a pressure that I have given myself and in comparison, to other authors it isn't a lot at all, but it made writing a duty and not a hobby. 

Of course, one could say that I could just decrease the chapters per week and continue, but I know myself. I know that once I don't do it daily, I will neglect it more and more until only 1 chapter per month is being released. 

This was also why I have never missed a single day of releasing a chapter as I would have spiraled down until I would have just dropped it without a proper ending.

At least now, this book has an ending, which I hope you like or rather can accept. If you dislike it, well, I won't change it.

Btw. for those who give a sh*t, I played with the idea to drop this book back when Broly was teaching Kale and Caulifla. 

I am rambling, aren't I?

What I am trying to say is that writing just doesn't fulfill me with the joy that I had in the beginning, even though it makes me emotional to end it now. 
Additionally, I don't have enough time to sustain this hobby and would rather spend it to sort out my life. 
(Could have just started with that and this afterword would have been a lot shorter, wouldn't it? Guys, this is how to pump up those rookie numbers!)

I have at least three books that are swirling around in my head since years.

Alright, boy-ohs and girlies, I've tried my best, I really have, but writing is way harder than I could have ever imagined. I'm at 216 chapter, 218 if you count *******, and about 90-95% of the story has been written without much consideration for outlining. A while ago, I started a wiki for the novel to try to keep track of everything and only now am I starting to understand the magnitude of the mistakes I've made writing up to this point.

Anyway, the announcement this time is to let you know that my writing pace hasn't simply slowed. I'm just taking the majority of my time chronicling everything that's happened and will happen and thinking up solutions to the problems that I've detected in the logic of the story; or plotholes. I'll probably take a while and until I'm confident in where the story will head, I'll continue putting out a depressingly low number of chapters every week.

It feels wrong to not say anything and even worse keeping my ******* collecting despite the obvious downgrade to my writing speed. So, despite my obvious bias in wanting to keep Patreons, I'd caution everyone supporting me to only continue doing so if you're fine with the current situation. Webnovel, Royalroad and my ******* all keep publishing dates on the chapters I release, so you can keep track of my writing speed by looking there; until you feel it's worth it, reconsider wasting your time or money during these unstable times. I probably should have made this announcement sooner, considering the downgrade to my writing speed has been around for a month's worth of time, so I apologize.

I'll be putting out chapters when I can, but the majority of my focus right now is revisiting already published chapters, touching them up and documenting whatever I can in the novel's wiki page. UPDATE (December 29th, 2019)
Alright, I'm about to get really real and admit to being a really shitty author these last three to four months. Truth be told, I really did want to take time to update the wiki and figure out how to handle what I thought were this novel's biggest failings in plot holes. However, to do that and find details that might have only been mentioned in passing, I had to eventually turn to rereading entire chapters.

Guys... I'm being as sincere as I possibly can right now. I have no fucking clue how I've developed a following after rereading the first couple chapters. I understand that authors can grow a lot after a year, but it hasn't even been that long and I believe the first hundred chapters are Trash with a capital T. It's borderline unreadable (upon proofreading this tirade, this might be a mild exaggeration, but it is true to my thoughts nonetheless) and the fact that I have nearly 4,000 followers after combining the collections on Webnovel with those following on RoyalRoad is incomprehensible to me. There are still even 19 people supporting me on ******* when I haven't released squat in nearly two months!

I've tried to ignore this. I've tried to work on other books. Hell I've even messed around with fanfiction, hoping to one day wake up and see everyone gone. Like the book had never existed. But like I said, there are still 4,000 people waiting for releases. More joining by the day and people still supporting the novel with spirits stones. Even 19 who value two chapters being at least a dollar.

Every time I think I'm ready to move on, ready to completely shut down the novel to start a new one, I think about those people and realize, "I'm a fucking bitch. Just finish the fucking novel, idiot." The passing of time has only made the feeling worse, so I guess this is a message consigning myself to completing this book, by any means necessary. I won't be able to focus on another story otherwise, so this update is more for me than for my audience.

That being said, the reason I felt inclined to give up on the novel in the first place was because of how terrible I found my writing from a nearly a year ago. So, I want to stress that I'm not going chuck a bunch of shit together to finish the story. Rather, I'm going to go back and rewrite things as I continue to catalogue things on the wiki.

Last couple things I want to quickly mention:

- I haven't really used any of the money I've made on ******* so I want to commission a legit book cover. Ditch that shit I made with my lacking Photoshop Skills...

-More on the money thing, after I finish rewriting the novel — it'll mostly be editing details that make the book seem less like it was written by an amateur, so the story progression won't at all change — I plan on also hiring people to format Book 1 and eventually Book 2 into legit e-reader and paperback formats. I know, I know...

"Greedy author, have you no shame?" 

Honestly, I want to follow pirate aba's style of keeping everything free, and I will. I'm not going to enter a contract with Webnovel or paywall chapters through kindle. However, for the people who for whatever reason want to have a kindle or physical copy of this (current dumpster fire of a) novel, I want it to at least be possible. There's also the benefit of gaining new readers through Amazon this way which is always a plus. 

Like the G.O.A.T. pirate aba — check out her (I think it's a her) book The Wandering Inn — I'll keep all the chapters on Webnovel and Royalroad free. Though the ******* thing will still be in effect at least until I finish the series or whatever.

Hello everyone, I will be using this 'Chapter' to update you guys on a few things. This update section will be where I inform you about major changes coming to The Assassin's Blessing. My editor may also appear and give tips about my own mistakes and botched writing that's getting adjusted. 
The Assassin's Blessing has about 100 plus Chapters that are unreleased on Webnovel and I've been using Webnovel's Inkstone website to edit and adjust The Assassin's Blessing's plot, writing style, and sequencing. With that out of the way, I hope you all enjoy this interaction between you(the reader) my editor(Who will be going by Mista D), and I The author.

1. Changes to the introductory period and sequences.
 1a) The first few Chapters will be redone with a different style of writing.
 1b) The first time I read through the first draft of The Assassin's Blessing, I saw a lot of good and bad. Thomas, the author has been working a lot on this since I've seen seven months ago. A lot has changed in terms of his own personal skill as a writer. So before he releases anything more I asked him if he wanted to redo the story with his current skill and oh my god, you can hardly tell it's the same author. -Mista D
 1c) While this is just being used to test the reception of the Assassin's Blessing, I still don't want to release a bad story with bland writing on Webnovel. So I said yes to Mista D's proposal to redo the book. And I just want to say I love his reaction. Haha
2. Major changes to story characters and plot.
 2a) The story takes way to long to get going to the point that's we're at right now, For Webnovel at least. So I'm trying to increase the amount of progress made in the story.
 2b) There are a few parts where the story feels stagnate and uninteresting to read. So I coached Thomas on several techniques to improve the story and condense it a little. The first draft is 489 pages long... This isn't unheard of by any means, but it is hard to find publishers that will actually print and market such a long book from a first-time author. -Mista D
 2c) Yeah, the first draft was a doozy of a draft that's for sure. It is also the draft that I was releasing on Webnovel. Mista D and I are very invested in The Assassin's Blessing. To the extent that he is more than just an editor. He's a co-author and mentor to me. 
3. Consistency and story elements.
 3a) How far is Gregoria from Greendale? Roughly speaking, two hundred miles, there are times where even I wonder. I wrote the first draft without a map to pinpoint these things down on. So consistency took a hard hit from it.
 3b) As an editor, we look for a lot inside a book. But I personally look at four main things. Plot, Character, Setting, and Conflict. All of these things have to stay consistent in order to make sense. The later chapters of the book are so full of these little 'wait that doesn't seem right' moments that it's hard to tell if the later chapters are even the same story as the introduction. The magic system is the biggest part of this which is very common when dealing with things outside of reality and physics. -Mista D
 3c) I deserved that... When the first draft was made, I was going purely off of memory for who, what, when, where, and why's. I'm glad that Mista D asked me to rewrite it and thus, I will be re-releasing The Assassin's Blessing on Webnovel before continuing on with a bad story, starting from page one.
Final notes; I hope you can stay with The Assassin's Blessing and this amazing story, we both hope to have everything set back up by the end of July. Hello Reader/Viewer Webnovel.




First, about the title of this Auxiliary Chapters, I want to write Novel instead Book, but after repeatedly voicing out, the word 'Book' seem better as the title for this Chapters.




This Book/Novel is originally created by me, but of course not purely everything is original, since I'm using some of other Novel/Book Concept, but the story is pure from my imagination and idea. the Concept like Cultivator, Qi, Zombie, Transmigration, OP MC, Shameless MC and other similar thing to other Novel/Book just merely about the concept, and I will try as much as I can to create Original Story around with it.






How came I'm run into this kind of Story?
I'm usually reading other Novel like Wuxia and other similar genre at first time I got into Online Novel World, and it's spread to other genre. And that lead to where I'm thinking to write about Cultivator and Zombie combination that I'm sure the Concept it's already exist out there, but what if the MC is Overpowered but not Overpowered? Maybe there already one exist, maybe not, but I will make sure the story is really different than other. This is where the Idea lead me to try writing/creating this story.






Why you Create/Write a Novel at Webnovel?
firstly, of course because Money, who didn't like about money? but after observing Webnovel for a long time, I'm not confidence that my story can be good enough to earn a little bit money from it, but still I wanna try first. I'm really have many Idea about story that I want to write/create. So, this will be my first story here on Webnovel and in the future if chance is coming I will try write more with, of course different genre, different story and different concept. [to the truth is, this is the Second novel that I wrote, the first one already here on Inkstone but I got stuck since the novel need more research and knowledge, it's only exist on my physical book first]






What this Auxiliary Chapters?
I'm really confused too, how to use this chapter. But I decided to make auxiliary chapters as Introduction, not just about the Novel itself. so the 'Author Thought' on Chapter will only be used for more explanation about the chapter itself or other notice.






About Author?
Since this is the first novel I wrote, and I'm not Native English speaker so there will be some grammar that wrong, word that not supposed to be there and here and I hope you all can help me with it, to correct me if I made a mistake so that I can improve my writing and grammar. And to still read it with my lack of ability, I'm only can say Thank You!


A little bit information about the background world of this novel/story. the World still have the same size like Earth, but with different topography map. for basic thing everything is the same like we usually encounter in our real life. I'm just try to change a few thing so that it will be slightly different.

As I sleep, there is a voice trying to call out to me. 

"Hey, Wake up.."

I turned my head away. But the sound still didn't go away, instead the voice became even louder, Then, I felt a bit pain above my forehead.

"Write a good story, please make good books!"

I opened my eyes slowly. I didn't remember what I've been doing, nor have I found who was the voice calling out to me, and so too, was the wall I looked at which had some anime drawings plastered on with post-it's of notes beside. As I start to recall what I was going to say or do, just then, the tv in the bedroom turned on despite i was doing nothing, right I was surprised just getting up, and I remember about the book I was practising, as I ignore what happened just now, I get up and grab the phone on the stand and start typing words.

"Hello people, whoever reads my practice story book, I've come to tell you all about some stuff about this book, so here we go!"

All I could remember was when I finally broke down, my heartbeat was pounding like crazy for seconds, and I wanted nothing but to lie down on my bed for a brief rest, perhaps caused by 5 consecutive days of studying and working overtime  at my job I have pushed myself to the limit, to be honest I thought I was dead for a second, oh well, anyway, I am announcing a couple things relating to the story.

"Alright then, this story the way I wanted it to head has broken because of me, why sadly, cause of my practising and trying complicating paths for someone like me, I can't see how this is heading anymore, so it is like a puzzle with bad spellings and even different story writing styles or words layout.

"Despite that I'm still going to be posting here, as for the original story, I plan to re-write the whole thing once someone or myself finds the writing of it ok, what I mean is the way I try explaining my story's for the readers and my interest that I'm satisfied with so I could write more story's as I have a lot of ideas, but my way of explaining is awful I say."

"Next chapter is Kate, to be honest I am never going to do a word layout again, as this chapters side is complex because it's a gaming fantasy i tried from a different book, as the 1th chapter of this book is near the original path, but sad, cause the words are missed up with miss spelling words that ruined it."

"I think I might change the title temporarily or not, I just do not know, ya know.."

"I really want to get good at writing novels for others to read not for my own fame, but to be interesting to read, as light novel books that inspired me to try to write, only thing is I would like to see what I wrote or I gave a great story ideas for someone else to develop on and one day become anime."
