That police announcement fired up a round of public sentiments.
The more twists and turns a bizarre homicide case had, the more eyeballs it would attract.
The death of an iconic figure of envy who had a personal worth of tens of billions of dollars had already left the public hanging in the air, dying to know more about his death. And the addition of a novel that had been offering details of the case which the public regarded as having the ability to "foresee", grabbed the nerves of the public. At one time, the case even overshadowed the news of adultery of a certain famous artiste and became the hottest topic.
Nonetheless, "Murder The Dream Guy" did not skyrocket to fame. With the presence of pirated versions of her novel, she did not get much increase in her subscriptions as well. However, more and more people got to know about her novel.
Her pen name "Xiang Gongzi Wan" finally stood out from an enormous group of authors.
Fang Yuanyuan: "Little Wan, even I have started to wonder how did you know about the case beforehand? Hey, don't tell me that fate is guiding you or something like that?"
Fang Yuanyuan was at work and kept poking Xiang Wan at WeChat, curious to find out more from her.
This was the third consecutive day she had inquired that for the umpteen time. 
But to be guided by fate… nothing of that sort!
Xiang Wan rolled her eyes in disdain with her hands on her chin.
Xiang Wan: "If I say that everytime when I write, I can hear a voice inside my brain, and that voice is guiding me toward a direction, will you believe it?"
Fang Yuanyuan sent three consecutive "D*mn" and was dubious of her words.
Fang Yuanyuan: "My goodness! It can't be true, right? Cousin, don't scare me!"
Xiang Wan: "If it's not true, what do you think it is?"
Fang Yuanyuan: "Yes, if it's not true, how can you write a story so close to the truth? Ahhhhh, I'm going crazy! What's going on?"
Xiang Wan knocked on her forehead.
Xiang Wan: "… Just take it that way. I'm not a human, I'm a deity!"
Fang Yuanyuan: "You're crazy, right?"
Xiang Wan: "Haha!"
In actual fact, Xiang Wan herself was flummoxed.
This was exactly like the case of a blind cat running into a dead mouse, that kind of probability made her dumbstruck with amazement. 
How could she not know if she had the predictive ability of writing cases?
What she had wrote and thought, besides the time when Bai Muchuan kind of forced her to modify her plot, she had not deviated from her main outline.
Yes, apart from her main outline, she also had a more detailed plot outline.
Although those few readers did not admit that they had seen the detailed plot outline, Xiang Wan was very positive that she had written something like that.
The only scientific explanation was—someone replicated the crime in her novel.
The question was, who was it that replicated the crime?
The detailed plot outline of her novel had merged well together with the real criminal case.
But was the murderer, as per her novel, really Er Niu who had died more than a month ago?
Xiang Wan had spent the whole day in confusion.
That day was an unusual day for her.
The reviews and comment section continued to receive lots of attention. There were posts in Weibo, as well as private messages from QQ and WeChat. She was unable to respond and unable to digest all of the attention.
Perhaps the most helpless matter was, she was staying in Bai Muchuan's house gratuitously, almost forcibly cut off from society.
Other than news on the internet, she could not hear anything from the outside world.

At that time, Nanny Li was calling Xiang Wan to come down for dinner.
As soon as she saw him entering the house, Xiang Wan, who was "imprisoned" for three full days, rushed toward him.

Xiang Wan wanted to cry her heart out. "Heavens! I really feel like kneeling down to you for mercy! That's just a novel, it has nothing to do with reality. How would I know who's the murderer under the sun? I'm intending to write a series of murder cases so it's not that simple. The real big boss is not out yet. I'm estimating some five million words. Are you sure you're keeping me as a freeloader in your house until I write the final chapter of 'Murder The Dream Guy'?"
"Why not?" Bai Muchuan loosened his collar button and entered the house from her side before stopping to raise his hand at her. "Please rise, no need to kneel!"
"…" Xiang Wan really took her hats off to this person.
However, based on his invitation of being the advisor of the Criminal Investigation Unit that night, Xiang Wan's attitude toward him had improved greatly.
No choice. She rubbed her hands and followed him, from the living room to the dining room, like an obedient elementary school kid.
"No matter what, it's really absurd to live in your house like this! Detective Bai, why not take the opportunity now to settle the compensation issue, then…"
Bai Muchuan halted his steps, ignoring the embarrassed Xiang Wan who nearly bumped into his shoulders, and took a casual glance at her. "The red car you saw that night, you don't want to know who's the owner of the car?"
Red car? Xiang Wan was startled then elated.
"Oh yes! I have nearly forgotten about this. You've gotten the information?"
Bai Muchuan replied, "Yes, more than one."
After that, he stopped talking about the topic and moved his eyebrow up and down in deliberation.
Xiang Wan felt as if a cat was scratching her in the heart—she was itching to know the answer.
Hence, she made an awkward cough, and stopped mentioning the compensation. Her eyes was so excited that they seemed to be shining.
"Detective Bai, are you able to tell me that information?"
Bai Muchuan narrowed his eyes and sat on the chair unhurriedly, as if he was a VIP.
"It depends on your performance."
Performance?
Xiang Wan saw the plate of scalded prawns before him and instantly understood what he meant.
She began shelling the prawns, filled his bowl of rice, and filled a bowl of soup for him. She was like a little maid serving her Young Master.
Bai Muchuan had not come home for three days, which meant he had eaten at the canteen for three days straight, so he ate a lot during this home-cooked meal.
The two of them did not really converse with each other. Even their gazes were focused only on food, and when they needed to communicate, it would still be related to food. Bai Muchuan did not have any emotion as usual, but they got along so well that there was a feeling of aesthetic pleasure beyond words. That made Nanny Li so delighted that she secretly gave a call to Old Mrs. Bai—Bai Muchuan's granny.
As for Bai Lu, she did not even finish her meal. She ran upstairs and cried bitterly under the covers.
"Mom, my little uncle is snatched away by someone else…"

Over at the Zhao Family's villa, it was very crowded during the day.

At the "white castle" she lived in, it was so quiet as if nobody had lived there.
Outside the window, the rustling of bamboo leaves sounded like a man's footsteps, releasing a strange eerie feeling.
"What's the time now?" asked a woman in a soft tone. She was sitting on a wheelchair by the window.
"It's almost twelve midnight, ten more minutes to go," Xiao Cheng answered dutifully.
"They've all gone back, right?"
"Yes!"
"Where's the Reverend?"
"At the mourning hall."
Mrs. Zhao's face was covered by a veil, partly hidden, partly visible.
She mulled over something for a while. "The Reverend is ready?"
Xiao Cheng seemed to hesitate for moment when they heard a voice.
"Amitabha," said a bald monk donned in monk robes and cassock who came in through the door.
"Mrs. Zhao, everything is ready."
In this age, feudal superstition had long been abandoned. A lot of families do not conduct religious rites for funerals anymore.
However, although Mrs. Zhao did not attend the funeral, she had made sure her husband's funeral to be exceptionally grand.
The seventh day of a person's death was also known as "the return of one's spirit". It was said that the spirit of the deceased would be coming home on this day to bid farewell to their family members. The seventh day was the last day for the spirit to stay in the living world. According to customs, relatives would lay a layer of plant ash on the ground and then stay away from it. On the next day, wherever the spirit passed by, there would be footprints on the plant ash.
This custom was known as "collect footprints".
People like Mrs. Zhao who was highly educated should not have believed in such superstition.
But not only did she believe it, she actually seemed to believe in it deeply.
She had specially invited the eminent monk to conduct funeral rites and deliver sermons for Mr. Zhao, as well as "collect footprints".
Mrs. Zhao completely followed the instructions of the eminent monk. Not only were the plant ash scattered from the doorsteps, joss paper was also stuck on a bamboo pole every ten feet to guide the spirit. Mr. Zhao's favorite food and fruits were placed at the garage where he was found dead. Joss sticks and candles were lighted all the way to his room.
It was said that by doing so, he would enter the house to spend his last night in the world of the living.
"Mrs. Zhao, it's almost time now," said the eminent monk.
"Xiao Cheng, off the lights."
"Yes, Mrs. Zhao."
The wind blew gently, Mrs. Zhao's voice sounded lighter than a ghost when scattered in the wind.
"Will he really… come back?"
All the lights went out, and the white castle instantly darkened.
The oil lamp laid on the path seemed to flash a ghastly glow.
Somehow, the atmosphere started to become spooky as they hid behind the chiffon curtain in the living room.
Thump! Thump! Not sure whose heartbeat was that.
Mrs. Zhao stood motionless as she held her breath.
The eminent monk sat on the cattail hassock, his hands folded, silently chanting the scriptures.
Dong—!
The clock at the living room chimed.
It was now midnight at 12 o'clock sharp!
The half-closed door was blown open by the wind.
A gust of hair-raising wind blew into the house. At the dark doorway, no one was there.
Mrs. Zhao's gaze was fixated on the door without blinking. Slowly, she really saw a shadow moving toward the house.
There were no lights. The dark house was as if the dark night itself, No one could see the face of the that shadow, but that figure and built, that style of apparel… without a doubt, it must be Mr. Zhao.

Aspiring author Xiang Wan was deemed hopeless by her family and better off married when her fourth novel still did not do well. 
Just as she started to doubt herself and wonder if she should continue to pursue her dream as an author, things take an unexpected turn when a dazzling guy appears before her and she was taken away by the police as a prime suspect of a murder case.
A murder had taken place and the details were eerily similar to her mystery novel. 
From then on, her life turned topsy-turvy.

Translator Review:
This is a novel encompassed with mystery, ethics, family ties, and romance. Of course, the highlights of this book are the murder cases. 
Although it’s a modern setup where none of the characters have a system or any other cheats, the Author managed to delight me with her writing, creative plots and a good pace without dragging her story. 
I marvel at the way the Author links up the clues and plot to explain the individual cases as well as paving the way to unravel the huge conspiracy behind the individual murders. Romantic plots are light-hearted so readers could take a breather from the plots of gruesome murders.

Alright, alright. I'm doing it. I'll let y'all know what's going on with me these weeks. This has been the skeleton in the closet of my life for the past month and quite frankly I'm just embarrassed at this point that I couldn't take the most basic steps of responsibility and inform you what happened. For this horrendous delay, I'm sorry. I have no excuse. This is 3 weeks overdue. 
So, going back to the beginning. I got pretty depressed for about 3 days and didn't write for those 3 days then went to the doctor's and got told to see a therapist. I mean, I really didn't want to and was about 90% sure all worries in my life were stemming from this so I just completely shut myself away from Webnovel.
A week later, I was feeling better and quite refreshed. I had been getting out and enjoying life again (I had been either in school, writing, or asleep for maybe 80 to 90% of my life before and my grades were suffering.) That's clearly not sustainable and I was stupid for not realizing it. However, during this time period I had an introspection of sorts and realized with a profound epiphany that I hate this novel.
Seriously- to the bones. It was a nascent idea a few years back that I wanted to bring to life on the paper but God I was clueless. Really, I butchered this poor novel. There was so much I could have easily done better and now I just want to put it past me.
Rigel's character is slowly mutating out of my control, the story just really went nowhere I wanted it to, and the initial 15 chapters suck so bad for myriad reasons that it puts me to shame to publish them on here. There was also the fact that I think I strove to be "different" so hard that just a messy story with watery characters and world-building/plot arose.
Could I have just kept going at this rate and tried to slowly fix it? Honestly, yes. I was very excited to, in fact, but somewhere between the idea and the act I lost my drive and became disillusioned. I have about 700 words of the latest chapter written up on the document right now that I physically cannot bring myself to touch.
So what's going on with me and Astrae now? Well, I have no intentions on touching this radioactive waste for a while lest I myself get contaminated. It's going on "Hiatus" but I most likely won't touch it ever again.
The story still happened, though, and that follows in line with my next upcoming novel: Ascending the Tower of Worlds. This one takes place a few (insert large number here) years after Astrae and on a completely different galaxy, even, but will contain some of the lore and results of Astrae.
What will I do differently as an author that will hopefully keep the issues that popped up with Astrae down and away from this new ATW? Well, I believe that Astrae was a really good dip in the water in terms of writing something super long-form. I have really only written essays and short stories that were no longer than 3 thousand words before this all. 1: I will keep everything consistent. No super weird tonal shifts and just weird stuff in general, really. 2: I will put more effort into developing human characters that are believable people, even the extras. 3: I will keep a good outline to work off of so I don't get lost in the plot. 4: I will make a normal protagonist that will gradually grow into a different person that can be emphasized with. I really still hate Rigel as a person and character and I hope he dies.
Ascending the Tower of Worlds is in the works right now. It will be quite different from Astrae. It will have western cultivation elements and will place alchemy in the foreground. The general gist of the plot is much like Tower of God and Sword Art Online mostly: climb up. There will be over 100 worlds for me to create to my heart's content so there should be some really fun things to write about.
I plan on having the outlining and other alpha materials done by the start of next weekend. That means the day of release will be sometime next weekend unless something huge pops up for some weird reason.

Daily lesson in Latin! "Astrum" is a poetic term that can mean "star", "heaven", "glory", "constellation", or "immortality"; all of which pertain to the story one way or another. "Irae" (in this context) is the genitive singular form of "ira", which means "ire", "anger", or "wrath". The genitive form means that, in English, "of" would be added in front of the noun. So, "ira" (wrath), pertaining to "astrum"(star/immortal/heavens) is translated as "The Star of Wrath", "The Immortal of Wrath", or "The Heavens of Wrath". As for which pertains to the story best, I'll leave that up to you to decide.

I'm not sure if people actually still read this novel.

It was a long time since I started this novel to try and start something but in the end I just felt immense disappointment for the result.

Soon school exams started to pile up like right now and I just completely dropped this book.

I try to make any short stories connected to my main novel (this book).

In the end I wrote an entry for a Halloween Discord Competition that made me accidentally won (The link is in the author's thoughts)

For the past few months that I haven't been writing, I instead focused on creating an outline for other novels that were connected to this.

In order to do that I tried to dabble in philosophy and religion which my head just couldn't cope.

I finally gathered my resolve to finally start writing seriously again and so I started 8 Lives of Sins.

Essentially it's about a person who is the reincarnation of 7 serious sins in Christianity that now has to kill an entity of 7 Virtues.

Tasked with this, the person questions his life and at the very end I will write about a surprising character that walks into their fight.

Read if you're curious otherwise thank you for even reading this book in the first place.

The protagonist, Kaito discards his last name to embrace a new life and rid of the misfortune he has cause. 4 unfortunate deaths surround him just for living. With the whisper of a clown and the teachings of his master this could have been avoided, so why did you kept quiet?

With the death of his master he rejects his humanity with the alluring voice of the Pierrot "Receive power at the cost of mortality" "is it your humanity that refuses to accept?" "Take it". The laughter of insanity, chuckle of madness and the echo of a lunatic. 

Watch as he dons a mask to hide his emotions only to eventually shed the false veil of cruelty. Witness his acceptance of the truth.

Whelp, I guess this is the end (for now at least). I remember back two months ago when I was writing my first work, the fanfic for Chojusen, I said something along the lines of  "I want to be known as the dumb dumb Author who finishes his novels and doesn't quit just because he "fell off..." And as I reflect on the decision I'm making right flipping now, I'm just as disappointed in myself as you guys. It's just, I'm not quitting because I fell off, rather, my lack of taking off in the first place is what's destroying what little motivation I have for writing this novel.

I don't know if you can understand what it's like to watch as the days go by and your work never makes any progress. What it's like to see other novels take off while yours is abandoned. Now, hopefully I don't offend any other authors on the site with words like the ones I'm throwing around right now, if your novel has taken off its more likely than not that you are competent as a writer and your work is deserving of its attention. I'm probably just coming off as a whiny bitch for being unsuccessful in my first venture as an original writer and to an extent, even I agree with that sentiment. It's just, I what to express myself in as open a manner as can be and realizing my frustrations through writing like this is what I feel helps.

I'm pretty sure I contributed in a large part to why my novel is so unpopular. I mean I started off with a message to everyone that it wouldn't be updating for a while and even after coming back I had to take another stop to go to Cuba. I give my own novels sub par review scores and even admit that I have no confidence in them. To anyone with even a modicum of logic, these are red flags and I'm not surprised that many people have turned away from reading.

However, for the last two or so months I've released almost 200,000 words and 112 chapters. And for the better part of those two months It's felt like I've been writing for no one. Sure the view counts update by the everyday and my collections count increase as well. But it's truly depressing to see only three or four comments per chapter; even though they are extremely appreciated. Honestly, if it weren't for the two or three people a see coming back every day — even if it is just to say "thanks for the chapter" — I wouldn't have made it for this long.

Even back when I was writing the other novel, where I would get things about the canonical story wrong or when I made a decision that didn't sit right with some of the readers, getting mean/harsh comments would be infinitely better for my motivation — and I'm assuming other authors as well — than just silence.

Well, that's enough of that nonsense so here's what I've decided to do. Writing this novel, even before I began publishing, is grating as I feel no confidence in my skills as an author and that has only further declined with how little interest the novel has amassed over the two months. It's gotten to the point where I literally write to meet the quota I set up for myself of 1 chapter a day and for bonus opportunities like power stone incentives. (Wait this is still rambling! Sorry...)

Anyways, the problem with motivation is more impactful than you guys can imagine as I literally know what to write next and how the story should progress, but just sitting before my computer and trying to type for what I've already doomed to failure causes distractions to magically manifest; like when you have homework and just so happen to find a dozen videos you'd much rather watch than do your duty. 

Thus, I'm deciding to not "drop" the novel and only put it on hiatus for now. Maybe if I become less whiny in the future and my career as an writer doesn't tank, I'll return to continue updating the story… But for now, I think I'll move on to enter in the webnovel weekly contests and write stories that gain an actual audience. If all else fails, I can somewhat confidently say that I'll return to this story eventually as I'm done with its outline and whatnot. The only thing I ask of you is to forgive me for wasting your time like so many other authors who don't finish their work and to remember that I'll eventually come back to finish what I started; maybe not now or in a year but eventually, I'll come to finish this story… 

P.S. I'll be writing under another pseudonym for a while, else the bad reputation I just created might come to haunt me if I do get successful. So, if you're still a "fan" of either me or this story, sorry you won't be able to find what I'm working on for now… (The characters I write might be dense and stupid, but I think this shameless move is the most pragmatic.)

Though I'm shameless and cowardly, I'd rather not waste other people's time; at least not now that I'm discontinuing production for this novel. Hey everyone! Welcome to my first Q&A, and let's not waste time, but get right to it! 

1. JinxXaphyre. Love the story and look forward to every chapter, always hoping for a mass release lol. my question is, why a fox? 
Thanks! And at the time, I had stumbled upon a translated novel about a fox consort which had around ten chapters, but in those ten a love triangle was already being introduced, and I was quite unhappy with that development. Thus, I picked the idea of a girl turned into a fox, chose a baby fennec as her form since they're just the cutest, and here we are ^^

2. Andrwood. I will not ask the original question. Why did you start writing a novel? What about other novels? You will write something after the end of this story. 
The answer to the first question is really simple - I LOVE writing. I started writing when I was around ten. First it was in my notebooks, then I stopped around the end of middle school, then began again at the end of high school but this time online, then stopped again, then restarted it with Fox Life. It's a long story, lol, and one wrought with trouble. 
I have two other novels online under another name - DarkSun in rrl. Flight of Icarus is my self-proclaimed masterpiece, Dream Chaser had a good premise, while Stories of the Wide World is just oneshots I wrote at some point in time. What concerns future, I will certainly be writing something, but as to what, who knows. I have ideas for various different stories - some of them deal with Virtual Reality, some with witches, some with surviving in an apocalypse, and some more cliche and simple ones like a contractual marriage or finding a stray cat who turns out to be a shapeshifter. Or maybe even something else. It all depends on what I'll be interested in the most once I finish Fox Life xD

3. Deviii. I want to ask if you will ever explain the reason, in the coming chapters that what exactly was the reason of her turning into a fox.. as in a hypothesis about it? 
I can't say it here, but yes, it will be explained. This is what the next arc will be all about. 

4. MilkOfCow. Easily my favorite book on the app - I was curious what kind of prewriting do you use? 
Thanks, and haha… I'm not really good with this stage of novel writing. I started Fox Life on a whim, truth be told. Some twenty chapters in, however, I realized that it couldn't work like that and made an outline. Some fifty chapters later, I decided I didn't like it much and stopped following every detail of it. Currently, I have an idea for an overarching plot, like currently it's Gale and Elise's mini-arc while the major arc is still Dioscuri being in trouble which started some time ago. Besides that, I'm writing chapters on a day-to-day basis, thinking up an idea for the next day before going to sleep and writing it down in the morning before I need to leave for classes.

He's lying around wherever he finds it comfortable and hiding from people. He doesn't feel happy with half his side being shaved off and is waiting for it to grow back.

Hey! And as I mentioned before, part of it was me not being happy how almost every romance novel contained a love triangle while the other half was just me trying to test myself. I've never tried writing a romance before, and I wanted to see how it goes. To not make it too hard on myself, I chose a comparably simple setting of a rich CEO and an easy-going girl of common lineage, but since I'm addicted to fantasy, I just had to spice it up somehow. And that's how Iris ended up as a fox. 
Oh! I might as well mention a random tidbit. I once had a cat, and its name was Iris. She was a really smart little devil.

Hey, guys.  I have some unpleasant news to discuss.

I first created this novel to enter a biweekly writing prompts contest hosted by Webnovel.  Starting three days late,  I felt that I didn't have time to create a proper outline for the novel so I hopped right in.  This has resulted in a myriad of problems popping up with regards to story progression and the overall quality of the book.

Now that I have a bit of time since the contest is over. I want to work on a few things before the novel gets too far along.  I'll mainly be outlining arcs, villains, power progression, character development, and reworking previous chapters so that they're grammatically better and easier to read.

I can not stress this next point enough.

THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT THIS NOVEL WILL BE DROPPED. 

It's just that I'll be taking a break from this story to work on a few other projects that I've thought up.

Escape is Impossible: "Hello, is anyone there?  I was advised to come here after the deed was done."

Wishful Thinking: "Ahh, a new memeber joins us this day.  Welcome, if you have any issues or questions feel free to reach out.  After all, we all share a similar interest here."

Escape is impossible: "I only have one question right now.  How do I properly dispose of the body?"

As I gazed at the absurd chat before me I could only pray in my heart and ask again.  "System, what do want me to do again?"

"Host has 8 hours to apprehend the murderer known as Escape is Impossible before he successfully disposes of his victim's body.   Failure to do so will result in the termination of the host."

As of now, the novel is on hiatus. I am currently busy with loads of work and I haven't found a single free time to write.

While writing this novel, I realized some of my flaws.

First is that I was unable to create an outline.

Second, I lack knowledge and all of the chapters are written through my whims and tastes. I have gotten off track and unable to continue.

Third. Due to my procrastination, I didn't brainstorm anything and that brewed me a calamity.

Fourth, Due to overload works in order to maintain my grade above 2.0, I had been avoiding my work.

The novel is "Under Construction". And I need time to recreate, rewrite, and rethink what I need to write.

I need materials and references, and that would definitely take time.

I had several ideas already and had already started to layout my character's system. 

Feel free to drop the novel, and pick it up once it's back on track again. Or don't, if it's not your taste.

Hello! 

Really sorry for vanishing for two months without any prior notice. I could have dropped a notice or something,  but honestly, I never expected to be gone for so long. 

Truthfully, I believe actions speak louder than words and excuses are useless. But I would still like to apologize and just give a brief summary of what happened. 

Some of you  might have seen me online complaining or criticising books,  so it was nothing major,  but just time consuming. Due to a sudden Order,  I had to join in and help my parents in our family business. That took majority of my time,  and that's why I was rarely online during April and May. 

After that it was job rush. I am planning for MBA in the future,  but it requires about a minimum 2-3 years work experience.  Along with that,  my current resume has nothing but my bachelor's degree. Which is bad. So searching for skill sets to add,  jobs to try for,  the continuous interviews... it's been a busy June.  In between all this,  I completely forgot about the novel. ( I am sorry! ) 

I would just log in for few minutes every once in a while to catch up,  mostly while travelling or waiting. Writing a chapter requires anything between half an hour to few hours,  depending on my mood,  inspiration and what not. So, writing was not possible. I hate writing in batches,  as I always go back and start rewriting,  editing, and changing the story to make it feel better. Although the end result has won me prizes before,  it takes a long time. And many times I have dropped story's just because of this. So I write in a single sitting,  or almost two or three sittings. Which is... sorry... was currently,  impossible with my travelling schedule... and inherent laziness. 

Anyway, the story itself has not been planned. I have a brief outline and I am just adding on it. Like three months later,  I am feeling that I should have added a Dumbledore Chapter,  along with the abandonment issue,  before the French Chapter. 

I am learning. So just point out my mistakes,  and I would do my best to correct them. 

It was only yesterday,  when I saw the HPFF notice on Qidian,  that I recalled the novel. ( Yeah,  I have a shitty memory.) I still haven't read the notice yet. 😅

So yes. The story has not been dropped. I would be posting a chapter today or by tomorrow. The schedule is still undecided,  as I am also preparing for my Entrance Exams. 

Once again,  I apologize.

Harry Potter is born three years earlier and that changes everything. Being cast aside for his younger brother who is The Boy Who Lived,  he is thrown to the Dursleys. Fortunately,  he's saved by his Grandparents and this proves to be the turning point. Learning that strength is everything he starts  his journey to become something more than just a wizard.

But is everything that simple? 

Now he needs to navigate Wizard Politics, a delusional Old Man who believes in Greater Good, Aristocrats with multiple agendas, a civilization still stuck in Victorian Era and romance.

Dumbledore, Weasley,  Potter Bashing. ( To some extent.)

And things which break the laws of reality. Like a two year old rapping,  and earth being flat.

MC will be dark grey with his own agendas. 
An alien invasion? 

No fixed schedule...

I have the bigger picture with me and I'm still working with the outline and drafts. But, I will try my best to release more chapter a day or probably bonus chapters if this one does well in the ranking.
You may find it common or cliche or maybe u had read or watched something as similar, I'm not sure either but these were my ideas although there will be some common plot but I will make sure to avoid cliches stuff as much as possible. If I can't avoid it, I will try to make it interesting at some point...

Stunned, Arya wondered if she was hallucinating. The voice was very familiar. Her mind was spinning; she thought he sounded like Ryu. Then it occurred to her that the anger she was feeling might just clouding her judgment.

She abruptly shook her head and declared, "It's okay, I can wait outside. Dress first and let's talk after that. Call the reception once you are ready."

She heard the man chuckle as if amused, a familiar sound that made her turned around. She gasped when she almost bumped into a man's wet chest.

"Um sorry, you sound familiar." She said slightly, bowing her head to hide her flushed face.

She felt the man's arm encircled her waist while she was abruptly pulled towards him.

He then leaned forward and scornfully whispered into her ear, "Aren't you here to negotiate? I was hoping you had a better offer."

Arya frowned and abruptly pushed the man, attempting to get away from him. Instead, she was pushed back until she could feel her back pinned against the wall.

She tilted her head to look up at the rude man and was left with open-mouthed looking at a familiar face.

She was shocked but mumbled, "Ryu?"

Ryu smirked and stared at Arya's slightly opened lips and said, "Did you miss me? How about this?"

Before Arya can utter another word, Ryu captured her lips abruptly and kissed her roughly.

Arya felt the familiar lips that were deeply probing hers. It was the familiar conquering lips that, for six months, she had missed terribly.

The kiss that made her legs weak. They trembled slightly. Butterflies fluttered from her throat down to her stomach, sending a shiver through her core.

This was the kiss she had been longing for her entire life.
